my food lion matches competitor's coupons — publix yellow advantage $.55 off Jif!! Woo hoo!! PB for $.90!!

      • Charlestonmom

Does anyone know if Charleston area Food Lions also honor competitor coupons?

        • The one on Ashley Phosphate does not.

        • Jen

The West Ashley and Ladson Food Lion stores do not accept competitor coupons : (

    • miatd

so…called my food lion in smyrna tn…and asked…”can you use a fl coupon and a manuf q on the same item…” his response….”ugh , i dont know for sure”..and dead silence…..wow…i am so ready to take fl off the list….but i got such a great deal last week…whats a couponer to do…lol THANKS SO MUCH JENNY FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR US

      • Danae

If it's the same fl I've been to, I understand. They were not helpful and all seemed unhappy. I tried to be super nice and was still treated poorly. :( I usually go to the one in Murfreesboro.

    • crystalt

I went to Food Lion yesterday and they had the Clorox Green Works laundry detergent marked down to half price because they were discontinuing it. That made it about $4.46. If you have any of the $3 q's for that you can score some really cheap laundry detergent!

      • miatd

was state are you in ……

      • Chrstyamyrs

My FL's here in Jacksonville, NC have all Green Works on closeout.

      • Susan

Do any of you have good experiences with the Green Works products? I tried their window cleaner once and wasn't impressed.

        • Jennifer C.

I love their liquid cleaner, just a little bit with water goes a long way. I really enjoyed the clothes detergent also, it left a good smell in the clothes. I was thinking the other day that I would buy these products if they weren't so high priced. They only way I would buy them is at the closeout price. They'd be smart to reconsider their pricing.

      • sarahinNC

where are these $3 qs? thanks!

      • New2Qs

Same here, but I only found the greenworks stain remover down from 3.99 to 1.69. Paired with a man q it made for a great deal!

      • BJUMOM

Our Food Lion had theirs marked down and I tried to purchase 2 bottles and use 2- $3 off coupons but they would not accept them. Said that they were on the “fraudulent list” and they were printed in color and came straight from the Greenworks website.

    • RobinB78

Where might one get the Coca-Cola Enjoy Summer booklets?

    • Susan

Yet another week where Food Lion's sale is more of what I need than Harris Teeter. HT needs to do triples and release a good sale or I may have to switch.

    • Lara

Does anyone know if Augusta, GA is considered part of the Atlanta region (the benefits of matching competitor's coupons and doubling up to .60)?

      • Fgavent

When I shopped in North Augusta, SC a few weeks ago, my coupons did not double. You probably want to call your local store and ask.

    • Elisa

-$1/2 King's Hawaiian products excluding 4 pack dinner rolls in RP 6/27

    • Elisa

-$1/1 twelve pack or more of Scott Extra Soft Bath Tissues Double Rolls exp 7/31 kimberly Clark man q. Don't know from where but I have two from the paper not printed so I suspect Smart Sorce

    • jblove

I am so very disgusted with Food Lion! Everytime I shop there with coupons, there is a problem. I try very hard to make sure I'm doing everything correctly according to their stingy coupon policy. But it never fails that something goes wrong and they won't accept at least one of my coupons. I went yesterday and they had the Perdue Perfect Portions marked down to $6.29, so I grabbed two bags. The Manager would not accept my $2 off coupons!! She said that they have a book of fraudulent coupons and those were one of them. THEY CAME DIRECTLY FROM PERDUE'S WEBSITE! I understand being cautious, but Food Lion is just plain greedy. They are so afraid of losing a dollar that they are going to end up losing a lot more because of customers like me, who are not willing to put up with their lack of coupon knowledge. Good-Bye Food Lion, Harris Teeter has now gained your half of my grocery budget.

      • ambrayulin

I have the same trouble w/ Food Lion and only shop there when I absolutely have to! FL is the only grocery store in town where I live, so I usually drive 20 minutes down the road to other stores I prefer. They are building a Publix across the street from our FL now… Publix is so great, I'm sure they will put FL out of business! Too bad FL never caught on to good customer service.

        • The one on Johnston Rd in Charlotte, NC is the same way. I've been told before that they don't accept any internet coupon. While I was shopping there regularly, the coupon policy changed from week to week – now I very seldom ever shop there.

    • Jamie

Will Food Lion let you stack a store & manu. coupon on one product?

    • Fgavent

Does anyone know if the Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn, 2-4 pk., B1G1 includes the cheese flavored? Or does it include the gourmet popping corn? Thanks!

      • Rachel

Yes it does include the cheese flavored. Bought it today :)

    • guest

curious about the diaper deal. the store coupon says no other coupon may be used with this coupon so I would take that to mean you can not stack with a manufacture coupon??

      • Rachel

I have heard through some lucky people, their specific Food Lion will stack. My Food Lion goes by the fine print on the coupon. Some Food Lion Internet Printable (FLIP) won't say “no other coupon may be used with this coupon” and then you are free to stack w/ manf coupon. I would call your local FL. Hope this helps!

      • Lacasa99

Was worried about that yesterday. The way the FL coupon was worded made it sound like NO other coupon. Gave the store and manufacter coupon and was good. Didn't have 4 store coupons for each diaper just one…didn't want to push it since it said one per person

    • If you sign up for Food Lion's text savings you can add more savings to your MVP card. Text “clubfl” to 467467 to sign up. Through 8/1 you can text “babysteps” to 467467 to receive $5 off $15 purchase of baby items. With the 3 day sale $7.99 diapers with other coupons this will be an awesome deal on some diapers!

    • Mary Ellen

I went for the 3 day sale and did really well, considering it was Food Lion. They let me stack my coupons for diapers, so I used my FL 1.50 coupons and also used the 3.00 Huggies coupon Jenny just posted last week and also used my 1.50 for Pamers FL coupon and 2.00 PG coupon. There was no limit posted so I got one of each, Great deals, I ended up getting 60 dollars worth of groceries for 30 which is hard to do at FL for me.

    • Clairebear

Heads up, I went to the FL in Lawrenceville to do the cereal deal= 4 boxes for 1.60 :) and found that they have whole fryers for .47 a lb. Stumbled upon the coupon kiosk (quite literally) and got a 3 off of 30, which doesn't seem like much but I handed it over before my other coupons~ after qs I did pretty good…oh yeah btw they have these little scratch off tickets that you get for buying certain things that give you prizes too!

    • Madpaulmom

Mueller's pastas are $4/4 (the pound size) with a blinkie for $2/5 any Mueller's pasta. Got 3 boxes of thin spaghetti and 2 elbow macaroni for $3. Not too bad.
