Does anyone know if you can have more than one green bag tag linked to a single CVS card? I typically have two transactions each time I go and I know they can only scan your green bag tag once each day. I was just thinking, since they are free this week, that if I could have two bag tags going at the same time on the same card, I could get more extra care bucks that way, if it is possible.

      • To my knowledge all Bag Tags have the same bar code on the back of them so having mutiple would really be having the same card and won't work.

        • I got mine last week! :( But, do I need to actually register it to my account/card??

          • Taylor

DeeDee, no you don't register it to a card. You simply bring in a bag (any bag) with the tag attached. The cashier has to scan at least one item that you are buying BEFORE they scan the tag, or the computer thinks you are buying the tag. Most cashiers know this and scan the tag in the middle/end. Your card keeps track of the fact you had a green tag scanned; it doesn't matter if you use your green tag, or mine, or Jenny's. =) They all have the same coding on them. Hope this helps!

      • kelly1369

I was told that the green bag attaches to your CVS card and so you could only have one.

        • Erin

Nope. I lost mine and had to repurchase. Worked fine–picked right up where my other one left off.

        • WynetteC

I bought two when they first began all of this green tag stuff and whichever bag I happened to grab that had a green tag I would use it. My daughter has checked out right after I have, and I let her use the green tag right after I did. No problem there either.

          • nichole7

I have several different bags but only one bag tag, which is attached to one of the bags. I don't always have that bag with me depending on which vehicle I am in. I am going to to ahead & get the “free” one this week so I'll always have one of them with me.

            • Ashley

Just attach it to your keyring through the tag's hole. Mine was secure on my bag, but it ended up falling off after all. No need to buy another one.

            • ziggy34434

I actually stapled mine to my extracare card. Now I never forget it.

    • kelly1369

I did the Nivea last week – does anyone know if I can do it again this week too? (and still get ECB's)

      • as long as it is a weekly deal, not a month long deal.

        • 6kids4me

How do we know if it is a weekly or month long deal?

          • 6kids4me

I was in to CVS yesterday. They did let me do the Nivea deal again this week even though I did it last week.

    • Jana Lee

Is anyone else having trouble with the Thermacare website? I fill out the information, it takes me to the “print coupon” page and then it sits and sits and sits and then says timeout expired.

      • Sarah

Did the same to me….no luck. :( That's a great deal I don't want to miss out on.

      • kellyjoy24

I got a thermacare coupon in my 1/31/10 RP- expires 4/30- not sure if all areas got one.

        • Tiffany

I don't think the Thermacare from 1/31RP is a match since it is for a 2ct or larger and the one on sale is the 1ct. Bummer!

          • Momof3Ts

I didn't realize that the Q was for a 2ct when I bought the Thermacare product, but CVS still took my Q anyway.

      • AnttBee

Did the same thing to me :(

      • moms_coupons

Mine sat…and sat…turned my printer off and back on again, and it printed. Don't know if it'll work for everyone, but it's worth a try!

      • LD

The Weyth website has lots of problems from time to time. Give it a try later on . Sometimes i have seen it like that for days and its Fri hope there tech works late lol

      • Yes I am having the same trouble now

      • Lynn

Yes, and I just e-mailed them about it.

      • Courtney

I had the same issue and called ThermaCare. The lady I talked to was going to put a coupon in the mail for me and told me that when that error comes up, it typically means there is some maintenance happening on the site. I'm going to try again tomorrow and see if it works then

        • spencersseven

What number did you use to call Wyeth? I didn't find one listed on their website.

          • Courtney

            800-323-3383 Monday-Friday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM EST.

      • carolgoss

couldn't print that thermacare coupon either

      • HTHRH

Mine did the same thing… UGH!!

Same problem that i am having…only have so much time to fill out the information form over and over again for the same error message to appear.

        • mkcuz

I had problems too, but it worked fine for me today – Tuesday!

    • kdhproc

Couldn't get Thermacare or Advil coupons from Wyeth to print. I registered both and tried several times but kept saying it timed out.

      • krafty

Same here. Tried to get the Advil coupon but it said “timed out.” How disheartening.

      • meldeb3k

Yeah, same here. I thought it might be my browser, but switched to another, still, no go!

      • acpack

Wanted to make sure that y'all knew the ThermaCare coupons are working now…

    • Kazzy

Thermacare would not print,I called customer service and they are mailing me a coupon, no doubt to arrive AFTER the sale. They were very friendly though.

    • renep22

I signed up on the CVS photo website and the first 50 digital prints are free. Just register your extra care card and at the check out mark that you would like it taken out of 50 print credit. I love CVS!

    • janae

Did anyone get an extracare coupon for $5.00 off the purchace of any two revlon cosmetics? can I use that with 2 man q for the revlon deal?

      • LD

At any cvs I have gone too you can combine cvs and manuf coupons. And according to Customer service you can HTH

      • Nikkoljay

I got that coupon for $5 off Revlon purchase and with the new $3 off new Colorburst lipstick (I printed 2 directly from the Revlon website) plus the $3 ECB you get when your purchase $10 of product, I think I can make into a pretty sweet deal!

    • Michelle

I couldn't get the Thermacare or the Dove deodorant coupons to print. :(

      • Nikkoljay

My Dove coupons would not print either although it took me to the printing page like it was printing. I probably won't be able to go back and try though because it will probably register that I have already printed my maximum allowable coupons. Bummer, but I'm still gonna try :-)

      • Marina115

I just printed mine. Maybe it reset or maybe you could try a different browser. HTH

      • Jennifer

I think you dont need to worry about the Dove coupon, because it is not for the sale Dove deodorants.

    • AKellyinVA

For your $1 off any CVS paper product Q…I go to 3 CVS stores. Only one of those stores still carries the 4 pack of SINGLE roll toilet paper that rings up at $1. These are not the 4 double roll packs; those are priced at $3.49, I think. You may be fortunate enough to still have those at your CVS, so keep your eyes open for some free TP ;)

      • Use it this week for 2 single rolls TP free. they are 2 for $1.00.

        • GAmeg

Too funny – I've done this deal every day this week, and scanned my green bag tag, got 10 rolls free this week!

          • chrystalm

Is the tp very soft? I've never tried the store brand before. I have about 4 coupons that are ready to expire.

            • amyTindiana

No, it's actually pretty awful. But it's free!

            • Carrie

I thought they might be awful so I spend my coupon on the paper towels and get a roll for $.29. I price checked it to what I normally get and the CVS for $.29 is cheaper per towel than my regular brand. I think they are decent quality – especially for the price.

            • Toni

I like the paper towels also. Their tissues are good also and are on sale for 99cents this week.

            • BeverlyB

I haven't tried it personally, but I'm already well stocked on name brand TP and didn't want to try it. I gave all my freebies away to the downtown Rescue Mission. They're always grateful for donations and don't care!

            • AKellyinVA

The 4 single roll pack is very decent TP. I wouldn't buy that single roll because it looks like that cheap stuff. The packs I got for free were comparable to WalMarts cheap 6-roll packs. I'd recommend it though we prefer White Cloud or Northern.

    • LD

Looks like the hersheys is going to give me a headache this week. lol trying to figure out the best deal with the b1g1 and i got a cvs coupon for hersheys too from the kiosk last week lol

      • tchuki

these are the coupons I found at my local supermarket they are manufacturer coupons:
b2g1 free for any Hersheys candy bags
b2g1 free for pieces candy bags
        b2g1 free for 6-packs
        b2g1 forbliss candy bags

    • I had no idea what a Green Bag Tag was, so I googled it. It looks like a pretty good deal! Does anyone else have one?

      • Got mine LAST week!! :( Should've waited till this week… oh well.

        • Jessica

          i know, same here!!!

          • elisa

            Me too!

      • bonnie

I've had one for a while. It is a very good deal. Just make sure to bring your reusable bag with you. I keep one in the car so I won't forget.

      • amylaurenscott

I have one :). I've already gotten like $2 ECB from it and only had a few weeks. It's a big help because it helps me remember my reusable bag and I use the bag at other stores too.

      • I just wrote a post about it, and how to use it etc. if you want to go check it out!

I LOVE my Green Bag Tag, it's like a little taste of Christmas every week! (because with the way I shop at CVS, I can easily get 4 visits in LOL)

      • Lisa

I have had my green bag tag for awhile now. And I have made at least $8 dollars on it so far. It is an AWESOME deal! (Especially for all those people who make multiple CVS trips during the week.) :)

      • JenH

I've had mine a long time and have got $1 ECB a few times. Sometimes they forget to scan it, so make sure and remind them.

      • dianebenatar

I've had one for ages. I keep it on my 'little green bag' with my coupons inside. That way, I NEVER forget it!

      • Margaret

The trick is 1. Remembering to bring your reusable bag in the car, 2. Remembering to bring it into the store, 3. Remembering to have them use it and scan it while your brain is busy trying to sort through your stack of coupons. Since I don't use reusable bags on a regular basis, I've had several times where I actually remembered to bring it with me into the store and then just kept it tucked under my arm during checkout!

        • christie1225

You can still use the green bag tag if you forget your bag; I keep mine in my wallet. So if I do not have a bag I just carry the stuff without a bage. you could use the buggy if you wanted.

          • TraceyGA

I must have a strict CVS because they will not scan the tag if you don't have a reusable bag. lol.

            • Frugal-J

I had the same problem with my local CVS drugstore however I went to the CVS website and looked up the rules to get credit using a Green Bag Tag. You should be able to get credit if you 1. use a re-usable bag, 2. use a bag from a previous purchase at the store or 3. you can simply carry out the items and refuse a plastic bag. I printed this and gave it to the store manager and he gave me a credit for not using any bags. I brought one for just in case. I also wrote an email to CVS customers relations asking for clarification and they told me that I should get credit if I refuse a plastic bag and carry out my purchased items.

        • I actually carry a tote purse with my coupon binder in it- fits nicely, and I stuff my reusable bag in there too.
On the off chance I forgot it at home, I simply take my coupon binder out of my big tote purse and tell them to put it in there. If you are buying a small amount of items, your hands can become your reusable bag- seriously! The point of the GBT is to NOT use new plastic bags.
As far as the actual scanning of the GBT- I don't put mine on my reusable bag- I looped it around my infamous keychain of loyalty cards (I have a separate keychain with home/car keys- my DH says all my cards look 'tacky' LOL), which actually makes finding my keychain a lot easier! My CVS card is on there, so there's no way you can miss it!

HTH you or anyone else with this problem!! :D

    • Holly

Somewhere I have seen a $1 off 4 Bumble Tuna coupon printable. That would make a better deal on the Tuna

      • Jen

I printed one about a month ago when they were on sale at Walgreen's and didn't use it. I was able to use it today. 5 cans of tuna for 50 cents. Great Deal.

    • Susan

there are 3 $5/1 Olay regenerist coupons in the P&G $100 of savings! Makes for a MUCH sweeter deal with the rebate!

      • paige

where can i get the P&G savings booklet?

    • Susan

Oops I meant year of savings coupon book, I have several ECBs from this week!

    • sixsigmamom

Can we use the Free Rimmel product with the B1G1 sale to get two for free? I had a cashier balk at this one time.

      • Jolee

wondering the same thing, does anyone know?

      • Carrie

If you're talking about the Free Rimmel coupon in this month's All You, as long as your CVS will accept the coupon even though it has the Wal-Mart name on it, you whould be able to get two for free.

      • sixsigmamom

My coupon doesn't say Walmart on it. I WAS able to use it with the sale tonight. The coupon is for up to $5 and their blush is $4.99 so I got two for free!

        • Jolee

Just did it and it worked for me too!!! LOVE free makeup!

    • I think I might be missing something. I CANNOT for the life of me find the $5 off Rimmel coupon in my April All You.

      • Susan

I found it on page 20. HTH

      • Susan

Actually, the ad on page 20 is BOGO Rimmel. The only $5.00 coupon I have in my magazine is for NYC on page 34. Sorry for the confusion.

        • My page 20 only has an ad. No coupon. Oh well.

        • Carrie

The BOGO Rimmel is in the subscription versions only, not the store-bought ones.

      • sarah05

I think there are coupon variations between the subscription version and the in-story version. I know I got it in my subscription copy. Hope that helps!

        • Sarah

          I mean 'in-store' version. I can't type!

    • Benjamin

Question…if it's a Limit 2, can you buy two in the same transaction and get two ECB back?

      • you can buy them together or seperately it doesn't matter at CVS.

      • Shannon

You won't get 2 ECB back, you'll get one with double the ECB amount – for example, if you were supposed to get $5 ECB with each item and you buy 2 (and the limit is 2 or more), you will get $10 ECB if you buy them in the same transaction. If you don't want ECB that high, then just purchase them in separate transactions.

        • Benjamin

Thanks…two more questions. If you do two separate deals that have ECB in the same transaction (for instance, the ThermaCare and the GreenTag), do the ECB print separately or as one lump sum?

Second, is it CVS or Wags (or both?) that has the no-more-coupons-than-items rule?

          • Lori

          • Margaret

If the items are different and are listed separately on Jenny's list, then they will print out as separate ECB coupons. If you are getting multiples of the same deal (assuming the limit is more than 1) in the same transaction, then they will be combined into one higher ECB coupon.

    • Courtney

The Covergirl B1G1 is for face products. Will it work on mascara? Thanks!

      • Shari

it should work with no problem… i never understand why they say “face product” because all make up goes on your face haha

        • sgkay

I totally agree, but my CVS said NO to this coupon for eye and lip makeup. It's only good for foundation, powders, etc. there. Ask before you use it! Also, the manager would only let me use one per transaction.

      • moms_coupons

Haven't tried out myself to see of it would work or not, but I've read in other places that most make-up brands are split into categories like face (foundation, concealer, powder, etc), lips (liner, gloss, lipstick, etc) and eyes (shadows, liners, mascara, etc). Some have said they were able to work it out, others had no luck.

      • clwdis

I had the same question. When Revlon's coupon says “color product” I have a similar problem at CVS.

      • Michelle

I went to use a 'face coupon' on a lip product once and the cashier said they shouldn't accept it but she took it anyways. I guess it just depends on the cashier.

    • Bradshaw89

i think that the ivory soap is on sale for .99 does anyone know for sure???

    • I couldn't get the thermacare to print either but they're mailing to me….really nice about it. I'll cross my fingers that it'll go out soon and get here in time :)

      their phone number is 800-322-3129.

It took my less than 3 minutes to call, tell them that the coupon for the thermacare was giving me a “timed out” message, give my info (only name and address), and I was done. :)

      • dr. coupon

    • elisa

The linked DD Coffee coupon IS a store coupon, and I was also able to print 2 more of the $3 off Huggies manufacturer q's from this link.

      • elisa

After looking more closely at the DD q, I'm not sure whether or not it is a store q or not. It looks like a CVS q, but in the fine print it says that the retailer will be reimbursed?? I will be interested to see if it can be stacked with the other DD q or not.

        • couponfriend

OOOOHHH Got all kinds of aggravated at the cashier today!!
The CVS in Trussville would not take the 2 CVS q's and the $1.50 off 2. They only let me use the 2 CVS ones. Cashier/ supervisor smarted off saying that they never take manufacture's and store q's on the same purchase. No one does that.
So heads up – it might not work. Still a great deal. but UGH!

    • NickATL

How can I tell if it's a month long deal or weekly deal. I'd love to snag another razzor and toothpaste if I can. Thanks for the help!

    • Libbytn

Sorry if anyone has posted this yet, but I got my May All You yesterday and there was a coupon for B1G1 nivea body wash and b1g1 lip care.

      • Annie

I got mine too and am excited! I'm hopefully going to be able to pair that with the $2 off coupons as well! should be a good deal.

        • leslie

I haven't gotten mine yet; I guess I need to wait a few days.

          • Stacie

Does anyone know when the May All You should come out at Wal-Mart?

    • Katie84

If Rimmel is B1G1, can I use a $1/1 coupon and the Free Rimmel Cosmetic coupon– thus, I would pay nothing and have $1 in overage. I know they will not pay me $1 cash, but will it come off the rest of my bill?

      • Carrie

Should be able to because you would be using one coupon for each product.

    • Katie84

If Rimmel is B1G1, can I use 2 coupons– $1/1 any Rimmel Cosmetic and my Free Rimmel Cosmetic coupon, therefore I will get both products for free plus $1 overage? Will that $1 be take off the rest of my bill?

      • Susan

No, you just need to use the B1G1 coupon—the manufacturer will give you that one free. The store gives you the other one free, so there's nothing to take $1 off of.

        • fallenfaery

Actually, the way it works at CVS you can use both of them. They will both come off.

          • Jbush27

    • reneamarie

I have looked and looked through my SS 3/28 flyer for the following Olay coupon and can't find it:
FREE Olay Total Effects Facial Cleanser wyb Olay Total Effects Facial Moisturizer SS 3/28

Am I missing something? Still kinda new at this. Thanks!

      • Sarah

Coupons vary depending on your region and newspaper so that's probably why you can't find it. Jenny usually has a weekly post that lists the variations.

      • Dianne

I think it was actually in one of the Proctor and Gamble inserts from 3/07 or 4/04.Not sure and not close to my coupons to look for you.

    • Quick question– with the Thermacare deal, do you know if all of the ECB's will print if you buy 2 in the same transaction? I have a coupon from the Thermacare site for $3/2. Thanks!

      • Nevermind. I just re-read and my coupons are for 2 counts or larger. Oh well! :(

      • meldeb3k

How did you get the coupon for the Thermacare? I tried and tried and couldn't get anything to print. Thanks.

        • I got them awhile back, so I don't remember. Sorry! :(

    • bowzer

I have tried on two days to get Revlon coupon, after signing in I go to coupon and it comes up Error — does that mean they are all gone?? Thanks!!

    • chesmary

There is a B1G1 NYC nail polish Q in March All You. If I use it with the B1G1 NYC at CVS this week will both items be free? I know it works like this at Rite Aid but wasnt sure.

      • leslie

Does anyone know if you use the $5 off $10 NYC coupon if it is $10 including their B1G1 items or for total spent instead? I'm not sure if I phrased that right, but I hope someone knows what I meant!

        • Hmmm, I would think the $10 would include the BOGO items, but I'm not sure. I would love to know the answer as well, as that would be a great way to use that q.

          • leslie

The CVS I shop in doesn't have NYC cosmetics and the only ones I saw in the ad were Rimmell and Wet N Wild that were b1g1; am I missing something? I know that Rite Aid has NYC b1g1 50%…I was disapppointed. It will be cheaper just to use my coupons at Wal-Mart where I get a 10% discount.

        • Toni

When CVS has an item B1G1, the second item rings up as free, so it would have to be $10 total (before coupons, of course), but every second item you buy will ring up as free, so won't count towards the $10 total. HTH.

      • leighsc

Good idea, I may try that. I know it worked on the SOBE water deal before and on covergirl before at CVS.

      • LD

That coupon expired 3/31 . I wish I had used mine before .

      • Elizabeth

I've actually already done this deal. The B1G1 free won't apply until after the cashier finishes the transaction, so yes, you can buy literally $10 worth or products buy 1st giving the $5 off $10 coupon to the cashier and then when he totals the transaction the rest of the $5 will come off and it is 100% free. I have actually done this twice now (with nail polish).

    • mrsembee

My local ad (Smyrna, TN) is waaay different than what's listed here. I went to the store with my list and almost nothing on the shelves matched the deals I had planned. I just double checked the in-store ad for my area and it is very different than this site. Sad day. I've never run into that on southern savers before!

      • beth963

        This ad starts Sunday.

        • mrsembee

Oh my gosh, I feel so silly!

          • Carrie

Don't feel silly, we all do that kind of thing from time to time. My moments usually happen at WAGS where I'm so focused on the confusing things that the obvious things totally slip by me!

      • debbie

It doesn't start until this Sunday is how I understand it.

      • TeresaQOCD

        This ad starts Sunday

      • NickATL

This ad is for Sunday. You were shopping too early.

    • Jenn

There is a display at my CVS in Athens GA with a little booklet with two $1/1 coupons. 1/1 hydrating shower gels and 1/1 body wash for women.

    • Jana Lee

When you need a 9 or 10 cent filler item, what do you buy?

      • Susan

Easter's going to 90% off tomorrow, I think…you could find something very cheap there.

        • Susan

They also have 33 cent caramels by the register. I've had to use those before. BUT, if you're looking for a few cents filler in order to use ECBs, you don't really have to. The cashier can adjust your ECB down…like if your total is $12.93 (before tax), and you have $13.00 in ECB, the cashier just manually enters the ECB for $12.93.

          • Jana Lee

Thanks for the tips! I went on and did my shopping this afternoon (My CVS loads their new ad around lunch time into the computer) because my CVS starts running out of sale items as soon as Sunday evening sometimes. I did end up with an Easter egg coloring kit for 49 cents (still 75% today), but I didn't mind that price too much because it is something that I will actually use. I saw those caramels at the register. They sure did look yummy! :-)

    • Courtney

Thermacare. FYI, the coupon is printing again, but it is a $3 off 2 coupon for 2 count or larger, so it doesn't look like it will work with this ad :(

    • Anonymous

Check Recyclebank.com there is a b1g1 offer for 25 points from CVS

    • Lynda

Does anyone know why CVS is issuing new cards & saying; they transferring all my ECB credit & info to my new card? Also, they are giving a $10.00 credit if I will start using the new card. WHAT IS THE DEAL? Have put some kind of restriction on the new cards? Please, tell me has this happened to anyone else?

      • Susan

They did that to me last year (without the $10 incentive ECB), but I didn't stop using my old one—it has a different picture on the front because it's very old, and that keeps me from mixing it up with my husbands. So, if you don't want to switch, you don't have to…but if they had offered me $10, I probably would've made an effort.

    • Jana Lee

Just an FYI on the ThermaCare deal. I did my shopping today and the one count pack that is for the deal in the ad starting tomorrow all say TRIAL SIZE real big at the top. I know a lot of coupons, in general, a lot of times say “Excluding Trial Sizes” so I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about that. I still got them, because they were free, and you just can't beat free! If I walk out of CVS with the same amount of Extra Care Bucks that I walked into CVS with, I'm happy! :-)

      • carolgoss

Got mine today. The $1 coupon worked too so I made $1 profit!

    • Nicole

Sorry, but I have to brag a little!! I had my best CVS trip yet today. I got $85 stuff, and only paid $11.55 OOP, plus got $4 ECBs back! Thank you, Jenny, for getting me HOOKED on the world of CVS-ing!!!!!!!

      • chrystalm

please share what you purchased and what coupons you used so we can all learn from your purchase.

    • Jackie Hanson

I am having trouble printing the thermacare coupons . Is anyone else having a problem?I I get all the way to the print coupon icon, and then it finally says that the time has expired and there must be a problem with the server.

    • Amy

Just a FYI. If you already have a green bag tag don't bother buying another. You can only scan one tag a day so it doesn't really do you any good to buy another.

    • Jo

CVS toilet paper is ringing up .50.

Also, a cashier told me today that those wonderful red machine coupons that print for CVS items (like the $1 off of CVS paper product) will take the coupon amount off of your purchase whether you buy the stipulated product or not (only for the CVS brand coupons, though). It worked for me today, so I'll try it next time, too and see what happens.

    • Daphne

Just got back from CVS. My store starts their sales on Saturday nights (sometimes earlier). The limit on the Colgate toothpaste is more than 1. My recepit doesn't say “Offer limit reached.”

    • jen

      comments and questions:

1- the CVS paper towels, I was not a big fan of. I am all stocked up on them and just started using them, and any time I get them wet, they seem to do not much of anything except fall apart. I went ahead and used the q's I got today for some tissue (like the cvs brand of kleenex)

2- I had a green bag tag, but with two kiddos who love to play with my things, my green bag tag went MIA, so I went ahead and bought one and then had the hubby get one too, that way when my kiddos run off with one again, it won't be the end of the world. (ok so it wasn't the end of the world earlier, but I really didn't want to spend even $1 for something that I knew I had SOMEWHERE in the house – but hey, free is free)

3- in regards to the hershey's movie ticket promo – does anyone know if this can be combined with the tropicana B1g1 movie code?

3a- does anyone know if there is a limit per household on the hershey's movie ticket promo?
And if not, does anyone know if you can send in all submissions in the same envelope or do
they have to be in separate ones?

3b- In the same sunday insert that the chocolate coupon was in, there was a coupon for the
$1/2 meltaway or caramel kisses. I used that along with $1.50/2 reese's that I got in my
      Kroger Home Mailer.

Ok I think that's all for now. =)

    • rebecca

Does anyone know if the Method detergent is carried in most stores? I am not sure that I have ever seen it in any of the stores near me….

      • vgwagoner

I have only seen it at Target – 7.99 for 25 loads and 14.99 for 50 loads

      • jennu22

I just bought it tonight at my CVS in Greensboro, NC

    • davahodges

The thernacare coupon is for the 2-count. The deal is a one-count so it won't work

    • sandy

kinda new to the coupon world. what exactly is this green bag tag ya'll are talking about

      • RebeccaFer

Green bag tags are purchased at CVS (usually up by the register) and you have it scanned at the same time you have your CVS rewards card scanned. You can scan it once per store each day when you make a transaction and use a reusable shopping bag. Some stores have even stopped requiring you to use the bag but that's what it's trying to promote, green living. When you get your card scanned four times, you make $1 ECB. It's really a no brainer to pick it up since it's free and you make $ using it. :D

    • Susan

Heads up everyone! I did a quick trip this morning right after church and the coupon machine printed off a $3/2 M&Ms or Dove-and the Easter peanut M&Ms were on clearance for $0.75/1lb bag-makes for a good overage! Also another $5/$40 coupon-will be very good for the Olay deal as well. Happy shopping everyone!

I have a question on the dunkin donuts scenario:

      **Deal Idea**
Buy: (2) Dunkin Donuts Coffee $6
      -$1.50/2 Dunkin Donuts RP 3/28
      (2) -$1 off Dunkin Donuts printable
      Total Due: $8.50
Get Back: $3 ECB, makes it $2.75 ea

The first line on the fine print on the coupons say, “Limit one coupon per purchase.” How would this scenario work?

    • MommySpendsLess

Parents has a digital copy of their magazine available online that includes the $3 CVS coupon for Pampers. The coupon’s fine print reads “CVS/pharmacy will not accept offers printed from unauthorized internet postings or reproductions, copies, or facsimiles of this offer.” But this isn’t an unauthorized posting – it’s on parents-digital.com so, at least in theory, Parents and CVS know that it’s there…

So, what’s the general thought, okay to print it out and use it or not?

    • I have a question on this scenario:

      **Deal Idea**
Buy: (2) Dunkin Donuts Coffee $6
      -$1.50/2 Dunkin Donuts RP 3/28
      (2) -$1 off Dunkin Donuts printable
      Total Due: $8.50

        It didn't for me! :0(
just used the 2 cvs q's

      The Thermacare limit is >1.

    • mandbmom

Just had the best shopping deal at CVS yet for me! Scanned my card when i got there and got a 5 off 40 purchase so decided to do one large transaction and see if I came out ahead. here is what I got:
3 large Hershey Dark Choicolate Bars 2/$3.00 each

4 B1G1 Hershey bar (suppose to be get dark choc free but store out so gave me milk choc instead)
2 1.oo off Colgate Clinical Toothpaste

So I actually made money on this purchase!!!!
Whoo Hoo!!! Thank you Jenny for all your help on SouthernSavers!

    • Anonymous

I got $78.00 (roughly) worth of stuff for $21 and change. I also left with $5 in ECB. In the interest of saving space, here’s the link to the post on my blog about it, with details!

    • Oh, BTW. Free Nutrogena sunscreen — http://www.neutrogena.com/econsumer/ntg/specialoffer.myntg?segment=women

1.99 each — use the coupon from the link above and it’s free. :) (KrazyCouponLady)

      • rebecca

Do you mean that CVS has Neutrogena sunscreen for $1.99 ? That would be awesome!?

      • megan10

Where did you find neutrogena sunscreen for $1.99???

    • Michelle

I went through the Therma Care crap, too. I didn't realize it was only for the 1 count arm wrap (which the CVS I went to does not even have). Then they said I have to wait 10 days to return them because I wrote a check. :(
Also, the Halle Berry things that say they start at 4.99 really don't. The cheapest one my CVS had was 14.99, so I didn't get that.

      • Shari

I got the halle .17 oz item… that was $4.99. It was the last one at my store in VA.

        • Erin

Where in VA? I went to three CVS in the Richmond area and I was only able to find the .17 Halle for $12.99. It worked OK for me, because it helped me toward a $40 purchase ($5/$40), plus I had a $5 Halle coupon.

          • shari

            Lynchburg, VA :)

The one at my store wasn't marked $4.99 but I asked, and it did ring up as such. It's the .17 oz.

    • haha More free toothpaste! I swear I have 5 tubes that I got for free. I'm new to the CVS thing, but I'm loving it so far! :)

    • bellaruz

Did anyone find a Halle Orchid or Halle product for $4.99. I went this morning and the cheapest one I found was the .17oz Halle Orchid for $12.99?

    • bellaruz

Did anyone find a Halle Orchid or Halle product for $4.99? I went this morning and the cheapest item I found was .17oz. Halle Orchid for $12.99?

      • Sarah

I found it!! The $4.99 packs were on a corner “hangtag” instead of where the other perfume is. They were hanging near some of the makeup. HTH!!

        • lorelei207

I went to 2 different stores before finding the hanging $4.99 perfume. It really is a “travel size” but smells lovely :)

    • lorelei207

      Stuff I got 2day, pretty good :)
      2 Thermacare
      1 Colgate Pro Clinical
      1 CVS Bag tag
      1 Revlon lipstick
      1 Revlon clippers
      1 Halle perfume
Total spent after using prior ECBs:$4.52
Left with an additional $7.49 ECBs!!

      • How much was the Revlon lipstick?

        • lorelei207

The lipstick was $8.99 and I used a $3 off coupon. I bought nail clippers for $2.99 to reach $10 in revlon to get the $3 ECB back. So it was like getting both for $5.99. But I didn't pay that much because I had prior ECBs. The lipstick was a little pricier than I thought it was going to be before I got to the store, but it worked out well

    • christie1225

I don't see the buy 2 kellogs cereal and milk get 3$ ECB's, but this deal is in the add.

    • renamac

i use reusable bags everywhere i go. I love them! At cvs u get acs buck every 4th time u use the bag tag, at Target and Bi-lo they give u 5 cents for each bag Wahoo!. Plus lots of places offer the bags for free like Target today for green day, and lots of others Plus this saves on the environment . I hope you all will give it a try. If you keep forgetting your bags in the car you'll soon get into the habit of bringing them in. just keep them handy with your coupons also bath and bodyworks has an adorable bag that fits right inside your purse and it holds a ton of stuff.

      • lovescats2

when did you get the bag from Bath and Bodyworks? Was it recently?

        • renamac

yes and I was just in there over the weekend and they still have them . Pretty colors too.

Anyone else having trouble printing the ThermaCare $1 off coupon….keeps telling me on THREE different computers that there is a “stsytem time out error”?

      • momoftwogreatboys

I can not print the coupon for ThermaCare either. It kicked me back to the main screen again.

    • chrystalm

I just left CVS and the hale berry purfume prices start at $12.99. The manager and myself scanned all the Hale Berry purfumes there were about 4 different products and sizes and the cheapest one was $12.99 :( , Oh well. I get excited for free stuff this was a let down!!

      • Annie

I couldnt find this either! I was excited too because her perfume smells so good! oh well!

      • lorelei207

the perfume is a teeny tiny one that i found hanging on one of the shopping aisles, not near the perfume section. The first store that i went to I found the one for $12.99 and it looks like an actual perfume bottle, small, but a bottle. the $4.99 on is just a tube and tiny, def travel size.

      • there were 2 left in my store…rando,ly hanging on am endcap with no signage and nowhere near the fragrance seciton. Kinda looks like a chapstick packaging….just a small travel size, but hey, it was free and got me ECBs…..ask about them in your store just in case!

    • sheba18

Does anyone else have trouble at CVS when using a second coupon with a B1G1 coupon? The register starts beeping, then they say I can't use it with the b1g1 !

    • sheba18

Does anyone else have a problem at CVS when trying to use a $ off coupon in addition to a B1G1 coupon? The register starts beeping and they say I can't use both! I really hate it when that happens

      • jessica

yes, give the money off coupon first, then give the buy one get one coupon.

    • Annie

Alrite. So I got $38 dollars of stuff for $2.50! (all tax)

There is a great milk and cereal deal in the Florida CVS ad. Especially if your store carries TG Lee milk. If you buy 2 Kelloggs cereals (Raisin Bran Crunch, Frosted Flakes, Mini Wheats, All Bran 17-18.3 oz., Special K cereal 12-14 oz, Special K or Nutri-Grain bars) and 1 gallon of milk at $8.19, then you get 3 ECB’s. There is a $1 off coupon for TG Lee milk at tgleedairy.com , and $1.50 off 2 Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats, All Bran and/or Raisin Bran Cereals at http://www.redplum.comUsing both coupons makes 2 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk $2.69 after coupons and ECB’s.Even without coupons this is a good deal.

    • helenbarnes03

      i bought
      1 olay rgn daily cleaner
      1 olay total effects
1 olay total effects foaming cleaner
total after q's where 31.85. my question is can i still do the olay rebate i added it up with tax and all it was 51.84. but reciept says 31.85.

      • Tiffany

YES!! You can! :) At least it's worked that way for me on all the other free bottles of Olay Quench lotion.

    • DNH

CVS has a CVS coupon online for $1 of a boag of coffee! Use with this weeks' ECB deal!

    • joyfullysaving

When I was at CVS they had buy 4 individual SoyJoy bars and get $2 ECB's How do find a coupon for Soy Joy in all the coupons we have. Does anyone know off hand where one is. I really appreciate any advice you all have on this finding coupons.

Also the deal this week for cereal and milk in the Ad, anybody know of a coupon out there for Special K or Nutrigrain bars?

      THanks and happy shopping

    • I did great at CVS this week.
      I bought:
      Rimmel Lycra Mascara = $7.69
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick = $6.99 (Free with BOGO Sale)
      Green Bag Tag = 99¢

      2nd transaction

    • BpGc

I'm going to start using my HSA account to buy up these Advil and allergy pill deals while I can with my HSA money b/c it is rumored (who can figure out if it is official) that over the counter pills will not qualify for tax-free HSA reimbursements under HR 3200. I love how CVS prints your HSA eligible items on your receipts!

    • stephk1

My CVS wouldn't take the double coupon on the dunkin donut coffee

      • Mine wouldn't either. The shift supervisor argured that the printable was not a true store Q and would not allow me to stack them with my $1.50/2 manufacturer Q. She said the printable was a manufacturer for CVS only. I thougnht that would be a store Q. Guess not! I was really bummed, cause I wanted that coffee for $2.75/bag!

    • Stacey

If I do the B1G1 Dove deal AND if I get the coupon to print ($3 off 2), do I need to buy 4 deoderants for it to take the coupon, or will it go through if I only buy 2 but one of them is free?

      • Jenn

nope, you buy two. It rings up the first one at 3.49, rings the second up at 3.49 and then the register takes that one off straightaway. I had to get my cashier to manually enter my 5/40 because it actually took the second one off before calculating the total. Then give your 3/2 with any other coupons you have.

    • Chris

I am a married male, 46, and I am addicted to couponing and using southernsavers.com! :) My wife loves it but my children think I am crazy. That being said, just wanted to mention that the $2.00 Schick Quattro coupon worked for me last week on the Schick Hydro razor deal. I will use another tomorrow with my $6 EB from last week to purchase another for $.97 and get another $6 back. Hope this helps!

      • Chris

Hate when I am not clear on a post. Could not concentrate with my son in the room. I should have said “I will use another coupon tomorrow with my $6 EB from last week to purchase another razor for $.97. I will then get $6 more in EB…” Hope that is more clear….

    • jewel

There's also the $3 ECB when you buy 2 Kelloggs Cereals and Milk.

    • Alissa

I went to do the Olay deal this evening and when I scanned my Extra Care card I received a $5.00 off of $40.00. This made the Olay deal .98 after MIR. Super deal!!

    • crystalfawn

Jenny did not list the Kelloggs/Milk extracare bucks deal…Just wondering if anyone has done that deal and if so what coupons etc. you used. It seems like it would a great deal.

    • I agree I am loving the Green Tag Deal this week!
      Happy Earth Day!

    • sheba18

Does anyone else have a problem when combining a B1G1 coupon with an additional manufacturer coupon at CVS? The register starts beeping and my store won't let me do it!

      • Ashley

Do the money off coupon first then hand over the B1G1 coupon and it will work!

        • sheba18

          Thanks, I'll try that today!!

    • Nicole

so disappointed….I have a 4 off 20 purchase at CVS and have my shopping trip planned but realized it was only good till yesterday (4/18)… anybody know if CVS would still honor it?

      • Susan

My CVS in Dawsonville, GA, and Cumming, GA, will honor expired CVS store coupons for a month after expiration date. It is worth asking at your location.

    • jojo_girl

Did the $5 off Rimmel coupon come on a tear card in the April All You magazine? My Mom and I both bought issues and neither of them had this coupon, I wondered if someone went through and took them?

      • ziggy34434

It was in the subscription version only.

    • RBMommy

I found the 50ct Advil for 3.99 with an extra 50 for free inside. Made for a great deal!

    • sheba18

I finally got a $5 off purchase of $40 coupon. Yippie!!

      • hollyworld

to use the $5 off $40 do you have to purchase $40 all at once?

        • sheba18

I think you must have to, but that was no problem for me with the Olay Rebate purchases.

    • hollyworld

Does anyone know what Halle item is $4.99? My CVS had no clue and we couldn't find anything for $4.99. The add for the ECB states that items start at $4.99. I thought at first it was the .17oz perfume but that is ringing up $12.99.

      • nancycrom

In my cvs, there were small cardboard holders with a Halle perfume sprayer on it. They were hanging on a display next to the cosmetic tools.(nowhere near the other perfume!) They are actually the same size (.17oz) as the bottle for 12.99, but they ring up 4.99.

    • Laura B

Went to CVS and got a $3 off a Revlon cosmetic from the red coupon machine. I also have $5 off of 2 Revlon cosmetics CVS coupon. Can I use both of these on two items?

      • Suemh

    • megan10

the dove coupon says off dove ultimate sensitive or ultimate go fresh….the ad states invisible solid deodorant…are these the same…has any one tried using this coupon? this is the only kind of deodorant i use and would love to do this deal…thanks

      • jessica

I used the coupon with the BIGI in the ad and it worked for me. I also got a printout when I scanned my card on the red machine for $1.50 off one dove ultimate. The cashier let me use it with the manu coupon, and so I got 2 free deodorant and $1 overage! :) Hope that helps

    • jackeeinaikensc

I used scenario one – the mascara and added two thermacares to it. I had printed the $3 off thermacare, and used the two mascara coupons (B1G1 and $1 offf two) My bill was just over $9 and I got back almost $9 in ECB. Thank you so much for all the effort you go through to see to it that folks learn how to coupon

    • jessica

Be on the lookout for markdowns! My CVS had crock pots, desk chairs, yoga mats and various other items at 75% off and little flash cards and sponges and several other items 90%!!

    • Suemh

I had an awesome trip to CVS today. Using 2 different cards, I got all of this for 17.98 plus tax and will be getting back $20 Olay rebate. My total was 22.34 after tax, coupons, and ecb's. Plus I ended up with 98¢ more in ecb's than I started with. The scanner gave me $5 off $40 purchase on each card and the cashier allowed me to use them both on the same card after I messed up my first transaction. I bought 2 bag tags, one for my second bag and one for a friend.
      2 Olay Total Effects Moisturizer
      2 Olay Total Effects Cleansers
      2 Green Bag Tags
      2 Colgate
      2 CVS Cocoa Butter Trial
      1 CVS Paper Towels
      3 Bags Hersheys Candy
      1 Extra Large Hershey Bar
      1 Cover Girl Mascara
      4 Therma Care

      Total value: 108.10
Total spent 2.34 (after Olay rebate)

      • Ashley

FYI, if you bought your 2 tags at the same time, it won't be able to work for your friend. It is programed for your extra care card only. But you might have already known that.

        • Suemh

I do not think that this is correct. My husband and I each have a card and share the same tag. It works for both of our cards.

          • Ashley

Well, that sure would be great if that were the case. I have 2 f/ a B1G1 and wanted to give it away b/c I don't need 2. According to Jenny though, it attaches to one card only.

            • vadahlia

I asked my local CVS manager who said that the bag tag is not attached to your card and it can be swiped once per day per card at each CVS you go to that day. I have found this to be true.

            • jessica

No, it does not attach to one card only. My husband and I used the same green bag tag with two different CVS cards for a long time (we now each have a green bag tag). I always checked the receipt and sure enough, every time we scanned the green bag tag we each got credit. So every fourth time we went to the store together, we each got a $1ECB back.

          • Toni

Same here. I use one tag for both of our cards. It works for both cards and I can scan it once a day for each card.

        • jessica

No, it's not programmed for your extra care card. I used my card to buy a green bag tag for my husband to use with his extra care card, and he has been using it for weeks now and it works for him just fine. He has gotten 2 or 3 $1ECBs back. They are not programmed to your card.

      • lmettler

I bought the same Olay stuff as you, but wondering since we didn't actually spend $50 can we still get the rebate? Is it just $50 worth of products? Thanks!

        • Suemh

You will circle the name and purchase price of each on your receipt. Coupons do not affect the rebate. A little while back I did an Olay rebate where I spent about $8 and got a $15 rebate. The form states “Olay Facial Moisturizers, Facial Treatments, and/or Facial Cleansers”, so these products should work.

          • lmettler

Great. Thanks so much! New at this. :)

    • elisa

The Thermacare coupon is working!!! I guess they received enough phone calls to finally fix the problem-lol!

      • Dianne

Yes, it is!! Thanks for the heads up!

    • crickola

I just got the Thermacare & Advil q's to print.
      4:12 pm EST

    • grisy

Does anybody know if I need to buy the $15 in american greet cards at once or can be done in 2 transactions to get the ECB's??
      Thanks in advance

      • Suemh

As long as you buy the $15 worth before the deal ends. Unless it is a month-long deal, it will end Saturday.

    • Tanya W

I got a coupon for a BOGO on the CVS/pharmacy Green Bag Tag 99¢ from http://www.recyclebank.com . So I got 2 for free!

I got it in to mail just last week. I think it did take two or three weeks for FYI..

    • Gail

My CVS had Clairol Nice 'N Easy in the mark down bin for $2.00 used the $2.00 off from the 4/18 RP and got free hair color!

    • Kristin

I am new at this… If the deal has a limit of 1, is that a weekly limit or an overall limit? For example, if I did the Nivea deal last week which has a limit of 1, can I do it again this week or no?

    • bridget91

does cvs take rite aid coupons?

    • Anonymous

I am trying to print coupons of nivea bodywash, when it comes up on Coupons.com I can’t find it…does anyone when a Zip that might work?

    • Renee

Okay, I'm new at this and need a little help! How is it that you get the coupons for B1G1 CoverGirl RP 4/11? I've searched for them on RP and can't find them! Is it that they expire?

      • Suemh

It sounds as if you are searching for them on the Red Plum website. RP 4/11 means that they were in the Red Plum insert of the newspaper dated 4/11. If you are referring to the insert, there are regional variations.

    • socoupon

Green tags – you only need one, right? For example, you can't have two that they scan each transaction to increase the ECBs you get back?

      • Suemh

You are correct. You only need one.

    • elisa

Ok, I just need to vent. I had a rather disappointing trip to CVS. If all had gone as planned, I would have gotten 2 Thermacare wraps, 1 gal of milk, 2 Kelloggs cereals, advil, pampers, 4 taster's choice packs and 1 green bag tag, spent around $3 and come out with $18.97 in ECB's.
Sadly, things did not go as planned and I ended up spending $36 and coming out with $13.99 in ECBs (still not bad considering I also got several additional items, but nowhere near as good as it could have been).

      • elisa

OK, I've realized that the first thing that went wrong was that my math was WAY off. LOL. If things had gone as planned, I would have spent about $19 and gotten back $16 in ECB's. No idea how I got that far off, but I feel a lot better now!

    • Kazzy

return question: I bought oil of olay products with a B1G1 coupon and I also used ecbs to pay. Would I have to return both products? How is my money returned, in ECB form or cash? I called and asked but the cashier wasn't sure, and to just come in. Any experience to impart before i go?

      • kim

I had to return something that I paid for with part coupon/ECB and cash. You will get the cash part back and the rest on a gift card. The free part you won't get back because you didn't pay for it.

        • Kazzy

Thanks Kim, just what needed to know!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Manuf. Qs and ECBs warrant store credits. You did pay for it, just not in green currency but in a form of payment called “manuf. Qs” and “ECBs” (earned reward money). If you paid for one Olay with ECB, you get store credit for that, if you paid for the other with manuf. Q. you get store credit for that also-No one should tell you otherwise

        • Kazzy

thank you, I like to be “armed” with knowledge before any discussion.

    • luckysmomabram

Went the first night to CVS for bygo dove deodorant and halle perfume. They were sold out in our area :(

    • chrystalm

Just got a cvs store coupon $4 off any stayfree iteam from scanning my card at the card center.

    • chris

does the b1g1 covergirl face product work on mascara?

      • Kazzy

i used it that way, after all, your eyes are part of your face! (if they question you)

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

A possible deal for Hrsheys/Reese's candy

Can someone help me with the Revlon coupon? The link takes me to the site and I signed up but I don't know where I need to go for the coupon.

    • kbrooks898@bellsouth.net

Just curious – where do you get the $4 off $20 for skin care products at CVS?

    • nselvidge

Does anyone know which CVS store sells Rimmel make-up around Chattanooga?
I have been to two in North Georgia, and neither sell Rimmel.

Does anyone know which CVS sells Rimmel products around Chattanooga? I have been to two in North Georgia, and neither carry the brand. Thanks!

    • Mom2Ryley

I did pretty good at CVS this week. Here's what I got:

      (2) Softsoap Body washes
      (2) Oral B 3D White toothbrushes
      (1) Jumbo Pamper's Baby Dry diapers
      (1) Complete Multi-Purpose contact solution (raincheck)
      (2) Tresemme Fresh Start shampoos
      (1) Hydro 3 Razor

      Total OOP: $2.38
$9 ECB's left for next week.

      • Mom2Ryley

OOps! I meant to post this for the ad that starts tomorrow 25-Apr.
