    • Ginny

Can you explain how the Ken’s would be $0.01? By my calculations I get $0.42 each. Pay for two at 2.06 less $2 in coupons, divided by the five you get for the price of two. What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks for all that you do Jenny!

      • Marlene

        No you’re right at $2.06 = 42cents each (jenny calcated as 2*$1.03..)
Listed price for my HT is $1.89*2=$3.78 (for 5)
        less 2 coupons = 1.78/5 =$0.36each
(some HTs will not take 2 coupons, they’ll only take 1 which makes it eihter 0.62 or 0.55 cents depending on the ‘regular’ price

      • That’s what I get too, snce they won’t let you use a coupon on a free item.

        • Katie

          She is right….if you use 2 $1 off coupons for the 2 you have to purchase….so, $2.06 minus 2 $1 coupons= .06 cents & divide by 5= .1 cent. Did I do that correct?

          • Marlene

            buy 2: 2.06+2.06= 4.12 minus 2.00 = 2.12 (get 3 free)
2.12 divided by 5= 42cents **if they let you use 2 coupons **
Personally I am very careful of the Buy 2 get 3 deals

            • Katie

oh yes you are correct! Thanks :-)

    • There is $1 off Finish Quantum at http://www.finishdishwashing.com/news-and-offers.php

Sorry, forgot to add great post! Can’t wait to see your next post!

    • Laura

Also coke products, 12 pack, are on sale, 4 for $10. That’s a pretty good deal especially if you don’t have to buy 5 in order to get the price! (as in a few weeks ago when it was Pepsi: Buy 2, get 3 free, at 5 dollars a piece)

    • Elizabeth

Am I losing it? I don’t see the Sorrento Cheese Sticks B1G1 on the list but they are in the ad.

    • Angela

What do you guys think about the fresh chicken breast? It is BOGO @ $4.99. Is that a good deal??

      • jessy

kroger’s has $1.99lb on tyson this week

      • LaDora

Lowe’s Food’s has BS CHicken breast for $1.88/lb until tomorrow (9/29). HTH!

    • Becca

Can someone explain how the progresso soup could be .54 cents? How many coupons can you use?

    • Jenny

Sorry guys. I did the math on the B2G3 deals somewhere around 2 am and things were hazy. They are right now.

    • Erin

I could not find the Meal of the Week in their ad this week. Is the 7 lbs of tenderloin correct?

    • Kim

Has anyone been able to print the Puppy Chow coupon? I went through the whole process of signing my pets up and I never could find where to print the $2 off coupon. Thanks! Kim

      • K

The same thing happened to me yesterday but today I followed the link (we really need dog food now) and as soon as I logged in the coupon printed and then had server error. I guess there’s really only one copy for this one!

    • cs

also this week: free starbucks coffee with when using coupons for starbucks coffee for evic members, and 5lb bag of white potatos for 0.97 for evic members. starbucks deal is $2 off automatically with evic, then use $1 off coupon, actually 0.50 overage (hot chocolate flavor only).

      • Marge

That is Starbucks ice cream, not coffee.

    • chasgal

I am somewhat new to the site, and I have “figured it out” — I am fully on the bandwagon, and during the triple s@ HT, i spent $28 and saved $118!!! But I made an obcservation during this HT triples week and wanted to see if this generally holds true: I noticed that after a few days of the triples, that when items ran out (wacky mac, mahatma rice, metromint water, etc) those items never got re-stocked. Do you think this is because HT ran out of stock, or they just didnt want to “lose any more money” on the triples….

      • Marge

I think it depends on the store manager. “My” HT is very good about keeping items in stock that are on sale. I was able to get everything I wanted last week during triples. It pays to go a few times during the week. Sometimes they run out of something, but then they have restocked by the next day. I went four times last week!

        • chasgal

I went several times as well, but once those items I mentioned were out, they were never filled again. They remained empty from about Saturday on…. kind of a bummer. I even have 2 HT within 10 minutes of me and both were out– & neither restocked.

          • rollinalong59

I have not had that problem. My Harris Teeter will restock when they run out. They were out of the Mahatma Rice Mix from Thursday Night until Monday afternoon. I was even offered a rain check for the price and the triple coupons, but they restocked on Monday afternoon. I have 4 Harris Teeters within about 20 minutes of my house and all are very accomodating when they are out of items. Don’t hesitate to ask for a rain check for both the sale price and the triple coupon.

            • Beth

I have been living for thesse triples. They are great!!! But last week, I had an experience with the stockers that I really should have approached the manager about, but didn’t. They were restocking all the refrigerated Pillsbury dough items. Being these items were a hot item, a lot of shoppers were trying to get to them. They put their stock cart directly in front of the case to where you had to reach over to get the items. They took FOREVER to put the items in the case….I mean 10 minutes to unload one case of maybe 20 rolls of biscuits. Then the two stockers said to each other about how the customers really p*ssed them off. Their words. Then they would mutter something under their breath and look back at all the shoppers and then do it again. I had my 16yo son with me and he even said they were rude. But, I let it go. Oh well. Otherwise, the managers and other employees always bend over backwards for me. One trip, they had the beer we drink on major sale. I guess because of the price, everyone started drinking it. When I went to get some, they were out and the manager even went to the back to see if any had not been put out. They were completely out, but he took my name and number and called me when the beer was back in stock. That is going above and beyond. I used to never shop at HT because of their prices being so high, even though the store was a welcome addition to the Food Lion only area. Now I can’t stay out of this store. But I get so bummed when the triples and super doubles are not being done. I feel like they have let me down lol.
Sorry to ramble………boring, rainy Friday night.

    • The Kashi cereal was not on sale at our local HT, but Wal-Mart had it for $2.68. YEAH!

    • Just a note. The Kashi cereal is not priced at $3.00/nor on sale in my store in Winston-Salem either. If I remember correctly it was $3.89.

    • Colleen

I can’t seem to find a store with the Buitoni pasta on sale. I went to 2 different stores and even looked in the ad at 1 store today and couldn’t find it in the ad. Anyone else have trouble?

      • Anne

No Buitoni B1G1 at my store this week either. I got a few last week, and was hoping to get some more. However, the HT version is B1G1. Not as good of a deal, but if you were really wanting some…

        • It wasn’t in my ad or store either. I did notice that Hot Pockets were on sale 5 for $10 and there was a .75 coupon in today’s paper. That makes for .50 boxes of Hot Pockets. I think that is a good stock up price or am I wrong?

    • Kathy

Question: What actual dates are the super doubles?

    • Erin

Has anyone bought the meal of the week this week? Is it really 7lbs of pork tenderloin?

    • Audrey

No super doubles this week bummer!

      • For any one in the Charlotte area: I called my Ht i always go 2. they said NO SUPER DOUBLES for next week = ( i was so hyped up for it too!

    • JEB

I have heard SO many conflicting reports on Super Doubles…..can anyone confirm that there IS or ISN’T going to be a sale??

All this anticipation is making me nuts!LOL

      • Anonymous

I work for a newspaper and saw the Harris Teeter insert for this Wednesday, no mention of Super Doubles. I almost took time last night to get my deals together so I’m glad I didnt! Hopefully they’ll be up next week!

    • Audrey

Confirmed by many no Super Doubles starting Wednesday. NO idea when the next event will be!

    • Tracy T
