Just a quick heads up that Food Lion will be tripling coupons 99 cents or less starting Wednesday 11/11 in:

College Park

(these are all outlying areas around Atlanta)

There is a limit of 20 coupons per day per card.

I will have the weekly ad deals up very soon, but for now if you are in this area go here to get the most current triples deals.  All of these deals should work for your stores (or be even better since Food Lion prices are generally lower than Harris Teeter prices!!).

Have Fun Shopping!!

Wow! Again?? And here I thought I’d take a little break for a while… Guess not!

    • big john

lol ok i am personally offended!!!!! I live in fayetteville worked in Atlamta for 30 years. Live in fayetteville why ? safer and do ya really want to live it atlanta? but OUTLYING? HOLD ON BRB GOTTA GO TO THE OUTHOUSE.

      • Caroline Simmons

LOL Big John! I live in Decatur and I travel to Fayetteville weekly so you’re not soooooooooooooooooooo outlying — but I did see some outhouses down there! ROFL!

      • Jenny

        You crack me up!

        • JenB

I see the info for the deals and the printable versions of the coupons. But, maybe I am missing something. If the coupons specifically say not to double or triple then it wont work. And, wouldn’t any thing be a good deal if they are tripling whatever coupon you have that is under $1.00?? Or do they only triple the items that were listed?

          confused jenB

          • ET

My experience has been that FL triples them even when it says “Do Not Double or Triple”

            • heather

if the coupons first number under the barcode is a 5 then it will double or triple.

      • Heather

Now. I live in outlying…..Waleska. 5 miles north of Canton which is in the foothills of the mountains. THAT’S outlying! My brother in law calls this Bucksnort, GA…LOL

    • Cathy

Wow! Let’s see… Dallas is about 2 hrs from me…. would say ‘road trip’, but wouldn’t be quite worth it for only 20 q’s. Oh well, I’d just be happy if ours would double. :(

      Thanks Jenny!

      • Brenda

yeah, I live in Dallas and I can tell you by tomorrow night the shelves will be empty

        • Natalie

I live in Dallas too, got up and was there by 8:45 and it was already surprisingly busy. I am going back tomorrow, hope something will be left.

    • lovingaunt

When I saw Central GA I got excited but the cities you listed are in North GA! Central GA is Macon, Warner Robins, Dublin, etc.

      • lol, yeah you’re right…i’m from macon but now live in metro atl, and this is north ga!

    • John

Here in ATL,it’s often referred to as OTP….outside the perimeter.

      • big john

        I prefer LA

        • big john

    • Mitch

Ya, she should say all those cities are OTP, haha. Thats def what my friends and I say.

Either way, Im excited and will be taking some new couponers with me that have never done this but have been envying the receipts I have been posting from Publix on my Facebook page! Haha. Thanks Jenny!

    • Sarah R

I am so thankful that I am less than a mile from the Dallas store since you can only use 20 coupons a day. :)

    • Cindy

This 3x’s includes Jonesboro GA store also.

      • big john

yea was wondering about that foodlions are popping up faster then acne on a teenagers face around here.

      • is the jonesboro store opened off tara blvd?

    • Robin

Do they take Internet coupons or just the ones from the paper? I know some stores are funny about this. Publix is great and takes just about everything at their Fairburn,Ga store. Moving near Huntsville,AL soon. I hope it is the same there!!

      • ET

        The Fairburn store is great!

Yes, FL even triples IP coupons, at least that has been my experience. Like I posted in another thread, I had managers at two of the Newnan Publix tell me they won’t double any coupons that say Do Not Double or Triple, which many of the IP coupons say now. This has changed my shopping strategy and between Fl tripling and Kroger having the mega sales and doubling ANY coupons 50 cents and less, I am going to Publix much less now! I love our local FL and it is sooo much closer than Publix.

    • Robin

Dawsonville,Ga and Sargent ,Ga is also on the list. I just got the ad in today’s mail

    • Brandy

do you know if triples will be done at dawsonville, ga too?

      • Robin

It should they have that one listed in the sales paper.

    • Shirley

Question….I am pretty new at this and when I click on most current triple deals it takes me to Harris Teeter’s triple deals….are the Food Lion triple deals that start tomorrow up yet and I am just missing it somehow? Thanks so much for your help! :-)

    • Alyson

I am still recovering from the last triples! I am soooo excited. When I got the ad, I immediately started looking for the $.75 coupons. My aunt is coming to town this weekend and we will be making multiple trips. Fortunately for me I live between Fayetteville and Newnan, short trips! And yes, we are OTP and loving it.

    • Brittney

wish they were doubling in Rome!

    • Rebecca

Does the register do it automatically, or do they all have to be hand entered the 3rd time (like Ingles does)? Just curious, TIA!

      • Melissa

It’s automatic up to the regular price of the item. So if tripling will give you overage because of a sale, you’ll get it if the regular price is more than the tripled value. If the regular price is less than the tripled value, you’ll only get that much.

The register goes fast, too. It may look like it is only doubling. The coupon will scan face value first, then it will show the double value.

        • I got overage with the tripling

          • sorry, i got overage on some item, but the tuna coupons gave me the item free

    • Rachel

Went to the Dallas store today. Got a TON of stuff for just $19! My friend and I are going to the Carrollton store tomorrow. Can’t wait. Who knew grocery shopping could be so fun!

    • ElaineHN

Has anyone matched up any of the 11/15 coupons to good deals at Food Lion with triples?

I haven’t been to FL since Sunday, but I see a few that look promising … I just don’t know the FL prices … so I’ll have to wait till i check at the store to know for sure.
