Yeah that was a really cruel rumor someone started! I'm totally bummed :(

    • Donny

I told my wife that the triples were this week and she was mad because she is in Alaska for our youth group's mission trip. She will be happy to know it was just a rumor.

    • Nonniemonroe1

jenny , you do so much for us and im here to tell you we appreciate you very much…

      • Thank you for supporting Southern Savers!

        • Nellbell37

this site should be shut down!

          • Alison

Perhaps you should not visit the site if you have a problem with it. Thousands of people appreciate what Jenny does to help them save money. If you don't, then feel free to keep you unnecessarily mean comments to yourself.

            • MaryT

I totally and completely agree! I've noticed that “Nellbell37” seems to be writing inflammatory comments — not true opinions or advice, just plastering ugliness on an otherwise marvelous blog. Wondering if there is a way you can block a user, Jenny?!! The rest of us are so GRATEFUL for all the work you put into this site — even if things turn out off-kilter once in a while (like the triples rumor), you save me SOOOO much time by lining up the deals for me in advance! Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

          • Cheryl

IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE SITE THEN STAY OFF IT….. Jenny has a really good site with lots and lots of great info… Thanks Jenny

    • Crawford86575

    • Coolmallory9899

    • emilyv

      No Meal Deal?

    • RebeccaFer

I wonder if my wt q for $1/1 specialty cheese will work on the Kraft Singles? Lol. :D

    • Hubbardca

An employee had shared the same 'rumor' with me as well a couple of weeks ago. It probably will be very soon…

    • kcreviews

I think this is the worst HT sale ever! I guess it will make us even happier once they get a great sale!

      • Nellbell

this is the hottest ad in a long time!

    • Mrs Bankins

I thought the triple was this Wednesday 7/21? I saw that posted somewhere on someones blog.

      • bunchofpants

Jenny pointed out in the first paragraph of this post that the HT triples for this week turned out to be just a rumor. (Now the current rumor, according to the forums at Hot Coupon World and A Full Cup, is that it will be next week. Or it might be Super Doubles again. But until someone actually sees the ad we won't know for sure.)

    • Dizzy4coupons

My HT had Red Baron pizzas 3/$10 (same price as at Lowe's Foods but if you don't have a Lowe's this is good news!).

    • jessica1970

Wasa crispbread was 1.50 at my store. Normally 3 bucks and change. Great for WWers. The wasa website had a printable 1.50 off two products. Of course, my store was wiped out already.

    • offyourocker

The link for the Kashi pizza brings me to a site where I can not find anything kashi related. What am I doing wrong?

        • Kristen B

I got them when I signed up for the emails. I signed up my husband and used his work address and got some more.

    • Afrykandol

Hello Jenny. I want to share the experience I just had at my neighborhood Harris Teeter. For days I have been going in HT to gett the beloved VIVA papertowels and to no avail they were never there. I got rainchecks and was told to come back on 7/22 2 10 pm when they stock the store. I went in and was given the first box off the pallet by a young man who was so eager to help. I get my happy behind to the register and lo and behold the cashier and the manager are the only avail for checkout and this chick curtly tells me I can only get 3 of the same coupon per day per vic card. I was floored. I had just witnessed a lady get 15 from rainchecks last week. The manager said it would be unfair for me to get 20 when other customers should have chance to get them. I told her I was one of those customers..I had been chasing them all week.So I reluctantly put 3 in my basket and walked my embarrassed behind out the door but not before turnign around and giving my best Arnold impersonation…””I”ll Be Back” A learning experience for me no doubt.

      • heather

Sorry you had a bad experience at good ol HT, but I have NEVER been able to use more than 3 of the same coupon or 2 of the same internet printable. It's always been that way for me. I think you were just getting lucky that you havent' been “caught” before now.

        • Immaculate888

Thanks for the heads up.. I will have to keep that in mind for future trips.

      • Immaculate888

The same thing happened to me yesterday (though not with a raincheck). I had 6 coupons for deodorant and they told me I could only use 3. It was very annoying. But I got he 3 and went back today (ugh!) to get the other 3. If so many people are rushing to by a product that they are getting sold out of that product, than it seems to me that the best business plan would be to order MORE of that product so everyone can get the number that they want. That way, ALL the customers are happy and the store makes even MORE money!

        • Nellbell37

stores lose money when they double coupons. you should not try using 6 coupons for deodorant. how about 1 coupon for when you need it.

          • Alison

Many people stockpile so they don't spend needless money to buy an item right when they need it. Others buy inexpensive products to donate. If they were losing money they wouldn't continue the practice.

            • Taby123

Grocery chains lose a lot of money doubling and tripling coupons. The gamble is that the shopper will buy more than just coupon items and therefore will be profitable. This happens more times than not and is the reason that these strategies continue. A manufacture only pays for the face value of the coupon, the store eats the doubling/tripling. There is a rumor going around that HT has discontinued the triple coupons and super doubles program in exchange for a new program that is a coupon in the ad for $5 off a $30 purchase.

      • Nellbell37

you should not be able to get all this, its lost money

      • Cheryl

It is really good to go to the same HT and get to “know” the cashiers.. You learn which ones will let you get by and the ones that will not… I have been embrassed several times for junk like that. But now I just smile and say sorry I did not know that. There are HT that will double the Mentos coupons and some that will not. It says do not double.. But there is one in Winston that will not double them and the other 6 will. go figure.. Have a great day…

      • Guest

There is nothing wrong with stockpiling and using legitmate coupons for the correct products. Unfortunatly, Harris Teeter does have a rule in their coupon policy that states that they will only multiply 3 coupons for like items per vic card per day. Yes it can be very frustrating at times.

    • Anonymous

      The Superpretzels have a .50 q on their website http://www.superpretzel.com .

Has anyone had trouble with the Kraft $5 back deal? I bought a Kraft Singles, 2 String Cheese & 2 Breakstones Sour Cream — but I did not receive a coupon. The store manager went back and checked all my products to make sure they were 8oz or larger (which they were) and couldn't figure out what kind of coupon I was supposed to receive. I told her I thought it was supposed to be a catalina, but she told me that my next order will be automatically be deducted by $5. She promised to give me $5 off next week if that didn't work and I made her give me her word in writing. Has anyone else had difficulty with this coupon? I want to be prepared next week :)

      • tarheelbaby1

I tried twice and my HT didn't print a Catalina either time. When I asked the manager about it, she wasn't aware of the deal and couldn't find it listed anywhere so she wouldn't honor it. I ended up returning about half the stuff because I really didn't need 10 cheese products!

        • Nellbell37

          this is a good thing

    • Raynesmw

My HT in NC has Nature's Own Premium Bread BOGO for 3.49. I had 2 Q's that I printed somewhere from here that were 75 cents each. So, 2 loaves for 49 cents.

    • Donny

Just spoke to one of the department head, I have known him for years, here in town and he stated that they will have triple coupons this Wednesday.

      • SHANNON

        WHOO WHO

        • shannon

nevermind, Im getting word that there isn't triples this week, maybe next

          • Donny

I just saw my friend at HT and he said he didn't talk to me yesterday and that it was a guy who tries to run his department at night. He apologized for that and said it hasn't been told to him that this week is the triple. The store manger said that they don't let people find out til Wednesday morning. I had to laugh and I said I go to a website that notifies us on Sunday before the sale (sometimes). He just shook his head.

            • Donny

I didn't state what site I go to.

            • Courtney

So, starting tomorrow is triples week??? Surprised it has not been posted yet anywhere on the site.

            • kalibsmom

It looks like they're saying its not a triples week.
