I know this is not the place to ask, but has anyone had any experirnce (positive or negative) w/ the shadow shopper.com?  I inquired and they keep sending me emails.  It sounds a little fun and my mom could do it too.  I just did not want to respond without hearing any feed back and wish I had not.  If anyone knows where I should go (blog, etc..) please do tell.  I would like to here from people who have actually done or know someone who has.  Thanks

Hey everyone!! Got some Crest tp yesterday and looks like their extending this 10for$10 into this week….Just wanted to let you know theres a catalina for $2 off next trip when you buy Crest—–Not sure how many you need to buy, but I got 6 boxes for FREE w/my cpns, PLUS the catalina! Happy shopping :)

      • aujones99

I split my toothpaste purchase into two transactions and received TWO catalinas for $2 off my next trip.  WOOT!!

      • Nancy

The Crest catalina is supposed to end Sunday, July 31.   When you purchase $6 worth of Crest (based on shelf price, not sale price), you get $2 OYNO.  I've been doing separate transactions all week, purchasing 3 Crest each time, and getting a $2 OYNO each time.

        • Jenny

how do you use the $2 catalina? is that for your next entire kroger purchase or just when you buy crest products?

          • Linette

Mine was off OYNO. My daughter purchased crest in her own transaction and used my catalina on her crest, and ivory body wash. She only paid 13 cents.

          • Nancy

The $2 cat is to use on your next order of anything, but it is rolling if you want to use it on another purchase of Crest.  :)

          • Mycoupons0314

I believe the Catalina actualy states CAN NOT BE USED ON P&G ITEMS.  I could be wrong tho… dont have one in front of me.  So if that is the case, you should not be using the Catalina to roll.  HTH

      • Julie @www.luv2bfrugal.net

I bought 3 and got the Catalina. You need $6 wor th, but it is calculated on the before sale price.

      • Mmmm

You have to buy 4 crest toothpastes

        • Mmmm

Whoops – I just read the lady below – I could be wrong – I have been buying 4.

      • Mycoupons0314

Actually you only have to buy 3.  Well at my store I only have to buy 3 to get the Catalina… It prints based on the pre sale price.  And pre sale they are $2.39 per toothpaste. :-)  YAY

      • Frances

Remember the Crest catalina prints only through 7/31 also (same as Cottonelle).

    • Jenny

I really want the oral b toothbrushes, i got a lot of coupon for that, but the krogers around my area are out of stock already.

      • Tori_rn

can't you get a rain check?

      • Brewerlisam

Mine here in Canton has been out for the last three days too.  :(

      • aujones99

Mine was out, too… But then a stock person told me of a HUGE DISPLAY in an aisle near the pharmacy.. After FOUR trips to get my tooth brushes (good thing I drive by on my way home from work), I was DISAPPOINTED to see this huge display, literally hidden in the back of a section halfway across the store from where it is regularly stocked!!  But I finally did score my 4 free tooth brushes.

        • Laura

There was a huge display (out of the way) right in front of the pharmacy in my store but it only had crest toothpastes & whitestrips. It was still fully stocked tonight indicating no one is finding it. But it didn't have any spaces in it for toothbrushes.

    • AngieN

Does anyone know if/when Kroger will do 4x fuel points on gift cards again?  They did in June but not in July… hope they run it again soon… I love getting $1/gallon off at the pump!

      • jam

They did it last December at my Kroger.  I bought a lot of gift cards as Christmas presents (not just Kroger gift cards but retailers and restaurants, too)  I loved it!!! Plan to do it again this year if it's offered.

      • the kroger “delta” region ad says the 4x points for gift cards is going on July 27- August 9

      • Laura

It was on last week and this week BUT the sign in the store says it's only for Lowe's gift cards. My paper ad said 4x and had a pic of only a Lowe's card so I verified at the store to make sure.

    • grams

I was told by our local Kroger manager that Kroger puts their weekly ad paper out 2-3 days prior to sale. can't find it anywhere….any info would be so helpful as how to get it….thanks

      • Nancy

Some people get their Kroger ad in the mail on Thursday or Friday before the sale begins on Sunday.  The Southeast (Atlanta) region has their upcoming ad posted Friday PM around midnight on kroger.com.  Mid-Atlantic has their upcoming ad posted Saturday PM around midnight on kroger.com.

      • Frances

Check Kroger's website  on Saturday.  Next week's ad is posted for my zip code.

    • guest

When Kroger offers 10 for 10…do you have to buy 10?

      • sarahcas

No, you can buy however many (or few) you want.

    • Mickicakes73

      Does Kroger accept Publix coupons?

      • rodjon

here in augusta they do not but mabe reginal, i would check with your local kroger they will tell you for sure i just know here in augusta ga they do not.

      • Brewerlisam

Here in Canton, GA Kroger does not accept any other store coupons

    • Bee

Was kind of expecting more from a Cartbuster sale. Oh well, I guess I will look around and see what's happening at other stores this week.

Our Ore-ida fries are $2.50 but that's really no deal at all.

      • Chris

The Alexia is the only deal I see worth the trip.  They had a $1.50/1 Q available through their site if you left a review of their products – makes them free on this sale.  Otherwise I agree – nothing exciting.

        • Bee

And it looks like Jenny has indicated that deal lasts through 9/10, so plenty of time to take advantage.

          • Chris

Thankfully!  I need to clean out my freezers to make any room!  LOL

        • Shellyburg2

except there are non for sale at my kroger

    • Kittykat_1502000

I am new to shopping at Kroger…I know that there is a catalina deal for the Cottonelle WYB 2 get $3.50 OYNO or WYB 3+ get $4.50 OYNO….my question–is there a limit of one per customer?  For example if I bought 2 & got the $3.50 OYNO and then did another transaction with two more, would I get another catalina?

      • Nancy

Yes, you would get another catalina.  :)

      • Frances

This Catalina is only good for Sunday, 7/31 at my local Kroger.  Check your dates in your Kroger store.

        • Nancy

The Cottonelle catalina at Kroger started 7/8/11 and ends 7/31/11.  Perhaps you are getting it mixed up with the Walgreens deal that's only good for Sunday, 7/31,

          • lovecouponing

but dont use the same RR towardsyour next cottenelle because if you do then it will NOT print another one!! unless you have different RR from some other deal..hope that helps

          • Frances

I was trying to say that with this ad starting 7/31, you can only get the catalina on  Sunday, 7/31.  The rest of the week the catalina will not print although you can buy the Cottonelle at the sale price.

    • Mslonas

so glad to hear everyone getting the great deal on Crest tp and the $2 catalina (I posted earlier about this, see below :)—-I also meant to say the Betty Crocker fruit snacks in our region (East TN) are 69 cents/ea!!!! Its also part of the GM deal, (buy 4 General mills products, get $6 off/checkout) and paired w/the 50cent/2 ,,,,,that makes them 19 cents a box!!!!! I was so excited, I have 4 kiddos, so I bought 8 boxes ;)

      • Mslonas

OH SORRY!!!!! Meant to mention this deal ends at midnight tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Guest

I noticed my Kroger was completely wiped out of the Softsoap 7.5 oz. handsoap. Which means a lot of ppl used the coupon incorrectly! The coupon was for 8 oz. or bigger size! I myself decided not to buy the larger size b/c I'll just get handsoap later for cheap or free on another sale.

      • Chandlerz4

I agree about the Softsoap!  My Kroger still had some but I knew it wasn't the right size.  A friend of mine told me the coupons worked regardless of size but I still didn't have the heart to do it.  I'm like you and will have to wait for another sale where the coupon i use matches the product.  Knowing me, alarms would go off if i tried to use them on the wrong product..lol!!

    • Mist

Can you receive multiple catlinas for the same item in one transaction? For the hamburger helper deal if I buy 6boxes would two catalinas print? Thank u!

      • Becky_presnell

I don't think so, I bought 10 crest toothpaste on one transaction and only got 1 Catalina. However it was a dollar amount not a quantity.

      Kroger – AtlantaGA, AL, SC

    • Fay

I have paper coupons and i also see where e-coupons can be loaded to your Kroger card.  There are advantages to both, e-coupons do not double but sometimes they are at a larger money value.  Is there anyway i can use both on my weekly trip to the grocery store?  The way i do it now is get the checker to run up all items, then give them my Kroger card, then give them my paper coupons.  If i start loading e-coupons on my card, do i do my checkout the same way or change the way i check out??

      • Lorifgreer

Yes you can use both as long as it's not on the same item

      • Mycoupons0314

I know at my Kroger they ask for the card at the beginning.  I think IF they dont scan it before your Q's, then the ecoupon will work on top of your coupons.. kinda like stacking with is NOT OK at Kroger.  SOOOO… I have figured out why they always ask for the Kroger card first!!

        • Releford Jennifer

If you don't scan your Kroger card prior to scanning your coupons then any coupons you have that will double will not double.

          • Chris

Thanks for that!  I don't shop at Kroger enough so didn't know they link the doubling to your having a card.  That bites but I guess it is what it is.

          • Linette

i went last week and didn't have my kroger card out yet and the cashier rang my groceries then paper coupons and they all doubled as they should then she rang my kroger card. I found doing it this way the system don't freeze. She said the card only gives you the sale price. It worked and transaction went smoothly for a change usually the system freezes and have trouble checking out because system then gets slow.

      • Fay

Thanks for the reply, so to claify i would have them scan the groceries first, then hand them my kroger card and then the paper coupons last??  Or give them the paper coupons first and the Kroger card last??

        • Val

According to Kroger coupon policy you can only use one manufacturer coupon per item. Ecoupons are manufacturer coupons and can not be combined with a paper coupon. Give them your card first and then at the end of the transaction they'll scan your paper coupons. If you have an ecoupon and a paper coupon for the same item the computer will reject the paper coupon so, if your paper coupon is a better value make sure you delete the ecoupon from your card before you shop.

        • Chris

Or what you could do is ring your transaction, give them the paper Qs, THEN have them scan your card so the eQ doesn't get in the way.  If it rejects the eQ then great – no hassles.

        • angela

you have to hand them the plus card first and then the coupons if you hand them the coupons first and then the plus card the coupons that are supposed to double will not double…

    • Mycoupons0314

Anyone know who I would contact about my Catalina NOT printing for the Crest deal?  I remember seeing something a while back with a phone number listed but I can't find it.  :-(

      • Sunshine211

Google catalina and you will find the phone number.  have your receipt handy they will need all the info.

      • Debohat

        Catalina 727-579-5000.

    • Likeitoldwoody

Found out last night while shopping in my local krogers by the manager that ALL the kroger stores that still double and triple coupons will be stopping it. He said that corp. sent emails out to every store that some time after Aug 1st. they are going to stop it all together BUT he was unsure of the exact date. He also told me that every item will have a strict limit on the amount that can be purchased.

      • Chris

What area do you live in or what Kroger location was this?  If they did that in Atlanta Publix would eat them for lunch (or really a light snack based on their footprint here now).

        • Likeitoldwoody

I live in North La. Krogers and brookshires are the only two stores here that double and triple coupons. Recently on our local news people have been doing interviews on how much money they are saving by shopping krogers and having their shopping trips on tv. The manager implied that krogers was getting unwanted attention from all of those so called extreme couponers. When they stop triple/doubling coupons i will go back shopping at brookshires and price matching at walmart. Our brookshires does not have mega sales and most of the store employees are not very friendly especially if you have coupons. But unfortunately i have found that many of our stores are limiting the coupons they are taking.

      • Trish

If that is true, hope they can expect to lose a lot of business!  I for one will take ALL of mine to Publix.  Right now I shop at both equally and frequently.

      • lina

they did a test in houston area couple months ago and it sucks after they stop doubling, but our manager told us after they test in here they will stop double everywhere. i just dont shop at kroger after they stop double, i usually price matach at walmart

      • Laura

I really hope they would lose a ton of business for that. But I'm always startled at the # of people in line in front of me that don't coupon who could probably care less. The cashiers ask “do you have any coupons?” and I hear reactions of God NO!, HA!!, as if!!.  One guy looked totally offended and snapped “do I look poor to you, hell no I don't need to coupon!! I just shake my head at all of these people at how much money they “waste” IMHO.
Lately I have taken about 80% of my business to Publix and if this happens it will be 100%.

      • akmilly

I'm surprised Kroger thinks this is a good idea. I'll just move my business entirely to Publix. Publix accepts Target coupons and doubles here. I'm afraid Kroger will be sufficiently displeased & surprised after the huge drop off in business. Publix, in my experience, is always more friendly and accommodating to coupons anyway.

        • So will I, no more Kroger for me if they stop doubling, its not worth it. I already get  better deals at Publix.

      • zebbie

If they stop doubling, I surely will shop somewhere else.  I pass 3 stores on my way to kroger because those stores do not double.  If I can't get a double coupon at kroger, there is no reason for me to go out of my way any more.

    • I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, CentBite.çom

    • Teecee

There were a lot of Kroger card ecoupons at the web site this morning for sale items that are not listed here — like the OreIda fries and Combos. I usually only do ecoupons for store brands since they are not doubled, but if Kroger is going to do more to offer coupons to go along with that week's sale items, especially for things that so often don't have paper coupons, then that will be great.

      • Teecee

Correct — the items are listed here, the coupons are not listed here.

      • Brad Schneider

Cashier told me today that they changed their policy, now you can use E coupon along with manufacture coupons.

        • Mizbizeeb

I went yesterday and the register wouldn't take any of my paper Q's because I had E Q's loaded on my card. The manager overroad the ones that I didn't have E Q's for. My store doubles so I lost out on a few dollars there, I wanted to cry when they handed a stack of home printed Q's back to me. It must be different at each store.

    • MK

Don't see the GM cereal deal mentioned here. Maybe it's regional but I would love to see some coupon match ups for it.

    • Sha08

To everyone that shops at Kroger… don't forget to take your .50 colgate q and pick up 3 tubes of toothpaste for free and you will get a $2 catalina!

      • Trish

        Is it Colgate or Crest???

        • Caosmom

      • Laura

I bought 3 crest but the only cat that printed for me was $2/1 bottle of  Listerine zero :(

        • Frances

The crest catalina was to end 7/31.

    • Tracey

Today I got 10 Crest toothpaste @ $1 used the $.50 off that doubles and makes it free and I receive 5 $2 off catalinas.  Also the Kandoo wipes are $1 use the $1 off and its free.  The brut deodorant is $1 use the $1 off that expires today and its free.

      • Laura

The crest packs all said $10 worth of free coupons inside so I was really excited….but disappointed when I opened one and they are for stuff I'll probably never buy.
$7 off 3d white strips professional effect
$1 off Iams dog or cat food
        $1 off secret clinical strength
        $1 off cover girl

And no catalina printed for me so I had assumed that must have ended yesterday.
Does anyone else's box have different coupons?

        • Cheshirecats4

i bought 3 crests and got a $3 catalina today in Frankfort, KY

    • Bianca J Burnett

    • Mgodwin09

is there anyone out there that sticks to TIDE liquid laundry detergent (not the HE) that has figured out a stockpile price?

    • Angry

Just left Kroger in Rocky Mount, VA. Saw 3 girls sitting in the floor taking coupons from all the Sunday papers. They put them into 1 paper to buy. The Mgr. was notified and stopped them. But the girls were still allowed to leave with the one paper and all the coupons they stuffed into it. I like coupons too but this seems to be stealing.

      • Dtcox

they are doing this all over v a too . and the nerve to steal in front of you the cops are watching close now that that show has made it worst to even save 1.00 are find a paper in our area . the cops has the tags and are waiting may help/////

        • strange!

Last week I went to Kroger to get some Shampoo that was 50 cents!! and some Toothpaste. After I picked up my 2 toothpaste, this women came behind me and  took the rest! There had to be 20 or more in there bin! I saw her buggy and she took all of the kitchen soap as well! how did she get all of those coupons?! I am just glad I got there before her!!!!!

      • Hillbillyjoewgun

I know a man and woman here in ky that deliver the paper for additional income and two weeks ago someone broke into their house and stole all their sunday papers off of their kitchen while they were gone. They had to replace the papers with their own money.

        • Dtcox

this is so sad hope they can sleep at night

          • Chocodonut

I hope they can't sleep at night!

            • Chris

I think dtcox was referring to the ppl who were robbed not the robbers.  The robbers obviously have no qualms about breaking into someone's home to steal something so simple as coupons they'd probably do anything – so I doubt they have trouble sleeping.  But the folks that were robbed – that was so wrong.  Just for some coupons (although the thief was probably going to sell the papers and/or inserts).

        • Eric

I used to deliver the papers years ago before the hype on coupons.  We don't make enough to cover something like that.  We need to pray for those individuals.  Coupons aren't worth an eternity in a lake of fire!

      • Chris

Seems to be?  That's absolutely theft.  If you or I had done it we'd have been arrested for shoplifting.  What's even sadder is that some adult sent them in to do it.  Amazing that instead of spending the couple of dollars to save so much ppl resort to what they have been doing lately.  Around Atlanta a lot of stores have started putting the papers near a spot that is closely monitored or, like the CVSes and gas station I went in to they put them behind the counter and you have to ask for them.  Just amazing.

        • akmilly

Yep, one of my first attempts at starting my coupon pile was thwarted when I bought papers at my local Kroger. They seemed “new”, unshuffled – bought 4 and discovered that all the actual inserts were missing. Thought maybe it was luck of the draw until my friend told me she got her papers earlier with coupons from Kroger with no problems. It's sad people resort these insane measures – I hope the people unethical enough to steal inserts grow bored with the amount of real effort couponing requires and stop…or at least get caught and punished. :( The places I get my papers now have them stocked directly in front of the counter and I haven't had trouble since.

Speaking of, does anyone remember on Extreme Couponing when that woman had a room for inserts? And she said she got them “from God”? Something about that always struck me as off. How in the world could you legally get all those inserts??

          • Diamonddodge9

She stated later in the show what she knew a friend that worked at the Newspaper and that she had TONS of people giving them to her weekly. It still seems like A LOT!!!!

          • Brad Schneider

I worked at a printer for a period of time, and there is a lot of inserts that go to the shredder. They destroy all the ones that get cut wrong, or if the color is off, etc. It would be easy to intercept a trunkload of inserts without any hassle.

        • Specialkids

sometimes you can ask the manage for any left over papers; outer price in the right hand corner is all that is needed to get credit for sales, they disregard the remaining paper. Sometimes the managers will keep the insert for you if the deliver is allow, inquire!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So for the young ladies to take the coupons, no guidance, let's just hope …really needed it. The parents were probably mean parents.

          • Chris

I actually emailed the AJC today to find out if I can order a bulk subscription and what kind of pricing they would offer.  If I can just have 5 or 10 papers delivered each week I would be happy with that – but not willing to pay more than the store price (and I even told them I would put a lock box outside for the delivery person and they wouldn't even have to wrap them). We'll see what they say.

            • Rettarae

I know the local papers are trying to get their circulation up. I was able to get 8 papers per week of just the Saturday and Sunday paper for 6 months for $110 delivered to my door.
I get 8 because there are 6 people in my family, and the rule is a paper per person, but the 8 actually cost less than getting 6, so ask for the deals.

      • Cheshirecats4

My friend works at Walmart and saw a woman put 3 quarters into the newspaper machine outside of the store. The woman then took every paper that was in the machine. Pitiful.

    • Hillbillyoewgun

Can you use the Q for hot pocket snackers product for just regular hot pockets??

      • CB-Arkansas

I was wondering the same thing.  They've shown that match-up before on this site, but I don't think the coupon covers anything but Snackers.

    • Farrah

I live in Ft Worth and our Kroger has a great deal on milk and cereal; get two gallons of milk free when u buy 4 GM cereals or fruit snacks or nature valley granola thins or bars.

      • Dtcox

ours in v a last week was get 6.00 off whenyou got 4

    • Laura

      There's a coupon in redplum today for buy a dove ultimate women's d.o. & get a dove men+plus care d.o. free.

kroger has the ultimate on sale for 2.99 in a bonus pack with a free reg size body spray. The regular price on mens & women d.o. is 3.98 and the spray is also 3.98 so I got all 3 for only  2.99!

Dollar General did a bit better than Kroger this wk. They have dove d.o. 2 for $4. i didn't want the men+plus so I just got 2 ultimate women's and used the buy one get one free…so that's like paying a buck for each. ; D

Anyone know what region OH is in??  Specifically, Cincinnati?

      • Jenngriffin28

I am not sure but a lot of these items are not matching my store in Fort Thomas??

    • chixnthegarden

M&Ms are 2/1.00 there was a .75 cents off of 2 a while back if you still have it. it makes them pretty cheap

    • Chris

Kroger has the Pillsbury Scrambles for $1.79 (at least in Smyrna, GA).  Pillsbury has a manuf Q on their site (requires sign-up for access) for $1.10/1.  Makes them $0.69/ea.

    • Tryn2sav

Help! Can you use a Bogo coupon from the internet at Krogers?

      • Chris

Sure!  They don't like to take the free item Qs.  But the BOGO should be fine.

      • Laura

Depends on your store. One store near me won't accept any internet printed coupon that has a higher value than .50 but the other store nearby has no limit on IP's.

    • Hillbillyjoewgun

Is there anyone else running into the problem with the shelves being empty on the sale items?  I was at our kroger in Lagrange ky on sunday morning (first day of the sale) when the store opened up and when I got to all the sale items they were all gone. This has happened two weeks in a row. I asked a store employee why and they said they were sold out and their stock truck would not be there until thursdays. I have been unable to buy anything from Kroger that is on sale.

      • Asmith

I found some Krogers to be better than others on having items in stock

      • TnSara

yes! I'm going back tomorrow or Thurs and if that happens I'm going to get a raincheck on those items.

    • Jen

There's a new q out for 80cents off 4 hamburger helper and catalina for up to $2 off when you buy 5. Trying to figure out how to make that work together?? Or not such a great deal?

      • CB-Arkansas

I bought four hamburger helper (our Kroger had them for 1.00) and used the .80 off q (so 3.20/4)  I also had a catalina from last week that was buy 4 get 1.50 off your hamburger.  Then it also triggered a new catalina of save 1.50 off your next hamburger purchase!  So I was very happy!

    • Jodispink

I went to Kroger today and did very well on some closeout items, like splenda for 2.34 and Dominoes sugar, but for the first time Kroger would not allow me the whole amount for items that were cheaper than the coupon.  For example the spenda essentials was on closeout for 2.34 and my coupon was for 3.00 off spenda essentials.  It beeped and she would only put it the coupon amount for 2.34.  This happened on several of my items, so what would normally be a money maker was not.   Has anyone else had this happen recently?

      • Dtcox

in v a its free now no overage

        • Shavon

So I wonder when Kroger cashes in these coupons if they are just requesting the smaller amount of the product and not the full price of the coupon?? Seems like there would be some sales tax not collected on the overage amount??? Maybe I'm thinking wrong……

          • Melinda

I was wondering the same thing.  If coupon is for $3, but they only give me $2.50 off for the item.  Are they making money off you with coupons?

            • Mary

yep.  I am trying to avoid Kroger now.  It's not right.

      • Laura

Mine never beep, if an item is $1.09 and my coupon is $1.50 it just auto deducts $1.09. It's been happening for months.

If your store doubles & you have a .50  and the item is .74 on the receipt it shows -.50 MQ then -.24 doubled Q.

Also if you have a e-coupon that is more than the price of the item you get $0 off, they won't deduct e's unless they are less than the item price. I remember a few months ago there was a $3 e coupon for something, then it went on closeout for 2.75 so everyone thought they'd get it free but no one did.

        • Frances

Where are you located?  Have you tried a coupon with an overage lately?

I went to Kroger in Aiken, SC and was given a very hard time by the cashier and customer service about Reach Floss .89 (with a $1 coupon).  I did not want the overage (although it would have been nice) but wanted the free product.  Finally, the manager said I could do it.  I contacted customer service on Saturday because the cashier was rude about coupon use  and have not heard from them.  Please contact customer service or ask to speak to a manager anytime you have a problem.  I  feel strongly they need to know!

          • Chris

See this is just BS.  You know they're getting the full value of the Q reimbursed so why has it become a big deal?  Now they have to make money on the Qs too?  Plus the handling fee they get back?  This nickle and dime stuff is just getting out of hand.

      • TdotS

        That sucks!

      • Rettarae

I ran into that for the first time last week and it left me with my first ever bad experience at kroger. The item I was buying was for 2.50 and the Q was for 3 and although my item was free I felt they were being dishonest to the manufaturer, who will give them 3+.08 for handling. I feel this policy is dishonest and even wrote them about it. It is not my fault they have an item priced for less than the Q.

      • Mizbizeeb

Yes, actually even worse at my store in LA yesterday. I tried to use a $1 off on a $.95 item and the cashier refused the Q completely. She told me that they would only take a Q if it's no more than 75% of the value of the item??? I'll skip that cashier from now on because I got free softsoap a couple of days earlier but those Q's didn't have overage. I wanted to get free dawn but they wouldn't give me a raincheck because it wasn't listed in the newspaper even though it was on sale. Kroger used to be so easy going with their Q's but now they're getting very strict.

        • Jesssiesgirl2008

I live in tupelo ms and have always had a good experience shopping at kroger until last week the cashier told me I was stupid for using coupons and when people do use them cashiers just talk about how stupid they are then he over charged me $38 I went to customer service and got my money back but I could not get over how he talked to me and about all of us who use coupons so I called the Corp office and kindly reminded them that it was people like us that kept them in biuss we wil see how it goes this week

          • Mizbizeeb

Well I don't let them get to me on a personal level. I'm the one who gets to be a SAHM with $40 xtra bucks in my pocket from my last grocery trip alone. So in the end the joke is actually on the cashiers squeaking by on Kroger salary paying full price for their living expenses, not us!

          • Chris

See – now that's why folks like that will always continue to make minimum wage. If it had been me I would have gone to Customer Service, gotten my money back, then gotten a Manager and gone to that cashier's line to have him repeat to the Manager what he said to me – and when the cashier refused I would have repeated it in front of him.  That was uncalled for and unnecessary – don't ppl know customer service jobs include providing customer service?  If I ever spoke to one of my company's clients like that I would be fired.

          • Efranks41

I agree with Chris…these kind of folks need to be confronted by their managers and yourself. That kind of talk is uncalled for. Since I live in the Tupelo area and shop at Barnes Crossing store, could this be the store you are referring to? I have had one of the young male cashiers there behave rudely before. When he can't get the coupons to go through, I just ask for his supervisor. She always takes care of it. I'm convinced he doesn't like couponers but I really don't care. Also, there is an evening manager named Rocky who is very nice. If he ever treats me badly, we will have a talk with Mr. Rocky!!!

      • Mommyndaddy_of_3rascals

I understand your frustration. Just be glad that they dropped it down and allowed you to use it. I've tried to do that twice now, the first time with pretzel M-n-M's and I can't remember the 2nd item. Either way, when I tried telling the cashier and then the manager that Kroger's policy said to drop the coupon amount down to the price of the item, both of them argued with me and so I ended up getting angry b/c unfortunately I didn't have a printed copy of the policy with me so I not-so-nicely told them to take all the stuff back off of my order. Of course, the cashier we went to is an elderly woman who scrutinizes any coupons you give her like you're trying to use forgeries or steal from the store. I understand their caution and concern however her snotty attitude every time we go through her line is completely uncalled for. My point being, I would be happy if they'd just drop the coupon down and let me get the items, lol.

        • 3GAKids1521

It's not like they aren't getting reimbursed for it either.  Might want to think about finding another cashier if you have that option since she gives you so much trouble.

        • Mary

I wish I could be happy with just the free item after they devalued the coupon.  I just can't do it.  There is absolutely no reason for them NOT to give overage.  They are getting back the face value of the coupon.  There is no way to designate on the coupon that the item was a lower amount, other than the coupons where a value must be entered.  For the first time, I had this happen to me at Kroger last week on BenGay.  It would have been 21 cents overage.  At first he said he couldn't take it, then said I will put it through for $4.79 which is the cost of the item.  I just told him to void the item.  I will use my coupon at Publix or WalMart where things are a little more legit.

    • Brad Schneider

My Kroger had a Q pad up for free pudding cups when you bought three Chef Boyardee cans. Too bad I didn't have any codes for the Chef Boyardee .50/3 Q's.

      • Jackie

email me at ChurchvilleStore@aol.com…I will send you some

        • DJ

WWhere does the code come from?  I don’t understand what they are asking for.

    • Ctkennington

I went to Kroger today and got the free Crest toothpaste the cavity protection one and each box of toothpaste had $10 in coupons inside.

      • Dianne L

What were the coupons for, please? Thanks!

        • guest

I found the same ones, in mine were
$1 off any 1 secret clinical strength
          $1 off any covergirl product
          $7 off any 1 crest 3d whitestrips
$1 off any 1 iams dog or cat food
          All good till 1-31-2013

    • Drew'sMom

      does kroger accept walgreen rr??

      • Dianne L

Not at any I know of here in GA. I don't think they take any competitor coupons! :(

        • Drew'sMom

aww bummer, I thought I had read that somewhere but I guess not. Thanks for answering my post though I really appreciate it!!

      • guest

        Bi-Lo will accept Walgreens coupons.

    • Marileelamberty

I found out that the Kroger by my house, in TX, they have changed their coupon policy again.  They now only accept 3 coupons per like item – ugh!

      • Jcwiakala_44

Does your store have self check-out? You can do multiple transactions.

    • Medigrl1

Hi all I was just on coupons.com and i put in this zip code  84717  and there are milk and cheese coupons any brand.

      • zebbie

The coupon says its only good in Idaho and Utah

        • susanne

It says “valid only in the states of ID and UT and at participating retailers”.  I am going to try to use mine!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Znprncsswrrr

I can't find the Alexis frozen product at kroger??????

      • coco

did you check in the health food section is where i found mine??

      • Denise

It's in the organic section. :)

    • Cheshirecats4

Tennessee Pride refrigerated gravy for 25 cents. Kroger has it on sale for $1 and there is a .75 on any TN Pride product out.

    • Fsu1april

How often is Gatorade G2 on sale at Kroger?  I got a bunch for the $0.49 a few weeks ago.  This week is $0.79 and I wondered if that's a good price.  Will it go lower again within the next month?

      • Sue

My soccer kids go through tons of the stuff in this heat and I usually grab it anytime I can get it below $0.50/32oz.  Sometimes there is the sporadic free bottle coupon here and there.  There was also a Publix deal back in May for the big 64oz size (good for refilling the smaller bottles) that worked out to something like $0.75/bottle after coupons, but generally, I think anything below $0.50 is good.  JMHO

      • AJandBreesMom

I agree with Sue, anytime you can get it for under $.50 its a deal. I $.79 is okay I am not sure how often it goes on sale. I remember last summer for at least most of August, Kroger had Powerade for $.48. My volleyball player does not like Powerade and my golfer doesn't care which one he drinks.

      • Mary

I wish I could have gotten it for 49 cents.  I was thrilled with 69 cents here a few weeks ago.  It hasn't gotten down below that since last fall in my area.  The 32 oz. are usually anywhere from $1 to $1.75 regular price, so I jump on 80 cents and less.  Everytime there has ever been hang tags at the store where I shop, others have taken them off and just left the part around the neck, so I have never gotten a good deal with coupons.  I have two teen ball players and go through these drinks like crazy!

        • Buff

People who steal hang tags without buying the product drive me batz.

    • Dtcox

in v a they are some changes  aug 1 the lady let me see what corp had mailed all the stores ;no more overage . limits on some coupons and only use free coupon one time per item still double as of now .

    • Check the Kroger website!  Just got an email about the “deal of the day” and today's coupon is 1.50 off Klondike bars.

    • Shad

I saw on here someone posted that domino sugar 5# bag was on closeout at 2.04. Where is that? I went to my Canton, GA Kroger today and customer service said they hadnt heard of this. It was priced at $4. :-(

      • The Domino sugar at my Kroger in Macon, GA was over $4 as well.

        • guest

Good luck finding Domino sugar where I live.  Both Walmart and Kroger were wiped out this week.  I live in a fairly small town of about 50,000 and was shocked to see that!  How can someone use and store that much sugar?LOL!!

          • Couponinggirl

Well, in the south, its prime time for canning fruits. My mother in law makes peach jam, fig perserves, and pear butter during the summer. It takes a ton of sugar to can all of that fruit!!  :-O

      • Jodispink

At my Kroger they were not marked down so I had the cashier scan it to see and I got the 10lb bag for 3.00 with the dollar off coupon.  I think they just don't have time to get everything marked down

    • Debbie

I can't say that I blame Kroger for limiting the # of coupons on like items. I am so tired of going to the store and finding all the “free” items out of stock. I try to limit my “like” items to 3 or 4 anyway. I don't want to be the person that wiped the store out. If I am fortunate enough to have more coupons it is easy enough to make another trip to the store.

      • Dtcox

        debbie well said bless you

      • Margoren

Sadly, mine limits to 3 like paper coupons and 2 like printed and the freebies are always out of stock anyways.

    • Debbie

I went to Dollar Store  to get 2 papers on Sunday evening. They now have to keep them behind the counter because people keep stealing the coupons out of them! How low can you get! These dear ladies that work in these stores have horror stories about the lengths people are going to to steal the coupon sections. Come on people! Those of you out there that are participating in this practice are going to ruin it for all of us! Seriously, the paper is nearly half price in the first place! It is only costing you a dollar! If you only get one good .50 coupon doubled you have broken even!

    • Samantha

I have to to Kroger twice to try and get the Ivory soap anf both times were sold out.  One timr that I went I saw a lady that had at least 30 maybe more.  So there again unable to get any.  Crazy crazy whats wrong with these people

      • Jcwiakala_44

Get a raincheck. The coupons won't expire for a little while

      • Mommyshortstuff

Last time I checked Walmart sold them for $0.97 so you'd get a 3 cent overage.

        • Laura

Most walmart's don't double so it would only be 50 cents off there.

    • Deal4erica

Deal of the Day today is $2.00 off Cottonell bath tissue.  I like these high value coupons.  Unilke last time, I have had any problems with login, website crashing, having to be in the “elite” number of folks that actually go the deal.

      • Bee

I agree. I actually got several of the free ones last time, but I feel better about how they are doing this promotion so that more people are happy.

      • Dtcox

i got this too how long will it last on card or do you have to go that day to get im stumped on this deal . right now ////

        • Laura

All the ones so far this week say expire date 8/31/11

        • Laura

the items are from the cartbuster sale that ends 8/13. the coupons are good thru 8/31 but you should use them before the sale ends 8/13 to get the best price

cottonelle 12 pk sale is 5.99
          klondike sale is 2.99
ore ida sweet potato fry sale is 2.49

I don't normally buy any of these products but these “sale” prices don't seem too great without these high value coupons. So far they are not products I generally see many coupons for so that's cool.

    • Stephy

When you buy the tide dos the two dollars come off automatically or does a coupon print for 2 dollars off a future order?

      • Dtcox

mine came off on ticket 2.00 off out from the tide i bought

      • Mine came off automatically, i thought it would print a $2 off your next order but it came off at the end of my order.

    • Sholson83

I just moved from Nashville to a little town in West Virginia for school and there is a Krogers here in Fayetteville and was wondering what region this would fall under?

      • Mommyshortstuff

You are in the mid-atlantic region.  Fayetteville huh?  Very, very cold in the winter…

    • Peggy

Just curious – what was today's deal of the day coupon?  I couldn't get it to work today.

      • Peggy

Never mind.  I tried again and got through this time – it's $1 off Ore Ida sweet potato fries.  Don't know whether I'll use that one.

    • Bliss

Anyway we can get the SW region added on as well? :D

    • Dswhitby46

when I went to print a coupon for $2 for Silk had to sign up for their website and then it only gave a .75 coupon when I hit print!

    • Elizabeth

The Alexia fries at my Alpharetta Kroger were full price :(

    • Ncbear972

Where or how do you get the Kroger mailer I see on this site sometimes?  I am new and still learning.

    • Cmscrapbook

You mentioned all of the regions except the TX/ LA region, which is a region of it's own.  Which list should I use… or is mine missing all together?

    • When Jenny puts up the sale items are they at there rock bottom price and we should buy them if we need them even if we do not  have a coupon?
