    • Dawn

Hi. I have a certificate for a free case of similac early shield ready feed (blue bottles) if anyone is interested. Just make me an offer! I earned it after purchasing 9 cases. It’s at Babies r Us. Email me dawnie0505@yahoo.com

    • Laura

If you buy 3 John Friedas at $5 each, it would be $15. If you use (3) $3 off coupons, it takes off $9, still owing $6, not $4. So, instead of making $1, you have an OOP of $1.

      • Ashley

Not seeing where she said it was a $1 MM. Maybe she fixed it in the last 20 mins she put it up?

      • Brooke82

Yeah she changed it. I was wondering the same thing too! Oh well, we all make mistakes :)

    • emily c.

i bought the blink tears eye drops this past week… can i purchase them again next week & get the ECBs? i didn't know if it was “Limit 1 per week” or “Limit 1 period”. thanks!

      • Emily, I read on a forum today that the promotion # is different than last week's – and is therefore supposed to be a totally new deal. hope that helps!

        • emily c.

thanks, jamie! is there a certain forum that tells you these things?? if so, do share! is there some way to check while im @ CVS before i buy the item? (for future reference)

          • The best way to see if it is a new deal or not:

Look at last weeks ad and this weeks ad side by side, and compare the “event code” that is printed in small font under the deal in the ad. Usually if that number is different it is a new deal.

    • Cristaspeaks

Is the Proglide a new deal this week or just a run on from last week?

      • Jetsdeals

I was wondering the same thing. I hope so! Is there a way to find out before buying one?

      • Freedomspradley1

I'm pretty sure you get the limit of 1 each week the deal runs.

    • sonyapell

Due to some very strange circumstances at my CVS this past week, I am now the owner of $30 ECB, and a $30 gift card. I'm not sure where to start this week, but hope history doesn't repeat itself.

      • Ashley

        Huh? How'd that happen :)

        • sonyapell

I had a prescription to pick up, so I checked out at the pharmacy. I had 3 kellogg cereals, and the green tea 12 pk for ecb, then some sobe, right guard, and a few other things. I put it all on the counter, and put my reusable bag on the counter with my gbt and ecc facing the cashier. I even told her, “here are my cards”, but she didn't scan them. I was overcharged around $30, didn't get my ecb, and it was all paid for with a food stamp card.

I went to the front register for my second transaction, since the pharmacy had a couple of customers that walked up while I was checking out. I had 4 kids under 7 with me, so I was a bit distracted, and didn't notice until I hit the front register that no ecb had printed. The cashier did reprint my $5 for the cereal, but I forgot about the $1 for the tea. I looked at my receipt and realized that she hadn't scanned my card, but didn't want to be a pain, so I decided to just suck it up. I like the cashiers at my store, but the manager always gives me dirty looks, so I didn't want to be a bother. After I got home, however, and added it all up, I decided to give them a call, and see what could be done to fix it. They just decided to issue me a $30 gift card since they didn't know if it would credit to an EBT card if they did a refund.

          • sonyapell

Oh, and the ECB are from me either forgetting them at home, and not using them, or having gift cards from swagbucks, and very low oop, so I just DIDN'T use them. :)

    • USCNicole

Thanks Jenny! Be on the lookout for a $5/15 from the red machine! I got one today and when I got home I had an email for $5/25. What a great day! Can't wait to put my scenarios together.

      • AT

I never get the emails. I shop there a lot too. Makes me so sad! LOL

-$20 Mail in Rebate wyb RoC Brilliance – Expired Rebate.

    • cristy

I have a doubt can someone plsssssssss help me…! if i have to return zegerid ( as i realised today i have 1 mre pack which i had bought from rite aid so basically don't need any more ) which gave me ecbs plus i had used a coupon for and paid …will they return it to me? if so …will i have to give back the ecbs and what about the coupon?

      • thekouponking

christy: when i have returned something that i have used coupons and ecbs for…they put the amount of the coupon and ecbs on a gift card and give you the amount you paid back on your card(if you used one) or in cash.

      • Wmllewis

The store will be reimbursed for the coupon, so they will credit you 100% of the price of the item. They will refund you the amount that you spent out of pocket in whatever form you spent it in, for example they will put it back on your credit or debit card. Anything over that and they will simply load it onto a CVS gift card. I rarely return anything, but when I've needed to I've never had any problems doing so. :)

      • They will return the full amount on a gift card usually. BUT, make sure that you are not returning items after an ECB deal JUST to get more 4 for your pocket. That is very wrong and makes couponers in general look bad. (I am NOT saying that is what you are doing ,so don't jump down my throat. Just stating a fact)

      • In my experience when I have returned something they gave me back the full purchase price, so if the item was $3 and I used a $1 off coupon they still gave me $3. I actually argued with the manager and told him, ” but I used a coupon, so you only owe me $2.” He said it doesn't work like that and that they are just out of the money and he couldn't take back the ecb. I never took back something like that again because it felt wrong to me to gain money off of them. As for the coupon, it's long gone and you won't get it back.

    • momof3inATL

FUZE/POWERADE/SMART WATER DEAL: All please go check the cooler section where these drinks are stored (as opposed to the end cap where the deal is advertised). There are somemfg coupons on the glass doors for $1 off 3 Smartwaters and .75 cents off 2 Powerades. This will make your OOP $8.25 with $5 ECBs.

    • Snowski824

Jenny, is it possible to add a senario that includes mostly food? Just a thought.

    • Schrodtfamily

i'm in lexington sc and realized i had some ecb's that expired last week. i had the dates mixed up in my head with all the getting ready for school stuff, etc. anyone had any success with the local stores here accepting expired ecb's? i'm hoping not to lose them! :(

      • Lewis08

CVS in Ballentine will take them

      • Chewie1093

I have used expired ECB coupons before. Use them quick though. I asked the cashier first to make sure because I heard that some CVS will not take expired. I had no problems. I think there is a 3 week limit after expiration???

        • Bev

My N. Charlotte CVS officially accepts any expired CVS coupons up to a week after expiration (some cashiers accept longer than that–YMMV).

      • dianeharrington

sometimes if you call customer service they will reset them.

      • Diane

I had some 2 week (+) expired ecb's. I went to one cvs I've never used who wouldn't take them. I went to one of the many near my house who took them no problem. I always thought they never expired!

      • Ashley

The one in Lexington SC has taken them from me. This is the one by Home Depot.

yesterday went to cvs, the cashier said that next time i come in to go to someone else, cuz she don't want to get aressted for coupon fraud.. i buoght 12- oral-b tooth brushes, used 6- b1g1 free, 6- 1.00 off, 1- zegerid, 7.99, used 1- 3.00 off, 12- right gaurd, used 6- b1g1 free. total come to: 118.01, also used, 7.99 reward, 5.00 reward and 2.50 reward, total out of pocket was: .37. lady said it was fraud cuz it zeroed out and i didn't pay for anything, i told her that i did pay with coupons, that you are allowed to use b1g1 coupons with b1g1 sale items, and had suggested she may want to contact corprate to find out what they can do and can't do.. the manager kept walking passed the counter, but didn't say 2 words about it..

      • Ebunnie63

before anyone freaks out.. i bought toothbrushes and right gaurd to sent to my sisters kid, overseas.

        • stephanie

I would have broke this up in 2-3 transactions. No, your not doing anything wrong but your bringing a lot of attention to yourself and a person like your cashier doesn't get it. Good deal though!

          • fldukes

On my Right Guard BOGO coupons, the fine print said something about only using one coupon per customer. I'm assuming that means you are only supposed to do the deal once per transaction. So is using multiple of the same coupons in one transaction considered coupon fraud?? I have no idea.

      • Amy J.

Wow, you got awesome deals there, great job!!! Looks like if the manager had an “issue” with it, he/she would have spoken up about it……sounds like the cashier needs a refresher in their coupon policy.
Anyway, it's great that you're sending these overseas to your sister's kid!
        That's GREAT!!!

      • Tawanda

Wonderful job! And if no one was in the store, then it was fine to do it one transaction. If anything, the associate should have uttered a wow, or shown some curiosity as to HOW you did it. Next time, counter her with, wouldn't you like to save money on TOP of your discount/

      • Diane

The only thing I would think might be a problem is that maybe 3 instead of 6 $1.00 off 2 oral-b tooth brushes since you only paid for 6? That is what I have been told at the stores and on various websites. That might have been what she was talking about. What do you all think? Either way – good job!

        • Ebunnie63

i believe the 1.00 off oral-d was 1.00 off one not 2.. any way the register took them.. so it had to work right??

      • Supermom997

That is crazy! I hate when cashiers try to make you feel bad for using coupons. I had a CVS cashier 2 days ago hand me back my coupons and tell me they “aren't scanning”. I had bought 10 b1g1 right guard deodorants along with 4 $1 off coupons for them (trying to have a money maker) wasn't sure if it would work or not. So I told her to void the $1 off coupons and just ring up the B1G1. She did and it worked fine. Then she handed me back my ecb I was using and said they werent scanning either. I just stood there and waited for her to keep trying because I wasn't about to take them back. How do they not scan? She called her manager over and the manager helped her but she was very flustered at me! Do you know if you can use coupons off 1 as well as B1G1 free coupon for the same item if they are already b1g1? I know you can if they are not b1g1 already.

        • Chatie007

You can only use 1 B1G1 Q on a B1G1 sale, then you wind up getting both for free so you can't use the $1 off 1 on top of that b/c you are not paying for 1. Hope this makes sense…

      • LB514

I'm sorry you had to deal with such an unfriendly cashier. I don't see anything wrong with your scenario, I think you did a wonderful job, and kudos to you for sending the items overseas.

    • Julie

Will the crest toothpaste deal be reset for this week, or can we not do it again?

      • Ebunnie63

i believe it's like the fusion razor deal they been doing for the past forever, lol.. buy rights if they restart it in next weeks flyer.. it shoiuld start again??

      • bluesky

I think it resets– My ExtraCare online list says the “8/15/10 Crest, Buy 1 Get 2.50 EB” deal ends “08/21/2010”, so Im assuming a new one starts 8-22.

    • Jimnjane

upon checking out today at CVS I received a tape saying “receive
a $4 cpn. off purchase of $20 or more when you update your email
address below..cpn. will be emailed to you within 3 wks”…”print
email (on tape) and return to cashier or enter it online at http://www.cvs.com/email

    • ssh

Between my $11.99 in ECBs and $5 off $15 coupon, I should be able to figure out a good scenario. Thanks so much Jenny!

    • Donna

Can't find the $1 off Bounty 6+ roll coupon in my PG (8/01)…only the 25 cents. Are there different versions of this publication… or did I overlook? THANKS!

      • Jenifer K.

i am in georgia and i have the same .25 coupon for bounty as well as a .75 coupon for the crest toothpaste instead of $1.00. I am guessing it does depend on where we are located.

        • Donna

Thanks Jenifer… glad to know I wasn't just overlooking:):):) And… I too had the .75 coupon for the crest as well. I'm also in Georgia and have a P&G from my local paper – Thomasville, GA… and one from Tallahassee, FL paper…they are identical… guessing same “region” for P&G.

          • Melissa

The dollar q is in the p&g rebat book not the newspaper. HTH

            • It was in some newspapers. I got it in the P&G insert that I bought from a clipping service.

      • stephanie

Usually only the big city papers have the dollar coupons for that.

      • Jilljova77

The 1.00 off Bounty Coupons are in the P&G Year of savings booklets some of us got a few months ago. They were mailed to me for sending in rebates! Hope this helps!

    • stephanie

      Am I the ONLY one??

I have been shopping at CVS and doing their Extra Care Program for over three years. For the life of me I can NEVER get emails would a coupon. Yes I signed up my email a LONG time ago and ever since the first 4 off 20 I haven't gotten one since. This stinks and I am so frustrated. :-/

      • stephanie

So I went and checked my account and for anyone not getting coupons I think I figured it out.

I had to go update my personal information and now it is showing a coupon Gillette coupon in my Extra Care Rewards.

I sure hope I get good coupons now.

        • Mag

could they be getting caught by spam filter on your email? you may need to make the cvs email addy a trusted address for your email.

        • B Brown04

I never have gotten any coupons in my emails either, but I got sales information. After I read this, I decided to try the same thing as Stephanie. Something that I noticed is that for some reason I had marked no in the box listed as do you wish to recieve valuable coupons and offers by emails. I don’t remeber ever doing this, so I am wondering if this is the default when the application for an Extra Care card is put through. It may be worth checking if you don’t recieve any coupons. Hope it works!

          • Firstbrownie

Check your “yes” again, because it changes back to “no” on me within a few hours or by the next day!!

      • Melissa

You are not the only one! In five years the only one I have ever received was the 1st 4 off 20. I started scanning my g-mas card when I picked up stuff for her and everytime I scan it I get 5 off 15 or 4 off 20 etc. Sooooo annoying.

      • Jeannettebush27

I haven't gotten one in ages, since I first started. They tease you and then leave you hanging. That is the one down side to CVS verses Rite Aid.

    • Beverly McGee

Anyone having trouble getting the 2.00 listerine zero coupon to print. I registered like it said and now still will not print?

      • Lori B. nsc

I finally got it to print. I held down my Ctrl button as I clicked on the Click Here link & the print coupon screen finally popped up. I was getting frustrated.

        • Nmckeown

i did the same thing Lori (per your suggestion) and it worked. it seemed like I had to close the tab too, after registering, and then re-signin

          • BdaJda06

I am still having problems with that Listerine site…so frustrating!!!!!!

            • Tracybpen

I was having problems too. When you click on Jenny's link, first go to the top right and either sign in or register. Then go to special offers. When you see the coupon for the Listerine Zero, try holding down BOTH the ctrl AND alt buttons while you click on the Click Here link. I had tried just the ctrl button several times without any succes, but then once I did the alt button as well, the print coupon screen popped up for me. Hope that helps!

            • Coupacoupon1

That finally worked for me. Thanks! Whew! What a bother.

            • Sherry

Thanks for your suggestion. It just worked for me and I was also getting frustrated. It printed with no problems.

        • Zjqtcj

I couldn't get through when I was trying to register. It kept saying “OOps wrong validating code”. How did you do it?

      • Lbenjamin1349

I can't get it to work either!! Help anyone!

      • BdaJda06

Yes I am also having problems with it and was wondering if anyone else was…I see that you are too!!

    • Jilljova77

Question- Do these deals start at all CVS's on Saturday nights or just the 24 hour ones. Typically when I get there on Sunday afternoon, everything I am looking for is gone. I go to the CVS in Ballentine.

      • Missyscatchall

next week's deals start on Saturday only for the stores that are NOT open 24 hours. In other words, if your store is a 24 hour store, they must have time during the quiet hours of the night for the computers to switch over to next week's sale. The stores that close in the evening go ahead and have their computers ready to go on Saturday for the next week's ad… so you can get both “this week's” deals as well as next week's on Saturday (if your store is NOT a 24 hour store). Clear as mud??? :)

        • Becky

I would suggest you call your store ahead of time and ask though. I have 2 stores within about 8 miles of me which both close at night. One of them starts the new ad on Saturday and the other does not. I found out the hard way the first time I tried to shop on a Saturday night :(

      • Chattie

I don't know where you live but I know that 2 of the 3 stores in C'vill GA activate the new sale on Saturday evening and they are both 24hr stores…I shopped a couple of weeks ago as early as 6pm on saturday for both weeks…each store is different most don't mind telling you when they typically activate! HTH!

      • kaseyshadow

The ones on this side of Cola (lexington) appear to “turn” on after 10AM. Last week I tried before 10 and no go. When I stoped at 10:30 they scanned the sales price. This is at non 24 hour stores.

      • Melissa

The 24 hour store in Lexington, SC runs both but I don't know the “turn on” time. I was in there last Saturday at 10:00PM and both sales were ringing up. I didn't expect that, but it was a nice surprise.

    • Jamie

Does anyone know if the B1G1 items will ring up 1/2 price for just one or do you have to buy 2 to get the sale price?

      • Tina

You may need to ask your store…my experience locally has been that they do not ring up half price.

      • Beth

You have to buy 2 — 1 will ring up full price and the other will ring up for zero. However, you CAN use 2 coupons.

    • Tina

Blink was an ECB this week and I took advantage of it. I notice it is on ecb list again this week. Can I do it again since I purchased last week?

    • Sibylle82

I too have been wondering why I haven't gotten any of the extra coupons in my e-mail. I signed into CVS and looked at my account and they had my e-mail address wrong. Argh. Some of you though have said you have already recieved those 4 off 20 coupons and haven't since. I hope I get one sometime soon. I can't believe my e-mail address what wrong in their system!

    • Keliland19

I just go a $5/15 and $4/20 in one swipe of my card!!!! YAY!

    • You have to buy two at CVS to get the deal

    • Kimboone123

Just completed a CVS online survey and earned $5 ECB! LOVE IT!

    • AnonymousCVS

So I've finally decided to join this couponing craze! :-) And, being a CVS employee, I have a little bit of an inside scoop. I thought I would post on here so that if anyone has any questions about how the system works then feel free to ask! I've been admiring the work of our coupon queens for a couple of weeks and they've been soooooo sweet! (And yes, we have those horrible cashiers that can't stand coupons, but in my opinion, every time it happens to me I'm learning something!!)

      • Lisa

Hope you don’t mind my CVS Extra Rewards question… my account at cvs.com shows that I earned 2% of $18.71 in “Spring Spending” and that it would be generated on July 1st. I never got anything, and my Extra Rewards tab says I have no extra rewards. How was I supposed to have gotten the $3.74 that was generated in July? Also, what is the “card reader” I’m seeing people post about? Thank you!

        • Elizabeth

2% of 18.71 is only .37, I don't think it prints the reward if it's less than $1

          • Valeriems1

if its under .50 cents it will not print

      • Michelle00r00

all i have to say is that the cvs employees i've come across are awesome! i don't know how cvs gets them, but they are great! :)

        • Asmyers01

I was actually wondering the same thing. Sometimes CVS runs the month long ECB deals. Maybe the blink tears are part of the August ECB deals.

        • Christi

I just did my FIRST CVSing! My cashier was awesome…she even gave me some tips for next week. I'm already addicted!

      • Samanta

I got extrabucks on blink tears last week! Can I get this week also?thank you

        • charlie

i thought last weeks blink tears was .5 as this week is .34. If it has a different event number it will be a different extrabucks.

          • Samanta

        • Mharwell01

its a different deal this week. its for blink GEL tears.

          • Samanta

            thank you

      • Queennana0725

I regularly shop at 2 CVS stores and there are cashiers that I favor over others but all have been nice and polite.

    • AnonymousCVS

Oh, and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this website!! My first week was a little rough because the Blink Tears and Purex 3-in-1 were nowhere to be found, but I spent $21.58 on $64.67 of stuff! $43.09 in savings!! I can definitely get used to this!!

    • Thecastelfamily

      I got a $5 off $15 today too… from the card reader :)

    • Mommysauls

I went to the CVS website so i could sign up and get the coupon , well I enter all my info and it keep saying invalid email address .. Or that i left it blank.. But I have checked it several times and even copied and pasted it in to make sure I wasn't going crazy.. Am i missing something? Anyone else have this problem? THANKS

      • pat

Yes.I signed up for emails weeks ago. Every time I try to get my $4 coupon it says the same thing.Something about website is invalid . I have really been frustrated about this.

    • costcuttin

If cvs has a b1g1, can you use 2 coupons say 2 dollar off coupons?

      • guest

      • Melissa

Yes! If you are purchasing 2 products, you can use 2 coupons!

    • Redneckoutlaw12

Oh that's cool. I like taterr tots. I love reading books about zebra's and my favorite colorr bra is lime green & Red. My favorite pantie's are my ones with jello friut cups on them. And uhm i like my boyfriend. That's me.

    • laura

The Shout printable link is not for laundry stain remover but for color catcher….anyone know where I can get a Q for the stain remover…thanks!

    • Lori

I got an email this morning that P&G is offering another coupon booklet by mail if you spend $50 on P&G products and mail them your receipt(s). This would be a great week to shop toward that with the ECB deal on P&G products.

    • Amy

I just had to share my random CVS deal. At my daughter's annual checkup the doctor suggested putting her on a multivitamin and getting her to drink more water. I had some time to kill before I had to be somewhere else so I headed to the CVS down the street and planned on having to spend some cash which I was okay with, seeing as it was for the health of my daughter. I've also been getting $3 off $15 coupons from the machine frequently, so I figured I could at least get that.

I found cute little water bottles that were a great size for her. $4.19!!!! Oh, well. I needed something small for her. Then I went to the vitamins. After staring at the options I finally found a pretty good deal: $11.99 for CVS brand 150 kids chewable vitamins. Well, I knew I could use that $3 off then. So I headed for the coupon machine. Can you believe it printed out a $5 off $15?!?!?! Awesome! Went to the register and when the cashier rang up the vitamins she said, “Oh, these are buy one get one!” NO WAY!!!!! There were no signs or anything. So I walked out of there with two bottles of vitamins, and a ridiculously expensive water bottle for $11.37!!!! I wasn't even trying! :)

    • Sg

How do you do the e coupon for CVS? s

      • AH

there not not eCoupons for CVS, sorry

    • sonyapell

I asked Got2Be about the $2 off coupon expiring on 8/23, and this was their response.

“Hi Sonya, I wanted to get back to you asap and let you know that the coupon had a typo but will still be honored thru the end of September on our behalf. Most retailers will still redeem despite the expiration date. If you do find that ther…e is any problem with redemption, please note that we have another $2 coupon coming out in both the October issue and the special issue, “Guide to Beauty & Fashion” hitting Walmart stores on September 17th. I hope this helps Sonya and thank you again for reaching out to the team regarding your question. Much appreciated. Xx, Norel and the got2b team :)”

    • ireneY

      There's a Listerine Total mouth rinse that's clearanced at 50% off. I wonder if it'll generate a $2 ECB. Hmmm…

    • Jmccann

I have a question about the Crest toothpaste deal, if I bought two last week and got the extra bucks have I reached my limit or b/c the sale has started over will I be allowed to get two more?

    • NCcouponer

I have 2 $5/15 coupons. If I purchase $30 worth can I use them both??

Also, anyone know any grocery stores in the NC Triangle area that will accept these $/$$ coupons??

      • ScottK

Not likely, just do 2 transactions.

      • Guest

My manager said you can use as many of those coupons as you like. So, if you had a $4 off of $20 and a $5 off of $30, you can use both if you buy $50 worth of stuff. Your's will work if you buy $30 worth of stuff.

      • Guest

My Harris Teeter in High Point, NC will take “competitor's coupons” and they take those. Call your local HT and ask.

    • Shawna

Went to CVS today, scanned my card, and received q's that I really don't need. Then just for the fun of it, scanned my mom's card who is not a frequent CVS shopper like me and she got a $5/15 AND $5/25. Guess we will be using her card for this upcoming week!

    • Emhcoupon

Has anyone gotten the listerine coupon to open. Each time I click on it it asks me to sign in and I do and click on coupon and it repeats to sign in. Help please.

      • Christy

same thing just happened to me.

        • couponRN

          I have the same problem

          • couponRN

I closed out of the site and re-opened it and got it to work!!!!

      • Lori B. nsc

I held down my Ctrl button when I clicked on the click here link & it opened the coupon print screen. I was getting frustrated & just tried everything.

        • ASage

Thank you for the tip – I tried several times and it didn't work – then tried what you suggested and got it!

        • Jbfitnessrn

You are a genius! That worked! Thanks so much.

    • Caity

I just went to my local CVS that already had next weeks deals in effect. Just to let those of you who have been asking- I bought the blink tears from last weeks ad and still got ECB when I bought this weeks (this weeks is a gel kind and it's a little smaller than last weeks). They are two different products and two different ECB deals. :-)

      • beck

yay! i was wondering if that was a month-long deal or if it had been reset. Thanks!

    • Thecastelfamily

Thanks… I held the ctrl button too and the Listerene coupon finally printed… how frusterating :)

      • Andrea

THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT!!!! I had so many problems too, but got it to work by holding ctrl. I didn't even know about that trick! Thanks so much!

    • AKA

Can I use a $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon at CVS?

      • kim

If your store accepts competitors coupons. It usually has to do with the proximity to other drug stores so if there is a Rite Aid or Walgreens across the street or next door the odds are much greater. One CVS I shop at takes competitors coupons but the other one doesn't because it is the only store around ie. no competition.

    • Courtneyjoella

Did I mention I totally love your site and you have changed my life? I've shared this site several times when I'm Braggy Betty and have posted my savings on Facebook. I always give you props. Also my Girlfriends Unlimited ministry group at church knows all about ya since I shared during a lesson on savings. Your CVS stuff has been great as well. I love the kiosk they have. I got a $5 off $15 today and with all my coupons I saved $29 and spent $4. That's with two Aussie shampoos, two hairsprays, two hallmark cards and a tube of toothpaste. Not too shabby! Blessing!

    • cristy

M confused…i ad says pepsi is 4 for $13 and herein it says 4 for $10 m i missing something?

      • Koni71

Cristy, you are doing just find! No misunderstanding…Different areas have different sales…She probably posted what her CVS ad stated…Here in Miami Pepsi is 6/$10…So an even better deal for me, if I drank Pepsi…Coke until I die! LOL!!!

      • Soda is the one area of every stores ad that is very very regional. Sorry for the confusion on that one.

        • cristy

Don't be sorry at all jenny :) i cant thank you enough for all that you help me through this site :) i just wanted to know if i am not missing anything on dat deal…well also i went to stre today thinkin its going to be priced like 4 for $13 as per what my ad said but to my surprise it ws 4 for $10 so bonus ;)

    • Amber

I wanted to say “thank you!!!” to Jenny. I also wanted to share the awesome deal I just scored at CVS. I went in and scanned my card. Out popped a $5/$15!!! I was able to snag 14 Right Guard deodorants, 1 Blink Eye drops, and 2 Emerald 4.5 oz. nuts for free+tax!!! I used the $5/$15, 7 B1G1 coupons for Right Aid, a $1.50 Blink coupon, a $1.50/2 Emerald coupon, and $2 ECB. I paid $2.54 in tax, got back $7.99 in ECB and was able to pay using a $25 gift card I received from purchasing a new prescription!! I am soooo stoked!!!!

    • Nona

I bought the gillette proglide this week and there is a limit of one. is that for the whole month or just this past week? can I buy it again this week and get 5 more ecb??

      • AnonymousCVS

It's just for that week. You can do it again this week for 5 more!

    • Awesome! I love that I was able to check the things I plan on buying and print it out. Great site, thank you! :)

    • Lwclark

I need some help. I tried holding down the ctrl key for the listerine coupon and I still receive the sign in message. Yet everytime I sign in and try to get to the coupon print screen it keeps telling me to sign in again.

Any other suggestions? Thanks so much!

      • Lwclark

        Okay….I figured if I posted a question I would finally get it…and I did.

        Thanks anyway. :-)

        • Ashley

im having the same problem and every time i try to sign in it says the email or passwork isnt recognized even though I JUST created the account and i know i typed everything right…any suggestions on how it worked for you?

      • Talor2003

I left clicked with my mouse and when to open link. It printed then for me.

    • mb's mom

Great night at CVS! Scanned my card and got $3/$15 and 2 $4/$20!!! I already had a $5/$25 that I planned to use to get my deals. All in all I got:
      2-16 pack charmin
      6-boxes of puffs
      2-mitchum deoterants
      2-dove candy bars
      1-gillette proglide power
      10- Sobe waters
With all coupons, I spent $5. 26 OOP, and I have $10 ECB's left along with 2-$4/$20 coupons! Awesome trip!!!

    • JT

Still a newbie and learning – can I get a little guidance please? On deals that are say buy $25 worth of PG product, get $10 ECB. Does it have to be $25 before coupons?

      • meekoheather

Yes, it is $25 before coupons :)

      • Polly77

Yes it is your total before coupons :)

    • Angela

Did pretty good this week, spent $1.31 oop, saved $41.55 and got $12.99 back in ECB's. Gotta love CVS!

    • meekoheather

I wonder if anyone else has the same problem I do: I have had a CVS card for a few years now, and I know my address and email address is updated in their computer, as I get TONS of emails for online sales. I even checked online just to be sure. However, I rarely get coupons for $/$$. I know the coupons are out there as I see people post about getting them all the time. I also know other cards are printing them out. So I wonder why I rarely get them?

      • TracyStandage

This is happening to me too!! Same thing with the online coupons. No “In store” savings. If anyone knows the answer to this it would help! Thanks!

        • Mandy

I heard that the less you go to the stores, the more coupons you get. When I first signed up for my cvs card, and when I scanned it in store, I got a $4/$20 coupon almost every week. Then, one day, it stopped. I have never received them by email, even though I am signed up. I hear that is random…Some cards are lucky, some not so much.

      • Chatt Town

You're not alone. I have pondered this same situation for some time. My mother has a card which she rarely uses but gets email coupons every week. On the otherhand, I used mine frequently (until a month ago when I got tired of their sales) but rarely get an offer. Seems they don't use their offers on someone who frequents their stores often but on those who rarely frequent their stores. My guess is when their sales numbers go down, they may reconsider their strategy. Just guessing.

      • Firstbrownie

Check your settings online under your “profile”. They ask you if you want to receive coupons from them. For some reason, my “yes” keeps changing back to “no” within a few hours. I've changed it countless times to “yes”, but it never stays. I contacted customer service before, and they said it was strange. I supposed they fixed it for a while, because I received several coupons for a couple weeks, but then it stopped again. Just an idea….

        • MCoupons

My account does the same exact thing! Everytime I look up my card info is says I chose “no” for receiving coupons and I keep changing it. Please post if you every find a solution to the problem.

      • momof3inATL

I’ve found that if I purchase over $15 worth of items in one transaction, I’m typically given another q for the same face value. Therefore, I couple all of my transactions to total $15 before q’s. Also, use the in store scanner and scan your card upon entering the store. You may get some useful q’s there, as well.

    • Mkmorris430

Little frustrated at CVS because several items I went to purchase in the ad that started today was out of stock and I checked 3 different CVS stores. The clerks said they didnt have any yesterday either. Seems like they would stock up if they are putting things on sale. Also, none of the CVS stores here carry the Listerine Zero so I couldnt use my $2 off coupons.

      • AnonymousCVS

My manager explain it to me like this:
Whatever is in the ad this week (take Listerine for example) is shipped to us around 1 to 2 weeks out I believe. The crappy part is that he can't order any of that product the week before, the week of the sale or the week after the sale. So this means that when you go in on Sunday or Monday to get the product and we're out of stock, whatever we get in on the truck that week is what they have decided to send us…it makes absolutely no sense to me, but that's what he told a customer. Which also means that the warehouse sent us a bazillion paper towels and water…which we don't need. Lol. Maybe it's going on sale soon??

All I know is that I want my blink tears from last week and the Purex 3-in-1!!
        Hope this helps!

      • LD

I cant not find the Listerine Zero either. I checked more than CVS stores too a few others. But at CVS the total and the citrus ones where on clearance one for 1.49 the other for 2.49 and they gave the ECB's so if you use the $1 printable on these it is a good deal or money maker.

      • Jen

Make sure you get a rain check. They don't expire and you can use it at a later date. They will even give you the ECB for the items on sale.

      • Ebunnie63

i asked same question.. went on thursday, had an old rain check on bic razors, not on sale then, but a sale was to start on that sunday, they were out of stock, as i was in isle the girl was restocking the razors, truck came in the night before, i asked if she had any more bic razors in the box, she said no, the store only gets what they send.. i told her that one would think, that if a big sale was going to start, they would at least send one item? we had a “good laugh”, and she quickly left the isle.. i've heard this excuese a few times before.. how can they put an item on sale and not send any stock??? if i was to do that.. io'd go out of business…??

    • Bamabobbie

My Birmingham New had no John Frieda coupons. Wonder if we just didn't get any in this area???

      • r*sabah

I was wondering the same thing??

      • artlady

No John Frieda in Pensacola, FL either.

    • Kkwebb

Just finished CVSing. Had several ECBs getting ready to expire and a $5/15 that printed last week. Got 2 papermate pen packs, 4 snickers, 3 glade lasting impressions, 1 blink, 2 a&h 2in1, loreal mascara (75% off), 1 laundry helper (dryer balls). After coupons and ECBs, spent 3.56 OOP. Saved 67.02! Also got 10.99 in ECB!

    • Teej

Does anyone know if the CVS in Greer, SC accepts competitor coupons?

      • ScottK

The one beside bilo across from walmart said no when I asked before, but Suber road is so nice, who knows. I haven't asked them, but they always take expired cvs/manu coupons.

    • Lisa

I have a question regarding the $10 ECB wyb $25 Procter & Gamble products. Do I have to buy all these products at the same time? Since they're tracked on the card, will the $10 ECB print when I eventually reach $25 this week?

      • TinaO

Yes, they are tracked on your card and you do not have to buy them at the same time. Your ECB will print when you reach $25.

        • Sam

Ohh…I didn't know that! That is GREAT to know! Thanks TinaO!

    • Talor2003

Where can I find the crest coupons?

    • suzie

I would like to get another computer solely for printing coupons. My husband is worried about space. can I use a lap top & small cheap printer for this? OH & is this wrong….ie 2 computers 2 printers. I have mixed feelings about this. Thank You for your input….Suzie wmbgcoupon@cox.net

      • Brooke82

I think that many people use multiple printers and computers for printing coupons. Sometimes Jenny will even give scenarios using many coupons that you could only get by having several computers.

      • amy

You don't need a second printer, just a second computer. Just network the new computer to your existing printer or if that's too much for you, unplug the printer from the back of your old computer and plug into the second computer when printing your second batch of coupons.

I don't like doing it, but there are times when I have. I typically won't do more than 2 coupons per deal at a time, but sometimes the item you want/need comes up another week and the coupons have not reset yet, so in that case I will do it.

      • Tami

I print from my laptop and desktop on the same printer. I don't feel it is wrong at all. (I am pretty careful about what is ethical and what is not.). If it is really good I will print from my mom's computer and my husband's laptop. You just have to set it up to print from the same printer.

    • Freedomspradley1

Another great weet at CVS. Started with $12 ECB from last week and three -$5/25 CVS qs. Was able to get all this for $6 OOP and that inlcudes tax!
Charmin 16 pk, Bounty 16 pk, 3 Puffs, 3 John Frieda, 2 Listerine, 2 Glade Sense & Spray, 2 Arm & Hammer 2-in-1 Dryer Cloths, 2 Tropicana OJ, 2 Mentos Pure, 2 M&M singles, 1 Blink Gel Tears, and $6 ECB for next time,

    • Adivel99

Did everyone get 2 coupon inserts in the paper today(Sun)? The guide said there would be 2 Smartsource, but my paper had one. I checked the papers when I went into CVS and theirs only had one Smartsource. Just wondering what you all have found. I'm in Savannah. Thanks!

      • june

NE Indiana here. We only got one SS. Ok coupons, but not enough to get me to buy more than one paper. if I need more I'll order them.

        • Adivel99

I wonder why we got one, when two were supposed to come out? I thought we had been shorted. Glad to here from you!

      • Suemh

According to Jenny's preview, only one was scheduled.

        • Adivel99

Thanks. When I looked under the link for Sunday insert schedule it said there would be two. I guess the preview looked so long, I got confused!

      • WynetteC

It was not just you, I was wondering myself and checked another site, they showed only 1 smartsource and that made me feel a bit better.

    • Ariel

Just an FYI: I went into CVS just to get one item and found that a large number of the toys are on clearance. I have 3 kids and 7 neices/nephews. Of those 6 have birthdays between November 9 – Jan 4, so all around Christmas, so I do my shopping thru the year. They had the Kid tough cameras for $7.49 (retail 29.99), the Kids ATM (which is used like a piggy bank but teaches money responsibility) for $4.99 (retails for 19.99). I ended up with $120 worth of toys for $28 after only a $5/15 coupon and 2 ECBs!!!!
Hope everyone finds these great deals too!

    • Hisbabygirl_21

      Can I used expired ECBs?

      • Beckymcgarvey

        no… :(

      • SheriD

Usually, they will let you use it up to one week after expiration.

      • Ebunnie63

every here i go they read coupons to find any mistake i may have made, i always go by dates, better safe than sorry.. lol one less mistake makes me feel as i know what i doing,.. in most stores, i go into now, it's here she comes, she uses too many coupons.. so they watch every thing… lol… some people get scared if they don't understand something.. lol, the look on cashier's face when a 118.01 total due, goes down to .37 total due.. it has to be coupon fraud.. lol, lol!!

      • Bobbrooks52

no you can't use expired ECB but you can contact 1-800
shop CVS and they can reissue them.

      • ireneY

My favorite store takes expired ECBs. I stopped by another store yesterday and asked the manager. He said no, he didn't want to lose his job. Dramatic, to say the least.

        • just helping

If you would please just call 1800shopcvs this helps the store from losing profits. Cvs will gladly reissue your expired coupons. In reality cvs really wants you to use them we make money but when you dont keep up with the dates we actually lose money.

          • ireneY

Is this new? I called about reissuing expired ECBs about a year ago and they refused. I was miffed and almost stopped shopping at CVS because of it. The store must have started taking the expired to keep me happy.

    • luv2dance

Can you use a Catalina printed from Harris Teeter at CVS?

      • AH

you can if it says manufacturer's coupon on it

    • PTN96

Do I have to have as many items as I do coupons like you do at Walgreens?

      • Lisa

no. they aren't as picky as Walgreens is

    • Sg

Is there a forumla or does anyone have advice on determining which one of your personal scenario's should be used first? s

      • Ashley

When I first started creating scenarios, I literally played with it for what seemed like hours, lol. The goal is to pay nearly $0 out of pocket, just tax. I've had 3 transactions in a row before where my subtotal was $0. In my opinion, you can get anything you ever want for free.

If you're new, you will pay out of pocket your first trip. Say, the week before last you got the Dulcolax at $9.99 with $9.99 ECB back, but you used the $4 q. You pay $5.99 and make profit with $9.99 back. Buy things you don't need to make profit for what you do need.

Creating multiple transaction scenarios is how you go about crunching those numbers to where you pay little money. You use your ECB's from your first transaction to pay for your second. Your second transaction earns ECB's as well so you leave with “play money” for the next week.

        • Sg

Thank you. That makes alot of sense. S

      • Valerie

Ashley's response is how most people do CVS, I believe. I don't like to “nickel and dime” the cashier with multiple transactions, so I just pay OOP each week and save lots of ECB's for the next week. You have to have enough cash for the OOP in your wallet, though, and some people's budgets are tighter than others'.

    • Richfolk5too

I sent my husband to CVS with list & coupons in hand. After he checked out, the clerk said that it was the best receipt he'd ever seen! (Lots of ECB) To me, it was just an average receipt from CVS for those of us who are Southern Savers fans. Thanks, Jenny

    • Makclair

Not sure what is up with our CVS in Easley (the one in front of Ingles). I went last night at 5 pm, and they had already taken down all the week's sale signs, yet they hadn't even started putting up this week's signs. I had no clue which toothpaste was actually on the ECB deal, ect. I scanned a few things to find that they hadn't even set the new ad yet (usually it is up at noon the saturday before it starts).

So i ended up coming back this afternoon at 1 pm. There were still no sale signs up, I had to use the redbox to scan things to make sure they would ring up correctly. Then after all that, the guy who checked me out missed one of my Glade coupons.

Anybody returned and then re-bought the same item with a coupon?

      • ScottK

You have to understand that they're a retail store. If they're usually scheduled for a manager, an associate, and a cashier, and two of those don't show up…the manager can't be the cashier and put signs up…It wasn't too hard to price check them, was it? Just be glad it wasn't rite aid or walgreens that don't have price checkers :)

      • tygirl13

I totally understand your frustration. Two out of the three CVS in my area NEVER put up sale/ECB tags. I always have to grab a sale paper on my way in and use it to compare to the items on the shelf. I use the redbox a lot. To answer your question, most stores are very accomodating if you forget a coupon. I once did the same thing…I went into the store (when they weren't busy) and explained that I had missed a coupon. The cashier “returned” it, and then re-rang it w/ the coupon. Good Luck!

      • tarheelbaby1

I carry a flyer through the store and verify the product name/size. Then I scan the items at the red machine to verify before I check out. It's a bit of a pain, but my store doesn't consistently post the sale prices and ECB items either. It's hit or miss.

      • AnonymousCVS

You don't have to return the item. Just tell them that you/they/someone missed the coupon and they should be able to ring up the coupon and hand you cash back. I missed one yesterday for $1 off. Told my supervisor and she handed me $1. It's sooooo much easier than refunding the item and ringing it back up.
Please, at all costs, avoid refunds. Lol. They are such a pain! I don't understand why the system has us refund, return the money and THEN ring up a different item…it seems like they could update that stuff and do it in one transaction! Lol.

    • Debmarion09

I am new to this.. I have one question.. I finally got an ECB at CVS. Do I need to use the ECB on the purchase of the same item? I bought the tide on sale last week and got the $2 ECB . Can I use that on any purchase in the store or does it have to be for Tide?

I do love this site.. its the best.. Thanks and keep the info coming… Deb

      • You can use it on any item.

      • Bobbrooks52

Yes you can use it for any item except for what is excluded on the bottom of the ECB

    • AJ

Happily found out my CVS had yesterday's Sunday papers on sale for 75 cents each this morning. They don't usually discount them. So I picked up 2 papers, 1 bottle of eye drops, used $1.50 coupon on the drops and $7.99 ecb from last week's drops and gave 74 cents cash. Such fun! :-) And my favorite cashier was back at her post. All in all a happy CVS trip.

    • Couponmom9876

So tired of not getting the coupons in our paper that you talk about!! We only had SS in yesterdays paper, NO RP at all!!! And the SS was obviously not the good ones that you have listed on here!! UUUGH!

      • Verabelle

There wasnt a RP insert this week in any paper.

      • tygirl13

yeah, uh, nobody got RP b/c they didn't publish one. I was disappointed to not get the John Frieda coupons. That's just way it goes.

        • Meganclaycohen

it was in the ss first page, normally i dont get the extras either so i hope that you might have just looked over it.

        • Mommysauls

I live in Rocky Mount ,NC and i got the news and observer and the RM telegram . the SS in the News & observer had the Frieda Q but the RM paper SS did not .. But there are alot of diffrent Q in both of them ..

    • Julie

If I got the blink tears deal last week, can I also get it this week? is it limit 1 per week, or month?

      • AJ

This week's deal is separate from last week's. Jenny usually mentions if it's a month-long deal. You can see for sure by comparing the deal number from the 2 ads. If the deal number is different, it's a different deal.

For this deal, I did last week's drops deal and used last week's 7.99 ecb on THIS week's bottle and my 7.99 printed just fine. Fun stuff. This is why I <3 CVS and hardly look at Walgreens. Wouldn't be able to do this at Walgreens.

    • Tdmkem

My CVS in Powdersville had Listerine citrus on clearance for $1.24. Bought 2 and had 2 $1.00 coupons. Got both for .48 cents and it still printed me out an ECB for $4.00

      • Susanjf

I found the same thing and was so excited! Paid to use mouthwash. :)

    • Don’t know if anyone is looking for diapers, but just posted a blog on an amazing deal…

      • Teaguewoman

Just read your blog. How awesome is that! Was wondering if all the codes in the magazines are the same? I have the August issue of Parenting code, but not the other two (Sept. Parenting and the Parents code). Would you be willing to send me the codes? teague woman AT yahoo DOT com

    • Hsermersheim

How does the Loreal ad “B1G1/50%-off” coordinate with a “B1G1/Free” coupon? Anyone know?

      • artlady

I think that the B1G1 free coupon would probably make the 50% off product free, not the full price product. So you'd pay full price for 2, basically. But if you have a B1G1 coupon plus a $ off 1 product coupon, you should be able to use both on the store sale.

        • Maria

When I have a BOGO Q to pair with a BOGO 50% sale, my cvs takes off the more expensive product (given that they were the same price before the sale).

    • a new saver

My first try at CVS: Went to my McDonough CVS Monday a.m. and they were already out of some sale items even though the sale prices were not even on the shelves yet. Yes, I did get rain checks, but my scenarios were all messed up, and I ended up spending more than I intended. Do you all find it necessary to go to the sales on Sunday?
How soon are the sales and scenarios posted on southern savers?
Can anyone give me tips/formulas for figuring out scenarios that save the most ? I spent hours pouring over this, and it still turned out disappointingly.

Thank you, Jenny, for all of your info. I have saved money already at Kroger and Publix.

      • Rachel797

Don't give up! Some weeks turn out better than others! I just try to remember that I am saving a lot more money than I was before I started couponing. It is a great feeling to get things for free or next to free, but I always enjoy a good deal, too. I have found that things get restocked throughout the week sometimes. I have had luck even on a Saturday afternoon.

        • AJ

I like to shop my Publix the last day of the sale. They've usually restocked from the frenzied week and I don't have much competition for the good deals. For my CVS, I have a great one that usually has extras of the really good deals hanging out at the register, so if I don't see it where it's supposed to be, I check out the displays near the register. Although this week, I didn't find any Listerine Zero. Not even a place on the shelf. Shrug, still got great deals and I <3 CVS!!

        • a new saver

Thanks for the encouragement! I'll try again next week! :)

          • Queennana0725

When I was getting started I messed up many times. My daughter would spent 12 cents and I would spend $12 and we were buying the same items! After doing this for several months now I am really saving money. I think that I just “caught on” and had my stash of coupons built up. Don’t give up! It is fun and I love sharing my savings (and the products) with my friends and family. Don’t give up!

      • amber

I live in SE Florida, & ive run in to similar issues. I would go in on a tuesday & theyd already be out of most of the ECB producing items. So I asked them when they usually get more in. They told me that they get their shipments in on tuesdays, so now I always go on tuesdays. I'd reccomend you find out the same thing, then you can plan your scenarios with out worrying that theyll be out of what you need. Dont give up!

        • amber

haha I meant wednesday… So now I go on tuesdays :)

        • a new saver

Thank you for taking the time to advise me. I will try the same thing! :)

      • Crzy6547

It all depends on the store… Ask the store you are shopping when they stock their shelves. My CVS gets their truck in Tuesday and that is when they fill their shelves. .I find it if I wait until Wed they are already out of stock of some things. HTH

      • nancy11442

I have to agree with this person. I just had the trip from hell @ CVS. The cashier was wonderful but made a few mistakes which cost me $15. He was trying to help but ended up costing me money which I had to go back and reclaim. I think I tried to buy too much at one time. I know some people do multiple transactions and that's hard. Where you buy certain, cash out and then use ECB's on next items. I can't think like that. Maybe I need to buy, get bucks, take that to the car and go back in. I don't know. I'm just frustrated with this and yet I want to get the bang for my buck. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

        • Dee

Jenny's website is great and I routinely come here instead of other sites; however, there are some sites that have an excel spreadsheet you can download and fill in all of your information: starting ECB, items to be purchased in multiple transactions, ECB earned from each transaction applied to the next…etc. search for: i heart cvs and you'll find the spreadsheet.

        • marinewife

I don't see anything wrong with purchasing 1 transaction, taking it to your car, and then coming in to do a second. If it helps you feel less flustered and will help you save even more money, then hey, why not? That's the goal of the couponing anyway. I know what you mean, though…when you get up there sometimes it can be hard to remember to give your CVS card, scan all your items, scan your green bag tag, hand over alllllll the coupons, and still make sure that everything is ringing up properly. I have forgotten things before, too. Don't be discouraged! I'm sure it will get easier and more fun with time. :)

          • Leslindsey

thanks for putting this out there…i thought it was just ME trying to do all this at once!

        • When I first started, I would do my first transaction, take it to my car, then go back in with a clear head to do the 2nd transaction. It was good to have a couple of minutes to think before starting the second transaction. It does get easier. Last week I got 95.00 worth of stuff for 16¢ plus tax.

      • Freedomspradley1

My first couple trips to CVS went just like yours and I didn't think I would ever be as efficient as some of the people who post on here. After about 3 weeks at it I went from spending $20/week to about $8/week and I get more and better stuff now. It just takes time for you to get the hang of arranging your transactions. Always take a notepad and calculator with you so you can work through the transactions before going to the cashier. You should always have alternate deals in mind just in case what you really want is not on the shelf so your transactions will still work out. If you realize you are going to be spending a lot OOP because your transactions aren't working out you have to learn to walk away. I often have to go back on another day or hit a different store to find something in stock and I finish out my deals then.

    • I haven't seen it mentioned here…but the P&G Brand Saver for August had a $2.00 coupon for any Crest mouthwash. I used this in conjunction with the Crest Pro-Health rinse and it turns out to be a money maker of $1.01 after the ECBs. I've used this coupon 3 times so far on 2 different trips and the computer accepts it. So hurry up and get your deal before they expire!

      • Sarah

I used the $2.00 coupon also for a money maker on the mouth wash. It worked just fine twice!

        • Guest

Coupons will often 'work just fine' even if they are used incorrectly. The computer/register can only use the information given by the product barcode and the coupon barcode, and there is not enough information in those 2 barcodes for the register to know that the coupon is actually not appropriate for the size being purchased. Registers are only as smart as the information in the coupon, and coupons are not very smart. That doesn't make it okay to mis-use them.

      • marinewife

I'm pretty sure that this coupon was only meant to be used for the 1 Liter size. (I used mine already…so I can't be sure). Might want to double check what the coupons says, even if it still scans.

      • LB514

This coupon is intended for the 946mL (1 qt) size. This week's sale is for the smaller (16.9oz/500mL – 25.4oz/750mL) size.

I understand that the cashier accepted it and the computer did not beep, but that still doesn't mean it's ok to use the coupon for a smaller size than it is intended for, and it does not mean that CVS will be reimbursed for that coupon either – it's likely they will take a loss. Not judging, just want everyone to be able to make an informed decision about whether or not to try and use this coupon for this sale.

    • Jmccann

Does anyone know if I can buy the Crest toothpaste again and get more extra bucks if I already bought 2 last week when it was on sale in that ad? or since this is a new ad can I go and get 2 more?

      • Susanjf

You can get 2 more- did it last week and then again today!

        • Guest

The limit is actually a total of 10 for the promotional period, however you can only purchase 2 per transaction.

    • Barb75Dean

I'm trying to get the Listerine $2 coupon and the website keeps saying “Whoops unable to process your request, please try again.” Anyone else had that problem? If yes, what did you do to fix it?

      • rattymatazz

I had this problem Saturday, so I just kept trying periodically throughout the day until it finally let me register. I think the site may be bogged down from all of the activity. HTH ;-)

    • tlevCtfarms1

what is the $100 coupon book

      • Ginger

It's a coupon book you get as a rebate from P&G.

    • Dustypyatt

      Has anyone noticed on the:
      Colgate Pro Clinical toothpaste $3.33
That the summary at the bottom of the receipt says:
Colgate, Buy 3 Get 10 EB??

I only got $2 EB, like the add says…..

    • Mathgeekmom

Everytime I try to print the listerine coupon it asks me to sign in again. Anyone having a similar problem, or know how to get it to print?

      • Bimmy

Look in your email inbox and access site from there. It worked for me doing it that way

    • Mike

I almost let a 5 off of 15 expire tonight!!!!- be sure to check those- they have a very short life- I bought the 4 for 10 pepsi (diet mountain dew) and a face scrubber clean and clear thingy for my 15 year old – I had dollar off coupons for the Pepsis and a $2 off for the Clean and clear thingy- used the 5 off and the 4 bonus bucks and out of pocket- .80!!!! not bad for a DAD!

      • tygirl13

“face scrubber clean and clear thingy”
        Haha, I love it!!

You sound like a great dad. More kids need dads who care enough to get a “face scrubber clean and clear thingy” for them. I hope yours appreciate how blessed they are. Congrats on the great deal. I haven't gotten a $/$$ in a while, but am holding out for later this week since they seem to have been popping up for a lot of other people.

        • 3monkeysmom

You're right, he must be a great dad :-) My dad was like that..he always bought tampons/pads for my sister and I with no problems. The only thing he wouldn't buy us was underwear….he didn't like the dirty looks from the dept. store cashiers when he asked them where they kept the little girls' panties ;-)

      • Wish I had some dollar off coupons for Pepsi!

      • Guest

5/15's and 10/30's are normally only valid for 3 days.

    • Callen2008

Does anybody know what zip code to use for the maybelline coupon

      • RLeBlanc

I'm trying to find out the zip for the maybelline q also. My CVS has the Maybelline Stilleto (sp?) on clearance for .97 down from 9.97!!! I really would like some of those $1 q's!!!

    • Brooke99

Any of you have problem print sobe coupons ? My keep saying Sorry! You have already printed
this coupon the number of times allowed

I though you can do until 9/14/10

      • Amy

I heard that happens when a person prints too many coupons per computer. My sister also couldn't print sobe coupons (she was printing 6/day) and the next day she couldn't print bricks coupons at all. I think she can now print bricks but still not sobe. I can still print them fine so I'm sure the promotion isn't over.

      • Angel_in_Charleston

I got that message for the first time today, after printing Sobe coupons almost daily for over a week. Guess the fun had to end sometime, but I was counting on it to last through the end of the promotion. Oh well, it was great while it lasted!

    • Allison W.

Our CVS (Athens, GA) also had Loreal cosmetics, B1 G1 50% off. There are several Loreal coupons out there as well.

    • Freedomspradley1

I found Claritin Reditabs 10 ct on the clearance rack for $2.82 that went perfectly with printable -$3/1 on Claritin Non-Drowsy manf q's. It was a great find!!

    • Psims

My CVS let me buy 2 Pepsi 12-pks. for $5.00 I did not have to buy 4.

    • Agwilson31

I am LOST!!! I notice that you are showing 3 of the John Frieda coupons, are you saying that we need to purchase 3 papers in order to get this coupon? I only had two coupons in and they were $3 and $2. Just getting started. Thanks

      • marinewife

Yes, in order to use (3) $3.00 off coupons, you would need to buy 3 newspapers.

      • Freedomspradley1

The John Frieda website was giving $2.50 off 1 item on it's website last time this deal was running about a month ago. They may still be doing it but I haven't tried it this week.

      • june

Or check out a coupon clipping site………….

      • Brooke82

The Wal-Marts and many stores here in Arlington, Tx sell two Sunday papers in one package for only $2.89.

        • funnybunny

Have you tried a Dollar Tree store???? Ours sell the Sunday paper for $1 …. the cheapest I could find so far!

      • Yes you need to buy multiple papers. There is 1 $3.00 and 1 $2.00 coupon per paper.

      • Agwilson31

Thanks everyone. That cleared up the confusion.

    • Lisa

In the list above, she has $1.00 off Bounty, PG 8/1 and $1.00 off Crest toothpaste, PG 8/1. I am confused…..my PG only had a $.25 off Bounty and a $.75 off Crest. I know there are variations every week, but I thought the PG insert was the same nation-wide. Are there variations for PG also? The coupon variation link for my paper that I glanced at earlier in the month showed no variation for the PG insert…..so I just assumed I would have everything.

      • Sandy

        There were variations this time.

      • di

        i noticed that too………………lisa

    • Benanddevonhanna

Someone told me that you can use one (1) coupon multiply times. Is this correct. For example, if you only had one toothpaste coupons but wanted 2 toothpaste, can you use the one coupon twice?

      • Sam

coupons starting with5 can be doubled, for example in kroger, but they can't be used twice,I think.

      • No. Manufacturer's coupons can only be used once. The cashier keeps it after the scan.

    • Sam

can anybody plz answer me?I bought 5$ worth of household items. We need to purchase 10$ worth of household items to get 3extrabucks.Can I buy another 5$ in another transaction to get ecbs.

          thank u

    • Amarch29

Did anyone find the coupon for John Freda root awakening I got 2 papers and a friend looked in hers too and we couldn't find them anywhere

      • Sam

I found it in houston newspaper.post your place name, anyone from your place may answer.

      • Guest

Those coupons are regional, meaning some areas got them and some did not.

    • LTodd

If I did the BLINK tears deal last week…can I do it again? Thanks! :)

      • Firstbrownie

Yes, it is a different kind; from all the comments, it seems that people have been able to buy both.

    • Scrappyautie

Spent $8 OOP, saved $60, and got back $15 in ECB…..so much FUN! Picked up a couple Listerines, Blink, 4 CVS bodywashes on clearance, 3 John Frieda shampoos, etc. CVS is the best ; )

    • Scrappyautie

Bought 2 Glade Lasting Impressions, 2 Listerines, 3 John Frieda shampoos, 4 CVS bodywashes, Blink, etc. Spent $8 OOP (saved $60) and got back $15 ECB. CVS is so much fun ; )

    • Our Crest coupons in PG were only 75 cents…boohoo!!

    • Virginiarx

There is a pamphlet in the pharmacy “The 50 Million Pound Challenge” with a coupon for $ off nuts or trail mix. No Mfr specified. It is a store coupon.

    • Snowski824

Does anyone know of any coupons for CVS giftcards with new prescriptions? Or if CVS accepts expired coupons for things like that?

      • Guest

CVS coupons for prescriptions usually come either through direct mail or at the scanner or on your receipt. They don't put them out in ads very often. Most stores do not accept expired coupons (some do, but you have to ask at your individual store b/c most don't). Many of them will accept competitor's coupons for prescriptions, though, so if you have any stores in your area that currently have coupons out for new/transferred prescriptions, call your local CVS and ask if they'll take it as a competitor's coupon. (Rite-Aid, Target, and some grocery stores put these coupons out fairly frequently).

    • Dayludo

I'd really like to get the John Frieda coupons. Anyone know a website that has them? I'm in the Charleston area of SC. Anyone have a zip code where Smart Source offered them in the paper?? Can I use a coupon from another state, printed online or otherwise?? Thank you!

      • You can probably get them from coupondede(DOT)com. If you order now they will ship today. It normally takes me two days to receive them and I live just above Columbia. However, like all of these sites, there is a minimum $3 order.

      • recruiter

maybe at the wild for wags website not sure which ones you are looking for but there was two in these weeks ad that could be printed

    • Hootiesoftball

I am still fairly new to couponing, as far as transferring a RX from like Walgreens to CVS (to get the $25 gift card), how hard is this to do, I mean is there alot of paperwork and could you transfer back to Walgreens without alot of hassel? I wanted to try this and keep the gift card for later (probably Christmas to purchase one of those little portable tv's for my children)? Any suggestions?

      • Gingiraffe

It's VERY EASY!!! You just walk up to the pharmacy, tell them you want to transfer a Rx, tell them what it is, where it is and usually just your DOB. If you have never filled one there before they may need your insurance card. I've transferred all over the place to keep keeping the gift cards. It takes generally no more time to transfer than to get a new Rx, so it is definietly worth it! $25 for 2 minute max of work (you will have to wait for the Rx, but that's nothing new!). And Publix will usually take the RtieAid transfer coupons too, so you can use those there as another place to transfer!

        • Mommysauls

Do you have to have a RX to fill the day you transfer to get the giftcard or no?

    • Cutiern79

Once you get ECBs can you use them on any items in the store or can you only use them on the same items that you purchased to get them in the first place?

      • Anything except alcohol, tobacco, gift cards. I have seen that they may not be used on milk, but I'm not so sure.

        • Sam

I used ecbs for milk also, they didnot pose any objection.

        • Firstbrownie

My store often has deals where you get ECB when you buy milk, so I know my store takes them for milk.

    • Ss310279

Can I use MFR Q on Windex and Glade for the buy $10 get 3RR promo, or does the $10 have to be after coupons?

      • Ss310279

        *ECB* sorry

      • The $10 is before coupons.

    • Gingiraffe

Super excited about this week! Went in the other day to get some photos printed and got a $5/$25 coupon from the card scanner. Used it today to do the P&G deal and I also got ANOTHER $5/$25 from the scanner! So I did the John Frieda deal and some other stuff too! Left with $11 ECB! Woohoo!

      • shellito1012

I wish I could get that coupon…they are no longer taking the RA $5 off $25 in conjunction with ECB's so I would love to get those….

    • Christi

I can't get the Listerine coupon to print. It keeps saying “wrong validation word”. I know I'm getting it right. Any suggestions???

      • Which browser are you using? When I was trying to get that q, it kept telling me that my email or password was wrong. I had them send my password. What they sent was not my original password, but after about 4 tries it went through. But when I tried to print the coupon, it always went back to the sign in screen. I finally opened internet explorer and went to the site and it worked. I had been using Firefox.

      • tori729

I had to do the same thing as Suemh. I used IE to register (still had to do it twice) then I had to have them send me a temporary password 3 times before it worked. A lot of work just for free rinse but I needed it to use my $5/$30.

    • shellito1012

Just a heads up for the Athens, AL area…..our CVS takes competitor coupons, however, I was told today that you could not use a competitor coupon along with a ECB. She said it had been in effect for four or six weeks, but I have been purchasing stuff there every week and using my coupons, ECB and the Rite Aid $5 off $25. She said you could still use it, but not in conjunction with ECBs. She is not a regular employee there and when I asked for a rain check she had to ask someone else what that store's number was so I am wondering if she is misinfomed or if this is really the case. Anyone know any differently….or been told the same?

    • Amt1218

I am so frustrated with myself. I just recently let a couple of rite aid register rewards expire.. they will not take them even if it's just one day. I also just came across a CVS one that expired almost a week ago.. does anyone know if they will still take it? It's for $8.00. I am so angry at myself. I try and try to keep organized but every now and then I screw up!!!!

      • shellito1012

I have done that with Walgreens RRs and I know that it just makes you feel terrible….so just writing to give my sympathies!

      • Jeannie

My CVS takes expired ECBs with no problem. Good luck!

    • Queennana0725

I buy multiple papers every week and I'm starting to feel guilty. There isn't a paper recycling collection place in my area. We had one near a park for awhile and some “jerks” keep setting it on fire! Last week I purchased 3 papers and only they only had the one insert.
What are you doing with all the wasted paper? I feel bad just dumping the whole papers into the trash.

      • pfsinnh

You can always order your coupons from a clipping service. I just ordered my coupons for next week's sales at Danielle's Coupon Paradise. She has really good rates and it will save you alot of wasted paper.

      • Val

If you have kids, ask your children's teachers (including art teachers!) if they would have any use for the papers.

      • Rita

Ask your local animal shelter if they can use your papers. Or post an ad on Craigslist asking if anyone in your area can make use of them.

      • Meme

We compost our newspapers. Tear them into shreds and mix with grass clippings. Remember, newspapers are considered brown material (wood base) so they need green to even out the chemical balance. Within no time you have luscious loam to use for potting plants and enriching the soil. Also, newspapers several thicknesses can be used for weed cloth. It really keeps the weeds from popping through. It can be covered with hay or mulch for a more pleasing look. We have gardened this way for years and saved a ton on more expensive materials.

        • Gael, FL

I am loving this suggestion about the weed cloth and am going to start saving papers to do that. I happen to have a left-over bail of hay from our rabbits, too. Now after I put down newspapers (how thick do you suggest?), should I put something heavier than hay or mulch, like rocks, on it to hold it in place? (

      • Carolinepetal

buy one paper and ask the owner of the business to allow you
to take out the coupon books you need from the papers he is
putting outside for the garbage collection. Store owners usually allow me. sometimes collection is at midnight so you may have to find a shop that puts out the paper for garbage earlier. some put out sunday paper on monday

      • Gael, FL

Ours go into our regular recycling that takes everything mixed together. I use a few to clean windows and mirrors first, but they still can go in the bin. Maybe there's a nursing home, hospital, or someplace open that you drive past where you could just drop them in a waiting room. That's what I often do with magazines. I've been in plenty of places I'd be glad to find a paper even if it's not right up-to-date.

    • Cheap Is Good

Hey Everybody, I'm new to this so I need some help. Does the Atlanta “AJC” have PG coupons in the Sunday edition? I took a quick look last week and only saw a SS insert. What do I need to be looking for???/ Thanks

      • Val

P&Gs don't come out every week. You will usually only find them once a month in a newspaper. Use Jenny's weekly insert link above to find out what coupons were released in your area in any given week.

    • meme

I just have to “brag” a little. Can't wait for Friday finals. I stopped at a CVS this afternoon and did a short list. I saved $112.66 and spent $2.53. I came home with $13 in ECB's and have a raincheck $2 ECB coming in the mail. I think I have finally arrived!

      • Tif

Do you care to share how? That is awesome!!!!

    • tmmb04

Had a good trip today to CVS. I bought 2 Listerines, 1 Gillette profusion razor, and 1 Schick quatro (from a raincheck) in one transaction, and the Bounty, Charmin, and 3 Puffs tissue boxes in another transaction. I spent 28.81 oop, but received 20 ECBs. I virtually spent 8.81 on all of the items above if you subtract the ECBs. Now, I have the ECBs for next week. Does anyone have an idea what is on sale at CVS next week? Or at Kroger because my Kroger takes ECBs and up+ rewards as comp. coupons. I am really hoping for Pampers to be on sale.

      • pfsinnh

Go to “iheartcvs(dot)com” and you can look at next week's sale. :)

        • tmmb04

          Thank you.

    • Poorwoman

Has anyone had a problem getting the $2 Biore coupon to print? I have used three different computers and I keep getting the you've already printed this as many times allowed… and I KNOW that I didn't from at least one of the computers! Help?

      • DonnaTN

that's what it says when they are out of coupons

      • Mitchellkramb

i honestly adore my CVS. they always have coupons out (store and manuf) on a little table by the makeup that no one ever sees. Right now theres CVS store coupons for $1 off Colgate pro-clinical toothpaste (great deal when stacked with $1 manuf coup!!) as well as a huge stack of manufacturer $2 off any Biore products (I was worried initially as well since the printables seem to be harder to get for this particular brand right now… I rmeember a few months back the $2 off ocupons were EVERYwhere! so annoying).

    • HeatherB

I went to my CVS yesterday and many of the things on this list as specials were not on special. I had planned on buying the Crest toothpaste for the ECB's and then getting a couple of other things, but there were no ECBs with Crest toothpaste listed. I even had her double check at the register with no luck. I didn't see this week's insert. I just took it off this website. Did I miss something?

      • artlady

You should probably check your local store's ad. I bet you can even search for that online via CVS's site…. One thing to remember is that the toothpaste also comes in a 6 oz bottle (but it's the 4 oz. bottle that is actually on sale for ECB). If you go back in to check, make sure you pick up a 4 oz bottle of the “Crest ProHealth Clinical Gum Protection.” I scanned this at the red price scanner in my store; it told me that the price with card was 3.49, but did not mention ECB back… even though you will still receive the 2.50 ECB stated in the ad.

    • Dejaik

The Crest is actually a limit of 3, yay!

    • Dayludo

My color in cartridge is really low… do coupons have to print in color? Has anyone used black and white coupns? I'm wondering b/c usually coupons say they can't be copied, but if I print in black and white, doesn't it look more like it was copied?

      • SusanStauffer

I print all my coupons in black and white, and have never had any coupon questioned or denied. Some of them even say on them that they may be in color or black and white.

        • Gael, FL

I print grayscale on fast and have no troubles and have been doing this for months. It also depends on your printer and the quality. My son's printer doesn't give good enough quality unless I print standard and do color.

      • Kelly

I believe it is the printed Smartsource coupons that say something along the lines of “this coupon may appear in color or in black/white.” We have 2 printers, 1 is a desk jet all in one and the other is a b/w laser printer. I've been questioned on my b/w coupons before, but they've never been refused. Now that I say that, I'm sure it will happen and I will lose my cool!

      • Dayludo

Thanks for the help everyone! I definitely don't want to use all that colored ink when ink cartridges are sooo expensive.

    • Nancybgood14

everyone used black and white Q as long as it scans. it is good. You can even set r printer to print in a lighter black color to save on ink. it works. they never question it at the stores. hth

    • jen

saw someone post about a diaper deal on amazon (there was a link on here for it). I have all the coupon codes except one from the August Parenting magazine (the one that starts with an X). If anyone gets that magazine and isn't planning on using the amazon/diaper coupon, can they let me know? jenissa@gmail.com

      Thanks in advance!

    • Bessie

Has anyone had a problem buying multiples of an item (in my case 2 Listerine) and presenting 2 Listerine coupons and the cashier refusing to do them in one transaction because the coupon states (as most coupons do) limit one coupon per purchase? I had a horrible experience last night at CVS. I didn't have my usual cashier. I had purchased several items in addition to the Listerine and I was trying to use a $5 off $15 purchase and an ECB and pay very little oop, but because of the cashier refusing to do my 2 Listerine, I didn't have enough before tax to use my ECB.

      • Kelly

I've had that happen too, not just at CVS, but Publix and Target, too. It doesn't say transaction, it says purchase, so each item you are buying is considered a purchase. It says this on the coupon so that you don't use 2 identical coupons on 1 item. This is what I tell the cashier and most of the time, they “get it.” I've had other cashiers who have to call over a manager, who then tells them pretty much the same thing I did! As long as you have a coupon for each item, you are doing everything right.

    • Mommysauls

? the $4 of 20 or more Q you get when you sign up , can you use this Q more than once? it lets you print it again..

      • Sandy

Nope. It's linked to your card. One time use only!

        • Mommysauls

          • Melanieplynch

I signed up for the CVS emails, expecting my $4 off $20 coupon instantly and didn't get it. I called CVS the next day and they said it could take 24 to 48 hours to come via email. SOOO, I gave it one more day and then called again (it was holding up my shopping trip!). The lady submitted my email address yet again for the deal, but I still have yet to receive it three days after first signing up for CVS emails! Anyone else have this experience? Just wondering what is going on…

    • julies

has anyone been able to do the John Frieda deal more than 1x like in the past???

    • Jordan

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Listerine deal is a moneymaker on some varieties! The citrus burst (regular Listerine) and Cinnamint (Listerine Total Care) are on clearance at my CVS for $1.24. I couldn't get the $1.00 coupons to print at the Listerine site so I had to pay full price, but getting $2 EB on each bottle still means I made $1.52!
This is a better deal than the Listerine Zero ($3.99 – $2 Q = $1.99 and get $2 EB) which I couldn't find at my store anyway (apparently a lot of CVS stores don't carry it).

    • Jdclayton3

My CVS just put tons of paper towels and toilet tissue on 75% off as they are discontinuing some package sizes.

    • sc

Is there a limit to how many coupons you can use in one transaction at CVS?
      I bought:
root awakening shampoo and used a $3 manufacturer Q
root awakening conditioner and used a $3 manufacturer Q
john frieda styling product and used a $2 manufacturer Q
then also got finish dishwasher detergent and used a $.50 man Q
then tried to use a $3 ECB
      and a $2.5 ECB
      and a $2.5 ECB
so the cashier said that the computer would not take the last $2.5ECB because I had reached my coupon limit?

      • Angel_in_Charleston

Could it have been that your total was less than $2.50 at the point the cashier refused the last ECB?

well…my total was 3.99 before she scanned my last ECB, so I'm not sure if that is it. It was still a good deal, but I just walked out of the store paying more than I'd planned, thought I'd pay. $1.5 but ended up paying $4.

      • ECBs do not cover tax. Just check your subtotal before offering your final ECB.

Can somebody tell me if you get ECB from a deal that has a limit one week, can you get it again if they run the ECB deal in the next couple weeks? Thanks!

      • Usually they are different offers week to week, occasionally they have the same offer # and are considered a month long deal. Jenny will let us know when they are month long tho.

So today I was wandering around CVS a bit looking for dental floss actually and I decided to work a deal because the red machine gave me a 3 off 15. I had 7.99 ecbs from the blink and the listerine qs I was gonna use in Publix. I grabbed two Listerine Zeros and the Razor because I noticed that my q was expiring soon and it is something that I can give away.
I handed him my card and the qs but he set them down and scanned the stuff first. Then he tried the bag tag and it didn't work because he hadn't scanned the card first so he did that but still left the qs sitting there. So I handed him my 3 off 15 and my 7.99 ecb. Then he finally remembered the qs. Well my total ended up being 1 cent. I have never had that happen before because Usually I give the man qs first and sometimes lose a little value of the ecbs because the tax thing works different but apparently you get the tax ammount with the cvs qs if you use them first. I was expecting to pay about a buck so I was thrilled!

Went in CVS today to finish up this week's deals. Bought 6 bottles of Mentos Gum which were B1G1 Free. Used two .55/1 q's and two $1/2 q's. Also found baby orajel on clearance for 1.87. Bought 3 packs and used three $1.00 off q's. Used a $5.00 ECB from last shopping trip and my subtotal was a NEGATIVE 12 cents!! With tax, I paid $0.73. Very good trip!!
