At CVS can you use 2 coupons on a B1G1? For example, on the Folgers coffee, can I use 2 coupons since I am getting 2?

      • Jenny

You should be able to use 2 coupons with a B1G1 deal. Some stores will give you a hard time, but kindly explain that you are buying two items and that it was the stores decision to make the item on sale not that manufacturers. The store can also submit both coupons for redemption so it is silly to not let you. (Most will and not care though so don’t get to worried about having to say that).

    • nancy

Jenny, you are so fast at getting these deal out to where I feel I am able to plan and learn effectivly. Thank you!!!!

    • Sarah

Is it me – I can’t find the clearasil or the revlon coupons!

    • Tiffany

Thanks again Jenny! Glad I saved those ECBs that I have!

Sobe, Propel, or Gatorade B1G1 Limit 8
B1G1 Sobe, printable (IE) or printable (FF) (makes both FREE)

Just FYI: My CVS won’t let you get both free. They will take half off of one. ;0)

    • .Jennifer

I have some catalinas for B1G1 Sobe Life Water. Do you think CVS will take those? They are manufacturer coupons, but Target rejected them. boo.

    • Christen

There is a .75 coupon for ladies speed stick pro in my SS 4/26

    • Tonya

When it says “limit x” is that the limit per transaction or per card? Can I hit the limit, then go to another store and do the same transaction?

      • Jenny

That limit is per card. It tracks it no matter where you go. The only way to get another one would be to have another card and honestly that can just make things confusing. You can’t use the ECB from one card with another one so will have to keep track of two sets of ECB’s…

    • lynn

by small filler item could you give a suggested amout i am so excited i also have ecb from coke yippy thanks jennyalso could you give me a idea for this how it would work i have a 4 off 29 they sent me in the email yesterday

    • Beth

Your small filler can be Colgate at .88 and use the .75 off q…for a
      great .13 filler!!!
      Am I right?

      • Jenny

        Great idea Beth!

    • Great! It looks like I’ll be going to CVS on Sunday! I have been skipping the last few weeks due to the lack of deals and the fact that I have stockpiled!

    • lynn

wondering i have 19.00 in ecb could i combine bothe deals and get back just over 20.00 in ecb plus use my 4 off 20.00any ideas or help you could give me i would be thankful for thanks

      • Jenny

If you have a $4 off $20 first does it expire after Sunday? Cause you can’t get most of the deals until Sunday this week. If it does then combine both large transactions at the bottom and add in a Colgate Total Toothpaste. Use the 4 off $20 and coupons and your total should equal the $19 or close to it.

    • Erica

Does anyone know what time the deals start for a 24 hour CVS? And can you still get this week’s deals when the new ones start? (before Sunday)

    • JoAnn

      Newbie question:
$3 ECB wyb Playtex Gentle Glide 18 ct or Sport Tampons 16 ct at $3.99 Limit 1

Does this mean I can get one (1) Playtex Gentle Glide AND one (1) Sport Tampon???

      • Jenny

You need to just pick one. Your reciept will probably show “Playtex” as the deal so that either one you buy will reach the offer limit.

    • Newbie question:
$3 ECB wyb Playtex Gentle Glide 18 ct or Sport Tampons 16 ct at $3.99 Limit 1

Does this mean I can get one (1) Playtex Gentle Glide AND one (1) Sport Tampon???
Sorry, forgot to add great post! Can’t wait to see your next post!

    • momtaylor37

Got a $5/$30 thru Monday in my email last night…so be on the lookout! Good to know about the Monday sale too because I would have gone Saturday!

    • momtaylor37

I like the little caramels at the register for a .33 cent filler, but I like the Colgate idea too!

    • lynn

no the 4 off 20.00 says monday they gave a extra day this time thinking cause the holiday thnaks

    • lynn

on the email coupons from cvs of 4 off 20.00 can you print and use it more than once is it one per transaction or one oer person per card?

    • MiniMidgMom

I was trying to reach my $30 limit so I could use my $5 off coupon and they were out of everything I had in both my backup scenarios. I didn’t want to waste the opportunity on overpriced stuff or stuff I didn’t need. I got something from the 75% off bin, but really stocked up in the allergy section. The adult’s and kid’s CVS brand benadryl was 8 ounces for the price of 4 ounces and 48 tabs for the price of 24. There were other CVS healthcare products with bonus packs like this so it was like getting 50% off of things we use. And I was able to use flexspending for those items which really helped us out this week.

    • lynn

ok keep hearing about flex spending and also see it on my reciepts says i have x number of plex spending WHAT is it and how do you use it? Jenny on the trail mix when i go to get that coupon it says my dwfaukt printer is not supported is there another way to get that coupon …..

    • ET

Lynn, FLEX spending is what many people have through their health insurance companies. With a FLEX account, we set aside so much per paycheck that goes into this account, pre-tax (so it helps for tax purposes), and we can get reimbursed from this account for co-pays and other out-of-pocket medical expenses such as prescription costs and over-the-counter meds. Many stores and drugstores breakdown the eligible items on the receipts so that it is easier for record-keeping.

    • Lizel

They will really let you do 5 seperate transactions? Do you ever get angry cashiers?

      • Jenny

They don’t really care! Just be sweet and let anyone that comes up behind you go next. The cashiers are normally very helpful and are VERY used to folks doing it.

    • Danielle

Does this mean that California is finally using the same ad again? All of my ECBs are about to expire and I don’t want to miss a really great sale. Thank you for all that you do.

    • Emily

Lizel – I cringe at the thought of multiple transactions at one time, too, so I will sometimes spread the transactions over a few days by stopping by on my way home from work. Of course, I drive past two different CVS stores everyday! :)
Even if you buy to get them all the ECBs at once, you will have them to use all at once on the next week’s deals…

I’m very excited about this week’s CVS sales. Last weeks were so pathetic I did not even go in a CVS all week!

    • susan

      Hi Jenny,
      Thanks for the deals!
Do you know if these are good in FL this week?
Also can the SoBe coupon be used on Gatorade, or just SoBe?

    • Kristin

$1 off Playtex Gentle Glide tampons in May All You Magazine

    • Wendy

There is a coupon for $2.00 off any Clearasil product. It expires 7/12/09. Sorry I cut it out and don’t remember if it came from SS or RP.

I have the June All You Mag but I only see the .50 off colgate wisp.

    • Andrea

Question, can I use a BOGO coupon with a CVS store coupon for the same item? I know you can do this at Publix, but I wasn’t sure about CVS.

    • lynn

susan yes we here in florida get the same cvs sale this week last week was real messed up for us i didnt even go to cvs happy cvsing susan please dont buy all the good deals before i have a chance to gey to the store lol

    • lynn

does any one know if you can use the 4 off 20 more than once if it is one per transaction or one per acount ?

    • lynn

jenny office depot is sending out emails with 10 off of 50
the speed stick deoderant expired on the 16 th bummer

    • carolin

I need some serious printer help. I have been using coupons for the past 3 months and love it. I usually print my coupons at the local library, but I’m no longer able to download a coupon printer:( I have a printer hooked up to my personal computer. This is where I need the help. I can print out emails and such. So I know that it’s hooked up correctly. When I go to coupons.com or try to print out brick coupons. It lets me click install coupon printer. I click on install coupon printer and then it brings up the box for file downland run or save. I click on run. It does its thing and then nothing. The screen never changes. I have gone troubleshooting, but no very little about computers and haven’t had any luck. If anyone has any suggestions I greatly appreciate. I use Windows Vista. Thanks again.

    • Amy

I just picked up my June All you mag!! yay!! There’s a coupon for $1 N.Y.C product. They’re BOGO Sun & Mon at CVS. I didn’t notice it on here, just wanted to let ya know. Thanks!

    • poe

How do you get the higher valued Q’s. My 5/03 rp only has the folgers @ .50 off. I have the rp from 3 differant papers. Atlanta Journal Constitution, Macon Telegraph and a small local paper. just curious.

    • JoAnn

There is a $3 coupon for Coppertone here:

    • Ro

CVS ads for locations in Southern California are completely different as those shown here–lots of sales prices, but no ECB offers. Does anyone have any info about regional differences?

    • Ro

Whoops, found the answer to CA and NV lack of ECB’s. Guess we’re in the dreaded “test market” while the Longs conversion goes on.

    • Corrie

Just an FYI…I live in Alabama. I went to CVS today and couldn’t remember what diapers they had on sale, so I went back up to the front to get a sales paper. The cashier asked me if I needed the other paper. Apparently the ones they had out were for this coming week. So I said these start tomorrow, right? And she said I could get both last weeks and this coming weeks deals today! Last week’s sales end today and the new ones start today. Too bad I wasn’t prepared for that! I could’ve gotten some good deals! Next time i’ll know though!

    • Amy

      May 22nd, 2009 at 8:34 am
Does anyone know what time the deals start for a 24 hour CVS? And can you still get this week’s deals when the new ones start? (before Sunday)

I’m with Erica .. do you have to go at midnight?

    • Denise

I’m curious about your grand plan. You pay $0.01 and nothing in your scenarios. My CVS always makes me pay the tax, even if the ECB will cover it.

    • Elizabeth

Can I buy the Speed Stick Pro Deodorants (limit 2) in the same transaction and get two/both $3.99 ECBs? Or do I need to purchase them in separate transactions? Thanks for all that you do!!!

      • Jenny

You can buy them in the same transaction. It will print a $7.99 ECB.

    • Leslie

Jenny- When you do your grand plan will your final 10.99 be one ECB or several smaller ones for each of the ECB items you bought?

    • beth

Tomorrow is gonna to be my FIRST time going to cvs to do the deals–now I have 2 questions Please anyone help me–1. these deals can only be done once this week (the bandaids and speedstick can be done twice) is that right??? And how do we know what can be repeated?
      2. Why does Jenny show a filler item above in her scenario? I understand why we need them at wags but I thought cvs was different??

    • Beth –
      1. When an item is listed as (limit 1) it means that you will only get the ECBs for the item to print once, but you can still get the item for sale. Example: if the 3.99 for the Clearasil is the sale price, you can pick up as many as you want for that price, but it will only print out the 3.99 ECB once. If you read the bottom of the receipt from your transaction it will tell you what ECBs you redeemed and whether you reached the limit or whether you can still redeem ECBs for that product.

      2. Jenny shows a filler item because 3.99 x 3 minus the two dollar coupons only equals 9.99. Some stores will not let you redeem $10 worth of ECBs unless your minimum transaction is $10… so by purchasing a small item, you take care of that 1 cent discrepency so that you can use your full ECBs.

    • Carolin, go to “start” bottom left corner of screen, Then go to computer printers/faxes (not sure how to get there on Vista) but make sure your printer is selected as the default and not your fax (even if you don’t use a fax machine it may be selected instead of your printer as the default setting). Maybe that’s the problem.

    • Cindy

Confused newbie here. I cannot find the Clearasil coupon. Can anyone help?

    • brenda

The Clearasil coupons were in SS 4/19. It was on the right hand page just above the Wholly Quacamole coupon. There were two versions of SS that week – the regular one and the “green” version. Mine had Sherwin Williams paint on the cover. Hope this helps.

    • i’m still confused about the sobe qpon—-the coupon says B1g1—Jenny says it will make free. im confused….it will make the 2 you by b1g1 with the qpon free or do you use 2 coupons with 2 sobes??

thanks for everything! i’m so excited about my first CVS trip today!!

    • lynn

    • Great Day at CVS! Rolled ECB’s and only paid .81¢ OOP for transaction #1 and .59¢ for transaction #2. OVer $100 worthof products WooHOO!

    • Julie

      I love CVS….
      1st transaction:
Total saved today from receipt ($30.67 with Q and sale)
      2nd transaction
Total saved today from receipt ($14.98 with Q and sale)
Total OOP for BOTH transaction $.78 not bad for $34.89 worth of products.

    • .Jennifer

Went the morning. Followed your plan with a $10 ECB from the coke deal. Also bought b1g1 sobe life waters and used the b1g1 printable and some catalinas from buying vitamin water at kroger. Went perfectly. Thanks so much Jenny!

    • Teresa Farris

I made my first CVS trip today using the ECBs from the coke deal. I have to say – I;m totally hooked!!! I can’t wait until next week to see what is going to be on sale! I love it!!!!!! Thank you Jenny (and everyone else that helps complie lists and answeres questions in the comment sections) Thank you , Thank you, Thank you!!!

    • Shannon

Today was a good day at CVS for me. I don’t normally make more than one purchase when I go, but today, I had to. Here is what I did:

      Olay BWash $6.00-1.00Q
Olay Lotion$3.75-1.00Q (I did not realize it was not $6 but it worked)
      Herbal Es S $5.99-0.50Q
      Neutrogena $7.99-2.00Q
      Neutrogena $9.49-2.00Q
I also had CVS Coupons for $3.00 off two body washes (which they took on the Olay) and $5.00 off of $30.00.

      Total before tax $13.72
Got Back $16.00 in CVS bucks

      Kotex 2/$7.00-1.00Q
      TP $5.49-0.75Q
      CVS Buck$10.00
      CVS Buck$ 5.00

      Total before tax $0.72
Got back $6.00 in CVS bucks

So, in all I put out 16.75 OOP for $51.69 in merchandise (that is using sale prices for the total) and still have $7.00 in CVS bucks. Not a bad day at all.

    • Shannon

The total OOP counts tax in on the total. LOL

    • Here’s a $1.00 off coupon for playtex sport tampons. It takes a minute to come up…it’s in the right bottom corner.

    • Amy

Can you tell me where I might find the Neutrogena Suncare pamphlet at CVS? The clerk didn’t know what I was talking about.

      Thanks for everything you do!

Amy I seen a small pamplet for neutrogena just as you come in to CVS in a clear plastic cover on the poster for neutrogena. The poster is the medal detector that you walk thorw. It is very camaflaged.

I need help with a coupon usage question. I have a coupon for $3.00 of any 2 body washes that printed out with my receipt last time I shopped CVS. I want to use it on 2 children’s johnson’s body washes and was wondering if I could also use 2-1.00 of mfc with the coupon mentioned above. Thanks!

    • Debbie

I have a question-at my CVS they have a sign that says “we honor all competitors coupons”. This being said, do you think they will take the $5/25 from Rite-Aid?

    • Shannon

I asked about competitor coupons and the manager told me it was only on prescriptions. B: I used my coupon like yours on my body wash and lotion today and it worked just fine with the manufacturer coupons I had as well.

    • Ash

I found tons of clearance make up at my CVS. Most was 75% off, and was still on the regular make up displays but had green clearance stickers on them.
There were tons of Loreal HIP products (eyeshadows, eye liners and mascara) at 75% they are 2.50 each. There were 2.00 off any Loreal hip product coupons in the newspaper a few weeks ago (unsure of insert date). That makes them only 50 cents!
There are also Loreal color rich lip gloss clearance for 2.25 and there is a $1 insert coupon!
The best deal of the day for me was Loreal bare natural mineral finish makeup on clearance for 3.75 and there are $2 insert coupons. There are also mineral eyeshadows and blush on clearance for 2.50 that the $2 coupons will also work for.
I purchased speedstick, colgate, clearsil, playtex and halls cough drops and revlon nail polish. Paid $10.xx OOP after ecbs and coupons and I received $16 ecb! Then I used my ecbs to purchase another speedstick, cottenelle TP, 2 clearance gilette mens shower gels, the above listed makeup and 2 folgers coffees. I paid only $4 OOP and received $4 more ecbs to roll next week!

For anyone needing the cascade, there is a $1 Q for cascade action paks or gel in the Home Made Simple mailer. There is also a Q for a free 8.45 oz cascade crystal clear rinse agent. This will help get the total up so we can use our $/$$ Q.
Away from shopping for a vacation question. Family going to Hershey,PA next week. Anyone know of any good places to see on day trips to Lancaster County or Gettysburg? Daughter loves the Beverly Lewis books about the Amish and husband loves Civil War stuff. Would love to see a reenactment if anyone knows of any.
Thanks for all your hard work.

    • nancy

WOW I want to be like Ash. lol

    • beth

Ok so I did cvs today for the first time and I did the transaction above that Jenny laid out. I did 6 total transactions in a row (added the cottonelle after the deodorant) but I think I should have done the bandaids twice back to back and then the deodorant another time immediately after buying the first one. Is that right? Because now I have no more ECB left since I spent it on the cottonelle, but if I kept rolling them I would have another bandaid and another deordorant. I did it ,but it was confusing and my head was spinning when I left. I’m just glad I had a nice cashier.

    • Beth

To Carolin – I had the same printing problem with coupons.com. I had to uninstall the coupon printer from my computer and then reinstall it. I haven’t had a problem since. I hope it works for you too.

I’m so excited about my CVS trip today because I went with my two kids and didn’t get confused!!! This is what I bought

      2 ThermaCare Arthritis HeatWraps -1.50 Q each ($8.99 with $5 ECB)
      2 Hello Kitty Band-aids – $1.00 Q each (2.99 with $2 ECB)
      1 Colgate Total – $1.50 Q ($2.99 with $2 ECB)
1 Revlon Nail Polish – had 1.00 Q but cashier wouldn’t take bec.
picture was for makeup ($3.99 with $3 ECB)
      -$4.00 4/20
      -$7.50 Q’s
      -$14.00 ECB
      Total OOP $5.44 +T
& $14 ECB back for next time

    • Does CVS accept FL coupons? – if so – the B1G1 Oreos have a FL $1 off coupon thru tomorrow.

    • Jane

I am just starting with CVS and I have a card and I signed up online yesterday and connected my card but they have not sent me a coupon. I was just wondering because it says on the CVSing guide that they will send you a coupon when you give them your email address.

    • How do I print the coupons listed in red showing how to save? Ican print those that say printable but not the written in red ones.

P.S. I’m just getting started on all this stuff!

      • Jenny

Only the coupons with the word printable are coupons that you get and print. The other coupons are from the Sunday Paper. SS 3/01 means that it was in the Smart Source insert on March 1st. There are three main inserts:
        SS – Smart Source
        RP – Red Plum
        PG – Procter and Gamble

    • Vallery (Atlanta)

My CVS didn’t accept the Color Cosmetic Product Coupon with the nail color. The Clearasil and the Playtex went well. Still I didn’t find the Neutrogena.

      Thanks for the list.

    • I was excited this morning to get two boxes of Bandaids for 98 cents out of pocket, and $4 ECB back. I had a coupon for $3 off any two Johnson & Johnson products. I think I found the coupon on the floor in the grocery store a couple months back, so I’m not sure of the origin of it. So, it rang up 2.99 for each box of bandaids, less $3 coupon, less $2 ECB, for $0.98. Wish I would have seen the Nutregena sunscreen deal before I went to CVS. Maybe I’ll go back this afternoon since it is only a few blocks from my house.

    • oh, one other thing on the bandaids. The store only had the sale price stickers up on the kids bandaids, but the circular clearly says other varieties are included. I got boxes with 30 bandaids rather than the 20 in the kids varieties. Just check the box at the scanner to make sure you have one on sale if your store doesn’t have the sale prices up.

    • Christa

Jenny, oreo coupon is a target coupon, doesn’t say manufacturer coupon – can it be used?

    • Kathy

Ok so I am very confused. I was very excited to go to CVS today and I went in and got the playtex, clearasil, revlon nail polish and two neutrogena products. Then I got up to the counter and they told me there are NO ECBS this week. I don’t understand. So I called another one in the area and they said they are not doing them either, not until next month. Does anyone know why?? I live in Southern California near LA. Any information would be helpful. I was going to call the corporate office. Thanks in advance for your help.

    • Catherine

Went in hoping for the Neutogena deal, but of couse, my little CVS didn’t stock it, so while brwosing (usually a mistake) I decided to go ahead and get the Olay lotions ( 2/$12) with the $5 ECB.(had 2 $1 coupons also) Great surprise at check out – the lotions were only 3.75 each! Still got the 5 ECBas well! :)

My clerk also let me use both the $3 off for $15 spent and $4 off for $20 spent in one big transaction! She said as long as it had totaled $35 or more overall it didn’t matter. What a sweet gal!
True now I have to go back to use all those ECB, but that great sale on the Olay threw my totals off!

    • Terri Pace

In Greer SC the 2.99 Band-aids do not have a ECB back. GOD Bless!

    • MiniMidgMom

Just had a great trip – walked in the door with a $4 ECB, spent less than $3 out of pocket total and bought: a 12 pack of cottenelle, two sobee’s, a pack of playtex tampons, 2 reach toothbrushes, and a colgate total toothpaste, a box of transformers band-aids and a box of Hello Kitty band-aids – and left with a $2 ECB.

Except for the “free” deodorant, they had everything on my list. I split my order into 4 transactions so I could use the ECB’s as I went along and I took a turn then let another customer take their turn while I organized the next transaction so there was never a line. I think the only cashier in the store appreciated this and she was very helpful.

When I used the BOGO Sobee coupon with their BOGO sale I walked away with two bottles, no charge. Is this what other stores are doing? I wasn’t sure if I should get two or three bottles when I combined the coupon and the sale.

    • Jenny(also)

I went to three different CVS stores in my town in order to get all of the deals. Unfortunately, I had missed the Clearasil, and couldn’t find the Neutrogena at any of them. BUT, I did find Ziploc container 3 packs (small with screw and lock lids) on the shelf but clearanced for 75% off, making them .92 cents. I had 1.00 off coupons, making them free plus .08 cents overage. If you make your own baby food like I do, these containers work great for “on the go” meals, and you can’t beat the price of FREE! They had 5 or more at 2 of the stores I went to, so there is a good chance they will be at other stores as well.

    • Christa

Jenny, tried Oreo coupon from SS 4/19 – wouldn’t scan – this is a Target coupon only – NOT a manufacturer’s coupon. Let me know if anyone sees another Q from that insert, but I only saw Q that was Target ad.

    • MiniMidgMom

I need to add to my last post – I also bought a tin of altoids! And if anybody else uses allergy meds as flex spending filler check the monthly deals coupons at the front of the store – I could have used a coupon and got 100% more for 50% less!

Beth, you’re braver than me – I took in a list with the my combos and what order I wanted to spend, and still made my husband stop working in the yard to watch the kids. I’m still too new to be distracted.

The Ziplock containers sound great – I always check in the 75% bin but didn’t see any. I’ll carry my coupons just in case.

I never found any Neutrogena sunblock items for less than $5, and now I can’t find Jenny’s original post about what she bought that triggered the ecb. Was it a sunblock item? Has anybody else duplicated that deal or have they changed it in the computer?

    • I’m new to all of this. Can someone help me with all these abbreviations???

    • Solei

      I have a question…
I had read previously that ECB’s don’t actually expire, although they do have an expiration date on them.
I very stupidly let my ECB’S expire (not on purpose) they just did, and I tried to pay with them last night, but they beeped and the cashier handed them back to me saying they had expired. BUMMER!
I didn’t argue back, I just paid OOP because I was with hubby, but I’ve heard others say they don’t REALLY expire, that you could still use them…
Has anybody used expired ECB’s??? And do the cashiers just force them in???
I’m thinking of trying a different store because I’d hate for them to go to waste. It’s about $9.00 worth, so if they don’t work then I guess I’ll just return whatever I got them for since everything I get now is pretty much just stock piling.

      any help would be appreciated!

    • yes the neutrogena is a sunblock deal. it looks like everyone is finding them in diff places some by cosmetics some in trial sizes..if u click on cvs at the top of the homepage or any page on here really it will take u right to all the cvs deals and that one is at the top now! sorry if this comes out weird ..i can only see about half the page on my phone while typing!

    • ChristinaD

Debbie, one of the stores here in Greenville has a sign up saying that they honor ALL competitor coupons (you may even be talking about the same one- Woodruff Road). Anyway, I always take in that Rite Aid coupon and they have always accepted it. This helps me a great deal because I NEVER get the really great $4/20 or $5/25 CVS coupons that people talk about. They just won’t let me turn around and do another transaction using another copy of it because it says limit one coupon per customer.

    • Dale

The CVS on Charleston Hwy (321) has the neutrogena in the trial size items. It worked today and I got $10 ECB when purchased. The Speedstick pro deodorant was out of stock, so I got a raincheck that will also honor the $3.99 ECB when they are back in stock.

    • Jenn

Solei, the stores that I have gone to say that they DO expire. I have used “1-day” expireds and they said they do NOT accept them, but they can push it through if it has only been a day.

    • Virginia

Solei – some people’s stores do take expired ECBs, but it is not CVS company policy to do so. Some stores will take them after a day or two, some will take them after a week or a month, and there are a few (very few, probably) stores that will take them no matter how old they are. However, since it is not company policy to accept expired ECBs, it is best to not let them expire unless you have already spoken to the store and KNOW that your individual store will accept expired ECBs. You can never expect it, you have to ask and see what they say.

And yes there are some stores that will accept all competitors’ coupons, not just the prescription ones. But once again this is NOT a company policy, so you cannot expect that your store will do this unless you have already spoken to them and clarified exactly what they will accept. If you have a store that will take expired ECBs or all competitors’ coupons, you are a VERY lucky CVS-er. :)

i had a problem with the thermacare coupons that i had printed out..
$5 WCB wyb $10 Thermacare Heat Wraps Limit 1
-$3 Thermacare any 2 ct or larger printable

      **Deal Idea**
      Buy: (2) Thermacare 2ct at $6.99
      Use: (2) -$3 off Thermacare
      Total Due: $7.98
Get Back: $5 ECB, makes it $1.49 ea

I was not able to do this deal b/c the machine at my CVS wouldn’t take both coupons on the same transaction, so I didn’t get my $5 ECB back…didnt realize that I could purchase the 2nd thermacare box and get the $5 back. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem with the printable coupon??? my friend went to the same cvs and didn’t have a problem….?????

    • Lanie

I want to do the start up deal for this week, but there are a lot of separate transactions. Is there anyone else who uses the Batesburg CVS? I wondered how they react to dividing up the transactions, and is there a time that is best for shopping there?

    • nancy

I missed the sun and mon deals but did get the 10ecb for suncare. I can’t wait to see the deal for next week. I have never had so many ecbs to roll over before. I am soo exited.

    • Kasonya

I know at Wal-Greens you cannot redeem more coupons than items being purchased, but is that allowed at CVS?…I’m speaking of coupons including ECBs. Thanks!

    • Virginia

Kasonya – CVS registers are programmed to allow you to use 1 CVS coupon AND 1 manufacturer’s coupon per item. So if you have say 5 items, the register will accept 5 CVS coupons AND 5 manufacturer’s coupons, providing the coupons are all appropriate for the items you’re purchasing. CVS coupons such as a $5 off of $30 purchase coupon do count toward the number of CVS coupons that you’re allowed to use. ECBs do not count as a ‘coupon’ (even though that’s how they show up on the receipt) – you are allowed to redeem as many ECBs in a transaction as you want, regardless of how many items you purchase. If you have 1 $20 item and want to use 20 separate $1 ECBs to pay for it, you can.

    • Brian

FYI, I found the Neutrogena sunblock at the CVS in Austell, GA (near Milford Church Rd.) and it was on the top shelf above the regular size, in a bin. It’s not advertised w/ ECB’s, but they printed at the end. Also the B1G1 Sobe was adverstised here as well, even though it wasn’t at the Hiram store, so w/ coupon that was free as well.
      Thanks for the website!
