Happy Friday!

I hope this was a week filled with savings and fun.  If not you have the whole weekend to make up for it!

I went into a number of stores this week both grocery and non grocery.  We were on the road and I took advantage of a few Groupons I had saved up for stores we don’t have in my area.

My favorite was checking out at Coldwater Creek with $98 in clothes, and only paying $4.17!  That’s fun!

We did a bit of grocery shopping too:

Publix:
Total before sales and coupons: $76.10
Total spent: $28.44
Total saved: $47.66 or 63%

Kroger:
Total before sales and coupons: $29.56
Total spent: $19.21
Total saved: $10.35 or 35%

Publix was our big trip, getting a few of the great B1G1 deals and freebies.  I also got milk (never on sale but you gotta have it).  I don’t normally shop in two stores a week, but grabbed a few things at Kroger while I was walking around looking for deals.  Mostly I got meat, bringing down the total saved.

Weekly total:
Total before sales and coupons: $105.66
Total spent: $47.66
Total saved: $58.01 or 55%
