I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, GrabPenny.com

    • Awesome! Thx!

    • Allie in SC

The Bloom store in Seneca/Clemson is now a FOOD LION! *yay!* :) Does anyone have any info on this store?? Is it open yet? Are they coupon-friendly? Thanks in advance for any info.

      • Amanokurosawa

I live in Spartanburg SC, and we have Food Lion stores around here. They will only accept one coupon per item, you cant do 1 store coupon and 1 manufacturer coupon on 1 item. I tried doing that last week and the cashier told me that, so I asked to talk to a manager and they said the same thing. Anyway they are sort of coupon-friendly.

        • Nikki

The FL closest to me said the same thing…absolutely no stacking.

      • amberleigh

I hate hate hate the fact that the bloom here turned into a stinkin food lion! When I asked them about this they told me that they were going to stop selling all of the Angus! It infuriated me so I am calling cooperate, the hubby is not a happy camper either so I think we will be avoiding that store now. It also saddens me that they don't double coupons :(

        • Lisa

I so agree with you!  I really liked our Bloom store and the fact that they doubled coupons up to .99.  It was so convient and I am really wondering how they are going to compete with Publix and Bilo which are on the same street here in Anderson SC.  I know that unless there is some awsome deal or I need bread or milk, I won't be shopping at Food Lion.  Funny part about that is it is less than half a mile away from me, but I'm willing to drive a little further to save money.  Gas is high this is true, but what I can save at Publix and Bilo way more than makes it worth the drive!

          • Nikki

I'm curious to see how well Food Lion will fare around here, too, without doubling. I liked that Bloom carried some “specialty' items that catered to my wheat and dairy allergies. I stopped by the Bloom/Food Lion on West Georgia Rd in Simpsonville yesterday just to grab a quick item on my way home. What a crazy mess! I couldn't hardly find what I came in for because they were rearranging the shelves. Whole shelves are cleared off right now. I left my mvp card in my car so I was going to use my phone number. The register wouldn't accept it because “the number was connected to my Bloom card,” Well yeah, I used the same number for both. I'm not a fan of Food Lion much anyways (though I keep checking the weekly deals hoping for something good) but I will definitely be avoiding the new FLs for awhile until the transition is over.

          • Jacketfan24

Me too!  I'm in Greer and our Bloom just transitioned.  I used to buy all my meat at Bloom because it was superior to Bilo and Publix, and I loved the doubling of coupons.  I will give it a try but I do wonder how they will do in an area that has a LOT of other choices for doubling.  I don't even have to drive farther to get to the other two stores.

          • This is sooo sad to hear about! We learned about Bloom a month ago when we went to Virginia Beach. I was so excited because we were about to be moving closer to one. The guy at the register said oh we are just like Food Lion. I said, “Yeah right, you have way more organic stuff, way more of everything, double to .99 everyday and my Food Lion does not double at all!”

Now I am seeing a bunch of people saying Bloom is becoming Food Lion. Why are they doing this? This is counterproductive for business and shoppers alike. Aye!

    • Catherine Taylor

tyvm!  FYI, the Aunt Jemima fb coupons are printing $1/1!  makes it <$0.50!

      • Jessdare101

how long did it take the video to load? mine's taking forever. I hope the coupon is still working by the time I get to it.

    • Sigaduro

Does anyone know if Food Lion stacks the coupons linked to your MVP card and along with a paper coupon? For ex. Charmin has .25 PG coupon from 7/3 as well as a ecoupon for .25 off. Could i link the ecoupon to my card and use the PG one from the paper, or just one?

      • Jessdare101

        you can use both

        • Concertchristal

Will both double though? They double up to .50 right?

          • Jcwiakala_44

Most Food Lions do not double.

            • Angela

my food lion doubles up to .55 cents q's… guess I am lucky huh?

            • Aj7202004

The food lion in conyers ga doubles up to .60 cent. Q's

          • Nikki

If you come across a Food Lion that does double, lucky you! Ecoupons do not double either way though.

    • Ncrockhound

Is it possible to use both ecoupons on the Charmin?

      • CCShad

    • Comrlg

How does food lion bogo go? can u uae 2 man q's?

      • bevrev

yes because their BOGOs are half price each

    • Nancy

      The deal on the V-8 Fusion is the only thing I see.  Buy 3 @ $2.50 each, use 2 of the $1.50 coupons and also use the B2G1 coupon.  $7.50 -$3 = $4.50 – $2.50 = $2/3 or $0.67 each!   :)

      • Dbdr4

Can you double up like this at Food Lion? It looks like you are using 2 coupons per item? i am new at this sorry

        • Nancy

          3 V-8 Fusions, 3 coupons

    • Lana

If you printed the $5/5 kelloggs coupons last week then the cereal will be 99 cents a box which is a good price these days.

    • Deyna115

    • Andrea Facio

The machine up front was printing $1 off 2 v-8 fusion, so at 2/$5 – $1Q I paid $2 each and found an extra coupon at the printer so got 4 at that price. I did not have the other coupons mentioned below. Also one of the Crest boxes for $2 (-$0.75Q/1 so $1.25) had a free sample of another crest plus $10 in coupons inside! They are all good crest coupon that don't expire til 2013!

    • Andrea Facio

Also found Gillette men's deoderant for MVP price $4.69 – $2Q so $2.69 and some Orbit gum in the back that was clearanced to 5 for $5. Wanted the popsicles, but they were out.

    • Andrea Facio

Oh and our cantaloupe are only 88cents! I happened to go to WalMart first and they let me price match it. Never knew I could price match produce :)

    • Nancy

      The V-8 V-Fusion was a MM for me today!  I purchased 2 V-8 V-Fusion and 1 V-8 V-Fusion with Tea.  I used 2 of the $1.50 q's and 1 of the B2G1 q.  The B2G1 q took off $3.89!
      3 x $2.50 = $7.50
      minus $3 = $4.50
      minus $3.89 = $0.61/3

THEN . . . the register spit out a $1 OYNO compliments of V-8 V-Fusion.  So they paid me $0.39 to take the 3 bottles out of the store for them!   WOOHOO!

      • Mickeyclem1981

mine took off the $ 2.50, so I didn't get the great deal you got :(
Chef Michael's 11.5 lb is on sale for 13.99 with $4 coupn paper = 9.99
Found Airwick vanilla and cashmere freshomatic on closeout for 5.99 with $4 – 1.99

        • Mickeyclem1981

also wisk, gain, and era on sale for $3.99 wisk is 1.99 with $2 coupon from paper two or three sundays ago

      • melissa

You're lucky.  I was just coming to post about my V-8 fusion confusion tonight.  I tried using the B2G1 in combination with two $1.50 Qs and somehow the computer attached the B2G1 to THREE juices and wouldn't allow me to use the $1.50 Qs.  The manager came over and I got nowhere with her.  But I decided to buy them anyway since they took off $3.89 for the free one.  Well, lo and behold, I got three $1.00 OYNO coupons (I actually bought 7 juices) so I'm thinking it must print one for every 2 you buy.  So I took the $1.50 Qs that I couldn't use in the first transaction and went and got more.  Long story, but figuring in all the coupons I used and the OYNO ones that I got, I averaged $.84/bottle!  Can't complain about that.  (Although a MM would have been better.)

    • Mickeyclem1981

on 10oz packages of bacon and bacon and cheese beggin strips at food lion there are buy one get one free coupon @ 2/$6 which I combined with the 1.50 coupon from the paper a few weeks ago so I got four bags for $3

    • Minx3194

the food lions in the metro Atlanta area double up to .60. and you can stack store Q's with manu, and they have magic coupon machines, and they price match! I love it!

      • Steph

If they price match, will they still double the q's up to .60?

        • Minx3194

          yes they do!

          • Steph

Thanks!! Kroger has been out of Wisk, so I went to FL and they price matched them at the “buy 10” price. I got them for .98 each b/c I had a $1 off your next trip from the V8 deal! Woohoo!

    • Kwaltower

I live in North Carolina and found a unadvertised deal on Marcal Small Steps single roll paper towels at Food Lion. They are MVP 5/$5 and there is a $1/1 coupon in the Redplum coupon pack from the June 19th Sunday paper.  I had 5 coupons and got them for free.

      • Melissa R

Thanks for the tip!  It worked for me in NC, too.  I got 6 rolls for free.  I appreciate you posting this deal.

      • Cklaas

I have never shopped at Food Lion so I am not familiar how they work. I only have 2 of the Marcal Small Steps coupons and if they are 5/$5 will they let me get only 2 and still be able to get them for free or do you have to purchase 5?

        • Bscott16

Usually you don't have to purchase all 5, they will ring up at $1 each.

      • Lynchburg Beth

Thank you! I've got a bunch of these q's that have been burning a hole in my pocket. I haven't been in my FL much lately because it's under construction, but I'll go tomorrow:)

      • Jcwiakala_44

So I went to my Food Lion with three of these coupons.  The cashier only scanned two.  I noticed this when I checked out.  When I pointed it out to her, she said the coupon reads one per customer, so I actually got one more than I was supposed to.  Okay, point taken.  She wouldn't have noticed this if she just had scanned the coupon.  Anyway, I got my coupon back and returned the third roll of paper towels.  Hopefully I'll still have time to get that third roll.  Incidently, this is the second time in a row that a Food Lion cashier has missed a coupon.  Last time I caught it before the transaction was done.

      • PJ

They also have the Marcal toilet paper on sale. It is 4/$5 so with the coupon $.25 for 4 rolls of toilet paper. I used my coupons for this deal instead. Also, I believe that this sale is good until 8/1.

    • Fnluvingurl

I am new to doing couponing and when you see the m's for manufacture but it's not printable, where do you find it?

      • guest

It tells you at the end of the line.  RP=red plum (newspaper insert) SS=smart source (newspaper insert), PG= proctor and gamble (newspaper insert).  Coupons are regional and sometimes the coupon may not be in your paper and may be for a different amount off etc. Not sure how you get a kroger home mailer or some of the other booklets.  Hope this helps.

    • Inkpressed

I have been couponing for awhile now and I have a question. Can I use the $1.50 Q for the 2 fusion and then use the B2G1 for the fusion w tea? I tried this and it did not work. Should it have?

      • Minx3194

yes, it should work, I have done it at Ingles and Food Lion, you bought the 2  and you get 1 free, and its only one Q per item! so you have 2 1.50 off and 1 b2g1, but you can't use 3 1.50 off and the b2b1

      • Christie

I did it last night I bought 6 used 6 of the $1.50 off of 1 then got 3 of the tea's and use the b2g1 it took off the first free one fine but then beeped on the 2nd and 3rd ones had to get a manager over to overide it. Plus I got back 4 $1 off your next purchase coupons which I use today to get paper towels and detergent.

    • Christie

Gain is $3.99 through today, with the $2.00 off of the powder in the paper today made for $1.99 Gain whis is great since its the only kind I use.

    • tina

      Hi Jenny,

I just wanted to  share that the Food Lion in my neighborhood doubles coupons up to .60 face value.

      • Lynchburg Beth

I wish my FL doubled! I'd never set foot in Kroger again if they did…

      • Coupon crazy

        Where is this store?

        • Lisagrady22

Same with a store near my home.  This is located in Fayetteville GA

    • couponqueen

Today at Food Lion the MVP coupon of the day was $1/2 v8 fusion.  It was a store coupon.  i used that along with the 1.50 off coupons and then got 2 $1 Catalina for my next purchase, making them 25 cents each.  Awesome

    • Nab2079

I tried to stack the store coupon $1/2 and 2x manufacture $1.50 off for the V8 fusion. The register beeped, and the cashier told me that I can't use the store coupon since I already used 2x manufacture coupons on the V8. Did anyone else run into this problem?

      • couponqueen

I just returned from my Fl and they would not allow me to use 2X mfgr $1.50 + their instore $1.00 off coupon. I tried to explain to the mgr and clerk that their own coupon was a STORE coupon, , but they refused to o/r it. I also could not use the get a v8=tea coupon either even though i purchased it,also. this is why i drive across to another city to shop at Harris Teeter- we only have food lion here, no competition xcept Walmart (small town in NC)

      • lala

Nope, the only problem I had is that it wouldn't let me use $1/2 store Q's in the same transaction. I bought 4 fusions and used (1) store Q and (4) man Q;s

      • Poe1971

yes i had the same problem at my food lion

    • MacMurray

My prices at FL were so different this week than the ones listed here.  I live in Athens, TN for anyone that this might be helpful to.  The A&W Rootbeer 2 liters are on sale 4 for 5$.  If you buy 2, some have a coupon on them for $2 off FL ice cream which is B1G1 free this week.  It made the ice cream .75.
