    • Beth

thanks Jenny – I've already planned my first HT visit for the week. Eager to see what else you find when I check back on Tues. THANK YOU!

    • Lohroc

      Thank you Jenny!

    • crystal

This will only be my second trip to HT but I'm so excited cause it's my first Super Double event! I loved shopping there last week…..it was a lovely store and a pleasant experience. First time I ever took a buggy on an elevator lol

    • Cinderelligirl

does HT take target, or any other store coupons?

      • Guest

It depends. If it is a coupon for a money off of your total order, then yes. (for example, a Target coupon for $5 off a $50 grocery order) If it is a manufacturer's coupon that just happens to have the store name on it (but the barcode starts with a '5' or '9' and it *does* say 'manufacturer's coupon') then some HT's will take it but others may not. If it is a store coupon for money off of a specific item (and actually a store coupon with a barcode that does *not* start with a '5' or '9') then no, according to their policy they do not take that.

        • Guest

Also, if it starts w/ a '5' it will double, but if it starts w/ a '9' it will not.

    • jennicolerob

Where are the Harris Teeter stores in GA? The only one I can find is in Saint Simon.

    • Jen9277

Can I use coupons that clearly state on the top 'Do Not Double'? I assume no, but I'm new to this. Thanks!

      • Guest

If the coupon says 'do not double' and the barcode starts with a '9', it will not double. Coupons that start w/ a '9' automatically do not double at Harris Teeter. If it says 'do not double' but the barcode starts with a '5', the register will allow it to double as long as the cashier scans it. If the cashier notices the 'do not double' wording, they do have the ability to manually enter the coupon so that it does not double. Some stores simply scan and let the register do whatever it's going to do, others will meticulously check all coupons and manually enter the ones that say 'do not double'. There's no way to know which way your store is going to do it until you get there.

        • Jen9277

Thanks! That's useful info. b/c I've heard that there's a “coupon nazi” at my local HT.

          • Luvnvrfailsmh

I would find out who and avoid their line. I have a couple at my store as well.

    • Shannon

Will Harris teeter take a Internet Printable coupon for B1G1? (The Kikkoman soy sauce for instance) I was always under the impression that they would not give “free” items.

      • Brenda

HT will NOT take printable B1G1 free…but the $1 off will get you an almost free item.

        • Luvnvrfailsmh

You should try. Even though policy says they won’t take the B1G1 from the internet mine did last week.

    • Donna

Thank you, thank you for posting this so we can get a head-start on our planning!

My HT on James Island will NOT double any printable coupons if they say DND, they're VERY careful about it, though they don't seem to pay any attention to newpaper coupons even if they say DND. In fact, I've them try not to double several of my printable coupons even though they DIDN'T say DND…they assumed that no internet ones could be doubled, in other words. It varies upon the cashier, of course, but I just plan on what the coupon says…if it says DND, they won't do it. If I get a cashier who lets it go, then that's just a pleasant bonus!

    • Momsdword1

Thank you….thank you……thank you!!! I so blessed to come to your site and glean the deals that are best for “our family” . It blesses me to be able to provide for my family and donate to others.

    • Guest

Can I print the muellers pasta coupon as many times as I want and use them….it has already let me me print three. Just wondering if I can use all of them?

      • laura

you can only use 2 per transaction

        • Jalonzo

I printed out enough to use 2 per day all week! I go 7 times on super dble/triple weeks!

      • guest

Should work, when they did their -$2/5 I printed and used at least 3.

    • Voney

I cannot find the coupon for Lindsay Olives Recloseables. Do I need to use a certain zip code?

      • LeAnna

I have found a lot of coupons under the red reclosable lid of the linsay olives….I figure it is okay to use them AS I am buying them. So if you can't get one or more….I would suggest a peek. You are not comprimising the product at all. I would not, however take the coupon out and NOT buy the olives! Does that make sense?

      • Luvnvrfailsmh

They may be out. Those tend to go quickly. You can try my zip, 27028. I got them yesterday.

    • Amyrdh

Does anyone know if the HT on Amelia Island, Florida doubles? I believe it is the only HT in Fl. No other stores that I know of except Fred's double here. Just wondering before I made the drive. Thanks!

      • Guest

I would suggest calling them and asking.

        • NCcouponer

          That worked. Thanks!

    • Carrie_C

There is a $1 Palermo's pizza printable coupon according to the coupon database. I didn't check what the regular price is on the pizza, but if you do get this pizza with or without the coupon, there is a vic special (tag on shelf) until 11/9 where you get a free 2 liter of a coke product when you buy one pizza!

      • LKNshopper

        Those pizzas are about $7 a piece…

    • JL

Anyone know the zip for the Rhodes rolls??

      • Paige

Just saw it on the 3rd page with zipcode 90210.

      • Mariannakeeth

I cut my from 8/08 SS or RP –

    • Mvtdeals

      I printed it from 27856

    • My3Cubs

I've logged into the Muir Glen website, but I cannot find the coupon. Any suggestions?

    • Juli

Has anyone else has a problem printing the $1 off Kikkoman Naturally Brewed soy sauce? I've tried a bunch of times and keep getting an error message that I've run out of memory. However, all the other coupons from Smart Source are printing fine for me. Go figure…

      • $avin'some$

yes!!!!!!!!!!! i want that q so bad dangit!

        • Ss310279

yes, however it allowed me to print the Ponzo Sauce BIGI. I want the Soy sauce though!!

      • Shicks64

yes I have. I guess try another computer maybe?

    • guest

How does the $$$ off multiples work? For example if I have a save $1.50 on 3.

      • Bacon Nina

It will take $3.00 off of 3 (only during super doubles)

      • Jackabearmom

You have to buy the three products and this particular week you will get $3.00/3 since it will be super doubles. Basically it comes to $1 off each one you get.

      • bunchofpants

If it's doubled then you save $3.00 on three.

    • Jessdare101

The Zone Perfect bars will be free this week with the $1/1 coupon from 10/31 SS. They are regularly $1.25

      • Luvnvrfailsmh

The chocolate chip cookie dough are soooo good. If anyone doesn't want theirs I'll trade you for another coupon! ;)

        luvnvrfailsmh at yahoo dot com

    • Besstunstallphotography

Question – I am new at couponing. Is the first price the price before the coupon discounts apply? Or is the first price the price after all of the coupons are applied? Thanks!

      Example – Tomatoe Paste 1.50

      -$1 off coupon

So the tomatoe paste will be 50 cents? Or actually it will be free if the coupon doubles this week?

      • Jessdare101

The first price is the price before coupons so this week the $1 coupon would double to $2 and make it free!

    • Lily's Mom

Question about coupon overages: For example, the Muir Glen Tomato Paste is $1.55, and the $1 coupon would be doubled to a $2 value, so does that mean that I now have $0.45 of free money to use off of something I don't have a coupon for, like produce? Or – does the coupon only “double” UP TO the value of the item?

      • Marlene

The coupon will only double up to the coupon value – no overage.

That coupon generally prints as Do Not Double and many HT cashiers will set those coupons aside and scan them in seperately so they don't double. Your store may be different but they tend to enforce this policy during super double weeks.

        • savingtime/money

Many time they will double If they do not double I will have the cashier take the item out ! I shop with that in mind many time I put those on last! easy to remove! I usly know with a few cent how much my bill will be ! just my thought they should honor them many do

    • Lovelivelaugh716

Help! Where is the $1.50 off Wholly Guac coupon? I can get the $1 off one, but it says Do Not Double =( Please help! Thanks!

      • Kim

The only Wholly Guac coupons I have seen say “Do Not Double” on them. I do not use them anymore because Harris Teeter overrides all of those coupons with “DND” on them.

      • Rollinalong59

        The $1.50 expired on 10/21/2010.

      • Rollinalong59

The $1.50 off Wholly Guac coupon expired on 10/31. Keep in mind that per corporate they do not double any coupon that say do not double.

    • Brownhaven2

Guacamole Coupon site for me is showing $1 now and do not double. But it has a 5 on it. Will it douple?

      • Shannonw1983

yes it will but if has a 9 on it, it wont double

        • Rollinalong59

The last time I went to Harris Teeter they would not double any that said do not double even with a 5 on them. Called corporate becasue they also would not take a b1g1 free and corporate told me that their current policy is no free or B1G1 free internet generated coupons and that they abide by all restrictions placed on the coupon by the manufacturer including do not double or triple or no doubling. You can look up their policy and see the part about no doubling yourself.

          • Partin4

I guess it all depends on who rings you out and if they are paying attention

            • meeee

I totally agree. It's almost always depends on how shitty the cashier feels.

          • Linda Hydrick

HT won't give a free item on an internet coupon but will from the newspaper.

    • Shicks64

there are so many great deal that are not even on here but does anyone know how to getany of these coupons ($1.50 off 4 Way Nasal Spray SS 10/17) I have been looking for this coupon for months?

      • Rollinalong59

coupon dede may have some for sale. Check out http://www.coupondede.com. I have had good luck ordering from this service. Very prompt on delivery. Good luck in finding them

      • Joolz2010

I have 2 I would be willing to swap you for something similarly valued :) I could put them in the mail tomorrow. Email me @ Joolz2010@yahoo.com. I’m in Northern Virginia.

      • Joolz2010

Email me I have two I can swap you joolz2010 at yahoo dot com

      • danica

are those indeed on sale at your store? where are you located? thanks!

    • Brownebaby

anyone have the zip for Celestial Seasonings tea? thanks

      • Joolz2010

        Try 20147

    • Mary

There is a Simply Juice facebook coupon for $1 off. Regular price is $1.50. Should make it free

      • Luvnvrfailsmh

Wow that's a great price. The simply juices are $3.something at my store.

    • Mpetersen83

If the sales continue (which they should) you should be able to get these items next starting the 3rd…
Turkey Hill Iced Tea $1.99…use $1 off two…makes them $.99 each!
Wheat Thins Stix $2.99…use $1 off one…makes them $.99 each!

      • Paige

The half gallons (on their website) say they are on sale for 1.19 each so with the $1 off 2, it would make them 19 cents each (selected ones). This says sale until the 9th.

        • Mpetersen83

          that is even better! thanks!!

      • Jeanell

Thank you for your great insite! =)

    • marlinsmom

I've read the HT internet coupon policy, but just wanted to double check with you all here. Can I use as many printed internet coupons as I want (without going over the 20 max and 2 for the same product rule)? Hope this makes sense…

      • Chele17rene

        • savingtime/money

Last time I try the cashier would only take 3 INet Q total I have not tryed in the last month or so, printer been out . Can any one tll Me?

          • Luvnvrfailsmh

Sometimes it depends on the cashier, but I've never had a problem with internet coupons at my HT. Watch for which cashiers give you problems and avoid them.

      • Partin4

you can use three coupons for same product

    • Linda Hydrick

FYI – Harris Teeter will not accept a b1g1 and cents off coupon for 2 items. They consider the b1g1 coupon counts for both items and won't allow an addition coupon on those 2 items. Also coupons that print out at the register are not doubled. Not sure why but they don't. Since some of these options were on the free items page thought I would save some the trouble at the register.

      • Ctkearns

it depends on the HT i know our HT in winston salem will let you use 2 coupons on an item that is BOGO and tehy also dont care how many like coupons you use !

        • April

Which HT do you shop at? I usually go to the one on Stratford.

    • Pachick

      any catalina deals at ht.

    • Gianni

Do not give them you VIC card until the very end. Coupons First. Then you can use coupons for every item of meal deal and B1G1. I tried it last week and it worked!

    • MyKidsMom3232

I'm a little confused about the Marie Callender's Free Item… My coupon says $1.50/4 and I don't think that will make it free. Is there another coupon for $1.50/1 and what exastly is Marie Callender's Bake? I could be looking at the wrong coupon…

      • Sparklecat2009

The one that I got out of my Smart Source is 1.50 off of 1 Marie Callender's Bakes.

        • Shannon

it really depends on the newspaper you got it from….mine says -1.00/1.

    • Caroline

So wait i wanna make sure i understand this. If i have a coupon that i PRINTED as opposed to got in newspaper if it makes an item free i wont get it free?? I am confused

      • Sparklecat2009

If you have a internet printable coupon that says that you get something for free or if it says Buy ____ and get ____ Free then that will not fly at HT according to most folks here and their coupon policy (I have personally not tried it) but if you get something out of Red Plum or Smart Source or from the company itself (like Smuckers, Heinz etc) and it gives an item to you for free or it is a BOGO then as I understand it……….that will be honored. HTH

      • if your printable is for a certain amount off , like say the soy sauce is $2 and your printable is for $1 off, once doubled, this printable will double its value to $2, hence making the soy sauce free, then yes, the coupon will be taken.

the only time you wont get anything free is if you have a printable that specifically says “get this item free”, like for instance, “free doritos” then those wont be honored, B1G1 printables will be honored though :)

    • jenn

ok I signed up on the site for the nesquick coupon and didn't find the coupon so I did a live chat and they say they don't have those coupons on there site at this time? Can someone help?

      • hayley

I clicked on the Nestle Carnation breakfast coupon and it went to the page that has the Nesquik one….try that!

    • Shannon

-$1 off Fruitables juice boxes, SS 10/10
these are normally 3.67 with coupon makes it 1.67

I found this in Charlotte Observer

      • Joolz2010

FYI I bought these on sale last time and my kids didn't care for them. They seemed watered down to me. They preferred the Capri Suns for $1.99 from Walmart. If your kids like them then it's a good deal :)

    • Nccouponmom

Okay question…I have looked this up but it doesn't answer my question without asking here…the HT policy says “•With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day. ” So what if I have coupons from the paper not the internet….is there a limit for like items? I thought there was but can't find it.

      • Jalonzo

I believe it is 3 from the paper

        • Nccouponmom

      • savingtime/money

Unless they have change It is 3 like item Only will let you use Q>

      • Littles6

Yea it's suppose to be like 3 but they will usually override that because all you have to do is separate your order to get past that rule and they know that. If you need to, just take your stuff to the car and go back in and do it again. There's no rule against that one that I know of. They always override my like item coupons with no problem. If they don't I just separate……………

        • Bev

I'm still trying to understand Harris Teeter's coupon policy. I'm used to Bi-Lo so HT is new to me. I thought you could only use your VIC card once per day so you couldn't go out to your car and then come back in to make another purchase or am I misinformed. I looked it up on the coupon policy for Harris Teeter and couldn't find it anywhere. Please help me figure this out. Thanks.

          • Bridget

You can use your vic card up to 5 times per day, but it does keep a record of how many coupons you used. So you could split up transactions, you just can't go over 20 doubled coupons per day total. Sometimes I have done this to get different receipts for rebates or to get multiples of catalinas, since only one would print per transaction.

    • Ginz_2001

      I found some deals just wanted to share….garden of earth chips 1 off print free…betty crocker potatoes 1 off free….pillsbury cinnamon rolls 50 off ss 10/10 free….gain dish soap 1 off i forgot where it is but its 39cents….de waffels pancakes 1 off ss 10/3 free….heathly choice soup 1 off 2ss 10/17 29 cents…swanson broth can 1 off 5 17 cents each..quaker instant oatmeal 1 offrp 9/12 50 cents//pringles 1 off 2 pg10/31….regina red wine 1 off print 25 cents…surf 1off ss 9/26 2.99 enjoy

      • meeee

    • Gehjh

When does Harris Teeter publish the weekly deals online? I know the sale starts on Wednesday, but I thought they posted they flyer online on Tuesday? I keep looking, but they havent posted. Any one know?

      • meeeeee

I always get mine on my email on Wednesday A.M. I don't see the ad on Tuesdays.

      • Bridget

They don't post the flier online on Tuesdays, but if you look at Express Land (the online ordering system), prices will update for Wednesday sales around 2 or 3pm on Tuesday.

    • savingtime/money

Enjoy !!

    • Kwardsworth

The $1 off Kraft Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese dinner coupon is longer available, is there another link for this coupon?

      • Joolz2010

If you got to www dot kraftbrands dot com forward slash macandcheese forward slash pages forward slash default dot aspx you can play a game and win points towards coupons. I think you might have to register first. I only scored .55 on 3 kraft mac and cheese dinners but I can't play the game all night, I have coupons to cut LOL! :) Hope this helps!

    • Lisa

Is there a benefit to doing the VIC card @ the end of checkout…I always give it to the cashier first. Today, I bought everything for the meal deal and DID NOT get any of the free items for free….I am going back tomorrow for my refund, but I gave her the VIC card first…should I do it last?? Confused as to why this would make a difference…help!

      • Cheryl

I have always given the VIC card at the begining and never had a problem…I know with the “Meal Deals” if you don't have every single exact item, it will not ring up as free (one time I picked up a different size of something and had to go back and get the correct thing.) Hopefully that wasn't the case with your transaction.

      • Oxherd

Makes no difference, however, don't give the cashier after you applied the coupon. The doubling part of coupons won't show up if you give cashier your vic card just before payment.

      • Moglichic33

HT's e-vic system regularly does things like that. I try to always check my reciept carefully just as I leave the register and have had to go to the service desk on quite a few occasions to correct an item that was supposed to be on e-vic special. The times I don't check on the way out I usually kick myself when I get home and realize that something wasn't correct.

    • Kat

Just went to HT and was really disappointed …. the grilling beans are bogo free 1.99, so they wouldn't let me use the $1.00 coupon ……. the playtex gloves are now $3. something not $1.99 …… Marie Callender’s Bake $2.99 is actually $6 somthing

      • Jennifer C.

Unfortunately, I had a similar experience this morning. Many of the items were not the prices listed on this website, or other items were not on sale at all. Do different Harris Teeter's have higher prices than others??

        • Katie M.

Yes, different Harris Teeters do have different prices on items. They usually have the same sale items, but if Finish Dishwasher thingies are $6.00 regularly at my store, my BOGO sale would make them $3 each while yours might make them $2.49 each.

With the beans, my HT only the Texas style beans were BOGO. The black beans were not. The cashier just manually adjusted the Texas ones.

      • Littles6

My HT had the beans BOGO too but they let me use the coupon and just gave me the value of the beans so they were still free. You may want to check into that one. They should just decrease the coupon value to make it free for you because you are still paying for the item even though it's BOGO.

        • Bridget

When an item is bogo, the coupons will “roll” into the next item if you have multiples of the same thing. So…on those beans, a $1 coupon will double up to $1.99 to cover the cost of 2 cans with just the one coupon :) (This only works on bogos, by the way.)

      • laura

Mine were not BOGO for the beans listed on the coupon. I was able to use it on the grilling black beans with no problem.

    • Littles6

Just FYI…at my Harris Teeter in Union County the Muellers pasta was not on sale, nor was the chichi's salsa. And some of the prices did not match what was on the site. Don't know if certain sales are different in certain areas…………

    • Luvnvrfailsmh

The Barilla pasta is B2G3 free, so I used 2 $1 off coupons and got all 5 for free! $1 off coupon came from the barilla/barilla plus, can't remember if specified, facebook page.

    • Luvnvrfailsmh

Activia yogurt is on sale for $1.99 at my store. Free with $1 off coupon!

    • Linda

I had a great experience at my HT today!! Spent about $11.00 and saved about $106.00. I also received $3.00 catlina from Pillsbury for buying 6 items. I had no problem using the coupons for bush beans, except once the cashier got to the 3rd coupon it beep. They had to get a manager to over ride it, because the beans were only $1.99. I will be going back tomorrow!! I love HT. Thanks Jenny

    • jenny

My HT didn't have a lot of the things listed as on sale as it says here. So, just a heads up that it might be a whole lot different when you actually get in the store. Not only that, quite a lot of the items listed weren't even sold at my HT. =(

      • laura

I always check the Harris Teeter online Express Lane before shopping. It'll give the prices and sales for a particular store!

        • sheila

I'm gonna try this, never occured me to look there.

          • Antbuddey

I'm going to try that too. I'm new to couponing and its discouraging to get all prepared then find it was all in vane.

        • Donna

Yep, I do this too – since you choose your local area store (or the closest one to you), you get a better feel for the actual local sales. VERY handy!

      • Triplethefun_3

I couldn't find several items on sale at my HT either. I was all ready with coupons, but decided not to buy since the sale price was not available. :o(

    • The Sandifers

I'm at the HT website and it's saying under the coupon policy page that “We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.” Is this saying that I can only use coupons that say 99 cents on it or less? I read above that they will double any coupon $1.98 or less? I'm confused, thanks for any help!

      • Audrey

This week is Super Doubles, an event HT periodically offers, where they will double coupons $1.98 or less.

        • The Sandifers

Thanks! I guess what is posted on the website is for what they do everyday when they double coupons .99 or less…which I didn't know they did all the time till a friend told me just now.

          • Guest

Yes, Bi Lo doubles daily too and they don't have a limit to the number of coupons you can use. Food Lion is the only grocer around me (Charlotte area) that won't double.

    • Amyzcakes

Little dissapointed with items not being on sale but still did pretty well. $58 marked down to $27. But I got a few items not on sale that I needed also.

    • Robinsonbrooksd

Harris Teeters doubles coupons up to 0.99 everyday. Super Doubles – the coupon value of 0.99 is looked upon at $1.98 v/s 0.99. What that mean for you is – a coupon up to $1.98 will double. A coupon valued at $1.50 will double to $3.00. A coupon that is valued at $1.99 will only be $1.99. A coupon valued at $1.98 will be $3.96. I must advise you to learn the rules before visiting the store. You can only use 20 coupons, per person, PER DAY total for the entire shopping trip. Only 3 of like coupons can be used per order. There appears to be slight differences between doubles, triples, and Super Doubles. You can also ask for a copy of the coupon policy for customer service. Some stores have them on site.

      • savingtime/money

These are the normal rules only 3 alike and only 20 per day per card. I notice that you can use more than 3 internet q Use to be only 3 per trip But todayi used 5 no problem, Also remineder if the item is made free not over will be taken off As in 150 = take 3.00 off but the item was 2.75 It will be fre but only 2.75 will come off not 3,00)

        • rexxtigger

In my HT, you can only use 2 internet :(

    • savingtime/money

I am on a HIGH!! THANKS TO YOU ALL HERE!! I Just saved over $126.00 in grocery all because I used your list and cut and printed !!

    • Bugaboobags

Bryers Yo Crunch Yogurt is 2/$4 had two $1.00 off coupons…I got 2 FREE and will have two happy girls : ) thy LOVE it!

Several items on this list were not on sale or not the price listed here…I just used other coupons and got a bucnch of groceries for nothing

    • Donna

According to the online shopping site for HT, the Lysol Neutra Air that are normally $3.79 are VIC specials and are on sale for $3 each (10 oz size). If you use the $1.50 off coupon with the super double, those would be FREE!

Haven't made my trip yet to confirm in the store…

    • Lori

Thank you so much for all your hard work!!!

    • Angela

At my HT I got Nestle Toll House refrigerated cookie dough for free. It was on sale for 2/$4 and I had a $1 coupon from either SS or RP.

    • danica

has anyone actually seen the 4 way nasal spray on sale at their HT? my fiance uses this stuff religiously and its so expensive, so if it is on sale and with double coups, i'm going to get several. thinking that it being on sale is too good to be true since i've found other things at my HT (nashville, tn) that are not on sale, but on this list.

    • Bridget

The HT in Durham, NC told me today that they would not take coupons that are equal to or over the value of the item. So, I tried to buy the Barilla Plus pasta that is $4/2, and I had the $1 coupon that doubles. The manager said that they would not accept this coupon. Why do they do Super Doubles if they try to exclude everything possible? I'm not sure that it is worth the effort to shop HT anymore.

      • Lala

I used the same coupon…and had no problems.

      • Denise

I also used the coupon with no problem. The register automatically took it and made it free with no overage. This was at the HT in Greensboro, NC on Battleground.

      • Glenn

This is not true at all stores. That was just an example of bad customer service. Any coupon that exceeds the item value will need an override. However, most customer service clerks wont override it that way. Instead, they will type in the price of the item and then scan the coupon. The coupon will take off the amount of that item and the product will be free.

    • The Starr

The HT in Virginia told me that I could no longer separate my shoppping order. I bought 6 pillsbury cinnamon rolls for 1.00 each. I gave her a coupon for 1.oo off of 2. This makes the rolls free. The price totals to 8 cents. I then get a catalina back for 3.00 off your next shopping order and use it for the rest of my items. Has any other HT mention this to anyone? Is this a HT policy at check out? So I decided to go in the next day any buy only my rolls, get the catalina and take the items to my car and then return into the store to shop. The coupon I used did not have a 9 it has a 5. My girlfriend called me that same day and they told her they would do this only this one time but they will not separate orders anymore.

    • Some of the coupons I have printed from the above links say on them “do not double”. And to get the product for free or cheaper, you'd have to double it. SO does HT double them with the Super Doubles, even if the coupon says do not double?

Coupons that begin with a 5 will double (if it begins with a 9 it will not). At my Harris Teeter they double – the only way (I think) they will not is if the cashier manually enters it – which some stores do if they say “DO NOT DOUBLE/TRIPLE” HTH Anna

New to all this…. Harris Teeter confuses me a little. The web site says they will accept one coupon for bogo free items. So if you have more than one coupon you would have to actually buy one and get one free for each coupon, correct? This is different from bilo where you can use a coupon for each item even if it is bogo. Just want to make sure before i go…. Don't know why but I get a little intimidated when I do something wrong at the checkout.

correct, you may only use one coupon for the first item (the one you actually pay for) if you have a coupon for $/2 items you must buy 3 to use the coupon (on the two you are actually paying for) I know it's confussing because they ring up half price, that's just the way they think of it. HTH, don't give up, it will get easier the more you do it.

    • I had an AMAZING week during Super Doubles at Harris Teeter! I spent $44 for $269 worth of groceries! Visit http://www.homemakingmom.com to see pics and details. I hope this helps any of you who plan to do some final super double coupons during this last day of the promotion. Thanks!

This might be too late for anyone to use, but Kellogg's has a deal where, between 11/6 and 11/28, if you buy 3 pop-tarts, you get $2 in Catalina. 4 is $3, 5 is $4.

Pop Tarts are $2 per box, so with a doubled $1-off-3 coupon, you can get 3 boxes (8 each) for $2 total.

(If my math is right, you can get 4 boxes for $3, 5 for $4, and 6 for $4.)

Are catlina deals reusable? I might try it again tonight.

paid $233.79 for $566.49 worth food and cleaning supplies over the course of the week.. In case you are bad at math that is $332.70 in savings! For my very first week of couponing I think that is awesome!! But I can learn and do even better.. pretty soon I will be like one of the pros. The great thing was that they had a ton of stuff on sale that my family eats all the time, so I stocked up the entire house and I shouldn't have to go grocery shopping for at least 3 months, no joke!!

When shopping in my store here in VA, I was charged very differently then the prices described on here.. The Marie Callendar bakes were $6.29 each, the Alexia products were $4.49 each, the Al Fresco sausages were NOT bogo, the Tyson Anytizers were $8.29, the clorox 2 was $6.49, and the muellers pasta was $1.39… Anyone else?
