food lion here in the summerville, goose creek, moncks corner areas they don't double coupons.

    • LD

Does any one know of any Cat deals food lion is doing now? I have not been following FL deals lately. But looks like I will go this week. Good price on the lunch meat and Libbys veggies and of course the ice cream . If anyone knows the price of the Tuna would you please post ?

      • emandrusty

I am getting ready to go to FL, I can check, which kind are you looking for, just the Starkist one that is on sale?

        • LD

yes just the starkist that is on sale Thanks !

          • emandrusty

            It was $1.15 in Charlotte.

            • LD

              Thank you !

    • Amy B.

I was shocked to find the Food Lion on St. Andrews Road in Irmo closed down!

      • Wow, I never knew! We drive by there all the time.

      • Jen

I know! I just turned into the parking lot to go tonight and it was gone!

    • Bette

I'm new to couponing and shopped at FL last week and tried to use two of the same (but different date) coupons on one item and they wouldn't take it. I wasn't sure if this was the no double coupon rule?? Can you clarify, someone? Thanks

      • LD

If you tried to use 2 manufactures coupons on one item that was the problem . If they do double you give one coupon per item and they double that coupon. No store takes 2 manfactures coupons on 1 item. If you are buying 2 items like a B1g1 free most stores will let you use 2. Most stores will let you use 1 store coupon and 1 manufactures coupon for 1 item. Some like Publix will even take a competitors coupon [store coupon] . HTH . If you were buying 2 items and they didnt take the coupon , I would ask the manager for clarification on the stores coupon policy .

        • Bette

Thank you! Such a huge help.

    • Kris

Hard to get excited about FL when they don't double any coupons……..

      • leigh

ours has terrible customer service. i hate going, but if there's a killer deal i bite the bullet.

    • Tanay

    • Tanay

    • qponing09

      • DeDe

I would like to find the B2G1 Starbucks tearpads in Columbia, SC.

        • nik

    • Erin B.

still can't find the smithfield bacon IP. can anyone help me with a zip code? Thanks.

    • tarabell

Hey! I was at the Food Lion in Lexington, SC this morning and I was told by the Meat Manager that they misprinted the sale on the roast. Instead of 1.98 per lb it is 1.88 per lb! Also, the Vanity plates are on close out for $1.67!

    • Julie

I am not normally a Food Lion shopper and am new to couponing, but the Food Lion in Smyrna, Tenn. had many unadvertised deals like Michelina's frozen meals-10 for $10 and many of the pet food products(Alpo, Chef Micheals and Ceasars) on sale. Also, on the B1G1-only charged half of sale price for one item.

    • JEB

The Healthy Choice Soup is $1 on sale and there is a Q for it on the Save a Lot website for $1 off 4 cans. Also some other good manufacturer Qs…

    • Michelle

I was all ready to get the tuna, when I realized the coupon is for solid white tuna. I don't think this is the same as chunk light tuna. Any opinions? If it doesn't work, and the B1G1 food lion price is really $1.15, then it would be cheaper to get the tuna that is on sale at Kroger this week (at 50 cents a can).

      • Linda

It works for the chunk light, too. I just bought 6 cans which rang up at 1.09 minus .55 each, and then the coupons (I had two) for B2G1 subtracted off 1.09 each! So I just got 6 cans of tuna for 18.6 cents each!

    • Ell

Is the B1G1 on the Lando Lakes butter only spreadable varieties or are the sticks of butter on sale too?

      • Michelle

I was wondering that, too…It would be a great deal on stick butter!

        • Linda

In my FL in Lexington, VA it's only the spreadables.

    • jfmiller82

how do i get the coca-cola coupon? when to the web site and was totally lost. please help, free coke can't get any better than that.

      • MissB

me too – i drink diet coke like no body's business and i'm jones'n for the q – some one direct us – thanks!!

    • LD

When you get to the recycle bank you need an acct. Not sure how many points you get now to sign up [they seem to be going down on those points] then you go to get rewards then scroll down [left side of page] to food and grocery. find the coke ones not sure they may be under drinks and not sure what they are charging in points for it now . I hear it used to be 10 points lol.

      • jfmiller82

thanks for the help just logged in and they gave me 40 points for signing up but the coupon was for 50 points. Total bummer but it was worth the try.

        • triciaj

After you register, click on “earn points” on the home page, then sign up for the Ebay green team- gives you 50 more points. But the coupon is not printable, they will mail it to you.

    • JEB

I was not too excited about Publix or Bilo sale this week, but I think this Food Lion sale was good. I saved more than I spent. Smithfield pork tenderloins are BOGO in the store, but not in the ad, so that was a nice surprise. The price on Princess Spaghettios is .75 cents now…think they lowered some prices for real like they advertised. They are .88 cents at Walmart. Valentine princess and the frog and Disney Princess window clings are 50% off. Plus the new Lexington FL by Steinmart has the little shopping carts for my 3 year old to push! She loved it and made the trip easier. They were out of the Libby Canned veggies for .39 cents, but I got rain checks.

Got 2 Blue Bunny ice cream for .88 each with coupon
4 Healthy Choice soups for $3 with coupon
      2 spaghettios for .75 each
      1 Tostitos for $2
1 frozen bag of chicken breasts for $6.50
2 smithfield teriyaki pork tenderloins for $7.99 with coupon
four 2 liter cokes for .85 each
1 boneless chuck roast for about $4
1 Princess and Frog window cling for .99 cents

    • LD

The FL in North Florida had the Land O Frost Bristro favorites { I chose craked pepper beef ]on sale B1G1 at 3.59 so I got 4 and used the $2 coupons . Which means I got overage on each one ! I have not tried this Luch meat before but figure now is a good time to give it a try. It just happend that the cashier did not ring my card up till the end of our order.

Ours was also out of the Libys Veggies but they sub. Green Giant instead . So all in all I did ok with my short FL trip . Would have gotten more icecream but they only had chocolate left , they seemed to be low on lots of the sale items or out completly .

    • Thanks for all of the comments….some of us like to shop on Saturday on into Tuesday late in the sale.

My choices might be limited by then but I have three FL locations if I really want a certain flavor they are out of. The thing of it is, the rest of you do the homework for some of us and by reading your notes I know the true deals and what to look out for.

Blessings to all that share and take their time to post! I often make reference and relink to this site on my blog!

    • Tisha in SC

I went to FL today & was able to get 8 cans of Alpo dog food for $2. They have a sale of B4 for $3 so 8 cans=$6 less $2 FLIP less $1 manu coupon off 6 cans & dig this when u buy 8 cans you get a $1 catalina back so final price..$2 so that makes it about 25 cents per can. Also I was able to get Beggin Strips 2 for $1. They are on sale 2/$6 less $2 FLIP less BOGO manu coupon..final price…$1. My dog loves me.

    • Diana

My store has Nut Clusters on sale 2 for $4. With a $1 off coupon that's only a $1!

    • Erin

Don't know if it is all the stores but FL in Youngsville, NC had a special display of FL brand Trix and Cocoa Pebbles for $1 a piece!!! Any box of cereal for a dollar is a good deal!

    • wnblyons

My FL is advertising save $10 when you buy 10 breakfast products. I have a coupon for cereal and just happen to need a few of teh other things, but am new to coupons, is this a good deal?

    • courtneydodd

My FL had ground beef on sale for 2.79/lb. Normally it's 3.29 I think.

    • utgirl4life

So I went to FL tonight and saved $74.35. I spent $89, but I had to get some meat and things that were not on sale. I am ecstatic! I got a ton of groceries for hardly anything at all!!! They had Mueller's spaghetti on sale 2/$1, and I had a coupon for $0.55/2= $0.45 on 2 (small)boxes of spaghetti! They also had Uncle Ben's rice on sale 10/$10. I had 2 coupons: one was $1/1 and the other was $1/2, so I only paid $1 for 3 boxes! Progresso was also on sale 10/$10; I had a coupon for $1.10/3… so I only ended up paying $1.90 on 3 cans of progresso. This is the best I've ever done & it's addicting! I cant wait to go again!!!
