      • Christina

super doubles next week – from what I hear

        • Angelascoupons1

My HT said the same thing….August 10

          • Couponclippingmom2011

Well that stinks, I was really hoping to be able to get out there first thing for the next super doubles or triples. I have to register my daughter for Kindergarten that morning. Does anyone know what time Harris Teeter Opens? I might could go and be back in time for registration.

            • Coupons4avery

              They're all 24 hour here in NC…otherwise 6am i believe

            • suzi

Not all Harris Teeters in NC are 24 hours.  The one in Morganton, NC opens at 7am…I believe the one in Hickory does too though I am not certain but it is not 24 hours.

            • Sarah

Even the ones that are 24 hours DO NOT start the super doubles until 7 am On the first day of the sale!!!

            • haley in nc

Hey Suzi!! I.shop that Harris teeter too!!! :) I'm from Marion :)

            • Brooke

Yeah, the one in Asheville and Hendersonville, NC are not 24 hours either. They open at 7am and close at 11pm.

            • Lisabluedevil

My understanding is that even if they are 24hours the computer will not calculate the super doubles until 7:00am.  So, you can shop ahead and get in line right at 7:00.

            • FiredUp

Only one of the HT's in the Winston-Salem NC area is open 24hr……

            • Teri

              24 hours

            • Tamara

The registers do not double or triple until 7am.  So, you can and shop before, but you can't check out until 7am.

            • Tamara

Its only 7am that first day.  After that of course, you can go at anytime.

    • Colleenstanley21

My heart is also broken–it is my last week off of work and I was hoping to be able to do doubles this week at 7am rather than after work next week at 5pm.
I guess life will still go on and I will survive.
      Thanks for the post, Jenny.

      • Christie

I heard from a ht cashier that coupon event will start 8/10 prop super doubles

    • Melinda H

anyone have a zip for the breyer's blasts?

      • Sajantz

        try 90210

      • Firedancer254

I have tried every zip I know and I can't find it any more. It doesn't even show up as “print limit reached.” I think it is gone :-(

    • suzanne

new to harris teeter- does the BOGO deals mean just 1/2 off or do you need to but two to get the deal? THANKS!!!

      • it means half off – so you only have to buy one!!

      • Mela1055

And the buy 2 get 3 free… just divides the price into fifths….

        • Tamara

At my HT, the buy 2 get 3 you have to buy the first 2 at full price, and the last 3 ring up at $0.

          • Mommy2Boys

This, it says you have to buy 2 in order to get the 3 free.

    • Janet

The Butterball Turkey Frank coupons do NOT double, so these would be .99 cents each with coupon, not .34 cents. Am I right?

      • Janet

        anyone? :-)

        • Tanyamhouse

I used that coupon last week to buy the bacon that was on sale and it did not double. :(

      • Dixoniv2

Usually the coupon UPC has a 5 or 9 at the bottom to let us know if the coupon will double or not even if the coupon says “Do Not Double.” Very interesting that the coupon doesn't have either code at the bottom.  I'm going to give them a try tomorrow.  Just will have to test it out.  Any way, 99 cents for franks is good with me.

        • gs

          mine did not double today

    • Amanda

Decent deals, still holding out for doubles.  Well, now I have one more week to get coupons ready :)

      • Scorchman

Doubles are every day…. you mean Super Doubles ;)

    • Couponclippingmom2011

From the looks of some of the post super doubles may be next week. I think I will hold off on going to harris teeter. The nearest one to me is 20+ miles a way. I will be collecting coupons for super doubles though. Searching the internet for coupons now.

    • Jaylow2631

they have been tripling coupons for about 5 weeks at my HT  in Hickory NC I have been loving it

      • Couponclippingmom2011

luck you. If that wasn't so far away, I would make a trip up there.

      • They have been tripling in Hickory for many months now.

      • SarahxNC

I just heard that yesterday! I work in Statesville, so definitely think I will be heading that way :)

      • FiredUp

Are they tripling up to 99 cents in Hickory?  Or a different amount?

    • cdbaldwin

When will they be doing doubles again :(

      • Mela1055

They do doubles every day… do you mean super doubles?

    • Lopezshopping

Not the greatest list of items but some items I can finally get that I've had coupons for waiting to be used.  lol!  I can't stress how helpful this site is and how much I've been able to save since I started couponing a couple of months ago… roughly 55 – 65% savings on groceries since!  I've never seen our shelves stocked so nicely before and for less than what I'd typically spend on groceries!  This site and Coupondede, both great helps to me!  Thanks again Jenny for this site and for mentioning the other on one of your blog entries!

    • Keedward

sorry… new to this… what are super doubles? thanks!

      • EB

On a normal week, HT doubles coupons that have a face value up to 99 cents. Every 6 weeks or so, the do something called “super doubles” where they double coupons that have a face value of up to $1.98. (ie, a $1.50 coupon becomes $3 off). These events can result in some wonderful deals and many items free or close to it- but you need to be aware of HT coupon rules like they only double 20 coupons a day, only 3 like items at a time (2 if internet printable coupon), and they do not double coupons that say “do not double” on them (this last one is sometimes not strictly enforced, but it is the official HT coupon policy and more stricly enforced with each coupon event in my experience.)

        • Keedward

thanks! new to couponing!… this site is so great!

    • Jessica Young

I have a ZVR for the Gillette. Will that come off also to make it a MM?

      • YES!

      • Jen

Yes!!!  I plan to do the same thing!!!

      • Carolinablueyes84

        Whats a ZVR?

        • Tamara

ZVR stands for zavers.  That's the e-vic coupon system.  With Harris Teeter, you can use an e-vic coupon with a paper coupon.  So, sometimes we get great deals because of this.

    • Momsdword1

Thanks for the ad and Q match ups.  Week after week I find a number of things that I shop for to add to my pantry or freezer.  When the sales aren't “deals” for me, I enjoy “not shopping”.  Thanks again for a totally awesome site!!

    • Starfire

What zipcode did you use for the superpretzel coupon?  Thank you!

    • Starfire

NAIR – $3.99.  There is a save $3 wyb 2 nair products on their website.

    • Yazpistachio

I had a frustrating thing happen yesterday at HT. I had a coupon for “$1 off eggs when you buy any 2 Kelloggs cereals.” I also had two $0.70 off coupons which I used for 2 boxes of Kelloggs Fiber Plus. So there is my purchase requirement met– or so I thought. Of course the egg coupon beeped because it is tied to the cereal, which already had coupons used, so the CS agent had to come over for an override. She looked at the q's, the two cereals, and the eggs, and informed me that I needed to buy 4 cereals, 2 for the 2 cereal q's, and 2 for the egg q! I assured her that the egg q was indeed money off of EGGS, not cereal, and that the purchase requirements are met.

Finally after an uncomfortable silence while she continued to scruitinize my coupons, she begrudgingly overrode the register “this once”. “Next time you really need to buy 2 boxes of cereal.” she said.

I don't see anything in HT's policy about this scenario, so I don't know where she is getting her information. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

      • Sarahoconnor

I had that happen a couple of weeks ago when they acted so condescending and said they would do it “just this once”.  Made me so mad because I knew I was right.  GRRRR…
On a positive note, i was just at my HT in Raleigh and I had a $10 off coupon from Lowe's that I was going to use.  Well, I dropped it in the store somewhere and after backtracking with my impatient three year old twins I couldn't find it.  I went to the customer service desk and asked if anyone had turned it in.  The super nice manager said that no one had turned it in but he had a “$10 off of $40” HT coupon that expired today that he would give me.  How awesome!  Made up for the rude guy ten times over!
Hopefully next time you'll have a great experience to make up for the bad one.  :)

      • Mommy2Boys

I had this happen with the New York bagel coupon:  Buy 2 bagel products get .55 off any eggs.  I also had coupons for the 2 bags of bagel chips.  I had to explain, very slowly, to 2 CSM's and 2 cashiers :(.  I got them to take it, but its irritating when its so simple!

      • Firedancer254

I tried to use the coupon like that, but it says $1 off fruit wyb 2 Kelloggs. They told me the same thing. That was at a store in Charlotte, NC. Usually they never give me any problem about any of my coupons, but for some reason this one they did.

      • guest2

Yes, same 'problem' at Target and HT with various money off produce coupons that are tied to a brand product. I now think (understand) that I can't layer these coupons b/c they just come off the brand product. It's sort of misleading on the coupon.

        • Guest

Yes, it is misleading b/c they put one thing in the wording and something different in the coding.  They could code the coupon generically if they wanted to, but they choose not to.  Possibly b/c they are unaware of issues at the register, but possibly b/c they really don't want us stacking the coupons.

      • guest

The CSM was right. Sorry to say it, but in order to use the coupon for that purchase, you had to buy 2 cereals and the eggs ( 3 items.) In essence the coupon is for save $1 when you buy these 3 items. So you cant use 2 more .70 coupons for the cereal. You already used a manuf coupon for those 3 items.
        It is stacking.
I use coupons like a mad woman too, and i also work for harris teeter at customer service for several years now. I KNOW our coupon policy and that is stacking.
I wouldnt have overridden it. Sorry.

        • Katie B.

Consider this similar situation:  a bogo coupon.  Buy one item, get the second one free.  It is standard to be able to use a coupon on the item that you paid full price on.  This is the same thing.  Buy 2 cereals, get a $1 off eggs, doesn't say you can't get a discount on the cereal too.  The coupon is coded to attach to the cereal for the purpose of confirming that you bought them, not to prevent you from using other coupons.  Hey, I didn't write the coupon, they very well could have written the words “$1 off when you buy BOTH eggs AND 2 boxes of cereal”.  I have used the same coupons and they always beep, but the managers have always overridden it because it is absolutely correct that you can use both.

          • guest

I am fully aware of the BOGO coupon situation, and using an additional coupon with a BOGO coupon IS stacking… and its not allowed in my store. The BOGO coupon is NOT a sale price!!  You have to buy 2 items to use the coupon.  It is considered as $$ off of 2 items. You have to buy a third item to use a second coupon.
Say you have a BOGO coupon for deodorant, which is $2.99 retail each.  The coupon value is $2.99 off of 2 deodorants.
I have contacted corporate about this directly, and it was confirmed.  People need to realize that a BOGO coupon is not the same thing as a VIC sale price.
If your store overrides it, then great.  But it is AGAINST policy, and we don't allow it at my store.

      • CCShad

There is actually a newspaper article about this issue in today's Charleston Post and Courier newspaper!  See Jill Cataldo's article “Manufacturer's coupons usually can't be stacked”.  She says usually man. coupons cannot be stacked, but sometimes can be in cases like our issue here when the coupon attaches to the eggs, produce, etc.  Sounds like you just have to give it a try and see what happens.

        • Guest

The coupon does not attach to the eggs, though, it attaches to the name brand product.  You have to know a thing or two about coupon barcodes to see it.

      • Julie

Yes, this has been their policy as long as I can remember.  There was one a while back that was if I bought Kikioman soy sauce I could get free eggs and I tried to use another coupon for the Kikoman and the register balked at it and I couldn't use the second coupon, so I opted to put the eggs back.

    • couponer

Is this just advertised deals or are the unadvertised included in this list?  thanks!

      • Guest

The unadvertised list normally comes out later.  You can also browse expresslane to find them yourself.

    • bman_loves_coupons

Has anyone found the new keebler coupon books on the 'bus display” yet.  It has several great coupons for things you normally don't find coupons for.  $2 off meat, $2 off meat, $1.50 off fruit, $1.50 off store brand bread.  Several others like free vitamin water, and $off sprite 12pk cans or 8pk bottles.  You have to buy keebler cookies, or kelloggs cereals to get the savings, but you should be able to pair it with those coupons because these are actually off the meat, etc  Over $18 in total, and none of them say DND.  All start with 5.  Should be some great coupons when HT does Super Doubles.  Keep loooking out for it.  I picked up a few extra if anyone wants to trade some cascade coupons.

      • Jennapatrick8

I will trade some Cascade coupons for one of these books.  Let me know which coupons you want.

      • Brooke

I will trade cascade for these, and anything else you need. Email me at ashleyba@appate.edu

      • Guest

Technically you should be able to pair up the coupons since they 'say' that they're for meat, fruit, etc, however if you know what you're looking for you will see that they are actually coded for the register to attach them to the keebler items.  They won't be just generically coded so the register will beep angrily if you try to use one of those coupons AND a keebler coupon.  A friendly cashier/manager will put it through manually since you are following the 'one coupon per items' rule according to the wording of the coupon, but some may have problems getting them pushed through when they beep.

        • EB

I agree, I no longer bother trying to use a coupon off the qualifying item in a situation like this. In theory, I should be able to do it since these coupons are off off meat or fruit or something else, but they are coded to attach to the qualifying item and all registers will beep if you also try to use a coupon on the qualifying item. To me, the extra dollar off is not worth the hassle it will be at the register.

    • bman_loves_coupons

Has anyone else found the new keebler/kelloggs coupon book yet?  It has coupons for Meat, Milk, fruit, and store brand bread

      • Crane8880

where  can u get theose books at?

        • bman_loves_coupons

I got them at Walmart, but I think most grocery stores are getting the display too.  It is a back to school “bus” display

          • Tyedyemomma

I found mine at harris teeter on a keebler display at the front of the store

      • trianglemom

I found them at Lowes Foods yesterday!

    • NC Savers

If anyone is heading out today for some last min. items – got a great deal!!  The Raleigh, NC area got a bunch of Harris Teeter brand coupons.  There was one for $3.00 of any Your Home brand paper towels in there.  Stopped in today and the 8 ct roll pack was on sale for 5.99, so with $3 was 2.99 BUT, there was also a $2.00 evic coupon for these paper towels that came off, making the 8 pack of paper towels only $.99!!!  Can't beat that!

      • Alphagamsquirrel

I totally forgot about that flyer!!!  Thanks!

      • Guest

The evic coupon is only good for the 8 ct ULTRA paper towels which are more expensive – regularly priced at $11.99.  I bought the regular 8 ct your home paper towels when they were on sale for $5.00 and sure enough the evic coupon did NOT come off as it is not the correct variety.

        • Guest

But still a good deal just with the HT brand coupon.

    • ktavolley03

How does the B2G3 work?  I have often bought all 5 at HT, but do you get 60% off for only buying one?

      • Mommy2Boys

Nope, have to buy 2 at the full price and then you'll get the 3 for $0.  No other way to do it.

        • ktavolley03

    • Roslynblackmon

i heard super double is august 10th at harris teeter.

    • Michelle G.

heard super doubles was suppose to be this week but they cancelled it due to the craziness of the last one….. the manager said another 5-6 more weeks….she said Bus Loads of people came around 4am for the start of it!!

      • Amy

Super doubles for August has not been canceled according to my source. I guess I'll just wait until I get an ad to be sure.

      • Lisa

Are you talking about the Harris Teeter on St Simons.  At HT on SSI they were wiped out by 9:30 AM on the first day of the last super doubles due to the bus load of folks coming from smaller towns.  Also lots of folks had more than one vic card and were using other family members of the same household.  Manager said they were going to be asking for ID's and that your license home address must match that of your VIC card address. One card per household. HT manager needs to order more items to prevent the shelves being empty.  Not fair to locals who spend thousands there every year.

    • WatchingTheTrainWreck

I was actually hoping super doubles would start August 17 when my kids go back to school.  It is really hard to catch the good bargains with kids!

    • Jenjcakes

      again, another slow week….. :-(

    • Tgriggs777

Why can't I link to the printable Breyers coupon?  It takes me to a page with Southern Savers at the top, but the content is blank.  Can anyone help?

      • Guest

It was found on coupons(dot)com and also on swagbucks(dot)com in the coupons area if you happen to use the swagbucks program.  I don't know if it's still there but that's where it came from.

    • Carmelaggie77

how do u find out when HT is having super double coupon

    • Ajcmarshall

crest pro health is on sale this week for 4.49… pair the $2 off coupon from this weeks newspaper with the $2 harris teeter ecoupon and you get them for .49 … I'm pretty sure the ecoupons only work one per transaction so you couldn't get 2 rinses and expect the coupon to work with both.

    • anon

Marzetti Dressing, 24 oz, $1.99 ~ the coupon below should *not* be used on this product, as the SIMPLY DRESSED salad dressing is listed at $3.69/1 on the Express Lane.-$2 off Marzetti Simply Dressed salad dressing, SS 7/24(makes it Free)

      • Guest

This blog makes mistakes like that quite a lot.  Thank you for pointing it out.

    • Just called my Harris Teeter in Williamsburg, Virginia. They will be doing Super Doubles on the 10th as someone said! Whoo hoo!

    • Alison C Graham

In my weekly email I just got an offer for a $10 Gift Card WYB $30 in P&G products. Does this mean $30 before or after coupons? There are a lot of e vic coupons I plan on pairing with paper coupons

      • Jen

I did this last time they offered it and it's before!!!

        • Alison C Graham

Great. I've got 2 kids in diapers so it's easy to spend $30!

      • CarrieB

I don't see that in my email….do you think it's regional?

        • Alison C Graham

Maybe. I'm in Fort Mill, SC. South of Charlotte

          • Jamie Lee

Hey, I'm in Fort Mill too. Do you find that a lot of posted HT sales do not match up with the sales offered at our FM store? How do you prep for a sale? The online circular is not right either.

            • Jennapatrick8

I take my whole coupon book, because there is always other things on sale and that makes up for the advertised items not being on sale.  I also have started depending on the e-mail that they send out each week.

        • Guest

You have to click on a green box that says 'this weeks spotlight – back to school – back to savings – get cash back from p&g'.  It's near the top of the email before you get to the individual sale items.

It states that the $30 has to be in one transaction.  Good from 7/31-8/14.  You get a rebate form printed from the catalina machine when you purchase your $30 worth of items and then mail it in for the $10 mastercard.  These deals almost always work before coupons so you should be able to bring your total to less than $30 after you use your coupons.

          • Guest

And don't forget to check your EVIC coupons and activate them – there are quite a few for P&G items.

          • MomOf4

It's good thru next week, so I'm waiting to super double my q's to make it better!

      • EB

Anytime my HT has run deals that require buying a certain amount to get a discount or gift card, it is always AFTER coupons – so not that great of a deal often.

      • couponer

I did this deal last time and it was before coupons.  Its not really up to HT discretion b/c it automatically prints off… like a catalina… but its a form you have to fill out and mail in; atleast thats how it worked last time.

    • Bllscreek

Kellogg's is offering a deal this week – buy 10 boxes of Kellogg's cereal or Keebler cookies, and get $5.00 off instantly.

    • Guest

Just left HT.  No baby powder or J&J First Aid Kits.  I was told by the Manager that they pulled the first aid kits last week.  He didn't know why.  But HT seems to be out of stock on many sale items I have noticed and I am there the first day of sales.  I am getting tired of prepping a trip, pulling coupons, etc…and wasting time when there is no product.  Their sales are getting lackluster.

      • Guest

My friendly expresslane shopper person told me that the first aid kits were a clearance item that they will not be getting back in again.

        • Guest

P.S.  The summer season is always slower for sales – it normally picks back up for back-to-school time.  ;-)

      • Jamie Lee

I agree with you. I waste so much time and energy, and sometimes buy extra coupons off of coupon clipping sites to prep for a sale…and when I get there, the sale doesn't exist. I'm new at this and already becoming frustrated.

      • veronica

        Totally agree.

      • Agardner

Get a rain check – it never expires and when they do get some of the things back in stock then you will be one of the few that gets it – and if you can time it before you coupons expire then you may be able to pick it up during a double or triple.

    • Alphagamsquirrel

Nature's Own Honey Wheat bread is on BOGO as well at our HT (I live in Chesapeake, VA).  If you were lucky enough to get the 75 cents off coupon that you could print recently, they will both be free.

Also, Minute Maid Antioxidant Pomegranite Lemonade was 2.49 so if you still have a printable coupon (sorry, don't remember how old, but isn't exp yet) then it's a good buy.

    • TK

My HT in Morrisville, NC had the stoffers Lasagna for only $8.28 not $11.98.  It made that meal deal really nice and you diddnt have to get lasagna most of their family size entrees were included! Be careful with the meal deal, neither the croutons or the garlic bread came off the total so I had to get refunded.  WATCH THE SCREEN! Also grabbed the Nature Valley bread BOGO with my $.75/1 coupons for free bread.

      • Guest

Thanks for the heads-up – I don't like the lasagna but I do enjoy some of the other items.

      • Julie

Totally missed the $8.28 Lasagna, but it was the same price in Cary as well.  SWEET!

      • Tryn2sav

Natures own honey wheat bread, I got two myself for free. That was a good deal.

      • Julie

Oh and good catch on the garlic toast not coming off.  Mine didn't come off either, although my croutons did.

      • SA

The ad at my store says $11.98 for all these products not buy Stouffer's get the rest for free.  I didn't know how that would work so I didn't buy it yet.  I thought maybe a portion of the cost would come off of each item.  Did all the other items say free on the receipt?

        • CCShad

On my receipt, all items but the lasagna and garlic bread came off as free.  For the garlic bread, they tried to tell me it was a 6 count cheese bread that was part of the deal, but since picture shows the 8 count garlic bread, they did an override.  They also have the 8 count garlic bread marked on the shelf as “FREE ITEM”.

          • CCShad

Sorry, the shelf tag said “Meal Deal” not Free Item

        • TK

The meal deal works like this:

          Buy a stouffers lasagna
          Get lettuce
          garlic bread
          2L Coke all free
cant use coupons on the free items

        • Tamara

My store's advertisement said the same thing.  $11.98 for all these products.

      • CCShad

My store also had the $8.28 price for lasagna and the garlic bread did not come off.  They did it manually, but I am wondering now about that $11.98 price for all – maybe that bread price was not supposed to come off?
I found Annies organic cheddar bunnies and honey grahams on clearance for $2/box which is like half price.  Healthy alternative to Goldfish/Cheez-Its and my kids like them.

        • TK

the garlic bread is $3.15 so add that to the $8.28=$11.43….I think they just messed up on it all and are manually overridding each time.

      • Ncrockhound

I tried buying the meal deal and it wound up ringing up more in Gastonia, NC. To start with it was the family size for $8.28 not the party sized listed for $11.98. The cashier took the party size off and rung up the $8.28 one instead. The order total went up not down! I went through the register tape and showed her that the other items were taking a percentage off but not giving them to me for free. She called over customer service but they said the meal deal was ringing up correctly after they had verified that I was purchasing all the correct products. I didn't want to spend $15 dollars on a meal advertised for $11.98 and told them to forget it. That's the first time I ever tried buying a meal deal and I was not impressed.

    • Jamie Lee

Does HT really enforce just 2 internet coupons per DAY?

      • Noelle704

it's 2 internet coupon per the same item a day.

      • JL

I believe that it is now 3 internet coupons per itme. Not 3 internet total. Check out the policy.

      • Tamara

My HT will take 3 even though the policy says two internet q.

    • Julie

A couple other good deals I found.  The Dawn 19oz (big bottle) Dish Washing Liquid in Lemon and Citrus is on sale for only $1.74 (only that scent).  Use the $.50 coupon that came on in the last P&G flyer and use the $.50 evic loadable coupon and get it for $.24.  Also use the $.50 evic loadable coupon for Honey Nut Cheerios for more savings on top of your coupons.  Also the recent $.50 off one bandaid item coupon from the paper means a free 8 pack of bandaids (I never pay for bandaids anymore).

      • Jen H.

Love the deal on the Dawn, I got the same thing today myself, can't beat it!

    • Amber

I got some great deals at Harris Teeter today! I got the Gillete Body for free plus $1.01 overage! I've never had that happen at Harris Teeter before. It's on sale for $2.99 and I had an evic coupon for $2 off as well as the P&G $2 off coupon. I told my cashier I thought it should have adjusted down but she shrugged it off so I ended up with the overage! I also got 3 free boxes of Kraft veggie pasta mac & cheese. It wasn't on sale, regular price at my store was 2/$3. I had an evic B1G1 coupon and used 2 $0.75 off coupons. Also got the Smuckers fruit spread for $0.57. It's on sale 3/$5 and I used a $0.55 off coupon I had. Can't wait for super doubles next week!

      • paravel43

It worked for me too…I was surprised Jenny didn't have the ZVR coupon on here, but I made 1.01 too!

      • Tamara Moser

I got the Gillette body wash, Harris Teeter Brand paper towels 8 count, 1 crest toothpaste, 1 crest rinse, and 2 loaves nature's own honey wheat bread and paid $1.85.
        Paper Towels on sale $5.99 – $2/1 evic q and $3/1 store q in last weeks smartsource= $0.99
        Gillette body wash-$2.99 – 2/1 evic q and $2/1 man q= -$1.01
        Crest toothpaste-$2.49 – $0.75/1 evic q and $0.75/1 man q= $0.24
        Crest rinse-$4.49 -$2/1 evic q and $2/1 man q= $0.49
        Bread-$1.44 -$ 0.75/1 man q=free

    • MomOf4

MY VA Teeter had the Coffee Mate on clearance for $1.19 again, so I was able to get 3 for .09 cents!  Yay!

Any thoughts on how to make the most of the buy 10 Kelloggs, get $5 off or the P&G deal?

      • Deals48

Lowes  Food has them for $2 dollars a box and the $5 dollar discount. Even better with double coupons.

    • karen

      Awesome work Jenny, thank you.

    • Jenjcakes

help!!! I don't understand the johnson powder deal…. coupon says excludes size 1oz to 4oz…

    • Susanschainblatt

Can anyone tell me how to get the kraft family booklet that has the mac & cheese q's

    • NC Savers

Just got back from Teeter – confirming the P&G deal for the $10 Master Card is BEFORE coupons :)  Which makes for some amazing scenarios!  Here is one for the mommy's that worked out wonderfully for me:

Pampers Box of Swaddlers – on sale 18.99 – $1.00evic coupon & – $3.00 Catalina coupon that I got a couple of weeks ago (so $14.99)
Jumbo Pack Pampers Wipes – on sale 5.99 – .50 doubled coupon ( made them 4.99)
      Crest 3D vivid Tootpase, 4oz – on sale 2.49 – .75 evic coupon & doubled .75 P&G (made it .49)
Gillette Body wash, on sale $2.99 – 2.00 evic coupon & 2.00 P&G Coupon (made it $1.01 profit – and yes, it took the full amount off)

$19.21 was the total – the $10 card = 9.21 for everything, PLUS there is a catalina printing out for Pampers – I got a $2.00 coupon :)   Can't beat it!!

      • NC Savers

Actually the toothpaste was only .24 cents – my mistake, even better!!

      • Manyfishes

While I did do P&G deal. I was not given coupon after the order. And the store manager did call corporate. I was told ” The coupon prints out if total is $30.00 AFTER coupons. But the manager was great and I was given some store gift cards for later use at HT.

        • NC Savers

Well Im glad you had a good manager in store it worked out, I definitely only paid 30.32 including tax out of pocket, and that included some other items that were not part of the promo.  O well!

      • Lsquared

I tried the P&G deal, and the catalina did not print out (I was right at $30 without coupons), but I went to customer service and contacted them online. Last time I did this, the form did not print out either. Last time, they mailed me the form, and I sent in the receipt and still got the rebate sent to me. I think the post-coupon may trigger the system not to print the catalina, but P&G still honored my receipt last time. We'll see! I used the Herbal Essence and Pantene free coupons…we'll see!

        • TheChapLeigh

I just did this deal at Lowes Foods, as I was in need of diapers, wipes & Tide. I was well over the $30.oo with using coupons, and nothing printed. The CS manager didn't know why it was not printing. I did this deal last time at Lowes Foods, and there was no printout after paying either, but P&G still honored the rebate. Such a bummer that there's so much confusion with these rebates.

          • TheChapLeigh

OOPS, my bad… total before Qs was $31.97, afterwards $28.97… I will be calling P&G, as there is nothing in the fine print on the LF flyer that says anything about price being $30 AFTER coupons applied…

    • Cdfox10

The Butterball coupon says do not double so they will really be .99 cents each.

    • DukeBlueDevilFan

Does anyone visit Farm Fresh?  I am kind of new to couponing and went there yesterday and paid 41.24 oop for over 115.00 worth of groceries.  Every Wednesday they double coupons up to 1.00 and everyday they double up to .99.  If any of you have a Farm Fresh its sometimes better than HT deals!! This is in Southeastern Virginia.

      • Breana Corbett

I shop there almost every Weds. & then maybe at HT on Sat. if the sales are worth it!

        • DukeBlueDevilFan

So glad someone else loves Farm Fresh like me… wish there was a link for FF on this site because the stores up here that Jenny does have links for are great and very helpful! I'm also finding that FF's have so many tear off coupons within the store…picked up 1.00 off of caress body wash, b1g1 on bathroom cleaner, m&m candies, and dove body wash!

    • Samantha

Grr Harris Teeter in Hky really ticked me off today. Of course items I had listed as freebies or close to it were out. I go to get my rain checks when this manager tells me that I need to be aware that if I want to buy Oral B toothbrushes and toothpaste in same transaction I will not be able to use coupons. I was shocked and was like why and she goes cause they are both oral b and we are now going by you can only use 3 coupons per company. I found this absolutely absurd and intend to follow up on it. Just thought I would see if this crazy lady is telling this to everyone!

      • Shannon

My HTs in Huntersville follow the same policy, three like coupons per transaction and 2 similar IP coupons per order.  I think it's part of their policy.

        • Lisabluedevil

THree like coupons means three of the same coupon at my store, not three coupons per company.

      • Dumbdo

Goodness…3 coupons per company how would they even keep track of that?  There are too many companies that are “under” one giant company but just have a different name.  That's just weird.  They will get paid back by the manufacturer…manufacturer isn't going to know if 6 people came in and bought those items or if one person did.

      • Amy

Harris Teeter in Hky NEVER has items in stock.  I have sent in complaints online, but nothing is ever done about it.  The store managers are RUDE, and they are terrible with their coupon policies.  Sometimes I think they make up stuff as they go.  I don't understand why they have to be soooo difficult.

    • savingmoney11

Went to ht today and picked up some of the strides pads and looked to see if there any q's in the box I could use and on the fold out flaps there were $1/1 q that I pulled off and used on the 3 that I bought. So 3.99 b1g1 w 3x$1/1 q totaled out to be $3 and the boxes had 25 percent more in the container. Paired this up with the soft baked cookies w q and the nine lives w $1q and saved quite bit today ;)

    • CouponFairy

Cutter 6 oz bug spray is BOGO right now for Evic members…if you were able to print the $2 off any Cutter product from their Facebook page, you can get two bug sprays for $1.29!

      • Kitzers6

Everyone's evics are different.  My daugher tried to buy something i had on my evic and didn't ring up.  So….beware.  The cashier put her # in and said she didn't see it on their evic list.

        • CouponFairy

No way!  I never knew this, I wonder why that is??

          • savingtimeandmoney

    • Brad Lipe

i've got a question about the b2g3 free on the breyers.  can you use 5 of the .75/1 coupons on this???  that would make each .90 if they double.  any help would be appreciated.

      • CouponFairy

Per their coupon policy only 3 of the coupons would double   *We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value. Like items include all flavors.*

        • Brad Lipe

cool!!  thanks for the info.  i had a brain cramp and forgot to look at their policy.  i'm not a frequent HT shopper.

      • Dquin

When it's B2G3 free, you can only use 2 coupons, because the 3 ring up at $0.

    • JenW

I went to Teeter today to do the “Spend $30 on P&G – get a $10 Mastercard”.  Here's what I purchased:
      75 oz Cascade – used $1 7/31 P&G Q
      3 Glide Oral-B flosses – used 3 75 cent 7/31 P&G Q
      2 Gillette Body Washes – used 2- $2 7/31 P&G Q
      Crest Rinse – used $2 7/31 P&G Q
      Gillette Clinical Deodorant – used $3 7/31 P&G Q
There were also $5.75 in ZVR coupons that I used…
      Total was $12.14 with tax

      — Here's the kicker — the $10 Catalina mail in form didn't print.  Cashier said her machine was jammed.  Went to customer service.  They said they didn't have any record at all of this P&G offer. They gave me $10 cash anyway, but said they were going to have to follow-up, as this offer wasn't anywhere in their system.

      • JenW

I meant to add that the total was $30.24 before coupons, as I already stated it was $12.14 with tax after coupons and Zvr.

        • EB

My store says it is only supposed to print if it is $30 after coupons.

    • Tomorrow might be the best day to do the Kellogg/Keebler deal this week. Saturday only e-vic special at my HT (Boger City,NC) Kellogg's 12-14 oz. Rice Krispies, Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Apple Jacks & Corn Pops $1.87 ea.with limit of 4 boxes. I plan to buy 4 cereals and 6 pks. of Keebler cookies to get the $5 off 10 Kellogg/Keebler deal. Using (3) $1/3 q's, total before tax should be $11.42 for all 10 items after the discount. Milk is in sale this week too and I have one $10 off $50 @ HT q I can redeem. Should have some substantial savings tomorrow. We are going to be eating a lot of cereal at my house next week!

      • MomOf4

I did this deal this morning, but bought 4 cereals, 2 cheex-its and 4 boxes of Fiber Plus bars.  Used 2 $1/2 for cereal, 2 0.70 off cheez-its which doubled, and 2 $1/2 fiber bars.  Total was $9.62 after the $5 discount.  So, for a dollar an item, I think that was a great deal!

    • Duh! I just realized that tomorrow should be tax free on the cereal and some of the other groceries too hopefully!

    • Did have to pay tax on cereal and most items but still had a great trip. Spent $43.50 after q's & only used q's for about 2/3 of all items purchased, saved $109.23.  catalina q for p&g promo didn't print but I already have the snailmail addy to send my receipt. Did get the Kellogg deal- got 4 boxes cereal, 7 pks. cookies, 2 gal. milk, (2 )24 ct.. pks. of cheese slices, 4 cans pringles, 2 tubs chip dip, canned pastas, peanut butter, 4 loaves bread, 2 ltr.sodas, bottled mustard, Tide detergent and alot of other p&g items we use. Found 2 good deals at my store- peter pan p.b. (believe it was the 16 oz. size) 2/$4. if you have printable q for $0.50/1 that makes it $1 ea. also had printable $0.75/1 q's for skintimate shave gel which is an e-vic special $1.99. makes it $0.49 ea!

    • I did leave q's on Pampers which ARE tax-free item this weekend because I don't have little ones. I don't want to fool with the hassle of mailing them but if anyone lives in the Lincolnton/Cherryville/Shelby area of NC and wants all my baby q's please let me know and I will start saving them for you. You can pick them up or I can drop them off if ur not far away. I will give these to the first person to respond .

Has anyone had any problems with not receiving 2.00 savings on Duracell 8pack Coppertop with their eVic email flyer?  I bought two 8packs today at 5.99 sale price, but noticed when I got home that the Save 2.00 didn't work.  I got the 0.75 eVic coupon I saved to my card, and also used 0.75 coupons I had bought from Coupondede, but I noticed the 2.00 eVic weekend special didn't apply.  This happen to anyone else?  By the way, thanks Jenny for the Pepperidge Farm notice!  Getting two packs for 0.65 each is GREAT!!!  Those cookies are pricey!

      • Leighboannie

        Didn't work for me either!!!!

    • Ctrinkle

Breyers ice cream was 6.99 at the store I went to today in Indian Trail.  Yikes!

    • Kristin

Great Pampers deal (details below).  I did not read all of the postings below, so I'm sorry if this is a repeat. And I do know that everybody's eVic deals are different, but this deal was too good not to share.  And, I figured that the people who could use it probably do get eVic sales & ecoupons for diapers, so hopefully this will help someone!
My eVic deals at HT this week included Pampers $5.99 for a jumbo pack (limit 2), plus there is an ecoupon for $1 off Pampers (Including Easy-Ups, Cruisers, and Swaddlers), and if you also use a coupon from the Pampers mailer, which stacks w/the ecoupon (it came in the mail not too long ago), then for a size 4 baby, you can get diapers for about $0.15/diaper!  That's a great price, considering the non sale price without coupons is about $0.46/diaper!

      • Lauraleigh

My ecoupon is just for boxed diapers.

    • Guest

For anyone who got the Buy 1 Get 2 American Greeting cards free e-Vic special on Friday, whatever card the cashier rings up first is the one that you pay full price for. The cashier rung up my cheapest card first and I got my two more expensive cards for free. As a result, I paid $3.49 for one and got two $4.99 cards for free.
