We made a family trip to the store this week for Kroger’s Meat Mania sale.  If you saw a family with three kids and an enter side of beef that was us.  Taking a grill lovin’ guy into a meat sale isn’t a good budget meeting kinda idea.  My husband saw the whole ribeye at $4.99 lb and had visions of steak all summer.

I’m pretty sure that ribeye was larger than my youngest child…

Total before sales: $267.23
Total Spent: $101.65
Total Saved: $165.58

This involved very little “couponing” it was more just buying things at the right price.  If you ever want to throw the coupons out the window it’s okay, just remember to still grab whats on sale.  Your $1 off coupon is still worth a dollar no matter when you use it.  You are saving most of your money by purchasing items at the right time!!
