This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

Here are the deals at Food Lion that start tomorrow 4/01. There are a few good deals this week.

If you see anything I missed let me know! Check out the current printable coupons before shopping. New printables are up.  I have never seen so many things on sale have printables that match!  I might have to eat my words about not shopping in Food Lion…

1. Check with your local store about B1G1 items. Ask “Are you required to buy 2, or will they each ring up at half price?”
2. Most Food Lion stores do not double coupons.
3. If you do a B1G1 deal, use 2 coupons if they will let you.
4. You can stack a FL printable or other store coupon with manufacturers coupons.

Hi, I just wanted to say that Duncan Hines cake mix was an unadvertised sale at my Kroger this week in SE KY for 10/10 and so with the .35 coupon it was .30 after. I’m sure it may be different elsewhere but it is worth checking on.
Thanks for all your deals every week,

      • Jenny

I agree. I don’t even recommend shopping at Food Lion unless you have to, but I try to cover all the stores in my city so I’ll list the deals. Not doubling coupons though, there has to be a pretty good deal to get me inside a FL. (Haven’t been in one in almost a year).

    • Julie

In the Red Plum flyer that comes with the mail on Tuesdays in my area, there were some FL paper coupons that may come in handy at Publix sometime this month… Maybe there the same as the FL printables; I haven’t checked. They are:
$1 off Mr. Clean Spray, Wipes, Liquid 40 oz, or Magic Eraser except trial size
$2 off any Swiffer Starter Kit, WetJet, Wetjet solutions, Wetjet pads, wet or dry basic Swiffer refills, or Duster kit, except trial size
$1 off Febreze Fabric Refresher, Air Effects, Candle, Auto, Noticeables Plug-in, or Noticeables refills except trial size or travel size
      All expire 4/30/09

    • Julieann

Thanks, Jenny. I may make a run to FL this week!

    • Mary

      Were there any FLIPS?

    • Jenny,

I used the FLIP at Publix for the $2 off $5 Deli for the Oscar Myer Deli meats yesterday because they were 2 for 6 and the Mfg coupon so I paid $3! Id rather pay $1 more at Publix than go to Food Lion! How sad is that! :)

    • Jenni

hi there! I was just wondering if anyone else was having trouble printing the Lean Cuisine Coupon. I tried it several times last night at my home computer and have now tried it twice on two separate computers today at work. Everytime I try it tells me I need to install the printer (which I already have on all the computers). Then as it is installing it tells me that it needs to be updated and when I click to update it says that the installation is complete. The problem is it just takes me back to the original page saying I need to download the special coupons.com printer. I’m not especially technologically savvy but I cant figure out what Im doing wrong! Anyone else having the same problem or have any ideas that might help? I would appreciate any advice you might have! :)

    • Crystal

I have not had problems with that particular coupon but have had problems exactly what you described (Jenni) on other various coupons. Does any one know when the Food Lion coups are going to change today? I have been waiting all day!

    • Amy

$1 off $5 meat purchase? Will Publix take the coupon for “Butcher’s Brand? What is that? Is it just for “meat market” items? Thanks for clearing it up!

      • Jenny

Butcher’s Brand is a Food Lion store brand for their beef, Publix will take it off any beef purchase.

    • I noticed that the Capri Sun coolers were on sale for $2 at the end of your list and there is also a FL coupon for $1 off. I noticed you had all the other FL coupons in bold that were on sale this week. Is the item on sale and the coupon the same thing?
BTW, thank you, thank you, thank you for all the work you do. I save my family ALOT of money each week with the help of your site. I was telling a friend today that I don’t know what I would do if something happened to your site.

      • Jenny

I do try to bold the coupons that you will want to use this week to make it easier to find them in the list. I think the caprisun coupons expired mid march unless you know of a new one. Sorry.

    • shannon

just wanted to add that in Richmond VA area FL’s there are $.55 Pop-Tart blinkies. no limit. enjoy!

    • Melissa

I am not able to open the Food Lion Printable Comments…is anyone else having that problem…It keeps saying page not found

      • Jenny

I fixed it I think. Was it just the link at the top of the post or were you having problems with all the links to the FL printables?

    • What can I do to get Red Plum or one of the other flyers at my house?

    • Wendy

Just got back from FL. The Stride gum is on sale for $.79 if anyone still has some $2/3 coupons.

    • Pete

Just wanted to make everyone aware that if you actually go through the selection process (On the FL website) of the -$3 wyb Chicken and 2 sides deal, the coupon will change to just $3 off $10 Bakery/Deli, doesn’t expire until end of year.

This is a good way to take advantage of their BOGO Deli meat specials with out even having to do the chicken, or do a combo of Deli and Bakery. Not as good as $2 off $5 but may come in handy. Would be a good post.

    • sarah

when you sign up to print the blue bunny coupon, if not already a member of the iscream team, they will also e-mail you a welcome coupon for 1.00 off any one blue bunny frozen item…which you can print twice!! Can’t wait for some cheap ice cream!! COME ON FRIDAY!!

    • Shirley Hall

What is the “$120 savings rebate booklet” you refer to so often? Love all you are doing! Thanks.

    • Marie

When you go to print the blue bunny coupon from your email, you can choose in your printer options to print as many as you’d like. Mine kept on printing :)

    • Edie

Went to my FL store this morning and found out that they are not participating in a 2 day sale. Talked to the manager and she mentioned that they are in a different zone (21 in my area). The only item that is on sale is Stefano’s Take and Bake pizza. I am going to call the corporate and give them a pice of my mind.

    • Megan

Please tell me why I cannot print the printables. I have tried at two different home computers, then came to my work computer and it won’t work on any of them. I install the coupon printer each time like it asks, but it continues to take me through the loop of installing the coupon printer without ever printing the coupon. Any ideas or suggestsions?

    • sarah

Marie – That will be a good coupon to hold on to, but my store is strict on limits & there is a limit of 4 for this deal. :( I was able to stock up on 4 cartons for only 3.96!!

Also wanted to add that I went to FL this morning. Got 1 box of nilla wafers 3.99 (BOGO rang up 2.00 – FLIP for 1.00=1.00…but it gets better, on the nilla wafers there was a peelie for free bananas up to .55…so I got cheap bananas too!!! Now to make the banana puddin!!!

Problems printing Bricks coupons? This may fix your problem!
So, everyone uses different browsers, from IE to FireFox to Safari.

Sometimes people paste Coupons.com/Bricks links that they recieved in FireFox, which do not work in Internet Explorer or vice versa. You get the “Please wait…” or “Please Install The Coupon Printer” even if you already did.

This trick will allow you to simply change 2 characters in the URL to make a FireFox link work in Internet Explorer and vice versa

Here’s how easy it is, the following is a FireFox link:

note the “wg” in the URL. This link gives the repeating Please Install The Coupon Printer in Internet Explorer.

To make that link an Internet Explorer link we simply change “wg” to “wi” OR “vi” (in this case, both variations work, other coupons it may be wi or vi, trial and error):

UPDATE: If you want to print Bricks coupons on a MAC with Safari, replace the “wg”, “wi”, or “vi” to “xs”. You can also do the reverse, take a Safari link “xs” to IE “wi” or “vi” or to FireFox “wg”.

You do the opposite if you want to print an Internet Explorer link in FireFox!

PS. I changed http to hxxp so you guys can see the full URL without the forum code making it a clickable link.

    • kelly

Thank you for teaching how to change the brick coupons. Great information!!!

    • I am new to this site but SO appreciate all your research. At my FL today, though, they had no idea what 2-day sale I was talking about. Wasn’t on the add, none of the prices were right. Frustrating. Anyone know if that’s regional or something?

      • Jenny

Sorry about the frustration. If it wasn’t in your ad, then it was definitely regional. It was on the front page of our ad. I will have to start checking various zip codes and ads…

    • Shirley

I am from a rural area and do not have alot of options when it comes to grocery shopping. There are two Food Lions within 10 miles of my home and a Walmart. Until 6 weeks ago I did most of my shopping at Walmart because they will at least match Food Lions prices if there is something on sale. I decided to try to get the $20 gift card for the ham at Food Lion. It required spending at least $45 for 6 of 8 weeks. I had not found your site the first week & spent OOP $147(saved $54). I was already using coupons a little. The next 4 weeks I averaged spending OOP $46-69(saved average $12-27).Week 6, I spent OOP $95(saved $44)I stocked up on the $.99 ice cream and pepsi products. I had not used internet coupons except food lion ones because I had seen a sign in one of the stores stating that they did not accept them. I emailed corporate & their reply was that they do accept them. I went in with the email ready if needed but it was not needed. I did make a second trip to the other store & got 4 ice creams, 3 kraft cheese & 2 chips for $12 OOP. I am learning but my options are limited. I have enough receipts now to get my gift card so I will probably go back to Walmart. I am having problems working CVS,Wags & Rite Aid. I’m spending too much OOP. I dropped off 4 refills to transfer at Rite Aid today, so I’ll get 4 $25 gift cards when I pick them up. Hope that will help me get started better at Rite Aid. I never get any of the $4 or $5 off $20 from CVS and Wags always messes up my checkout and Q’s have been put in the drawer by the time I realize it. Makes it difficult to go back and check after the fact. I want to thank you for all your help. I’ll eventually get the hang of this. I long for the day when I can get $100 for less than $25.

    • Hollis

There is a $4 rebate available if you buy Disney’s Bolt and 1 Ronzoni product. The form and rules can be found at http://ronzonismarttaste.newworldpasta.com/bolt/bolt_rebate.cfm. Photocopies of receipts can be used. I bought Bolt during the Target deal with Lilo and Stitch a couple of weeks ago, and I used a .55/1 Blinkie from Food Lion to buy a small box of spaghetti noodles. I’m so glad I keep all my receipts!

I looked at the FL BabySteps page and the baby care coupons still say the same thing they did before but I clicked on the Formula and baby Food ones and they have changed if you want to check it out. The news are 1.00 off any Beechnut food and 1.00 off any 3 gerber foods. Not as good for me this month since I cleaned out Publix on Graduates turkey sticks last month at .37 a jar! yay.
