On Nov. 4 & 5th – CVS is offering a printable 30% off coupon for your entire purchase in store or online!! http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/promoContent/promoLandingTemplate.jsp?promoLandingId=1272&WT.mc%20%20_id=EM_DYN_110510_Friends_Coupon

    • Kristy

While my boys wont play with these, they will make great gifts for donating.

    • Betty

Woo hoo that is awesome since those are on my shopping list!! Thanks for sharing!

      • Amy J.

Funny, I wasn't gonna buy any of the Zhu Zhu pets since my daughter has 2 already.

I hit the Black Friday sale at Big Lots and got 4 of the Zhu Zhu play sets for $5 each which she'll be getting for Christmas…..but since this great deal has come about, I'm gonna buy 4 of the pets, too! Even if I only give her 2 of them, I can either gift the other 2 or donate them :-)

I've been loving all the great deals lately for Holiday shopping…..this site is the best!

    • Drogerson4

Great way to stock up on things to give away with all the opportunities we're given this month.

    • Amyusg

The coupons not working for me:(

    • Leb07162

Wow, thats a great deal. Thanks

    • mommydub

Having a little trouble figuring out the math on this one. Can someone please explain why you only pay for one?

      • ninab

They are going to be B1G1 so if you buy 4 you would be paying for two add in the coupon (it pays for 1) you get all four for the price of 1

      • Amy J.

the sale next week is B1G1 free, so if you buy a total of 4, you're already getting 2 for free……use the coupon (B2G1 free), and that makes the third one free, so you only pay for the 4th one. HTH!

    • Jam

How does that work? (not being critical, just a little confused) Wouldn't you end up buying 2 and getting 3 free for a total of 5 pets?

      • Okay this is hard to explain without being in person and having props to visualize.

        Here goes:
The B2G1 coupon doesn't care about the sale. The first two count as one's you are buying (even though one it's free) they make the third one free. Then by grabbing a third one you automatically get another one free from the sale!

So in other words… the 2nd and 4th are free from the sale, and the 3rd is free with the coupon.

        Help any???

        • pete

not at all because it is not B1G1 it is B2G1 and the coupon is also B2G1 free so you will have to buy 2 get the 3rd free and then use the coupon to get the 4th free, still have to pay for 2 though (using the cvs add for Wilson NC, i understand that your add maybe different though)

          • This is a deal for the ad that begins on Sunday, not this weeks ad.

          • Sarah

Here is how I understand it. Forget the coupon for a minute, if they are B1G1 then if you buy 2 then you get 2 free. THEN, with the coupon you will get an additional one for free because you have technically purchased more than the three required for the coupon. Does that help?

          • BpGc

I had to buy a second one too because my cashier “overthought” it and wouldn’t just scan the coupon. Good luck everyone else.

        • Hrelrod

if you got the emailed coupon for $5 off of 30–it is all 4 pets for around $5!!
(I think some one said they are $9.99)
buy 4-($9.99X4=$39.96) then use the $5 off $30-subtotal-$34.99-
scan CVS card, then the coupon–total some where around $5
          Is this right?

          • hunter

you have to buy $30 worth of stuff after sales to use your $5/$30 coupon. The coupon is (should be) linked to your card, so you wouldn't be able to use it before your card is scanned.

      • Johnandleah

It should work like this: The coupon will deduct 9.99, so if you buy 2, you'll get 2 free because of their ad that week. Then this coupon will take off another 9.99, meaning you only pay for 1.

    • Supersaver281

Wow so exited. I have built up some nice ecb's. My stockpile is huge. I am going to buy these and donate them. Yea!! Thanks!!!

    • Amy J.

Awesome!!! Thanks to Martha and Jenny!!!

    • ancorrs

how about buy 3 only, would that be all free? just a thought:)

      • hunter

it would be nice if it worked that way but you have to buy 4 to get 2 free. if you'e only buying 3, you're only getting 1 for free… then the second one would be free with the coupon, so you'd still be paying for 1.

    • Johnandleah

It should work like this: The coupon will deduct 9.99, so if you buy 2, you'll get 2 free because of their ad that week. Then this coupon will take off another 9.99, meaning you only pay for 1.

    • Ukrainianunit

how much are the regular price on those?

      • Amy

        $9.88 at my store.

    • pete

the add says buy 2 get 1 free, not buy 1 get one free as you are stating

      • This is for the ad that begins on Sunday. Not this weeks ad.

      • Michelle

        Mine too :(

    • Gamego71

I think that is the current add, but next weeks add is different

    • Courtney

I got a $4 off $20 coupon via email from CVS today too!

    • C_gunter06

Is it normal that the coupon only prints on a1/4 of the page. The barcode looks way too small.

      • Mommysauls

Mine takes up about half the page with all the extra writing but I will cut that off. Hope that help :)

    • Couponkeri

    • Bluangel

WOW you rock, I am going to make these stocking stuffers!!! Thank you!

LUV U!! Thanks for ALL that you do!

    • Jenn

Mine will not print. It comes up the box on the left to print but it never prints. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

      • Caritob40

Try cleaning the history, deleting the cookies and restarting the computer…then try again..it works sometimes :)

      • Bigredsue

Mine too. So I printed it landscape and it printed fine that way

    • MamaSmo

Combined with my $5 extra bucks, that is going to be a sweet deal. I hope I don't have a hard time finding a CVS with them in stock…

    • Joysews

The coupon states limit one per customer, so how cane you use two????

      • wendy r

you are only using one coupon so you will be ok

      • The deal above is only using one coupon.

    • MK

Soo very excited about this deal! Guess I will be up EARLY Sunday morning to do this so I wont run into them being sold out!!! Great way to get gifts to donate and for school Secret Santa!! :) Thank you SO MUCH!!!!

    • Great deal! I will have to make an early morning run to cvs on sunday!

    • Deb Steele

how do you find these q's? thanks for the help

      • Deb

        got it, thanks

      • I received mine via email directly from cvs.

    • Bluwheeler

Thank you! These were on our daughter's wishlist this year!

    • lene

Thought i heard a while ago that u can get the Sunday deals starting Saturday evenings in some stores. Anyone else find this to be true???

      • Andreajenkins22

My CVS in Nashville honor the new ad prices on Saturday night. They said, “if the ad is out in the store, we'll honor the price.” They usually put the ads out Saturday evening.

    • Dan4193

      got it thank you!!!

    • Bessie

Thank you. I can donate them to the Mission of Hope drive.

    • Guest

What time on Saturday at a 24 Hour store, does the Sunday sale start?

    • I also received a $4 off of $20 via email today. Perhaps I should by a lottery ticket!

    • Amybnobles

my coupon is not printing ht bar code, but the coupon says to scan the car code or enter the coupon number. so is it a big deal?

    • Kb

you're killin' me smalls……listen people, If Jenny says it works, it will work! Jenny wouldn't try to get us in trouble!

    • Sandra Ober

Hi…my coupon shows up as buy 2 get one free ?? Can someone post the link to the correct offer? BTW…I could not get there from the link above…I had to type in the whole address myselft and then I was able to enter my email address for the offer. Can anyone help?

      • tina

read her scenario again, you have the correct coupon.

    • Freeingu

This is so funny, Jenny, what would we do without you to make our scenarios.

    • couponmama

I'm having trouble getting the coupon…I click on the link, put in my email as it says, click submit- then it takes me to a blank page. What gives? I've tried both Internet Explorer & Firefox both…help!!

    • Tracyjorg

I'm confused…aren't you still buying 2 and getting two free? I don't understand how you can buy one and get 3 free. Not being rude, but it's late and I'm tired

      • Theherbie17

You buy for buy one get one free… so you are paying for two and getting two free… then you use the coupon and get another one free…. makes it buy ano get three free

      • EB

Here is another way of thinking of it:
You go to the register with 4 pets.
Because of the sale, 2 cost the regular price, 2 cost $0

Now you have a coupon that basically says it will pay the cost of one pet if you are checking out with a total of 3 – you meet this criteria so the coupon pays for the regular cost of one pet – leaving you with paying for the cost of one pet.
thus you pay for one but walk out with 4 (= buy 1 get 3 free)

        • Tracyjorg

so even though the coupon says you must buy 2 you end up canceling one out in the end? I guess you're right, but I'm curious to see if the register rings it up like we would want it to….my CVS people flake out on me sometimes on stuff like that and it doesn't work in my favor.Oh well we'll see what happens-Thanks

          • Sarah

I should work, just like you can use a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 sale and get both free.

          • EB

It is because, unlike some stores that only consider you “buying” something if you paid money for it, CVS would consider that you are “buying” all four of the items that you bring to the register (they just happen to be choosing to charge you $0 on two of them). Luckly, when they use the B2G1 coupon, they pick one of the ones that cost full price to give you free instead of one of the ones that cost $0. So you get two they priced at $0 and one of the full priced ones free, leaving you with one of the full priced ones to pay for in the end.

    • Neesy

my coupon didn't print right and it want let me do it again and I was going to use these for stocking stuffers : (

      • Kate

….do you have another email address you can use?….this worked for me.

    • Seymourcathy

      wow that is great

    • Jennie

I can't see the whole ad… will there be a limit on how many you can buy? What if it's limit 1 deal per customer then the coupon won't work.

One more thing, if I have all non 24 hour CVS stores, the ad prices start Saturday night and NOT Sunday morning? I need clarification please so I can make my game plan! Thanks! =)

    • Tina

im trying to understand this….it is so confusing……i feel like a retard……maybe someone can get me to understand…

      • Alaina

I feel that way too! If you buy two…get two free…then use the b2g1 free coupon, you would actally be buying two and getting 3 free?? Is that wrong? The math doesn't add up……

        • Sarah

You got this part right “buy two…get two free…then use the b2g1 free coupon”, your coupon applies to the 4 you are already purchasing and so you get a 3rd free, only paying for the first one. Does that help?

    • CK

Awesome! Hopefully I'm off from work in time on Saturday to snag this deal from my non 24 hour store.

    • Christina0525

just curious what the starting price of these is?

      • Ginger

        Last year they were 9.99.

    • Amy B.

Do you think this will also work with the 30% off coupon????

      • Sarah

That is what I am wondering. I also have a $5/$30 and am wondering if I can stack the two.

      • Packofwises

I have the 20% off and it wouldn't take it. Cashier said that it was a sale item and the percent off coupons won't work with sale items.

    • Birdy

I still do not exactly understand it but I am going to try it just for the heck of it LoL! My girls will like them for stocking stuffers!!!

    • Nancy

Each ZhuZhu is usually about $10. The cheapest I've gotten one is $4 @ walmart's black friday sale. So if you get 4 of them, they end up being $2.50 each. Great Deal! Thx for sharing.

    • Lisa

*In-store only. Maximum $9.99 value. CVS/pharmacy will not accept offers printed from unauthorized internet postings or reproductions, copies, or facsimiles of this offer. Coupon cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy coupons. Limit 1 coupon per customer. While supplies last.

    • Jnn_horan

Just a word of caution for those people who shop sat. for sun …… the buy 2 get 1 free sale for this week would still be in effect on saturday, so we might have to wait until sunday for the new B1G1 sale to kick in to get this deal.

    • Mandy

Hey guys…. my coupon came up automatically when I put in my email… but it let me print it TWICE!!!!! So now I have LOTS of stocking stuffers for BOTH my girls! Thanks Jenny!!

    • Mommy2three

Can someone explain this to me please? I don't get how your only paying for one and getting 3 free. Please help!!!

      • Jayna

The Zhu Zhu Pets are buy one get one free in a store price reduction…when you buy the first one, you get the second one free. And when you buy the third one, you get the fourth one free. But then you have a coupon that is buy two, get one free. So that makes a 3rd one free. You only pay for one.

        • Mommy2three

Oh, Thanks Jayna! Im still new with couponing, so I get confused often, Thanks again!

          • Jayna

No problem! I just tried this today and got four for the price of one! Worked perfectly. The store manager rang me up and he said that CVS has an overabundance of ZhuZhu Pets in stock and they’re trying to get rid of them. He said they were bigger last year, so now the stores are overstocked with them. He had no problem with me taking four off his hands.

    • Tanisha Siplin

It worked for me! I got 3 Zhu Zhu pets and paid $10 (the price for 1 is $9.99) and I am so happy!! At the cheapest, the are $7.99 each. What a deal?!!! Thanks CVS~Tanisha, Beaufort, Sc

      • Simplysettled199

I think u should have gotten 4 for $9.99…buy 1 get 1 and when u buy 2 one of those is free so u end up w/ a total of 4 for the price of 1.

        • Sandy

The sale doesn't start until Sunday. She shopped this week and the Zhu Zhus are currently B2G1.

          • Tanisha Siplin

That is correct Sandy. Sunday will be a better deal since you will b1g1 free. The current dale is b2g1free. I think everyone is confused because some people are using the current sale and some are using the sale for Sunday to break down the prices and that's why it's not making sense to alot of people. I must admit, it had me at first also.

    • Simply Sweet

Tanisha ~ did you do this online or in the store???

      • Tanisha Siplin

I used it in the store. My CVS has them buy 2, get 1 free, but on Sunday, the sale will change to b1g1 free, which will be a better deal.

    • Dmllr813

I have spent all morning trying to figure this one out-and even conferenced with a friend. So here is my explanation for those that don't understand. You buy 4 pets and only pay for one.

They are B1G1 to begin with. So if you have 4, you are only paying for 2 at this point.

Once you hand over your B2G1 coupon, then they take the 2nd one off, and you only end up paying for 1. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think I understand this deal now. =-)

    • Debrahodges

if your store is 24hrs does the sale start at midnight saturday night?

      • tina

i am pretty sure that is right.

    • akellyinva

I haven't seen next week's ad, but this week's ad has Zhu Zhus for B1G1. I guess their sale runs 2 weeks? And, I'm with the rest of you on this B2G1 with a B1G1 sale. I've only recently understood the B1G1 sale with B1G1 coupon. Just trusting Jenny on this one! lol

      • Sandy

        This week they are B2G1

        • akellyinva

aha! so they are. i looked at the ad several times and still missed that. thanks! i actually went to cvs to get them, but they only had kung zhu. i passed. glad i did now!

          • tina

i went today to scope out my cvs and they had the regular zhu zhus in one place and the kung zhu in another, just fyi. i think the regular ones were on the regular toy aisle and the kung zhus were on the seasonal aisle.

    • Coupons090

how would this q work with the current ad?

      • Coupons090

        sorry ,i got it.

    • Jennjen11378

i'm confused how this would work? will there be a coupon for this? to make it buy 1 and get 3 free??

    • megan

Okay, so if I buy 6 use two B2G1 coupons, will I pay for 1 and get 5 free? I am confused!!!, When I put it on paper this seems right but doesnt sound right! This is how I see if I buy 6@ B1G1 I am getting 3 for free!, then if I use two B2G1 coupons I am getting 2 more for free so I should only pay for one right???

      • Val

Only one coupon per customer. Bring 4 to the register, use your coupon, and you will only pay for one.

        • Heather A

This is not working for all of us. My CVS said I buy 2 get 3 free.

          • tina

it is because the current is overriding tomorrow's ad. they are buy 2 get 1 this week so that is why it is not working out the way we had planned.

    • Jnn_horan

Mmm………….I want to see how this flies with CVS. If it doesn't, then I can see getting a total of 6 for the price of two…….buy 3, get 3 free and with the b2g1 attaching to 1 of the 3 that you are buying.

    • Bamabobbie

Just got home from CVS and had to buy two and got one free and then the CVS two for free. So in all got 5 and paid for two???? Doesn't sound right to me.

      • michelle

Same here. My cashiers said you buy two, you get two, then you could use your coupon to get another free from the two you bought, so I had to buy 2 but received 5 altogether so it was a buy 2 get 5 deal for me also.

        • Bamabobbie

I think I'm going to return one tomorrow to a more friendly CVS and see what happens.

    • Kgby13

Not that hard to figure out. The deal STARTS Sunday the 5th. Some stores turn sales on early so they are bogo for today too. This week they were buy 2 get 1 free. If your stores dont turn on the sales early, just wait until tomorrow.

    • Lawanda51

When I click on my printable coupon link it will not open..I so wanted this coupon.

    • Asmith

Just attempted 1st store said they would have to void the sale price in order for me to use coupon had 4 and they rang up b1g1
Went to a different one and they told me I had already used coupon . Eventually after much discussion and growing line the cashier took off coupon. I don't see why any different than combing b1g1 sale with b1g1 coupon.

    • Sillysnicks

I just did it, my store had tomorrow's ad on so I picked up 4 pets for the price of 1 with the sale for next week b1g1 and the coupon. Awesome deal!

    • Cindy

Hey! I just got back from CVS and purchased 4 pets used the coupon 4 off 20 and then the b1g1 coupon and paid 6 and some change with tax. It does work!

    • Danielle

It worked, but I made the mistake of taking my kids! My son wanted the Kung Zhus (which are bogo) and the armor for them (which are also bogo). My daughter wanted the Zhu Zhu. So I ended up with 4 Zhu Zhu, 2 Kung Zhus and 2 Kung Zhus Armor. I used a $5 off $25 and the b2g0 and spent $26.48 and saved $54.51. I think I did okay, but I wish I'd known that the dog was going to chase these little things all over the kitchen barking!!!

    • Crafty_cat_86

My store had switched over and they rang up b1g1, but the manager was skeptical that I could still use the coupon for the 3rd “free” zhu zhu. She ended up scanning it, but it beeped me out. I think this was my third transaction of the day and I think she was as fed up with the system as I was (the ads were switched over, but only partially and we couldn't figure out why or what was going on…), so she just pushed the coupon through. Not sure what's going on here…

    • Revelationsacademy

I had to get 5 total to use my coupon! Was really aggravated because my friend had just went through and only bought 4 and got to use her coupon. I told the cashier and he went to the manager and said I had to get 5 total! Oh well I have a hamster family now!!

    • tina

they were buy 2 get one free on the current ad 11/28-12/4 and so it is messing up the B1G1 for next week when you use the coupon. i had a similar experience a while back with a revlon situation and i just had to go back the next day and start over. it is difficult when something is on sale on week and is sale the next week with a different criteria. good luck ya'll!

    • Susan

Just got back from CVS, at my store the Sunday sales start on Sunday so I asked the girl if she coulld hold 4 for me until tomorrow and she let me have them at sale price tonight and the coupon worked fine. Four for the price of one. I love my Chattanooga CVS! and SS!

    • Cheryl

Not problem getting mine. Paid for 1 and received 3 free this evening at 6! Great deal and no problems at all! I

    • Jsdaxe

I just got back from non-24 hour CVS. I got 4 Zhu Zhu Pets FREE!!!! I can't figure the math, but she scanned each one and both coupons and the total was $0.00!! Thanks Jenny-I would have missed this without you!

    • Emmyab

sending the hubs now…. will see

    • Emmyab

hubs had no problems, they let him do it twice (donating 4)!! thanks so much, my son will love them and im sure some other children will love them too!!

    • Jennie

Went to the CVS at Dorchester and Ashley Phosphate in SC… I was the first to use the coupon and they had heard to be on the look out for the coupons. I had to get a total of 5 – paid for 2 and got 3 free. I had other items, but the manager rang up 4 hamsters first and scanned the coupon. He told me it wouldn't take and he told me to get another one. It worked I guess afterwards. I checked out the comments before I went this evening and saw that someone else had to get 5 (bought 2 and got 3 free). Oh well… they ended up being $3.99 each (5) instead of the $2.49 each it would have been had the coupon worked for me the way I was hoping it would have. $3.99 still isn't bad.

    • tina

just a heads up my cvs had the zhu zhus in two different places. the regular shu shus are on the regular toy aisle and the kung zhus are with the Christmas aisle, just wanted to share so that if you go and find them “out” look around some more.

    • Thorders

At Peachtree City, GA CVS bought 8, paid $19.98!!!!

    • Ilovecouponing2

This deal worked beautifully for me! I had a $4 off CVS coupon AND a gift card, so I left the store with (4) Christmas presents for FREE! Thank you, Jenny!

    • Mom3girls1boy

Some people really kill me!! My husband worked till midnight and went straight to CVS. He joked, while parking his car, that the 2 ladies walking out just bought up all my Zhu Zhu pets. Too bad it was true! They bought 106 pets. There were 4 left (that my husband had to FIND hidden behind the Kung Zhu's), so we were able to get our 4. I just feel bad for anyone else who is looking to get this deal.

      • christina

This kind of abuse makes me sick, How can the store even allow this to happen?

        • Nita Royal

Agreed! – That's one of those items which should have had a limit.

          • Laverne

Got my deal this morning & was actually going to try and get a 2nd deal, but the cashier pointed out 1 per person. I'm cool with that, I was going to donate the other 4 anyways. I will probably still donate one or two of the ones I got.

      • Sandy

The coupon says “Only one coupon per customer”. It shouldn't have happened.

        • Mom3girls1boy

The cashier said she didn't use any coupons; just took advantage of the B1G1

      • Ginger

NOOOOOOOO! That's awful, OMG how RUDE!!!

Maybe you guys should rat them out to corporate?? No wonder some stores are always sold out of the deals right away, if they let people get away with that. Anyone with an ounce of sense should have looked at the coupon and said, “Nope, sorry!”

    • mommyof2

I'm sorry I don't mean to be retarded here but how exactly does the b1g1 free sale work with the b2g1 free? how does this add up to 4, with 3 free?

      • Nita Royal

The store sale of B1G1 = you take 4 to the checkout, 2 will ring up at the sale price, 2 will ring up for 0.0. Then you use the coupon, which will deduct the price of one of the “paid” items above. So in the end, you pay for 1 and take home 4. Hope that helps.

        • Ginger

I have to admit, I'm with Mommyof2. Even though I understand your explanation, and I already did my deal– and it worked with no problem– I don't understand WHY it works. It still seems to me like you should have to end up with 5, so I can't blame CVS personnel for being confused on this one. I'm just glad we had Jenny here to point us toward the deal!

    • Swkmjk

Worked great for me. The receipt shows, buy one then got one free, buy another one then got one free. Now use the B2G1 coupon and it deducted another $9.88. So I ended up paying for one ($9.88) and got three free. Now I used another $3 coupon the Red in-store kiosk gave me when I walked in the store and it gave me another $3 off. IN THE END I GOT FOUR ZHU's FOR $6.88. Got them in Harrisburg, NC and they had about 30 at 7:45 AM

    • Amy B.

My local store on Lake Murray Blvd. gave me a hard time about the deal. They wanted me to buy 5 total to get 3 free. (ps, if your store makes you do this, go ahead and get the 6th one free too). After explaining to the manager that it was no different than getting two items free with a B1G1 sale combined with a B1G1 coupon, she basically said that what I was doing was ethically wrong but that she wasn't going to argue with me and gave me the deal. Then, when it came to the 30% off they wouldn't give it to me since I did not have a printed coupon (that doesn't exist). I felt that my store thought these promotions were too generous and they were trying to save profits.

      • scarieusc

The one a bit further down on St. Andrew's Rd and Broad River Rd did mine absolutly fine this morning and even let me use 2 coupons to purchase 8 as long as I did it in 2 seperate transactions. Try them, they are always great! :)

      • I got 8 pets using 2 transactions at that store(Lake Murray Blvd.) tonight. I almost always shop that store after 6pm. I think the manager and employees at night are much better. I shop the one on St. Andrews rd. sometimes and they have always been nice too.

    • candice

i wonder if the zhu zhu babies will work too…it says any 2 zhu zhu pets…..

    • Pink_10_princess

Thanks so much for this! I had $8 in ECB..so I got 4 plus 2 boxes of poptarts for less than $7!

    • Gamedic911

I just got back from CVS and got my (4) Zhu Zhu Pets for $5.88… I was able to stack a $4.00 off $20.00 purchase coupon on top of the already deal… my grandson is going to love these for Christmas (:

    • Sarah

Good grief, I'm gonna scream. Just got back from CVS. The coupon beeped, and after arguing with 2 cashiers and 1 manager who all told me I would have to buy a 5th to use the coupon, I left with none. I brought up the fact that I can use a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 sale and they didn't blink.

    • :)

Went to the CVS near my house to get this deal. (I had purchased one earlier today at a different 24 hour CVS but all the girl hamsters were gone and i had to get boy hamsters) Ran into a man who was purchasing boy ones, so i said hey, you can have the coupon if you get my girl ones and i will give you my boy ones. We we got to the register the Manager refused to ring it up on the same transaction. So it couldn't be used, i showed him the receipt from the other store, and he said they didn't know what they were doing and rang it in wrong. He said they had the 30% off but he didn't take it off.

    • rayenc2

I bought five and spent $6.99. I didn't give my CVS card first. I gave the zhu zhus, then two b2g1 printable coupons, then my CVS card. I think the order may matter for this deal. The reason why I paid only $6.99 was because I purchased some Zhu zhu babies.

    • Guest

I got mine this morning! Plus, with my purchase I was able to use $5 off $30 and a 20% off coupon. :) Yay!!!! I love it!

      • Guest

Just wanted to add that I purchased 4 total and used a the coupon above to get 3 free after I purchased 1. They scanned my card first, rang up my purchases (I had other items), then they scanned my 3 coupons (one for Zhu Zhu's, one for $5 off $30, and one for 20% off total.)

    • Stephanie

I scored the Zhu Zhu Pets this morning! With ECB's I had and the coupon, I got 4 for $1 OOP!!!!! YAY! I also found the Reinventing Beauty mag too! Up until now, our store did not carry these!!!!

    • Poohmansmom

Just a note. After reading these posts, I see that some cashiers are making up their own rules about why the coupon beeps (like you have to buy a 5th). The coupon beeps because t prompts the cashier to enter the price of the zhu (9.88). Once the cashier enters the price, the coupon goes thru fine. If this happens to you, just say something polite like “they're 9.88 this week” and maybe it will go smooth from there.

Also, it is one per card and each coupon has a different, unique number. If you have printed the same coupon more that once, the second time you try to use it, it will beep and say redeemed because that true.

    • rayenc2

hmm…is it one CVS per household or per email? I didn't see one per household on the print out and now I used two up (one for my husband and one for me). I hope I didn't inappropriately use those coupons. I'm so confused about this deal I spent about an hour trying to figure it out and I still don't get it!

      • scarieusc

I went to our CVS just as they opened this am. The cashier let me use 2 seperate deals/ coupons and purchase 8 total pets. I had to do each in a seperate transaction and use my CVS care card, but each total was $10.57 (after tax) for each set of four. :) That makes each one only $2.50! :) So, I believe it is per email for each coupon, but you must use each coupon in a seperate transaction.

      • Sb

The coupon says “one per customer”

    • Themayfieldzoo

Dont know if I did this right…help me out…went and got 7 total zhu zhus…used my B2G1 coupon as well and paid $27. Seems too hight for me.

      • Sarah

Hey, I think the problem is that you should have bought 8, that way with the sale you would be buying 4 and getting 4 free (with 7, you bought 4 and got 3 free). Then with the coupon you should have gotten another one free, paying for 3 in the end (at $9.88 each) that sounds about right. Sorry. My store wouldn't let me use my coupon unless I bought more than 4. =(

    • Joanie

I just got 4 zhu zhus for absolutely free! I love my CVS cashiers! She let me use the two coupons and with the sale, it rang up for a total due of $0.00! I asked her if it was right and she said that the cash register said it was, so it was. YIPEE!

      • Sb

????? I know the cashier let you do it, but the coupon said one per customer. =(

    • nanasap

This works because of the way CVS has their register programs set up. The same way you can use 2 manufacture coupons on a B1G1 deal. Their register looks for 2 barcodes scanned and if that happens they “read it” as 2 seperate items you purchased. It doesn't look at what you paid or got for free. So in theory, no, we really should not be able to use this and get 3 for the price of one, and other companies would probably not let us do it, but isn't that why we love CVS !!!

    • Mickey

Thanks Jenny, the deal worked just like you said. I have two nieces that will be happy. Thank you for all your hard work.

    • Erika

Went and got my 4 Zhu Zhu pets this morning for $10. The cashier was confused and didn't want to give it to me at first. She said the sale was B1G1 not B2G1 therefore the coupon wouldn't work. I told her that was last weeks sale and this week was B1G1 and that it is a legit coupon off of their website and that it should work with this week's sale. After being completely confused she typed in the coupon and gave it to me anyways! We got two rockstar Zhu Zhus and two Kung Zhu's. I'm keeping one for my daughter & giving the other three away to my nieces & nephews for Christmas. Thanks Jenny :)

    • Reneeonc

Oh Lord! Went into a CVS that has issues anyway (it was closer)…tried to buy 6, wanted to use 1 B2G1 coupon (would've only paid for 2 that way)- the cashiers x2 and the manager all looked at me like I was crazy and said, and I quote, “the sale is way better than the coupon. They're already buy 1 get 1 free”. I patiently tried to explain the concept to them, and they looked at me like I had fallen off the earth- so, I bought all 6 anyway and plan to return them to my favorite CVS, (the one I should just always know to use because they are SOOOO Friendly! CVS on Alico & Hwy 41 in Fort Myers is THE BEST!!!!!)

    • Processsmith

My CVS told me I was trying to cheat the store. Long story but I intend to visit the store tomorrow when the Store's GM is in so I can explain how the manager on duty today yelled at me that I was trying to “cheat the company” ( 4 times) in the presence of other shoppers! I don't intend shop at CVS EVER again! (But I'll use their coupons at Publix! LOL )

      • You definitely need to go over his head. Corporate needs to know if a manager is acting that way. I am so lucky to have a “good” CVS near my house.

    • Merg49

I got 5 of the Zhu Zhu's & 2 50 cent candy canes for under $11. Was this right?

      • Stacey0216

No, you should have only bought 4.

      • Candygirljen99

That means you came out with one more than most, for the same price! Awesome!

    • Just gotta say…this was AWESOME! Let my darling daughter pick out two for herself and the other two will go to stocking stuffers for needy families. Took advantage of the Coke deal, candy canes, and some M&Ms to get my total over $30 so I could use my $5 off coupon…my total OOP was $21.49 and I saved $51.19 with no ECBs! Headed back tomorrow after I drop the kids off at school to stock up on P&G goodies to send in my $20 rebate and coupon book. My plan is to buy the Olay Regenerist (24.99), and a Cover Girl pressed powder ($6). I have $4 ECB from today, plus $6 in coupons and a $5 off $25. I'll get back the $10 ECB and the $20 rebate…a $14 profit! YOU ROCK, SOUTHERNSAVERS!

    • Hrelrod

This deal worked great. Mom and I both got 4, we used a $5 off of $30, then the coupons and cvs card so the total was under $5 for each set of 4

    • Simplysettled199

I am from Barnwell SC and I got my 4 Zhu Zhu pets for $9.88 this morning….actually I bought 2 AZO products and got back $10ECB & used that to pay for the pets…GREAT DEAL!

    • Meredith

I was allowed to use this coupon with accessories so I bought two pets and two armor sets (similar price) all for about $10. Can't beat it!

    • Mutiaja

BooHooo for cvs at brainerd rd Chattanooga tn they not let me use coupon but I'm going to try deferent store wish me luck:)

      • Susan

        E. Brainered let me, paid for 1 gat 3 free.

        • Susan

          oop's got

    • Brooksmare

I ended up with 5 pets for $21. They were not going to let me use coupon, I said I knew others who used them and the manager said I had to get one more so…

Bought 2 got 3 free??? I can live with that!

    • The cashier I had looked long and hard at the coupon trying to figure out HOW I was only paying $10 for the toys LOL I am going to another CVS tomorrow hoping they have a different selection.

    • ClemsonMommie

My husband and I went into a store in Greenwood while we were visiting family today… and it was no problem. We picked out 4, after the cashier rung them up and used my CVS card [[totaled around $20]]… handed her the coupon and it came up to [[around $10]]. We don't have have a child old enough for these lil' guys, so we will be donating them-so what a great gift for a deserving child this Christmas!

    • Sarah

So weird, I tried this coupon at two different CVS stores today. The first told me I couldn't use it with the B1G1 sale (argued with 2 cashiers and 1 manager), so they voided the trans and I left. The second store scanned and a screen came up saying the coupon had already been redeemed? Even stranger is that I swear the cashier at the store said something about it had already been redeemed. I ripped up the coupon and used another email address to print another. Gonna try again…sigh. I don't even want these for my kids, trying to build my stash for next year's Operation Christmas Child.

    • caroline

I got mine bright and early this morning! Had no problems! THANK YOU!

    • Chef Alyson

It worked for me today in Cartersville, GA. I was surprised to see them at $9.99 though. I have been getting them between $4-$6. Anyway, I paid the $9.99 + 7% tax and came out with 4 pets. (About $2.67 each)

    • Angelia Goode

      Worked for me tonight. Thanks.

    • andrea

I went to my store today and the zhu zhu pets had a sign that said b2g1 and i used the coupon i only got 3 pets. Im sure in the paper in said b1g1 so if i go back will they give me my other pet or is it to late?

    • Guest

I just talked to customer relations @ CVS. You pay for 2, and get 3 free.

      • rachel

They couldn't figure out how to apply the coupon at my CVS (it beeped), so they ended up doing this. I paid for 2 and got 3 free.

    • Sparklecat2009

I had absolutely no issues with my transaction yesterday. I bought 4 Zhu Zhu pets and 2 of the cars and used the B2/G1 with the $4/20 and $1 ECB. Donated $1 to St Judes and the grand total was $22.50.

    • WynnDex

I used the B2/G1 coupon with the B1/G1 deal and ended up paying for 1 zhu zhu and getting the other 3 for free. I had no issues with my transaction.

    • Nichols_again

My CVS girl is also a couponer and it really helps that she is into the same thing because she can tell me exactly what I can do and not do and how to work it out to my best advantage. Bought the 4 Zhu Zhu pets today and the bag of Planters almonds for 11.00. Awesome.

    • andrea

I went to CVS and bought only got 3 b/c I was mislead buy the sticker that was posted by the zhu zhu pets that said b2g1 but the weekly paper says b1g1 i already used my coupon. If i go back what should I say to get them to give me the other zhu zhu pet?

      • jessc5

Yes! At least go ask! I did the same thing last week. I bought 2, then saw the B2G1 sign at a differant store. So I just asked the cashier if I could get my free one. I showed her my reciept and she rang up the third one for free!

Of course when I got home, Jenny had the coupon and sale for this week posted which is even better! Oh well! I can't keep up with EVERY deal….but I sure will try!!

      • acl

say you wanna talk to they DM (make them call the DM) if they not give you the zhu zhu.

    • Heather

I don't understand how this works?

    • Ifbcoupon

Went in to do what I was told, buy 1 and get 3 free. So the lady said if you just get 2 you will only have to pay tax. That is what I did, gave them .68cent and walked out with 2 pets. Not sure what she or I did but I'll take that deal!

    • Heather

WOW!!!! Went to the first store and they wouldn't let me use the coupon, so we put our stuff back and left. :) So we tried another store and we got two Kung Zhu Pets and two armours and the planters almonds, used the B2G1 coupon, the $2.50 planters coupon, and some ECBs and paid a total oop $0.55!!!!! Awesome deal!!!! Thanks a bunch Jenny for all of your time that you put into this website. :)

    • Corine

The red box spit out a coupon for one dollar off zhu zhu pets this morning so on top of the great deal I got an extra dollar off too :)

    • Holliejolly

I went to our store and the ad said b1g1 but the manager made my buy 6 Still I got 6 for 15.00 after my $5 off $30 coupon that was emailed to me. I am thinking Christmas party gifts that cost about $2.66 each. Not bad.

    • Justbamom

This deal worked for me at CVS-Rams Plaza in Chapel Hill, NC. No problems whatsoevery. Bought 1, Got 3 FREE. Used $6.00 in ECBs, so, ended up paying $3.88+tax for 4!!!!!!!

      • Justbamom

Forgot to say……..they still had tons of them left!!!!

    • Thesmithsofop

I called customer service this morning as I was not allowed to get this deal at my CVS last night. I was told that you can not use the printable coupon on top of the sale. It is only one or the other.

    • Ssalabarria

I totally rocked it at CVS today! Got 4 zhu zhu pets, 2 36 ct. Playtex tampons, 1 shave gel, 6 boxes of candy canes, and 1 Complete contact solution for $7 with all my coupons and ECB! And I made $20 in ECB back! AWESOME!

    • jmax

I went to my CVS this morning and bought 1 got 3 free. I also scanned my CVS card at the redbox machine and got a $4 off a $20 purchase. I ended up with 4 Kung Zhu pets for $6.42. SWEET!!

    • Ally B

worked easy as pie at my CVS last night! I got 4 ZuZu Pets, EOS lip gloss, and 2 boxes of candy canes for 10.99 after I used my $4 off $20 coupon. I did not get the ECB for the lip gloss but was not to worried about it since I needed it anyways.

    • ciccolellajones

I rocked this deal big time. I b1g3 zhu zhu's and used a $5 off $30, purchased a lotrimin, used my flex ben (to meet the $30), used $5 in ECB and ended up paying 24 cents out of pocket for 4 zhu zhu's. Talked the other moms in my 3rd graders class into going and getting the b1g3 deal and we are giving them to the class for Valentine's day in lieu of goody bags. Thanks for the heads up.

    • Ashleysharp

My CVS would not let me use the B2G1 coupon and the B1G1 sale! I was not happy – i argued the point that a sale and coupon are two different things, but they still wouldn't override it.

      • Gael

The fine print of the coupon says, “Coupon cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy offer.” The shoppers who are getting the B1G3 deal by combining the coupon and store deal are lucky.

    • Mgcpn22

I went to cvs last night to use this cpn and they would not let me use it at this one store and once they scanned it, it was no longer any good. Also i tried to get clearance item on nyquil….great deal .54 cent a box…i was told i couldn't use that cpn either…. i left very angry…that was a good deal…2 nyquil and box of tissue free.
mad mad mad….went to another store n got zhu with no problem except mgr had to make cpn take…contacted cust. svc and they said i could not use cpn on sale or clearance item…shock…then told me i could wait until next week for the zhu cpn and use it then…why when i can get better deal this week…ha….then they called back to say they were wrong and i could use cpn on sales and clearence. they just need to adjust cpn…also that using zhu cpn would be a double promotion but she understood what a meant when i said why did they put the cpn out if they did not want us to use it…a little justice. …good luck

    • Kiki

I went to CVS last night and attempted to get away with getting only Kung Zhu armor (sadly we have most of the hamsters). Of course the cashier told me the sale was the better deal when she had difficulty using the coupon. She called the supervisor over after I explained it and they said the B2G1 was for pets only, which I understand. The supervisor messed around with it for a bit saying he was going to make it work for me. All he ended up doing was taking $5 off, which is still a deal, but it wasn't the $9.99 off. Still, $15 for 4 armor is good, I just need to go to another CVS and hopefully exchange for the ones we don't already have.

    • Gael

Well, it looks like if you've been able to combine deals, you're really lucky, because the fine print says, “Coupon cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy offer.” That would mean we're not supposed to be able to combine the B1G1 with this coupon to make it B1G3. I'm going to try my luck and see what my local stores are doing.

    • Amy

My CVS only had a couple of the Kung Zhu pets left so I grabbed 2 of those, one of the battle armor, and the red zhu zhu pet car. I wasnt sure what would happen but when I got up there she rang them all up and the coupon didnt scan so she typed in to take off 9.99 so with tax it ended up being about $17 which I think is a great deal. I basically just had to pay for the red car and the other 3 things were free.

    • I went to one CVS and as I walked thru the door I observed the cashier giving this one lady 3 additional CVS key tags. I went and tried to get my deal on zhu zhu pets 4 for each of my children and when i got to the register one she wouldn't let me use my coupon and when i asked for an extra key tag she refused stating only one key tag per customer. When I confronted her about the 3 that she had given the lady at the door she didn't know what to say. Then she told me with a manger standing right there that she thought I was trying to rip them off and she was not going to give me the zhu zhu pets for only 10 dollars. UGH guess I made two trips in one to that CVS my first and my last and today I will attempt the transaction at another CVS so wish me luck

    • purwiggy

My local store had tons of Zhu Zhu pets, so I picked up 4, plus a Scott Paper Towels 6-pk on sale for $4.99 and a 50 cent Honey Bun as filler. I had a $5 off of $25 coupon that printed out from the coupon center during the Black Friday sale. I was able to take advantage of the BOGO Zhu Zhu sale, the B2G1 Zhu Zhu coupon, and the $$ off coupon to bring a $45.45 subtotal down to $10.48 before tax.

I walked in w/ $13.79 ($10, $3, $0.79) ECB from Black Friday. I used $10 ECB and ended up paying $1.07 OOP. I got back $1 ECB from my 4th GBT scan. So I have $4.79 ($3, $1, $0.79) ECB for next time.

    • Lindseywilder

So, I don't want to be the negative person, but I HATE our CVS in Spring Hill, TN!!! I always read about these great deals people get there & they never work for me. I tried Zhu Zhu pets deal tonight & she wouldn't take my coupon. She was totally rude too! Every time I go there, they are sold out of the “sale” items & even when I get rain checks, it takes forever to get the stuff in stock. One time, after I had been back three times with my rain check for an item, they told me they were no longer carrying it!!! UGH!! NOT worth my time anymore! Thanks for letting me vent….I feel better now! ; )

      • Mari-Anne

Complain to headquarters in Rhode Island and request that the manager contact you. It works wonders!

    • My husband and I got 4 zhu zhu pets, 2 zhu zhu babies and 2 outfits for $17 plus tax. Thanks for helping us make the most out of Christmas in a year that money is tight!

    • Deannacapitalrvsales

Great job guys! Yesterday I bought 6 zhu zhu babies (think they were $6.99 or $7.99 each) gave the cashier (2) CVS coupons buy two get one free and left paying for only one zhu zhu pet plus tax! SO BUY ONE GET FIVE FREE!!

    • Shannon C

Can you show me exactly how this works? I printed the coupon, but it seems to me that I still have to pay for two (9.98 x 2 = 19.96) to get the one free. I am confused; please help…

    • Anholland77

I went to CVS today to get my ZhuZhu pets. The store was sold out but they called two other stores and got the manager to hold them. When I got up there to pay he said that he could not use the coupon on top of the B1G1 deal. He said you can use one or the other but not both. I was really disappointed. I ended up paying $21 for 4 which is not awful but not near as good as some people did. I don't understand why all CVS stores don't have the same policy.
