Before I share my shopping this week, I thought it was important to start with an idea of where the real fun was this week:  Harris Teeter having super doubles!! So I have chosen one of my readers who had a great day shopping at Harris Teeter to share first. Here is a picture of her purchase, valued at $66, and she spent only $11!! Congratulations, Amy!

Now for our shopping:
I went out for Produce and other Essentials this week (and a ton of Pop Tarts for the smaller members of our family who aren’t on a diet).

Publix:
Total Before coupons and sales: $39.60
Total Spent: $10.30
Total Saved: $29.30

I grabbed a few money makers to cover the cost of milk and then a number of Pop Tarts. Can’t make a real meal from it but it will be eaten!

Kroger:
Total before coupons and sales: $26.14
Total Spent: $19.48
Total Saved: $6.56

This was mostly all produce! We got a ton of Grapefruits, Cherries, red stripe bananas (mark down), and salad.

Weekly Totals
Before sales and coupons: $65.74
Spent: $29.78
Saved: $35.86

For a week of produce and pop tarts that’s pretty good!  I have yet to get the current weeks deals at Publix so I know that being under budget this week will only help the shopping trip next week.
