If you shop at Kroger or a store affiliated with Kroger, you are in luck.  Kroger is offering a new instant win game in preparation for the Daytona 500.  All you have to do is login or register to play and be eligible to one of the 10,000 instant win prizes.

Many of the prizes are free food products!  The game runs through February 27th and you can play it everyday until then so get to playing!

This is for a new Mega event that starts Sunday.  I’ll have the coupon match up as usual Saturday afternoon but you can see all participating products now if you want.

    • Glosmommy

Looks like there may be some decent deals coming!!

    • Carolyn

      I won Wesson Oil Yipee

    • Missy

I won Betty Crocker fruit snacks. You can't use these loadable coupons at Publix can you?

    • landonsmom

so is this like Kroger's version of RR? I have never seen a mega event that wasn't an instant savings at the register?

      • sarahcas

It is instant savings at the register, you just get an extra $3 coupon to use later. So really, it's kind of like saving $6.

    • ireneY

      “Save $3 now, save $3 later” Hmmm… that's a new one!

    • jessc5

I got an email from “Boxtops” today that will work GREAT with this coming sale. It is a $10 rebate after buying 10 Boxtop products. It also said it was for “our most valuable customers”, so just watch your email!

      • Thall561

But I could not print the rebate

    • Bee

I won a variety box of Betty Crocker fruit snacks earlier today. I must say…another Mega Event?! This one looks pretty interesting. Maybe I can put to use my fistful of Tornados B1G1 coupons that I cut out of the boxes that were purchased with B1G1 coupons.

    • Thall561

I am going to have to build more shelves

    • The Lunch Lady

I just bought the Lloyd's BBQ on clearance….it must of been a specific flavor because they can clearance it out and then sell it again. Well they could, it just wouldn't be very smart!!!

      • Beth

        What was the exp. date?

    • Cami White

Would we get the $3 savings for the next trip for EACH multiple of the 10 items we purchase? For example, if I purchased 40 of the mega event items, would I get four $3 coupons for later use? And, I'm also wondering if there will be date limitations (or if we can use it the very same day we receive the $3 off coupon)…
Has anyone seen anything like this before with Kroger?

      • Lasmith9454

It comes off your bill before you pay.

        • Kittikat1119

This is only partially true. This deal is different than anything they have done before. What will happen is that $3 will come off at the register and a $3 off your next purchase coupon will print for every 10 products you buy. What people are really needing to know is if you purchase 40 products, will you get 4-$3 coupons printed or just one. 4-$3 off the bill should come off without a problem, it is just the other $3 offer that people are unsure of.

    • Crystalhook1

Have you heard anything about Kroger changing their coupon double and triple policy???? If so can you make a post for people to email the store off the website or give a good email to get their attention that we do not want this!!!! They are no longer going to double more than one coupon! No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Bee

I have not heard anything about this. Our area stores only ever double coupons up to .50. To be frank, I do not redeem that many coupons that are this value and lower. Most of my coupons are $1 face value and up. And considering I will still get face value for the lower coupons, I would only see a loss of $4-$5 per 2 weeks' grocery shopping, if even that. Besides, I see more and more coupons coming out with values of .55 to $1.00 and I believe it's an attempt to cut down on doubling from that direction.

Again, I have heard absolutely nothing and it may be unique to each Kroger store whether they impose such limits.

        • Crystalhook1

Apparently people went yesterday and the store changed it policy that now they will only double one coupon now! Which is crazy I havent gone to my store yet to try it, but if this is true I am going to e mail them everyday til they change it back! After all this is what sets Krogers apart from any other grocery store.

          • Bee

Do I understand correctly? Is it one doubled coupon of that coupon type? Like if you have two of the same coupon, you can only get one doubled? Or is it just one doubled coupon of any type per order?

Either way, it doesn't sound too customer friendly. I would say it has more to do with your store manager than anything Kroger Corporation wants to support. I am constantly getting good coupons in the mail from them and almost 100% of my cashiers think it's great when peoplo use coupons to save.

            • Crystalhook1

lets say I had 3 50 cent coupons which would normally be doubled to 1.00 Well if I took all three to the register only one would be counted as a 1.00!!! That is a horrible change and if it is so that this is the new coporate policy, I will not shop at Krogers anymore,a dn just go to HEB where the prices are lower and they have store coupons you can stack with manf coupons.

      • Stacey0216

I have been coupon shopping for a year and a half now. I have heard so many people in stores say that they are about to change the coupon policy. I have yet to see one change……

      • Ginger

Hey everybody back east. I hate to say it, but it may be true. I'm in CA, and our Ralphs, which is a Kroger subsidiary, changed about 2 years ago to only doubling one of each kind of coupon. (They used to double 2 of each kind.) Also, they will only double UP TO 50 cents, with a limit of $1.00 total. So if you have 2 coupons for 50 cents off Phily, for example, they will give you 50, double that 50, and then the other 50 with no doubling. Or if you had 2 coupons for 75 cents, they would give you .75, “double” that one with .25 to make $1.00 total, and then you would use the second 75 with no double. It's kind of confusing, but you get used to it.

    • Marlinttjp

    • Socab3

I cannot get the page to pull up?!?

    • Amy B.

I chose the green car both times, and both times the red car won. Hmmm… I'm all about keeping the same color for having a statistically higher chance of winning… but I might switch my color to red ;)

      • Bee

I picked the blue car and won. I think the chances of winning at any given moment are predetermined and actually have nothing to do with the car chosen.

      • Lcraddockrn

I picked red and blue won :-(

    • Lori

I hope I win something this time! I have always won 2 prizes every time I have played these games, except on the last one….I won nothing!

    • Amanda

I chose the blue car and it did not win. :( Also, I cannot open the participationg products list link. I was hoping to start planning. Bummer. I hope Kroger does not change their coupon policy about not doubling more than one of the same coupon. That is silly. In the Richmond, VA area we have another grocery store called Martin's and they will only double one of the same coupon. I think it is so silly. I only do a handful of deals there, but I think coupon policies like this only hurt the store. However, I do like that they double over $0.50 because Kroger does not. They will double a $0.75 coupon to 0.25. Kroger is still our most coupon friendly store and I shop there the most. I really hope they don't change their coupon policies. I will definately also be emailing them if this happens.

    • The Lunch Lady
