For Shop Your Way Rewards Members, Kmart is offering a Double Manufacturer’s Coupon Event for 10 days!  From February 17-26, manufacturer’s coupons will double up to 99¢.

The fun part… there is no limit, and no purchase requirement!  You must be a Shop Your Way Rewards Member to participate.

Use the coupon database and search for “.75/1” to find all the coupons that would be great for this!

(thanks Jackie!)

    • Will all Kmarts be participating in this? I will be using the Florence, SC Kmart and I know that sometimes they do not participate in doubling coupons. If anyone knows, please let me know!

      • I looked for a list of participating stores and couldn't find one. Your best bet will be to call your store and ask.

        • Guest

Could you provide a link to the list of participating stores? What's your source on this other than Jackie?

          • MK

See above post or just call your store to find out. Not all stores will be doing it.

    • MTF

Can you join the rewards program at the store the day you go like other stores or do you have to do it online?

      • FreedomSpradley1

        join in store

    • Bee

My current ad said sale was only Feb 13-15 and had to purchase $25 of merchandise. And believe me, it was in an obscure place in very small print.

      • Beth

talked to ours….& yes they participated….but it ended yesterday….boooooo hoo!

        • JazzyDiva

          Thank you.

        • this is a new promotion starting tomorrow.

      • JazzyDiva

        Thank you.

      • jo

That is a diferent promotion from the one that starts FEB 17

    • JazzyDiva

Is K-Mart still running the double-coupon event where you have to spend a minimum of $25?

    • ChurchvilleStore

Is it all Kmarts or only certain ones?

    • General Mills Cereal is on sale 5 for $10 so that's $2.00 a box…if they're DBLing MQ's up to .99 all our .75/1 General Mills MQ's DBL making them .50 a box!!! The ad shows a box of Cheerios and Fiber One Bars. It also says 'selected varieties' in small print, but even if it's some Cheerio's or Golden Grams we'll score! :) I will go tomorrow AM and report back. :)

    • Philsbsn6408

I called my store in VA, and they said it was only the 13-15. The girl didn't know about any promotions starting tomorrow.

    • I'm only assuming Jackie got this info in her email or mailbox and was only told to Shop Your Way Rewards Members. Maybe that's why none of the associates know anything about it. They may only be told of it starting day of, hence why they don't know anything?

    • Sean

General Mills Cereal is priced at $2.00 until the sale ends Saturday. With all the coupons between 50 and 75 cents in the database, there will be quite a bit of cereal between 50 cents and $1.

    • Sean

I'm curious as to whether or not they sell eggs, because that -$.55/2 coupon on SmartSource might be nice to bring.

    • Dee

I'm new to this and am curious does it mean the .75 coupon would double to 1.50 off? or is .99 the highest amount to be taken off?

      • christa

        it would double to $1.50

    • Djacob15

I'm probably not even going to bother. Our K-mart (Florence, SC) has got to be the most unorganized store in existence. EVEN IF anyone there actually knows about this promotion, I highly doubt I'd be able to find the items I was looking for. It's a nightmare in there.

      • christa

whether the cashiers know it or not, if your store is participating the coupons should automatically double.

    • Hmzsmom

I went the last time they had this event in Charleston and they would not double the coupons that I printed from my computer. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up!

    • Stirringthingsup

      Silly question….
None of the stores in my area double, so this is all new to me. I do have a Kmart that is participating though so WooHoo!
If the coupon says 'do not double'…what happens then? Should I not even take those with me??

      • Jennifer

most coupons ay that. if the barcode starts w/ a 5 it should still double no problem!

    • deb

I am in Davidson Co., TN and called Kmart on Donelson. The person said yes, it was yesterday and starts again tomorrow but not today. I thought that was the weirdest thing in the world and repeated it to her and she confirmed again. She said she didn't know why. I am a SYWR person and recieved both emails this week. The first one said must buy $25 min. and the second, a day later, said no min. purchase. Poor Kmart they are too weird but I still like to shop there and think they have the best prices most of the time if I need it now and it's not on sale anywhere else.

    • Dannonb94

If you're a little confused about whats going on, maybe I can help? There was a promotion going on from the 13-15th where any manufacturers coupons would double, up to a $2 value, WITH a min. purchase of $25 in the grocery and/or personal care depts. The downside to that promo is that you could only double 5 coupons max. I was still able to get some great deals yesterday – their Gillette body was was on sale for $4 and I had a $2 P&G coupon that doubled, so I got three bottles for free. With all of the other items I purchased, my total came to $6 and some change. Not a bad deal at all – I love it when they have this sale!

Ok so the one that starts tomorrow is completely different though — there is NO min. purchase requirement, and NO limit as to how many coupons will double.

Just wanted to point out that there are 2 separate coupon deals starting and ending about the same time … so if your cashiers are confused, let them know whats going on ;)

    • Jerryandbeverly

My daughter went to KMart on Sunday night. They would only double the first 5 coupons and the rest at face value. You had to purchase at least 25.00 worth of stuff before they would even do that much. She said the cashier told her that this was their policy. Sure enough, in our sale paper their policy was in tiny, tiny fine print-upside down! She had $110.00 worth of stuff and promptly walked out leaving her cart behind. Needless to say, she was NOT HAPPY. Check your sale paper before making the effort to shop only to be disappointed. She will never shop at KMart again.

      • Dannonb94

yes, you have to read the fine print … but done in smaller transactions, this sale is great – and they do it pretty often. so, hang on to the coupons until next time!

    • Agh092362

I just called the Kmart in Fort Oglethorpe, GA and they said they are doing the promotion starting tomorrow. Double coupons up to .99, no limit (do not have to purchase $25 worth)but you do have to be a rewards card member. Sign up online or in store. I asked her to clarify and she said a .75 coupon would double to $1.50 but anything from $1.00 and up won't double.

    • Hlbball34

just called the kmart in huntsville al they were rude and said it ended yesterday explained to them that i just recieved and email that there was a new one from the 17-26 and she said they havent heard nothing yet about it?

    • Mattie1018

Our Ad in the Sunday paper was doubles up to $2.00 with a $25.00 purchase on grocery or pharmacy. I used 3 $1.oo off 2 coupons all of which doubled saving me $6.oo on the cereal/fruit snacks which were on sale 5/$10! And when I got home I realized I the cashier only scanned 3 of my 4 cereals..so I got one for free! :D

      • Mattie1018

and also our Ad did say there was a 5 coupon limit

    • val

I called to check in Anniston , AL. They are not participating.

    • Jolley1

Why won't it accept me as a “Shop your way rewards member”???

    • Michelle

I just tried to double the 5-sun-mon-tue-the cashiers have no clue about coupons-also really rude -I think they hate kmart also-could be a good program-but-they seem to be making more problems than building sales so they can keep the doors open-this is in longview, tx

    • dara

oooo thank you for posting this…as we live in a small area and WE ONLY HAVE A KMART…sooo i love these double days and i work it….

    • Gena

I was in Publix's today and the lady in front of me purchased 70 dollars worth of items and paid only 4 dollars…omg. She recommended this site and here I am. I signed up for the class in March but if you have any ideas for me I sure would appreciate it. I will figure this out….I'm so excited!!!

      • Carman

I just started in November… so I'm still new too! But just watch all the videos that Jenny has posted and I encourage to read the comments under whatever store(s) you use. Alot of people post things that I have questions to. And if you have a question… just post it. Everyone's real nice to help out! Good Luck!

    • Cmskelton

I just contacted my k-mart in covington, ga and they are participating…i was told though that you had to have an e-mail address registered with your rewards card in order to participate…just a heads up! It was easy to do online!

    • Grinbyrd2

Does Sears Essentials double coupons when Kmart does since they are affilliated and both participate in Shop your way rewards?

    • Linds..:)

Oh no…is Kmart seriously trying this doubling thing again?! I def don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but I tried to participate in Kmart's last doubling event and it was an all out JOKE! I made a special trip to my nearest Kmart which is about 20-25 minutes away from my house. I should've taken everyone's comments into consideration when they advised they had encountered so many problems with them. First of all, I took the time to look at all of the items to ensure I would use my coupons to the best of their ability. I also made sure I met all of the requirements… spent $25 before coupons and taxes, only used 5 coupons and they were all $2 or less. Got to the register, and none of my coupons would double. The cashier seemed to have no clue about coupons. She tried to tell me that the event was over when it didn't end until two days later. Then she tried to use the excuse that I hadn't spent $25. Well, my total with my single coupons taken off was $23. Ok…let's come up with another excuse. The next one was I could only use 5 coupons. That's how many I had. No more…no less. Then, the manager had to come take a look and throw in her two cents. She came up with all of the excuses the cashier did and also tried to say that they did double. Wow…I was astonished. This is basic math here, people. The manager refused to accept my coupons and make them double! I wasted all that time and gas for NOTHING but a lot of aggravation! If you know you can have a pleasant experience at your Kmart…go for it. If not, I would advise you to take everyone's comments into consideration like I wish I had done. I HATE Kmart and Wal-Mart for that matter and will NEVER shop either one again! Their deals are not worth the aggravation the employees give when trying to use coupons, return things and price matching. It's ridiculous that they advertised things and then don't want to hold up their end of the deal. They act like they are losing money when they should actually be getting more business. Oh well…I'm done raving for now. Just felt I should give anyone who doubts a heads up. But otherwise… HAPPY COUPONING!!!

      • Jitturbugz

Ya know its really funny,,,, I just read your whole post and honestly,, I think I could have written this WORD for WORD… this was MY same experience the last week or so when they were suppost to have “Doubled up to $2.00” to say the least I left there pretty ticked too………. glad it wasnt just me!! =)

    • Galveston 2000

understand fully -I am tranf scrips today -to say it nicely -will never brother them again -longview tx

    • TheodoresMom

Had no problem a few weeks ago and called today to confirm. St. Andrews Rd, Cola is doubling up to $2, and it will be for 5 (maybe 6) coupons. They didn't say on the phone if they had a minimum (last time you had to spend $25).

    • Amandangiles

Just called store in Knoxville,TN and they are participating. The gal, Amanda had paperwork by her that said no restrictions on purchase amount or number of coupons but the customer had to have a reward card.

    • Aspenromano

Just did awesome at my first Kmart couponing experience. used my 75 cent off cereals coupons for all the $2 cereal, 12 boxes for 50 cents each! Oh and a big Vday dog for my 2 year olds b-day next wk for $6! Yay

    • mmathews79

my kmart wont accept internet coupons….booo

      • Geff

This is another thing that irks me… why would they not accept internet coupons? They have them on the Kmart website.

        • mmathews79

that's a goo point! maybe that should be pointed out to them, not that it will do any good

    • Geff

I'm a little confused. Why wouldn't ALL Kmart stores be participating? Are they not all Kmart stores owned by the same corporation? That must makes no sense to me. They should all be participating and not have a choice.

    • Jennifer

Eh…was not impressed. found all my .75 qs but only left w/ a couple coffee mates for $1 each and free mentos. oh well.

    • Grl1

Total waste of time!!! My Kmart has tripled prices on anything that had a coupon out ” What a joke. They've just lost what little business they would get from me.

    • Nannakay1

Huh! Kmart is a joke!! Me and my husband went and I was loaded for bear with my coupons! But could only use 5 that's a rip off!!! will not do that again!! I will go to Walmart I have always saved a lot of money with my coupons and I don't have a limit!!

    • Shirley

I called my Kmart and asked if they were participating and they told me NO. But since this is a “shop your way rewards” program I thought “they've got to do it.” I walked in and grabbed a box of cereal, went to the register, scanned my rewards card and checked out with no problem…my coupon automatically doubled once it was scanned!!! I smiled as I paid 50 cents for my box of Golden Grahams and went back to shopping. I don't think the associates have a clue what goes on in the store.
If you live close enough to one, then my advice is try it and see…make sure you hand over your rewards card first.

    • Anonymous

Here is a list of all participating stores! I found it on their Facebook page.

*I called my store and they did not know anything about it, but since it is listed, I am going to at least try!

    • Sunny

I went to the Cornelia, GA Kmart yesterday and the customer service area didn't know about the doubling coupons up to 99 cent. I had them call the manager and the manager told them that it started today and that the coupons will double. Well, when I went to check out, my coupons didn't double and no one knew what to do. (They did scan my card, but they didn't scan it till at the end after they had scanned my coupons. Maybe that is why? I don't know.) Anyway, since the check out line was getting real long, I just told them, I didn't want the items I had coupons for since they didn't double. (It was kind of funny because when I was trying to explain to the cashier about the doubling of coupons, the Kmart radio that plays over the speaker system was talking about doubling coupons up to 99 cents. The other people in the line were telling the cashier that they should double them since that was what they were saying over head.) I wish Kmart would get their act together. I really can't believe they are still in business!

      • Galveston 2000

I e-mailed k-mart & was told ALL stores were included-now if they would just tell the stores!

    • jessc5

What a complete waste of time. My Kmart didn't carry half the products I wanted, and the other half were riciulously overpriced! I left empty-handed.

    • Anne D

My cashier knew nothing about the doubling coupons up to $0.99 so did 1 transaction with $0.75q to see if worked. That transaction went fine. Next one gave 7 coupons (2 for $1 that as not supposed to double) and ended up with a mess where voided several coupons. Did get money back from the service desk for some of the coupons, but was told of limit of doubling only 5 coupons/day and 1 in second transaction could not be doubled. When got home realized they did not me the face value of that coupon either. Tired of messing with Kmart double deals until they get their policy fixed!

    • Kelleyharold

Went to KMart to buy a specific item from their circular this week. Decided to try their doubles program. I printed their info from their website about it and had it in-hand. Of course, they don't carry most of the items I wanted, or they are horribly overpriced. When I asked the cashier about it, she said that was last week but she asked someone else who said the same thing, so I showed them my printout and asked if we could just try the two items I was purchasing with coupons. If the coupons didn't double, I was not going to buy those items. It worked. The cashier seemed shocked. I must compliment KMart today, though. Great service. Usually it's horrible.

    • RuthEJenkins

Kmart is the worst when it comes to coupons. Most of the cashiers have bad attitudes and some of the managers have no idea about being professional. I used to get great deals at Kmart but now I'm trying to stay away when they double the coupons, it is just too much aggravation.
Last yeard, I had a customer service supervisor give me a hard time, tried to embarrass me in front of customers. I called Customer Service, received a phone call, apologizing for the employee's behavior and got a gift card. Whenever you get bad service, call Customer Service, Shop Rite is the only store that there isn't really no one to call. All other stores need your feedback, it is the only way they know what is going on at their stores. I have made many calls and so far got very good results.
