    • CouponingCollegeStudent

Just received a $5 off $30 coupon from CVS in my email :)

    • Crafty_cat_86

My weekly ad for CVS next week doesn't have the coke deal, but it does have a Pepsi one 4/$10 after ECB (21740).

      • Meghan

Where do you find your local CVS ad? I hope mine has the coke deal! It's all my husband drinks :)

        • Sb

Go to CVS website to look at this weeks ad and there will be a link for “upcoming weekly ad”

          • Meghan

            Duh!! Thank you :) :)

      • Southern Ga is coke =)

      • Amy

Mine has the same Pepsi deal, in Western Kentucky. I'm definitely picking those up!

      • DianaY19

My CVS (charlotte, nc) has the Coke $3/11 so they would be $3.66 a piece with only a $2 ecb so they would be $3 each after ecb

I tried the nursery water one and it was 55 cents off 2, not $1.00 off 1.

    • jennaj81

How many Green Bag Tags can a person have per ExtraCare card? I already have one tag on a bag, but would love to have more for my other bags since I normally use more than 1 bag in a shopping trip. Thanks!

      • tina

you can only use 1 tag

      • Shelly

The actual tags dont matter. You can put one on each bag and use then different times. But you only get credit for one bag tag scan per day per store.

      • MarySC1000

All the bag tags have the same bar code so no reason to have more than one. I have the barcode in my smart phone so I can use any bag I want and they just scan the “bag tag” bar code in my phone.

      • Christine

getting two will help you reach a higher precoupon total whcih will help you use your $5 on $30 easier

    • Kimmy864

Does anyone know if you can use a manufactors and CVS coupon on the Huggies diapers?

      • Malissa8126

I did last week and it worked

      • rjc

        Yep you sure can!

      • PigBetsypen

someone had a sick child on PediaSure. I have 16 and would send them if I had an address. I get coupon sections from people at church.

      • PigBetsypen

someone had a sick child on PediaSure. I have 16 and would send them if I had an address. I get coupon sections from people at church.

    • Thomas

Does anyone know if the Olay and Covergirl coupon works with both ECB deals?

    • TheAnnoyingOne

So the RP that comes out sunday has BO Head and Shoulders Shampoo and GO Head and Shoulders Conditioner free.

I get my adds from the Wednesday paper so I have 400+ of the BOGO coupons. If you want some I am the7cs on ebay.

      • moneysaved4disney

you are like those people on the tlc show……

        • Vgwagoner

      • Andre

CVS limit is one per ExtraCare card

      • Firstbrownie

Did you buy 400+ papers? Wow! I'd love some tips on where to get extra inserts (just two or three….not 400+!).

    • Bbuzard

The light bulb coupon says redeemable ONLY at Wal-Mart…..

      • Susanizanurse

It's a manufacturer coupon so CVS should accept it. I've used it in the past @ a couple different stores other than Walmart w/out any issues.

        • Bbuzard

          good to know, thx =)

    • Blink_11

does CVS accept coupons for the free item when they are BOGO? I wanted to get the Disney vitamins deal, but only if I could use my $1 off coupons for both items.

      • Bamabobbie

        I'm pretty sure they do.

      • Anna in SC

My CVS in SC does… :)

      • Me

My CVS in Decatur, AL won't. I have tried twice.

        • Carolina Coupon Mom

Please contact the customer care number. Just as we (hopefully) are following the coupon policies of each company it is important that each store do so as well. If you have a problem, the customer care number can contact the store (while you are there) to resolve the situation if they are in the wrong.

      • YES!! You can use one MQ coupon PER item even if it is “Free” at checkout! :)

      • tina

my cvs in va wont take them on the free itrem

      • Technically you are paying for the item Blink_11 because you are paying tax. At some places, Publix being one, they split the amount in half on their BOGO deals. You can use 2 coupons for those as well.

      • Ace Roanoke

My CVS will take one on each.

    • afinch

Roc deal is no longer available. Anyone know where there could be another offer?

    • Dtcox1

mylallyou says only at walmart too what a bummer on bulbs

    • Cin

Coke Rewards Website also also has the possibility of getting 10000 points when you enter 12 pack codes!

    • Orcabug

I'm fairly new to the CVS thing. Can someone please explain the Deal Idea for Aveeno? How can you buy 4 products and use 3 coupons that require you to buy 6 total?

      • elizabeth

I could be wrong, but I believe that the B2G1 can be used along with the $3/2 coupon. You buy two of the products, getting the third free, then use the $3 off for the purchase of those two products. The other haircare coupon covers the hair product. HTH

        • onehotfrftr

help: i think i'm overthinking things…the b2g1 works on the 3rd item, which means that you can still use the $3/2 coupon on the 1st and 2nd item (just like you said, elizabeth), but if i follow jen's “deal idea” and get a 4th aveeno product, i should be able to use another coupon as well, right?

          • I had this same problem with a b2g1 bag of m&m's this week at cvs. The cashier refused to scan the coupons. Make sure a cashier who knows coupons is working before you try any b2g1 deals at cvs.

        • Me

I tried use a coupon for my free item at CVS ( had a b1g1 herbal essence coupon) and it would not work. Everyone keeps talking about doing that, but in Decatur, AL, it won't work. I have tried it twice.

        • Orcabug

Ok. I thought that the B2G1 would be the only coupon you could use on those 3 products. I printed 2 B1G1 coupons so I'll just use that.

    • angiej

on the greenbag deal it says limit 2 anyone know if u can scan more than one green bag tag per shopping trip?

      • Lw

i think the limit is once per day:) it still adds up quickly, though.

      • Yes Angiej the limit is one per day no matter how many transactions you do in your shopping trip. So just have them scan it on the first transaction if you do multiple ones.

      • Lj

I was wondering the same thing. Like if I have 3 transactions and 3 bag tags, can I scan a different bag tag for each transaction? I know you can only scan a tag once a day…

      • PigBetsypen

        no, one per day

      • Caroline

It's actually once per day, per store. So if you have to make a trip to another CVS because the first one is out of some items, it will scan at the other store. Not something I make a habit of doing, but happened to discover one day by accident when I really needed something that was on sale.

    • FYI: Just recvd an email from recyclebank with some new offers and there is a $2 off any Aveeno product (except travel and trial size) for 30 pts (print at home) exp 5/14

    • Mcleodsc

Zephyrhill's water coupon is for a different size.

    • Jenni L

Got a $4 off $20 in my email!

      • iheartthecoupons

        Yeah, me too.

    • Qponklink

The all you GE bulb coupon says redeemable only at Walmart.

      • PigBetsypen

there is one in Sundays paper

    • Jen

Tried to post one time, has to be approved by mod, guess because I included the link. So here we go again….

Recycle Bank has $2/1 any Aveeno q. Just printed mine, as usual you can hit back and print second one. However, it printed 2 on each page, giving you a total of 4 $2/1 qs! The q is on sale for 30 pts right now! :)

    • Bcmattern

      I got a $5 off $30 by e-mail today, Central Alabama

    • Mrs. B

Just received a $4 off $20 coupon in my email and so did my husband..check your emails before shopping the new ad and save more!!!

      • Katkoupon

Same here, it's been a loooooooong time!

    • Lisamarieonssi

yay – I have my free aveeno coupon and I've been waiting for it to rotate back around – plus 5 off 30 in the email !!

      • Lisamarieonssi

        it's for a free lotion up to 10.99 !! then the buy2get 1 for my 30 with the 5.00 off 30 email coupon !!

        • iheartthecoupons

Where do I get the free Aveeno q? Signed up on the site but can't find it.

          • Lisamarieonssi

I got mine in the mail about a month ago exp in June so I've just been waiting on an Aveeno deal !

    • Mlee_howell

while checking out today got 3 off 15 on bottom of receipt!!! Thats even better than 4 off 20

      • Sue Mckellar

I got one of those today as well. It was like Christmas all over again because it printed on my first transaction and used it on my 2nd one.

        • Christine

I got 6 of these today! I am becoming an extreme couponer. lol

    • money saver

the GE energy light bulbs from all u states redeemable only at walmart..can i use it al cvs?

      • kelly

i was wondering the same thing, but the coupon starts with a 5 so technically it can be used anywhere, but it does specifically state redeem only at walmart, so I am not going to try it..

      • If it says “Only at Walmart”, then it needs to be used at Walmart. Sorry for the confusion.

    • Connie

I had a $5 off coupon for the Clearcare deal print out at the redbox today. Also got the $5 off of $20 email coupon. Looks like it should be a good week

    • ldy

I am in shock at the deals I got at CVS in Danville, VA today. Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara with a bonus eye liner was on clearance for $2.75 and they had Emerson electric hair trimmers that were reg. priced $9.99 reduced to 99 cents! What a bargain! A nice way to use a few of those $1 Cover Girl coupons that will expire on 4/30.

    • iheartthecoupons

How do I get the B2G1 Aveeno coupon? Can't find it on the site. Thanks for the help. Love my CVS!!!

    • MaysonD

I am surprised to see such few scenarios. I have $10 ECB from last week, and will be getting 58 products this week for less than $20 – tax and all! I have 10 nivea coupons, 15 colgate coupons, 5 B1G1F Reach coupons, 5 $1/1 Reach coupons, etc…This will be an amazing week for those of us who get more than 1 or 2 of each coupon! I talked w/ my friend who is the Asst. Mgr of my local CVS and we won't have a limit on Nivea or any of the 5/$5 deals. Woo hoo!

      • Guest

That's why I always have to get a raincheck.

      • Kurt T.

leave product for the rest of us

      • couponerbynature

please don't be one of those awful shelf-clearers that goes on Saturday, and leaves NOTHING for the rest of us! :) I say this is a spirit of pleading, not accusation! — Have fun with all your ECBs!

        • MaysonD

Our store actually doesn't run out often at all. Except when the Oral B power toothbrushes were free – I had to get a raincheck then! I don't go the minute the sale starts, and believe me, I'm not the “big” couponer in our town! Everyone seems to be buying in bulk! Our store is great about having extra cases of everything on the sale in the back when the weekly truck comes on Tuesdays, so you're pretty much guaranteed to get your deals. Maybe y'all can talk to the store mgrs. and see if they'd consider ordering extra? If we let our store mgr know on Wednesday or Thursday we'll be buying a lot of something, she makes sure she orders a lot extra!

          • LindaB

My store Plant City, FL, is great about having all the sale items. I have only had a couple of instances where they didn't get things from the warehouse in a timely fashion but the manager, Tom Butler, (kuddo's) is fantastic and knows how to order correctly!

      • Hael80

Nivea is $3.00 at my Walmart, making it free with coupon….

    • laura

Is $2.99 for the Act Mouth Rinse and possibly $1.99 for the Dry Mouth a good deal or should I wait for something better?

      • Crafty_cat_86

You can get mouthwash for free. This week Listerine is free after q's. I don't know if you're brand loyal on ACT, if it's a good price, though.

        • laura

I am only for the enamel benefits …Listerine doesn't have anything like ACT does…

    • Guest

anybody know a good coupon clipping website? do you have to buy a bunch of ones you don't need or just ones you do.

      • Jennybell323

Try thecouponclippers.com. I think you have to spend a minimum of $3.00 to order.

      • Christina-nicksmom

This website. Duh!! Upper right hand corner- Coupon Data base.
You can type in the brand and/or product.

        • Erin

I think she means a site where you purchase clipped coupons from the inserts. I've heard of people using ebay also coupons and things by Dede.

        • Hensnestie

          How rude.

        • Guest

Before being so rude, maybe should have actually taken the time to read her post? DUH??

      • stephc23

I go to thecouponmaster.com. I like their selection and you pick what you want (minimum of three each item) and alert you when a coupon you want becomes available.

      • If you are looking to order coupon inserts from the Sunday paper, you could try wholecouponinserts.com or thecouponclipper.com.

        • MaysonD

I use manufacturerscoupons.net. They are cheaper than everything else I’ve found, and there’s only a $2 minimum order. She ships very fast, too! I order my weekly coupons on Wednesday after the sales ads come out and I have them on Saturday to shop on Sunday.

      • Julie

I like Coupon Beat because there is no minimum order with .50 shipping, and most whole uncut inserts are free shipping

    • Chickie1971

If you could not get your coupon to print on Facebook click the unlike button to the left and then it like again and go to the coupon tab to the left. It worked for me. Hope it works for you!!

      • laura

What coupon are you talking about?

    • Wilto

      Check your email everyone!
I have a $4 off when you spend $20 at CVS ending this Sunday!

    • rw5524

I was super happy with the deal I got at CVS yesterday.

      4- Airwick Freshmatic Ultra Starter Kits @ $6 ea. = $24

      – $4 off $20 cvs coupon
      – (4) $4 off Airwick Freshmatic Ultra Starter Kits manufacturer q's

      = $4 for ALL 4

      Got back $10 in ECB

They paid me $6 to buy these things yesterday!

      • ChrissyPunkin

You are lucky! I really wanted to do this deal, but I tried three different stores and only one of them had *any* of the Airwick. I finally got it done piece by piece and bought Lysol instead, but I couldn't use the $4 off $20.

    • Donna

How can you stock up on something, if the deal limit is one. For instance Edge shave gel, there's a stock up icon by it, but then the limit is 1.

      • Maryljames31

The acorn just means great deal buy it.

      • Although the limit is one, it is still a good price to buy it at $1.

      • Proudlyamom

the limit is for the deal with ECB

    • Can someone tell me why the Pantene deal doesn't have an acorn next to it? It seems that has more of a percentage savings than some of the items that have an acorn. (new to this) – Thanks!

      • Just to clarify – I'm talking about the Head & shoulders/Pantene expression item

        • It's probably because it's been cheaper before.

        • Sandy

Probably just an oversight! It's a good deal for sure!

    • Rackspur

The limit on the lysol is one this week, does that mean one for the entire week or one per day? I got it earlier then came home and found I had a bunch of coupons i could have used for it.

      • Sandy

Entire week. It's one limit per Extra Care card

      • Prsol

Only once deal per week. :-(

I also had a bunch of coupons for AirWick. Since they will expire soon and I can't repeat the deal, I gave them to my co-worker and took her to CVS to roll her ECBs for the first time ever! :) She was thrilled to get Claritin at only $3.00 after she rolled back her $10ECB and applied a $7.00 coupon on her overpriced allergy pills. ;-)

    • Lisa

Im going to do CVS for my first time this week! I did rite aid and walgreens the last few weeks but this looks worth trying! I hope it's easy

      • DebTN

CVS is very easy. Have fun!

        • J-FL

It would be easy, but there is only one CVS where I live, so I guess I will be there when it opens at 8. I wish they kept more stock!

    • Candice

I want to make sure a senario would work before I use it. The coupons expire at the end of the month. I have 3 coupons, B1G1 gillette bodywash, B1 deodorant G1 body wash free, and $1 off the deodorant.
      Buy 2 bodywash
      Buy 1 deodorant
      Use all 3 coupons
Pay for just the deodorant minus the $1 coupon.

Shouldn't this work? By the way they are P&G coupons that say limit 4 like coupons.

      • DebTN

I think you'll need to get another body wash that you'll pay for:

Buy one deo, get 1 body wash free (use $1 coupon on the deo)
Buy 1 body wash, get one free

      • Coupons

You will need one more body wash…

    • KJ

I'm trying to figure out if this is the correct: your total minus the coupons must be equal to the original total of the product to qualify for the ECB? Like if I buy 2 items at $10.00 each and have $3 in coupons- I need to buy $3 in something else to make up for it? Or am I going crazy? I'm fairly sure Walgreens is the same way? Help!?

      • DebTN

No, it's before coupons. Like in the Covergirl deal above – look at Jenny's deal idea. You would take 3 eyeshadows to the checkout that total $10.47. Then the clerk scans the coupons which takes your out-of- pocket total down to $6.97. Then you get your $3 ECB which makes it like you got the 3 eyeshadows for $1.33 each.

      • Lauren

Your ECB is based on your total BEFORE your coupons. So if you have to buy $10 to get $3 in ECBs and you have 2 $2 coupons, you will actually be spending $6 and receive your $3 in ECBs. Final cost is $3!!

      • Lillwatermelon

You can use all the coupons you want on extra buck items, the total before coupons is all you need. Last week I purchased 4 airwick items, used my coupons and still recieved my 10 dollar extra bucks. Hope this helps…

    • Kookycouponlady

I cant get the registration for recyclebank to work at all.

      • Lillwatermelon

        Must be a problem, I can't either…

    • Bbdy321

if a coupon expires 4/16 can i use it on that day or is it not good?

      • DebTN

It's good until midnight the day it expires. I have a few expiring today so I'm heading out to use them.

    • Lovemesomecoupons

Ok new to the coupons and have a dumb question lol. When you have a coupon that is more off of the product than what the product actually cost like $1.00 off something that only cost .88cent and people say it will be free plus profit you dont actually get the profit right? Or am I totally lost?? Thanks

      • Ladysocten

You will not get the money back, but the money is used towards another item. You will have to buy the item that is free with another item and the 12 cent difference will go towards that item. Hope that helps.

      • Sdavisva

My experince is that most drug stores (and Walmart, according to thier new coupon policy) will deduct the full $1.00. So you will get the profit but it will be applied towards your other items. However, some grocery stores as well as Target (in my area of VA) will automatically reduce the coupon discount to match the price of the items. It's not a hard and fast rule as far as I can tell. HTH!

      • rxmjg

Last week, at CVS, I bought an item that was $0.97 and had a $1.00 off coupon. The register prompted the employee to reduce the coupon amount to $0.97 which he did. So, I guess it must vary from one CVS to another.

    • Momof2

The Coke deal is posted wrong! The deal is 3/$11 which is $3.66 per 12 pack. Get a $2 ecb wyb 3 which then brings it down to $3 per 12 pack. Not a good deal!

      • cs

it seems like it is different for different regions. Here its pepsi and its like 4/10 at the end after ecb

        • Amy

My ad also has Pepsi (4/$13 with $3 ECBs) – NOT COKES! I found that out after checking out with 3 Cokes… oops! :-) Luckily, I had a great CVS cashier who happily did the return for me!

      • gery220

My add has the COKE @ 4/$13 and get $3 ECB…

    • Hael80

FYI, my walmart here in Central IL had Nivea body wash for $3.00 regular price… with the coupons they are free.

    • shaz

does cvs take exp coupons that just exp that week?

      • Lidumilka

no cvs doesnt take expired coupons

        • Tishness1509

depends on what cvs you go to and how nice the casher is i know i take cvs ecb's up to a week passed cause we still get our money back for them! so like i said it depends on the store and if the casher is wiling to take them you can always try there is nothing wrong with that!

      • Crafty_cat_86

ymmv: mine has done it for me. don't count on it, but definitely ask!

      • Tnjcent

The CVS where my parents live in Rockledge FL take expired EBR's and CVS expired coupons. My CVS here in Murfreesboro, Tn will NOT take them. Always ask the store what their policy is. I'm always so excited to shop at my parents local CVS and yes…I save all my exp. CVS printed coupons and EBR's.

    • Coupongal18

I tried something new tonight – I had never gone the day before the ad starts typically on Sunday except to get one thing ….I tried my entire week's shopping trip tonight and it worked for the most part!!! But, since no signs were up and the ad wasn't put out yet, I REALLY had to know what I was getting and for what price so I don't know if I will do it again – but we shall see!!!!

      Here's what I got:
      (3) Aveeno Body Washes
      (1) Aveeno Shampoo
      (1) John Frieda shampoo
      (1) John Frieda conditioner
      (1) Edge Shaving Gel
      (1) Easter Egg Dying Kit
      (1) Gummy Bears (my husband's wish – lol)

      Total before coupons/EBCs – $48.98
      After coupons/ECB -$13.94
      ECB's earned – $15.00

I realized once I got home that my ECB for the Easter Egg kit didn't print so I'm debating on whether or not I want to go by tomorrow after church to get it – I've already pulled the other ECBs off…….

I didn't get the toothpaste because they were out and wasn't sure with the coupon because the kind for $1 wasn't listed on the coupon, didn't get the easter grass because they were out and forgot to get the two green bag tags…so, I guess I will go back in the morning and grab those to get a few more ECBs!!!

But, overall, pretty good trip – just don't like not having the signs!! LOL!!!!

      • Coupongal18

And, I just realized I didn't get my $2.30 ECB for the shave gel because I picked up the wrong one …so, I will be making a trip tomorrow to get the rest of my Easter stuff for my son's basket and to return/exchange the shaving gel and get my ECB for the egg dying kit!!!!!

        But again, good trip!!!!!

        • Rtate26695

My cashier told me today that, although the rest of the sale begins tonight, the three day sale items will not start until tomorrow. This explains why I didn't get the ecb last Saturday from the Russell Stover. Good info to have!!

        • Johnjames

I was told the egg dying kit ECB would only print on the “special days” sale. it isn't included in the early bird (sat for sunday sale) purchases. let me know if you get it, they told me no.

      • EB

I have been told at my CVS that, while Sunday's weekly sale will start on Saturday afternoon, the things that are on sale only a few days (like the egg kit) are only valid on those particular days – that is probably why you did not get the ECB for the egg kit on Saturday – the sale is only Sunday to Tuesday.

    • Rachel

I would think the answer is no but just to be sure…can I get Extra Bucks on items that I used my current Extra Bucks certificate to purchase?

      • Crafty_cat_86

yes. You can use ECBs just like cash (except to buy giftcards, alcohol, and sometimes milk).

        • Rachel

          Awesome, thanks!

      • MareM01

Yes! CVS treats Extra Bucks like cash. That is the fun part of keeping it going from week to week! :)

    • Couponing Rocks!

Just got back from my second week of going on Saturday night to get the Sunday deals and had no problem at all. Like coupongal18 says below, you really need to know what your plan is since there are no signs up yet. Anyways, here's what I did…

      2 Aveeno Bodywash 6.49 each = 12.98
      1 Aveeno Lotion = 6.49
      1 Aveeno Conditioner = 6.49
      1 Green Bag Tag = .99
      1 Edge Shave Gel = 3.29
      Total before coupons & tax = 30.24
      Used 5 off 30 (5.00)
      3 – 2.00 off Aveeno (6.00)
1 – B2G1F (7.29) Looking at my receipt the cashier took off the original price of the bodywash not the sale price. Is this normal? My mom had the same thing with a B1G1 Free coupon last week at a completely different CVS in another city.
      Shave Gel coupon (.55)
      ECB's from prior week (11.74)
      Total due before tax (.34)
      Tax 2.33
      Total OOP 1.99

      Received 13.29 in ECB (10, .99, 2.30)

      Net Cost:
      ECB's used 11.74
      Total OOP 1.99
      Total Cost 13.73
      Less: ECB's Received (13.29)
      Net Cost = .44

I didn't realize until I got home that she took off the higher amount for the B2G1 free coupon. This threw my scenario off slightly and the ECB's I had calculated to use made my total negative. I didn't know your total could go negative and come off the tax, but it did. If it hadn't, I would have only lost .34 so that would have been ok. In the end, I'm pleased to get some expensive Aveeno products for practically free!

      • Coupongal18

I know, right? I LOVE AVEENO and only buy it when it goes on sale so I definitely stock up on it :)

    • Crafty_cat_86

FYI: the H&S B1G1 (RP 4/17) coupon is max. value $5.74. Still a great deal, but you're gonna pay $0.25 for it, so don't let it trip you up.

    • guest

My CVS takes coupons & ECB for 2 weeks after they expire…all around I have the greatest CVS…they are great!!

      • That's great! Mine was close to not taking my ECB one day after expiration!

    • guest

Could someone tell how the recycle bank works for printable coupons…thanks!

      • Stacey

I would like to know too. It says when you print it that it is one per household. I don't understand how you can get 3 Aveeno coupons from Recyclebank……?

    • camsnana

What is the extracare balance for spring spending? Im new to shopping at cvs and was wandering if this amount is on your card is used like a coupon or just the amount that you have saved using the card.

      • ireneY

at the end of each quarter, you'll get 1% of your spending back in ecbs.

        • Brooke

The spring spending ECB will print at the register the next time you make a purchase or I think it might also print at the coupon machine if you scan your card.

    • Rachel

Ok… i don't understand the aveeno deal. If you buy 4 items and use the Buy 2 get one free coupon doesn't that count as a manufacturers coupon for all 3? or does it just count on the one you get for free? So confused.

      • Fcaj1994

It only counts for the one you get free

      • couponingmom

usually it will only count on the one. one coupon per product so to me you can still use three other coupons.

    • Leeanneowens

I just found out last week that my CVS takes Walgreen coupons. Is this something new or have they always done this?

      • ChrissyPunkin

It depends on the store. I live in Montgomery, and some take them and some don't. The ones that do also take Rite Aid coupons.

    • Stacey

The Softsoap coupon link is wrong… It takes you to Colgate's website.

    • christy

hello can I use ecb that I got for proctor & gamble toilet paper and buy proctor & gamble with ecb and get ecb as long as it's not same item ???

      • cs

you can use ecb's on anything. it is not like walgreens where you can't use them on the item you got it from

        • christy

so I will get more ecb even though it's p&g

          • Syndilew

          • Dsci2003

    • Brooke

Why would you want multiple green bag tags? I thought only one green bag tag could be tied to a CVS card…just wondering why the limit is 2 on the ECB deal?

      • Syndilew

GBTs are not tied to a card. You can use them on multiple bags. Like if you keep one at home or one spare one in the car. They are independent of your card. HTH

        • Brooke

So if I do 2 transactions in a day, is it beneficial to have 2 GBTs? Could I use one GBT with each transaction and get to the dollar ECB reward faster?

          • Elizabeth M.

            Wondering that too!

          • tina

no it only lets you once a day the green tag has the same code on them so even if its different tag you cant scan it more then once a day

    • Susan

What is a “green tag bag” and where do you get it?

      • Suzanne

usually at the front counter. It looks like a leaf, you use it each time you shop with your own bag and they will give you 1 ECB for every 4th time, (you can only use it 1 time per day.) In the last year I have received 20 ECB's…one at a time. The idea is that you will put it on your re useable bag and they will scan it each day you make a purchase. I put mine on the key ring with my CVS card. You are going “green” by using your own bag,,,or not one of theirs…sometimes I just carry my stuff out in my hands if it isn't much. Well worth the .99 especially if you get it back in ECB. The leaf (as we call it) is electronically attached to your CVS card and cannot be used on more than 1 CVS card.

        • Tishness1509

one leaf can be attached to many different cvs cars it goes by the cvs card number not the green bag tag number you can use one leaf with 3 different cards if you r trying to get ecb:s on items that have a limit of only 1

          • Prsol

3 different CVS cards to get more than one deal on the “Limit 1” offers?
I thought you could only have 1 card per household… No wonder why the shelves are empty!

Buy setting a limit on the number of times you may get an offer, the store assures that there will be plenty of merchandise for the rest of us, mere mortals, that only have one card.

I understand if you are shopping for another person, hence the need of a second card or third card. But those who get several sets of cards just to get a thousand toothbrushes in one trip are just *taking advantage* of the system (and probably are more organized than I am… My ECBs would be a huge mess if I had to handle more than one account!… :-P)

          • U can only use the Green tag Once per day

    • Susan

What is a green tag bag and where do you get it?

      • gunnersmom

green tag is a tag you purchase at the register. it's shaped like a leaf. the idea behind it is that you either purchase a recycle bag or have one of your own, place the tag around the straps and use it when you come to the store. every visit at the store you receive a scan on your green tag, it pays you $.25 for every visit to cvs however you don't collect until your 4th visit, in which you gain $1.00 ecb. it's worth it if you shop at cvs as much as i do, every little bit helps.

    • ES

As usual, coupons don't match up in Chattanooga…eg edge shave gel SS 3/20-doesn't exist

      • Guest

        same problem here.

    • Rob

      Nope…Scotts P/T 4/3 doesn't exist

    • Maggie

Does anyone know if a coupon prints from the RED BOX…can a person with diffrent cvs card use it

      • Kelley

No it is coded for the specific card.

      • Prsol

Compare the CVS card # that generated the coupon with the CVS card # of your friend. If they match, he/she can use it as it is just a duplicate of the original set (when you first get the cards and you out one in your key holder, and give the other one to another person.)

If the number is different, then the coupon will NOT work.
Coupons from the “Magic Red Box” are associated with the unique account # printed on your CVS card.

The CVS Green Tag Bag (green leaf card = FREE this week after ECBs) can be used with any account, once a day (and it will generate $1 ECB on your 4th visit).

    • 2BMD2013

Does anyone know if the ITUNES gift card has any associated activation fees? We just bought two IPODs. I can get really excited if I can buy a $25 gift card and really get $5 ECB with no activation fee.

      • Maggie

I know there is a 5$ fee to update old software …we just did that but I dont think we ever payed activation fees

      • Sarah

Itunes gift cards don't have activation fees.

    • Sherrymulcahy

do you have to do each ecb item separately? or can buy all at once. thanks sherry

      • Meghan

You can do them all together.

      • Prsol

You can buy them all at once, however, dividing your purchase in separate transactions allows you to reduce the Out Of Pocket (oop) final cost, as you roll some ECBs to cover the following transaction.

On the other hand, if you only do one single transaction, you may pay full have to invest more money, but you would have a bunch of ECBs for next week, and then you would make sure that you continue rolling them over.

      • Pferh

use them all at one time

    • Sadie Manning

I didn't get the CVS insert in my Birmingham News! :(
Did anyone else have that problem?

      • cs

I know in one paper here in Rock hill sc we don't get the rite aid ad in the sunday paper it comes in the wed one. But the other paper we have it comes in the sunday one.

the aveeno deal wont work for me as the shampoos/conditioners/stylers are not $6.49 as stated in this “deal” but only $6.. i would be short only $1 and not be able to get the ecb.. anyone else notice this? the paper, at least the ads I am finding have the aveeno stylers and such on sale for just $6..

    • In the Triad, NC area it is PEPSI on sale- NOT coke.

      • Megan

Same in Greenville….so disappointed. This GA girl was going to stock up for an upcoming birthday party….heading to GA tomorrow so may be able to snag this deal there though. If not, I think target has them at a decent price this week.

      • Rosie

        Same in Fayetteville

I have a coupon for $1 off any 2 Orbit gum packs. Can I use that with the b1g1 free deal this week?

      • Pferh

        yes i did today

    • Christina

Okay so I have signed up for recycle bank to get the coupons for the Aveeno and it has yet to send me my confirmation email. I even made sure I put recycle bank into my contact list. Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Bballchic131313

Yes, I signed up over 3 hours ago and still have not received confirmation email. I even click to have them resend it to me twice. Glad I'm not the only one. I went ahead to CVS and got all my other stuff. Hoping I get the email later today, because I have a $5 off $30 that expires today that I want to use towards the Aveeno stuff.

      • Melissa

I did the same and have yet to get my coupon as well.

      • Happy Feet

what is recycle bank and where do you apply?

    • Judy

Did anyone get coupons for the Revlon Colorsilk hair color? Says coupons in Sunday's paper, I dont see one. Thanks

      • Slgumm

I got one out of the Knoxville News Sentinel. $1/2 Revlon Colorsilk hair color.

    • DB

Has anyone checked to see if the Aquafresh Extreme Clean is on sale for $1? It's the only toothpaste my husband will use :P

    • marykait turner

Did anyone else not recieve the reach toothbrush coupons or the nivea body wash coupon in todays paper?

      • I usually buy 2 papers. Pittsburgh Post and Altoona Mirror. One is my local paper and the other isn't, of course both from PA. The Pittsburgh one which cost more and is from the city didn't have it, the smaller town one did. This has happened on more than one occasion. Although sometimes the big city one has higher value coupons.

    • My shaving cream coupon wouldn't go threw.. the Skintimate one did the same thing. They just gave me the .55 cents it was worth.

      • Heather

Same here as well. The Edge coupon wouldn't go through no matter how the guy tried it. Wouldn't even allow him to give me a credit for that amount either. But I didn't get the .55 in change. But that's ok.

    • Chipandleighanne

I did not get the nivea body wash coupon or the reach toothbrush either and I bought 2 papers today! I am so sad can't find them online anywhere!

      • laura

        redplum has them!!

        • Katherine

I have the Red Plum ad but no coupon. :( I've looked a ton of times!

    • Heather

Did not get the $3 Nivea body wash coupon in Jax, Fl. We got a $2 and $1 on lotion I think.

      • Lindaschulz1

Same with Me, I am in Jacksonville too

    • Hello couponers, I've got a quick question for you. At CVS today I had a coupon for $2 off Head & Shoulders shampoo. I also had a coupon for a FREE conditioner wyb the shampoo. I was told I couldn't use both coupons because they were both ManuQ's and since the B1G1 attached to both items the other Q couldn't be used. I'm pretty sure that's not how it works…but being somewhat new, I only questioned her for a moment, then gave in. Who's right?

      • Heather

You can use both. I did it today myself. The B1G1 is for the free item and the $2 one is for the one you are paying for. I handed them the $2 coupon first, then the B1G1 and had zero issues.

Either there is a typo or its different in FL. My CVS ad has 4-12 packs for $13 with $3ECB

      • Jjcpooh

My CVS in Northport, Al. was the same – 4 12 packs for $3

      • Ashley

I'm in TN and my ad also says 4-12 packs Pepsi Products for $13 with $3ECB.

        • Shanti Pena

Same here. we have the pepsi on sale and i am in midwest, TN

      • My CVS has Pepsi on sale, not cokes :(

        • Jennilind44

No cokes on sale at my CVS in Huntsville either. I was really looking forward to that deal too. :(

          • shaz

FYI – I had a $1 off an 2 packs of Orbit in one of my SS books. The Orbit was $1.29 at my CVS, so with the B1G1 deal and my coupon, I only paid $.29 plus tax for two.

      • paravel43

me too. not sure why she doesn't have that coupon listed. great deal!

    • Monica

So disappointed! Was going to get some Caress today and my paper didn't even have the $3 coupon for women. It only had the mens. Please email me and let me know you are from Southernsavers if you got a $3 Caress coupon and you aren't going to use it! I would love to trade if you would like something else.

There was a coupon for ban deodorant in my paper this weekend. The Washington Post. I'm in Chantilly (Northern) Virginia.

    • Slsiener

Is the green bag regional? I just bought one for $1.99 and didn't receive any ecb? I don't see it in the sale paper either. I'm in central Alabama.

      • DebTN

It's the “green bag tag” that gets the ECB this week. You can probably retun the bag and get the tag. Further down in this thread are more posts about the tag.

        • Slsiener

Ohhh…..I see. Thank you so much for responding.

    • Khjbcoupons

just used my rain check to get crest toothpaste.. after over a month…the reg price on the rain check was 4.49, sale price 3.49 and i had a 2.00 off k. the cashier was having trouble getting the register to take the info on the rain check.. long story short.. the regular price now is 3.29 which is .20 less than the sale price a month ago. still got a good deal because of the 2.00 k. so much for the theory that couponers are running the manufactures out of business…

      • Prsol

I have a silly question: If you get a Rain Check at CVS for an item that had ECBs on it, will they give you those CVS a month later?

I'm fairly new to couponing and shopping at pharmacies and had a bad experience at RiteAid a few days ago. The manager got very upset about my questions on their Up+ rewards, use of coupons and also the fact that my rain check was hand written! (I was informed by this woman that RiteAid now prints Rain Checks off the register.) At the end I still got a decent deal but she gave me such grief. Even the cashier was trying to make her understand that I wasn't trying to take advantage of them, just learning!

Anyways, just curious on what would happen if I were to do that at CVS. :-)

        • JessicaJ

Yes, the ECBs will still print. Rain checks do not expire! The only problem you will run in to is that sometimes your coupons will expire before your CVS gets product in!

          • Hjemerson2

When did they start that a few months back I was told by head q if the item was out they give a rain check but it would be only for the sale price and I could use a q if not expired but the EBC would not show up. < I love to know if this is wrong , Thanks

            • mamabelbel

I just used a rain check for the first time last week and got ECBs. I saw they didn't print out and asked about it. They cashier was awesome and apologized. He entered a code or something from the ad that I had kept with the raincheck since I saw the person who wrote the raincheck hadn't filled out the ECB info on the raincheck form. Anway, the ECB printed out. I don't know what he did, but he did it quickly and easily without a manager so apparantly it is not a big deal to get your ECBs.

          • Nccouponmom

My CVS told me and they have honored their word, that if my q expires before they get the item in for my raincheck, they will still honor the q because it wasn't my fault they couldn't get the item in. And they have always printed the ECBs on the raincheck. Very thankful for that!!

    • Melissa

Just a head's up–in New Orleans LA Area the Smart Source does not have the Listerine Reach coupon as mentioned above.

    • Heather

In Jax, Fl. SS today, we got a $1 off any GE Energy Smart, GE Reveal, or GE halogen product. Exp 06/11/11

If anyone in Columbia SC goes into CVS today, please let me know if your CVS has the LIpton DECaffeinated tea bags on the shelf. I live in St. Matthews and I want to make sure they have an adequate amount on the shelf before I drive the 30 plus miles. Thanks ahead of time for anyone willing to look and post for me.

    • Mrs. B

The light bulb coupon in All you says only redeemable at Walmart. Does anyone know if CVS will take it?

      • Bev B

If it's a manufacturer coupon (bar code starting with 5 or 9) CVS should take it just fine.

        • JessicaJ

You still have to follow the instructions on the coupon. Just because the barcode will scan doesn't mean that CVS will get reimbursed for it. Just because you can use a coupon does not mean you should. In this case, if it says redeemable ONLY at Walmart, then you should ONLY use it at Walmart.

      • The fine print says Redeem ONLY at Walmart. I chose not to even try to use it. Since it says for Walmart only most likely if CVS tries to redeem it it will NOT be reimbursed. In my opinion it would be dishonest to try and use it there knowing the manufacturer only wants it used at Walmart. NOW Walmart price matches, so you can take the coupon there and get the sale price (minus the ECB).

    • Bev B

      Two Q'a to note:
I had a CVS coupon print today for $5 off the Clear Care twin pack. Combined with the $3 coupon makes for a killer deal on Clear Care ($2 per bottle).

I also found a Manufacturer tear-pad in the Coke section for .25 off a 2-liter bottle of Coke. (This was in the Mallard Creek Rd CVS in North Charlotte).

[Forgive me if this is a duplicate–with 237 comments and counting, I haven't reviewed them all!]

      • paravel43

I'm in Eastern NC and the coupons here stink. I subscribe to the Raleigh News & Observer and their coupon inserts are huge! Yes, there were lots of Listerine coupons in today's SS. I had 2 SS and 2 RP today.

        • shaz

how do you get the charlotte obsever cheap? i cannot seem to.Please help me.

      Paid $1.54 for $32.71 of stuff – 95% savings!!!!!

    • ckrcoupons

I have the Red Plum and Smart Source inserts for this week…there are no Listerine, Nivea, or Reach coupons? The CVS shopping list says there should be though. Is there a reason why I can't find them?

      • Prsol

It depends of the area where you live, and how “big” your newspaper is.
I live in the Atlanta area and usually get pretty decent inserts from the AJC, but whenever I get my hands in the Marietta Journal's inserts (a smaller paper) the difference is huge!

Would it be possible for you to buy a different paper?
Perhaps order coupons in advance if you know there's a good deal coming?
Or maybe just sticking to printable coupons?

        • ckrcoupons

So are the Smart Source and Red Plum inserts different for different areas? I have them, just can't find the coupons that the CVS shopping list says are in them….for instance, it says there is a coupon in SS 4/17 for Listerine mouthwash, and I have looked front to back and can't find it. I get the Sun News which is the largest newspaper for the Horry County area and Myrtle Beach.

          • JessicaJ

Yes, there are regional differences between newspapers. The bigger the paper, the more coupons (and higher value) you get.

            • Prsol

That's right! I had forgotten about the difference in the value too!
I guess the smaller the paper, the cheaper the fees for inserting an ad.
And maybe there's also a different charge for the manufacturer depending on the value of their coupon. Who knows! I'm just thankful for this forum and all the wonderful people that share tips and coupon victories with the rest, especially Jenny! :-) :-)

          • JTS

And CVS just says that certain coupons are in “most” sunday newspapers. I didn't get any of the nivea coupons either. Major bummer!

            • sarahm

The Nivea coupons were also printables from Red Plum earlier this morning but they're gone now.

          • sarahm

I think it was in the Post and Courier this morning (it usually has almost the exact same coupons as my paper – I sometimes pick up a paper there if I'm there visiting). Could you find a Barnes and Noble or Publix and look there? I've found other regional papers at Publix, gas stations and B&N.

        • Khjbcoupons

what day do you get the marietta journal… does the marietta paper have good coupons..

        • Khjbcoupons

what day do you get the marietta journal… does the marietta paper have good coupons..

          • Prsol

I think the Marietta Journal is a daily publication. I get my inserts from a co-worker who doesn't coupon. Usually they have 2/3 (or less) of the regular coupons found in the AJC. Something really funny about those inserts is that they would have the ad for a product, but not the coupon!!!! Hello???? LOL … Then, when I look in the AJC inserts, I find the ad AND the coupon and all is good with the world again. ;-)

I only do Marietta Journal because it's free. I wouldn't buy it based on the selection of coupons that it offers though.

      • Laura R

My Atlanta paper had the coupons, but the inserts from the smaller newspaper I buy did not have them!

      • guest

my paper had all 4 inserts but no listerine, nivea, or reach either! so disappointed as my paper is a “big city” paper. =(

    • Pmortonfamily

just left cvs!!!!!!!!!!!! very angry, was in a nut shell accused of stealing! man told me I could not look though the paper to make sure coupons were in there. I explained that if I am buying multiple papers i am going to make sure they have coupons in them. He did this is front of at least 10 people. I finished getting my 3 papers was going to shop but was so mad, went to counter and ask to speak with manger guess what he was the manger. I told him to check my papers and make sure they had only 4 inserts in each he refused,he said he was sorry and then added I quess your going to call corp. you bet I am.I was totally humilited

      • Couponing Rocks!

That's terrible. I always look to make sure my coupons are there (usually buy at Walgreens). One week I needed to use a coupon in the paper & told the girl & asked her if she wanted me to buy it first or could I ring it up with everything else. They had no problem with me pulling out the coupons & using them & then buying the paper.

        • Wilto

          That is absolutely terrible!
I feel so lucky that I know the manager at my CVS and he makes a point of always ringing up my order every Sunday as he loves to see the savings that I get!!!!

      • Anonymous

Definitely call corp on that manager. Like other posters my store manager gets excited to see my deals. If he is not on a register he will usually ask how I did before I get out the door. If you have the option maybe it is time to pick another store in town.

    • Ladymick253

Which SS is the Orbit gum in?

    • sunset

Went into a Cleveland CVS at about 11am and they didn't have any Colgate toothpaste for $1 or any of the Reach Total Care Toothbrush for $1 & it wasn't in today's ad. Either regional or didn't have it marked yet?

      • Shanti Pena

my cvs was totally out of stock late Saturday night for that too. They told me another lady comes in on Saturdays and usually buys everything out that is good on the sale list cuz thats the day both ads are in force. So, i have to wait until wednesday when the next truck comes in. urgh…

    • JTS

CVS doesn't put in an insert in the newspaper in my area any more. I love Jenny's lists, but sometimes I find something else/ figure out my own deals and it is a little easier with the ad in front of me. ANybody else noticing this?

      • Crafty_cat_86

Yes! I think I just really like looking at the pictures! ;)

        • Mamaberry

you can view the ad online at cvs dot com. They have the ad for your region and you can flip through it. hth!!

      • Mamaberry

you can view the ad online at cvs dot com. They have the ad for your region and you can flip through it. hth!!

    • NorthALCouponer

Sad with CVS today. Wanted to get the Aveeno deal but they didn't have the Nourishing Lotion in stock and I didn't want to use the B2G1 on a different type of lotion since it specifically says the Nourishing Lotion or Body Wash. Oh well.

    • Couponcutter1

Question – Are the SS coupon booklets different in different areas? I can't find SEVERAL coupons that are listed in the “best deals” for CVS this week?… but then SOME of them I can find!

      • Coupontcutter1

OOPS!! just read the other comments today and see that a lot of other had my same problems! I guess I need to find a bigger paper in my area!

    • guest

Evans, GA CVS coke deal is different than above. You have to buy 4 12packs at 3.25 each (total of $13) to get the $3 ECB.

    • Donna091960

Would anyone have any Purex Crystal coupons they don't want or would trade for?

      • Bev B

Donna, I've got two that expire 4/30 that I won't be using–I tried the crystals and my husband hates the smell, making me promise not to use it anymore. :-) So I doubt I'll be buying any more. You can e-mail me your mailing address. My e-mail is: beverlyburrell@gmail.com

      • Shanti Pena

same here…i bought 2 blue and 2 purple and tried both..we itched like crazy..i have 2 if you want…would love to trade, just email me at Shanti.pena@yahoo.com..pls put in the comment that u want to trade Purex crystals, or it will auto go to my spam folder. thanks

    • Amber

I'm in metro Atlanta (Suwanee) and saw that the colgate was not $1, nor was in in the ad listed as $1. Has anyone else around here tried to get that one?

      • ireneY

The regular red boxes are 5/$5, so the $1 from 4/10SS aren't a match.

    • Happy Feet

My favoritie cashier told me today each region gets to choose its own milk brand… Mine was Mayfield…. am I blessed or What! I will go back the end of the week and get my second one!!!!!!! :o)

    • CalicoKitty2000

I wasn't able to use the Edge coupon… :( I didn't press it though because the manager price adjusted the Reach toothbrushes for me. For some reason, the only Reach Total Care toothbrushes came up $4.69, but they offered to adjust them down to $1.

I don't understand why the Edge coupon didn't work… The coupon said any Edge product, date was good. Weird. The cashier actually spun the screen around and showed me that it wouldn't even let her override the coupon. Lol! Anyone have any ideas why it didn't work?

      • Kan2002

happened to me too so i noticed they had 2 different kinds and i tried the other and the coupon worked. weird cause coupons said ANY.

      • ireneY

worked on the green moisturizing can!

      • Roperrlr

This happened to me too. I needed the manager for something else so I asked about that and he said they have been having trouble. He took my coupon and gave me the $.55 as change.

    • Elizabeth M.

Where on the Aveeno website is the B2G1 free coupon?

      • Melissa

Click the printable link above and it says get coupon at bottom. I just printed my 2nd one for today.

    • Kan2002

there was a GE energy smart $1 off mfc in the paper today! makes it a free!

      • Mendy

the GE coupon wasn't in my coupon inserts from today's paper. I did find a $1 off coupon in the April All You magazine though but it says it's “redeemable only at Walmart”….. Does anyone know if CVS will accept this coupon?

        • Sillysnicks

It is a manufacturers coupon. I used it with no problems.

    • Bh

      3 transactions got 2 gal milk ,2 ge bulb (2 1.00 manu),4 mars egg .88 each(2/2 mars manu),paas egg kit, 7.75 OOP
Hate CVS-prices not marked/trying to keep up w/rewards
Do the limits mean per transaction or per rewards card for the whole week?

      • Lidumilka

        its for the whole week…

    • Hueytownm

I am confused about When you are shopping at CVS..and you are buying a product that gives you ECB's when you purchase a certain $ amount of product..and you are using a mfg coupon..Will you still get the ECB is your coupon takes you below that $ amount?

      • cs

yes its the price before coupons

    • Nan

I have several CVS coupon inserts if you live in the Covington, GA area and want to pick them up or send me postage and I can mail them. Email me @ princessnan3000@att.net

    • Jenny

How does the Aveeno coupon scenario work? Is it use the B2G1 or use the 2.00 off 3? Or use them together? thanks

      • Mamaberry

In the above scenario, you would use them all. You are purchasing 4 items. The B2G1 q applies to just ONE item. The remaining 3 all still qualify for one q per item. So you can use 3 of the $2 off coupons on the remaining 3 items. hth!

      • C&C Mom

I did the Aveeno deal today and it worked just fine! I used the b2g1 q along with (3) of the $2 off 1 item q’s. I did stack the coupons in the order someone else on here suggested putting the $2 off on top and the b2g1 on the bottom. I had a manager ringing me up and when he scanned the b2g1 q it took off the full retail price of $8.99! That made my body washes $0.24 each factoring in the $10 ECB!

    • Melissa

Went to CVS, picked up 4 products as stated above and used B2G1 aveeno coupon and tried to use a second coupon for $3/2 and the second coupon wouldn't be accepted through the machine. I am not sure how the 4 qs would be used as stated in the deal above. Am I doing something wrong? I am new to couponing.

      • Dani

The clerks tend to ring out the coupons as you stacked them, therefore I always place the buy x get X coupons last if I am stacking them to avoid this problem. The reverse is true for the CVS coupons $5 off $25, I place these first. HTH Happy Hunting. :-)

        • cs

I learned today that it doesnt matter when you use the $ off $ coupons. I forgot to use mine till I saw it half way through my coupons and my total was under $30 already I was like darn it can we void some coupons off, and my cashier told me she could go ahead and scan it and it would take it off, and it did. saved me alot of hassle lol

          • ab

Depends on cashier. I've had them refuse to do it before without a manager, then they acted like they were both doing me a favor “just this once.” Love CVS, though!

          • Guest

yes it does matter the order as the machine beeps if you order under 30 than they need and override to be enter.

    • Jenlee311

Ok, I am new to this so please be patient with me. =) In this post the colgate toothpaste is $1 but at my CVS it is 5 for $5. So if I only bought one would it ring up $1? Also the coupon that was in the paper that it says use was for colgate max frest, max clean, max white, total, sensitive or pro clinical but the one that is 5/$5 is the cavity protection so I can't use it, right?

      • Melissa

You can just buy 1 cavity protection and get the $1 sale. I used my $1 off coupon today with no problem. Just make sure it is the correct size. My CVS had 3 oz. tubes hiding the 4.6 oz. tubes behind, but coupon is good on the 4.6 oz.

        • Jenlee311

Melissa, did your CVS have only the cavity protection on sale and you used the same coupon I have? I'm sorry, I get nervous and want to make sure i have this right before I go back and get discouraged again. =)

          • Melissa

Yes, it was the cavity protection 4.6 oz. on sale. I used the coupon from Sunday's paper for $1 off. I do not remember what the coupon said exactly, but it was in the Smart source Sunday.

      • Lifeinjoco

My CVS didn't work with the deal stated either. The coupon didn't match the sale that they had, therefore I didn't buy w/that coupon :)

      • SWright

I was confused as to which product was the 5/$5, too, so I scanned the item at the handy-dandy red coupon machine and the read-out showed 5/$5 WITH CARD. I bought 6 items and they each printed $1 on the receipt, so I'm guessing you don't have to buy 5 to get them for $1 each, just be sure to use your card to get the right price.

    • Slgumm

My walmart had 16.9 oz. Nivea bodywash on sale for $3. With the $3 coupons from the paper today that makes for free bodywash!!

      • Strawberryfields

My Greenville paper did not have that coupon so which papers had them?

        • Slgumm

I get the Knoxville News Sentinel. I live in a small town, and I have found that my local paper rarely has the coupon inserts that are supposed to be in there. The Knoxville paper is also sold here so I buy it because it almost always has every coupon insert.

      • tina

i used 4 3.00 coupons for nivea at rite aid it made them .99 each and for getting15.00 i got 5.00 up rewards so i made a dollar :)

        • Bernie

where do you live Tina I didn't get any coupon fo nivea in my Sunday paper.

          • tina

i didnt either i printed mine

        • Slgumm

Good job! My town doesn't have a Rite Aid, and it always seems like they have great deals.

    • Bleski

NEW!!!! :) Can you print coupons in just black ink or do they have to be in color…I am spending a fortune on ink!!!! I've found that my printables are already looked at with suspicion and want to make sure of the “rules”. Thanks for any feedback!

      • cs

I only print in black and white

      • Jule

I'm sure you can print out in black and white… I have a laser printer and it only print black and white.

      • Tina

I print B&W and set my printer to “greyscale” which prints lighter and doesn't use as much ink. Recycle you ink cartridges at Staples and use the rewards towards purchasing your ink. :)

        • Bleski

thanks TINA~!!! I appreciate you taking the time to share your valuable info! I will dig my ink cartridge out of the trash! :)

        • Elizabeth M.

I have a mac and have no idea how to change my printer to print coupons only in B&W. The only time I can change them is when the coupon is a file…not from any coupon websites.

          • kori

i have a mac…when my printer options come up after i click print on most coupons, i do the following….. click safari (last drop down bar), paper type/quality, color (last drop down) grayscale, color options, black print cartridge only, then print
            hope that works for you!

      • Nevrsaydie1988

I only have a B&W printer.. usually no problems..occasionally I’ll get a “these looked like they were photocopied” remark to which I simply reply, “No, they are internet printables from ___.com, and they can each be verified at veri-fi.com as stated on the coupon”… no probs after that :)

    • Burroughs85

My local CVS is running the 40% off Physicians Formula again this week. I was wondering if anyone knows the story behind the $5 off pdf file….and the rules with pdf coupons? I want to check it out before I use it in case it shouldn't be used! I have heard several different things and didn't know which was accurate? TIA

      • Crafty_cat_86

It's a good rule of thumb to avoid .pdf coupons, unless you personally got them from the corporate website. Often, it's a matter that someone just scanned their coupon and put it online, for everyone to use, but that's illegal. I googled the $5 off pdf, but couldn't find it, so I can't give you any specifics on that particular coupon, but, if you got it from the phys. formula website or CVS's website or something, use it. If not, don't take the chance.

        • Crafty_cat_86

Also, I've found that I can ask on a product's face book page when I'm not sure about how to use a coupon. I did that a while back for a coupon that said “clairol product” but the whole ad was about haircolor and I wanted to know if I could use it on clairol herbal essences shampoo. I found them on facebook and posted the question on their wall and found out the coupon was for haircolor (so I avoided the beep of death at CVS :D). They responded to my post the same day and they're really nice about it, so I would ask if I were you. HTH!

          • Burroughs85

Oh…good idea, but unfortunately I don’t use face book:( But thanks for the help:)

    • SWright

As much as I love my CVS, I must admit that I'm starting to get annoyed that not all stores are shipped the items in the ad…come on…no Easter grass?!?!?

      • Pam W

I don't get mad at the store anymore, I just get a raincheck and move on. My biggest disappointment was last Saturday I was told that they no longer would let you get the next week's sale after 6pm if they were not a 24 hour store. I think she really lied to me. She is the ONLY sales clerk not overly friendly. I will avoid her in the future!

      • Danyeln

Well with the holiday stuff they usually get one huge shipment at the start of the season and that is it. Christmas may be different since the “season” lasts so long. I was in my store last week in the middle of the week and one of the girls was rearranging the Easter section. She told me she was trying to make it look fuller to last them till this weekend.

    • rd86

I have been couponing for over a year. Haven't had the courage to try CVS yet. I get so discouraged and confused when I see the ads because I don't know where to begin. I have read all of the “how-to” articles but I still just don't know how to start. I know once I get my initial ECB, it will be easier. But I just have no idea where to begin. Is this even a good week to begin? Do I need to spend a lot of money OOP to get ECBs? Any help would be appreciated!!!

      • tina

yes is a great week to get started th green bag tag is great and free this week you can just buy one or two thing at a time and then use the ECB to buy the next items like tran 1 ad 2 that jenny has posted i did this for a while now i have 20-30 ECB to use when ever i want have any questions just let us know were here to help

      • Jen

Personally I don't think its a great week to get started but there are some deals. I would follow Jenny's transaction ideas to get a few ECB's. Hopefully next week will be better! It takes some initial outlay of money so that you can have some ECB's but usually if you can get a good trip and earn $8-$10 ECB's and continue to roll your ECB's you should be good. Good luck and don't be afraid to start small with CVS. It can be very confusin!

      • Pam W

To me – CVS is where to start. Follow her shopping list and line up your coupons. It takes me a while in the store but it is worth it when I spend 4 something and leave with 6 in ECB. Profit always works for me. My family is pleased that I have toothpaste for them on command! It has taken me a while, but I am really beginning to REALLY benefit from the time.
Walgreens frustrates me because nothing is marked on sale. Rite Aid is too far away.
Just ventured out to BiLo sales today and DID very well.
I'm saving with Jenny's help. No week is ever a bad week to start saving cash!

      • Crafty_cat_86

This week is an exception, but usually Jenny has a “getting Started” scenario at the end of her post. There aren't the ususal small deals that use coupons this week, but here is a “getting started” scenario that might work for you:

        Transaction #1:
        Buy a green bag tag
        Pay: $0.99
        Get back: $0.99 ECB

        Transaction #2:
        Buy Easter grass $0.99
        Use $0.99 ECB
        Pay: Nothing!
        Get back $0.99 ECB

So, you get two things for half off (not bad!) and you have $0.99 ECB for next week!

    • guest

Pleasantly surprised at CVS last night. Scanned my card for a coupon and is was $1ECB! Then, I had randomly gotten a coupon for ORBIT gum B1G1 the other day. Happened to scan the CVS ad and see it was on sale B1G1. Got 2 packes of gum for free! I am finally figuring out how to make this place work for me.

      • Em

I got a $1 ECB today too! Awesome!

    • Valerie

Are you only allowed one green tag per customer? or could I buy two and bring two bags in and rack up quicker buy using multiple? I don't know the rules on the green tag thing.

      • Guest

        one thank you

      • Mamaberry

they will only count one scan of a green bag tag per CVS card per day. But, for convenience purposes, if you have two different vehicles you use, or different purses you carry, or different coupon books you use for different stores…it MAY be worth it to have the two. Especially since they are free anyway. Totally personal preference. But, no it won't get you rewarded any quicker. hth!

        • Gacssoccer2008

I was wondering the same thing! Thanks for clarifying.

    • Noway

I keep having problems at CVS using my coupons. I seem to always walk out of there with coupons they won't use, that I think are fine.

    • Christinebsn

How can I get the “CVS Home Mailer”? I sure could use the store q for Huggies Diapers.

    • Tootslil

I'm here in Charleston and I didn't have the Nivea coupons!!…and I was looking forward to those…lol

      • Danyeln

You can try a clipping service. I know that Coupon Beat (dot) com has them. Although I think she is limiting how many you can buy in one transaction.

      • Lfuga06

i didn't get my Nivea coupon either, where do I print them, I try every website and it won't let me print it, please help I am in Orange County CA,

    • Frugal_J

I've been trying to take advantage of the Aveeno deal however the B2G1 coupon is for Aveeno Positively Nourishing lotion or body wash and what would like to buy is the lotion which my store does not carry. Can I use the coupon of any other Aveeno lotion?

      • BLG

sorry..no :( That would be coupon fraud

        • Guest

That the problem here is coupons are listed and show to buy items that are not included in the sale so many times. people think than it fine to use them as the are following what have been typed above for them.

          • Mamaberry

That may be the case, but I am pretty sure that it is not Jenny's intention to imply coupon fraud is acceptable. There are, however, regional variations for every sale. It it her practice to list every coupon 'possible' match-up. So, where it may not apply to your area, it may apply to mine.

That way, I know that when I go to the store, I can take that coupon and check to see if it applies to my sale. I haven't missed out on a deal/coupon match-up because she listed the possibility. But, I am still a responsible adult who has to answer for my actions so I make sure I am using them correctly.

      • Leanne

I used the B2G1 coupon on regular Aveeno lotion with no problem this morning.

    • Elizabeth M.

Does anyone know if you can use the Schick Intuition coupon from Facebook for the razor on sale? Is the “Naturals” part of the deal??

      • Syndilew

Yes, I used this q on Saturday. HTH

    • kbcougar

just as an FYI – my store didn't have the Coke on sale…it was Pepsi. Thought I'd mention it in case that changed anyone's shopping plans.

      • LO

Yep, here too. Very disappointing. I hate Pepsi…

    • kori

No COKE sale here. My CVS trip was a total bust last night. I was trying to squeeze it in yesterday because I had a $4 off of $20 that expired yesterday. My whole trip was planned around getting 3 12 packs of Coke. But Coke wasn't even on sale. That's the 1st time I've seen this happen…. the store not having the deal that was posted on here. Are there different deals in different areas. Darn!! At least I got free easter grass, egg kit, and green tag.

      • Hdrock

Same problem here-had a $5 off $30 planned around coke. I was still fooled though because the signs were up for coke on sale–they just didn't have any classic coke left. Oh well!

      • Christina

No sale on Coke in Greenville too! I was also very disappointed! Only Pepsi on sale.

    • Frugal4life

Hey, I went to CVS last night and tried to buy Listerine 5/$5 with the $2/2 printable from days past and it kept beeping. Has this happend to anyone else? Is the the fradulent Q Jenny posted about. I printed this Q. I did not purchase it.

      • kim

the exact same thing happened to me on the exact same item at cvs a couple of weeks ago… I read a bunch of comments from others that this happened to them too so I think this coupon is just a mess. I printed mine from home too. I still have 2 more but I am just going to tossing them.

      • Twila

Yes, it is fraudulent. It wouldn't work for me either and it is now posted on a website that posts lists of fraudulent coupons.

      • Brooke

I went to CVS in Brunswick, GA and used my $2/2 and it worked for me i got four for free

    • Jule

I went to CVS today to buy the Renuzit air freshner and it didn't go through and the cashier said it was invalid. Has this happen to anyone??

Going to start CVSing this week…am beginning out of spite to Walgreens. I'm fed up with their Register Rewards program, which is becoming NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY, anyway, can 2 items that offer ECB's be purchased in the same transaction to get both ECB's? Example: buy 2 tubes of toothpaste that give back $1 ECB each, will I get $2 ECB's on my receipt or does each tube of toothpaste have to be in a separate transaction? Thanks to anyone who can help!

      • cs

        you would get $2 ecb
they add them together for the same products though so it wouldnt be 2 $1 ones it would be 1 $2 ecb
you can also use ecbs to buy the same item you just bought to get the ecb so you could buy 1 tube and then use that ecb to buy the other kind of thing

      • carla

I totally agree, I have had trouble also and it is really too complicated to deal with. I only go to walgreens if the price is too good to pass up and I only get what I need otherwise I avoid them because its just to hard to keep track of it all. Seems like each one I go to has there own rules for the rewards program and to me its just not worth the headaches.

      • Gatorginger

If it says limit one then you have to purchase them separately to get the ecbs twice, if it says limit two then you can purchase them together and you will get both ecbs

        • Twila

I think if the limit is one, even if you buy another in a separate transaction, you won't get another ecb. If the limit is 2 and you buy them together and you were to get an ecb for each, then your ecb will print as $2.00.

    • Lisa

My first trip to CVS after doing Rite Aid and Walgreens. It bugs me the sale prices are not on most of the items- is this typical? Im afraid to buy it and it will ring up wrong. Then they were out of the Edge shave gel in the ad. The toothpaste and floss that are in this list were not marked as $1.00 so I was not sure which ones I could get so I didnt get any of them. The Aveeno was not marked with the sale price so I didnt get it – even with buy $25 and get $10 ECB it seemed expensive as heck. The one I want is $18.99 so to buy 2 was not the best deal. All I bought was 4 sodas after all my days of planning, lol.

      • Ladymoon0121

If your store has one of the red box machines, you can check the price of an item before going to check out.

      • Gatorginger

It helps to take the flyer with you so you can look at the item and be abel to identify it. I cut mine out and clip them to my coupons so when I get to the item all I have to do is look at the picture from the sale to see the oz size etc so that I make sure I get the right one

    • iheartthecoupons

Had a great CVS trip today loaded up on the Aveeno products for hubby, scanned my card at the red machine and received $1.50 and CVS facial cleanser or wipes, so I found a bar of gyclerin face soap for $1.99 after q only $.49. Hubby can not use anything with a scent or scrubbies has to all natural so he will be so happy. I love CVS I believe they made the new CVS commerical after me. hehehe

    • Mom2boys

I'm sure this has been asked before, but can I use a coupon that prints from the coupon center and a manufacturer's coupon on the same item?

      • Liz

Yep! You can use both in addition to any extra bucks or $4/$20 or $5/$30 coupon.

    • purplequeeny@aol.com

my trip today was 2 bags of easter m&m's, one key tag, 2 of the orbit gums…..my out of pocket was .93 cents and I got a .99 buck reward back woohoo…..FREEEEE

      • emerson

do you know if you can use more than one bag tag on each order or will it only track the one

        • Danyeln

You can have more than one but they will only scan one at each visit. I have two, one on each of my dedicated CVS reusable bags so that whichever bag I grab I will get my scan. If you have to store hop to get all your deals they will scan it at each store once a day, sadly I have had that happen to me too. HTH

    • Dtcox1

another great week at cvs got all kinds of free items 8 free eggs filled with candy with the mars coupons nieva body wash free face clean cloths free egg color and make up in v a great people it gave me 3.00 back in xb for edge and was suppose to be 2.30 first time this has every happened got 8 free colgates 2 free reach flosses and more you cant beat saving there every week who needs wal mart ha ha god bless have a great good friday and easter…. god bless

    • Goodasgold133

Today I went to CVS and the magical red box gave me a $5 off a Beauty 360 product…does anyone know what that would be? It's not a brand. And the CVS lady I asked didn't seem to know.

      • cs

it is a brand of makeup. they have a webpage. Also if you go to cvs com and type it in there is a link for it there also. Must be something new they will be carrying.

    • laura

I know this is late but I just found out…if anyone had trouble printing their Dove Visible Care off of their website, if you email them they will send you a coupon. I got a FREE body wash coupon in the mail because I told them their site wasn't working. I know this was last weeks deals but thought I'd pass it along.

    • Ckgolf

I just got an e-mail from CVS about getting 25% your entire purchase!! So I am going to stock up on these great sales.
With the Aveeno purchase 25 get 10 back is that 25 value before coupons, so that you don't have to spend the fulll 25? Thanks for the help!!

      • Couponing Rocks!

i think the 25% off is only on non-sale items & the Aveeno items are on sale so probably won't work for that deal, but there are still some great coupons out there to get the Aveeno deal for cheap. and yes, the 25 is before coupons.

    • laura

Did anyone get the Act Mouth wash in their paper? If you're not going to use them can you let me know and see if we can figure out a trade? Thank you!! email me tynlaurasmith2010 at gmail com

    • Courtney

My weekly ad states that you must buy 4 Coke 12 pk to get the $3 ECB. Jenny has it listed as $3 wyb (3) but they are 4 for $13 (or like 4/$10 after ECBs)…. but there is a coupon in the Walgreens weekly ad for 5/$13 and it states Manufacturer coupon so I'm wondering if that coupon can be used at CVS??

      • Gatorginger

If it's a manufacture coupon it might work you can always ask before you purchase them to be sure

    • Mary

Does anyone happen to have any of the Listerine Pocketpaks coupons they are willing to part with? My son loves these. I saw there were coupons available, but I didn't get any in my paper.

    • Natalie

I got 2 clean and clear body washes (rain checks from weeks ago) 2 right guard body washes (also rainchecks), 3 tubes of tooth paste, and a can of shave…between ecbs and coupons I spent .53 cents out of pocket and still got $6.30 back in ecbs!!

    • Natalie

sorry, i was too excited to check my spelling…that would be toothpaste, and shave gel :)

    • Momofjihl

There is a $1 off Q on the GE Energy smart which makes it free!

    • Just to let you know there is a $1 off GE light bulb ( don't know if it is regional I am in Atlanta) in the 4/17 ss. I used it today at CVS for a even better deal.

    • Karen

Any BJ's members out here … I'm searching for the $3 BJ's Splenda coupon that expires 5/1. Thanks

    • Ingfam4

Has anyone else not been able to find the Nivea coupon for $3 off? I searched through both RP inserts multiple times and went to the RP web site and no luck!

      • cs

the rp web site one is gone. and seems that alot of ppl did not get it in Rp inserts either. We have 2 papers here, in one there was a $3 off the nivea for women but not one for the mens and in the other there was one for both.

      • NorthALCouponer

They were in the Huntsville Times. They actually made a mistake and put 5 of that RP insert in the paper and none of the other one.

      • Cdtching

I know!! I am so upset that I can't find the Nivea coupons. It would have been such a good deal!!!!

    • Cayoung_8

I thought the BOGO coupons on the body wash expired on the 11th of this month. I wish I had price matched my clean and clear body wash at Wal mart instead of dealing with the raincheck because I have a sneaking suspicion that my coupons are going to expire before they actually have the product on the shelf. I wish wal mart would price match my raincheck. ugh

      • cs

is the coupons stapled to the raincheck? if so I heard they will still accept them even if they are expired

        • Cayoung_8

I can staple them to it. LOL… if that works. Thanks for the tip. :)

      • Syndilew

No, there are ones that don't expire until May 15. HTH

    • Cayoung_8

FYI… the head and shoulders bogo coupon is for the 13.xx oz not the 14.xx ounce that's on sale. the 13.xx was not on sale. not saying it won't work… just saying it's technically not for the items that are on sale

    • Jamierussell73

I am new to couponing and love this site! I have a question about cvs extra care rewards. If you get $4 ec for buying the schick intuition razor wth my $3 off coupon, can I buy two in one transaction and get $8 or do I need to do it in seperate transactions? Thanks!

      • KJ

The limit is 1, so you can only get $4 ecb if you bought 2 razors.

        • Jamierussell73

Ok didnt catch the limit of 1. That clears it up. Thanks!

      • Gatorginger

The only way you can get two $4.00 ecb is if you have two extra care cards for example if you have one in your husbands name you should be able to do the deal again but in sepearate transactions. What I do when I want to buy another item and get the ecb again I use my husband's card and it will give you the ecb again. One thing though when you use the ecb you have to have the right card with you as it is tied to the card number. Put it this way if you used your husband's card to get the second ecb you have to use your husband card when you go to purchase something with that particular ecb

    • Wilto

      Hey folks!
Great week at CVS for me!
      CVS 4/17 – Paid $1.54 for $32.71 (95% saving!)

    • Sam

my cvs cashier did not allow me to purchase green bag tag because we already have one. When we showed her the ad limiting 2 per card, she said that we cannot use 2 greentags with one cvs card,we have to give the 2nd green tag to our friends, otherwise no use of 2 green tags, anyone faced this problem?

      • Lonestar9

No that sounds right, you can only use the green tag once per day, and only 1 card can be tied into the green tag.

        • guest

Thats not true I have 4 bag tags on 4 different bags. It will only give you credit for 1 bag a day but the tags are not card specific.

        • Toni

I faced a similar situation. My cashier did not forbid my purchase, but she did question it. I bought one on Saturday night in order to give it away to a friend who shops CVS but didn't have one.

        • FreedomSpradley1

I have one green bag tag that I use for both my EC card and my husband's EC card. It's only one scan per day per card. Every 4th scan on a card gives a $1 ECB.

      • The green tags have all the same barcode; buying more than one is merely for your convenience. I have 4- I think and they are on different reusable bags so I don't have to dig for my 1 bag out of 10 that has the tag. Although I recently decided to put it on my keychain with all my other store cards and I haven't forgotten to have the cashier scan it.

Also it will only be counted once a day so even if you do multiple transactions in one trip you won't get any closer to getting your ECB.

From my experience not all the cashiers understand or care to understand CVS customer program and it sounds like that is what you ran into. Hopefully next trip will be better!

      • Sam

        thank you all

    • Mrgood89

are the reach toothbrush coupons regional? They weren't in my SS this week :/

    • Staasee

The Towne lake CVS in Woodstock does NOT have toothpaste or toothbrushes on sale : ( totally messed up my scenario for multiple transactions. boo

    • Toni

Just a reminder to myself and to anyone wanting to use a $off coupon and a BOGO coupon together on two items at CVS: Make sure the cashier scans the $off coupon first and the BOGO coupon second. My cashier scanned the BOGO coupon first, and then the $off coupon wouldn't scan. However, the CVS coupon policy allows a $off coupon to be used with a BOGO.

      • Babybuck2004

Thank you for the info. New to couponing and loving all the info on here :)

    • Ultrabextr

Dilemma: The PAAS classic easter egg decorating kit is ecb $1.99. The picture show the box version. On the shelf is the box version and the cup version. Both $1.99. Both packages say “PAAS CLASSIC EASTER EGG DECORATING KIT” and nothing more. same price, same title, but cashier told me it's what's pictured, which is the box. Ummmmm… the fine print of the sale flyer says not responsible for typographical or graphic errors. This isn't even a case of the picture only showing the “fresh scent” while i'm trying to buy “arctic clean” or the wording saying “12 oz only” and i'm trying to buy a 16oz. The 2 boxes are labeled EXACTLY the same and are the same price. They don't always show all varieties in the picture, yet THIS time, the cashier treated me like i was trying to steal the stupid cups!!!!!!!!! I was buying EXACTLY what was listed as being an ecb, and the package doesn't even verify it's a different variety of the same product! The only difference is one has cups, one has a cardboard drying rack! Any suggestions????????

      • Ashley Finger

        Buy the box.

    • Toni

You know those “Sunday–Tuesday only” deals at CVS? (This week it was the Easter Grass, PAAS egg kit, etc.) Don't try to get them Saturday night (for those whose store has the Sunday deals up and running on Saturday night). The ECB's won't print on Saturday because these deals really are date specific. I learned this from corporate customer service. I know how we all plan our transactions down to the penny, and I thought this info. might help some of you as it did me.

    • Em

I had a horrible experience at CVS today. Came out with a green bag tag and a light bulb. Yes, in the end I saved money – paid just over $2 and got back 3 ECBs, but the rest of the experience was horrible. They were out of the water. The toothpaste and toothbrushes for $1 were not on sale…it even said 3/$6.98 on the Colgate in our circular, which personally was a laugh! Totally stinks as it would have been free. =(

      • Amy

The only Colgate on sale for $1 in my store was the plain old original cavity protection. I don't remember what the ad showed in the photo though.

      • Staasee

My experience was the toothbrushes are NOT marked however, ARE on sale… but on the B1G1 Head&Shoulders deal stunk, the coupon reads not to exceed $2.79 per bottle, so I had to fork out the extra $2 : (

    • Agt050

Do you know if they still take expired ecb? I have like 40 dollars worth that expired on 4/ 15 I was on vaca and forgort all about them!!!

      • Cmgilbride

Just found some from last October and they gladly took them. My manager does know me but he said that he would take them.

      • Coupons4me03

Our CVS has taken them before, too.

      • ireneY

If one store doesn't, try another. Also, try calling CS. They can reissue.

      • Bakerswim

My store in Knoxville, TN allowed me to use my expired ecbs today. They too had expired on the 15th. I just asked very nicely and explained that I had made a huge boo boo and she said, “Sure”. Good luck….hopefully someone will push them through for you.

      • Tjmj9801

My cashiers act like it's no big deal and I've never had to ask them. Not saying it's that way everywhere, but my store is very lax. BTW, I've never tried to use one that was expired by more than a week or so.

    • Surgibelle

I quickly visited CVS yesterday and scanned my card upon entry at the “coupon machine”…..It gave me a coupon for $1.50 off any CVS brand facial wipe/ cleansing cloth. I lucked up on a CVS ('Compare to Ponds')travel size pack for $1.49 = (FREE).

    • Joney

8-12 oz bags of M&M's and Hershey's products are 1.97 this week, and when you scan your card at the kiosk it prints out coupons for 50c off one M&M's product, and $1 off an 8+ oz Hershey's easter candy. Combine with previous $1/1 Pretzel M&M's, $1/2 M&M's coupons and $1/2 Hershey's/Reeses centerpiece items for a great deal! .47-.72 per bag!!

    • Fishnfools97

The kiosk printed out a $3 off coupon on groceries so I used that on the coke deal! Awesome!

    • Natalie

I just found a clearance table at my CVS with Clairol Nice N Easy Foam Color…marked down to $1!!! I went ahead and bought it, but I might go back for another box tomorrow and use the $3 off Q from PG 4/03!

    • Sara

When I get % off coupons for CVS in my email, they always say excluding sale items. I wonder does that mean all the items in the sale paper, or just the items that are on sale for a certain price, or if the items that give back RR's count…
      Does anyone know?

      • CouponClippinCutie

They are typically only good for true non-sale, non-clearance, non-ECB items. It's not that great of a deal, unfortunately. They will not workt for any item that is not full price (and you can not use them on ECB items either)

    • Brencoup

orbit gum b1g1is priced 1.29 at blairsville, ga. cvs

    • CouponingCollegeStudent

Does anyone know if the 25% off coupon can be used on the sale items? Or does “sale” items (as stated on the coupon) mean clearance items?

      • CouponClippinCutie

You could ask at your specific store but typically those coupons will not work for sale, clearance or ECB items :( I tried using one on an item that was full price but offered an ECB in return and the cashier wouldn't accept it. Apparently they are only good for true non-sale (ie: 100% full price) items so its not that great of a deal.

        • CouponingCollegeStudent

I'll probably see if they sell k-cups for my keurig and use it on those :)

    • Jen

I am not sure if anyone else has had this same problem or not, but here goes. I saw Jenny's post about the Colgate toothpaste on sale for $1 and with the $1 of coupon, it would be free. I wanted to get a bunch of tubes of free toothpaste to donate to a local shelter that has had a ton of problems with getting enough donations. So I was able to get a lot of these coupons and went to CVS, only to find out that the coupon is for Colgate Max, Fresh, Total, Sensitive, etc… and not for the regular Colgate that is on sale and the cashier would not take the coupon (rightfully so because it is for a different Colgate toothpaste.
Does anyone know where else this is on sale or have any suggestions??? I would like to use these coupons before they expire on 4/30 and so far do not really see any other good deals to use them on.

      • Syndilew

There is a q for $1 off of any Colgate toothpaste. HTH

        • Jen

Yes, but it is not for the regular Colgate that is on sale for $1. I have a ton of $1 off copons for Colgate for the other varieties, but not the one that is on sale.

      • Firstbrownie

I think wags has them on sale…..making them free, but you would have to put money out on each transaction before you got the RR back, so probably not the greatest deal for your situation!

    • Melissa

I just tried using the printable Renuzit coupon for .55/3 and it would not scan. The cashier tried typing it in manually and it said “coupon not valid…give back to customer.” So she called another lady (manager?) and she stated they could not take it if the machine does not accept it due to some of the coupons being fraudulent. Has anyone else run into this problem and is this procedure valid?

      • Srennebu

I had a shaving cream coupon for .55. The cashier told me their computer system doesn't accept this amount for some reason and has to manually put in the discounts of .50 + .05

    • Gabriela

on the aveeno deal, does anybody know if I could use a 3/2 coupon plus a free coupon to buy 2 items or I would have to buy 3?

      • Tjmj9801

What's the wording on the “free” coupon?

        • Gabriela

free aveeno daily moisturizing lotion up to 10.99 and it is a manuf coupon.

      • msivory20

I think you would need 3 items. You must have 2 items to go towards the $3/2 q and the Free Aveeno can't be combined with another manu. I don't think.

    • Gabriela

does cvs allow you to use a bogo plus a regular coupon buying 2 items?

    • Guest

The $ 3 off coupon for Nivea is one coupon or the combination of the $2 + $1 coupon on the RP 4/17 ?

      • Syndilew

        One coupon.

    • Beth

My ad and store didn't have the Toothbrushes/listerine/floss on sale so i didn't get it BUT I did get 4 Nivea Body Washes and 2 toothpastes for $4.09 :) saved $27 – not too bad :)
Oh and the milk deal as well but I did that transaction first with a prescription to get my ecb to use on the second transaction :)

      • Stef

My stores didn't have the toothbrushes as well — darn because I have a bunch of coupons.

    • JO

I was so excited to see a deal on Coke, as I am a “Coke-a-holic”, but when I went to CVS this morning, the Pepsi products that were on sale, not the Coke ones. I did not have my flyer with me, so I checked the one in the store for this week, and it showed Pepsi products, too. Even asked the cashier, and he said Pepsi was the deal this week. Rats! Did anyone else find this to be the case?!

There was some kind of mix-up with the Coke deal at my CVS (Greenville, SC). When I went on Sunday, the Cokes were tagged with the same special in this list (and dated with the correct dates); however, they didn't ring up that way. The cashier overrode it and gave me the deal, but she also pulled the tags off the shelves. There was no Coke in my ad, either, so I wonder if this was regional. I guess I am lucky that I got there early.

Went Thursday to get the John frieda shampoo and had two (2) coupons, one for each product. The cashier would only take one because the coupon states one coupon per purchase. grrrrr! When did they start this?
