Looks to be a lot of good deals! I'm SUPER (pun intended) excited about tomorrow! I'm still a little sad that its not triples, but super doubles is looking to be good this time around!

      • stef m

It has been a really good super doubles (lots of useful stuff!) but I do miss triples too.

    • Marlene

Jenny – thanks for this list and checking all these prices (yeah!). A couple of notes:
DeWafelbakker Pancakes SS 10/31 $1/1 makes that free
Bestlife butter spread is free with coupon
Quaker oats are 50cents after coupon (not free)
And the Intl delight coupons mentioned are for Nestle (not the same)
Also I just got the RP 11/06 mailer and the Crisco coupon is 0.55/1 = 89cents (your insert may be different) and there is also a .25/1 Q for McCormick spice or extract in RP 11/06 (Charlotte area)

      • Thanks! I think by the end of this my eyes were getting crossed :) I just added/fixed everything.

        • Jberrett

Thank you soooo much Jenny. Kudos on the great list. I saw where you fixed the printables. Had to get a cup of coffee, I still can't get anything to print.

      • lovingcoupons

For the best life butter do we just use 1 one dollar off or two..i do not get it
the butter is 2.35 b1g1 so i would still pay the 2.35 and using one of the 1 dollar off and it doubling wouldn't that only take off 2 dollars leaving me with .35 cents to pay for both?? So do i use one coupon or two coupons for the B1G1 free items

        • Anonymous

The best life butters are a 1.17 each. B1G1 at Harris Teeter means they each ring up half price, so you don’t even need to buy two.

    • harbinfamily

I am so excited! You've done a great job Jenny! Once again you've gone above and beyond to help my family!

I am pretty sure I got a coupon for De Waffulbakers $1.00 off… that would make them free this week.

      • Bholmes75

are they good. Somehow frozen pancakes just don't seem appealing to me

        • Mariannakeeth

I precook 2 weeks worth of pancakes for my kids and add diff things to it – pumpkin spice, choc chips, raisins, bananas, butterscotch and rolled oats – and I freeze them in separate bags after they cool – take them out in the morning and microwave for 2 min. They taste great – so I can't imagine store bought would be that much worse…or you could just make your own…it's pretty cheap – not free, but variety…

        • Bev

I'm not a fan of frozen pancakes usually, but I LOVE deWafflebakers pancakes. I only tried them because I got a coupon for a free bag several months back (a door-to-door campaign, where they left coupons on peoples' doors!), and they are really good. I rate them much higher than the other brands out there, hands down. :-)

I have never had them… I figured for free, they are worth a try! I will let you know tomorrow! hahaha…

    • Bholmes75

isn't there a pillsbury deal where you buys 10/$10 and a pillsbury catalina on top of it

      • Dttaylo2

I bought 6 and got $3.00 back for future purpose

    • Bholmes75

barilla pasta is also b2g3 and so it jollytime popcorn

    • Elizabethconner

Is anyone having trouble printing Q's off of the Q printer

      • tarheelbaby1

Yes, I am too. It just stalls and nothing prints for me. I've never had that trouble. Not sure what's going on.

        • Ljohnson2215

I am having the same problem….no online coupons will print.

          • ninab

it keeps shutting my computer down when I try to print the coupons :(

            • tarheelbaby1

Okay, well at least we know we’re not alone. I’m afraid I “wasted” a few prints by unsuccessfully trying to print a few I want. I guess I’ll wait until tomorrow and try again. Sounds like something must be going on with coupons.com? None of the coupons.com q’s or bricks are printing for me, but everything else on the web and otherwise prints just fine from my computer.

            • tarheelbaby1

Yeah, can't get the Nivea one to save my life here. It better not say that I've printed it already or I”m gonna really be ticked! Shows that it loaded and printed but nothing went through! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

            • tarheelbaby1

              Same for me

          • Reneec11202

Me too!! wonder what is going on????

      • Amber

YES! It keeps telling me to install the coupon printer software and then it will not load correctly. I'm so aggrevated right now!

        • Casselborn

If you are using FireFox you will have trouble. Use Explorer and you should be able to print.

    • Jenny, thanks for putting together a great list of deals and all the time and effort you put into it!!! I'm going to share your list with my readers and I'll be at HT tomorrow with my coupons!! :)

    • Shannon

dont forget the gain dish liquid is on sale again for 1.99 with a -1.00/1 q in the
pg insert awhile back….yea i love free dish soap!

      • Meredith

Also, if you sign up for Seventh Generation online (there is a link above), there is a link for $1 off any Seventh Generation product. HT has the BIG bottles of dish soap on sale for 1.99. So, you get them free. I signed my husband and I up. So I got two coupons. Then, I got to the store and realized there was 1.00 off any Seventh Gen. product so I got three very large free dish soaps. I love getting them too so I thought you might like this tip!

    • Raynesmw

I found some coupons in Rite Aid near the door on a Dorito tear pad $1 off 2. I am also SUPER excited (I know I stole that, but it was cute!). I have started putting back all my items for Thanksgiving and Christmas cooking that are going on special. My mom and sister will be psyched that they will not have to buy all this stuff when the baking comes rolling around. Thanks, Jenny for all you do!!

    • Melissa T

Yay! I was hoping that the rumor I heard was true! Can't wait to see what all I can get for free!! Thanks Jenny!

    • Jennifer C.

I can't find the coupon for Arnold bread. Anyone else able to find it in the SS 10/3 or anywhere else??

      • mamac

It was not in my insert either.

    • Thepierces

Where can I find the “tear pads” referenced in some of the deals? Thanks!

      • Cheryl

They are the little pads that are on the aisles in the stores sometimes.

    • Renee

None of my bricks coupons or printing. Is anyone else having this problem or found a solution?

      • Binkle

Same Problem here. I’ve tried 2 different computers and both keep telling me to reinstall even thought I have been printing from coupons.com just fine. Not sure what on earth is going on.

      • Ironically, NO coupons I have tried to print tonight have worked! Bricks, coupons.com, even email coupons. Hubby is in IT and said nothing on our part-BUT I find it very convenient..
I just want my coupons! I only have 3 more q’s for the limit

      • Cinderelligirl

Yes I have been have fighting with my couputer and printer for about an hour, so I'm not sure what is going on.

        • Jen

I have to use Safari instead of Firefox to print out some of my coupons. Use a different browser.

      • Mwagoner6

having trouble printing also, have printed for weeks , no problems, but cant tonight. I have tried reinstalling everything and still no printing. Any help out there?

      • mamac

        YES, same problem!

      • Lakn44

Same problem! Im furious! I didnt realize there was a problem. I hit print on a lot of them on my laptop and when I plugged the printer in, only smartsource coupons printed. I tried again with the printer connected, same issue and it crashed my computer! According to the site the coupons printed, so Ive reached the limit without getting any!

        • tarheelbaby1

Same for me. I am so sad! It didn't work last night and still isn't working this morning. I've printed q's successfully for months. This is the first issue I've had, and I have no idea how to fix it.

      • Nona

This happened to me about a month ago! I still havent been able to print ANY bricks or ANY coupons from coupons.com
I can only print smartsource coupons and target.com coupons!!
i have no idea how to fix it…and I have tried EVERYTHING!
I have just given up and am missing alot of deals that I would love to take advantage of…but there is nothing I can do about it!
I would love any suggestions from anyone tech savy!

    • Looks great! Can't wait 'til tomorrow!!! Thanks!

    • Michelle

The Arnolds Bread said there was a coupon in SS 10/3 but it was not in my insert so I went back to the insert preview for that week and it wasn't listed in the insert preview either. Is it for a different week?

      • Katie B

Sometimes they just decided not to advertise in your area. I live in Rock Hill, SC, and get inserts from both the Rock Hill paper and the Charlotte, NC paper. That q was in the Charlotte insert, but not the Rock Hill. I was disappointed, it's my favorite bread!

        • Courtney

hmm thats good to know katie, I live in Rock hill also and was wondering about the Herald and the observer if there was differences. I did find out today that the Ht in ft mill had a few items that were not on sale that were on this list. I ran by the one in Rock hill to pick up some things they were out of and the items were on sale at that one.

        • Elizabethconner

I get the charlotte paper also and I didnt have any qs in mine either

    • Jonibarnwell

None of my coupons will ever scan at the store. I am afraid they are not going to type them in one time and I am going to be in trouble…Can anyone help me with my computer/printer settings so that they scan??

      • do you have a printer that does not print clear ?? i have a laser and it is old and it's not the best but it is not “smeared” – if the “bar code” is smeared then that's why it's not reading – or if really faint —- that's all i know !

        • Amy M

A while back someone said that setting their printer to greyscale on a draft or quick setting helped this – HTH

      • Guest

Honestly it may be time to invest in a new printer if yours is printing that badly (and if low ink is not the problem). You can get a cheap one at Walmart for around $30 that does just fine.

    • Susan

Does anyone know if those McCormick “save 1.50 on your next order” coupons that were printing, do those count towards our 20? I've got 2. They say MQ on the top. I may just go with 18 plus those and not risk it.

      • Jalonzo

You can use MORE than 20, but they will not double. Give all your doubling coupons first- keep the others in your hannd- THEN give the higher value ones just in case.

      • Marlene

Anything that prints at the register generally doesn't double. If you look at the barcode starts with a 9. Also 'blinkies' from the red boxes in the aisle next to various products also start with a 9 (they usually are marked Do Not Double or not subject to doubling start with 9s and they won't double either).

      • Guest

The 20 coupon limit is only for coupons that double. If you check out their policy, it says limit 20 coupons doubled per day and *all others taken at face value*. The Mccormick cats are not going to double anyway if you got them from HT (cats at HT start w/ a '9', and coupons that start w/ a '9' do not double at HT), so you can use 20 doubling coupons and then use your 2 $1.50 cats last if you wish. It is probably best to hand over all doubling coupons before any non-doubling coupons, just to make sure nothing goes wrong in the register in the process. :-)

    • Mommysauls

The Nestle water is listed to be free with both Q, but when I printed the 2/2 Q it says the multi pack has to be 20 or larger??

    • marlinsmom

Thanks to everyone who is so helpful on here!! I have one more question about the number of coupons I can use. I understand that I can use 20 that can be super doubled, but if I have more than that can I still use them? They'd just be scanned for the amount on coupon and not doubled?? Just thought I'd check on using the $5 off Olay product when you buy a Secret product (maybe they'll have travel size at my store, since I've already done the CVS deal)

      • RebeccaFer

Correct, you can use more than 20 but only those 20 will double. If you have coupons for $2 or more, like the $5 Olay, those will work at face value. :)

        • Jalonzo

Yes, the limit is 20 that will be doubled

          • Sparklecat2009

I was very fortunate this morning and I had 22 that doubled. I pulled my Do Not Doubles to the end b/c I did not count them in my 20. The cash register doubled them too! The manager just laughed and said not to worry about it!! Love HT!!

            • Bholmes75

              That was nice of her

            • Katie B

Wow, I've used more than 20 before and the register is programmed NOT to double them, they didn't double. I wonder what was messed up with the system… Awesome, though!

    • Renee

Has anyone been able to figure out the printing problem?

      • Reneec11202

Not that i know of I am still having trouble!

    • Lori

On the B2G3 Green Giant deal, how many coupons are we allowed to use on that?

      • brenda z

usually the system will only allow you ot use coupons on the ones that you “pay for” so only 2. Now sometimes cashiers will push through the extra cuz they won't see it that way. It just depends.

    • trish

Simply Orange juice is on sale 2/$6 and there’s a $1 printable on Facebook making it $1.00 – http://www.facebook.com/tridentgum?v=app_10531514314#!/simplyorangejuice?v=app_10442206389

    • trish

Thanks for the list! I just shopped at the HT in Raleigh (Edwards Mill), and the Al Fresco Sausage was not BOGO – I bought 2 thinking they just didn't have the tags out yet, but they rang up full price (3.99) – still a good deal @ 1.99, but not free.

      • Hoodo

trish-the only BOGO for al fresco is the Wild blueberry breakfast sausage

      • Meredith

Same for me. I was bummed because I don’t get to buy a lot of meat.

    • blessed

Jenny, I can never thank you enough for the lists you post. I read somewhere that you don't even have a Harris teeter! You amaze me! And all that with 3 kids! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Harris Teeter is my primary grocery store now. I used to NEVER shop there! God Bless You!

    • myria_hall

BUYERS BEWARE!!! I made an early trip to HT this morning and what a disappointment! I had my shopping list (thanks Jenny!) and about 16 coupons – the vast majority of which were printed online. Of all the coupons I had, only TWO doubled (and yes, all were manufacturer under the $1.99 limit and almost all started with a 5)! When I asked about this, I was told that they have very strict restrictions on doubling internet printed coupons because of issues with duplication. I even asked which ones doubled and they said they would have no way of knowing. VERY FRUSTRATING – I think next time I will just stick with Publix!!! I live in the Charleston, SC area and am curious if anyone else will experience similar issues.

      • S_sando

Did you go to the Publix on Savannah Hwy? It's not worth loading up and going if they aren't doubling them

        • myria_hall

I went to the new Harrist Teeter on Highway 41 in Mount Pleasant.

      • Carlene

Which HT In Charleston did you go to ?

      • reply

It all depends which HT you go to. Mine allows me to double any that start with 5, even if it says do no double. But one close by won't…. just depends on your store. So sorry it was disappointing. Couponing is always a learning experience.

        • myria_hall

Which HT do you go to?

      • myria_hall

The HT I went to was the new one on Highway 41 in Mt. P.

      • Shicks64

my customer service just pull from register and took care of it.gave me the moey.try that.

      • Wdra0632

hi myria, i live in monroe nc just outside of charlotte and i had the exact same problems this morning at my ht. unlike you i don't have a publix so i will stick with bi-lo. so fusterating with the online coupons at ht.

      • Jellodaisy2003

        Hi Myria,

Which Charleston store did you go to? I am on the peninsula, but normally drive to Publix. Thanks!

      • Wilsonsj

I went to the HT on James Island this morning and didn't have a problem with my internet coupons doubling.

    • Catherine

Does anyone know if the product-specific Mfg Coupons that print from the Catalina machine will double at HT?

      • Check the barcode. If the very first digit off to the front is a 5 then yes they will double. If it's not a 5, then sorry no doubles.

        • Bholmes75

Jenny just FYI the stores in charlotte will not double a coupon when it says DND even tho it still has a 5.

          • deniseCLT

i live in clt and my stores do it. i go to HTs in matthews and the one at brookdale shopping center. and the one uptown.

          • laura

I also live in Charlotte. The one on Harris and Mallard Creek has always doubled my DND as has the one on Mallard Creek and Mallard Creek Church. I've only been to the One on George Lillies a few times, but they've also doubled all of mine without a problem.

            • laura

Oh and the one on East Blvd. doubles too. Man I really get around to the Harris teeters in Charlotte…

          • Guest

There are a lot of HT stores in Charlotte and your comment does not apply to all of them. My store lets the coupon double if it doubles automatically when scanned.

        • JL

I spoke to a manger today at my Ht in Nashville. They are very strict about DND no matter if they start with a 5 or not. i asked her why some stores dbl and others do not. She said that thay follow corparate policy and it is not to dbl. She also said that if a single cashier dbls a coupon that says dnd it with make to her cash drawer short so possible the cahier gets in trouble. I think that everyone needs to check with thier local store manager before trying to use dnd coupons.

          • MelRae

Yep, and this is a pretty recent development, too. They did not do this 2 years ago when I first started doing super doubles and triples. The thrill is gone! lol!

          • Jackie

was this the store on 21st ave?

      • shopper

In my experience catalinas for products don't double and this is indicated in tiny print somewhere.

        • laura

All Catalinas say DND on them. Even if they started with a 5, they're different looking then other coupons so they'd be easy for the cashier to recognize and pull out.

    • Shopper

All my printable and regular coupons except the Bush's grilling beans worked fine at the HT on 55 in Apex, NC. I did not use any that said DND. I think that item was on sale but the tag wasn't up yet. Had a lot of catalinas to use with the barilla sauce. Got some awesome deals and loads of free stuff. Love HT so much more than Kroger these days. Plus their cashiers are so much nicer :)

    • Megak

-$1 off Gain Dish Soap PG 10/10, 10/31
–> This is admirable but slightly expired before these deals started ;) I can't find one in the new PG November book sadly :(

      • Sparklecat2009

Mine do not expire until 11/30/10.

    • Couponshopperiam

Lowe's Food is doing the similar thing Myria. I went last night to purchase Lance crackers and the cashier told me if they didn't scan the first time, they would not take them.

    • TabithaIlges

The pringle catalina didn't work for us this morning at Harris Teeter in Gastonia, nc. There is a new catalina out on Hamburger, Tuna and Chicken Helper. puchase between 11/1 and 11/28 buy 3 get 1.50 buy 4 get 2.00, buy 5 or more get 3.00 off next hamburger, tuna or chicken purchase.

    • TabithaIlges

If any of you bought the totino pizza rolls recently and cut the 1.00/3 coupons off the back, it will make for the Totinos pizzas being 3 for 1.00 this week. Great deal especially for kids.

    • Cookiegirl09

Did Anyone figure out how to fix the coupon printing problem? Still having issues, I've dont everything I can to fix it. Please Help!

      • I saw some folks saying it worked in a different browser but I think coupons.com who runs bricks has a massive issue rather than it being something on your computers end.

        • Sparklecat2009

I found the elusive Martha White coupon by clicking on your coupons.com link. I looked all over for it last week and probably tried half of the zip codes in the US!!!! BTW I have had no issues with printing coupons and I am using Google Chrome.

        • Emhcoupon

Do we know when this will be fixed? I”m real bummed I can't print these for doubles.

      • Renee

I've tried everything including downloading 2 new browsers. Also, coupons I downloaded from 2 days ago are not having the same problem. So I have no idea. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. If anyone finds a solutions please let us know. Thanks!

        • Sweetssaver

Sorry I meant coupons I downloaded 2 days ago are having the same problem.

        • me

          use Firefox

    • Bholmes75

      did you guys use IE.

    • Jenisita18

Hi, I know this is probably a silly question. When the deal is B2G3 – and it says limit 10…does that mean you can only buy 10 for the whole length of the promotion (two of the B2G3 deals) or just in one single transaction? Thanks in advance

      • Bholmes75

        10 in 1 transaction

      • Katie B

In a single transaction. I usually pick up another 10 on another day.

    • I had an awesome trip to HT today! total only $8.88 for tons of stuff! Thanks for the list!
      Check it out! http://crunchydeal.blogspot.com/2010/11/harris-teeter-super-doubles-time-look.html

    • terrikp

I just got my eVic email, and it doesn't say anything about super doubles! Maybe it's just in certain stores???

      • Guest

It’s prominently displayed on http://www.harristeeter.com if that makes you feel any better.

      • laura

Mine says it up on the top. Its easy to miss.

    • heather

Just got some Totinos pizza rolls and on the back of the box is a coupon for $1/3 on the pizzas….makes for .33 pizzas! Also, on the Pillsbury biscuits there are coupons for .35/1 any sweet rolls stuck to the package. I endend up using those instead of what I had cause it made the deal even sweeter :) I can't wait to go back tomorrow!

    • Jennifer

Anyone know how to get the Got2b coupon? Thanks.

      • Clarkwoman

I think they ran out on facebook. I didn't get to print it either.

      • Bholmes75

    • Bowtifan

The Bricks coupons are not printing for me today. Is anybody else having this problem?

      • Mam

I cant print anything from bricks either and Target coupons wont load.

Ive contacted Target and they were of no help. I contacted coupons.com who sent a generic reply apply reinstalling the printer. I contacted them again and no reply. Super frustrating since it seems that its just some of us. Im running Windows 7 in case that might be part of the issue.

      • Guest

I tried last night & today & they are not printing. Seems other people are having the same problem. Not sure why.

      • Guest

Just saw this post from Jenny below: “I saw some folks saying it worked in a different browser but I think coupons.com who runs bricks has a massive issue rather than it being something on your computers end. “

      • Rlynn103

I thought it was just my computer. I haven't been able to print ANYTHING from bricks. I can't even open the coupons on the target website.

        • Cweissenburger

my computer did a search and said it was a firewall on their end but that my end was clear

      • Lori

I had problems a few weeks ago with Smart Source. I updated the java on my computer, and the problem was fixed. Might try that?

      • Cweissenburger

        yes – so frustrating!!!

    • april

Can anyone tell me what zip code you need to put in for the Red Plum online coupons to get the Jimmy Dean Skillets coupon to come up?

      • Bholmes75

if you go to redplum.com you don’t need to enter a zip

    • guest

Quick Question: With HT B1G1 can you buy one item for half price or are you required to purchase two?

      • Ljohnson2215

one item will ring up at half price.

      • Bholmes75

only with the b2g3 deals requires that you buy all 5 with a regular bogo is is not reguired that you buy both.

    • Guest

Had a great trip to Harris Teeter this afternoon! Got $18 worth of groceries for $0.39. I actually had a negative balance at the end ($-0.62). Not exactly sure how that happened, really, but the manager did have do an override on two of my coupons, so it possibly had something to do with that. They made me pick out a candy bar from the aisle to make up for the difference and I walked out of there paying 39 cents. Thanks Jenny for all that you do!

      • Tammy Hylton

I must've shopped your HT right after you did because the clerk was telling me the story about a customer that had a credit after coupons and they had to sell you a candybar. Today was my 1st time “couponing”. Didn't do as well as you but did save $35.

    • kcreviews

I got over $60 worth of groceries for $28! AND, I found Sudaphed PE (which my husband takes religiously) on clearance for $2.82–I had 2 $2off q's so I got 2 boxes for $.82 each!

    • Ctomblin

Don't see it on your lists, but Activia yogurt 4packs were $1.99 this mnorning – free with $1 coupon.

    • Clarkwoman

has anyone else had HT tell them they can only use one coupon per BOGO deal? doesn't make it nearly as sweet if you can only get one…unless I can ring it up seperatly. I can try that!! LOL

      • Jalonzo

They only accept coupons for the one you are buying- but you can just buy the 1 and then buy the other seperately.

      • Im4tnac

I was told that this morning at the HT in Brentwood, Tn ! I will have to go back this evening to get the deals.

        • susansaver

The HT on 21st Ave in Nashville does not care about this. You can buy as many BOGO items as you want and use coupons for each one. They will also double DND-5 coupons so if you're up in the area, it might be worth a trip to that store.

        • heather

I never shop at the Brentwood one in the morning. Those women are horrible and mean and definitely not coupon friendly.

      • Guest

Yes, that is actually their official policy which you can find on HTs website. It is very frustrating at times since in most cases you can usually purchase 1 item at a time and use 1 coupon and get the same deal that you could get if they'd just go ahead and let you purchase 2 and use 2 coupons. Some stores may let that rule go unnoticed b/c they may realize how silly it seems, but many do enforce it since it is the official rule.

HT has the new Bailey’s non-alcholic coffee creamer for 2.16, there is a $1 off one on coupons.com (zip code 28787) making it $.16, it’s delicious : )

      • MarySC1000

I couldn't find the coupon on the site but went to baileys website and it linked me directly to it.

    • Jonibarnwell

Can I use coupons that have Target logos on them at HT? or other logos like Kroger?

      • Katie B.

Mine doesn't let me. But it's worth a shot, I've heard some stores take them.

      • Guest

If the coupon is actually a manufacturer's coupon starting with a '5' or '9' in the barcode, many HT's will take them since they actually are a manufacturer's coupon that just happens to have another store's logo on them. But some will turn them down. You can try to point out the fact that it says 'manufacturer's coupon' and see if they change their minds. If, however, it is truly a store coupon (barcode starting with something that is NOT a '5' or '9') then no, HT does not take them per official policy (unless it's for $$ off your total transaction amount, such as $5 off a $50 grocery order).

    • Heather

The Nestle ready to bake cookies were on sale 2 for $4.00 and I had 2 $1.00 coupons from somewhere. FREE COOKIES…yay!

      • Katie B

it's from RP 10/3, I know what I'm bringing for my daughter's 'special snack' next friday!

      • Phyllis

You can also find a $1 off coupon at Verybestbaking.com

      • laura

I saw that today too! I'm going back tomorrow to get some free cookies!

    • Lori

Let me preface by saying that DH had a stroke several years ago, and as a result, doesn't always process language well, oral or written.

The nearest HT is 45 minutes away, but DH had some errands to run in that area, so I handed him the list and the coupons, along with some basic instructions. Including the instruction to use only 20 coupons and save the rest for another trip.

He called to let me know he left the VIC card at home, and I reminded him he could use our phone number instead. So, hours later, he shows up at home with three receipts in hand and a trunkload of groceries.

Turns out, somehow he managed to go through the line 3 times, and used 20 coupons each time! There was a different cashier each time, but I think he picked cashiers based on the length of the line. He just didn't realize he wasn't supposed to do this!

But, not only did all 60 coupons double, they DOUBLED. Meaning, we actually got overage on the free items. Don't know how that happened, I had never seen it happen before. But, I'm seeing some people comment that they had a negative balance, so I'm wondering if the compters aren't programmed right on this sale. (In our favor, mind you, but curious…)

I guess the overage makes up for the mistakes he made on the shopping trip. He picked up 3 butters, not one (we got the low price on just one). He decided he didn't want just fettucine Buitoni, and picked up some other stuff that was much more expensive.

At the end of the day, he spent $53.50 on $259.04 of groceries, for a savings of 80%. (What kills me is that if he didn't make the mistakes, it would have been closer to 90%!)

      • Guest

Since the coupons doubled completely (giving overage) I'm guessing they might have had to double his coupons manually. Do you see 'MO' next to any of the coupon amount? If so, that stands for 'manager override' and means they put them in manually to double. Maybe you have a really nice store that just decided to double everything for your DH. OR check the receipts and see if the VIC card number is the same on all of them – if it's not, then it's possible that when he got to the line and they asked and he didn't actually have the card with him, they could have scanned either their own card or another customer's card, which would have allowed all the coupons to double b/c the register wouldn't know that all 3 transactions were for the same household. Just a thought. Glad he had a successful trip, especially since it could have gone very wrong since he misunderstood. Maybe your DH is just super-lucky and maybe you should ALWAYS send him out to do the coupon shopping! LOL

    • Kastucker73

If anyone still has some Glade coupons, the jar candles are 2/$5 (I had a $1.50/2 printable coupon) and the oil candle refills are $2.99 (also w/ a $1.50/2).

I also found Succes rice on sale 2/$5. This was the box w/ 6 bags. I used a $1 coupon from All You and paid 50 cent.

    • savingnana

I haven't shopped at Harris Teeter before, can you get the card and shop the same day????

      • Shawna

Yes! That is what my mother did. She went to the Customer Service desk, applied for a card, got it, and used it that day.

        • Cinderelligirl

i just did it 2 days ago so excited! this is my 1st double coupon week ever!!! I'm loving it!

      • Mary Ellen

You can not sign up for evic and get it the same day, It will be the next week but yes, your card will work the same day.

    • Chris H.

Has anyone been able to find the Crunch Master crackers? I've had no luck at two stores.

      • Raynesmw

I found them up around the deli, after searching the cracker aisle for 20 minutes.

      • Rdaug

These crackers are great! I buy them quite frequently and was glad to see them on sale! They are in the deli department with the specialty cheeses. Try them!

        • Marlene

          Thanks! I couldn't find them – I'll look again.

      • Beth

these crackers are sitting over the cheese counter in the deli. great!

    • Reiber3

The Nashville TN store does not have the Alfresco chicken sausage on sale :(

      • Jen

According to Express Lane, only the Wild Blueberry Breakfast Chicken Sausage is BOGO. At Belle Meade, it wasn't marked, but did ring up BOGO.

    • Renee

How many like items can you get using coupons? If you have overage on a coupon at Harris Teeter is that applied towards your balance or is the coupon adjusted?

      • Phyllis

HT will double up to 20 coupons per day with a VIC card. Any coupons over the 20 limit will be accepted at face value. If you have an overage, the register should automatically adjust the value down to the purchase price of the item.

      • $avin'some$

You can use 3 like manufacturer coupons and 2 like printable coupons.

      • Elizabeth

        it's adjusted : (

    • Mommyx6

hey all, NEWBIE QUESTION. I have my list all ready but well over 20 coupons. can i stop at 2 different HT's back to back to get them to double or is it only 20 coupons per vic card per day??? Thanks

      • Christina

It will only double..(or triple on triple coupon weeks) 20 coupons per VIC card per day. You can use more, but it will only double or triple 20.

        • mommyx6

thanks, guess i'm going back tomorrow to finish my shopping :)

      • Ucmba97

I have a VIC card (used my home phone) and my husband signed up for a VIC card (used his cell phone). So I shop with one card, put those items in the card, and then go back in and shop with the 2nd card. Easy way to get 40 coupons in one visit during a sale. But then I drive 25 miles to get to HT, so I don't want to be forced to go 2 days in a row (unless I have 80 coupons worth to use, lol). Good Luck.

        • bev

We have 2 VIC cards, too, but one HT store I shopped at didn't like me using 2 cards in one day. What's their problem?!

      • miss piggy

r u trying to beat the system. That is why HTs prices are higher. Why don't people just play by the rules

        • Krissi

I'm pretty sure she was asking a question about what the rule was. Pay better attention before you criticize someone.

      • Krissi

Ignore the comment from the other person. It's human nature to try to get what you want at the best deal possible. You can not go to two in one day b/c it is based on your VIC card. Prioritize your coupons and use your first twenty on the first day and then go back on the following day. Consider that a lot of products will sell out and try to get those first. I know that my HT gets a new truck load on Thurs nights so I go on Wed morning and Friday morning. Welcome to couponing!!

    • Lady 608

My favorite store is actually Publix. I was a loyal Walmart shopper until I started using coupons and shopping at Publix, Harris Teeter, BiLo.

I find that shopping at Harris Teeter is too big of a problem. They treat you like you are taking the coupon money out of the cashier's pocket and cheating the store out of something. The one in Mt. Pleasant is the worst. Publix doesn't limit the amount of coupons and doesn't have all the exemptions to their coupons policy. If it is a buy one get one free you can't use two coupons where Publix will let you and Publix will also let you use up to 3 coupons, competitors, their coupon and a manufacturer's on one item. NO Harris Teeter's employee's attitude at the three stores I've been to is less than welcoming. I don't need the Spanish Inquisition every time I shop and the embarrassment that goes with it. Also they dont' take competitors coupons either. PUBLIX is my choice and the cheapest place to shop. I save at least 60% every time I go and love how they welcome the customer to use coupons, actually encourage it.

      • Jamason79

The new Harris Teeter on 41 is where I go and they are extremely nice there. The one on Long Point is the worst. I didn't even bother going to that one because they always treated me like crap! I know exactly what you are talking about! If you haven't tried the new store though…you should. The manager there coupons himself and he loves to help others. The cashiers are much more polite than the other HT's in our area also. I got 80 bucks worth of stuff for only 20 there last night….and I'm gonna go back this evening.

      • Kt

We have a store in TN that treats me like that. I told (HER) the supervisor what i thought of her attitude last time i was in. I've been working retail for 22 yrs now & i don't treat/make a customer feel that way.

      • miss piggy

yeah well publix doesn't double coupons either.

      • Donna

I love Publix too, but I've never had a problem at the HT on Folly Road. If you haven't been there, try that one out. I haven't had any attitude issues there, though one time I did have to ask a cashier to have a manager come over to correct a coupon that should have doubled that didn't.

Publix only doubles coupons up to $0.50 while HT doubles up to $0.98 and they have sales that are just as good, so I go wherever the sale is best that week. I've never seen Publix allow that many coupons per item at the Publix I go to. That might have been a fluke!

Looking back over my spreadsheets, I've saved between 75 to 93% at HT and 50-75% at Publix, strictly based on the items I buy, of course.

I go where the savings are! :) Try the HT on Folly if you haven't already!

    • Ginz_2001

      • Guest

If it is actually a Publix store coupon (meaning if the barcode starts with a number that is NOT a '5' or a '9') then HT won't take it at all. If it is a manufacturer's coupon but just happens to have 'publix' written on it, SOME ht's will take it and if it starts w/ the number '5' it will double. But some HT's will not take it at all with another store's name/logo on it.

        • Bholmes75

Be careful they may not consider publix a competitor and no they won't double competitor coupons

    • heather

Just got back and was browsing the soda isle and found the Ginger ale 2-liters on sale for $1.00 each. Best part was the coupon hanging from each bottle for $1/3 2-liters…..so buy 3 and get them for .33 per bottle! I'm stocking up for the holidays:)

    • Pflanagan27

on cambells site; there is a $1.50 off 3 cans chunky or healthy harvest.. that would be $3 off 3.. making them FREE

    • Pflanagan27

also Smart Source .. $1.00 off one Colgate Toothbrush.. on sale for $1.99 so its FREE; also Flinstones Vitamins $1.00 off on Coupon Mom on sale for $6.99 making it $4.99; colgate site has $.75 off toothpaste on sale for $1.99 making it .49

    • JenR

HT on 21st in Nashville, TN had HALLS on clearance for $1.25 and $1.36. Double the 75 cent q from allyou, and free HALLS!! In the same bucket, I found Robitussin for $2.10 – double the $1 q from a while ago, and you have 10 cent Robitussin.

I had to put a few things back to make room in my 20 q total, but SO worth it!!

    • Jenn

I got 2 FREE bottles of Seventh Generation Dish soap with two $1.00 off coupon from this past Sundays Paper. The coupons doubled in value. It was on sale for $1.99. There was also a Katalin print out for $1.00 off 2 Dish Soaps. RedPlum

    • SM

The chicken sausage in Fort Mill, SC is not on sale when I went yesterday! But I spent $20 and save $42! whoohoo! I also had a coupon for Bailey's creamer for $1 so it was only $.16! There was also coupons at the pillsbury rolls for $1.00 off of 2, it didnt double but that made it $.50 per 5ct can of cinamon rolls!

      • Donna

I got 2 of those $1/2 pillsbury coupons at publix too. They don't say DND on them, so since it's Super Doubles, they should double to $2/2, right? They don't say DND and they start with a “5”.

I was planning on using them to get some free sweet rolls! :)

        • Amy

Not all DND5 coupons double anymore. I had some problems this time. The computer is catching them not the cashiers. Unfortunately, I have no idea which still double and which do not…HTH

          • Donna

Well, if it says DND, they might have fixed the registers to catch that since the cashier's don't always. I never plan on the DND ones doubling even if they do start with a 5, so that won't change anything for me. I have no problem with that in general – it's following the rules!

    • Ellen

      Thank you! smiles.

http://www.baileyscreamers.com/sp/coupons.aspx is where i found the 1 off coupon

The book says “Simply Delicious Holiday”

      • heather

    • Nancybgood14

For the Wilmington, NC On oleander HT i saw a buggy full of clearances pain and cough meds. All brands. so as little as 2.19. next to the self check out lane. and chap stick.

      • eb

Mine also had medicines on clearance rack- several brands like triaminic and vicks that have q's available. I got a 10 pack of Claritin-D for $1.45 after coupon. Too bad it was the only one they had

    • CouponKing

Tabasco is $1 and with $.75 q makes it FREE

      • mamac

There is also a .50 coupon from their site (and link on the coupon database) that would get it free too.

    • savingnana

I need some advice. I have only been doing coupons for a short while. On my shopping trips, I can only save about 50%. How can i do better?????? Help

      • Mary Ellen

Well, I don't know if you have been to one of Jenny's seminars but they are fabulous. Start by watching her videos online, One of the things you can do is to play the drug store game, you would be surprised how much money you can save that way. I save a lot by watching Jenny's list and stocking up for 6 weeks like Jenny recommends. I have also been able to help several local families. There is no lacking for people needing help in this economy. I don't know where you live but find you closest Harris Teeter or Kroger or BiLo or Lowes's foods >These stores double your coupons every day. You will be a pro in about 6 weeks , It won't take long, Just keep it up. One thing I keep hearing Jenny say is that it is ok to pay a little for our groceries. Good luck

      • Lori

The main trick is to build a stockpile of items you use when they are at their lowest price. Don't by toilet paper every week – buy loads of it when you see it on sale for $2.99/12 rolls. Many of us will keep a stockpile of 3-6 months of supplies available, so we can afford to wait until the next sale comes along.

Beyond that – there are tips and tricks on this website and others that can give you in's and out's for various stores in your area. You can be as OCD or relaxed about couponing as you wish.

I also really recommend a couponing class, if you can find one in your area. Try googling for information in your area.

And don't forget – 50% is not bad. Many of the “I saved 98%” posts you read are extreme cases – you don't get that everyday. I have had some of those trips, but my overall savings is closer to 65%. Before extreme couponing, I used a shopper's card and a few coupons when I thought about it, and saved roughly 30%.

      • Danibush37

Also purchase multiple papers. Some people buy 5+ a week

    • Gailscoupon

Where do you get the Kashi booklet??

    • I had an awesome Harris Teeter Super Doubles shopping trip this morning! My total was -$.09 (plus tax) for 23 items! Visit http://www.homemakingmom.com to view what I purchased!

    • Leslie

Hi, Jenny….I am absolutely addicted to your website! Thanks for all your ideas and resources to help me save money and score freebies whenever possible! Just as a side note, our Harris Teeter in Burlington, NC is not promoting the B1G1 Al Fresco chicken sausage. Is anyone else experiencing this?

      • Bugaboobags

My store only had the blueberry ones BOGO because they are discontinuing them according to the meat manager

      • Deb

I have been to two different HT also not on sale

      • Krissi

My HT in Clemmons doesn't have them on sale either!

      • danica

no B1G1 on those in my area either (Nashville, TN)

        • Jen

I got the Al Fresco Wild Blueberry Chicken Breakfast Sausage at Belle Meade and it rang up BOGO. According to Express Lane, that's the only variety that is BOGO.

          • danica

i haven't tried the blueberry ones – are they good? my very favorite breakfast food is the chicken with apple maple. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

            • Jeri

We just ate our free blueberry ones for breakfast. I thought they were a little too sweet but the teenagers scarfed them down in about 30 seconds. I figured even if they didn't like them that much they were free and worth a try. I would definitely not pay the reg price of $3.99 for six sausage links but they were ok. I think I would have liked the apple maple better too.

            • Sparklecat2009

I bought the apple maple ones as they were out of the blueberry………….not bad overall. Reminded me a little of vienna sausage. Probably would get again if they were free but I would not pay $4.

    • Amy

Any problems with the Vitamin water tearpad? It's a DND5 but it doesn't double – the cashier didn't do anything special.

      • Jalonzo

You have to buy the LARGE 32 ox (which is 1.99). The price of the small is only 1.00 so it is not registering that you bouhgt 2 of them and thinks you only spent $1 so there was no need to double. Hope that makes sense. I've done it several times with the large ones with no problem

    • Parbreakr

My combination of HT trips has resulted in 69 items purchased.

      Original Cost = 158.76

      After VIC & Qs = $15.37

      Total Savings = $143.39 (90.32%)

      • Parbreakr

Oh, and by the way, thank you SouthernSavers for all that you do!! The food bank is going to love the stuff we don't use.

    • Pam

With my husband recently laid off, this site has allowed us to eat well for much less than I used to spend. A huge blessing, Jenny – thank you for your service!

    • guest

It is pretty sad that were in an economy that we all want to become thieves. What alot of people don't understand is that these stores have employees working for them that have families also. It would be sad to see major retailers go out of business “like Linens-n-Things” because of consumers like us. I truly don't understand how some of you on this web site think is is cool to rip off the retailer. When you get stopped by a cop do you try and beat the system. Probably not!! You would be thrown in jail. Rules are put in place for a reason. After reading some of these posts it makes me wonder how you are teaching your children to grow up. I know honesty is the best policy in my household. Remember you keep ripping off retailers your also taking the chance of eliminating someones job. Yes grocery store clerks may seem like a grunt job but any business your in is customer service. Wish you all would think about that and sleep on it. You may be there someday.

    • Sonyagrice

Does anybody know the location of the closest Harris Teeter to Lexington? Google is not helping me.

      • adrienne

I think there is still one on St Andrews rd. near irmo

        • adrienne

Oops… not anymore. Went on the Harris Teeter website to find a location near Lexington/Redbank b/c we were going to go tomorrow but it appears the closest one is in Charlotte. Let me know if u find something different.

          • Jeri

There is one in Ft. Mill. I-77 North exit 85. Turn left off the interstate and it is about a quarter mile down on the right.

          • AR

There is one in Clemmons… right across from Tanglewood. Great store!

      • tcnk

Lexington NC? Isn't there one in Clemmons

      • Pamelado

Do you mean Lexington, NC? There's one in Salisbury and 2 in High Point.

      • Wsult3

Most people in Northern Davidson Co go to the HT on Cloverdale or Stratford.

    • Adrienne

I don't see any comments where people are being shady or stealing below. They use their coupons to get deals …. the manufacturers pay the stores for the coupons they use so everyone wins. Remeber Harris Teeter has put on the double coupon up to 1.98. They must be profitting somehow or they wouldn't continue to do it. Sorry you are in such a negative mood.

      • Dinasgulledge

        HT doubles to 1.98?

        • Donna

Only during the Super Doubles weeks (which is now – ends on Tuesday night). Normally they double up to $0.98.

    • shopper

A lot of retailers play games with their consumers to try to get them to spend more money. I have worked retail before and I know the markup on most items is exorbitant.

HTs regular prices are high and they make plenty of money. The HT near me are where are the wealthier people shop. They certainly don't have to have double coupon promotions – but they advertise double coupon promotions (this week, on TV even!) to try to get new customers. We are shopping by their rules!

    • bev

Miracle Whip on Facebook has $1 coupons to print — makes jar 50 cents!

    • Nita Royal

Freebie finds: Hunt's tomato sauce 2/$1.00 Coupon for $1 off 4. Bush's Grillin' Beans = $1.99, coupon for $1.00 off 1. Both Q's from Conagra insert in All You (don't recall which month)

Oddly, not a single item from this list matched on pricing at my store. In some cases, the q is for a specific item that is not in the sale. Most cases, my store just didn't have the same price. (Rocky Mount, NC)

    • Nita Royal

What are you talking about? There's no “thievery” here….just utilizing the system provided by the store, and playing by the rules to stretch a dollar.

If you aren't into using coupons to save money, how did you end up on this site?

    • mmmdraco

When I was in my HT tonight (the Belle Hollow location in Hickory, NC) the manager told me that that location only will be running either super doubles or triples every week for the rest of the year and maybe longer to compete with the brand-new Lowe's just down the street.

      • Clarkwoman

I HOPE this is true!!!! Thank you!!

    • Kay Brooksok

I look at it like this . Those wealthy people are buying my groceries. yippie

      • Mdavis1205

you are definitely on the wrong site. No one is stealing anything here…. We are all just trying to save $$$$$… couponing is a legitimate way of saving $ on grocery and household items… Not sure where your comment is coming from..

    • Clarkwoman

I have taken 3 trips to HT this week and have spent approx $60 which I know is more than many of you get out with but i have stocked myself on Pampers (using the $1.75 q), rice, pasta, dishwashing stuff, snacks, lemonaid *my kids have drunk 3/4 of what I have bought lol*, creamer, and frozen veggies amoung other things. Thank you Jenny!!! OH, my savings have been close to $175. Not too bad!!!

More freebie finds: Betty Crocker single pouch potatoes 77 cents, use 40 cent q above to get them free. Bumble Bee tuna single pouches $1, use 50 cent q. Sorry, I don't know which insert the coupons came from.

    • I had a weird day today. I paid only 60 cent. I even asked if that was right. I had q for 20 items but also bought the bogo bread with out a q. I go to this store alot but have never been this low oop. I think the register gave me overage which never happens here. I started to get nervouse when the price was dropping below $5. And i keep thinking what did i do. yesterday i did 12.48. i have loads of soup and cooking oil. I also hope the new bush beans are good too. lol I thought november was another freezer month like march is that right?

      • Sdjanelle

I was negative 46 cents this week. It was awesome. I had to throw in a pack of gum so I got like 30 items for 80 cents!

    • Raynesmw

I have had really great experiences until this morning, and then I ran into a cashier that wouldn't let me a use a $1/2 coupon on a BOGO free deal. When I asked for the policy, she showed me where it says “only 1 coupon for a BOGO free item.” Isn't that just one coupon? I asked for a more specific policy, and was told “you can't have one”. Huh? Oh well, I still have gotten great deals, but it didn't make me really angry to see other people at other registers getting the same deal as I tried to get, and mine got flagged. Ugggh! This was the HT in Concord NC off Poplar Tent.

      • Bholmes75

stupidist rule in the whole wide world.

      • Carrie_C

The only way I've been able to get around that is to buy different types/flavor/color/etc then the coupon won't beep. If it's BOGOF cake mix, buy one white and one yellow. If it's lunch meat, buy one smoked turkey and one oven roasted. I think it's stupid too because they charge 1/2 price if you buy one. They're reimbursed by the manufacturer for the coupon and according to the way they price it, it isn't fraud…

      • Bow-tie

I had the same problem at that same store the other day, so I just didn't buy it then I went to the one on 29 and used the coupon. Some stores just like to act stupid!

    • Roxihilton

Hey ya'll I got a question … I just got my hands on a $1.00/4 Canned Green Giants Veggie coupon … How many should I purchase so I dont get beeps?? Thanks!

      • Nita Royal

Maybe this is a trick question….but I'm going to go out on a limb and say “4”

        • Roxihilton

Well it's Buy2 Get 3 for free … So it's not really a trick question.

          • mtnluvr

            buy 4 get 6 free :)

          • Yes, buy 4 get 6 free would be right.

      • Sdjanelle

You can actually just get five if you want, you dont have to do the deal twice. So get five and your coupon will double as well so they will all be free.

    • Sally

Does anyone know if these e-VIC coupons can be used in conjunction with manufacturers coupons?

      • Carrie_C

yes, you can use a coupon on an evic special :)

      • Dink

Sally….. Not sure about that, I know I'll be asking my store. From what I understand, other stores that have been doing coupons like cell fire will NOT take multiples. I've been wondering the same, tho!

      • Jalonzo

YEP! I got the turkey bacon for 99 cents and there is a 75 cent coupn (or was) so it is Free. LOVE evic.

      • Sally

Just to clarify… I believe these e-VIC coupons are new– I just recently received an email about e-VIC coupons (not specials) where you click on the e-VIC coupon you want, and it electronically is transferred to your VIC card and is then redeemed when you buy the particular item.

    • Carrie_C

Do you copy internet coupons? If so, please stop since the store will not be reimbursed for it and you are creating a counterfeit coupon that really can be traced back to you. If you choose to keep copying coupons, don't give them to other shoppers. While enjoying my Super Double shopping this week, had some lady offer me some coupons she wasn't going to use and I was so happy to see what goodies she had for me! I was really floored that they were copied IP's and very bad copies at that. How embarrassing if I didn't know and had gotten to checkout to use it. I did tell the cashier but am still mad at myself for not being assertive and pointing out to her they were copies and no thank you.

      • I don't know; they could have just been printed in black and white and not necessarily copied. My mom prints all her coupons on black and white on draft quality. They look horrible, but they're legit, and they scan. I guess you could have asked her, that way if they were copies, you could have made sure she knew not to. Many people honestly don't know any better.

        • Carrie_C

They were definitely copies – she had several and none were cut out. Copier lines over the face and the black dots on the paper from where the glass was dirty. I agree that some honestly don't know but there are many who do.

          • Guest

To be fair to the lady, who may be innocent, if I print coupons at work they look like you described. All we do in my department is print reports that eventually end up archived. We have the WORST printer in the office! It has a line down the side, smudges here and there in the center, a line down the middle, etc… (the drum is damaged). The coupons I rarely print from it are legitimate and do scan. But they look awful!

    • Proud ARMY wife

I can't get to the Got2B coupon? Anyone able to?

    • Ahobbs06

Does anyone know how to print the coupons in black and white?

      • Martyp

You have to go to your printer settings and set the default to print in gray scale… go through your control panel to printer to advanced settings

    • reese

the only Al Fresco sausage that is on sale is a breakfast (small links) sausage with blueberries in it… gross!! the others are 5.99

      • Ougirl822

        actually they are pretty good

    • Nollie

One of the things I've noticed about SS and Harris Teeter is that, the products on here are not the same as in the store. Now I don't know if each individual HT store has a different pricing schedule or what, but I've noticed a big difference and it is not just this one time either.

    • L'Anne

I had a great week at Harris Teeter. I spent $44.00 and saved $113. I think I am addicted!!. I want to go back today just to see if I can find more stuff! I think I need a coupon support group!!

    • Pamelado

Does anyone do another coupon match-up with the new coupons we got yesterday for Super Doubles week?

      • mamc

I noticed the $1.50 Resolve Spray and Wash would make it .35. The new $1.50 IP California K Pizza would make the individual pizza .59, but if you buy 2 you get a $1 catalina coupon for your next purchase, so it makes them .09 each. The Martha White coupon, free muffin mix. There were a few others, but can't think of them off hand.

    • Godizmine

I know that HT only lets you use 20 coupons per card, is that per visit or per day? I have to travel over 50 miles to get to my closest HT, and do so when the deals are this good. I was wondering if I can go in the morning, lunch out, then come back in the afternoon and use 20 coupons again? Does anyone know if I can do this?

      • Jarochagcc1

you can use 20 coupons per day …what you can do is get one vic card for you one for your husband and other for a friend so that way you can go 3 times in one day and use 20 coupons per visit ..i hope this help

        • Nita Royal

The policy is 1 card per household. There are always ways to cheat the system, but I know at least one person who got caught. They combined her cards and didn't tell her, so on her second trip in one day, nothing doubled.

      • Padonie

At my HT it's linked to your household….so the answer would be per day only. I wanted to have my hubby go back one day (when I had already been) with 20 more coupons and it wouldn't work. Different stores may handle it differently, but that's my exerience with it.

      • guest

I am new at this, but I talked to a guy at the register yesterday and he said that you can only use 20 coupons per day that are a dollar and over. So if you have a bunch under a dollar they do not count towards the twenty. It may be wrong but that is what he told me and I was able to use more than twenty on my order.

        • guest

that is not correct. all 20 will double no matter if is 75 cents or 1.59 off. But once you meet the 20 quote that is it. you can redeem more Qs but it will be for face value. Make sure you read the rules that Jenny post.

    • Nita Royal

Another freebie find: Carnation evaporated milk (large cans) = $1.00, had coupons for 50 cents off. I've been going every day, and finding something new! This evening's total started at almost $36, and final total was -.06. Tax of .40 left me paying .34. Woo-Hoo!

    • I just got 2 California Pizza Kitchen pizza for $.18 cents each!!!

      Here's how . . . .http://crunchydeal.blogspot.com/2010/11/harris-teeter-18-california-pizza.html

      • Brownebaby

does anyone know if that printable is still available? if so what zip?

    • Pam

I am pretty new here, never heard of Harris Teeter, but found out there's one 35 miles away. I'd like opinions from those who've hit this sale on whether you think it's worthwhile to make the trip, just this once…thanks!

      • Nita Royal

Wow, that's a pretty far drive, but if it is an easy one, I'd think it could be worth it during the super doubles or Triple Q events. Keep in mind that you can only maximize 20 coupons/day. I normally go every day during the special events, and that could be a challenge for you.

Of course, if you have a Kroger or Publix, you might already have great deals available. All my town has are Food Lions (everywhere), and one lone HT, so my basis for comparison is limited. Good Luck!

    • Nita Royal

Last minute Money Maker! Went to use the last few coupons tonight and stumbled onto “Zone” bars in the nutrition aisle. $1.25, and I had 4 Q's for $1 off 1 bar. Used 3 of them for $2.25 overage.
