        • LeAnnaShaw

I just found out that SweetBay, food lion and bloom are all the same company(bottom dollar too). I was very surprised. We were at a Food lion on vacay-and needed a card…the manager told us that our Bloom card would work at any of those stores. Just an FYI!

      • NC_angel

I would check the Express Lane list on their website to get an idea of some of the locations nearby.

      • NCcouponer

I googled this booklet and it looks like it's a booklet that was/is available at Publix.. So, if you don't have a Publix store close by you're out of luck!

        • JL

Thankyou. I will see if I can find one.

    • NC_angel

I believe there is also a B1G1 coupon in the All You magazine. I don't know which month, as I have clipped it out of a previous month to clean out my coupon binder.

      • NC_angel

Sorry, that would be for the Healthy Balance juice.

    • A few of the printables aren't at the links given: $1 Jif & Smuckers; RiceWorks; Arm & Hammer Detergent. I tried different zip codes and they still didn't show up.

        Try 80002

    • Beth

Crazy question alert!!!……….Is the Progresso soup and the Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks included in the Pillsbury deal? I see them in the list above but wanted to make sure that everything in that section was included. To be sure, I guess more specifically I wanted to know if I buy the Betty Crocker as part of the deal, will I get the $6 off and the CAT?

      • RH

My HT ad in the paper today has a listing (in tiny print) of participating products. It lists the Progresso “Vegetable Classics” soups – which makes me assume all other Progresso soups are NOT included? It lists Fruit by the Foot, Fruit Roll ups, Fruit Shapes, Fruit Stickers, and Fruit Gushers. It also lists the cereals one by one and matches Jenny's list – you will want to check it in store if buying specific Cheerios or Total since there are so many… Hope that helps.

It's only the Progresso CLASSICS — which you'll notice are on sale for $1.50 — and which is a different sale price than all their other soups (I think they were $2 each). That makes it pretty easy to identify which are in the promo!

      • RH

Forgot to add that – Yes, you should be able to get the $6 off AND the BC Fruit Snacks Catalina (AND the NV Granola Bar Catalina if they are part of your 20 items). They are all three listed on the page in the ad and when they have done these type of promotion in past I have recieved all three savings. Just BE SURE your 20 items are all included items so you get the $6 off.

I'm having trouble finding the La Brea coupon. Does anyone know of a zip code that works?

      • Marge

I did not have to enter a zip code, but mine is 28210

    • great_state

Just an FYI – the Hormel Fully Cooked Bacon is not on sale this week, so the coupon matchup above probably won't work. Thanks for all your efforts!

does anyone in the cary area have issues with cashiers taking out the DND during non-coupon events? i have the yogurts but they say DND but i wont get them unless they do double! thanks!

      • NCcouponer

I go to the HT in Tryon Village, or the one by Cary Towne Center. I haven't had that a cashier put the DND coupons aside and scan separately before (fingers crossed). I'm going tonight and will hope for the best :)

    • BuckeyeSara1982

I read online that even when coupons say “do not double”, the grocery store register WILL double them, as long as the barcode starts with a “5” (as 90% of coupon barcodes seem to do). It's only the barcodes that start with a “9” that the register won't double. I read that most companies put “do not double” on coupons because some grocery stores used to double coupons and then try to get the manufacturer to honor the doubled amount, so this is their way of covering their butts so they don't have to pay the doubled amount, though they don't really care if the store pays for the doubled coupon. Has anyone else heard this or know if it's true? I'm tempted to go and just buy one thing with a DND coupon that starts with a “5”, just to see if it does actually double.

      • Jupchurch84

i have had them seperate them during triples or super doubles and not let them double but i dont know if they do it on a regular basis. they used to let them double/triple all the time no questions asked but now they are cracking down and I havent attempted to use a DND there in a while. hope someone answers this

        • bunchofpants

Some HTs double the DND5 coupons, some don't. I've heard tales of HTs that used to double them recently starting to pull them and not double them, with the cashiers saying they got a memo and management is cracking down. It's really a store by store thing and apparently it's subject to change …

          • PDB

At my HT in Suffolk VA, cashiers started pulling DND5 coupons a month or so ago. Managers override the registers so that they do not double. They are VERY strict about going through all coupons. Takes longer to check out and the cashiers and managers don't seem very happy about it. I don't like it either, but I do know now to never expect a DND5 to double.

      • LeAnnaShaw

I have always wondered why the coupon companies do that….when it is just as easy to put a 9 instead of a 5. They have to know. Unless the cashier looks closely at every coupon and puts it aside to enter it manually-YES it will double. And MOST cashiers do not have the time or inclination when you hand them a handful of coupons. They just scan them through. Occasionally when a coupon beeps or will not scan, then the cashier notices. Other than that….I would say 95% of the time my coupons that 'say' dnd-but start w/ a 5 will double.

      • born2worship

My local Harris Teeter in Amelia Island Florida separates them and will manually deduct them so they won't double :0( That really kills a lot of good deals for me.

      • Gwilly99

My HT in Burlington, NC will double them if they start w/ a 5…they just scan them.

      • julie1916

It is up to the cashier to pull the coupons and manually entering them so they don't double. As opposed to scanning them and letting them double. As awful as it is to say, if a cashier is older than me (30) I do not get in their lane. The younger the cashier the less likely they are to pull the q's. Because they say dnd, the stores have a right to not double them regardless of the way they are coded.

For the General Mills promotion–If Honey Nut Cheerios are included, I have gotten .75/1 coupons inside boxes of Ziploc snack bags. So if, like me, you got some Ziplocs during Super Doubles last week, open them up and see if there is a Cheerios coupon inside!

    • Donnathecouponqueen

Just went to local harris teeter, genral mills cereal is not $2.00, it 2 for $5.00. $2.50 each. am i missing something?

      • NCcouponer

        same in Cary, NC.

        • Ss310279

Yep. I'm in fort Mill, SC $ 2/5 Boo Bad!

Is it normal that I can't find probably about 65% of the coupons in the sunday papers each week that are mentioned? And sometimes if I do find it, it's not the same coupon as mentioned above. I get the Charlotte Observer. Is it possible that the paper you use is different than mine?

      • tarheelbaby1

I get the Charlotte Observer too. The flyers are regional, and they do vary from place to place. My parents get the Greensboro paper, and their coupons are quite different.

    • ACW

Deer Park 24-pks are $2.99, limit 2. The Catalina for $2 OYNO WYB 2 is active until 8/22?

    • Raynesmw

At my HT (NC), they have the lysol hand soap automatic dispensers BOGO. I had a 3.00 coupon which made it a good deal. I only got one b/c I only had one coupon. I need to find some more, I have one more bathroom I would like one for. I love this site!!! Thanks Jenny for all that you do for us!!!

      • nc_sunshine

Walgreen's has a $5 coupon in their Savings booklet (available in-store), and they're selling it for $9 or something like that. I can't believe how HT sells it regularly for $14.99 while WalMart, CVS and others often have it for $6-7. Paired with your $3 manufacturer's coupon (I found one on a Lysol product's trigger-spray for $2 off), that might be a better deal. HTH!

    • Lynnbspencer

anyone having problem printing the Buitoni coupon?

      • Carlene

Yes. It keeps telling me I have printed it the number of times allowed but I have never printed it. I even tried form a friends computer and it does not work :(

        • Clairebeautiful

Same problem here – my husband says his firewall on his computer at work is not letting it print because of a “virus” potential. Hm.

          • Js3442

Make sure it's not logged in to someone else's account already at the top. I had the same problem, that fixed it.

            • Thanks for pointing that out guys. The link should be fine now.

    • Jan

Aren't M&M's made by Mars? I have at .75/2 M&M's 1.14oz. – 1.74 oz., which is the size on sale. The q is a DND 5, so it would make them free or nearly free! I get the Charlotte Observer, btw.

    • NCcouponer

Has anyone tried the GM promotion and gotten the $6 off?

      • MaryT

I did it on 8/18 — it comes off your total automatically down where the coupon deductions print as “VIC GM REWARDS 6.00-“

    • Jessdare101

Can I use the BOGO coupon listed on the Healthy Balance Old Orchard juices an get 4 for free

      • Bridget

I did that last time they had this promotion. I have heard some people say their stores gave them a hard time about it, but really it is a completely legit way of using that BOGO coupon (the store gets reimbursed after all, so you are buying 2 to get the other 3 free ones).

      • beck

I agree with Bridget, but last time my HT gave me a hard time. They said they would only take off (whatever the total for 5 juices was divided by 5) for my BOGO coupon. I don't understand it either, since they are getting reimbursed completely for the coupon! But HT coupon policies vary widely from store to store, so it's worth a try at your store.

    • Tcorvin2

Bummer, at the HT in Denver at Hwy 73 & 16 GM cereal is 2 for $5, or $2.50 each as opposed to the $2 noted above. I still did good and the $6 was instantly deducted from the total amount due.

    • Stenkedeals

Anyone else heard a triples rumor for next week? My cashier said he couldn't say for sure but he'd hear that there *might* be triples next week.

      • unknown

I haven't heard anything about it, it is highly unusual to have it so soon after super doubles, I work for HT and haven't heard anything about it but that isn't unusual either lol

      • Tacts

I know it is soon a manager i know told me they were thinking of doing the back to back thing they did 3 months ago but he said it sould be ver y soon.

    • RebeccaFer

I swear I saw Voila frozen meals B1G1 today but I don't see it listed. Might just be me. Hmmm.

      • Hardison_k

yep..they're b1g1…noticed it at my HT, too

    • Hardison_k

Evic showed up in my email today…French’s honey mustard dipping sauce is $0.99 (limit 2). you can get a coupon $0.75 off coupon through the french’s site http://www.frenchs.com/ (on the right hand side) which makes them FREE! :)

      • 3Cubs

I'm saving my $0.75 coupons and using a couple of $0.50 coupons out of the paper. Also, at the French's website there ar$0.50 coupons for ANY French's mustard that will work for this deal as well.

    • Pigletfan

I don't understand the math on this one. Wouldn't the coupon make them $1.27 ea?
      Pillsbury Italian Breads $1.67
-.40/2 Pillsbury Italian Meal Bread, SS 8/08 (makes it 97¢ ea)
-.40/2 Pillsbury Italian Meal Breads printable, printable, or printable

      • Xraychik512

Yes you are right. There are a few things on here that are like that like the Totino’s Party Pizzas $1.25, says they are free but will be 0.25. And the Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers $1.25 is the same thing.

        • julie1916

I think these are factoring in buy 20 items to get the $6 off.

      • Pete

they are figuring in the $6.00 off for buying 20 GM items which equals out to an additional $0.30 off of each item (I wish they didn't list it that way as I am sure most people will not buy the 20 items and will be paying the 30 cents extra as you have noticed) which is where you are getting the different price.

    • mtnlover

HT in Hendersonville, NC had all Lysol cleaning products BOGO
coupons are on the lyson website

    • Xraychik512

Anybody have the cheapest way of doing the General Mills Promotion? Just curious, I have a list but I feel like I'm spending much more. Is it worth it?

      • Ligiamunhoz

For me personally I don't think its worth it (the General Mills Promotion) especially because I was able to get a LOT cereal and fruit snacks for free last week with super double coupons and the Kellogg's Catalina. With the General mills promotion I would still have to pay ” a lot” money compare to free.

        • nc_sunshine

For me, getting GG Steamers for 25-cents is totally worth it! Complete, healthy dinners for my husband & I are costing less than $2 total! They're on sale for $1.25 each; the 50-cent coupon ($1 when doubled) knocks it down to 25-cents. I got 8 bags yesterday (my cashier let me use all 8 IP coupons), and today I plan to pick up some more. Many of the other items are things we often buy (brownies, soup, cereal, NV & Fiber One bars, etc.), so with coupons I pay $1-1.25/item. Pretty darn good deal.
          * * Note that the cereals are NOT $2 (at least at my HT) — they were $2.50 (and some weren't on sale at all).

      • Tcorvin2

you'll want to get the cheapest items with the highest valued coupons. For coupons I had on hand, or could print, it was the Green Giant Steamers, Total cereal, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks and Pillsbury Sweet Rolls…Chex Mix and Bugle mix seemed like ok deals too…And Cheerios IF you had a .75 off coupon. The Nature Valley products didn't seem to be a good deal after all.

      • RH

The GM promotion is not really a great deal. Probably not worth it at all unless there are products that you really need/want and you have all the right coupons and you qualify for the two Catalinas within your 20 items. I will do it once because I will use the granola bars, fruit snacks, total, cheerios, steamers, and pillsbury Italian bread, If I have figured it right, it will end up all costing $10.50 after GM and the two Catalinas.. I will spend $17 OOP ($23-$6 GM promotion) and get back catalinas for $3 and $3.50.

    • Janet

Does anyone know if you can get more than one “meal deal”? Would I have to do it in two different transactions? I have two coupons for the 1.50 off the Buitoni….

    • Michele

Does anyone know if the Dole catalina prints based on the sale price or the shelf price? Trying to figure out how many I need to buy…

    • Triplethefun_3

I got a $2 coupon off my next shopping trip after buying 2 e-vic water packs today! :o)

    • TheChapleigh

This may seem like a silly question, but to be sure, all the products listed under “General Mills Promotion” here are part of the promotion to get $6 back on this transaction, as long as I buy 20 of them in this transaction, correct? So I can get some cereal, some soup, some pillsbury stuff… correct? Thanks for all the helpful comments, I'm learning so much from you veteran couponers!

      • NCcouponer

Yes- that's correct. If I were you I'd have some “back-up items” planned out. I just went, had a list of exactly 20 items, and my #19 & #20 item were out of stock. Talk about frustrating! So, I came home, going to re-group, and try one more time :)

        • TheChapleigh

Thanks for the advice — I did go, and got everything I'd wanted :) Also making it extra nice was the $3.50 catalina I got back from buying 5 of the nature valley nut/granola bars!! I also did what Jenny posted a video about awhile back, about separating your purchases in bags (ie, 20 total for the deal) so you can easily keep track of them in your cart… handy!! Hope your next trip in is successful!!

        • Jbfitnessrn

I had a list too and they were out of cheerios! so i had to restock everything! I've learned to go first thing on sunday morning though after they stock on saturday night.

    • TheChapleigh

Also, goldfish are 10 for $10.oo… nice combo with the printable coupon that came out awhile back… or, if it expired on you like it did me, still a deal for a dollar, I think… when you have a baby who is learning about finger food, still beats those baby food items that cost twice to three times that much & can't seem to find any coupons for!! (since cheerios have lost their baby-appeal… ;0)

    • Brownebaby

Does anyone know how many .50 cent coupons you can use on the old orchard deal? Can you use 5 or just 2?

      • Maydayrck

A couple of months ago a similar promotion was out, can't remember which type of juice, but I was only allowed to use 2 coupons b/c with the B2G3 deals, 3 ring up for free. Therefore, coupons don't work for them b/c they exceed the value of the product.

      • Since the $0.50/1 coupon is a printable, you can only use 1 coupon anyways. Only 2 identical printable coupons allowed per transaction.

    • Kcreviews

I'm wondering when Triples will come back. I have so many under $1 q's about to expire…

    • christie

Just fyi… in case anyone is like me…. I went to our local harris teeter specifically to get the buy 1 get 2 ez peel shrimp deal… I was thinking after looking at the list that it was $8 for 1 bag, and then you get the other 2 for free, but it's actually $25 a bag, for 1 and the other 2 are free or $8 a bag… It was my own fault for not paying closer attention but just wanted others to know in case, anyone else read it as I did…
