hiee can someone pls tell me…if Gillette Proglide is a new deal? or if done last week and if receipt says limit reached…means its 1 per month?

      • Relaxwithdiane

its a new deal for this week, but its a month long promo, so you can only do it 1 time.

        • Samplesfun

means…that even if i have done it last week i can still do it 1 more time in this month?

          • Sarah

If it stays on your receipt week after week as “limit reached” then you cannot do the ECB deal again. For instance, with the Biotrue actually being a monthly deal instead of just this weeks advertised deal, the Biotrue will stay at the bottom of your receipt until August.

      • She doesn't have (month-long) next to it, so not sure if it is new for this week or a month long deal?????

      • Anonymous

Gillette Pro-Glide is indeed a reset starting this week. Meaning, fort the last week. It starts all over again, but I am not sure if it is a monthly deal or just this week and next week will be a new reset.

    • Beth

Jenny, check the math on the Neutrogena. :)

    • Do I have to buy 2 to get B1G1 deal at CVS?

      • yes.

      • Sarah

At CVS, the B1G1 actually rings up with the free one being $0 and the other being the full price (instead of them each ringing up 1/2 price) – so you do not technically have to get 2 products…but you may as well since it will be the same price.

    • Bamabobbie

I can't get the neutrogena site to work. Says I'm alredy a member and then doesn't recognize my email addy when I try to log in that way?????

      • Mrsshya

The same thing happened to me. I then keyed in my email addy and clicked “forgot password”. After waiting an hour and no password appeared in my inbox, I registered again, same info, using a different email addy and the coupon came through. Hope this helps!

    • Lori

Yes CVS has a true bogo….it's not like Publix where you get half price.

    • Guest

Has anyone had any trouble getting the FB welch's coupon?

      • MaryT

I did. When I “liked” them, I got a messages saying, “Check back soon…” Does that mean I missed it or that it's not been posted to FB yet?

      • Marinka115

I printed it maybe 2-3 weeks ago. So I don't think they have it anymore.

      • LuvthisStuff

        yes I am

    • Afy1229

Can we get the bausch and lomb deal again, or will last week count for the monthly deal??

      • Beth

It's 2 for the whole month, so if you got 2 this week you're done.

        • LuvthisStuff

on the flyer it says Limit 1

      • Jboyd

if you purchased 2 last week you are done for the month. It will show at the bottom of your receipt.

    • Crystalkell

Where is the Enfamil Gentlease coupon? I'm not seeing it anywhere.

    • Jboyd

Tylenol Pain Relieving Cream or Heat Patch found $2 Manf c/o pad in front of product.

    • Jboyd

I discovered the buy 2 CVS pantiliners @.50 get $1ecb limit 1 this week is limit 3, **you have to buy them on seperate transactions to get the deals. I think it may be a month long limit of 3.

      • christi

do you know if the limit 3 means 3 deals–so like 3 total pantiliners or does it mean 6 total? i am a cvs newbie! thanks!

        • Jboyd

3 deals (6 pantiliners) Just remember to do them seperate. I tried doing 2 deals together to see if it would work and only $1 printed out so I had her take it off and re-ring it. That worked. That's why they have to be done on seperate transactions. I used the $1 from the first to pay for the second and so on.

          • christi

that's what i thought! thanks so much!!!

        • sealey5

It means that you can get up to 3 of that item. Hope that helps!

    • kiki

whats up with the welch's coupon? I “like” it on facebook. where is the q?

      • sonyapell

They ran out a while back.

    • Bryarsmom

Not sure how some sites are posting the Neutro Clinical will be FREE after MIR. Their site is offering a $5. Q and a $15. MIR. That's not going to cover the $34.95 price advertised.

      Your thoughts?

      • Kristen

un have to register for the 5 dollar off coupon and after that the free mail in reabate form was available at the top right hand corner!!

      • caseyandgrantsmom

They have 2 different rebates. The link above goes to the Try for Free Rebate. Check the dates and product requirements first. Up to $40 rebate is for purchases of Night or Eye between 7/11 – 7/18.

    • sealey5

Whoo hoo! This is gonna be a good week to shop at CVS for me! I got a q out of the machine at CVS for $2 off metamucil, so that's a good deal, plus I drink the stuff religiously, lol :) Happy Happy Joy Joy :) Plus i'm gonna get a $10 rebate wyb $30 worth of metamucil and another item (pepto Bismol) :) How convenient is that, i'll be halfway there buying these two items! :)

    • mandy

I am new to this. When you purchase a B1G1 deal at CVS, do you have to purchase 2 or can you get one for half price?

      • Juli

Yes at CVS you do have to purchase 2.

      • Igot5ltlboyz

When there's a B1G1 at CVS, ALWAYS get 2. The first one will ring up and the 2nd one is free. If you just get one, you're leaving your free item on the shelf. If you have a B1G1 coupon for that item, they're both free, you just pay tax!!

      • 2 items needed for BOGO.

    • Kristen

just went on neutros site ad free mail in rebate is available now!!

    • tsunamimommy

Welchs' Facebook says come back later. Later as in when????

      • Momof3sc

mine did it also, they are OUT of coupons for this promotion

    • Amy Q.

Quick question about a coupon deal – with the head and shoulders deal, if I find the blinkie in the store (which I normally dont at my CVS), can I use both coupons or not because of the B1G1? I'm trying to get back into couponing as my morning sickness has finally eased after 5 1/2 months!!

    • Ann

Does anyone know how much the Cottonelle and Advil are?

      • CHI

The Advil was $9.49 at my store last nite.

      • Amanda

Cottonelle was $13.49 in Northwest Ohio so it would be $6.75 each. I have found better deals. Not too long ago it was $4.99 for the same item (had Q's that time too). I'm gonna wait for a better deal. Not a “bad” deal if you need tp.

        • Essielee

Kroger has same Cottonelle for $4.99 this week, which is a better deal.

    • Jacquelyn

Are the GM Granola Bars Nature Valley?? No picture on the ad… Help?

    • Lynn

I can't seem to find the $5 Osteo Bi-Flex coupon anywhere. It's not in my RP 6/06 and it's not on coupons.com… help… is there anywhere else? I already clipped the June All-You coupon for $4

      • Greersw

I have June's All You and I am not going to use that coupon. I'd be glad to mail it to you.

        • Lynn

yes please…not sure if i’ll get it in time. i forgot to check for my reply! lol…i’m at 6935 york pl, cumming, ga 30040

          • Lynn

and thank you very much…why wasn’t the $5 coupon that jenny mentioned showing at coupons.com? just curious if i was looking in the wrong place…thanks again!!

    • Rarafa

On the Neutrogena deal or any others that have a MIR to cover the cost of the product so you can try it for free, if you then use the $5 off coupon, will they reimburse you for the original price of the item or the cost minus the $5 coupon?

      • Deanna

On MIRs…you are reimbursed for the original price of the item before coupons…so you'll make $5 for buying the Neutrogena product if you use the $5 off coupon.

    • april

I just registered my CVS online and got a $4 off $20 purchase. How often will I get one of these or can I print them?

      • Margaretgrauke

I think it's probably just random, or possibly may be triggered by how much out of pocket you spend in the store. I signed up for a card back in January, linked it to my account online to receive e-mails, and since my first initial 4 of 20 coupon I have only received 1 other $/$$ which was a 3/15 months ago. Some people probably just get luckier than others. You can get these either through your e-mail, by scanning your card at the red price checker in the store, or sometimes I've heard of them printing on the bottom of CVS receipts. Hope you have good luck with your card! :)

      • RebeccaFer

If you have your preferences set to receive coupon offers, you should get at least one a month. Make sure you check through your preferences. It's also worth while signing up for the CVS Advisor surveys since you get a lot of goodies there too. Good luck! :D

    • Loren

What zip code can the Neutrogena $5 coupon be found under? I don't see it! Thanks!

    • kcreviews

I tried to get the $5 q off the Neutrogena website, but after I signed up and went to print it, it said that I had already printed it. But I hadn't! I hate it when sites do that. What can I do? Try another computer?

      • lexscully

        Or use a different browser.

I am needing hairspray this week and am not brand loyal but can't find any Q's or stores that are running good deals. Does anyone have any clues as to where I can find a good sale or a Q for hairspray?

      • dannysangel

The Got 2B Hair Stylers 2-12 oz. B1G1 starting at $5.99 is a good brand if they have any hairspray w this deal…

      • Margaret

If John Frieda has hairspray on sale as part of their deal, you could print (2) 2.50 off coupons and use those. The total would then be 10.00 – 5.00 in coupons = 5.00 OOP, and then get back 5 ECB.

        • Jd

Thks so much —never thought of that. I will ck into it. Thks to all who took the time to reply to my request.

        • Razlmz

I just left CVS and if my memory serves me correctly, there WAS some hairspray in teh JOhn Frieda sale….it was the root lifting kind that you can use the $3 q on. Good luck!

      • Razlmz

Check the target link…..there is some free trial size hairspray…two types if i am remembering right. It may not last long but if you have a few of the coupons, you could get a few bottles free which would be a good start.

      • Suemh

Check to see if your store has any Pantene Hair Spray on clearance. If so it would be 2.50 minus any coupon you may have.

      • Suemh

Rite Aid has Rave Hairspray 2 for $4 then you get $1 +Up Reward for buying 2. I love Rave Hairspray.

    • Denise

I have a $5 off Neutro clinical product Q from an All You mag. I think it was the one with the Easter cover. Check your stash before you print from the link, maybe you can save paper and ink!

      • Rebecca

You're right! It is in my March issue. Cutting now…

    • Barbi

I do not think Cottonelle is on sale at CVS this week. I don't see it in their ad and when I went in they were not on sale. I did not notice any comments below about that… could it have been a local deal?

      • Guest

This is for the ad starting on Sunday 7-11

      • Razlmz

It was definitely there…I bought 2! I hope you can find it!

        • Michelle

          How much was the cottonelle?

    • Stephanie in Bham

Anyone needing L'Oreal q's for the above listed, let me know, I have some!

    • Bree

I have a $4 off $20 coupon (sign up) that has to be used by 7/17. I have already used my $3 coupons for John Frieda hair products. I think I still have my $2 coupons. I have pretty much most of the coupons. Should I use the $4 off coupon first? I am not really interested in purchasing $20 worth of stuff since CVS seems expensive to begin with. I can always use toothpaste, Suave items……what are your suggestions??

      • Margaret

Just a quick idea: You could get 2 John Frieda products for 10.00, then get the Suave products scenario Jenny has listed above. Before coupons this would be just above 20.00; when you deduct your CVS coupon w/all the other manufacturer's coupons (using 2 of the 2.50 John Frieda printables) your total would be around 7.14 + tax and you'd get back 8 ECB.

        • Bree

Thanks so much for your help! If I make another purchase, do I have to use all 8 ECBs. In other words, if it is under 8 dollars, does it leave a balance? Thanks again!

          • moneysaved4disney

U do not get a balance back on ECBs, they adjust down to your total or you can add in a filler item such as a pack of gum.

          • Margaret

moneysaved4disney is correct; also, in the above scenario, you would get back 8 ECB total, but it would be in the form of 5 ECB (for John Frieda) and 3 ECB (for the Suave) that you tear off separately from the bottom of your receipt…so if you wanted to use just the 5 or just the 3 for your next purchase you can. However, if your next purchase total only comes out to something like 2.78 + tax and you want to use the 3 ECB to pay for it, you will lose the remaining $.22 from the ECB.

      • Becky

Bree – if you have other manf coupons for items at CVS, get your $20 worth BEFORE coupons, then give them the $4/20 first. Then give them any other coupons. If you're getting big TP and paper towels, you can easily spend 20 bucks before coupons :)

    • Mommadeb

I can't get the cottonelle coupon to print! That stinks :(

    • Becky McG

I found the stack of $4 q's for the B&L Bio True at Wal- Mart Vision Center and got it free their cause it was $4… but if I picked up a couple more q's and used them at CVS that would make these a money maker, right?

      • guest

Depends on the size. These are for the 2 oz. size. What is your Q for?

      • ah the vision center. That's where I messed up! I got mine from the website, seems to let me click the button over and over if I want to…

    • guest

Question: If I shop both sales tomorrow for the Sobe, they will be on sale for .77 and B1G1?

      • Melissa

No. One sell will superceed the other. The register system will ring what it feels is the best deal.

      • Vijtai01

Hi I tried buying Sobe today for this week sale, however CVS (3 stores,in fact) already started selling SoBe for .77 and even after using B1G1 coupon I had to pay .77 for 1 bottle and other bottle I got for free. Thats unfair because the sale ends tonight. But I paid for it anyway since the line was getting longer.

        • Suemh

The same thing happened to me. I was doing 2 transactions with just 2 bottles in each. I paid the 77¢ in the first transaction. Then when she entered my coupon for the second transaction, she entered it as 1.54. Great cashier.

        • Mamaberry

You got to use your BOGO????? My store just told me that they are no longer allowed to accept printables because of so many fraudulent q's out there!! insert sobbing and sad face :( Just emailed corporate to clarify….

        • Amy

The same thing happened to me, but I asked them to honor the B1G1 sale since it was good through Sat. He was able to still do B1G1 and I used my q's. 8 bottles of SoBo for free!

        • Dale

I found that they were out of the Sobe, also. Don't forget to ask for rainchecks. The coupons are good until the end of August. So plenty of time for them to restock and you get your deals.

    • Anne

Is anyone else having problems with the futuro 3M site for braces and supports? I allowed blockups, signed up for the newsletter, and answered the question. The page does not go to another coupon. Am I just suppose to print the original page?

      • Essielee

I could not get the coupon either. I was disappointed because I need a wrist brace.

        • Anne

I finally did get the coupons by IMing the coupon print link from another computer, but when I got to the store to use them, I could not find a wrist anything for $4.69.

    • riggers

I was just checking my local grocers coupons online and they have a $2 biotrue coupon, which would make that freebie a MM. You have to join to get to the coupons but they seem to have a few new ones. Here ya go……. http://unitedsupermarkets.mywebgrocer.com/Coupons.aspx

I did. Had to fill out the product advisor beforehand, sign up and then printed.

      • Razlmz

I got 2 of them. I had to sign up like the other poster said and tell them a bunch of stuff (easy) about my hair. Used 'em both today! :)

I had this same issue in Carrollton, GA. I wonder if they did get word from corporate?

      • Mamaberry

Actually, I have seen the coupon policy in reply to someones email and this was directly commented on. The reply specifically said that if an item is BOGO and you use a BOGO q it IS INDEED technically FREE. However, they are also entitled to change their coupon policy without notice at any time :) sorry! hth

      • Anonymous

This is probably not true. I believe, even if CVS were to change the policy, they could not. Here is why. The argument could be that manuf. got me the Q and promised me to get one free if I bought 1. So I am indeed making a purchase of 2 items as specified in the condition of the Q. I should be entitled to the manuf Q savings as well. Store sales are irrespective of Q use. So, if you were to buy just two, and CVS told you you could not use manuf Q. on two, that would be a direct violation of Q acceptance as you are fulfilling the Q. requirements and therefore, as a consumer you are entitled to the savings.

However, there may be a counter argument, that the one with full price (wether sales or regular price) is the one you are “buying”, and therefore, Q. could be only used for the other one which is costing you $0.00 at the store. Therefore, the manuf Q. value is $0.00, rendering it useless in practical terms.

Ok, aside from all that, I do not think CVs has changed that policy as it will get a big noise on that.

    • L Sherrill

I love CVS! I had an expired coupon for a $25 gift card if you have a new or transferred prescription! The manager let me have the gift card even though the coupon expired… I shop there every week and he appreciates a repeat customer! Antioch TN CVS employees and manamagement You are the BEST!!!!!

      • Suemh

That is great. However, I just had to get a prescription filled that is a monthly one and was trying to find a q for a gift card. I decide to call the pharmacies first to see how much it would be and if a coupon for a gift card was worth it. I knew that it would be at least $200 as I have had the script for a couple of years and have to renew it every 6 months. My local pharmacy was $217. Rite Aid was $269, CVS was $240, as was Publix. Wal-Mart was $210. So, even after a $25 gift card (that I would get with the first fill) from CVS, Wal-Mart was still less. I have no insurance and have to fill this monthly, so over a period of one year, the difference really adds up.

        • Rita

You should check the price of your script at Costco. Costco does NOT require that you be a member to visit the Pharmacy or Tire Center. I recently priced contacts for my brother and checked Walmart, 1800…, and Costco – Costco was more than $50 cheaper for the contacts.

          • Suemh

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check with them, though the closest one is almost 50 miles away. However, It is in the same town as the Publix that I like to shop.

            • Rita

You can check out their online pharmacy too and it looks like you can see prices online – I don’t know if the online and in-store prices are the same but you should really call and find out. And don’t be put off by the selection online as I think (but am not sure) that what they show online is only a small representation of what they carry. This link may work for you http://www.costco.com/Service/FeaturePage.aspx?ProductNo=11486072

            • Suemh

Thanks, Rita. I checked online and did not see it. I will call them to see if they carry it and, if so, how much it is. It would be great to save a few dollars on this.

        • Maria

My CVS will match competitors pharmacy coupons. So I used a Rite Aid coupon for $25 to transfer a RX at Rite Aid to CVS and got a $25 gift card.

        • Mary

I heard that if you go to Costco or Sams, you can get rx's filled, even if you don't belong and they are incredibly cheaper. You might want to call and find out.

    • Carolinagirl_320

I am new at this and was wondering-if I buy 2 of an item that you receive 5 ECB wyb 1 will I get 10 in ECB or do I have to have 2 transactions???

      • Jessdare101

I believe it will tell you a limit and say limit 1 etc. meaning you can only get that many ecb's.

      • Angel_in_Charleston

It depends on the limit. If the limit is 2 you can do 2 separate transactions and roll the ECB OR do together in one transaction and receive ECB for $10. Hope this helps!

      • Anonymous

So the limit is 2 in your transaction. You can buy them both together in one transaction and still get full promised ECBs, so you will get one ECB for $10. It is better though, if you buy them separetly, so your ECB will print $5 each time, making it easier to play with smaller ECBs in furture transactions.

My daughter got that Q from the machine and she used it with no problems on Cover Girl brand make up.

    • Jane

I was in CVS tonight and the manager had to help me locate the new Reinventing Beauty magazine. Right beside the stack of magazines there was a stack of free flyers with all the identical coupons that are in the new magazine. I was delighted to get the coupons without having to purchase the magazines.

    • kidsallgone

Went to CVS about 8pm Sat. night and got:
      1. (1) pkg of 10 pens for .99
      Used a $1 ECB that I had.
      Paid $0.00
      Got back $1 ECB.
      2. (1) small scissors for .99
Used the $1 ECB from #1.
      Paid $0.00
      Got back $1 ECB
      3. (2) CVS pantiliners for $1 total
      Used $1 ECB from #2.
      Paid $0.00
      Got back $1 ECB
      4. (1) Mars w/caramel candy bar 2/$1 = $.50
Used $.50 off one Mars w/caramel candy bar.
      Paid $0.00
      5. (1) Bottle of Dawn liquid soap $.99
Used $1 off Dawn Hand Renewal (asked her if that would be acceptable and she said if the register would take it, it would be fine….and it did!)
      Paid $0.00
      6. (2) bottles of CVS brand Glucosamine Triple Strength whatevers….regularly $55 each.
      On sale for $15 each!

    • Suemh

Does anyone know the price of the cottonelle? I have looked at the ad and it doesn't list the price. I am getting low on tp but I have never bought this kind before. Is it good?

      • Angel_in_Charleston

We love Cottonelle! Don't know how much it costs though. Sorry.

        • Suemh

      • Ashley

I looked yesterday and it was like 12.50 or around there. Sometimes they lower the price for a B1G1 but I would call your store before you go. IF your CVS takes competitor coupons, there is a RiteAid video coupon for 1 off so you can use two and pair with manufacturerer coupons.

        • You’re right. CVS.com has it for 12.49. I think I probably have 2 $1 off Q’s, which would help. That is still a little pricey, though. My CVS does not accept competitor’s coupons. I am just about to run out of Northern Double Rolls that I bought at Rite Aid several months ago for about $3 per 12-roll package after coupons. Guess I am spoiled.

        • Suemh

You're right. Online they are listed at 12.49 for 12 double rolls. Still a bit pricey though. I think I probably have 2 $1 off Q's, which would help. My store does not take competitors' Q's. I am just about to run out of Northern Double Rolls I bought at Rite Aid several months ago for about $3 each per 12pk after coupons. Guess I am spoiled. But then 10.49 divided by 24 rolls is just 48¢ a roll. I guess that's not too bad.

      • toni

$12.49 at my store in GA this AM.

        • Suemh

          Thanks, Toni.

      • toni

$12.49 at my store in GA this AM.

Attention gals who go to the CVS in BALLENTINE. Their Reinventing Beauty magazines are outdated. They have Courtney Cox on their cover. It's supposed to be Cameron Diaz. Just check the coupons inside b/f you purchase. I am taking mine back for a refund b/c the coupons in it expired on 3/2010.

      • Suemh

In one of my stores a while back they had a rack of old issues. Then, close to the register, they had the new one. Your store should have the new one, because they are probably shipped to all stores at the same time. The question is, have they put them out yet.

        • A_shrader

I can't get the magazine at any of the 3 stores I can go to! I'm so frustrated!

oral B pulsar brushes are 2/$5
there was a BOGO insert q from a few weeks back, paired with the $2 from the most recent P&G

      .50 for 2 toothbrushes!!

      • toni

Thanks. I used both of those q's this morning and got both for 50 cents (regular $5.99 each).

        • Abbey

Where was the BOGO??? I have the $2 from the P&G and been through ALL I have and can not find the BOGO. Help!

          • Dianne

It was in the 6/06 Proctor and Gamble insert.

            • Abbey

Found it…Thanks! Just overlooked it earlier.

          • K16immy

I have $3 off an Oral B battery powered toothbrush. Do you know if this would work for the pulsar brushes?

            • Abbey

That is from a RP insert. Check the most recent P&G from 7/04 for the $2 off any 1 pulsar/cossaction/advantage. It was a 2-pg spread in my P&G insert with 5 coupons total for Crest+Oral-B.

            • Mysterious_Mentalist

First of all, Qs are intended for the exact product that it promotes on Qs. In this case, $3 Q is intended for the battery one, not for the regular Pulsar being discussed here.

In most cases, other than PG Qs., you will notice that the first cluster of numbers on UPC codes would be the same for the product as long as the name is the same. Meaning, a $3 Off Q. for Purex with Bleach would have the same first set of clustered number as for, lets say, $2 Off Q. for Purex regular (or some other variety). In both cases, the name “Purex” is common and so are those first set of clustered numbers. As of now, in most cases, the Q. system is not sophisticated enough, so these two types of Qs (on Purex in this example) will scan through for each other variety without any beep or error. That is because the first clustered numbers have been matched with the exact same clustered numbers of the products scanned; and the system wont detect any further variance. But this is NOT something you all should be doing to get higher $ off from one variety of the brand and apply to a less pricy variety of the same for your benefits. Some would suggest that would be a willful misuse of Q., and thus constitutes fraud.

Getting back to PG. They are more advanced. Most products in PG Qs, you will notice that the first cluster is also different set of numbers. For example, the UPC first cluster set is also different for Oral B Pulsar TB from that of Oral B Advantage; Note that the name Oral B is common, but the variety is not. So PG has different set of numbers for each variety as well.

Therefore, your Pulsar power toothbrush Q. may not work for Pulsar manual one, if in fact, the first cluster numbers for both types of toothbrushes are different. (Check and let us know-They might be the same number due to the fact that Oral B and the variety Pulsar is common but the “sub-variety” manual or power is not)

In some cases, however, PG Q coding is more advanced. In which case, even if the first cluster is the same number set for, lets say, Pulsar manual TB and Pulsar power TB (the second set numbers would always be different for each variety), then the Q might still beep.

Typed hastily, so pardon me if it is too complicated. (Note: this is all solely my understanding as I have learned these myself from using logical approach-let me know if I concluded anything wrong)

            • Guest

I have had both a cashier and manufacturer employee sampling a product in the store point out the first few numbers of the UPC code and tell me to always try the coupon, if it doesn’t work, so be it. If the manufacturers thought this was fraud their employees wouldn’t recommend it & they would change their UPC’s like P & G. JMHO

            • Anonymous

This is incorrect to imply that manuf. intended to let loose the use of Q for any variety that it had not described in actual text just because the upc coding did not beep or was not different. Only the first set of UPC coding is the same for the “name” and the rest cluster numbers are unique to the “variety.” Even if variety numbers are different, Qs do not beep as long as the first cluster matches the upc code on the product.

I would not trust employees who are no better educated than any average joe on street. After all they are just low level hires. Moreover, the supposed manuf. sampling employees are seasonal/temp contractors and do not represent manufacturers from their actual corporate world.

On a side note, I think that they are keeping the first upc code same for the product name and just invent new varieties under the same name is because they have to spend too much money in licenses and requirements to the governme nt to get a new upc coding. So they simply continue the same tree with different branch-I think

Also, chaning the coding for each variety is an enormous and massive taking as they will have find and apply new coding for the product, but also the retailers registers will have to be upgraded to absorb the new change efficiently.

Had an awesome CVS trip today! Got 2 Olay Regenerists w/ Touch of Foundation for a $1 a piece. (They were marked down to $4 & I used a $3 Q on each one). Also got the pens & the scissors. OOP $4.58 with tax & got back $1.98 in ECBs. Lovin CVS & Southern Savers!!

    • Julie Brooks1002

Forgot to say in my post before that my savings was $40.98. Yippee!

    • Cindy in Alpharetta

Went to Welch's on FaceBook and “liked” them. No coupons for grape juice. It just said to look for promotions soon. :0(

      • Stephanie in Daphne

        go to welchs.com/promotions

      • tammyj

The same happened to me. Welchs.com/promotions only has a $1.00 coupon :(

      • Guest

        Happened to me too!!! sad…

      • WynetteC

If it makes you feel any better, I actually got this exact coupon a few weeks ago by “liking” them and it gave only one print. I just looked at the coupon and noticed it expired July 2nd. Plus, I would've needed 2 coupons to make the deal work right to 50 cents each so that would defeat the one coupon print.

    • Rebecca

I went this morning and feel good about my trip. I got the scissors, pens, cg wetslicks (the cheapest lip I could find at my store was $5.49), cottonelle (thought $12.49 was steep for two, but paid it anyway, to use the ECBs in my last transaction), 2 neutrogena sun (sprays – $10.49 & 11.24 at my store), 2 biotrue drops, 1 complete solution, 2 off! refills (had rain checks and $3. off coupons, so free), 2 scunci, 1 neutrogena ALL OF THIS STUFF (3 different transactions) for about $47 and change, and am expecting $34.99 back for the neutrogena. I used the e-gift card I bought around mothers day, so I didn't have to use anything out of our checking acct!!!! Okay, now that I am typing it out, I realize I did really good. Thanks Jenny!

      • Colleen N

I was going to do the Cottonelle BOGO deal too, but at $12.49!! That is SUPER pricey, even for CVS so I didn't do it! Even Wags regular price on the same is $6. But you did great on your deal!

        • Suemh

Thanks for your post. I was wondering if I was the only one who thinks this is too pricey, even at BOGO. My tp is getting low but I can not resign myself to this price. However, the ad does say that they are double rolls.

          • Stephanie

Walmart has their cottonelle 12 pack on sale for a little under $6 – with the $.50 coupon in today's paper – you can get two 12 packs cheaper than the bogo at cvs.

            • mb's mom

The cottonelle 12 pack is on sale at Kroger for $4.99 – $1 off coupon from the July All You Magazine…this is the best deal I have found on the cottonelle.

          • Fgavent

My Walmart has the Angel Soft 12 count double rolls for $4. I used the .50 coupon from a recent insert.

      • Pinkandblackcrazy

I found a 50 cent off coupon in this sunday's paper and kroger has it on sale so with the coupon if the store doubles coupons makes it 3.99 for a 12 pack

    • tlw

Can you use 2 coupons when you are purchasing a product that is BOGO, such as the Cottenelle?

      • tammyj

    • tammyj

Does anyone know what exactly the limit 1 means? Is it one per person, transaction or CVS card? I bought some things this morning and want more.

      • tlw

1 per CVS card i think.

      • Val

        CVS card

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

        A) If it is a sale with ECB, then it is limit that sale week per card, or possibly per month for that card if its a monthly deal. You will be welcome if you want to buy more but ECB wont print any more after the limit has been reached-You will still get the sale price though if it was on sale.

        B) If there is no offer of ECB but just the advertised sale price for the week, then it is limit per transaction-I believe so (anyone please correct me if I am wrong)

    • Lauramths

i just started “cvsing” today i spent 20.98, saved 21.98 and received 15.00 in ecb….needless to say im going back, also the products i bought came with 2 dollar off coupons in each product!!

    • Connie

Just noticed on the Save $5 off your Purchase of $25 or more that it says at the bottom that it is also a $4 off $20 purchase. Also, I was told that you can use 2 if your subtotal is $50, 3 for $75…… The first thing I do when I go in is scan my card at the coupon center. Thanks for all of your help. I just love CVS and Southern Savers!!!!

    • I went today, I bought the pens, the scissors, the contact solution, a razor ($3.00 in today's paper), Reeses Peanut Butter candy, and some ear cleaner (regular price). All together I spent $2.00, using only one coupon, and my ECBs. I went in with $7 ECBs and left with $2 worth. I am pleased.

    • Anonymous

Found a $2 coupon for the Complete contact solution….( I didn’t have the one from the newspaper )

      • Kim

This is the Canadian website for complete. The coupon won't work (the barcode will look different, too).

        • 3monkeysmom

          Oh, that stinks :-(
          Thanks for the heads up!!

    • jessc5

The month long deals like the Biotrue Contact solution is a limit of 2, but does that mean for the month or each week it is advertised?

      • Kgby13

for the month…if you bought 2 last week, you cant buy 2 this week

    • ToddDu

Going to post in the bigger selections. I have a lot of infant formula coupons/checks that I won't be using

Help! I don't understand something. I went to the class however, when a product is listed in black and there are multiple red lines under, I can't use all of those, correct? is it a pick and choose which coupon deal you want?

      • jessc5

        Just one!

      • DonnaTN

It's really for you to choose one but it also shows a list of what coupons are out there for that product and also lets you know if you have that coupon.

    • Kat15

      My trip today:
      2 Cottonelle tp- b1g1 $12.49 ( used 2-$1 q's from walmart sample)

      1 scissors .99

Also used 5ecbs, spent $10.22 total, and got 2- .99cent ecbs for nxt time! :)

    • Bree

When it says limit 1, does that mean it is limited to one per day or week??

      • Val

Week, unless it's a month long deal.

      • Bethann_n

It's one per visit I've gone in CVS every day for the entire week and got a sale item that said limit one I've also gone into CVS more than one time in a day and bought the sale item that says limit one

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

I need help with B1G1 4×6 Prints, please! Does anyone know where to find the coupon code so I can apply the discount to the online order I've just created? The sales circular online shows the B1G1, but there's no code to apply online. Thanks!!

    • guest

No printables left for this offer:
Suave Hair Care 12-22.5 oz. or Styler 9-11 oz. $1.66
-$1/2 Suave Professionals Shampoo or Conditioner, RP 7/11 or printable

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

For Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide razor, you can use $4 off Q., instead of $2, out in PG 6/6/10 if you still have it. It is valid until 7/31. The Q. states “any Fusion razor” so it does cover Fusion Pro-glide the newer one.

      • Tlbmcguirecoupons

Just used one of the $4 q's on the razor here in Cartersville, GA.. Was unable to get limit of 3 on the cvs liners. Didn't have time to argue with them over $1 cuz I had to get back to work and it just wasn't worth it to me. Did good though…. Got Complete Solution Lens cleaner, Fusion Razor and 4 CVS liners.. Spent $1.42 and still have $6 CVS Bucks left.

    • Caritob40

I have a question..At CVS and RiteAid, when a product is Buy1 Get1 Free, can you use 2 coupons ?, for instance the COLGATE TOTAL, is BOGO, can I use two coupons?

      • Connie

Yes, use those (2) coupons and save, save, save!

        • sealey5

Yes, and get the least expensive toothpaste so you know you're getting the very best deal! i got 2 Colgate Whitening toothpaste for $0.88 because of the q's. I live in Fl so we can't double the q's, even though the q's were $1 each so it didn't matter anyway! :)

    • Ddeoliver

Question about the Reinventing Beauty mag…where are the coupons in the mag? I picked one up yesterday and stupid me didn't look thru it first. I got home and the only thing in mine is a Colgate q on the back cover and a Quick Trim one inside. Are the other q's on a pullout or something that was probably taken from mine?

      • WynetteC

Then take it back to the store, I am sure the manager will allow you to swap it out. That's what I am doing to the magazine I bought at a CVS this last weekend; although it did have all the coupons in it, but they all expired in March 2010. Appears CVS forgot to pull their OLD magazines and stock the new ones.

    • mb's mom

Just wanted to see if others were aware…I went to do my CVSing last night…got GREAT deals. One was the John Frieda stuff for the $5 ECB's. I actually made $ off the deal because I had 2 $2.50 coupons and when I got to the store, there were $1 coupons on the products I was buying, so I made $2 after receiving the ECB's! AWESOME! But, when I got home and looked at the receipt, I noticed that at the bottom where it shows you that your offer limit has been reached, it said I could still do the John Frieda deal again! WOW! Got another coupon, so I went in and did it a 2nd time…still got another $5 ECB's…looked at receipt again…says I can do the deal again! WOW! Wanted to share this great deal!

      • Natalie559

just fyi- most peelies you find on products are manufacturer coupons and the coupons you printed were manufacturer coupons also. You can stack a store and man coupon together, but, 2 man coupons shouldn't be stacked and used on the same item.

      • AJ

Ooooh, the John Frieda deal is Limit 2!!! I got more qs and more ecbs. Back to CVS I go! thanks for the heads up!!

        • Parker

It's a limit of three deals but you have to do them separately.

      • Freedomspradley1

Our circular said limit 1 per card on the John Frieda. I'll try it again bc it's worth it at $2.50 ea but hopefully I can repeat the deal like you. Wish me luck!!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

So they let you use two manuf Q on one item actually. I am assuming the one attached to the product were also manuf Q. Two manuf Qs, even if their face values are different from each other, can not be stacked to apply to the 1 quantity of the product. One or the other must have beeped and the cashier probably had pushed it through.

        • mb's mom

Well, not sure, but I know they let me use them both at my store.

        • tschmoka

Sometimes CVS puts CVS coupons on the product. They did this with Pantene on clearance. The coupons attached to Pantene bottles were CVS coupons.

    • Gettobobs

I noticed the Covergirl's new Lip stain lipstick was on sale at Walmat for $3.97-4.97, at CVS it is 8.99. Even at B1G1 this isnt really a great deal. Do they mark up their prices alot or what? I guess it would be good if you had ECBs to spend, but even then you are almost wasting them on a bad deal.

    • Brownebaby

Does anyone know how you are to make $5 profit after the rebate for Neutragena Clinical products. If you use the $5 off coupon wont they just reinburse you for what you paid (less the $5) Please help.

      • Mom-a-3-boys

Good point! How are you to “make $5 profit”?

      • Gingiraffe

Most of the time the rebates will send you the sale price, not the final price after coupons. This is not always the case, but it usually specifies it on the rebate form if it is after coupons. It asks you to circle the price of the item. When it rings up, it will show the item at the lsited price, not the price after the coupon is applied. This is what you circle and what you will get back in the rebate. So the coupon is your money back essentially.

    • Janey

I can't seem to find the CVS pantiliners that are $.50. What do they look like and where are they in the store?

      • LuvthisStuff

they are right next to the Carefree Brand, The 22 ct.

      • nancyatl

When I went to buy the liners, they were not marked correctly. However, I scanned them in the scanner + the price was correct (.50). Also, I got the 1 ECB.

      • Punkindoodl

I went to my CVS store in Prattville, Alabama yesterday and they said they didn't have this deal. I even had them scan the pantiliners and they were regular price. Is this a regional deal?

      • momof5

I went to the Prattville CVS (the old one) on Sunday and I did get the pantiliner deal.

    • Karen

Another thing to remember is the Cottonelle 12 pk does not claim to be the same as a 24 pk. Look at the label. Northern Quilted 12 pk = 24. Just pointing it out in case you aren't brand loyal. Also, CVS has the SOBE now for 77 cents and they have no problem taking the B1G1 cpns from the Sobe game. Still a good deal.

      • colagirl

Mine was the 12 pack equal to 24 pack in my store.

    • WynetteC

Futuro Wrist Supports must be out of coupons, did not work when I tried signing up for the coupon, it said “All out of free samples”. I wonder if by free it meant the $3 coupon that they were already out of.

    • slocklair

I got a great deal with the 19.99 similac. I bought 3 and used a $10 on a $50 purchase CVS coupon also used $7 ECB I had. AND some very nice person tucked a $2 off coupon on the formula shelf as a bonus! I rarely have enough to use the 10/50 and a light bulb went on when I saw the ad!

    • AJ

My best deal yet (and I've had some really good ones!):

      1 pack pens – $.99
      1 scissors – $.99
      2 cvs pantiliner packs – $1
      1 bottle contact solution – $7.99
      1 John Freida Shampoo – $5
      1 John Freida Conditioner – $5
      2 Oral B Pulsar Toothbrushes – $5

      Total Before Qs: $25.97

      – $5 off $25 CVS coupon from coupon printer
      – $3 off John Freida
      – $3 off John Freida
      – $2 off Oral B Pulsar toothbrush
      – $2 off Oral B Pulsar toothbrush
      – $2 off contact solution

      Total After Qs: $8.97
Use ECB in hand from previous deals: $8.97

      Total = tax only!
      Newly printed ECB: $15.97!

    • Southern Saver 2

ANYBODY print CVS prints online using the B1G1 code? I need help with B1G1 4×6 Prints, please! Does anyone know where to find the coupon code so I can apply the discount to the online order I've just created? The sales circular online shows the B1G1, but there's no code to apply online. Thanks!!

      • Southern Saver 2

Found out the answer. There's no online code. Discount only for 1 hour photos. Select 1 hr. and add EC card #, then price will automatically be discounted with B1G1. Awesome deal. THANKS to Southern Savers for the heads up! Saved me lots of $$!

    • Gingiraffe

I was not going to do the L'Oreal Everpure/Everstrong deal because I have SO much shampoo and conditioner already, but I noticed that half of the ones on the shelves had a freebie travel size (2oz) bottle attached. Bought 3, used 3 $2 coupons, got $5 back and got 6 oz in travel sizes for free! A regular size is 8.5 oz, so that is almost another whole bottle free!

    • Newrn1999

Would you mind telling me where i might find the CVS and Walgreens coupon policy. I would like to print them out so if I am ever in a bind I can refer back to it and show the cashiers what I have printed. Thanks.

    • DealHunter

I am new to this and have a couple of questions. In this weeks ad it says spend $20 get $10 ecb when you buy any Excedrin, Benefiber…… Does this mean I can buy just 1 of those products and then purchase any other products to = $20 or do I have to buy $20 of the products listed? Also can I use the $5 ecb for $25 along with that deal or would I have to Spend an additional $25?

      • Margaret

You will have to buy $20.00 worth of the products they have specifically listed/included in that deal to get back 10 ECB; usually they will have tags under those products to tell you if it's included or not. And yes, you can use the $5/$25 coupon in the same transaction (no need to buy an extra $25 of stuff)! :)

    • Tooeypew

this week the sobe lifewater 20 oz is only .77, and if you use the b1g1 coupons from before that makes them .39 each! Not bad! :)

ALSO, this week they have the bic soliel shimmer razors for 3.99, and this weeks paper had $3.00 off coupons for them… so they end up being .99!

      • Tooeypew

btw, the coupon for the soleil is for the disposables, but it DOES work for the shimmer, i got one today. :)

    • Margaret

      This week I got:
      .99 pens
      .99 scisors
      20.00 John Freida (4 products)
      9.97 Fusion ProGlide razor
      19.98 Neutrogena Suncare (2 products)

all for .99 + tax!! Yay!! I started out with 15 ECB and did multiple transactions from there to lower my OOP expense. To give you an idea of how it worked out, I started out by purchasing 2 John Frieda with coupons and 5 ECB. Then I purchased the pens with 1 ECB from my green bag tag, and then purchased the scissors with the .99 ECB from the pens. I bought the razor next, using coupons and 6 ECB, got 5 ECB back…. then bought more John Frieda with coupons and 5 ECB from the razor, and got 5 more ECB back. Then I finally used my remaining 10 ECB+5 from John Frieda to buy the Neutrogena, and get 10 ECB back….whew!! Complicated, I know…but this way I can maximize my ECB and spend less OOP! Plus I can scan my green bag tag more times…that thing has given me back so many dollars in ECB.

Hooray for Souther Savers and saving TONS of money!! :)

      • kris

What is the green bag tag? I keep hearing about it.

        • Jessdare101

it is a little tag/card you buy once at .99 you put it on a reusable shopping bag and get it scanned each time you make a purchase. Can only be scanned once a day. Every fourth time it's scanned a $1 extra care buck prints out.

        • Margaret

It's such a great thing! Also, I have found that you can scan it more than once a day, but only if you go to separate stores. When it's convenient for me, sometimes I make 2 trips to different stores that I might be near in one day. You should definitely get one! :)

    • Kim_brown1964

I have a question. Can you use two coupons on buy 1 get 1 free items?

      • happymom

Yes, you can use two on B1G1 items.

        • Kim_brown1964

Thank you for your help. This can get so confusing.Lol

      • lcshopper

depends on the store, some will yet you use one since you are technically paying for one item, others 2

    • Standup4jc

OMG-I just returned from my best CVS trip ever! Thanks to the cashier at Tyrone GA store (Andrew) he was so helpful, offering advise and tips on how the extra care bucks works!!!

      • Pinkandblackcrazy

I have so many problems at that store the older man i think he is a manager is really a jerk even if you bring in the coupon policy he is not a fan of coupons

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

Wether he is a fan or not, he has to do his job. I would, with right coupons for my transaction, would always keep going to him until he let go of his unnecessar and uncalled for personal attitude at the job

    • cristiemc

The CVS in Goose Creek, SC had GoodNights on clearance for $2.99 each pack!!! And, there are coupons out there for $1.00 – $1.50 depending on where you got the coupon. If you have a child that needs them, this is the best deal that I've ever seen on these.

    • Sshoulders

Where can I find a copy of the CVS coupon policy? I tried to use 2 coupons yesterday. One was $2 off and the other a BOGO both for Oral B toothbrushes. Should I have been able to use both? The manager was really nice but said Loss Prevention had been cracking down on coupons.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

CVS accepts two Qs for these kinds of trasaction. Fact that, you are buying one and then getting one free from manufacturer on BOGO Q. so you are left to pay the other one which you are paying partially with the other manuf Q. There is a counter argument to it where $ off Q can not be used, but it is useless for this transaction at CVS. Try searcing CVS email on this website to see if you come up with a detailed explanation from CVS that actually aloows two Q.

Loss prevention has nothing to do with these Qs. CVS gets reimbursed for these and there is no way for manuf. to know if you also use bogo Q on the same items/transaction. There is no tracking or linking transaction receipts to actual Qs. The manager is simply over-zealous. There might be problem with internet Qs where people make copies and use multiple times and the manuf. finds out the security code already reimbursed and might not reimburse any more for those same Qs with same security codes.

      • Daniel

I used both of these coupons at CVS Sunday night.

    • sayaja

for tylenol patch they have 2.00 off coupon also at the store tear so it makes 1.99

    • Happilin

How does the process work at CVS with RX? How can I earn ECB on a monthly basis by transferring my prescription?

      • RebeccaFer

CVS does offer Rx transfer coupons from time to time which are usually for $25 for a Rx transferred from another pharmacy. You can do the offer twice in 6 months and it needs to be a transfer of a Rx that you refill on a regular basis. They also have a program where you receive 2% (I believe) in ECB for the cost of your Rx every month. I honestly don't know much about that though so you'd have to check their website for the correct info. HTHs! :D

    • ValsMom

The CVS I went to had the pantiliners for $1, not $.50. I was bummed.

      • Suemh

Did you price check them? They were not marked in my store last week, but were 50¢.

        • ValsMom

No I didn't. Thanks for the tip.

          • Rdubya310

They are marked 2 for a $1 at my cvs.

    • Blonderw03

Where can I find a copy of the coupon policy for CVS? I have one for Walmart & Target in my coupon binder & would love to find one for CVS, so I can pull it out when I get a cashier who wants to give me a problem. Thanks!!

Has anyone who bought the Neutrogena Clinical (I bought the Night facial lifting wrinkle treatment) noticed that the rebate specifies “Neutrogena clinical SPF 30 Night or Eye”?
It was part of the sale this week at CVS w/ a rebate form that says it is free. There is nothing on the package that says anything about “SPF 30”. Before I cut the UPC code off the box, I need to know if I have the right one. Does anyone know?

      • Bashrgoule

The rebate says “SPF 30, Night or Eye” meaning buy the SPF or Night or Eye.

        • Bollingkathy

          Thank you!

      • Razlmz

any of the 3 will work. The night version that you bought does not have SPF because it is for at night. The one with the SPF is the day version. But don't worry, you got the right now…any of them will be fine for the rebate. :)

    • Juliea201

Great week! The first CVS I went to was out of the Complete solution so I did it this way:

      Trans 1 – Bought
John Frieda Luxurious Vol Shampoo – $5
John Frieda Luxurious Vol Hairspray – $5
      Papermate Pens – $0.99
      School Scissors – $0.99

      -$3/2 John Frieda
      -$5.98 ECB

      Paid: $4.11 / Got back $6.98 ECB

Trans #2 (Diff store) – Bought
      Complete Contact Solution – $7.98

      -$6.98 ECB

      Paid $1.75 / Got $7.98 ECB

      Trans 3 – Bought
John Frieda Luxurious Vol Conditioner – $5
John Frieda Luxurious Vol Hairspray – $5
Duncan Hines Brownie mix – $1 (filler)

      -$3/2 John Frieda
      -$7.98 ECB

      Paid $1.05 / Got $5 ECB

      • Asdf

How were you able to do 2 john frieda transactions on the same card because the ad says one? Please let me know how so I can get a great deal! Thanks.

        • Rdubya310

And if you go to here http://johnfrieda.com/news_and_offers/special_offers.asp scroll down and there is a -$2.50 off of 1 coupon that you can print twice which would be a $5 savings.

        • Rdubya310

Actually the limit on John frieda is 3.

          • Melissa

My receipt said 4 but when I bought them all the ECB's didn't print. I think maybe they all have to be in seperate transactions. I bought 4 bottles of shampoo and it only printed 5 ECB's.

            • Rdubya310

Yes you have to do them in separate transactions.

            • sealey5

              I'm confused, sorry, i'm blonde, lol…..what's the limit on the J F?

            • Rdubya310

Sometimes the limit will be different than what is stated in the add. Not sure if its a typo or they just decide to change the limit. If you look at the bottom of your reciept after you do any of the ecb deals it will tell you if you have reached the limit or not.

I have recieved ecb twice for the JF and my receipt still doesnt say “limit reached”. It says “Quantity needed to receive reward 2”

            • Rdubya310

And tomorrow when I go back and get some more it should say “limit reached”. I love John Frieda. (:

            • Asdf

Please can anyone be more specific. What I don't understand is …How is that possible when the ad says limit 1? Is it a thing they do to discourage people from stocking up? How and where can I find out if anything else has a greater limit of 1 despite the ad advertising limit1(pantiliners?)? If so I need to go back and shop till I reach the limits! Thanks

            • Asdf

Or is every region different? I live in Southern California.

            • Juliea201

Honestly, we never know WHEN these “greater limit than advertised” ECB deals are going to come up. Usually the word only gets around once someone accidentally discovers it during their own purchase. And then the mad rush begins. ;-) As for how it's possible that an ECB product “deal” can have a limit far greater than what is advertised? We DO know that “glitches” happen within the CVS system where they may have MEANT to set the limit at 1 — and advertised as such… but the deal gets plugged into the computers in such a way that it allows a higher limit of the same transaction to produce ECBs.

Regions CAN also be different in both the limit on deals and WHAT deals are going on at the same time.

            • sealey5

okay so i'm looking at my receipt from the John Freida purchase and on the receipt it says Quantity toward this reward : 2
Quantity needed to earn reward: 2

Does it mean I can do the deal one more time or more than that? Thank you for your help! :)

            • Rdubya310

Yes you can do it 2 more times. Then it should say Quantity toward this reward: 4
              Quantity needed to earn reward:2
I did my 3rd JF transaction today and my receipt now says “Offer limit reached” :)

          • sealey5

Just curious but how is the limit on the John Freida 3 when it states the limit is 1 in the ad?

        • Mysterious_Mentalist

This is from some previous month experience. Although JF advertised limit 1, it went for 5 times before limit reached-It was a month long deal. Similarly, it is advertised as 1 limit for the week, but the receipts keeps count of limit for the whole month in this case. Therefore, JF deal is probably monthly for July as well and the limit is 3 or whatever I am not sure. Just keep reading your receipt and keep doing them same week or the week after, but in the same month of July.

Also, only do the barely minimum to get one ECB deal per transaction. Spending more than 1 deal in the same transaction will give you only 1 ECB and the rest wont even count as balance for the next deal. I believe that is why they advertise as “limit 1” meaning per transaction and can go multiple times for the whole month though

        • Daniel

Look at the bottom of your receipt and if it doesnt say “*Offer Limit Reached” (under john freida) buy more.

    • Lrae17

Question about John Frieda Q…At my CVS in Columbia, SC, not all the John Frieda's were on sale/had ECB's…I couldn't use the $3 off Root Awakening as none of the Root Awakenings were on sale. Is everyone else finding that? I've got the $2.50 off any JF product, so I think I'll go back and use that.

      • Rdubya310

You could save more anyway by printing the $2.50 coupon again and using them instead of the $3 Q.

        • Phyllis

Can u use 2- $2.50 coupons on the special they have going or u only allowed to use the $3 coupon on the John Frieda special? Thanks

          • Rdubya310

Yes you can use 2 of the $2.50 coupons. They are the ones I have been using.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Sometimes, shelf tags are missing. It would be a good idea to check the price anyway. If the item rings sale price, then it is most likely qualify for ECB print also-however, the price check machines does not give ECB information

      • Juliea201

Yup, they don't always tag all sale/ECB items. I usually ask the cashier to check if it's included before ringing up; they don't mind.

        • Razlmz

At my store the root awakenings WERE included and I think CVS sales are universal so they should be included t yoru store as well.

          • Razlmz

The reason I know this is because I bought the root awakenings and I got the ECBs. :)

          • Elizabeth

They were not marked on sale at my store but I scanned them at the red box and they rang up on sale.

    • Phyllis

      Hey Jenny,
Just had a question concerning the ECB. I am new to all this! This week the free item is the eye solution for $7.99 with $7.99 back in ECB rewards. I found where you said purchase the free item with your money out of pocket and turn around and purchase another of the same item with your ECB rewards. Will i receive another $7.99 ECB if the offer was for one per household? Are does the first one count being i paid out of pocket? Not sure if i am understanding correctly! I have been spending my rewards on other things in the store. But, if this is the best way for my money, then i want to saveeeeee! Hope u understand what i am asking!

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Regardless how you pay wether with cash, credit, Qs, or ecbs, the ECB offer on the product as advertised will print the number of times it is advertised. And I think, the eye solution product in question has a limit of 2 for the whole month of July, so it will print twice if bough in two separate transactions or as one if bought together in one trans.

Please reword your question if that was not the answer to your question.

        • Kris

The 7.99 solution has a limit of 1. The 2.99 solution has a limit of 2.

        • Phyllis

Thanks For the replys on the Complete solution! I am knew to this and yes you did answer my question.

      • Guest

I think the Complete is the solution you are referring to and that has a limit of 1

    • sealey5

where'd the deal for the Wisk detergent go? I have q's and was going to stock up but wanted to check the accurate price before I go.

      • Rdubya310

        Wisk is $4.99

    • sgb07c

I have a question about the purchase $20 of excedren and get $10 ECB back. On their website they have coupons for $1/1 and they have them for every kind of excedrin they offer [i think]. My question [since im still new to couponing] is if i purchase 9 bottles of excedrin and use 9 different $1/1 coupons, would that still give me the $10 ECB back? thanks for your help!

      • Rdubya310

Yes you will receive $10 ecbs. The number of coupons you use has no affect on how many ecb's you receive.

        • sgb07c

thank you so much!!!!!! sorry if it was a silly question =p

          • Rdubya310

Your welcome. Its not a silly question at all. This cvs's gets confusing sometimes for all of us.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Excedrin also has $1 Qs (20 ct. or larger) out in SS 7/11/10 if you have them and in multiples-so you wont have to worry about printing so many from multiple computers

    • Carol

Does anyone in the Columbia, SC area have a Crestwhite strips coupon (3D White Vivid) they would give me to use at CVS this week. I would be happy to pick up in the downtown, or Bush River area.I htink I just threw some inserts out that had them, and now my daughter wants to whiten her teeth before she is in a wedding. carol-young@junodotcom

      • ashley

I have one and I live in west columbia…I could mail it to you and you would probably get it on friday. Email me if interested. uscagirl23@aol dot com.

    • wannasave

ok- i am new to this.. what are “q's” and ss and PG?? thanks

      • mb's mom

q's is coupons, ss is i believe smartsource which is one of the coupons in the newspaper (ss 7/11 would mean it was in the paper on july 11 in the smartsource coupon insert), and pg is proctor and gamble coupon insert

      • Souternsweet_heart

Q's- Coupons SS-Smart Source(Insert for sundays paper) PG-Procter and Gamble( insert from sunday paper) RP- Red Plum (inser from sundays paper) Hope that helps I believe that Jenny has all the coupon lingo on the site maybe under the gettig started tab I'm pretty sure its here somewhere though so I may explain better than I can :)

    • kk

FYI – I used the canadian coupon for Complete contact solution(someone posted a link farther down on the comments). I just handed it over and the manager said that because I wasn't abusing the system she would take off the $2. This is why we must be polite and nice in the stores that we choose to go couponing.

      • Kris

I also used the coupon from the link further down. The cashier didn't even question it. She just typed the numbers in because it wouldn't scan.

      • Ashley

I am just curious, what you and that manager think qualifies as abusing the system. I actually want to laugh a little bit because I would never try to use a Canadian coupon. But that's just me. I could just imagine someone thinking I was abusing the system if I got $100 worth of stuff for $2. But, yet using a Canadain coupon that beeps is just fine! Lol. How strange everyone's conjured up perspectives.

    • Gettobobs

Quick Question- if the total price of an item is $4.99, can I pay for it with a $5 ECB. I know I would owe the rest of the tax, but are the registers that picky that theywould not take it for the 1 cent shortage??

      • Ashley

At cvs you can ask them to knock it down or adjust it to 4.99 and they will(and can). No other stores like Wags or Rite Aid up reward can do this on their register.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

Registers do not have mind so as to be picky like humans; registers work on mathematical computation with precise accuracy for the system to work. Wether it is 1 cent shortage or 100, it is not matching, then the system can not proceed until manually pushed. And that “manual push” is allowed by CVS as the ECBs read the values “up to….”

    • amanda

question on the suave: in RP 7/11 there was a coupon for buy 2 body wash get one free. will that apply to the ecb deal and if so can i use this coupon in addition to my other .50 off coupons for a total of 3 body wash 1 b2g1 coupon and 2 .50 coupon

      • Suemh

Yes, all of those coupons should work and all 3 bottles would count toward the ECB deal. Just make certain that they are the right coupons for the products.

      • No. You can only use 1 coupon per item. You can buy 3 for $5 body wash, using 1 B2G1 coupon plus two cents off coupons on the two you are buying to get the free item. In other words, you are buying two using a .50 off coupon on each, and a third coupon B2G1 to get a third bottle free. Do this twice for 5 items total and get $3 ECB back.

        • oops. I misread your post. You described the same scenario I did. I thought you were trying to use a B2G1 coupon and a cents off coupon for the same item to get them all for free.

    • Turtle403

I am sure this has been asked and answered many times before, but I was wondering where you get the PG $100 coupon book that Jenny lists coupons from all the time. Thank you!

      • guest

It's no longer available. It was a rebate deal that was offered earlier in the year.

      • Anonymous

        A) I believe this booklet called “Home Made Simple…” is a smaller version of some PG product coupons.

        B) Call PG customer service and let them know that you have not received the book you had mailed request for if you in fact did mail a request a little while ago when the promotion was still on. I am sure they should be able to accommodate you or something.

        C) The widely touted PG saving Q booklet is nothing but a hype. You be better off with monthly PG inserts from newspapers or mailing to your home. The booklet has, to my big surprise, actually lower value Qs than you might get in monthly PG insert.

    • 3monkeysmom

I posted the link to the Canadian Complete coupon and I am now feeling really bad about doing so. I didn't realize when I posted the link that it was Canadian until someone pointed it out to me. And because so, I haven't used the coupon.
When I was googling Complete coupons, I found the link and when you are taken to that specific page, it only has a place to fill out your first and last name, and your email address.
If I had scrolled down before filling it out, I would have noticed that it was for the Canadian manufacturer and I would NOT have posted the link.
I DID notice that the coupon looked different than the coupons I am used to but I thought it was because it may have been pdf, and I was honestly too busy trying to convert ounces to mL's, making sure it was for the right size, to notice anything anyway.
I will say that NOWHERE on the registration page or the page the actual coupon is on, does it say it is only intended for use in Canada, although maybe that is assumed.
I am usually not one to call people out for doing something I wouldn't do, I pretty much just mind my own business, because it isn't my job to judge.
But as I was the one who posted the link in the first place, I feel somewhat responsible (not completely, because we are each responsible for our own actions). If we are not supposed to be using the coupon then CVS (or where ever you choose to use it) probably won't be reimbursed that money and I don't want that on my head.
There is a phone number available on their site and I will call tomorrow and ask about this but until then please don't use it :-)

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

You take too much guilt upon yourself, silly! Let others, presumably all adults on this board, make their own decision on how and what to do; and yeah let the retailers handle the beeps and then read for accuracy-That is what “beeps” are for.

      • 3monkeysmom

I just got off the phone with them…..the rep I spoke with said the coupon should be good in the U.S. as well because AMO is an American company, the website is just part of the Canadian branch of the company. (when you click on TERMS OF USE on the website, it says it's under California Law).
She also said if it won't scan and the retailer wouldn't accept it, we can call and they will send us a coupon :-)

    • Katiekoupon

I did the (2) Neutrogena sun care deal today to get sunscreen for my son. When I got home, I realized the sunscreen has expired! Obviously, I need to return them, but will my $10 ECB still be valid once I make the return?

      • RebeccaFer

Yes, returns do not effect your ECBs. If you want them, they could just exchange them for you. I'm sure even another store would be able to help you if you explained. :D

    • savingssheri

Found a coupon for Complete Multi Purpose Contact Solution http://completecomfort.ca/register.php

      • guest

If you read further post below you will see that this is a Canadian coupon.

      • kris

I used this at a CVS in VA no problem

    • I got an e-mail for $1/1 Cheerios Original from BeginWithCheerios(dot)com

    • Shawna

I have a question about the Oral B Pulsar toothbrushes. If I purchase two, can I use a $2 q and a B1G1 q? Will the register beep because it will be considered 2 manuf. on one item? I hope this makes sense. CVS has different rules each week and I just don't want a hassle when I go in there. Thanks!

      • samantha

You can use both of them. The BOGO q makes the first one free, and the -$2 q makes the second one .50 cents, so each q is for separate items.I did it just the other day! :) You can't beat 2 oral B pulsar toothbrushes for .50 cents..

        • Shawna

          Thank you so much!

    • Michelle J

I know I've seen someof you say that you can use ECB's up to a week after they expire. Anybody ever been told they couldn't do that? Mine expired 7/12 : /

      • Nora

My store lets me use them 6 months after they expire, but I've noticed that it depends on the cashier.

      • LeAnnaShaw

I talked to DM in my area-he says I can use them up to one week….

    • Southernsweet_heart

      CVS deal today I got:
1 Root awakening conditioner(for my sisters birthday goody basket) 5.00
1 Sheer blonde shampoo (for myself) 5.00
      1 Bic Soleil Shimmer 3.99
2 travel size Pantene 1.29 each
1 travel size degree deodorant 1.00
1 blistex (I go through that stuff like crazy my lips are always so chapped) 1.19
      1pkg travel shick razors 1.29
      1 Green Bag tag 0.99

I was reading somewhere that as long as the coupons you are using don’t have a size limit that you can use them on the trial size products we're going on vacation next month and you cant beat free or 0.29 cents for the prefect size products for traveling

      Coupons I used:
      3.00 off 1 Root awakening
      2.00 off any John Frieda
1.00 off any Schick disposable razors
2.00 off any 2 Pantene products
      3.00 off Bic Soleil
0.75 off any dove or degree deodorant or body mist

      Total OOP 6.92
      ECB earned 5.00

That’s like getting everything for 1.92 or 0.21 each!!!

    • Hbruchie

I have a question, I was able to go today and get a rain check for the solution and also for the John Freida. But unfortunately the guy filled out the rain check for the John Freida wrong. The other rain check was ok, so I didn't notice it till later. For one he put Frizz Ease, instead of John Freida, plus he put 2 for $5 and it was 2 for $10. Then on top of that the blank for the ECB he left blank. If I keep this ad, will I be able to still get this deal when I do get this product? What should I do?

      • Igot5ltlboyz

You can either go back to that/or another CVS and get another rain check, or you can call the manager at that particular CVS, explain what happened and see if they'll let you bring the ad/incorrect raincheck in. Hope that helps!!

    • Anne

On the Futuro deal… Was anyone able to find the wrist supports listed for $4.69? I didn't see anything priced that low.

    • Titanlady062404

I am having trouble finding many of the coupons listed here, for instance the head & shoulders in ss 7/11 is not in mine, I also cannot find the ones for Oral B or John Frieda. Does anyone know why I am missing out on so many coupons?I live in Jacksonville Florida and get my coupon inserts from the newspaper.

      • Nurseamc

There are 2 different coupon inserts. Check out the main blog page to see if your area newspaper is listed.

    • So, the 2oz. Biotrue solution at my CVS didn't say that it was $2.99 or that there was a $2.99 ECB on it…do you know why that is?

      • Materdone

Mine did not either but it worked.

        • Gettobobs

Mine in Hsv. AL didnt either, maybe because it is a month long deal and they had already taken the signs down. I brought them to the register and they rang up correctly with the ECBs.

      • Jbfitnessrn

its not advertised that you will recieve ECBs but this deal runs through the rest of the month. There is a limit to how many you can buy. I always buy in separate transactions. Look at the bottom of your receipt and if it says offer limit reached then u can't buy any more. If not keep buying!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Jperry4

On the Neutrogena at CVS…how do you make $5.00? After you mail in the rebate with your receipt, don't they just reimburse you what you paid? I've just started couponing and I am trying to figure out how all of this works.

      • Jbfitnessrn

You will benefit by reading up on how to shop at CVS, what ECBs are, ETC. Good sites to get basic couponing skill for CVS are http://www.iheartcvs.com and http://www.southernsavers.com. The $5 dollars you make are in ECBs. Its not a mail in rebate.

      • Suemh

If you use the $5 off coupon, you will actually pay 29.99 but will receive 34.99 back with the rebate. That's how you make $5. When I am buying something that has a rebate, I always make certain that I buy it in a transaction with other things, just in case they pay attention to the fact that I used coupons.

    • Jbfitnessrn

Bought 2 Biotrue, 2 CVS pantiliners and the last suave body wash i needed. Used 2 ECBs and recieved total of 9.98 ECBs. Plus free hand sanitizer spray! OOP total 3.30! (used 2 $2 off biotrue)

    • Samplesfun

Had been to cvs to get cottonelle B1G1 and it they ran off the stock, when i asked for a raincheck they said they are substituting cottonelle for Scott :( , can anyone please tell me if there any coupon available for scott tissue? had anyone faced this problem at their store?

    • Mysterious_Mentalist

The lowest priced Futuro wrist item is 7.39. I do not see anything close to 4.69 listed here?

    • nikki4558

I'm new to this, so forgive me if this question has already been asked. On the John Freida Deal, I have 2 $2.50 off manufacturers coupons (from the JF website). I also have a $3/2 Target coupon. Can I use all three coupons together?

      If so then my total OOP will be $2.00 ($10.00 – $2.50 – $2.50 – $3.00 = $2.00), and I will get $5.00 back, leaving me with a $3.00 profit. Does this sound correct?

      • Dianne

The $3/2 Target coupon that I printed is a Target Web coupon, meaning it is only good at Target, or stores (like some Publix stores) that consider Target a competitor. CVS does not take Target coupons.

    • Podracer

I have 2 b1g1 Head and Shoulders Coupons. Can I do the following at CVS?
      (2) Head & Shoulders products
      (2) b1g1 free coupon 7/11 SS
      Total Due:
      misc. tax

      • guest

No. 2 b1g1 coupons doesn't equal 2 free products. You'll only be able to use one.

I had the same question! I was thinking of buying 2 head and shoulders and using 2 BOGO coupons = 4 head and shoulders to total $12 and paying with $8 ecb which would make out of pocket $4 for 4 head and shoulders. Will this work? Will I be able to get two $2 ecb = $4ecb?????

It won't work. you could only use 1 b1g1 coupon for 2 bottles. You would pay for one and get the other for free.

Its really not even a free product. As the coupon says value up to 4.74 did anyone catch that? sale price is 4.99

I noticed that too, but when I used mine today. The manager that we ringing up my transaction took off 4.99!

Anyone know how much the Cottonelle 12 packs cost at CVS? I'm trying to decide if it's a better deal than the one at Kroger this week. Thanks!

They were 12.49 at my store and were B1G1

Does anyone know how long the John Frieda buy $10 get 5 ecb lasts? Is it all month? or just for this week??

      • Reginamwayne

My store had half of the John Frieda stuff on sale 2/$10 & 5 ECB, but the other half (root awakening and a few other lines of shampoo & conditioner) were $6.99, buy 2 get 5 ECB.

Hope that helps. My receipt did show that I had my limit. I had only done it twice the week before, so I guess that was my last chance.
