I enjoyed my husbands day off today and went shopping by myself! I haven’t done any shopping for three weeks now so I was a little afraid of what today might look like, but we did very good. Not having three kids I was also able to hit more stores. I had wonderful cashiers and a great time.
This is Publix and Bi-Lo together.
I forgot to get the Brawny 8 pack of towels, 2 lbs of Cheeries and 5lb bag of rice in the picture.
Bi-Lo:
Total before coupons and sales: $91.89
Total Spent: $32.58
Total Saved: $59.81 or 64.5%
This trip included an $11 Boston Butt Roast, Watermelon and Cheeries.
Publix:
Total before coupons and sales: $151.47
Total Spent: $63.33
Total Saved: $88.14 or 58.2%
Funny story… they were out of Pork Loin in the case, so I asked if they had any in the back. He asked “Do you want a whole or a half?” Having no idea really what the size difference was I went into stock up mode and said “Whole”… the thing is huge! Thankfully we have freezer space and love pork chops and roasts. A third of my total was for this… $22 in pork (at $1.99 lb).
Kroger:

Total Spent: $19.20
Total Saved: $16.16 or 45.7%
I got: 10 packages of cheese, 2 loaves of bread, bananas, sausage, tomato paste, and a rice mix my husband was craving (not on sale at all and no coupon – he is very loved).
