Here are the deals at Food Lion starting tomorrow 6/3.  This is a very slow week for Food Lion so hopefully tomorrow’s printable coupons will make it a little better.  The 2 day sale items, you really want to wait for your Sunday paper if you are planning to get any of these and don’t have the PG rebate booklet.

1. Check with your local store about B1G1 items. Ask “Are you required to buy 2, or will they each ring up at half price?”
2. Most Food Lion stores do not double coupons.
3. If you do a B1G1 deal, use 2 coupons if they will let you.
4. You can stack a FL printable or other store coupon with manufacturers coupons.

It’s hard to justify your gas to get to a Food Lion…think I’ll pass…they need to double coupons…

    • crystal

The winner’s cirlce book didin’t just hit the Charlotte area, I live right next to Greenville, NC on the eastern side of the state, and some of my friends and myself recieved the books, although I agree with the comment above they need to double coupons!! I usually get better deals elswhere.

    • Heather

I usually end up skipping Food Lion. You do such much better at a store that actually doubles coupons. I get more excited to see the Bi-Lo deals! :) When does that typically get posted?

    • Jessica

I also wish FL doubled. However, the one thing I can always count on at my local Food Lion is FANTASTIC meat markdowns…it is my go-to!!!

    • Lorie

Yes, Jesssica I agree with you that Food Lion has excellent meat markdowns. I have also figured out that my local Food Lion usually marks meat down on Tuesday evenings – he was doing it tonight when I was shopping, so of course, I went back there and stocked up! I got 4 packages of Butter Ball Turkey Italian Sausage for 1.25 each – very excited about that!!

    • Kay

Lorie what area are you in? I would love to go there on markdown days since they just built a new one right up the street from me.

    • Mina

I stopped in FL this evening and came out with 16 pack mixture of peanut M&M’s, Skittles, Twix bars, & Snickers; 10 lbs of boneless Smithfield country ribs; 5 pkgs of Gwaltney hotdogs; and turkey bacon for a grand total of $15 with a $3 off purchase of $30 catalina.

It’s the one store in the area where the BOGO candy combined w/the BOGO coupon made them free, and it was the last day of that promo. I had to use the last of my q’s to best advantage. I came out of the store happy.

    • Jenny-
Food Lion Peanut Butter 18 oz $1.89
-$1 off any Food Lion Peanut Butter printable (makes it .49¢ ea)
      would that be 89cents?

      Comments 1-7
I am pretty much a FL FAN even though DOUBLE would be great, FL is on the way everywhere in my house and the management staff is great with my Q’s. I often do Field Trips for my coupon classes in there and they don’t have any issues with it being done…

    • If anyone needs a WINNERS CIRCLE I have tons of them…in Rock Hill, SC right outside of Charlotte.

    • Jenny please take off the “Many of these have buy 4 get 1 free tags” that was FANTA this week…thanks for all you do.

      Blinkie Alert.

The Ladson Rd FL in S’ville has $0.75/1 blinkies for the Pasta al Dente in Frozen foods. They are $2 this week so good to get if you don’t have any coupons but want to get some. Coupons expire 6/22 so best to use for this sale. Love these for a quick “mommy lunch” .

    • I just played the guiding stars game again on the FL site and got a $2 off FL Chicken breasts, tenders, or snack wings Q good through 6/16. The breasts are BOGO at 12.99 for 2.5 lb bag. Using the Q that makes it about 1.79 per lb which is great for the quick frozen breasts. Plus, buy 3 other FL items and you’ll get a catalina since it’s FL brand.

    • I see a lot of $4 off 40 coupons printing…yeah not that I ever spend that much, but it starts out that high so I will use with subtotal before MVP and coupons. I was in the store and it was slow and only one register while talking to cashier was bagging groceries and giving coupons to customers based on what they had in there buggy and two of the MEN gave me th $4 off $40 coupon…pretty good for bagging a few groceries for FREE..I made $8 for about 15 minutes of work!!! LOL

    • Tyson…deal use the store coupon plus the Tyson 5/10, 5/31 going by on way to pick up kids from school…also I think there is a $4 off one meal that may or may not be on sale that the store Q should be able to be used?

    • Lynn

I just wished the the Food Lion here in Emporia,VA would take the coupons from online. They claim that FOod Lion doesn’t accept them.LOL!!!!

    • That is not true…it can be verified through corporate 704-633-8250. I just left and purchased the Deli Fresh Oscar Mayer turkey meat 2/$5 they had $1 off each one so 2/$3, Voila dinners BOGO Free $4.99 had $1/1 coupons, the FL Chicken breasts BOGO Free @$13.00 minus $2 FLIP + $2 FLIP a few other items…Jimmy Dean breakfast bows $1.99 -$1 coupons, Aunt Jemima breakfast meals $2.99- $1/2 picked up a few other items total $88+. Minus two $4 off $40.00 purchase (gave before MVP or coupons), -coupons, now MVP card total $23.00. And this time my husband will not say I got a lot of cabinet food, but this time I brought FREEZER and FRIDGE Food.

    • Be sure and read above comment so you understand my DRAMA. Hubby left FRIDGE open last night….so all those FRIDGE items are no good now. Back from the store did ok…would like to have done better.

    • Sharon

OK, ck closeouts!!! Got to love those matched with coupons, I’m in SC (Columbia). Went today for the pampers deal with my 2.00 off coupons, got
      Gerber babyfood 25 each x4= 1.00 -.75 = 25 cent
      gerber grad. apples 1.49 – .75= 75 cents
      Excedrin 1.99 – 1.00 = (99cent),
Blink eye drops 10.80 reg. on close out for 5.40 and had 4 off coupons making them 1.40!!!!
      Got 2 B hair styler 2.64-2.00= .64
      Chinet plates 2/4.00 – 2 1.00 off = 2.00 (1.00 pack for CHINET)
      OH FREE Chocolate bars YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      Bic Soleil Razors 4.49 – 3.00 = 1.49
      Lots of GREAT Closeouts

    • Julie

I agree that FL would only be better if they doubled coupons. HOWEVER, I have never been to my FL and left without multiple fabulous deals. I find tons of close-out items. The employees are super helpful, too!

    • Kelly Grant

The Kraft Easy Mac cups are 3/$3 with the printable $1/2 that makes them $.50 each.

    • nancy

I feel you Travis. Don’t be so hard on the hubby. Take the day off and relaxe. I have a one year old that is learning how to open the fridgerator. I am going to duck tape it!!! or something. lol
