This week we didn’t go in any traditional grocery store and didn’t even pay in US dollars so might be tough to track expenses.  My husband did forget socks and razor though so we spent 75 pesos ($6 USD) buying those things for him. I also spent most of the week on a quest to find a good dessert (never succeeded) but spent 160 pesos ($12) trying different things throughout the week. Finally settled for a Snickers bar.

I am gearing up for early next week though as we start to restock around here.  After working like a crazy person the week before we left and then being gone a week we really need some groceries!!!  I hope next Friday we can make you proud :)

How did you do this week?  Leave a comment or link to your savings post.

In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a snickers bar. Or Reese’s Peanut Butter cups. Welcome back, Jenny!

Jenny, Just discovered this web site and really enjoy the information. Given to me by a manager at a Walgreens store. I was told at my Rite Aid in Birmingham that they were told not to take any more computer printed coupons. Do you have the latest news on this. Thanks

I have a question when I read the deals that people get they are getting up to 10 or more of a product that is on sale and has a matching coupon. Many of these coupons come from coupon booklets found in the grocery store, just like this past week with the breyers ice cream deal at Kroger. The 1.50 off was a great coupon but how does someone aquire 10 or more of these? Do you really take that many booklets? Is that even allowed? And if it is allowed is it the right thing to do?
