Unfortunately for many of us we have HEB or WalMart to choose from. There are no Albertson's, Krogers or Winn Dixies here in San Antonio. I can shop at the commissary, but not everyone has that option.

    • Jcpcarolpool

PLEASE DON”T DROP HEB! This is the only Grocery Store that you post on that is around where I live, and they seem to be cheaper than the Walmart in my area, and the only other grocery store close to me is like 30 min. away and that is a Brookshire which is usually alot more expensive than HEB.I've just started the coupon thing recently after finding your site and getting all excited that I could really save money once I learn all your tips. You see I've been off work for over a year after getting hurt at work and have been trying to live on a Very Limited Income so when I found your site I thought I had found someone who could really help me get thru this difficult time with all your great tips and coupon links.PLEASE KEEP HEB!!!!!

    • Beth

I love that you've added HEB! Please don't stop. It's our only choice here in Central Texas (other than Walmart).

    • Corrie Beard

I live in Houston and have two HEB's near me (as well as Krogers, Walmarts, Targets, Randalls), but can't think of another store that you might add that we have here. I don't shop at HEB much, but most of my friends do!

    • Sara

I don't live in Texas, but if you ever consider adding another store to your weekly list: Martin's in Virginia is the best place for groceries, and they have a weekly circular – often with awesome in-store coupons!! Add Martin's!!

    • Lynette

I'd love to see Tom Thumb covered in Texas! :-)

    • Lgdelk

Please don't drop HEB! I followed your site very closely when we lived in Alabama, but you didn't cover HEB when we moved to Texas. So, I tried to find another blog that covers HEB. I cannot find another blog that covers HEB in the way that you do and offers the printable shopping lost which I love!! I was so excited when you started posting HEB. Thanks for everything!

      • Catherine

I agree! It's all I have in San Antonio besides Wal-Mart or Target. HEB isn't the best on their prices and the coupons stink – there never are any coupons for the item that you have to buy to get the freebies – but this site helps me so much with organizing the deals!

    • Denise

I will be moving from Atlanta to San Antonio just went to your workshop in Newnan and love your site. I have tried searching for a San Antonio grocery blog and no luck. PLEASE DO NOT DROP HEB

    • Couponcrazy85

I would love to see “brookshire brothers” on here. (for my mom who lives in texas :)

    • Lindsay

I already posted that I hope you don't drop HEB. You could also consider adding Randall's for those of us in Texas. It is a Safeway affiliate and has very good deals for couponers. Thanks again!

    • Amanda Smith

I'm getting married next spring and am moving from Florida (and away from my beloved Publix) to Waco so my vote is for you to keep HEB please.

    • Smcat6

I use the HEB weekly post all the time. HEB is the only grocery store we have in the San Antonio area. I was excited when you added it so I hope you decide to keep it:-)

    • Teressayarbrough

I was very surprised when I saw your heb list. I can tell you as a couponer in central texas walmart and heb are the only real options. randalls is good but if you are not in austin or surrounding areas not good. if you are in dallas or houston then you have more selection and heb is not one of them. for some reason heb has dominated all of texas and drove out albertsons winn dixie…etc so they dont have to have great deals or $200 dollar of food for $.25 cents and dont even mention doubles. I guess you feel like why do heb and they have no deals??

    • Luvmysailr

Please do not drop HEB from your list. In my area of Texas it is one of the only stores that I can shop at. Your blog is so very helpful! Thank you.

    • Wisemom168

HEB is not a good store for couponers here in katy, texas. RANDALLS is the best. it's even better than KROGER. i go to other sites for RANDALLS deals. but i agree with your followers here who are dependent on that store. keep HEB but can you add RANDALLS too? thanks.

    • moneysavr1

I do not understand why you would drop HEB…….they are not coupon friendly at times, but they have good deals and good in store coupons. I mainly shop Krogers and HEB and this site has been helpful in keeing up w/ the sales. PLEASE do NOT drop HEB. But it would be helpful to add Randall's. Thanks.

    • Saintbrodiesmom

Please keep them. Since I started following you I only shop there. I hardly ever go to Wal-Mart anymore.

    • Please keep HEB. I don't have many options in TX but you are helping me save what I can.

    • Gstell77

I use your HEB post all the time, and save around 50$ a shopping trip using your list! Thank you for all you do, and please keep HEB. (I also only have HEB or walmart choice)

    • Savanarola

Please keep HEB. For most of the state of Texas, it is the best or only store. I don't live there any more, I'm in Virginia (and shopping at Harris Teeter or Safeway), but I know I've told a couple of Texas friends about this website and HEB is the one that they use.

    • Stormy

I moved to Austin from Statesboro, GA and had to go from shopping at BiLo to having a HEB, Whole Foods, and Walmart to choose from.

I normally don't even use the H.E.B. post as it seems that there are different ads in different cities. Ours rarely has the same deals on meat. Since we are trying to move to more all natural whole foods we don't really coupon much anymore- except for the wine tags we find or any HEB loco deals that happen to be good.

So I guess, I said all that to say as one of the Texas folks, I've no preference one way or another. :)

Thanks for all the great work you do on the site!

    • Alison V,

If you drop HEB, Randall's would be great!

    • asl

I have to say that i would really miss the heb list. Its really the only store in my area other than wal-mart. and your lists are the best!

    • guest

I live in North Texas now, and I have also lived in San Antonio. I can tell you that there aren't a lot of choices on grocery stores in TX. The stores that are here seem to have a monopoly on the market, and even the local Albertson's does not double coupons like they do in CA. HEB I think is your best bet, although again, they seem to have a corner on the market, which is why they don't have very many deals.

    • dhskins

I would love for you to coupon match for Randall's. Its seems to me over the last year they are really trying to get couponers in there stores by including many store coupon deals. It would be like christmas to me if you did matcups for Randall's.

    • els711

Keep HEB! I love your site and it's the ONLY grocery store in San Antonio!

    • Keeping HEB would be appreciated. Adding Randall's would be good too.

Though, what would be best would be a way to allow us to create a customized view of your site so it displays the stores we are interested in, and hides posts for grocery (and other) stores which are not nearby.

    • Please, please don't drop HEB! It's the only grocery store I shop at and your posts are so useful! I'm just starting to coupon and have found this site to be so helpful.

      • Also, like someone said earlier, it's our only option in Austin besides Walmart (which has gross produce and meat) and Randall's (which is more expensive and you don't cover either).

    • Allison

There are other stores in Texas? Really?

    • Rosannamcglasson

Oh, no!!!! I just found your website, that was actually referred to me by a friend who love it!!! I only shop at HEB and don't want you to drop it. I've just begun…..

    • Principessa1456

I agree with most here…I just moved to TX from GA and can really only go between Wal Mart or HEB and this helps, even if some of the ads are a little different sometimes

    • Please keep HEB, Jenny! Your Texas readers love you!! :)

    • Pdmerc

Randall's/Tom Thumb would be great!!! They have really become competitive the past couple of years!!!

    • Michelle

I have to say- I printed off this list the other day, and went to HEB yesterday to finish my shopping. I had the list in my hand, and asked the butcher where the 1.77 shoulder roast was. He looked at the list, and said they didn't have any marked to that price, but for me to choose one and he would give me the deal! :)

    • Rockinco

I shop at heb just about everyday! I love the meat there.. Its always fresh.. thanks!!

    • Erika

Please, please keep HEB! I live in San Antonio and HEB is the only grocery store option (other than Wal-Mart or Target). This is SO helpful to me!

    • Tisaacks

Please keep HEB..I live in Corpus Christi and this is the only store we have to shop at. This is such a blessing to get to and get my shopping list…

    • Joan Tice

Please, keep HEB. Unfortunately, HEB has run out every grocery store in San Antonioout of business. They have a monopoly. I just came from an RV trip in the South. I wish we had all the stores and deals that the other southern states have. Joan

    • guest

I agree that HEB is the only store option for many of us. (Other than Walmart). You're the only one, that I know of, who features it… so I hope you won't drop it!

    • Wrch090156

Here in Austin H-E-B is the only choice other than Walmart, Please consider keeping it. This is the first time I've found H-E-B listed. LOVE IT!

    • SpicyPepper

So excited to see that you have HEB! Would you also add Randall's/Tom Thumb/Safeway (they're all one in the same). They take double/triple coupons while HEB doesn't and that would be soooo cool!

    • Esyke623

I would really like to see Giant Foods on here . . . I really appreciate everything that you do! Giant is the only store in my area, though, other than CVS :(

    • Brandi

Please keep HEB. HEB & Brookshire's are my only options other than Wal-Mart. I do my weekly shopping at HEB and was so excited when you added them!

    • Kristen

I just found this website and like some of the other readers have said, HEB is the only grocery store in San Antonio! Please don't drop it!

    • Deb

HEB is All I've got here in San Antonio. That is IT! I can drive to the commisary too, but HEB is right down the street ( and the commissary charges a surplus fee of 5% to groceries). I love that you have coupon match ups. Not that I LOVE HEB because they are tough to match coupons. But, I have found that even when the coupons are questionable, they still allow me to use them 80 percent of the time. PLEASE PLEASE. I took me forever to find HEB match ups.

    • Coley0172

HEB is the only store here in San Antonio worth going to and their coupon and freebies are kind of confusing – I was relying on your website to figure out my shopping list. We are military and just moved here – PLEASE don't drop HEB!!

    • Tlbmoore

HEB is the primary grocery store in Texas. I don't think going to another grocery store would serve as many people.

    • Shawn Martinez

I know I’m a little late on this, but I would LOVE to see you post Randalls/Safeway/Tom Thumb deals. I’m in the Houston area & there are tons of these stores. They really have some great deals too.
