Today 4/27, everyone who goes to a Kentucky Fried Chicken will get a FREE piece of grilled chicken.  It’s hard to think of grilled chicken at KFC, but I guess thats the point of the promotion.

You don’t need a coupon, just show up.  This is nation wide.

Go here to more details.

I bought 4 papers and only 3 of them had the coupon in the magazine??!
I checked the fourth magazine twice, but it was not there… I am noticing a few differences like that in different papers, many of the coupons are the same but in a different order or place in the ad… never noticed that before, but never was a heavy couponer before last weekend!

      Thanks for all you do!

      Hi, Kathleen,
I used to be newspaper delivery person, and the coupon differenc could be attributed to a couple diff. things –
      1. A carrier could have removed them (not likely, always extras)
      2. Someone stole them – this happens more than you think – folks wont cough up a dollar :-(
      3. If you bought the papers at diff. stores, this could explain it – advertizers only insrt certain, if any, coupons in certain areas – those most likely to utilize them .
      Happy couponing : )

      Our KFC isn’t participating- bummer!

    • Just came from KFC.I didn’t even have to ask!!! Thanks for letting me know!!!!

Perfect timing! I weighed myself this morning, and did not like what I saw! :-) So, I got a free piece of KFC grilled chicken (it was good!) and had that for lunch with a salad!

    • Jennifer

Thank you for reminding me! I got mine at around 11:00 because I wanted to beat the lunch rush. I pulled into the parking lot, ordered and pulled away from the drive through window in less than a minute. Wow can’t beat that.

The chicken was good! It is kinda a very faint lemon pepper flavor and it is juicy! The skin is still on so it’s not a completely diet friendly item but still much better than fried. :-) Then I called everyone I know (not exaggerating on that) and told them to go get some too!

    • Mine went in the recycling today, but I dont remember seeing a coupon in there.

Just FYI – the coupon that was in the Parade magazine (Atlanta area)for free grilled KFC doesn’t expire until May 15. Yesterday (4/27) they were giving the free piece of grilled chicken all day for anyone who went to a participating KFC restaurant. But the coupon is good for one piece any day until May 15. So check your recycle bin for the Parade (or other Sunday news magazine). I know Knoxville had one in their paper too.

OK – I went to KFC w/o knowing it was free chicken day. You would have thought they were paying off peoples mortgages! KFC was a total zoo – a mad house. I just wanted a bucket to take to the park for a blanket supper so the kiddies could play. I did get a free chicken leg. And the verdict? Well, the new grilled chicken is TO DIE FOR!!! Use your coupons now that free chicken day is over.

    • KFC must be trying to compete with the delicious McRib sandwich from McDonald’s; it’s hard to resist those yummy painted-on grill stripes…
