is that a good price on the Gillette body wash? i got one today with tax ect was 68cent but i thought i'd get mroe coupons if that was a good deal never have to much body wash around our house two boys then i have a teenage brother so we can use it but if i might be cheaper eventually i dont mind waiting…

      • Kristy

Last summer I was able to get some free (actually money maker) at CVS & I stocked up big time. But I do think 68 cents is a great price. I just wouldn't go overboard being that the CVS deal may repeat itself soon….

        • Aliciamabel7

Quick ? What was the CVS deal on bw? I have a teen boy and he has many friends that stay over. I would like to know the deal so I can watch for the q's. Just started couponing bout a month ago and LOVE it!! Thanks in advance :)

          • Robin

there is a 2.00 gillette coupon and the body wash is going to be free plus make money at rite aid when the new ad starts sunday. Get it then.

      • Beth

Not in my opinion – I don't pay for body wash, period. If you NEED it, then fine, and sure, it isn't terrible considering how much the stuff is normally, but as far as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc., I never pay for them. The drugstore and their deals are the best place for those types of things.

      • Bryarsmom

No, free is always better. I haven't paid for bw in well over a year.
Last yr you could get the Gillette free at Dollar Gen & Target, as well as CVS.

      • Nicolesheffield07

thanks! i like to get stuff free or cheap and donate it and yes we did need some at the time so i guess i'll just ge a few bottles to hold me over until i can get cheap or free and i'm always looking to be able to get tons at the same time i HATE CVS and walgreens as you can normally only get one at a time if you get the RR or EXCB and i cant go back many many times i have one day to shop and thats about it so i'm looking for deals that i can go al at once and dont have to keep going back! thaks for everyones help!

      • Robin

just an FYI. I also bought the bodywash at Kroker this week. I used ALL my coupons even though the manager of our Rite Aid told me it was going to be really cheap starting Sunday. I just saw the add. Not only is it free, but it is a money maker this week…blahhh Soooo if you can get more coupons now is the time to do it. Hope this helps.

    • Letty391

Can I use a Kroger ecoupon with a manufacturer's coupon on the same item?

      • Keyrahollmer

I do all the time!! I have read that some Krogers are picky, but most will let you. Try it and see, I save alot of money that way.

      • Vijtai01

the best way to do that, is use self scan or u-scan, 1st scan the product, 2nd hit the pay now button, then 3rd give the paper coupon to cashier. If there is a overage than make sure to buy any item that fill the gap between the price.

        • Vijtai01

I did the gillette bw deal today, I bought 1 body wash use e coupon and paper coupon and filled the price gap with 4 pack pudding and bananas.

          • Danielle

I used the ecoupon and 4 paper coupons and got them all for free.

        • Lorannclark

          self-scan — great idea! thanks

        • Kenzbug

I've never used the self scan before. Can you scan your coupons at those?

          • Don

            Yes you can.

      • Angel

        I do!

    • The BreatheRight q WILL work on the 2ct. I was so proud of myself last week for finding those for .99 at Walgreens and now I find out I could have gotten them B1G1 at Kroger this week. BLAHH!!! Oh well, I actually looked for them at my Kroger last week and they didn't have them. That's it. My Kroger doesn't carry them. I just have to keep telling myself that! :)

FYI, the 2ct packs have a q inside for $1.50 off 10ct or larger that is good through Dec, 2012.

Also, there WAS a printable version of the BreatheRight q that will work on the trial packs…can't remember where it was and not sure if it's still available but if you hunt, you might be able to track it down.

My closest store had a huge bin of clearance baking supplies near the front registers. I was in a different store the next day and they had the same clearance products but kinda hidden in the back of their store.

Kraft mini marshmallows, bags of coconut, tins of cinnamon, jars of sprinkles, Keebler ready crust pie shells, Krusteaz pumpkin pie treats kits, blocks of bark, Betty Crocker frosting tubes, paper muffin cups.
They also had a huge amount of a Kroger brand of coffeemate but it was only some type of pumpkin flavor.

I didn't have & don't know of any coupons for any of it, but all prices appeared to be about 70% off.

    • Just beware – I tried to use coupons on closeout items yesterday and was told by a cashier you can't use coupons on “manager's special” i.e., clearance items, then a manager said I could. I posted about my experience on another Kroger post, and a reader commented that Kroger's corporate policy does in fact state that you cannot use a coupon in these circumstances. However, I have looked for this policy myself and have not been able to find it. Basically, your mileage may vary.

      • Managers have the final say on coupons within their store. It will vary from store to store. Advice, be nice to your managers. You get a lot more with honey than vinegar! I'm a Kroger mgnr wife.

        • Bee

While I can appreciate being nice to the manager (and all other Kroger employees), Kroger is a large publicly traded corporation and as such the policies should be consistent across all locations. It's not the locally owned Mom-and-Pop grocery.

I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with all the Kroger employees I have encountered and my manager leans to the side of basically making all customers happy. He is absolutely fabulous.

      • Dee

I was fortunate enough that a manufacturer coupon worked on a manager special mark down on eggland's best eggs that were getting close to the expiration date. Guess it's just hit and miss.

    • Danielle

I got a great deal at Kroger. P & G has the free face wash if you purchase the body wash. The Kroger I stopped at had a clearance on one of the big Olay ribbons body wash on clearance for $2.50. They are alot bigger than the ones on sale at Walgreens this week. Just wanted to share…

      • Kenzbug

I always forget to look in the clearance. I need to write that on my shopping list so I won't forget next time.

    • KJ

I was in Kroger today. I use the crockpot alot b/c of my schedule. Reynolds Slow cooker liners were on sale for $2.19. There was a $1 off coupon a couple weekends ago I believe in the SS which makes it $1.19. They never really ever go cheaper than that.

      • Connie2588

Publix had them for 1.99 this week. After the $1 coupon, they were .99 each.

        • KJ

Really? too bad I don't shop Publix

          • Aamonett

i think target also has them for under 2.. i wanna say 1.72 or something close to it. 1 dollar off makes it 72 cents.

    • Laura Bilz

Anybody having problems getting the Garden of Eatin' coupon? Can't seem to get it to work…

      • Ebonyannette

I've been using mine just fine…

      • Charmainepinto

    • Charmainepinto

      • Kenzbug

I sent Kroger an email requesting one. I'm still waiting for a reply from them. Other members have said they have requested one and were told they didn't spend enough money. If that's the case, I probably won't get one because I just started shopping at Kroger in January.

Why do ECoupon's not double?!?! I went in there completely expecting it to! How do I get this to double?!??!

      • Don

They do not double at my store, but I can use a manufacturer's coupon that gets doubled plus use my ECoupon. Some stores will not allow you to do this, some will.

      • dee

They never double. And cant be used with a paper coupon. If they allow you to use both, its an “accident.” :D
