July SavingStar eCoupons

SavingStar has released electronic coupons that can be used at tons of different stores across the country. Remember these are a little different than normal coupons, they don’t come off in the store but instead are more like a rebate that you get back in 7-30 days after your purchase an item.  The money acrues in an online savings account, and when you have $5 saved you can request it in a Paypal deposit or Amazon gift card.  You could also do what we are doing and leave the money there and see how much you have saved up come Christmas time!

There are limited numbers of available coupons, so if you want any of these load them to your cards now!

This is new to me! Thank you!

    • Mmm

Will this take the place of a manufacturers coupon?  I can't stack this with a paper coupon can I?

      • Appleshell

Here is the link for “how it works”  :-)

      • Couponing Mommy

No it doesn't take place of manufacture coupons…..you can “stack” this with store and manu coupons.  It doesn't take the amount off at check out, it will take that amount and put it into your online account and then you can redeem your savings with giftcards, etc.

It does take a very long time for the amount to show up in your account, but it will eventually!HTH

THANK YOU….i had the exact same question.

These are not as good as last month – low value :(

    • Has anyone had problems with their Saving Star coupons registering?  I used several this month and none of them show on my account.  It's been at least three weeks since I used them so I thought they would show in my account by now.  Just wondering?  :)  Maybe I'm doing something wrong….

      • Amy

I think it depends on the store and how quickly (or not) they report your purchases to SavingStar.  I signed up to get an email notification when the credits are posted, that way I don't have to keep checking.

      • SavingStar

Lesley – savings can take up to 30 days to post, depending on the store you shop. Thanks, Josh

    • Kathleen

My items I bought at rite aid appeared within a week and a half, but my purchases from Harris Teeter from 3 weeks ago still have not posted or from 2 weeks ago, atleast I thought to save my receipt from 2 weeks ago just in case, over all is amost $6 I am waiting for.

      • SavingStar

Kathleen – each store sends us data on a different schedule which is why savings can take up to 30 days to post. Thanks, Josh

    • Unacutie

Still waiting on credits from items I purchased from CVS & Rite Aid on May 18th!!!!

      • Amy

I think that's too long, you may want to send them an email.

      • SavingStar

Hi – please email us at support@savingstar.com so we can make sure you get your savings. Thanks, Josh

    • Is there a place to see what stores participate? I'm not seeing my local Safeway or Lucky when I put in my zip code?

    • DLawrence910

I love this program, only issue I am having is that I have to reset my password every time I log in. This didnt happen for the first month but now its everyyyy time.

    • Mistysd7

Can these coupons only be used one time?

      • SavingStar

Hi – yes, our eCoupons are one time use. Thanks, Josh

    • Carrieluvsgreg

So far I have not seen any of my purchases added to my account.  How long does it usually take?

      • SavingStar

Hi – Savings can take 7-30 days to post depending on the store that you shop. Thanks, Josh

    • Melissa

My credits are taking a very long time too. Purchases I made on 6/12 have not shown up yet. And I think there was one before that, but I forgot to keep the receipt. I've only had one credit work so far! It says it can take up to 30 days, so should I wait that long before trying to contact them?

      • Kris

My credits from early June have not shown up yet either.  I have contacted customer service twice and been told it takes up to thirty days. Well, its over 30 days and still no credits.  Wouldn't waste my time with this.

        • SavingStar

Kris – SavingStar is committed to making sure you get your savings. Savings can take up to 30 days to post depending on the store you shop at. If it's been more than days, please let us know at support@savingstar.com. Thanks, Josh

      • LindseyH

My credits showed up the very next day in my SavingStar account.

    • Zjqtcj

How to load the coupons to your store cards? Thanks.

      • SavingStar

Hi – You can create an account on SavingStar.com. After that you'll be asked to enter all your card numbers. You can also go to My Account and then My Shopping Cards. After you enter the cards, any coupons you select will be linked with all your cards so you can choose where to shop.
