CVS Weekly Ad 4/19-4/25

on 4.17.2009 at 1:07am

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

I would say 4/19-4/25 is a fairly good week at CVS. I got to use the cent sign a lot and that makes me happy. Scroll down for this week’s Grand Plan Scenario, there is a plan if you are just getting started too.

  1. For most non 24 hour CVS you can shop early on Saturday evening after 6pm and get these deals.
  2. For B1G1 items you must buy 2, the second item is free.
  3. If the store is out of an item, you can get a rain check.  The ECB will print when you redeem the rain check at a later date.

If you are new to “CVSing” and the Extracare Buck system before trying to decipher all of this go read the getting started guide.

thank you for all your hard work and especialy for the link for the coupons – it help a lot!!!!

    • Jill

Of course, Flintstones vitamins would have a deal this next when I needed to buy them this week! =) Murphy’s Law!

    • It doesn’t make it amazingly cheap or anything, but there is a Sally hansen lip product q for $1 from the 3/8 SS too. It might help someone’s scenario for the $4/$20 if they really wanted it.

    • Ashley

How do you get the physical $2 off Aveeno product coupon? I clicked the “printable” link and registered at the site, but I haven’t received an email or anything with the actual coupon in it. Is this mailed to you?

Thanks so much for your site!

    • Kelly

FYI the coupons that can be printed for Aveeno ‘positively ageless’ include a $10 off of 3 Aveeno products, it states it much be used with the postivelt ageless collection but but it works on any of their products. This would be a great way to save even more if you’re going to buy at least 3 Aveeno products to reach the $25 for the $10 ECB. If you’re buying more than 3 you should be able to use the other $2 off coupon as well. Here’s the website:

    • Daisy25

Last time I paid for ECB items with an ECB from a previous purchase, the Extra Care Bucks I received were reduced by the amount I used in payment.

I purchased $11.00 worth of ECB items….I paid with $10.50 cash and a fifty cent ECB froma previous purchase. Instead of getting back $11 in Extra Care Bucks…I only received $10.50.

      Has anyone else experienced this?

    • ChristineR

I may be wrong :), but I read somewhere else that there is a $10/3 products AVEENO MQ. Here is the link to their site: https://www.aveeno.com/ageless-coupon.jsp

That may work well with your last scenario, paired with the $4/20 CVS coupon?

    • ked

How do you get (4) of the Aveeno $2.00 off coupons?

    • The Aveeno deal is already working this week. I have done the deal twice and I still haven’t reached the limit. Not sure if that will carry over to next week. There is also a $10 Aveeno coupon you can use to make the deal even better! I posted the deal (along with coupon links) on my blog – http://cvs-saver.blogspot.com/2009/04/some-great-deals-to-get-by-saturday.html

    • If shampoo is b1g1, will CVS allow you to use a coupon for each item??

    • Donna

What does the Sat. night or Sunday only, $4/$20 mean? Is that the only time I can get the coupon or the only time and can use it???

    • Kim

Yes that happened to me on last week. There was a softsoap apricot scrub for $4.99 and you get 4.99 back in ECB’s. However I only got back $4.49. Does anyone know why this happens?

    • Jenny (also)

Meredith, Cvs corporate coupon policy is to allow you to use 2 coupons on the B1G1…one for each item. Occasionally you will get a cashier who tries to argue with you, but their policy does allow it.

Donna, the Sat nite sunday only $4/20 is a coupon that CVS is giving from their website that can only be used on sat nite and sunday. You can print your copy now, but it must be used by then.

      Hope this helps!

    • Jenny (also)

Daisy, i’ve never had that happen to me before, so maybe it was just a computer glitch.

Kim, the $4.49 you got back was an error they had in their system, and they corrected it as the week went on. The next time you go to CVS, they should print you a $1.00 ECB correction for their error.

    • Daisy25

      Maybe that’s what happened…

the error was coincidentally the amount of my previous ECB.

    • Becky

Ashley, in order to print the Aveeno coupons you have to disable the pop-up blocker on your computer. That might be why it did not print.

    • Becky

btw, you can sign up for a free Aveeno shampoo/conditioner sample at their website (and it says they will send a coupon too).

    • Michaelene

I had the same problem last week with the Softsoap ECBs being .50 short and thankfully noticed before I left the store. I went back the register, they called the manager and she said they had told them something about this computer glich in some meeting. So she typed something into the register and lucky for me she actually printed out a $1.00 ECB. She said, “Well that made it worth your trouble.” So I don’t know if you could go back this week with your receipt and the ECB and have them give you the .50 ECB.

    • Angela P

I too was looking forward to the aveeno Qs and they did not print. It said my pop up blocker needed to be turned off, but it WAS off. My luck!

    • Lisa N.

    • rachael

I have $10ECB that I need to use this week, however I am not sure how to work it where I get a lot back. I don’t want to use the ECB and only get $2ECB back…any suggestions? Thanks.

    • Ashley

Thanks Becky! That worked! – Ashley

    • ShanR

Is anyone using the $4/$20 more than once? The coupon says limit one per customer, but I didn’t know if that meant once per transaction or once per card because your card tracks it?

    • angela

Do you know if you can combine the $4/$20 beauty with a $10/$50 total purchase?

      • Jenny

You can combine the $/$$ coupons as long as you have a total to cover the coupon when it is used.

    • Vicki

I’m having trouble printing the Aveeno $10 coupon. After I complete the registration, click submit, an error message comes up. My pop up is disabled. Any other suggestions?? thanks.

    • Donna

Yea I wanna know too if you can use the $4/$20 coupon more than once on separate transactions?

      • Jenny

Yes you can use it more than once in separate transactions!!

    • Erica

In the newest issue of Fitness magazine there is a $2 off $10 purchase of beauty or personal care to CVS. If you wanted to do the John Frieda/Curel/Jergens deal, you could use that.

    • Beth

Just returned from my Saturday evening CVS run (oh how I look forward to it!). This is the one on Devine Street (Columbia, SC). The cashier seemed pleased that I knew to shop for the deals on Saturday and asked if knew about Southern Savers! She’s a cute little college student and said to tell you that, “like, OHMYGOSH that website saves me SOOOO much money!!” Thought you’d like to know it!

    • Shon

If you hold down the CTRL button & click refresh at the same time, it will disable the pop-up blocker and allow a new screen to come up for printing the Q.

    • I cannot find the link for the CVS Saturday $4 coupon. Help?

    • Amy

Will you be able to use the $10/3 Aveeno coupon for products that are not part of the positively ageless line?

    • Jenny
    • Okay…HELP!
I have a 10/20 cosmetics coupon that expires tomorrow. What do they definte as cosmetics and what would be the best deal to use that on? I have some 3/15 coupons too. Ahhhh…. I hate when I wait until the last minute. I totally forgot I had that!

    • Trevor

I have a question for all you master CVS’ers. In this Aveeno deal does CVS only accept one manufacturer’s coupon per product or can you double up? For example if you bought 4 items to get to the $25 could you then use (4)printed $2off and (4)$1off from the 4/05 papers on the same product?

    • Jenni

Just a few suggestions from my trip today. There was a $1.00 off coupon with the bayer aspirin I found at the front desk with the display of aspirin’s. Also, they have purse size aveeno lotions for $2.99 that are included in the deal for $10 ECB’s. This was a great filler item for me since I got sunscreen and not lotions and body wash which I didn’t need. So I used the $4 off $20 coupon, $10 aveeno coupon and $2 aveeno coupon. Wow it was awsome!!!

    • Christa

Lisa, the only thing I am concerned about is – if the products are $ 3.33 each, we may have to buy 7 (but use another $ 1 coupon, so take one just in case) because 6 products only makes it $ 19.98 and you have to spend $ 20 (before taxes) to get $ 10 ECB. With buying 7, it will make the products .33 each, which is fine for me because I use their shampoo/conditioner and gel.

      Jenny, do you agree?

I’m going today, so I will let you know.

    • Christa

Lisa, I would also say you need to add another item, doesn’t matter the cost, candy bar, whatever – you’re buying 6 items, 7 coupons (including the CVS coupon). I know at Walgreen’s, store coupons don’t count in the total, but don’t know about CVS. Can anyone answer?

    • Jenny from FL

    • Maehing O

WAs this in the beer section or the suncreeen scetion?
      What a deal!

    • Jenny from FL

Maehing O, I got it in the beer section a few weeks ago. Check the Anheuser Busch website and see if there is a download…….

    • Maehing O

Thanks Jenny! I did I did check the site, and no coupon! I will check Publix!

    • Anya

Thanks for the suggestion! I will look for the Bayer coupons and the purse size Aveeno tomorrow. How many aveeno products did you buy? You used the $10 coupon on 3 sunscreens and $2 coupon on the loition? So if this Positevely Ageless coupon work for any Aveeno product, not just Pos. Ageless line.. will it work on the 2.99 loition as well? Probably not.. but I am just checking.. trying to look at my options before I go shopping tomorrow! :)

    • Nikki

Hey!! I’m super frustrated! FYI – my CVS didn’t let me use the $10 coupon b/c it’s for the “positively ageless” products. Did anyone else run into this problem? I just scratched the whole deal b/c it wouldn’t be as great without the 10 off.

    • Lori

      rachael (#21)
There are some great deals with lots of ECB’s back, just look at the Aveeno deal, the free items…etc

I have 3 $20-25 transactions planned out and i’m only looking at about $20 OOP (which I have ECB’s for previous week to use). I think this is an wonderful week for any newbies to start loving CVS. Also dont forget about the month long ECB deal too ;)

    • Kait

Hey – there is a $1 Bayer aspirin printable here: http://www.bayereasycare.com/aspirin/printable.aspx. Hope this helps, maybee it will turn out to be a moneymaker… :-)

    • Stephanie H.

HELP JENNY, I SCREWED UP!!! I went to CVS today with my $10/3, $2/1 and $4 off $20 coupons in hand…was going for the Aveeno deal idea that you suggested. I bought 2 body washes and 1 body lotion for $6 each, and the Positively Ageless Daily Cleansing Pads for $8.99. My total before tax was $10.99 (after coupons), and I was so excited to get my $10 ECB because this was my very first CVS shopping experience going by your “rules”! Well, I only got $1 back in ECB!! So I went back in, and she said that I had to purchase only items that were pictured in the weekly ad…I had no idea!! The Positively Ageless item was NOT in the ad, therefore my qualifying total was only $18. I was too distraught to go back in there and figure something out, I had failed at my first CVS attempt! BUT, I noticed on the bottom of my receipt that it says “This Week’s ECB Offers Balance: amount toward reward=$18, amount needed to earn reward=$7

My question is: can I go back, return the non-qualifying $8.99 item, purchase a qualifying $7 item, and get my $10 ECB??

Moral of the story for all my Southern Saver friends…MAKE SURE YOU ONLY PURCHASE ITEMS IN THE WEEKLY AD! :)

    • tonya

i will admit i was a little nervous about using the $10 off 3 “positvely ageless” products coupon, but those items started at $18 each and went up. i found the other products started at 6 and $7 so i got those. my cvs did allow me to use the $10 off 3 coupon for “any” aveeno product. they are very laid back. many times if they don’t have the particular product that i have a coupon for they will allow me to use it on another product they have by the same brand (ex. dove shampoos). i think it just depends on the store/clerk. it always helps to ask before you go to the register. that way you won’t be surprised. i also used the $4 off 20 and got the two free after ecb’s items. it was a good run. thanks.

    • Tracy

My CVS wouldn’t allow the Aveeno coupon either because it was for positively ageless and it beeped when scanned for any other Aveeno. Put it all back when that happen.

    • Lori

it beeped at my cvs too BUT when she looked at the “beep” it was just asking her to put in the coupon amount! we both laughed thinking it was going to take it but it did she just had to key in the amount :-)

    • Maehing O

Good week at CVS too! You guys need to check the clearance section. Found reduced fat pringles for .50c per can, used 1.00 off 2, got 6 cans for FREE. Used the Aveeno deal yesterday, and today. Was worried that it wouldn’t print the ECB, but it did! Used Lisa’s idea up top for the Tresseme products, had a $10 ECB’s from Saturday’s Aveeno run, and let my daughter pick out 6 hair care products. Was .45c out the door! She was VERY happy… me too!

    • Amy in LA

I just went to CVS to get the Aveeno deal and it worked without any problems. I was nervous that the $10/3 wouldn’t work, but I had a backup plan. I had 4 of the $2 off any Aveeno coupons in my wallet in case that one didn’t work. So I got 3 bodywashes and 1 shampoo, and I only paid out of pocket $3.19 with tax. (I had $7 in extra bucks)Plus got the $10 back! I’m excited.

    • Amy in LA

Oh, and I’ve been asking here where to scan my card for printouts and since nobody answered I just tried the price scanner and it worked! So yesterday I got a $5 off $15 skincare purchase. I’m gonna go tomorrow for the Jergens Naturals… you’ll get $5 back if you spend $15 plus I have coupons from the newspaper. Awesome!

    • I just got back from CVS to get the $4 off deal. I was already in my PJ’s when I found the deal on here and managed to get dressed and head to the store to save, save, save. I got 3 coupons from the Aveeno site and the other $2 one. I brought all of them and tried to buy the Aveeno baby wash included in the deal… I got Aveeno baby wash $7.99, 2 Aveeno bars of soap at $2.99, 2 cleansers at $7 on sale. I couldn’t find any wash for $6 or suncare but they may have been in a different section. I got my $10 ECB and from the machine I got a $5 off 30 to use on my next big transaction. I wish I had more time to go to the other CVS and get some more aveeno products! Still thrilled at the deal I got! Thanks to everyone! ps… wish I got the Beer deal too. Oh well!

    • Melanie Stiles

Jenny, I’m a new couponer and so appreciate those of you gifted in numbers and how to get the most for your money. I printed out and followed instructions for three deals last night at CVS…the Edge shaving gel, the Tresemme products and the Aveeno products. I was so excited, I couldn’t wait to show my hubby what I got. Thanks for this wonderful site!

P.S. I was able to do even better over the weekend for Bloom. Thank you a million times over!

    • Jamey

How are you guys getting the $5 off $30 or $5 off $15 coupons that are mentioned in posts #54 and 55? Is there some sort of scanner or price checker in the store besides the checkout registers? I registered on CVS website and so far the only coupon they have sent me is the $4 off $20 that we all used last weekend.

      Help me out girls!

    • I CVS’d this weekend for the first time.

      (1) Softsoap Body Wash @ $4.99

      Got back $4.99 ECB

    • Jenni

I shopped the baby isle while at CVS tonight and they had Gerber 2nd food’s on clearance for 42cents!!! And I had two .75/3 1st foods coupons. They let me use it so for under $1.50 I bought 6 baby foods!!!

    • Kelly

I am having a problem printing the tresseme coupon. It is too big and doesn’t completely print on 1 pg. I even switched it to landscape, better, but still not the complete UPC. What am I doing wrong?? TIA

    • Hey guys… at the print-out machine today I got a $5 off $15 of tresemme! I decided to alter my shopping plan mid-trip (yikes!)… I will hopefully make it back tomorrow before closing to buy my 6 tresemme products for $20 – $6 in printable coupons – $5 off of $15 = $1 surplus for me! That is on top of the $4 surplus I have from my Rite Aid trip today! Man I love this site! Not only has it saved me tons of money, it’s given me back the confidence that I do have control over our finances… that is worth so much more than the money!

    • Timea

Is the Tresemme coupon working? I’ve read on another post that it’s an illegal coupon. Anyone had problems using it?

    • Jenni

On Sunday I did the Aveeno deal and received my ECB’s and then on my receipt it says I have $23.02 to reach my reward level and it doesn’t say my limit was reached on that deal. Does that mean I can go do the Aveeno deal again and get another $10 ECB??? Thanks for everyone’s help. And Jenny thank you so much this awsome website!!!

    • Tracy M

Anyone having trouble printing the Arm Hammer coupons?

    • Jill

My CVS in Alabama has their Adidas Action3 Anti-Perspirant on sale clearance for about 3.26. You get 2 ECB. There is also a $1 off coupon in RP 4/05/09. Thanks for all you do!!

    • Hi all,

I went yesterday and got the Aveeno deal, but I was a little sad when I realized the coupon was for the “positively ageless” products. Those were 8.99 at my store (not on sale) instead of the 6.00 per item (I didn’t realize, from Jenny’s post, that the $10/3 coupon was only for the Positively Ageless products). My store is pretty picky about the coupon matching the products so I was afraid to try (next time I will try anyway, LOL!) so I went ahead and got three of the PA products and then one regular lotion. End cost (because of the additional expense) was about 7.00 out of pocket (I was hoping for the free plus overage Jenny mentioned, LOL!) But still, it’s a decent deal. I’m going back today for more, including the edge, crest and other products.

      Happy shopping!

    • Timea

Jenni… the Aveeno deal is limit 3 from other sites I’ve seen…. got one sunday… hoping to get another $4/20coupon this thursday so I can do it 2more times… need lots of sunblock this summer :) Happy Shopping

    • Timea

totally forgot to post my deal from sunday :)
      here’s what I got:
      3 Aveenon PA sunblock (2 50sp spray and 1 70sp face-this one had a free trial size bonus pack) = $27
      2 Dove Skin Vit. = $8
      1 Bayer crystal 4ct = $2
1 Skin Effects Rej.Hand Treat. from the clearance table = $5
      Total $42
-$13.99 ECB’s needed to roll them by 4/20
-$5 CRT for the Skin Effects
      -$7.50 (dove skin vit (2) 3.75IP’s)
-$1 bayer crystal coupon that was attached to the display
      -$10 aveeno PA $10/3

      subtotal .51 + (7.25%tax) 1.38 = OOP $1.89 (but… plus 1.99 ecb difference b/c I got 12ECB’s back on this deal -but used 13.99ecb) so total OOP 3.88 for this awesome deal

    • CiCi

I did the tresemme deal and none of the coupons would ring…i don’t know if they were bad coupons, however i had an awesome cashier who just manually took off $1 for each…i honestly think the coupons were bad…

also, dry idea was on clearance for $.82 and i had a $2 off coupon…it took all the $2 off and i got all the overage!!!

    • Just an update on the One a Day deals – I went at lunch today, and was able to get two packs of the Women’s Active Mind and Body formula (9.99 each) plus an item to get me over $20, and use a $4 off 20 AND the $4, $2 and $1 coupons Jenny listed – all three for the two products. Woohoo! Makes it 74 cents each after ECB’s. I’m going back to get another of these deals tomorrow. I left one of the coupons at home from the other copy of the paper :-)

    • CiCi – I had the same problem with the Tresemme’s. My cashier was also great and manually took them off, but he said people had been bringing them in all day and they would not scan. He showed me a bag full of coupons (those and others) that he has already collected today and we both laughed.

    • Stephanie near Orlando

CVS Deal to share…I stopped into CVS for a quick trip today, 4/21, and found Folger’s coffee (13 oz) 3 for $3. I also bought 2 One-A-Day Cholesterol Plus vitamins, on clearance for $5.15 ea. Used the $4/2 One-A-Day, a $.25 Folger’s coupon, and $6.99 ECB. Total out of pocket $2.06, received $4 in ECB from vitamins (didn’t auto-print, but cashier printed after sale for me as I did buy 2 vitamins). I spent $2.06 OOP, and saved $33.19. I also had a $5 off $25 or more, and save $5 wyb $15 Tresemme, VO5, or St. Ives. Thanks for all of the great deals shared!

    • Dianna

Hi I just wanted to share a sad experience I had @ CVS today. I was looking one aisle on the next aisle over there was a cashier & a lady ( maybe a friend of the cashiers???). They were talking fairly loudly so I couldnt help but hear the connversation. They were discussing people using coupons & getting ECB’s ETC. They were saying “they should be arrested there should be a Law against that, they are already getting a good deal anyway HOW can that be allowed” & On & ON. I just recently started couponing & am really excited about all the good deals I am getting. I have 2 small children & work part time.. Anyway I can save moeny helps!! As you all know! :)
I am SAD to know there is such a negative oulook on people who use coupons. BUT, I will continue to use them!!!! I am sad in a way. Does this happen to any of you guys? I guess I just needed to Get this out becuse it is SAD!! the coupons are here for us to use. NOTHING is illegal or unethical about it. Thank you to all of you who post deals & help us all out! AND BIG BIG thanks to JENNY!!!!!
      Have a good day!

    • Stefanie

Dianna, I am so sorry you experienced that. Ppl say stuff like that all the time. I don’t understand the hatred some ppl have for coupons. I mean, companies print them and distribute them for a reason. I think it is a jealousy factor, myself. They are mad and jealous that they aren’t getting the deals themselves. So, instead of asking someone “Hey, how do you do that?” they just talk bad about them. Just like bullies in school. Scared of what they don’t understand! :)

    • Shannon in ATL

Just wanted to point out some deals I found at my CVS today in ATL…

Adidas Anti Perspirant INTENSIVE is 50% off…2.50…there is a $1 off coupon plus you get your 2 ECB

Also OB 40 count tampons are 65% off around $3.25 then I had 1.50 off coupons

    • Val

      Angela in Atlanta,

Were you able to use the $4 off 20 today? It says that the coupon expired Sunday 4/19. Is that the one you used or is there another one out there?

    • Shon

I just left CVS (in FL) and was able to get the Aveeno deal 3 times. My receipt still does not show limit has been reached!!! Does this mean I’ll be able to get the deal again? If so, its one of my best hauls yet.

    • Kristen

I’m sorry those people said those things! You should never feel bad about taking advantage of coupons and saving money!!! Anyone who says coupons and ECBs should be illegal is probably not a very intelligent person. I, personally, would not shop at CVS (or get my prescriptions filled there) if they did not have the Extra Care Program. Those in charge of the corporate decisions for CVS understand that the majority of their customer loyalty is due to the Extra Care Program. They would discontinue the program and change their coupon policies if it was not profitable to CVS!!! You just keep saving money and don’t worry about the coupon haters, lol!!!!! They are the ones missing the deals!!!

    • Kristen

I’ve never had ECBs deducted when I used ECBs. You should call customer service, if you haven’t already.

      Kim and Jenny (also),

I also received the 4.49 ECB when I purchased the Softsoap for 4.99. I did not get a $1 ECB the next time I used my card. However, when I used my 4.49 ECB on my next purchase, it actually took 4.99 off my purchase.

    • deltagal

Is there any way to verify the source of the Tresemme coupon? Mine also wouldn’t scan, but the cashier manually deducted it. However, I’m started to wonder based on peoples comments. I’m just wondering how we can verify the source of coupons, so we don’t involuntarily participate in anything illegal.

    • Dianna,

I would be tempted to complain about the cashier’s behavior. If the company had a problem with it, they wouldn’t be offering the ECB program to begin with! Furthermore, no one is “losing” money. Certainly not the cashier, or another customer. My biggest peeve is when they act as though the amount of the coupon is coming out of their pocket! Luckily this doesn’t happen often. The cashiers I choose regularly are couponers as well, and are excited to see me save money! A WalMart cashier once even gave me tips and resources for finding coupons.

    • Kathy

I just got back from CVS dri idea roll on is on clearance. I got Dri Idea w/2.00 coupon
Dove Skin Vitalizer w/ 3.75 coupon
      Crest w/1.00 coupon
      got 2

    • Kathy

Hit submit accidently to finish previous comment I got 2.00 extra care bucks back and I made 1.60 on the deal!!
      Thanks! Kathy

    • Lots of goodies! The TRESemme deal isn’t Limit 2, as I found out by accident…

Also enjoyed the unplanned overage from the $5 Lumene coupon!

      We love CVS!

    • CiCi

went and did the aveeno deal today:

      4 for $25
      had a $5 off $25 coupon
      used a $2 off 1 product
used the $10 off 3 products (yep the cashier let it go through!)
oop was 9.89 and i got 10 ecb back!!!!

    • Stacie

About the Act Mouth Wash, in my circular it says $4.99 with $2 ECB, so with the $1 off coupon, it is still $1.99. I saw that you have that it’s suppose to be $3.?? making it .79 after the coupon and ECB.

    • Amy in LA

For post #57 – Jamey…. I had been wondering the same thing for months. LOL… in my store there is a scanner right next to the magazine display by the pharmacy. It is a regular price scanner. I scanned my card just to see if that’s what they were talking about and the machine said “thanks for scanning your card. Your coupons are printing.” and I had the coupons come out of the side of the machine. I had no idea!

Hope that answers your question. It is the price scanner.

    • Amy in LA

I went today and was super excited! I got 2 of the Jergens Natural Glow products for $8 each and a Crest mouthwash for $2.88.

I used a $5 off $15 skin care purchase coupon, 2 of the $1 off Jergens Natural coupons that came in the newspaper, $1 off Crest rinse from the newspaper, and $10 in extra bucks to pay.

I only paid $1.21 including tax AND I got $7 back. Yay!

    • Brandi

I had to go and check out our CVS clearance deodernt (still with al lthe regular priced deoderant) and there were tons of different brands on clearance. I got
Mens Degree for $1.25 – used a $1 Qpon from Paper
      Ban Roll on $1.75 – bought 2 used 2 x $2 printable qpon
      Old Spice small 89¢ – bought 2 used 2 x $1 qpon
Old Spice Clinical Stregnth $2.00 – Used $2 qpon fro P&G book
and got my free nuts with the CRT
I left paying our high sales tax of $2.12 not bad for getting 6 deoderants and 2 small bags of cashews!
My store in OKC was out of the Dove vitalizers but said they would be getting another shipment in tomorrow.

    • Stacy

I went to CVS today and the Dove Revitalizer was $8.49. Has someone found it for $4 a piece? Did my store forget to change the price? We are talking about the vibrating face cleansing item, right? Thanks for your help!

    • Jamey

      Thanks Amy in LA!!
I asked a (very young) cashier last time I was at CVS about a price scanner that printed coupons and she had no idea what I was talking about. I’ll look around back by the pharmacy next time I go! I did get a $5 off $25 that printed with my ECBs last time I was at CVS too. Every little bit helps. Thanks for answering my question…;)

    • Amy in LA

Jamey… you’re welcome. Look all over your store – yours might not be by the pharmacy. If you can’t find it just ask someone where the price scanner is. Don’t mention anything about printing coupons so they dont get all confused. LOL

    • Markeeta

I am so happy about the Aveeno deal I got at CVS. I don’t use it, but my niece has eczema and needs it. I was able to use the $10/3 Q and the $2/1 Q. I also bought the Act Total Care and used a $1/1 Q. I had a $5 off of $25 and $10 ECB.

My OOP was $3.04 including tax. I was able to bless the baby girl with all those products and still walk away with $12 in ECB. This was a great deal!

    • Brandi

I just got a $5 off of $30 emailed to me a few minutes ago! WooHoo!

    • Stacie

I had a great day at CVS today!

      I bought:
      (2) $7 Aveeno Products
      (2) $6 Aveeno Products
      (2) Crest Pro White
      (1) Edge Infused
      (1) Bayer Crystals
      (1) Sweetarts (my son had to have his “sweethearts”)
      (1) Welch’s juice (for my sister)

      (2) .75 cent crest coupons
      (1) $10/3 Aveeno coupon
      (1) $2/1 Aveeno Coupon
      (1) $1 Bayer coupon

      Total before coupons: $39. something
Total After Coupons: $25. 55 Something (it would have been less, but they refused my $4 off of $20, they said that it had already been redeemed, but it made no since to me because I had just printed it out!)

      Used: $24.00 ECB’s

Total out of pocket: .55 cent!

I was so excited! I got another $16 or $17 worth of ECB’s back! That was my best trip so far! I do realize that it could have been much better if I hadn’t had my sister and my children and if they hadn’t made up some reason to not redeem my $4 off coupon. I was a little bummed over that, but I still feel like I did a wonderful job! Oh, yeah! I had to buy two $7 and two $6 Aveeno products because they gave me a fit about the coupons! I had to go back and see if they had anything else, but everyone had already grabbed up all of the Positively Radiant products, but she went ahead and did it since I really didn’t have a choice! I was also upset that I had lost $1 there, but as I said, I still feel that I did well! I’m new to this thing, I’ve only been doing it for about a month now, that was my best trip thus far! I guess I just need to start getting in there a little earlier in the week!

Thanks a million for everything that you do! I use a lot of your suggestions for my grocery and CVS shopping.

      Thanks again!

    • Brandi

I got the $5 off of $30 earlier today so I printed it off and went to CVS along with all my Aveeno coupons
      I got:
      4 x $6 Aveeno Lotions
      2 x $2.99 aveeno lotions
      1 Vickery & Clarke Chap Stick ($1.74)
2 small bags of cashews (79¢)
      I used
$5 off $30 CVS Email coupon
      2 x $10 off Aveeno printables
$2 off GE nuts (Printed again for me today)
1 x Vickery & CLarke from RIB Mags

      My total came to $5.81
Ran out of ECB’s so I OOP this amount and got my $10 ECB’s for the Aveeno deal
Basically I paid 74¢ for the lip balm and sales tax…Feel prettty good about this deal. Most of the Aveeno stuff was already gone, so I was lucky, after I got my 6 there were only 2 left at that store. I could have gone and repeated the deal at the next store, but I had chores to do at home…LOL
I did have to run into our Buy for LEss grocery store for sme 99¢ Imperial Sugar that’s on sale and ending up getting the Large 2lb tub of Imperial margarine for 89¢ and a 24 pk of Kraft singles for 89¢…I loaded up on both! :-)
      So I had a great day…

    • Rachel

Just FYI…there is a bunch of baby stuff on clearance at CVS, but it is marked as 25% but it is really 75%, so Gerber Stage 2 Carrots, Squash, Strawberry Banana, and Fruit Mix were only $0.42. Also there were a few teething toys that were normally 5 that I got for 1.00. If anyone hasn’t done there shopping yet, these were great fillers..then I cleared the shelves–it was only 8 packs of food.

Oh, I live in North Atlanta (Dunwoody)

    • i just came from cvs and the one on pelham rd they are so nice.i bought:
      3)aveeno lotions for 6.00
      1)aveeno lotion 7.00
      i used the 4 off of 20
the coupon for 10.00 off of three and the 2.00 off of one
it wasnt a bad deal tried to not use any ecb to try for free but end up using two $2.00 ecb total came to 5.40 then i got the 10ecb!!then i used the 10 ecb for the tide laundry detergent!!

    • jenny i have a question for you to bad we cant get a text on our cell phone when offers are being posted it would be nice are there any plans in the future!!!!!!thank you

    • Andrea

I live in NC but I am in FL for vacation. I went to a CVS to get the ECB April deal on Natural Dentist Rinse which I was suppose to get $4 ECB for each bottle (I bought 2)–they have been out of them in NC. The manager said they don’t print ECB and they did not have any flyers in the store to verify that it was a April ECB. He said they have to manually do all the ECB so I figure most people don’t get them at all. I had a April ECB booklet in my car which I was going to get but he mannually did it for me without seeing the flyer. I was wondering if this is how all CVS work in FL. I was at the one in Orlando at I Drive and Apoka Vineline (near Disney).

    • Timea

woohoo just checked my mail and got another $4off20 coupon… more aveeno here i come tomorrow :D (can I keep printing this coupon and do 2 more aveeno deals?)

      • Jenny

If the coupon is a 13 digit coupon their system will only let you use it once. After you use it, if you try again it will alert the cashier and even give them the date and time it was redeemed.

    • Amy in LA

maaaaaan….. why didn’t I get any coupons in my email this time? I am jealous.

    • Timea

Thanks Jenny, hmmmm just counted it is a 12 digit coupon (it starts with a 4 then 5digits then 5 digits and ends with a 5)

      • Jenny

Then you can probably use it again if you would like.

    • Sheila

Today I got $75.52 worth of stuff for only $6.30 at cvs.

      Thank you.

    • Kristen

A CVS I stopped by today had a 25.75 oz. can of Bright Beginnings Infant Powder Formula (I’ve never use this brand but it is comparable to Enfamil Lipil Formula) on clearance for 4.25. Also had Lansinoh 36ct nursing pads on clearance for $1.50!!!! I bought those and the Dove SkinVitalizer….spent 6.68, saved 29.72!!!! I was so excited about the savings I forgot to use my 5ECB from the Biore…lol!!! I love CVS!!!

    • Brandi

I stopped at another CVS today and they had a ton of the $2.99 bars and small lotions from Aveeno. I bought
      7 x $2.99 bars and lotions = $20.93
      1 x $6.00 large lotion
TOtal came to $26.93 before taxes

      I used
      2 x $10 printable
      1 x $5 printable
      Taking off $25.00 from $26.93

I also got 4 more free bags of cashews for .79¢ = $3.16
Used 2 x $2 CRT coupons taking $4 off of $3.16 leaving me with 84¢ overage
I paid $1.09 OOP and got back $10 ECB’s for the Aveeno deal.
At the bottom of my receipt it still shows the Aveeno deal not reached limit, so I can possibly do this deal again. If I would have still had my $5 / $30 Icould have used that for more overage but I used it on the first Aveeno deal.

Still I have $22.00 in ECB’s from the last 2 days and I have only OOP $ 6.90
Also I have been to 4 storesand EVERYONE here in OKC is OUT of the Dove Vitalizer! Makes me mad! LOL
I am not giving up tough. I am going on a short road trip with family tomorrow and I am taking my couponizer with me for any CVS on the way! LOL

    • Dianna

For those of you who have the CVS out of stock for the dove skin vitalizer, just ask for a rain check. The item is “Sale” so they will give rain check. I have been trying all week to get one & tonight I asked for a rain check & they gave me one for 2!!!! Hope this helps those of you who havent been able to pick one up!!! Also, I got a $5.00 off 1 coupon in a home mailer “unilever” that was on the front of the mailed walmart add this week. Keep an eye out for it :)!
