Stupid question about the vitaminwater, etc. – you get $1 ECB when you buy 3 but it says limit 4. Does that mean you can buy 4 at that price but only get the $1 ECB for the first 3 or does that mean you can buy 3 four different times?

      • CS

        3 four different times

      • guest

That means that you can do this deal 4 times and receive the $1 dollar ECB each time. :-)

      • Heather M.

It means that you can get 4 deals, so you can buy 3 of them four times or 12 all together & you will still get all 4 ECBs. HTH

    • NorthALCouponer

      Wow slim pickings this week.

      • Tinawhedbee

        I thought the same thing.

      • CCShad

I agree. I will have to use my CVS $5 off $40 at Publix!

        • Leaz

wait WHAT?? I had no idea I could do that. Here I am trying to decide how to spend $40 at CVS and make it worth my while….and this very afternoon I spend $60 at CVS. Darnit. I didn't know they'd take those. Ug.

          • Check with your store first. Most Publix stores only accept grocery store competitor coupons so you might find that your area won't take it.

            • deb

Just came from Publix and was told they no longer accept CVS extra bucks or the $5/$40 q's. Said they would take Kroger but a new policy is coming and they will only take grocery competitors. She said they may not take the CVS, Walgreens and Target!! I am soooo depressed! I live in central Ga.

            • carrie

If that's the case, then my shopping at WAGS will go WAY down. I just spent $37 worth of RRs at Publix yesterday (spent $.41 and saved $90) and I still have $12 for next week.

        • coco

can you really use the $5 coupon at Publix?

          • Gillyp3864

            Take it easy here…
this is definitely a YMMV deal. Not every Publix takes these CVS Q's.
Mine here in Atlanta WILL NOT>

    • there is a $2 off on the bic razor to I found in my coupon binder not sure which insert it came out of but check your binders!

    • anneconover

Hi! I'm trying to start a couponers club in Greenville, NC. If you'd like to be added to the list to get updates, please e-mail greenvillecouponers@gmail.com so I have your address. Thanks!

    • <3 coupons!

Okay…Could you buy 4 Airwick starter kits for $20 and use 4 $4/1 Airwick starter kit [3/20 SS] Then you would pay $4.00 total then get 10.00 ECB. It would then be a 6.00 MONEYMAKER? Right?

      • sealey5

Actually the Air Wick starter kits are $6 each so it would bring your total to $24 before q's and ECB's.

        • Haleys100

Thats what I meant to put! sorry! So then… You would buy 4 for $24 and use 4 $4/1 making your total $8.00. Then it would be a $2.00 moneymaker?

          • Jacketfan24

That's what I'm going to do because my paper didn't have the coupon for the spray that she put with the scenario, so I had to improvise. Only $1 difference betweeen the two.

      • Marie

The starter kits are 6 dollars each…

    • Kb

      YAY on the bubbles too!!!!!!

    • Search4thetruth2

Sunday will be good for the $5 off of $40 CVS Coupon. Doing the Biore and Airwick/Lysol Deals with the Rain check I have for the Gum Eez ad Bubbles and Candy, I see a money maker. I have $10.50 ECB's to go with it. If all gose well $.98 OOP and earn back over $20 in ECB's.

      • Luvleebenge

I would love to see your scenario for that:)

        • Search4thetruth2

Here is my plan, I have a rain check I'm planning on using too.
7.50 Biore strips Q-2.00 IP (Internet Printable)
          7.50 Biore cleanser Q) BOGO-7.50 SS 3/6

          1.99 Super Miracle Bubbles
          .74 Russel Stover Bunny
2.00 Gum Eez Q-.75 IP (Rain Check)
          Total 40.23
          -5/40 CVS Q
          -23.75 Q's
          -10.50 ECB's
          =.98 oop earn 19.73 ECB's (10, 5, 2, 1.99, .74)
          Hope this helps?

        • Barbara

          Me too!

    • Wendy

There was a .75/1 tearpad for Smartwater in some CVS stores recently as well. And the Smartwater is included in the “buy 9, get 10th free” drinks at CVS (pretty sure it's still going, I'll have to look at the bottom of my receipt from yesterday). So after you buy 9, a coupon for a free bottle should print on your receipt and you can use this toward your next purchase and still get your EB back. :)

    • Zhu Zhu Pets are $9.99

    • libmom

I don't think the $1.00 off Special K protein bars will work for the Cereal bars, right?

    • Betty

Can you use a Target coupon at CVS?

      • Missy

If it says Target coupon at the top you can't..only if it says manufacturer coupon.

      • Mari

        no – I've tried

    • Proudlyamom

Jenny, you do know you can make your own bubbles with dish soap and cold water, right? ha ha

    • luiza

When I first started couponing at CVS, i'd come on this site for the scenarios, get it all ready and go. But a couple of times I ran into a situation whenever the transaction stated “total due:nothing”, because we still need to pay the tax : )
So, the first time I thought I had done something wrong; the second time I forgot again and actually did not have enough change in my purse for the tax I owed.
I've learned since then, but I often still have to remind myself to have small change available before doing such transactions.
Maybe it's just spacey me, or does anyone else think that it would be helpful if SS changed the phrasing to something like “total due: free plus tax” ? Thanks, Southern Savers!

      • Shelly Beans

I just make a mental note to factor in tax when I'm printing my scenarios. Jenny does so much, I wouldn't want to add any more!

      • Cayoung_8

the girl at my cvs said that a lot of people just buy a gift card.. and then use it on all those purchases that are low.. I mean you could use them on any but she says a lot of people do that to not have to fool with money over multiple transactions. food for thought. I actually had a credit card that had 5 percent cash back at drug store purchases… so I used that for the promotional period then when that was over I used the points I had accumulated to purchase my gift card because it gave you 20% more on the CVS card than if you got cash back… so I'm just rolling that money over to a card to use for purchases….hope this is helpful

        • Couponinggirl

It would be impossible for her to calculate tax on every transaction because every city, county, and state has different tax rates. Here in Georgia the tax is 3% on food and 7% on non-food items.

    • Jen

Slow week, good! I need a week off! =-P

Air wick refills… B1G1 coupon with the $1.50 off coupon… should work, right? Coupons say, “only one coupon per perchase and only on specified products and sizes”… meaning only one of each of those coupons on the item? Makes it more of a money maker!

      • Lori

I believe they are coded 14, so you cannot use those B1G1 with another coupon.

        • Anne

What does coded 14 mean? I would think you could use the 2 Qs together. I was actually thinking of using the B1G1 with the starter kit, since technically you are buying a refill, it just happens to come with the sprayer.

          • Val

This means that the coupon will attach to both items so, when you try to use the $1.50 coupon the register will not accept it. I don't have the coupon in front of me but it'll have 14 as the third and second to last digit on the coupon.

            • Anne

Interesting, I did not know that. I guess I just learned something new. So, even though the store policy says I can use another coupon on the purchased item, I will not be able to use the B1G1 Q because of the 14 on the code? That stinks, and makes things very confusing. Thank you so much for replying.

            • Sb

It will probably be up to the cashier. They may push the coupon through- they may not. You could always ask the manager before you check out.

            • Sb

And I agree. It does make things confusing. Other b1g1 coupons are coded differently and you can use two coupons (01- for instance which will prompt the cashier to enter the price of the one free). We shouldn't have to read between the manufacturer coupon numbers– it should be simply stated :). good luck.

    • Faye

Please forgive me if I'm asking a dumb question but tonight is my first night on this site. If I go to CVS and buy the Kellogs deal #3, is that the only deal I can make in a transaction? Do I go back the same day and make deal #2?

      • Tammie

If you are talking about the scenario transactions, ECB's are used from the previous transaction. If you are new to this, I would suggest you look at Jenny's video on getting started with CVS. Also, you will need to sign up to get an Extra Care Bucks card. (you can use your phone number at the store, after you have signed up; so you don't have to wait for the card to arrive.) Welcome to couponing.

        • Faye

Thanks so much. I will look at the video. I do have a a CVS card, but have never taken advandage of it.

      • Barbara

I do all my transactions at the same time. I have done up to 4 or 5 small transactions in a row if there isn't a line forming behind me. My CVS is getting to know me now and know to expect at least 2 or 3. I used to try to do them in different trips, but it is just not practical for my schedule or the cost of gas! Just separate all transactions in your cart, put coupons with the items you are using them for. When you get your receipt, tear off your ecbs and use them on your next transaction. You will get better and faster at the whole thing after a couple trips. Hth!

    • MBGirl

Kellogs coupons says Limit Reached! I hate that I can't print these off at work! I knew they would be gone by the time i got home to print them!! Does anyone know of another printable website for them?

      • Caredoll

Snackpicks has a few on their site. They also have $.75/1 for the Baby Swiss Cheez-Its there! They are on sale for $1.99 next week.

        • MBGirl

      • Scubagirl252003

Go to kellogs.com – join and i printed out all their coupons, just now. Good Luck!

    • GAcoupongirlie

Recyclebank has the Honest Tea $1 coupons for 30 points. It is a printable, and you can get 2 copies.

      • emj

They were only 10 pts. Looks like they've gone up.

    • Wilto

Only deal I'm looking to do for this ad is the lysol/air wick spend $20 get $10 ECB.
I have 4 $4 off coupons for the starter kit.
      Before coupons $24
After coupons $8 Get $10 ECB back

I'M terrified of the zhu-zhu pets!!!!

    • malou

I am so thankful for this site (Jenny) and for everyone else who takes the time to answer many of my questions. I have learned so much in just the short time that I've been couponing.

    • hope

question – can i use a register reward printed out from walgreens at cvs? it clearly says manufacturer coupon on it so i figured it wouldn't be a problem. anyone out there tried this?

      • Slgumm

I don't think you can. The RR's are not for a specific product so I think that's how a lot of places get around having to take them. I wish everybody would take them!

        • Tiff715

No you can not, it is a $ off coupon for that store and CVS will not take it

          • Debbie Parnell

It does say manufacturer coupon at the top, I have used them at Publix.

      • Tishness

yes you are right it is a manufacture coupon!!! and Yes it can be used at cvs!! i work for cvs and have used my rr's at cvs and not had a problem with it yet!!! as long as it says manufacture coupon and the barcode starts with a 5 you can use it anywhere!!

      • Firstbrownie

I've used them there with no problem!

    • libmom

Question: The $1.00 off Special K is for the protein bars. Can you use this on the cereal bars as well (from what I can tell from the CVS ad it doesn't look as if the protein bars are on sale). I'm new to this, so I need help!:)

      • Sarah

Nope, sorry. You have to follow the wording on the coupon (even if a cashier would push it through).

    • ljisaok

is there a rule on how many ECBs you can use on one transaction?

      • Moms-coupons

No, there is not rule on how many ECBs can be used in one transaction. However, keep in mind that you don't get change back on ECBs. Also, in my area, ECBs are not applied towards tax. So, if you have $6 in ECBs, and you buy a $5.00 item, you are “wasting” $1 of your ECB, and in my area I will still have to pay OOP for the tax on the $5 item.

        • ljisaok

    • Amber

Has anyone priced the Jergens Natural Glow lotion? Would like to get that deal…and give some color to my pale skin! :) Happy Friday all!

      • Amy

        They are 2/$15

        • Amber

          Thanks, Amy! Perfect!

        • Amber

I just realized Jenny has the price listed…sorry about that!

    • Kelly

Does anyone know if you have to use all of your raincheck at once? I have one for 6 items, but could I ask to only get 2? And still have a raincheck for 4 of them?

      • Dianelynn2004

I did. The cashier just made me a new raincheck for the remaining amount. I had a raincheck for 6 clean and clear but have only been able to find two so they just wrote the new raincheck!!

        • Kelly

That's actually what I have the raincheck for :) I'm trying to find $2 worth of filler items in my scenario and would love to only get 4 and save the other 2 for another time. Thank you!!

        • Tishness

only if we dont have the product can we do that!!! if we have all 6 and u only want 2 this time we cant or are not suppose to rewrite it!!! just a helpful hint there bud!! so dont expect to get by with it every time!! and it also depends on who you talk to!!

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

It should not “depend on who you talk to…” There should be one procedure across the board. Employees make up their own things and create too many problems, making it difficult for us to plan and do a pleasant shopping visit.

      • Firstbrownie

My store in IL lets me do that all the time; they just change the quantity on the raincheck……very nice! My store is a small one with a total of 6 employees plus one manager and I know them all very well, so they are very helpful.

    • Amber

I'm so excited about this ad. It's a perfect week to use my $5 off $40. Here's my plan:

      2 Jergens Natural Glow lotions $15 (2 $1/1 q's)
      1 Super Miracles Bubbles $1.99
      1 Russell Stover Bunny $.74
      3 Lysol Neutra Air Freshmatic Kits $18 (3 $4/1 q's)
      1 Lysol Neutra Air Aerosol Spray $2.50 (1 $1/q q)
      3 Kellogs Special K bars $9.99 (2 $1/1 q's)

      Total: $48.22
      Coupons: $17.00
      Tax: $2.19
      ECBs used: $12.50
      $5/$40: $5.00
      Total Due: $15.91 (with tax)

And, I get $21.73 in ECBs back! I'm so excited about this. If the $3/2 coupon is in my edition of the Smart Source this Sunday and if I can find one more Special K Bar q, I'll be doing even better! Anyone see a problem with this?

    • Angie8220

heads up there is a $2 off on the bic razor in the Sunday paper don't remember which one sorry I think 3/20 or 3/27 which would make it $4.99 and you would get back 3ecb.

      • Amy

I think that coupon is for disposables only.

        • bichelle

The razors are disposable so you can use the $2 off coupon – I got that deal yesterday.

          • Griffingirl69

            I used it too:)

    • Bianca_g

i'm new at this and was wondering what it doesnt let me print 3 coupons for the (3) Kellogg’s Special K Bars …only lets me print 2 then says limit reached. is there a way to print 3?

      • Yanteks

2 is all you can print from one computer. you have to go to another one in order to print another 2.

      • Couponinggirl

@ Bianca go to http://www.specialk.com/products/coupons and you can print another one from there. That’s what I had to do. HTH :)

    • Chris

Just this week, for the first time EVER, the store would not accept the $2 coupon for the toothbrushes along with the BOGO. They said and the manager agreed, that they would only accept 1 coupon for the two items. So, I went to a different store, and they said the same thing!!!

I know I did the same scenario at their stores just a week ago with the Clean n Clear bodywash ($1 off and BOGO). So what is the actual recorded policy? SS doesn't address this issue in the one company letter that is under the tab for “almost official coupon policy”

Any ideas? I thought I just had an issue with that store I wasn't used to, but tonight it was my regular store!! I just didn't buy anything!

      • Katie

my mom and i both did the B1G1 toothbrushes with the $2 off with no problem, at different stores. i hope they dont change this!

        • bichelle

same here – no problem no questions

      • Mel

The thought process is this: 1st Item you purchase, 2nd Item is free with Coupon, so coupon attaches to that item. Then, the $2 off should attach to the one you paid for. What is happening at the register is that the B1G1 requires 2 items purchased, so if it is scanned 1st, it will not allow the second coupon to attach to either of the B1G1 items. The only way the register will accept both is to scan the $2 off coupon first, then the B1G1. The other issue is the individual wording on the B1G1 coupon. While CVS will allow a Manufacturer's coupon on the purchased item for the store's B1G1 sales, the Manufacturer's B1G1 coupon may specify cannot be combined with any other offers, in which case the Mgr may refuse the second coupon.

      • Kacey76

I've tried several stores where I'm from and it doesn't work here either.

      • Arichoasis

Be sure to use your CVS card LAST – coupons will scan and all sales that are BOGO will show up as coupons at the end!

    • LIsa

10 Kellogg's cereal upcs can be used toward $10 in gas. Search Kellogg's gas rewards card(sorry, don't know how to link) for which cereals and to get the form. It's not Special K though.

      • Anne

Thank you so much for posting!!

    • Anne

What does coded 14 mean? I would think you could use the 2 Qs together. I was actually thinking of using the B1G1 with the starter kit, since technically you are buying a refill, it just happens to come with the sprayer.

      • Anne

Sorry, for some reason this posted in the wrong spot.

      • Lori

If you take a look at some B1G1 coupons, some have '14' as the last two digits. Those coupons attach to both items, and you cannot use a second coupon with it. If it does not have a '14' at the end, then it attaches to the free item, and you can use another coupon on the item you are paying for.

    • tina

anyone else having problems getting the 5 off 40 coupon

      • Couponing Rocks!

I believe the 7th was the last day you could sign up for the 5 off 40.

        • tina

          darm ok thanks

    • nancycrom

I have an ip Biore q, can't remember where i printed it, but it says 2.00 off “any biore skincare cleanser”, not “any biore product”. So I can't do the Biore deal because both this q and the get 1 free cleanser will both attach to the cleanser, right? Do you guys all have the same one or a different ip q?

    • Sarah

If you can shop saturday night at your CVS what time do you usually go? I have always done my shopping late sunday afternoon after church (sunday morning is not an option with trying to get 2 small children ready for church), but it seems like the air wicks would be gone by then making this deal and using the 5/40 coupon pointless.

      • Snowski824

I was at CVS the other day and they told me that corporate changed the time the sale starts on Sat. She said all stores depend on managers discretion but most are starting it at 4 pm and 24 hour stores start it at 9 or midnight. I would suggest calling your store to find out.

      • KA

my cvs starts at 4:00 saturday. Went for the airwick deal and they only had 2 of the $6 freshmatics, so i had to come up with a new plan when i got there!

      • Couponing Rocks!

Mine use to be all day Saturday. I had never gone on Saturday before, but was going to be near CVS today so I called to confirm. The manager said that corporate won't let them do it Saturday til 4:00. I went at 5 and the deals worked but there were no signs up, so you definitely need to know what you are going for.

      • Arichoasis

It is whenever they start putting up the signs and some stores work on it all day Saturday – they are required to honor any and every sign put up (including wrong price tags and old sale tags that were missed).

    • Yuliyaporter

DOes anybody know if the Zhu-zhu pets sale include play set and pets (like puppies and etc) Thanks

    • laura

Question with the Air Wick deal…as long as I hit the $20 before coupons I'll still get the $10 ECB back right? I thought I heard somewhere it matters when the total is AFTER the coupons?!

      • BG102

Nope its before coupons :) I like it that way!

      • Couponing Rocks!

I just did this deal & it is definitely before coupons. I bought 4 of starter kits = 24.00 & used 4 – $4.00 off coupons. Total due 8.00 plus tax & got 10 ECB.

    • CCShad

Bounty 8 pack is on sale this week for $6.99 and the red machine has recently been printing out $3 off Bounty (excluding Basic). Pair that with a $1 off coupon from P&G booklet and that's $2.99. This is for the sturdier solid white Bounty paper towels.

      • Katie

i got a $1 for the red machine, but didnt realize they were 6.99, thanks!

      • Crafty_cat_86

me too! I'm going to pair that with the revlon q and the $5/40 coupon from facebook and get $40 worth of stuff for profit!!

    • Mlm82lmm04

530pm on satand not a darn thing on the shelves. Is it really worth the drive to get a rain check and hopefully be able to use it with ur coupons before they expire.

      • Crafty_cat_86

you can have them staple your coupons to the raincheck and they'll take them, even if they're expired. (at least they've offered to do that at my CVS)

    • Couponing Rocks!

Just got back from CVS. This was my first time doing a Saturday night shopping spree. I had a couple of little hiccups, but in the end everything went great & they paid me to shop.

4 airwick starter kits 24.00 (these are normally 12.99 each!)
      1 Biore Strip 7.50
      1 Biore Cleanser 7.50
      1 bubbles 1.99
      1 R.S. egg .74
      Total Due 41.73
      Used 5 off 40 -5.00
      4 / $4.00 Airwick -16.00
      Free Biore coupon -7.50
      Total Due 13.23
      ECB's prior week -11.00
      Total OOP before tax 2.23
      Tax 3.86
      Total OOP 6.09

      ECB received: 10, 5, 1.99, .74 = 17.73
      ECB used: 10.99
      Net ECB's made 6.74
      Paid OOP 6.09
      Profit on Trip .65

So when you factor in the additional ECB's I got back over the ECB's I used, I ended up making a .65 profit even after factoring in tax!!! Plus, I found a dime on the ground on my way in, so now it is a .75 profit :) And to think, when I looked at the ad, I wasn't even going to go to CVS this week, because I didn't see anything I needed/wanted.

      • Prsol

Love the extra 10 cents you made in your way out!
isn't that funny how we look at change with different eyes once you start couponing? :D

      • Griffingirl69

You got exactly the same thing I did:)~used my ecb from last week too & I was sooo happy when I left!

    • adrienne

if something is BOGO and i buy one is it half off at cvs? i cant find the answer in the almost q policy link on here

      • Brooke1261

You have to buy both. I think most drugstores are true BOGO.

        • adrienne

          alrighty thanks:)

    • Happy Feet

I am $.43 short on my $5/$50 make up… bought something 3 days ago… how long does it take for me to get the $5?

      • Jezzika

the next time you go in scan your card at the coupon center, and it should print out.

      • Crafty_cat_86

If you link your extracare account online, you can view the updated total of everything, including the beauty spending. The fine print says it takes 48 hrs. for your total to update, and that has been my experience.

      • Hael80

I was a few cents short also, but a few days later it printed.

    • adrienne

a $5 off 2 revlon face or lip cosmetics printed at cvs today…..so excited first time i got one that was not for candy ;)

      • Prsol

        Lucky you! :-)
All I keep getting is the silly 25cents off on Musketeers! LOL
        (On TWO musketeers, that is… i mean, c'mon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

      • Anonymous

There are $2 off on any Rev. face product Q (and $1 on any Rev. product) out this SS 4/10. Thus, total Q value $9 for two items. Could you please list what Revlon face product(s) would be $4.50 or so each to make the most of this Q combo?

    • Wilto

Going to run to CVS tomorrow and there is only 1 deal I'm interested in and that is the air wick.

Buy 4 Air wick starter kits at $6 each = $24.
Use 4 $4 off coupons to bring it down to $8.
Used $8ECB, pay the tax and get $10ECB back!

      • Anonymous

Read my post above for even better scenario

    • Corey G

I see for Air Wick that some of the $4 Q's say “Freshmatic ULTRA” and some just say “Freshmatic.” There's no Ultra in the name. Does anyone know if they're two different things or if it's the same? In other words, could I use either the SS 3/20 coupon or the printable coupon?

      • Syndilew

There is a Freshmatic Ultra Kit and there is a Freshmatic imotion kit. They are two different things but I believe that the “Freshmatic” one would work on either or but the “Freshmatic Ultra” will only work on that specific one. HTH

    • Syndilew

Does anyone know when the Colgate deal ends?

    • Drstephvdw

Sat. night at CVS is awesome! I got the Crest rinse deal from this week, and the lysol/finish deal for this upcoming week all in one trip!

      2x Crest Pro Rinse for $7 – 2x $2 q = $3.20 paid with $5 ECB back

      Air Wick Freshmatic starter kit – $6 – $4 q
      4x Finish – $12- $3 in q's
      Lysol Neutro air spray – $2.50 – $1.50 q
      – $5 ECB = $8.40 paid, and $10 ECB back!

So, basically, I paid about $1.60 for all this stuff! Thanks Southern Savers and CVS!

    • Burroughs85

Well…I went to CVS tonight to do last week and this week in one trip, but was disappointed that I'd mapped out a plan and most things were already gone. I also made the mistake of not realizing that the freshmatic coupons would work on all variations, so I got 1 compact unit and only used a $2 off instead of the $4:( but it still went pretty well. I was oop more than expected but stocked up on some candy for Easter. I got:
      I got:
      4 Oral B toothbrushes
      2 Crest Pro Health toothpastes
      1 Crest Complete Rinse
      2 Bottles Contact Solution
      Lysol Nutra Air Aerosol
1 Airwick Freshmatic Kit (automatic air freshener)
1 Freshmatic Compact (smaller motion sensored)
      2 Airwick Freshmatic Refills
      1 Airwick scented oil burner
      2 Scented oil refills
      Box of Pampers Cruisers
      Charmin Ultra (9 rolls)
      20 ct. Duracell AA Batteries
      2 Marshmallow Eggs
      3 Mentos Gum
      2 bags of Skittles Jellybeans
2 bags of Hershey Bliss Chocolate eggs
      1 package of Peeps
4 Large Easter eggs (filled with skittles, M&Ms)
      …..for $32.47 with $10 ECB left

For being pretty new at CVS I felt like I saved a lot!

    • steph.

Visine – A.C. Seasonal Itching & Redness Relief (1/2 fl oz – 15 mL) : $2.99 (on sale). Use $2 off Smartsource or $2 Redplum Visine (1/2 FL OZ or larger) coupon.

    • Crafty_cat_86

Has anyone tried to use the B1G1 airwick refills with the $1.50 coupon? That's my plan and you make $1 more that way (4-$5 refills -2 b1G1, -2 $1.50/1 -10 ECB makes $3 profit), but it seems people are just getting the starter sets.

      • KA

i did that yesterday, bought 4, used 2 B1G1 and 2 $1.50 off, it beeped when i used the B1G1 first and then the $ off, but they just typed it in. However, when i did a clean and clear deal, i used the $ off first and it went fine! Would try it that way to be safe! My store only had 2 scents though, and not very many of them

        • Prsol

Thanks for the tip on how to hand out your coupons, KA. Will keep that in mind for future trips! ;-)

        • sahMomof2boys

same here, except I used it on the oral-b toothbrush deal…used the $off Q first then the B1G1. Got two toothbrushes for $0.99 (plus one had a free sample of crest toothpaste on it) and got back $1.98 ECB's! they paid me to buy toothbrushes I love this couponing thing!!!!

      • Nikpik27

I tried today and she scanned the b1g1 free first and of course the $1.50 off beeped. My store in Savannah won't push through coupons. Somewhere in the Carolina's, someone crafted a way to make their own free soda coupons from a company and they were fakes to say the least. Now, any coupons that beeps, they won't push it through. As an after thought, I should have gave her the dollar off coupons first but I didn't think about it till after she started scanning. I made out even on the deal but making $3 would have been even better.

      • sarahcas

I did this earlier. I bought 2 starter kits and used 2 $4 off coupons and then also bought 2 refills and used a b1g1 coupon and a $1.50 coupon and didn't have any issues and that was even with the cashier ringing up the b1g1 coupon first.

    • Jfrainey05

I have asked at all pharmacys and no one knows about the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet. Where do you get this booklet? Thanks

      • Prsol

I believe it was found at Kroger. But I have never seen one, no matter how much I patrol their aisles… :-(

        • Amy J.

Funny, I found one at my Kroger (finally, after looking for months) and when I got home and looked it over, the coupons had expired the month before! LOL, go figure!

          • Prsol

LOL!!! At least I can rest in peace now, knowing that I can stop looking for that silly booklet!!!! :D
Thanks for the update Amy! :-)

    • Anonymous

I spent $3.21 and got $57.71 worth of stuff this week at CVS!

    • Mrsjsdugas

So I thought I would post my first big CVS savings. Last night I took advantage of last week's sales flyer and my coupons and spent $30.24 out of pocket on $61.73 worth of product AND have $19.49 in ECB's to spend today for this week's flyer (my trip is already planned out!) Today I plan on spending less than $1 out of pocket for 13 items, and will have $13.73 left in ECB's to spend!!

    • Amy J.

Here's my transaction from CVS this morning…..I started out with $8.99 ECB.
1 Lysol Freshmatic starter kit $6
2 Airwick Freshmatic starter kits $12
      1 Lysol Neutra Air 10oz. $2.50
      1 Super Miracle Bubbles $1.99
1 Russell Stovers caramel egg 74 cents
      coupons used:
      1 lysol starter kit $4
      2 Airwick starter kits ($4) $8
1 lysol neutra air $1.00 (couldn't find the $1.50 Q, until after i got back home, oh well)
      $8.99 ECB
      subtotal $1.24
      total incl tax $2.84
      got back $12.73 ECB
Still made a profit, would've been 50cents with the better Q for the lysol neutra air aerosol….still pleased though.
Hope this helps someone plan her/his trip today :-)

      • Amy J.

***would've been 50 cents more of a profit***

      • Coupongal18

Our trips were VERY similair with my being minus the Russell Stovers…didn't realize they were there until AFTER – but, will probably go back and get some later this week (well, before Tuesday)!!!! :)

      • ~Heather~

Looks exactly like my trip today! I too only had the $1.00 coupon with me, but still a very good deal! :)

    • Wilto

I spent $3.21 and got $57.71 worth of stuff this week at CVS!

    • Andia

There is a $1 off any Brut product in the 4/10 Smartsource

    • Coupongal18

When I first saw the ad, I was disappointed but then I realized the ad wasn't that bad!!! I am pretty well stocked on toothpaste, toothbrushes, cleaners, etc. so I didn't need any of that …so, I went to CVS this am to get in on the AirWick deal because I use airfresheners in my classroom at school….so, I can ALWAYS use those…..

      Here is what I bought:
      (1) Magic Bubbles
      (1) Lysol Neutra Air Can
      (2) Airwick Ultra Freshmatic
      (1) Lysol Freshmatic

I used: (3) $4.00 off coupons for Freshmatics, $1.00 off Neutra Air Can and $4.00, $1.98, $2.50 ECB from last week

      Total before coupons: $23.49
OPP after coupons/ECB's, etc. : $1.11 PLUS I got $11.99 in ECB to use for next week!!!!! Great trip and a great smelling classroom to boot!!!!

      Thanks Jenny!!!!!

      • momofbugs

I tried the airwick deal and they wouldn't let me use more than one of the same kind of coupon. Anybody know why?

        • Coupongal18

Hmm….it might just be the manager at that store…they should have let you use the coupons…if you had three of them, they should have let you use three coupons, if you had four, they should have let you use four, etc……I would have questioned it……what did they tell you was the reason?

          • momofbugs

They said that the computer wouldn't let me use more than one coupon of the same type. I was kind of thrown off so I didn't really question them. Maybe I'll go back and ask more questions.

            • Happy Feet

If this is your manager talking to you now.. find out when she is there and go back… :o)

            • Coupongal18

Yes, I would – you definitely should have been able to use those coupons – if anything, they should give you the value of the coupon – the cashier just didn't realize I guess

            • Prsol

Can you return the items and buy them right away, using the coupons?
Perhaps taking your coupons to a different CVS?
Also, how about asking your cashier/manager to simply “try” ringing the coupons, see if it works. I bet it's just some silly store policy.
It makes no sense to me that they wouldn't take whatever # of coupons you had if the # of items matched!

    • Atowner36

I'm new to this and was wondering if someone could answer a question. There have been several times that the coupon match-up says that a coupon would be in a certain SS or RP and I could not find it. Today, there was supposed to be a $1 off Maybelline eyeshadow or eye liner, RP 4/10 and I looked through RP several times and didn't see it. I live in NC. Please help. Thanks!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Some Qs are regional meaning, you may not get it where you are but your surrounding towns/cpunties/states might. In some cases, there is variations within newspapers too. Therefore, it is a good idea to get more than one type of newspaper.

        • Atowner36

          Thank you!

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

The Biore $2 printable was for the cleanser or “any product?” If it was for cleanser, then you could only use one or the other- either bogo or $2.

    • Araepattterson17

I cant find the 1.50 Q off lysol neutra air aerosol can but i noticed below that some poeple used a 1Q where did yall find this?

      • Prsol

Look in the SS insert from 3/20. ;-)
As Heather reported, it is the one with the Ken's salad dressing on the cover)

    • I have a question about the pricing for items: For instance, the Lysol All Purpose Cleaner is 2/$5. Can you buy one for $2.50, or will it ring up at the retail price?

      • JessicaJ

You can buy 1 for $2.50.

        • Bamabobbie

Purchased one Lysol NewAir for $2.50 then three Air Wick freshmacti. Found out when I got home I didn't get my ECB's because the price on the Air Wick Freshmatic was $5.00 each at out store. I though I saw here it was $6. each. Now have to go back and get one more. Now don't need the Lysol NeuAir. I always mess up on my transactions.

          • Yanteks

I did the exact same thing and needed another 2.50 for the 10 ECB so I bought another air wick and neutra air…. but at least we'll get it in the end?!

          • Tammy

LOL… I am just starting out and I know exaclty what you mean about messing up!! I said I need to hurry up and get the hang of this before I go with a big haul… good luck to you and maybe we will both get it before long..

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

I posted this above. AW imotion kits are for $5 and the new odor detector ones are for $6 (and possibly the ultra ones are for $6. Thus, you may have picked up imotion kit. They all look alike.

      • Jpentrack

Almost Always at all drug stores i know for sure cvs when the sale is bogo or 50% and 2 for $ you have to buy two to get the sale price be careful you might want to ask but i have never payed half of the sale price also i watched a lady do this and she paid with ebc had the manager not been as nice as she was she would have lost those to even with having to buy 2 of what ever is on sale i save a huge amount of money thank you cvs

    • Heather

My CVS trip was awesome! I got 3 Air Wick Freshmatic kits, 1 Lysol Neutra Air spray, 4 big bags of M&Ms, 1 of the bubbles, 1 Russel Stover's egg, 1 Biore pore strips and 1 Biore towelettes. Spent .17 cents (before tax), saved $77 and got back, $17.73 ECBs!!

      • Araepattterson17

where did you find a Q for the lysol neutra air spray? i dont have a 1.50 on in my ss

        • Heather

It was a $1.50 on any 1 Lysol Neutra Air can in the SS 3/20 insert that had the Ken's salad dressing on the cover.

    • Lori

has anyone else had trouble with the cashier at the cvs on Emman. ch. road? He is so arrogant and always has something to say about us “southern savers”. Today he said you must be a SS very rudely. then told me all about ss etiquette which i'm fully aware of. (wanted to do 2 transactions). i asked the lady behind me to go ahead and she said she was a ss too and didn't have a problem with me doing my 2nd small order ahead of her. i'm really tired of cashiers thinking we're trying to pull one over on them, he needs to realize that we're shopping there thus giving him a job!!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Next time, tell him out and loud it was not his business what you are or not; and his job is simply to process transactions (I mean it literally). Sorry to excellent CVs employees! This is not my attitude towards you-but some employees need a kickback

    • Maritzabel Rivera

The Freshmatic minis were also $5 at my CVS and I used the $4off ANY freshmatic, making this a much better deal! So I paid $4 OOP and got back $10. Total money maker!!!! This was not my total, I did purchase other items and had EB from last week, But paid $3.42 with 2 transactions and have $25 EB to spend later! Didnt score the free bubbles though, my store was out! : (

    • Beverly

Just had to share my CVs deal. I bought 1 airwick freshmatic , 1 lysol neutra air kit, 2 Airwick mini kits, 22.00 used 14.00 in coupons with tax it was 9.54OOP and received my 10:00 ECB. Next ,I bought the Biore cleansing strips and cleaner, sunsweet prunes, Russell stover bunny, and bubbles. Used the B1G1 for Biore and my 10.00 ECB and a .75coupon for the prunes and my free Biore came up as credit coupon at 8.39, so with tax I paid 1.69. Received 5.00 ECB 1.99 ECB and ,74 ECB for my next trip.
When I subtract cash I spent and my left over ECB's . I only spent 3.60. !! I am excited!!!

    • Hael80

Gillette disposables are B1G1 50% off. There is a B1G1 coupon in the Sunday paper… I know this won't make them free, but wouldn't it ring up 2 for the price of 50% off one?

      • Sabrinawailes

i need to know too i think it will make the first one 50% off and the second free

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

In such cases, b1g1 Q applies to lower priced item. Meaning, the b1g1 Q value of 50% off price will be deducted. Thus, you will get two for the full price of 1 making each 50% off, basically. Some cashiers are open minded and will take off the “full” price making the deal better

      • Caroline

I was planning to do that today because the Custom Plus razors are the only ones my husband will use. I got there and they’re $10.49 each! The coupon only gives you free up to $7.13. I couldn’t risk it not being 50% of one for both of them and having to pay more. I’ll hang on to the coupon and hope they run an ECB deal or Rite Aid has them.

    • Daphnerose

      • Prsol

It's my understanding that there are certain number of coupons available to print.
Once that number is reached, the system doesn't allow more printing and tells you that you have already reached your limit (Annoying, I Know!)

Jenny also has a guide on printed coupons at the bottom of this page. Click on PRINTABLE COUPONS and do the trouble shooting in case that, indeed, your printer/internet browser has a problem.

More likely, the coupons are gone and we'll have to wait for another round.

      • Jpentrack

Also be very careful and wait for coupons to load if you close the broswer and your coupons have not printed it still thinks you have printed your coupons and you will get the same message also if you have printed the same coupon from another site the same message will come up

    • guita

Hello all, I had a question since I am rather new at this CVS thing. I went to my local CVS last week and tried to use my $4 off of $20 and was told that unless the coupon was printed in color, I was not allowed to use my $4 off $20 coupon. I pointed out that there were instructions on there for her to manually ring it up, but the cashier told me that they could not accept the coupon unless it was in color. I left a little upset since I had to pay more OOP than I was expecting. Today I went in expecting to have an awesome trip. I had $10 ECB from last week and was going to buy 3 of the AirWick systems and 1 Lysol spray. I had one coupon from the actual newspaper and three more were printed off the internet. The cashier told me that her store does not accept ANY printed coupons! They only take coupons from the newspaper now. Coupons must be in color, or you could use the CVS printed coupons. I live in South Florida. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Or is this a new CVS policy? Any help/advice/answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

      • Mari

Call corporate. I live in Miami, FL my printer is only b/w and never have a problem in CVS

        • guita

Thank you Mari. I live near Westchester but work in Homestead. I tried calling the Homestead store to verify if I could use the coupons there, but nobody picked up. I'm pretty sure I've used manufacturer coupons in the FL city store. When I started calling around to all of my local CVS, they all told me the same thing-no manufacturer's coupons. I will be calling corporate tomorrow morning once they're open. I guess my local CVS won't be getting much business from me!

          • Prsol

I'm in GA, and one of the CVS locations that I visit has a cashier that doesn't like printed coupons (color or not). The manager at the store told her it was OK to take my coupons, but she explained that at her previous location they were not allowed.
I guess sometimes it depends on the store manager, but calling corporate will be your best bet. Maybe they can even e-mail you a response so that you can have this in writing, and take it to the store (printed in color, of course! LOL)

      • Tonyadubose4268

I work for cvs and while the coupon policy has been updated, we still take coupons off the internet. If you had a 4 off 20 that cvs sent you they are suppose to take no matter what because its from cvs. Color or black and white doesnt have to do with anything, if they do that again just ask for the policy or the district managers number and they might change there minds.

      • Jpentrack

I find this very funny because none of the coupons i have recived from cvs in my email have ever printed in color not even the coupons that come out of the cp center are in color now the cashier may have tried to scan this and it did not take because most of those coupons state that you cant use them on sale items even if you have one sale item in your transaction it will kick it out .Im in georgia I have never had an issue with any coupon printed or etc,my cvs wont allow sale items if the coupon says on full price etc.. and honestly most of the time i save more money when i stick with my sales and ecb with that said I belive i would contact there corprate. there is a 800# on your extra care card I would start there and im sure when you explain what happened they will make sure you get another coupon

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Color coupons for CVS? Was that a joke? I would immediately report this nonsense to the 800 number and district office. CVS coupon does not state it has to be in color; you could actually win in court if you challenge that nonsense. Also, there might be some consumer protection laws that were broken by the cashier for not accepting a legit advertised coupon.

      • eblux84

The $ off $$ coupons you get in your email specifically state that it doesn't matter if you print it in color or not. That cashier was dead wrong. I now have a black and white only printer so when I print the $ off $$ Qs, i just bring in the whole page (don't clip the Q) in case they have a problem with it.

      • Guitaherrera

Thank you all for your help! I called corporate and they were SO helpful and friendly. I was amazed at the response I received from them-I don’t know if I just got lucky with the rep that helped me or if they are all like that. He did take down notes and is contacting the district manager (who happens to manage 20-30 stores in my area, which I called about five of and all of the store clerks told me the same thing-no black and white manufactureres coupons), The CVS customer service rep that helped me out said that is absolutely absurd and he does not know why they would tell me something like that. We’ll see what the DM says when he contacts me.

Thanks again for all of your help!

    • Sdanorth

Pretty good day. 2 Airwick warmers, 3 refill 2-packs, Old Spice deo & body wash, 4 packs of 5-Gum, and 2 bags of easter candy for 14.41. Now that's it! I have NO ecbs left over and I'm swearing off CVS until bodywash, shampoo or toothpaste are gone!

    • MrsMelanieWhite

I am so proud of myself. I did my first SS trip to CVS. I bought 56.48 worth of stuff and only spent (after ECB) $8.ish!!! I felt like a million bucks! :) Yah!! Love this site!!

    • If there is anyone in the Winston-Salem, NC area please “like” the Winston-Salem Couponers page on Facebook. I just created it and I would like to have a group of people to talk to about the local deals. Also maybe any local tips! Maybe suggesting any clearance items found exc. Trading coupons or just Q&A! :)

    • Doodles_ga

I live in Georgia and have bought Sunday papers the last two weeks with no CVS weekly book. Did I miss something?

      • Kimo4kitt

I live in Tucson AZ and mine was missing for a few weeks too. I did get one today though

      • Tammy

I also got the AJC and didn't get anythign but the Target, Wags, and Kmart in the paper!! Very aggravated….I wonder why the others were not there??/

      • Prsol

I really thought they were trying something new as I had been missing it for the last 2 weeks or so, but today… SURPRISE! CVS is back in my AJC (I live in the west metro area of Atlanta)

However, today I'm missing Rite Aid!
        Go figure! :P

    • Leticiag30

Should I be able to use a B1G1 coupon for Air Wick Freshmatic refills and use another $1.50 off Q on the one I am paying for? Thanks for the help!

      • tina

i tried that today and the coupon wouldnt go threw

      • guest

I used both today with no problem.

        • Leticiag30

Do u know which one was scaned first. The B1G1 or the

          • guest

I didnt pay attention today :( sorry. I've done this with other things though and I give them the 1.50 first.

          • Prsol

I read some reports earlier on using your $1.50 off first, THEN trying the BOGO.
One user said her coupons beeped but the cashier entered them manually.
Another person reported that BOGO Q didn't work at all. I have “a thousand” of those coupons in my binder, so I look forward to my trip tomorrow.
If I get free warmers, that's great. If not, i think it's still a decent deal.
(But i really hope I can use the BOGO Q's at my store! :-(

    • Brooke

Has anyone tried the CeraVe skin care? My mom's dermatologist told her this is the best skin care available. I noticed it is b1g1 50% off and I saw there is a $1 off printable coupon in the coupon database. I'm considering using some of my extra bucks to try the CeraVe products; however, it is hard to even spend my extra bucks on the products after getting the Biore for free this week. So I'm just curious if anyone else has tried the CeraVe products? Thanks!

      • cs

My sister loves it, its the only one she uses. I didnt see that it was one b1g1 50 percent off, thanks for posting this so i can tell her.

      • Wmllewis

My son's dermatologist suggested it to us and even gave him samples and coupons for it. The night time moisturizer works wonders! It moisturizes and is an anti-inflammatory lotion so it helps get rid of any redness. We now swear by it in our house!

      • MommyOf2Boys

I love it. My dermatologist told me to use it too. My hands were very dry (I wash my hands all the time – have a baby) and they itched badly. I now have wonderfully soft hands.

    • Does anyone know how much the 3 pack of Gillette Disposable Mach 3 (3 packs) are at CVS? I am in Central Florida. Thanks

    • Yourwinegal

I am really amazed at the deals I read about here with CVS. I am new to SS, so I haven't tried CVS'ing yet. When I read the deals, I always seem to be missing a couple of coupons so I wouldn't be able to get the big savings I read about. I'm looking forward to my first successful trip to CVS with ECBs leftover to spend on my next visit!

    • Leticiag30

Do u know which one was scaned first. The B1G1 or the $1.50 q??

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Give $1.50 first. b1g1 always beeps no matter when you give-it beeps because it prompts to enter the product price manually. In some cases, even if you give $ off coupon after b1g1, it does not always beep.

        • Leticiag30

I went to CVS today. The register didn't take both coupons :( The employee didn't even try to put the price manually. I asked him to give me the 1.50 back so I could use the B1G1 instead and he had to cancell the whole transaction and start over.

          • Anonymous

I do not see why cancel the transaction just because one coupon beeped. All he needed to do is process the b1g1 Q instead. In any case, if $1.50 were scanned first, it would never beep. B1g1 would beep so he could enter the price of the item manually. I am not seeing any logic to refuse a valid transaction if it is done in that order (or not). That is the beauty of CVS, they are ready and willing to push thru any legit “trade.”

Got a survey this morning, to compare CVS & WAGS circulars. Was notified earlier in the week, and “qualified” for it, and got 10 ECBs which I was able to print immediately. Watch your junk mail, because that's where I found this gem!

    • Tkburns

I don’t see the airwick $4.00 coupon on coupons.com anymore, but if you still need it, it is available at airwick.com.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

      Read This…..

      a) Unlike certain dollar amount purchase to get ECB and $ balance is carried over from one transaction to another, it turns out item quantity purchase balance to get ecb is not carried over to multiple transactions. For example, to get $1 ecb on 3 Vitaminwater, you will need to buy them in multiples of 3 (6, 9, 12) to get the most of ECB. If you buy 10, you will get $3 ecb for buying 9, but that extra bottle will not count towards your next purchase. In a sperate transaction, instead of 2, you will need to buy 3 again to get your next/remainder ecb.

      b) In case you need a filler, Schick Disposables 2 count packs are in travel section for $1.29. Use $1 off coupon from 4/3 SS to get each for .29. (no worries! that $1 Q applies to this one and do not budge just in case, any vigilante employee starts making things up)

      c) Airwick Freshmatic (new) Odor detectors ones are for $6; but the Freshmatic (compact) imotion kits are for $5 and are a part of the deal (not sure on “ultra” ones if they are a part of the deal and how much). Thus, you may simply buy 4 imotion for $5 each for a total of exact $20; use 4 $4 Qs and owe $4 and get back $10 ecb making $6 profit. (just in case, for those of you who do not have $4 Qs, there is also $2 Q out for the new odor detector ones this SS 4/10)

      • couponlvr

I had to buy the $5 Airwicks because my store didn't even have the ones in the paper out yet. They said it was a new product for them and wouldn't be out for a couple of days. At least my coupon worked for the less expensive kits though so I was able to get them for $1 each.

      • laura

Where are you getting the $4 manuf coupons? I have one $4 from Air Wick but it's for the Ultra starter kit and my other $4 off manuf is for the starter kit. Will they accept these for the imotion kits?

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

imotion kits aka Airwick Freshmatic (compact) imotion is the starter kit. The $4 Q out in SS are for “Airwick Freshmatic” and thus applies to any model that is “Freshmatic.” The one with “ultra” is more specific to the “model” and then “sub-model” and thus can only be used with Freshmatic Ultras.

I posted this above. AW imotion kits are for $5 and the new odor detector ones are for $6 (and possibly the ultra ones are for $6. Thus, you may have picked up imotion kit. They all look alike.

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

Next time, tell him out and loud it was not his business what you are or not; and his job is simply to process transactions (I mean it literally). Sorry to excellent CVs employees! This is not my attitude towards you-but some employees need a kickback

    • Tkburns

I do not see the $4 airwick coupon on coupons dot com any more. If you still need it, you can go to airwick dotcom and sign up. It is still available there.

      • sharong

I went to airwick.com, but the $4 coupon is not there any more. The Lysol one was still available from lysol.com.

    • Meganclaycohen

its back free drink or candy!!! access via twitter, follow them and print! I love CVS.https://secure.ed4.net/cvs/enr

    • Hrhjackson

The M&M's are $1.97. Isn't there a coupon that also goes along with this? I thought I saw one and now I can not remember where.

    • The $4 airwick coupon is also available at homesolutionsnews dot com when you sign up, just to give another option :)

    • new2Q

all I keep getting out of the coupon machine is coupons for candy. I have only gotten 1 really good coupon & it was a $5 ECB. I don't buy candy when I go in there. I am getting frustrated with the print outs.

    • Amandaduvall07

Anyone know why i don't have some of the coupons she lists ie: Biore free wyb pore strips SS 3/6? I live in Al

      • Leticiag30

My SS didn't have Biore. I live in Memphis

      • Bamasaver

Coupons in the inserts are regional–not everyone gets the same coupons. Sometimes your insert won't have a coupon at all for a product listed and/or sometimes the coupon in your insert will be for a different value. When Jenny posts, I just always check my inserts to see which coupons I actually have & plan my scenarios accordingly.

    • ireneY

OMG… got a $4/20 from the magic coupon machine! I never get email Qs, just the piddly standard candy or CVS product discounts from that machine so it was a huge surprise! Maybe it was a consolation prize for not having any quarterly ECBs earned? It paired nicely with the Airwick deal. Hope you all get one, too!

      • Leticiag30

I have been using my card for weeks now and all I get is candy q's. My husband used his card once and he got $2.00 off from the red machine. Go figure!

      • itismedia

I am not sure what you are asking…The only thing I can think of is that you only received 5.00 in ecbs??? If you are asking why then what you need to look at is the limit placed on the ECB deals. Most are a limit one deal (like the Biore deal), but sometimes it is two. What I did was one cleaner (7.50) and one pore strip (7.50) – BOGO coupon and 2.00 coupon = 5.50. I had 5.00 in ECB's so I paid .50 and received 5.00 back in ECBs. This is a one time deal though. Is that what you were asking?

        • Leticiag30

Which q did you give the cashier first. B1G1 or the 2.00 q. ??? Today I tried to used both and the register didn't take it.

          • Anonymous

If I remember right I gave her the BOGO first. I did beep, but it just wanted her to enter the amount. Then the $$ off one. I do not notmally pay attention to which one. I have never had a problem before. It was just the only two coupons so I remember…kind of! I have mom brain tonight. =+)

    • Baby Shark

Help! Has anyone else been told that CVS no longer takes printed coupons? I was told this yesterday, but I wasn't sure it it was just my store or new CVS policy. I made sure it was All printed coupons, as none of mine were copies & I know there have been problems with people making copies. Clerk just said it was b/c they get fake coupons.

Also, can I combine ECB's on future purchases or do I have to use them all in separate transactions? (Ex. my ECB's are for .74, 1.99, & 10.00, can I use them together?)

      • cs

you can use the ecbs together in one transaction. ppl usually do more then one transaction to roll ecbs and to get the most for lesser out of pocket. As for the coupons they had no problem taking my printed ones and I have not heard a thing. I have friends and family that work for cvs and I am sure they would of told me if they had changed it.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Basically, some employees are just blowing it out of proportion and making things up as they go along. If you do not stand up for yourself, they simply continue to spread that nonsense. Next time, insist that you use your coupon because yours is not fake and you are not there to be hanged for other people crimes. There is no CVs policy and I dont see it happening. Millions of manuf. rely on internet marketing and such big retailers will not even be the last one to simply stop accepting coupons universally like that-It would be disaster for marketing as we know it.

    • I definitely dug the free bubbles and the super cheap pretzel m&ms this week….mmmm, I am SO addicted to those darn things! It was a fast trip but with my $10 ECB leftover from last week, I ended up spending only $3.34 for almost $50 worth of stuff. Yay! (Click the link on my name for detailed transaction info.) CVS rocks!

    • thriftymotherof3

Scanning my card today at the “red box” gave me two coupons for $2 off Dove Visible Care body wash which would make it $1 each!

      • Slgumm

I got this coupon too, and was so excited!! I usually just get candy coupons.

    • Kmrtiggers

I new at coupons. How do you get the bubbles free? I don't know what ECB AND WYB means. $1.99 ECB WYB Super Miracle Bubbles, 16 oz, $1.99 Limit 1.

      • Savingmommaof1

ECB=Extra Care Bucks, which is a coupon you get on the bottom of your receipt that you can use to purchase things in the store. Sort of like CVS money.

        WYB=When You Buy

So, when you buy the bubbles for $1.99, you will get a coupon (ECB) on the bottom of your receipt for $1.99, which makes it FREE :)

    • kittie

My CVS didn't have the Lysol Neutra Air on sale, and it wasn't pictured in the ad either. So the $4 coupon didn't go with what was actually on sale. I don't know if it was on sale at some CVSs, but not in Sumter, sC

      • Meganclaycohen

no its not in the picture on the ad but if you read the fine print it does include the lysol kit, i did it yesterday and it does work

    • Meganclaycohen

go like cvs on facebook and get free essence product, also check your email i was sent a free sponge when you get an essence product, and go follow cvs on twitter and get either free candy or a drink, awesome coupons

      • Guest

i don't see it! i just liked it..

      • 2girls1boy

Can I use the free sponge coupon and the free essence coupon together and pay only tax on both items? Or do I have to actually pay real money for an essence product to use the free sponge coupon? Hope my question makes sense.

        • Syndilew

I was wondering this exact same thing. Anyone got an answer?

          • Syndilew

Okay, I think that they will work together because the essence coupon is not stating “not to be combined with any other offer”.

          • anneconover

yes, I got both free – did this deal yesterday. I handed her the free sponge first which is probably why it worked.

    • guest

      I missed out on using some ecb's :( now i only have .50 again…

      • Snowski824

My store will take them for up to a week after they expire. You should call and check!

    • Guest

I am really happy just got free coupon too

    • Lissakayd

What happens if you, say, have (2) B1G1 coupons on an item…could you get two products for free (each b1g1 cancels the other item out?) or do you have to get 4 items, and get 4 for the price of 2? Just having a brain fart here while getting my coupons together and want to know if anyone has ever tried this?

      • Amy

With 2 b1g1 coupons, you need to purchase 4 items altogether. You can use 2 $/1 coupons or 1 $/2 coupons to bring the price down, though.
On the other hand, if the store has a product on sale b1g1, and you have a b1g1 coupon, they cancel each other out and you get both items free!

        • Lissakayd

Thanks Amy!!! I figured as much but just wanted to check! :)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

That would have been so much fun…. However, it is not that cosy. The coupon states “one coupon per purchase” which normally translates into “one identical coupon can be used on item and quanity specified on that coupon.”

    • Mlaurie406

Need quick help (running out the door in a minute here!) What zip did you use for the $4 off Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra starter kit? I can't find it :(

      • Mlaurie406

NM….I found it! Got all 3 and the spray, along with 2 russell eggs for NOTHING oop!! Yay! And 10.74 ECB's to use next time! Double Yay!

    • Christina

What if you have 2 B1G1 off the Airwick refills and 2 $1.50 off. Could you buy 4 airwick refills and be OOP $7 and get $10 ecb's?

      • Guest

Yes! I did this yesterday with the can refills and oil refills. I had a B1G1 for each type and a $1.50 Q for each type also. But, I made sure to give my $off coupons first because I had read where some people were having trouble when they gave the B1G1 coupon first.

        • CalicoKitty2000

I had an issue… was curious if anyone else had this same problem… I used a B1G1 man Q on the refills and a $1.50 man Q. She told me that I needed to purchase 3 items because the B1G1 applied to 2 items and I couldn't use the $1.50 unless I bought a 3rd one. I told her that I believed that it should work, that CVS wouldn't loose money because they are man Qs and CVS would get reimbursed for both of them. She told me that she would scan it and if the computer took it she would do it, but if it didn't she would not. The computer did not take it. She told me that she wouldn't take it because people have been loosing their jobs over coupons. I politely said I understood and asked if there was a manager that understood the coupon policy better. She got the manager and the manager put it through no problem. This frustrates me SO much. I go to CVS at the same time every week on Monday and get the same cashier… I really don't want to be going through this every week… :(

Anyone else have these issues? I really wish CVS would publish an official coupon policy…

          • Tonyadubose4268

Hey Calico, I work at cvs and people have been losing there jobs but that is because it taking major coupons for not the right stuff and bogus on, that we actually lose money on but when you have coupons like this use the dollar off then the bogo one or tell her to and it should work because I had a tooth brush bogo and a 2 dollar coupon and used both on two toothbrushes last week and the register took them no problem. Im sorry this happen to you, If this problem would happen again I would have a conversation with the manager that this happens every week. She is just scared but that shouldnt come before customer service.

            • CalicoKitty2000

Thank you for the feedback! :) Glad to know I was doing it right. :)

          • 2 serving HIm

I had this exact problem at Kroger last week on the same products. The cashier and Asst. Customer Service manager stated that the BIGI coupon was for two items as one transaction and another manufacturer coupon could not be used with it. This is not how Jenny expains this. The cashier allowed me to use the coupons “this time” but they were going to check Kroger policy. I am anxious to hear what they find out.

          • Mysterious_Mentalist

The other side is making a sound argument that b1g1 attaches to both items and thus both items are “locked.” However, here is the argument for you for next time. The b1g1 states “buy one”, so you are actually buying one on your normal course and in the process hap-pen to fulfill the condition for the b1g1 coupon. It is like as if you were using $5 off a $25 purchase. Just as you could use coupons to pay for $25 purchase, you will be partially paying for the item you are buying with the other $ off coupon. You got the idea-see if you can reword it better and educate people out there

            • CalicoKitty2000

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind! :)

          • Haers

I work for CVS, and the couponing is getting ridiculous, not only in my opinion, but many others. We do get reimbursed for manufacturers coupons. That's true. But, how many of a certain item do you really need? How did you survive before you found couponing with just ONE of each thing? If we scan the coupon and the register prompts us with a message saying it can't take the coupon, there's a reason for it. We DO get in trouble for the little things we try to do to keep the couponers happy. “Letting it slide” is getting us, the employee, reprimanded and sometimes fired. When we keep getting chewed out by ladies because their 35 cent coupon didn't go through, it's hard to keep up the cheery attitude. People are getting greedy, getting multiple CVS cards so they can get five of each item and get their extra bucks as well. Why do you need so many? Don't hoard items just to say how much you “saved” on the purchase. ONE CARD PER HOUSEHOLD. Not one for each person in your household under different phone numbers. Greedy. I know you can call a certain number and there are loopholes you can find to have several cards, that's awesome. But it isn't fair. That's all I'm saying.

And one more thing….I'm starting to get a few customers who will purchase an item and recieve extra bucks for the full amount they paid for said item, and then return the item a few days later and get their money back and still be able to keep the extra bucks. Tell me how that's fair. Please spread the word. I'm not on here to cut everyone down, but it's starting to get a little silly. And I know for a fact that I'm not the only CVS employee, or any other store out there, who thinks this. Be fair, to us and each other. Don't be greedy. Spread the word.

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

You have some reasonable rant there but the poster above has nothing to do with it. She was simply stating that she was doing a normal transaction that the employee herself made it so ridiculous and out of proportion.

I believe system and procedures take care of most what you said and if not, “system” can be adjusted (by CVS) to accommodate or remedy evolving situations

            • Anonymous

You have to give store credit back when you buy something and use extra bucks to purchase it. I have done it before (not on purpose but truly because I needed to return it) and the register freaks out and says you can give x amount back in a card, x amount back in cash, etc. So they are trying to safeguard things.

            • CalicoKitty2000

Ummmm…. okay…. I wasn’t trying to buy 50 of the same item… only 2…. I only have 1 ECB card as well. Not sure what I said lit a fire under your hiney, but I can say I am not trying to cheat the system. Just trying to use the coupons as the coupons allows. If you think couponing is so bad, why are you on this site?

And another thing… I just had my second child. I want to be a stay at home mom and one of the ways I was able to get our budget to where I could stay at home was couponing. I feel that Jenny’s site has been a blessing to me.

    • Kdc7703

when I went to cvs today they had the 3in1purex sheets for $4.

    • Slgumm

I had the best shopping trip today! I went to CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. Every cashier I had was super nice, and all of my coupons worked. At CVS, I spent $15.76 oop (that includes tax), and got back $13.73 ecb! I also got a coupon for $4/20 on my receipt, and the red box printed me out 2 $2 Dove body wash coupons! Best day ever!!

    • Samantha

I had an awesome trip today! I needed toothpaste and body wash so I was thrilled:)!
      Trans #1:
      Lysol Wipes X 2
      Lysol Toilet Cleaner X 2
Lysol Nutra Air Kit X 2
      Colgate 4.2 oz (BOGO) X 2
      coupons used:
      $1/2 Lysol Wipes, $1/2 Lysol Toilet, $4 Lysol Nutra Air Kit X 2, $1.50/colgate X2
used $10 ECB from previous week
Total: $3.74, got back $10 ECB and .50 ECB (no clue what this one was from)

      Trans #2:
      Dove Body Wash X 2
      Russel Stovers Egg X 1
      Bubbles X 1
      coupons used:
      $1 Dove X 2
used $10 ECB from previous transaction and .50 ECB
Total: $3.21, got back $6.73 ECB

I'm so mad, though, because I didn't notice the $2 off Dove Visible Body wash coupons, and I got two, that were at the bottom of my first receipt! GRRR! Would have been $3 off per each Dove Body Wash!! Oh well, still a great day:)!

      • Isu2014

Take the dove coupons back to CVS with your receipt and see if they can still apply them to your transaction. I would keep them on the dated receipt to prove you received them before purchasing the Dove in the other transaction! Hope they let you use them!

      • Pinkchick82686

usually they will apply the coupon if you go back the same day

    • Yugigi

There is $3/1 Schick Hydro 3 or 5 Razor on facebook page. It is good for b1g1 free in this week ad.

      • gardengirl

Thanks, I printed it the other day and forgot about it (it's was in the printed, not clipped pile LOL).

    • Rebirthcandles

My trip today wasn't as awesome as some posted here but today was really more to prove to my husband that I do save money with ECB. He came with me and I let him see the total and pay the cashier so h could see the difference.

      2 Maxwell House $5
      4 Mentos gum @ $1 each (- $1/3 cp & -0.35 cp)
      1 Airwick Freshmates Kit $6 (-$4 cp)
2 Lysol Nutrair Kits @ $6 each (-$4 cp off each)
      2 M&M Speckled Eggs @ $1.97 each (-$1/2 cp)
      1 M&M Milk Choc @$1.97
      1 M&M peanut @ $1.97 (-$1/2 cp)
2 Airwick Freshmatic Refills @ $5 each (bogo free cp)

Redbox gave me my winter rewards Sat….$5.50

$23.37 oop and $10 ECB for next trip

      He was impressed…lol

    • Happy Feet

where is the $4 off AirWick coupon? I can't see it… which area code?

      • sharong

I couldn’t find it anymore at http://www.coupons.com either, but I was just now able to print the Lysol and the AirWick $4 coupons from homesolutionnews.com. Yah!!!

      • Rebirthcandles

Go to the scenario up above mentioning them and click on the link.

      • Jparker142

        • Sabrinaleesweet

i typed in this area code and could only find a coupon for 2.00 off

    • pitterpat

Are the coupons that spit out of the magic red box considered store coupons? Can I stack it with my manf coupon out of the paper? I got a $5 off Allegra – plus manf. of $2 off that I got off of the coupon pad at the pharmacy. Can I use them together?

      • kpswagger

The red box coupons are store coupons!

    • learning2coupon

I'm new to couponing. I didn't do as well as I hoped my first trip but very pleased with my 2nd trip.

      Sat 4/9/11 CVS Trip
      (last week sale)Charmin Ultra 5.49 (.25 coupon)
(last week sale) 2 Garnier HerbaShine 10.98 (used 2 $3 off coupons)
      gallon of milk=2.99
oreos=$3(used $1 off oroes when you buy a gallon of milk)
      chips ahoy=$3
      3 special k cereal bars $10 ($2 off 3 specail k products)
      4 airwick freshmatic kits $24 (4-$4 coupons)
Also had a 4 off 20 coupon and $2 ECB from last week

      OOP 32.83 & got $15 ECB back

      Today 4/11/11 CVS trip
      Easter funsize Snickers bag $2.50
Easter funsize Twix bag $2.50 ( $2 off 2 mars coupon)
      2 packs of 5 gum coupon ($1 off 2)
      Russel Stover egg .74
      3 special k cereal bars $10 ($2 off 3 specail k products)
      Xtra $1.49
      used $14 ECB

      OOP 1.97 & got $4.74ECB back

      • Reason your first transaction was so high is because you had too much in that transaction.

I would of used the $4/$20 and bought…
        Air wick $6 (x4) = $24
        -$4 (4) man qs
pay $4 got back $10 ecbs

then rolled it from there. the smaller the transactions (and if you can work it right way), the object is the pay less OOP (out of pocket) instead of a big amount like $32.83

    • Maimaie

I always stop by CVS before running to Publix just to scan my card and see what coupons I get. Then I go home and plan my CVS trip. (Lucky for me there aren't too many couponers in my city so I can wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to do my CVS shopping trips.)

To the point! I got a $4 off $20 purchase, $5 ECB from my beauty purchases, and $1 off easter candy! I can't wait for this trip.

      • Coupongal18

Lucky you! I NEVER get the good coupons at CVS – I always get the candy ones for $0.25 off or something like that!!!!! :)

        • Maimaie

I think I spoke too soon! I went to TWO different CVS and neither one had the AirWick Freshmatic Kit, now I have to re-group, again :(

I usually just get the crappy 25 cents off candy coupons. I don't even eat candy! Moral of the story, just keep trying, eventually you'll get a good one!

          • Lknow68

The air wick ultra is on sale at Publix and there are coupns to use a publix and manufacturer (better deal for me).. making it an overage. I got that and zyrtec for overage at publix.. Brought my total saved to $123 at Publix this week.

            • laura

Where did you find the Publix coupon at?

            • gardengirl

It's in the One Stop, One Store q booklet that came out a few weeks ago. Your store may still have some, I got one this weekend.

    • Quirozm98

I have a question regarding last weeks cvs slaes? The dawn soaps were on sale for .99 cents and i had a coupon for a dollar off any size. When e cashier scanned the coupon, the register didn't accept it. I was told it was bc my coupon was for a penny more than the sale price. Can someone explain why they wouldnt accept it if they are getting paid the full amount of the coupon by the manufacturer. Does thhis happen at cvs stores only? Or should my store have accepted the coupon? Thanks so much. I'm new to this, so im sorry if this has been explained a million times. Thanks!

      • Tonyadubose4268

Hey Quirozm98, Did you buy it with something else? I work for cvs and I have used a coupon myself like that and if you buy something little w the dawn it has taken off. Its according to the register because when u just use it by itself it will kick it out bc it will have a negative balance and the register gets confused. I hope this helps out a little.

        • Quirozm98

I did buy it with other items so im not sure why it didnt take? But i do appreciate your reply. :). I tried loking at cvs coupon policy and didnt find an answer. Anyone else know?

          • Maimaie

I've had similar things happen with me. Usually if it's just a few cents (like your example) the register will take the coupon, however usually when I present a coupon that is more than the product the register will beep. When this happens the cashier can either manually enter the amount shown on the coupon, or what usually happens in my case the cashier will reduce the amount of the coupon to match the value of the item. Either way they should accept the coupon. Next time just ask if they can reduce the amount of the coupon. If they say no just tell them you don't want the item… try not to get frustrated.

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is not quite true. Even if you buy other items in the transaction, register will not allow coupon “overage” applied to other non-specified items IF the card is scanned at the very beginning of the transaction. “Overage” will go through if you scan your card anytime BUT the very first scan. You work at CVS-try it. Or you just got to believe me wholeheartedly what I am saying.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

That has been discussed several times. I can only describe what how it happens technically and in register logic. I am pretty sure you scanned your card at the very beginning. By doing so, the register reads the sale price of the item, 99 cents in this case. The employee said it right it was a penny over. However, it is pretty much a routine-The coupon price should have been adjusted down to 99 cents. I cant think of any reason an employee, let alone CVS employee would just shove the coupon back to you; except that the employee might been brand new and/or less smart. In such scenario, coupon does not go thru without pushing it manually and overage does not apply

Or else, next time, just dont scan the card very first in a transaction. For example, you could have simply scanned the Dawn first, and then scan your card. That way, coupon will NOT bee and will go thru. And of that was the only item you purchased, then the receipt subtotal field will show -.01 balance that will apply to tax. Or if you have other items, the coupon will reduce the amount by 1 penny. This is because, by scanning your card after the item, the register still reads the original price for subtotal purposes and takes out discount at the end. Basically, you the register still has the original price in its memory for the subtotal field.

I got great coupons at the red box today! $2 off Dove visible care body wash…and two of them printed off! Plus $1 off new Carefree body shape pantiliners. I checked and the smallest package is $1.57 at my CVS in Harrisonburg, VA so stacked with $.50/1 from SS 3/27 and they're only $.07! I reworked my scenarios to get two body washes thanks to the new coupons.
      Trans 1:
      3 boxes Special K red berries 10.00
      1 Biore pore strips 7.50
      1 Biore cleanser 7.50
Used $2/3 Special K, $2/1 Biore, BOGO Biore, $13 ECB
OOP: $.50 plus tax, got back $9 ECB

      Trans 2:
2 Dove visible care body wash 12.00
      1 Russell Stover egg .74
      Used 2 $2 CVS Dove q, 2 $1/1 Dove q, $5 ECB
OOP: $1.74 plus tax, got back $4.74 ECB

Jenny, I am thrilled to have found your site…I recently became a thrift store junky and couponing is my next thrill of the hunt…thank you for the tips!!!

    • Jennifer

Each week I am reminded how much I love CVS and why!!! First off all our local cvs stores have THE BEST employees! When I came in the girl was friendly, but I noticed she didn't seem to feel well. She still helped me find items, found out about one item that didn't ring up correctly, was super friendly. Upon talking to her I found out she was having migraines and wasn't feeling well (I asked, she was totally one of those people who tried to stay upbeat when she didn't feel well). All that to say I love CVS employees!

Also I love CVS deals. I got the free Russel's stovers egg and the two free snickers eggs ($1/2 mars easter candy coupons 4/10/11 RP). I was only expecting the .74 ecb from RS egg and to my surprise recieved a coupon for $4/$20 which was exactly what I was about to spend on Finish/Lysol products!! I started out my trip a little bummed because I only had $1.75 to put toward that deal and ended up w/ the extra $4 off! So for under $16 after taxes I got 5 boxes of Finish dish washing detergent tabs, 2 lysol toliet bowl cleaners (both items we were almost out off) and 2 snickers eggs and 1 russel stovers egg and still have $10 in ECBs!!! So it's like getting all of that for only $6 :) Love it! Sorry so long…just got excited

      Got $7 ECB
      Also printed on receipt $4/$20

From red box – $5 allegra, $4 off allegra, $1 off Hershey, .25 off candy bar

      A GREAT CVS trip!

      • alainafaith

Where did you get the $1/1 Revlon Color Cosmetic Qs?

      • Ingriddeal

Wow! Great deal! Where did you find the Gain coupon? I know I had one recently, but can't find it now!

Can someone tell me the best place to buy Easter Candy. I saw something listed on great Easter Candy deals Sat. or Sun. but now can't find it.

      • guest

        Hi D-

Got my Easter candy this past Saturday at Riteaid. They had a sale buy $20 get $10 in ups.

    • Jennscaffeinated

I haven't seen anyone say they got this yet, but I got a $2 off Dove Visible Care Body Wash from the printer in the store. It actually printed it twice! That made the washes $1 each.

      • laura

I got two of them too and with my ECB, those coupons plus two more I can get two for a dollar a piece!

      • Caroline

I got those yesterday! I used both of them and 2 $1 off coupons from the paper a few weeks ago. Did your second coupon beep? The cashier was as confused as I was and at the same time we said, “But there are two there.” So she pushed it through.

    • Katietascrn

There are more Kellogg’s coupons, including a $0.70 off Raisin Bran at:

    • I had a problem last night at CVS, and I wanted to get some feedback about the issue. I had two coupons and 3 bags of M&M candies. First coupon was a B2G1 free, which i was using with one bag. The Second Coupon was $2/2, which I was using for the other 2 bags. The young girl refused to ring up my coupons, stating that both coupons had to be used with the two bags. I tried to explain to her that the B2G1 free went with the free bag, but she was adamant that it didn't work that way. I have done this same scenario several times at several different stores, so I know it works. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone see where I possibly went wrong?

      • DianaY19

You would have needed to buy 4 bags..not 3. One coupone was buy 2 get 1 free and the other was buy 2 get $2 off. If the $2/2 would have been $1 off of one then it would have worked because you would have used the $1 off on the “free” one from the b2g1. It doesn't matter the amount off you still have to buy the required number of bags.

        • guest

          I'm still not understanding why it doesn't work. If you have a b1g1 q a $1/1 q, it works, so why not a b2g1 q and a $2/2 q? I think it should have worked…

          • Renny

It should have worked, but sometimes cashiers do not understand.

            • guest

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too!!

            • Mel

The issue is not the B2G1 and the $2/2. The issue is that there are 3 bags and all 3 have to be present to use the first coupon. All Manufacturers coupons say “Cannot be combined with any other Manufacturer's coupons” so the $2 off 2 cannot be used with it–2 manu coupons on the same product. The difference with the normal procedure-B1G1 and $ off coupon is that the B1G1 is the CVS sale and the $ off is the Manufacturer's coupons, which CAN be combined. (one store, one manu per item)

            • guest

She didn't say anything about a b1g1 sale, I was comparing using a b1g1 q with a $1/1 q to a b2g1 q and a $2/2 q. When you buy 2 items and use a b1g1 q, it attaches to the free item. Then you can use a $1 off q to attach to the one you are paying for. In her scenario, she is buying 3 items, the b2g1 q attaches to the free item and the $2/2 q should attach to the 2 she is paying for. This is how I am understanding it.

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

No, you also misunderstood her post. She is not talking about store sale, both Qs are manuferes

            • I'm sure it would have worked, if the cashier would have scanned the coupons. She absolutely refused to scan them both.

          • aims005

it didn't work because it was a B2G1 NOT b1g1… you had to pay for 2 bags to get the one for free. there for you have already used a manufater coupon on those two bags so you can' t use another one for it. HAD the OTHER coupon been a $1/1 it would have gone toward your 3 and “free” bag but it was a $2/2 so you needed a forth bag so that you would have another bag that a manf. coupon was not already used on.

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

I think you are misunderstanding what is being said here and you are actually contradicting yourself

      • Renny

You're right, the B2G1 free applies to the one free bag & the 2.00/2 applies to the 2 you are not getting for free. Should have worked. If you give them in this order, they will usually work just fine…the b2g1 first & then the 2.00/2, which you may have done, idk. Good luck. I'd just try a different cashier or store.

      • Denissalloyd

where are the b2g1 free q's at plz!! :) Thanks

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

There is argument that b1g1 or b2g1 manuf Qs attach to the item quantities mentioned in the coupon and thus no other coupons can be used on that “quantity.” P&G recently started printing in red ink something like “one coupon per purchase of item and QUANTITIES” mentioned in coupon. It still does not clarify if the restriction is for identical coupons. Meaning, they have not clarified if we can still use $ off Qs with b1g1 Qs together on the same quantities since $ off and b1g1 Qs are not identical.

There is counter argument to this. Coupon #1 sets a condition to buy 2 of those items, and then the third will get you to use the coupon #1. Moving along, you are still “buying” item #1&2 and thus you will go ahead and use Coupon #2 to pay partially for those two items because Coupon #2 states $ off when you “buy” 2 of those items. Whereas, coupon #1 is simply setting a 'condition” to use that coupon on a “free” item.

It is debatable if coupon #1 will also “lock in” item #1&2.

Also note that two coupons are not identical. If manufacturer did not want us to use the combo of those two coupons to our advantage, then they would clearly state, as they do now on Ensure drinks coupons, something like “one coupon per transaction.”

      • I posted this in 2 different CVS threads, and I've gotten 10 different people's responses. I've now been told that i should have bought 3, 4, and even 5 bags of M&M's to use the coupons. I may not be clear on this particular scenario, but it is crystal clear that none of us really know. We've all got opinions, and opinions seem to be the rule of coupons. Using coupons is like a game of poker. You use some skill in knowing which cards (ie. coupons) to hold on to, but it's the luck of the draw which cashier you're going to get. If you get a cashier who has an inclination to use the coupons, they will let you. If you get of a cashier who has the inclination to NOT use the coupons, they wont let you. Thanks so much for your feedback on this. I'll try again on Saturday with a different cashier and let you all know how it goes.

        • Dollface5304

Always hand the cashier the $ off coupon first….then give them the b2g1 coupon. It makes more sense to me and I'm sure others. This has always worked for me. Purchase three bags…give $2/2 Q. At this point you have merely gotten $1 off the price off each bag. Now give the cashier the B2G1 free Q. The third bag will be free. All in all you still paid for two bags….you just got them at a discounted price! The coupon says buy 2, it does not say that you could not use another coupon to make the 2 bags you have to buy cheaper. You are not using your $2 off on your free bag….but the full price bags! :) Hope this makes sense to you and helps you in the future! :)

      • Gatorginger

You should have been able to use both like you said because the first coupon gave you one free but you were buying two so the second coupon should have applied to the two you were buying at least that is what I believe to be correct

    • Maggie

Ticked because when I sign into Kellogg's website, I get a system error…Won't let me print coupons… :(

      • Kathy

I just printed coupons from Kelloggs website and didn't have any problems.

    • Denissalloyd

where are the b2g1 free q's at plz!! :) Thanks

If you “like” Bic Soleil on facebook, you can get a $3 coupon. I tried it on the Bic razors that have ECBs this week–it worked with no problem. So I got them for $3.99 with 3 ECBs back.

      • Twinmomaaa

Thanks for the tip! Worked for me today!

    • Lora

I had a wonderful CVS Trip today. I ended up with $104.57 worth of products for only $7.60. A savings of 92.8%. I also left with $4 in ECB to go towards next week. Whoohooo…

      • Leticiag30

Would you tell us what you bought and what q's you used.

    • money saver

can i use a target coupon at cvs? and what is a good price on paper towels?

      • Tonyadubose4268

No the only coupons you can use is manafactor and cvs coupons.

        • Danyeln

Actually you might want to ask at your store what they take. I rotate between 3 different stores and one has up signs that say “Sorry as of (date) we are only accpeting Walgreens and Rite Aid coupons as competitors”

    • Ginger

HEADS UP, PEOPLE, check your email! CVS wants your opinion on Sunday, and they're offering 10 ECBs for it. Yaaaaay! (At least, I assume they want your opinion– they want mine…) :) :) :) Happy day!

      • DebTN

They don't want my opinion. :(

        • Ginger

Awwww, sorry. :( :( :( Got a little too enthusiastic.
I missed out on the last one, so I guess you win some and lose some.

      • Rwagner10

I just remembered while lying in bed at 1:00 am that I hadn't gotten the $10 ECBs from Sunday. So I got out of bed to check my emails and there was nothing there. Was this random or did I just work so hard on my purchases from last week (made a killing) that I forgot about something??? Sleepless in Summerville

    • Annieven

Does anyone know if the Kelloggs cereal deal is really limited to 1 deal per card like the ad says? I purchased my 3 cereals yesterday and received my extra bucks BUT the receipt did NOT say “limit reached” like it normally does. (Sometimes I've seen the limit being higher than the ad states.) Thanks!

      • joanna00

This is actually a month-long deal. It is not a limit of 1 because my receipt said the same thing (Needed for Reward: 3). Happy shopping!

    • savingmom

does anyone know if there are any printable fuze coupons

      • There aren't any out right now.

    • Courtney

Does anyone know if the Special K protien bars are included in the ECB deal at $3.33? I went in to grab some yesterday but ended up getting the regular cereal bars by accident.

    • rw5524

I am going to CVS today to get the Clean & Clear Body Wash deal from a couple of weeks ago. (I hope. they have been out for weeks now!) I got a rain check. I plan on getting 4 body washes and use 2 BOGO q's and (2) 2.00 off q's. Should I hand the cashier the BOGO's first or the $$ off q's. I had a similar scenario for toothbrushes a couple of weeks ago where I bought 2 items and used a BOGO and a $1 off q and the cashier said I could not use both because I was getting one of them free. Do I need to hand them to get in a certain order? and how do I explain to her that I can use the BOGO's and $$ off.

      • Conniermorse

go to another CVS, we have one near our home that the cashier is not very nice and never wants to do anything that causes her to think…I simply go to another CVS.

        • Syndilew

I always hand the dollar off one first just so there is no confusion.

    • Britnee64

im wondering if the clean & clear body wash will go on sale for cheaper then the $5 its at now? I wanna use my coupons but id have to kick myself if it went on sale for like $4 next week…

      • it was 2.99 a few weeks back

    • emerson

i was out of town this weekend and used a cvs in natchez ms well it was awful. I bought 3 right guard clinical deo at 4.89 on clearance,1 old spice clinical deo at 4.89 on clearance and a bodywash, i also had a raincheck for the clean and clear body wash well after she checked me out i remembered to hand the raincheck to her and boy did she complain she said i caused her 4 voids and i appoligized well then my total is 19.97 with tax i had the total around 12.00 and she said all your coupons went through so iwent to car and checked and the two 2.00 off for clean and clear didnt ring up.Back to the register and she said no you only gave me one then she checked and said here they are and i showed her she had two i needed a couple of dollars to use a 5/40 and she wouldnt let me ad it cause it was the end of the transaction im returning the clean and clear cause i used ecbs for the deo to be half off with other coupons too.

      • sounds awful! i hope your future cvs adventures go better.

    • Kelly

I have two coupons for covergirl cosmetics
if I buy two covergirl items, can i use both the coupons…..

      • DebTN

No, the first coupon “attaches” to both products so you would have to buy a third product to use the $1/1.

    • Jojosnchz

I am not sure if it's only at the CVS I shop at but I purchased the Airwick @ $5 used my $4 off and paid $1 for each. So I bought 4 and it was the best deal ever. Got the 10 ECB's back.

      • Britnee64

lucky you! most places they are $6…

      • Themartins55

I did the same!!! It was GREAT!

    • Nathanandjessecollins

I see in the CVS ad that they have gillette disposable razors b1 get one 50% off. I have b1 g1 free coupons. Can I use these with the sale deal and if so, how does work?

      • tina

you can use the coupon but it wont help with the sale that they have on right now because the one you would get 50% off would be free with your coupon

    • Kkarnes32

does anyone know if you can use a $4 off $20 and the 25% off your purcahse of up to $99 in the same transaction? That would make a killer deal with other coupons.

      • kpswagger

Yes, you sure can! But the % coupon usually only takes off of regular price items.

    • couponlvr

Had a great CVS trip on my lunch break today. I bought 3 boxes of the Kelloggs cereal @ $1.66 ea, 6 tubes of the Colgate toothpaste b1g1, and a candy bar for $1.46 OOP. I had my trip planned differently, but of course they were out of some items. I used 2 $1.50 colgate coupons, 2 $1.00 colgate coupons, and $10 in extra bucks. I probably would have just gotten more toothpaste with more coupons because I originally only had 4 tubes of toothpaste and the cereal but once she took off my coupons, I had less than $10. So I just grabbed two more colgates and a candy bar to bring the total up. I didn't have the rest of my colgate coupons in the store with me since I just ran in on my lunch break. I was very excited about how much I got for so little though.

    • Bayandtaysmom

Does anyone have the Garnier Moisturizer coupons from RR 2/06 and 3/06??? I missed these papers due to the fact my child was in and out of the hospital. Plus I get lots of diaper and wipe coupons that I don't use since I am out of that stage. I would be glad to mail them out.

      • Heather

For some reason I don't have either of those coupons???? But I would sure love to swap with you for the diaper and wipe coupons. We are about to have 2 in diapers.

        • Bayandtaysmom

Sure no problem. Email me at bayandtaysmom@yahoo.com and give me your mailing info. Let me know if there is a certain brand you like or if you just want ALL diaper & wipe or any baby item coupons!!!

    • CVS sent a $4 off $20 coupon. This makes the $10 ECB for $20 Glade/Lysol/Finish products even sweeter :)

    • Bridget

      I have several Airwick coupons
      3 – 1$ for twin refills,
      1 – 4$ for Freshmatic starter kit
1 – 2$ for Freshmatic compact odor detect starter kit
3 – coupons for Free warmer units with purchase of scented oil refill fragrance
Can I use these on the Airwick deals, can I use the odor detect starter kit for the item in the circular? Also, will I be able to use the 3 coupons for the warmer units if I purchase the 3 twin refills? I don't have any ECB's yet, I am trying to understand it.
How do I go about presenting my coupons to CVS in order to get the best deals,
coupons first, then my card…or vice versa…
I know sale ends tomorrow, but am praying I can still find some deals.

    • KCoral15

The Always Infinity pads were on sale for 3.99 and 1ecb back… pair with the $2q from the p&g insert and they're only .99 cents… only limit 1 though
