This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Glidden.  All opinions are 100% mine.

Glidden is offering (2) free paint testers to anyone who wants them from today until June 7th!

Just go to the Get Color, Give Color Giveaway to get your two free paint testers!   You’ll also get to send 2 free paint testers to a friend. To select your color, drag the color that you want over to your tester bottle.

The paint testers come with a brush attached to the lid and enough paint to to cover three square feet.  There are 282 colors to choose from, so the odds are pretty good that you will find what you are looking for.  The best part is this is good quality paint.  It only takes one project for you to learn that it really does matter what kind of paint you get!

I just ordered my own and picked the Royal Navy (pictured above) and the Robin Egg’s Blue.  Our big bathroom “project” (leak fix) is almost done and it’s time to think paint…  perfect timing.  Even if you don’t have a big project on the horizon this is a great way to try out their paint for a fun craft project!

The web site even automatically matches your paints with other colors that would go well with them to help you in decorating.   If you are on twitter, hop over and become fans of Glidden on Twitter at @Glidden_Paint, they tweet about great painting tips and special offers.

Note:  These samples are only available online!!  Please don’t ask for them in stores.  Also they are only available while supplies last or June 7th!!

I would love to hear what colors you pick or your ideas to use them!  Leave a comment below and help us all get inspired :)

    • I used the sample paint on old picture frames

      • Laura

Thats what I'm doing as well. I'm hoping there is enough to paint two frames.

Thanks for the reminder! I requested soft sage and frosted pine, hopefully this will get me and hubby motivated to finally get the rest of the house painted. :)

I just got the Bittersweet Chocolate and the Caribbean Sea! The brown is for my guest bedroom and the turquoise is for my daughters room!

    • miatd

      awesome just requested mine

    • cindy

I chose aged teak and bold sangria. We are going to paint one wall in the living room.

    • susan

I must be doing something wrong. I picked gentle fawn and warm gold by just clicking on it and then I clicked on the confirm your order. Nothing happens other than the “Please choose 2 colors”being highlighted. Help!

    • Christy

Susan, I couldn't figure it out at first either, but you have to drag the colors to the 2 tester bottles on the right.

      • susan

thank you so much – it worked.

    • Thanks for the great post Jenny!

Note that you can only win free testers at http://www.Glidden.com (not in any stores).

    • Carol

Sorry to be so dumb. But I need help with this. When I click on a color, it is displayed on the larger “chip” to the right, but I don't know how to select that color. When I think I've chosen two and hit submit, the message reads “please choose two colors”. Thanks for any help you can supply!

      • Crystal

        Hey Carol!

You actually have to drag the color over onto the little paint tester in the brownish “Get Color, Give Color Giveaway” box to the right. You can't just click on it or else it won't work.

      • Laura

You have to drag the color over to one of the two bottles that are on the right side just above the submit button. Hope this helps!

    • Kim

This is awesome!! I have been wanting to repaint our living-room/kitchen area (all one room) but didn't feel confident enough in the color choice, but didn't want to go and buy the little cans of paint and waste them! This will totally give me the chance to try out the colors before I buy them… it's a really big space and didn't want to make such a big mistake! I chose two different shades of green, Softest Juniper and Pale Jade.

I can't get this to work!!! It won't let me leave the ordering screen, and it keeps telling me to check my information and email addresses, but everything is right! Can anyone help me?

I don't know if this is your problem, but I was typing in all caps and my son told me that sometimes it can cause problems if these things are case sensitive. Once I typed lowercase (except at the beginning of the word, of course) it went through just fine. It is so sad that a ten year old knows so much more about computers than his forty-something-year-old mother!

    • Jenni

      I can't choose!

    • Brandy

I ordered the same color as my daughter's room, a very light pink, to touch up wall areas that have been scratched up by her brothers.

    • Hesperides

We just completely redid our kitchen and painted it Robin's Egg Blue – great choice ;)

    • Jana Lee

I chose Sexy Pink and Onyx Black. I am planning an upcoming birthday party with black and white polka dots as the theme with splashes of shades of pink. I'm hoping to be able to paint some sort of back drop for nice pictures to be taken in front of. We'll see what happens! Thanks for the link!

I'm apparently getting two Shell White. My browser took forever to load the page and somehow jumped to the page where you enter your address. It did say it was “step 1” so I completed it. Then it said thanks for ordering your samples and showed 2 labelled “Shell White.” I am sure I will find something to paint white. LOL.

    • Jenny

I got the pink and green from the kids collection and my sister got the yellow and purple. I was going paint shopping tomorrow to make hair bow holders for my niece that saved me 25 dollars so very glad

This is wonderful! We are just getting ready to gut our house to remove the Chinese Drywall, so this will help me start thinking about colors for when we put it back together. Thanks Jenny!
