Happy last Friday in August!  I’m secretly hoping at soon as September gets here that the temperature will drop at least 15 degrees.   I’ts a silly hope, I know, but the grocery stores are also hoping for that as the ads starting on Sunday are all featuring Pumpkins…

This week we made it out to Publix for meat and milk.  We really didn’t need anything else.

Publix:
Total before sales: $45.61
Total Spent: $28.19
Total Saved: $17.42 or 38%

Kroger:
Total before sales: $19.85
Total Spent: $6.49
Total Saved: $13.36 or 67%

I also got some more crayons and other back to school deals at Kroger before they take them off sale.  We have a big Operation Christmas Child box goal this year and the 39¢ Crayola Crayons fit into that beautifully!
