Here are a few things I found today at Kroger. My favorite thing has no coupons to use with it, but I got a few of the Ball Pickle kits to tuck away for the summer when our cucumbers are ripe. I’m ready for some homemade pickles!

Don’t forget about all the deals in the Kroger Weekly Ad.

Pamprin was on closeout in Alpharetta , GA for 2.19

      • Shinne6

my fist terrible experience at Kroger. Read about this, but thought it would never happen to me. Manager refused to scan some of my coupons simply saying Corporate wont take those. Also stated that they will not allow overage coupons to help with cost of other items. My issue is that is 1. my coupons were absolutely legitiamate- I don't understand assumptions and 2. if the retailer gets reimbursed full mf price plus 8 cents, why do they assume they can profit from the consumer's efforts?

        • Bonjour4paris

Was this in Alpharetta? If so let me know so I can stay away from that store, I only started couponing a week ago!

          • Shinne6

No SW Missouri. Ive had such great shopping experiences until lately.

      • Melanie

Which store in Alpharetta? I show on highway 9 near Windward or at Grasslands.

    • Samantha

I got a $3 coupon for comforts diapers today! YAY! Cheap diapers for once!

    • Bethpurvee

My local Kroger (Martinez, GA) will not let us use coupons on close out deals. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way around it?

      • Ant0288

mine won't on manager special (close to expiring stuff usually), but haven't had the problem with closeouts…

      • ChurchvilleStore

Kroger 294 on Columbia Road is HORRBIBLE about it! This is the only store that acts like this, and that is why I prefer not to shop there. All Kroger stores are supposed to take coupons on everything – they get reimbursed for them so it isn't like they are losing anything. I could understand if the value of the coupon was more than the markdown price, but my stuff wasn't. My suggestion would be to go to Kroger 414 in Evans – they are much more coupon friendly. Either that or go through the self checkout where they won't scrutinize every little thing that you are buying. This store is going to lose business because of the way that they act towards stuff like this.

        • TS

I shop at the Kroger in Martinez and Evans. I go around 9 PM on friday nights and have a really nice guy that checks me out. He always tries his hardest to get my coupons to go through. This last friday night was the first time that my paper coupons would not stack with the ecoupons. He called the night manager over and they said it was a glitch in the system that we were able to stack anyway and that it had been caught and fixed. So…I guess it was great while it lasted.

      • Bauercandace

I live in Martinez, too, and I shop at the one on Washington Road. It's been my experience that it depends a lot on the cashier…. as bad as it sounds, the younger girls will take them on anything, whereas if you get a CSM or one of the older cashiers (or the older guy) they scrutinize every coupon. I've also had issues with the one guy not taking my paper coupons because I was also using ecoupons…. I actually don't think that we are supposed to be combining them, eventhough the computer allows it if the cashier scans them. When you load the ecoupons, it says specifically not to be used in conjunction with paper coupons on the same item. Does anyone else know which is correct?

      • Jenn

I live in Aiken and we have such a wonderful Kroger. They take both my e-coupons and man. coupons. I have on many occasions used coupons on items that are on clearance. If it ends with an overage it goes to my other purchases. Two or three weeks ago I bought 5 bottles of Gillette body wash marked down. At the end they were all 5 free because my e-q paid for the fifth one. I know Aiken is a good distance from Martinez but if you are ever this way. You should try it! C.J. is the best cashier too! Also if I ever have e-q's that do not come off (I carry the printable list of what I have , just so I remember) they will reimburse me at Customer Service. Sorry ya'll are having such trouble with Kroger.

    • Sue Mckellar

I have a $4 ecoupon for the Hydro Razor. Since you're showing it at $2.50 will it still come off?

      • Laura

I have bought 3 different things in the past year on closeout, that I had ecoupons for, and none of them ever deducted. The product and the size matched the coupon on all of them, so I believe their computer must stop the ecoupons from working on closeout items.

      • Liz

I bought the hydro razor on close out last night for $3.75 only because I had that $4 off ecoupon saved to my card. I thought it would be a money maker. After I got home, I realized it did NOT come off on my receipt nor did one other item that was not a closeout. So, I'm not sure where the glitch is. They were both Kroger ecoupons, so I emailed them and am awaiting a response. If they don't give it back to me, I will just try and return it.

        • me

In my experiences the e-coupon will not come off if it is worth more than the price of the item. Example gas x was 3.99 my 4.00 ecoupon never came off until the price of the gas x came up at a higher price (it was wrong so I had them adjust it down) then my coupon came off.

      • Sue Mckellar

Thanks Guys! I appreciate the heads up.

    • Dawnallgood

Some of the Ball fruit pectin had peelies for $1 off fresh fruit. I found 3 last night which made them a money maker.

    • Cathy

I used the “$2 off a Revlon beauty tool coupon” from the Target website at Walmart the other day. The nail clippers were $1.58 so with their new coupon policy that allows overage, I got the clippers for FREE and earn $0.42 towards my other purchase! ;) No coupon problems with the cashier either! Woohoo!!!

Jenny, The Riley family of six from Rural area Arkansas say ” Thank you”. We would have to drive 30 mile just to write the deals down and go home to search the coupon database, so you safe us at least $10 in gas before you save us HUNDREDS on our grocery bill. :-) You can't imagine how much we appreciate your hard work. You are awesome. May God bless you in all that you do.

      • Stevennleah

I don't know about Kroger…but at Toys r us the coupon is just that and the check is a vendor check…so there you can use both.

      • Kingsdaughters453

yes. Check processes just as a regular check would, and the coupon will scan through. I do it all the time. Yay for your new little one!

        • exciting ….thanks it does help cuz i recieved like 6 checks in the mail n i have 5 coupons…..

    • Wendy Moore

where do you get the Kroger magazine coupons? Everytime I ask my customer service if they have any coupons they say they don't give out coupons (like Publix), and that I should just check my paper….

      • Dar11preis

Mine comes in my mailbox so I assume it's tied to my plus card. The more often I shop the more often I get mag's

    • Skdoss76

My Kroger in Ellenwood, GA has some Neosporin and Band Aid varieties on closeout for $2.50-$2.70 each. I used a manuf Q for $1.50 off WYB one Band Aid + one Neosporin product, and I also had the same coupon loaded on my Plus Card (which I totally forgot about!). So, I ended up paying about $1.10 for each item! Woo hooo!

    • SciFiMom

Hi, I'm new to being a regular “couponing” shopper at Kroger, and I have a question.

I use both paper and ecoupons (from various sources), but I don't know where to find/how to get these:

Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet
      Kroger home mailer
      Kroger My Magazine

I've asked at both the Kroger pharmacy and the customer service desk (Knoxville Kroger on Kingston Pike in Cedar Bluff area) and nobody seems to have a clue what these are, much less how to get them.

      Thanks for any information! :)

      • Anonymous

The Kroger My Magazine booklet comes in the mail. Call 1-800-KROGERS and ask them to put you on the mailing list. (be prepared to be on the phone awhile…) You also should register your KrogerPlus card and set up an account at Kroger.com. This will link you into their system to get the personalized home mailer coupons (savings based on the items/brands you buy frequently). Be sure to check the boxes and enter all your info to maximize your savings. Hope this helps! Happy Krogering and couponing! :)

        • sy

Thanks for the advice, Good thing I got around to call corp as on their computers none of my personal information existed.Though on my personal account I have added all that info. When I asked to be added to the mailing list I and was informed that it will automatically come depending on how frequently I shopped at Kroger. Ive just started shopping at Kroger so I was told may take upto 4 months.

          • SciFiMom

            Thank you!

Anyone know about the pharmacy booklet?

            • Tglassx2

I found the pharmacy booklet at the pharmacy counter at the Kroger on Chapman Hwy in Seymour. They was a big stack right there where you pick up your prescriptions.

      • Bianca

I also live in the Knoxville area. I was able to get the Kroger home mailer and Kroger My Magazine by calling the Kroger company. It took a month or two before anything showed up but it has been arriving ever since. I have heard from friends that sometimes it takes a call or two before anything happens. Good luck!

        • SciFiMom

          Thank you :)

    • JHF

I am new at couponing, and I have a question. :)
If I am buying a B1G1 item at Kroger, can I use a coupon that is a buy (2) get $2.00 off plus an ecoupon that is $1.50 off one?

      • Jenn

yes you can as long as your Kroger takes both e-coupons and paper coupons and you buy 2 boxes of Puffs. My Kroger takes both but some do not. HTH!

    • Christina Morris

I cannot get coupons.com coupons to print. They used to, but now they say they were sent to my printer and printed, but don’t print. Anyone?

      • erin

I'm not sure what browser you are using but I would start with that. I use Firefox most of the time and often have problems trying to print coupons on coupons.com – either getting error messages or the coupon not getting sent to my printer. I do not have those problems if I use Internet Explorer.

      • Betsy Bartsch

Try using Internet Explorer as your browser. Sometimes Firefox and other browsers don't recognize when the coupon printer downloads.

      • Skhusher

check your java also…that was my problem several months ago…it needed to be updated.

    • Dtcox

Often when you receive Q's from Kroger they are tailored to your shopping habits.
Keep in mind K is tracking your spending thru the use of your loyalty card.

      • bballmom

Honey they are so simple to make if you use the Mrs. Wages mix. Just get you some jars and mix and it is so easy. Just curious where are you located in kentucky? I live in Lebanon :)

The Comforts Diapers are on sale for $4.99 and in the Sunday paper there was a $3.00 off coupon when you buy one pack. That is $1.99 for a jumbo pack of diapers.

      • The qpon in my paper was for the big boxes while the sale is for smaller bags.

    • Bobbi

I found some great deals on hair products on Manager's Special at the Kroger in West Frankfort, IL. They had Fructis, Herbal Essence, and Studio Line mousse and gel for $1.39, so only $0.39 with $1/1 coupons or about $0.69 with the B1G1 Herbal Essence coupon. There were several other hair products too like Pantene, but I mainly bought the ones I had coupons for.

    • Raenjustin

FYI, I am still able to stack coupons using e-coupons and MF coupons at the Kroger in Kennesaw, GA. I purchased a box of cereal for $2.18 used an e-coupon for $.55 and a MF coupon for $.75. I was able to purchase a box of cerel for $.88.

      • Yes at my Kroger on S Cobb Drive I am able to stack ecoupons with MF ones as well.

      • Aprilholmes3

I can't in Perry, GA. Also they have a new policy when you have a coupon for buy one get one free you can only use two. I had 5 old spice coupons last week and was planning on stocking up but they only allowed the 2. The clerk said this was a new policy they have just started!!! So… this week I will use 2 more since they are still on sale…

    • shops2much

There are peelies on for 1.50 off of chicken when you purchase the new Philly's cream sauce for which a coupon exists…

    • Skhusher

I have heard some VERY sad news today… Krogers in the Houston, TX/LA region are no longer going to double and triple coupons. I will probably not be taking advantage of shopping at Krogers too much longer if I can't get the deals that I have been getting. I am so sad to leave, but I am also shopping for a family of 9! I can't afford to not maximize my coupons, and I don't think that will happen at Kroger once they stop doubling and tripling. :( I hope they realize really fast that this was a mistake and bring it back asap!
