Godiva bars were also on closeout.  2.39 for the dark chocolate ones.  Makes it 1.39 after coupon that expires at the end on month.

      • Nita

That's right…also the Godiva Dark Gems were marked down too…but they were three something.

    • Pbanchetti

My Kroger has small vlasic jars of relish 10/10.  There's a 55 cent printable coupon and some of the vlasic jars have coupons ON them for 55 cents.  Either way makes it free!

      • Lea

How is this free if the coupon only doubles up to 50 cents? You can't stack two manufacturer coupons.

        • Kaciecoupons

Some stores double up to 0.60! That would make it free!

        • Wendy

For those of us who are in Kroger's Delta Region, they double coupons up to 60 cents, and they will double up to 8 identical coupons at a time. :)

    • Mushroom Queen

Can't wait to move back to Alabama so I can shop here and Publix!

    • Sassycat

The Scotch Brite Greener Clean $1 coupon prints with a mail in form for a free tote bag. Buy 2 sponges for .35 ea and get a free tote bag. Sweet!

      • Kristin

    • Kristin

I can't get the Mint Milano Q to print.

    • Thank you Jenny for doing this every week!  Kroger has so many deals they don't advertise, and it's great to know ahead of time if it's worth a trip.
I tried the 0.50/5 Kool Aid coupon last week and it would not double.  Does anyone know why?

      • Kristin

Amen to thanking Jenny!  I couldn't do this without her.

      • Rachel N

My Kroger only doubles coupons up to .50 – I live in Woodstock, GA (outside Atlanta) – maybe your Kroger has same policy?

        • Kellyghaynes

Kroger no longer doubles any coupons in southeast Texas (specifically HOuston area).  It is so frustrating to read these deals and not be able to use them!!

      • Tamjwr

I had the same thing happen to me, and my Kroger does double coupons.  However the kool-aid one would not double.

        • aj

          mine didn't double either

      • Mel

Possibly because it sees the value of the item as $.10.  If there's something that's $.89 and you have a $.50 coupon, the “bonus” coupon is only $.39–it won't truly double to more than the amount of the product.  So if the computer thinks you're using a $.50 coupon on a $.10 item, it won't let it double because you've already exceeded the value of the item.  I had something similar happen with yogurt one time and this is the only thing I can figure out.  I could be wrong, but this is my best guess.

    • Momwithmanyhats

Hey, you know how kroger.com clearly says paper coupons can’t be stacked on e-coupons?  I haven’t verified this, but a friend of mine said she had the cashier scan her paper coupons first, ones .60 and under doubled, THEN she scanned her Kroger card and the discounts plus all the e-coupons came off.  She checked her receipt, and she said both the paper coupons and the e-coupons for the same items were deducted!!!  Successful stacking!

      • Sandy

At my Kroger if your card isn't scanned first the coupons under .50 will not double.

    • Momwithmanyhats

    • Jackie C

My kroger as well doubles the coupons that are .50 cents and below, so I don't know why they didn't double yours.

    • Honeysmith

I saw certain poptarts marked down to $1.39. And Archway cookies for $2.00- ish and there are .45 coupons which doubled will make them just over $1. Saw some cereal marked down, too.

    • Honeysmith

Also thought the Big Slice Kraft cheese was a good deal at $2.50 with $1 off coupon from tearpad making it $1.50.

    • Keisha Morris

Cascading Farm cereal was on closeout for under $2.

    • Joan 56

my Kroger wouldn't accept the printable Scotch Greener Clean coupon! Said it didn't have the necessary code on it! Anyone else had this problem? Also found out today Dolllar General will only accept 1 coupon/item per transaction… But then they let you do another transaction right after…what a waste of time all around..

      • Triciababalicious

it froze my computer up so i shut down, it looked like one they wouldn't accept at my kroger either

      • ireneY

The Scotch Q doesn't scan. The manager was called over and he said they can take one per day per customer, according to wording on Q. So far, I've collected two. It's not a great deal considering I'm well stocked on regular Scotch sponges for free from a mega sale.

As a side note, the character Bandaids are tempting. The Hello Kitties are sooooo cute! They come in an assortment of designs with other characters too. Of course, they are all girly pink! =]

      • Daqr11p

I found this out today when DG would not let me use a cents off coupon with a BOGO coupon.  I told them to just take it off because I could use the cents off at a grocery store, they will take it and double it to boot.  DG is becoming very disappointing to shop at.  Everytime I see a great deal in the paper they are out of stock and/or item size is a lot smaller than I was expecting.  I think I am going to cross them off my list.

    • Hasims

Last week my Kroger had cogate wisp on sale 2 pk for $1 and 4 pk for $2…..50 off coupon doubles to $1 on 4pk and makes them $1, then if you buy 10 you get a $3 catalina off your next order!!

    • aj

Does Kroger double their e-coupons up to 50 Cents too or just take off face value?

      • Mel

They just come off at face value… no doubling.

    • Dawnabradley

I am watching on the Extreme Couponing Show that they are using 5 computers to print off their internet coupons.  My question is do you have to have a printer for each of the computers?  I am very new to couponing and so excited about my new savings!

      • aj

I use same wireless printer at my office to print from my laptop, my husbands, my secretary's desktop, and 2 other ladies use their laptop.  Same printer works for all computers for me.

      • Momiedawg1965

        Different computes but not printers

    • Daisywolf26

I just left kroger and this wasn't posted before I left, agh! I guess I will have to go back. Lol. My savingstar coupons didnt come off but I didn't realize it until I left the store, is there anything I can do?

      • johne

Savingstar coupons do not come off at the register-they are like U promise coupons-they go into your account and you can cash them in when you reach $5 worth, I believe.

        • Daisywolf26

Ah ok that makes sense thanks

      • Efranks41

Johne is right…SavingStar Q's do NOT come off your register receipt. Also, it can take several days or weeks for them to show in your account with SavingStar. It does say that in their policy or where they explain how it works. I emailed them before I realized the length of time it would take. I guess we will just have to be patient. My account still reads 0. :(

    • aj

What happens when you have an e-coupon loaded on your card and you forget it's on there and you also use a paper coupon which is more $ off than the e-coupon.  Does the register refuse your paper coupon or take the greater valued one off or what?

      • Sandra

My experience was that it took the e-coupon and refused the (higher value) paper coupon.  Makes keeping track of your best deal a little harder.

        • Alison

I am trying to start keeping a list of Kroger ecoupons as well as Savingstar coupons in my notebook so I have it with me in the store – decided to do this after being at CVS wondering why in the world I had gotten a raincheck for Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing for 1.99 with no ECB when I only had 1/1 coupon only to realize later I had forgotten about savingstar 1/1 making it free in the end (luckily I realized in enough time to use it today b/c savingstar was getting ready to expire

          • Nancybus

Savingstar coupons do not have any impact at the register.  In fact, you don't get credit for those until the store send the digital data into Savingstar.

      • Caredoll

If you have a paper coupon that you know you want to use, use your Kroger card at the end of the transaction instead of at the first.

        • Alison

I asked cashier to wait and do my card at the end b/c I had read that previously as a way to make sure paper coupons used over ecoupons and the manager who was standing nearby heard me and said that if I didn't scan my card first my paper coupons wouldn't get doubled by the computer – I believed him but was he incorrect?? UGH I am so frustrated about how many employees (including managers) don't have a freakin' clue how things really work.

          • I had this happen. I scanned my card last and none of my paper coupons doubled. Luckily I have made friends at my Kroger and they refunded me the money from the coupons that were not doubled. I have quit putting any ecoupons on my  card until the day of my shopping trip!

          • Releford Jennifer

If you don't scan your Kroger card first prior to coupons that would be eligible to double then they won't double. That happened to me one day.

    • Amy

Our Kroger had the Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer (extend-a-clean) on closeout for $3.99 for the starter kit. There were $3 off coupons (printable – not sure if they are still available) that would make this a great deal!

    • Susanmaharaj2949

Does anyone one if its only the Garnier shampoo and conditioner on sales for the price listed above or styling products as well

      • Mrs. Twilley

This was on closeout last week too. I got some shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner.

        • Leanna

My Kroger only had the $1.88 closeout on the shampoo, and of course they were sold out by the time I got there, but no biggie.

      • Suanmaharaj2949

Opps I meant to say does anyone know if only the shampoo and conditioner is on sale or is it styling products as well.

    • Kristan

Does anybody out there have any Garnier hair products coupons that they could mail me?  Specifically shampoo and hairspray.  I would soooo appreciate it.  Thanks :)

I'm sure I do…do you remember what circular they were in?

        • Kristan

          RP 3/06 and 5/01….thanks :-)

      • Mvond5

        I will mail two tomorrow

        • Kristan

Awesome!!  Thank you soooo much. :)

        • mommyof1

was just wondering where you got the garnier coupons? i havent found any recently and do not have any in my coupon stash.. were these regional?

    • Media Mom

My Kroger store in Canton, GA had the O-cel-O sponges listed as 1.09 for a 6 ct!.  Rang up incorrectly at the cash register.  Saw the mistake after loading my groceries into the car.  Customer service corrected the problem, refunded my money, and gave me a $5 gift card for my trouble.

    • Lisascoupons67

My daughter was at our kroger yesterday and came home and said that there was a sign posted with the lunchables that read “coupons have been depleaded” does anyone know what this means? thanks

      • Alison

I think someone who can't spell meant DEPLETED as in gone – maybe there were tearpad or blinkie coupons that are now gone – HTH

        • Jamiecoupon1

My Kroger had tearpads today so that is probably what it was, the tearpad was empty.

    • Lauren

My Kroger had Gillete bodywash on sale for 3.49…had a coupon for $2 off gillete bodywash, a coupon for buy the bodywash get a gilette deodorant for free, and a coupon for BOGO on the deodorant.  Total: $1.49 for bodywash and 2 deodorants.   Saved $11.68!

    • aj

Thanks,  makes me have to go back and remove the e-coupons for items I have a better paper coupon for :(  Wow thats going to be a big hassle!!!!  Better to know now though than to have a very disappointing shopping trip i guess.

      • Syren026

I do not give them my Kroger card till after I give my paper coupons. I have noticed doing it this way, that sometimes the e-coupons come off as well.

        • mommyof1

just tell them you would rather wait.. i know its hard to confront nasty cashiers, but they are being paid to serve you, right? i was a cashier in my younger days, and they should know that certain customers want things done their way. tell them you would rather wait cause you like to see the price go down at the end.. if they dont like it, tough =)

          • Cashier

Uh huh…and dont be durprised to find things in your bag broken or bruised, and you'd have little way of telling HOW they got that way. Be nice to your cashiers…They handle your food.

            • Belle

And be nice to your customers…They keep you employed.

            • shops2much

one would think that happy customers mean job security…it isn't so.  those employees have to compete just to get 12 hours a week and it's not based on congeniality …it's based on efficiently. So be nice and prepared, or they won't care if a coupon is missed  or the Catalina's do not print.  EVERYONE needs to be professional and polite.

          • shops2much

wow…I bet it's attitude's like yours , transaction after transaction  hour after hour, day after day,  that makes them nasty…surely there is a middle ground .other than TOUGH,,

        • Sandy

Did your coupons double? I have learned that my coupons don't double if they scan the card after coupons.

          • Shaka01girl

When I ran my paper Q's i did noticed they did not Dbl. so when the manger came over she said new rule u MUST scan ur plus card first  then use ur paper Q's in order for them to dbl..Booooo! But i still like Krogers

        • Ashley

Well, I don't usually use any e-coupons, however, at my Kroger in Morehead Ky I once waited til the end of a transaction to give my Kroger card, accidently….and as it turned out, my coupons 50 cents and less DID NOT DOUBLE. The manager said it was because I had not scanned my Kroger card first….but then he refunded the amount of this mistake, and I learned a valuable lesson. Idk if that will happen with every coupon, but just look out for it.

      • Mikeandamybrown

i did exactly thtat, went and removed my ecoupons cause the cashier always wants to scan it prior to my paper ones but can't really tell me a good reason why….so last time I asked his reason and he agreed to do it which ever way I wanted him to…i was nice but pays to ask questions…i am really not sure the best way though

        • Gillyp3864

I only give the K card at the very end of my trans, I don't care what they want.

      • Christy

Why dont you have them scan your card last. I was told it didnt matter if it was scanned last you would not get the ecoupon if u used the paper one. Better than removing….

    • SB

Kroger in Lilburn is closing out Kellogg's Lowfat Poptarts–$1.39 per box. I've got $1.00 off coupons for purchase of 3.

    • Lcline29

Kroger in Middle TN had Almond Accents BOGO today and I had $1 off 1 coupon.  That made $3.59 items final cost $0.80.  I am new to couponing like this and SouthernSavers site has really helped me.  I wonder though why some sales I see in store are not in ad or on southern savers and sometimes southern savers will list a sale  price but the store will not have it.  I went to walgreens today for sunblock that site said was BOGO but the store did not have it on sale…..any help is appreciated.  Jenny is such a blessing to our family.  God bless you Jenny!!!!  My cousins have seen me couponing and seen my excitement over the small things I am doing.  We want to work together to try to get free or almost free items to donate to our local food bank.  There are about 20 of us cousins and we figure it we can each get 25 items a week to donate that can bless others.  Thanks again Jenny!!!

      • ireneY

Your ad may start on a different day — Wednesday? Jenny's area starts on Sundays. Also, Kroger is notorious for not advertising deals. Some couponers carry an organized binder full of Qs they would possibly use. I don't carry one so I don't catch every deal. Sounds like you are off to a great start. Keep up the good work and you'll naturally have stockpiles to donate.

        • Ren

Our ads start on Sun, too, it's just that prices are very often higher here, not sure why?

          • ireneY

Oh, I see. Same sale, different prices. Maybe there isn't as much competition from other grocery stores?

      • Ren

Our prices in middle Tn are often higher than in other parts of the country.  I don't know why, necessarily, but it helps if you look at the weekly ad online w/your specific zip code.  (except for closeouts, of course)  I use this website all the time & it is WONDERFUL, but I go in knowing I might be paying more for something.  The drugstores are usually the same, but not Kroger or even Walmart.  You just have to do the best you can.  Congrats on a great start!!

    • Kroemerk

It is powdered drink mix month at my church's food pantry.  If anyone has (or is willing to enter the sweepstakes to get) the .50/5 Koolaid coupons that they could mail to me I would greatly appreciate .

The Kroger in Knoxville, TN at Cedar Bluff/Middlebrook had V8 fusion 48oz on sale for $2.49 today, which paired great with the $1 off 1 coupon from coupons.com. makes it $1.49 each. They’re normally $3.99.
They also had Brita water filter 3pack refills for $16.99, which makes it $12.99 for 3 filters ($4.33 each) when you use the $4 off coupon that expires today

The organic lemondade coupon can be printed more than twice, would this be ok to use??? They have the same numbers on each coupon though….just wondering if it was kind of like the scotch-brite coupon??

      • Ren

Yes, it is a pdf & is ok to use more than once, just print from your computer.  I have used more than 1 (or 2) of these, without problems.

        • Mel Jolley

          Sweet, thanks!

    • Nickib34

My Kroger (Griffin, GA) did not have Mom's Best Cereal or Axe deo/body spray on Sale.  : (  They were also out of the Mahatma rice…but I can go back this week sometime!

    • Rochelle421

how can you use these printable coupons at krogers when the krogers in IN. will not allow a person to use coupons from the internet. help

    • Nichole_michele

Kroger in Buford, Ga did not have teh moms best cereal or the emergency for the price listed above… maybe next week?…

      • TD

Did you check in the health-food section?

      • Bridge

Mine didnt either in Middle TN

    • vs1999

Naturally, my Kroger didn't have the benefiber on sale. They like to wait until all coupons for an item expires before they will put it on sale.  Kroger is not one of my favorite grocery stores anymore.  Thanks Jenny for putting this list together for us. It saves so much time.  We appreciate you.

    • ireneY

No Garnier shampoos on closeout at my store. Just the big giant sizes for $2.99.

    • I didn't see this anywhere on the site, so I apologize if it's a duplicate or silly question, but when Kroger has items 10/$10, do you have to buy 10 to get the $1 price each?

      • punkin

        • Prpltnla

No, you do not have to buy 10 to get the $1 price each.  You can buy 1 item for $1.

      • Shaka01girl

u can buy 10 items or just one item and pay a $1 for EACH  ITEM, if the product is apart of the ten for $10 sale. hope this helps

    • Robandchris1031

So  I noticed Kroger was Quadrupling their points for gift card purchases. We were going to buy a mower at Lowes…so long story short we  ended up with 6500 gas points!!!!

      • Jngo

how long can you save your gas points?   might want to pay close attention to the dates

    • avaldez100

      • Tina

        Wow, for 150oz? Where?!?!

    • Norma

Can anyone help me figure out the Axe deal.  I see it listed for 2.39 and with a B1G! free coupon Jenny says it winds up being 1.09.  I can't figure it out.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      • Efranks41

Jenny listed as 2.19 for each, so 2 items for a total of 2.19 = 1.09 each….or 1.09 for one and 1.10 for the other! :)

    • Jessicalgreen

My Kroger in Laurel, MS has select types of Pantene shampoo and conditioner (full size) for $3.33 and they have an e-coupon for $3.00 off when you buy 2 shampoos.

    • Ssteasley04

I went today and got suave deoderant for $0.06 ($1.06 minus $0.50 doubled coupon) and got the Curad bandages free!! ($0.99 closeout minus $0.50 doubled coupon) Alot of great deals throughout whole store not in add. Spent $64 with tax and saved $58

      • Gillyp3864

Don't forget you can also get all the free Nexcare bandages you want at WM, using the $1. IP.
        It's a pdf!!!

    • Jessicas Mom

The Kroger here had Ronzoni pasta for $2 instead of $1.

    • jennifer

My Dillons (kroger affiliate) had the deal of my month: Venus Divine Cartridges on closeout for 3.99 from 14.49!~ I also used a 2.00 off coupon!

Some of the Pepperidge Farm cookies had 55c coupons stuck on them

    • ozzishep

The Kroger ads run from Wed. thru Tues. in Arkansas.  I went to the store tonight to pick up a few of the sale items that ends today.  Not only was I able to get those items but the store had the next weeks items on sale too.  It saved me from having to go back to Kroger this week.  And on top of all of this, Tuesday is Senior Day so I saved another 5%!!  WooHoo!!  I think Tuesday is my new shopping day at Kroger!!  :)

      • Efranks41

The same is true for Kroger in Tupelo, MS. I shopped last night as I have on several Tuesday nights and got the best of both weeks' sales! Love shopping late without all the crowds! You get fantastic customer service!  Love Krogering!!!

        • Mandasmash

I shop at kroger in tupelo too. The cashiers at night are wonderful :)

      • Tonks

I made the mistake of going on a a Tues night once and hated it.  They were already tearing the sale tag off stuff that was still on sale so I couldn't tell how much they were supposed to be and it threw me off completely!

I have always gotten lucky that I've had cashiers that would basically ask me if the coupon was valid rather than fight me on it.  I've had one that actually called the store manager for all of my internet coupons and the manager looked at him like he was stupid and said yes of course they're ok.

And it does throw me off when I see the list here that something is on sale and its not in my store (like the Mothers cereal) but I guess every area is different.

    • ctyankee

Friendly reminder, remember to reload your Savingstar account. All last months coupons expired yesterday.

    • Troop949

The Stayfree pads at my store had .50/1 peelies attached, which doubled to $1.  So, I didn't even have to use a paper coupon, and I still got them for 99 cents!

    • angiec

I am so sad and excited, I found out today that our local Kroger affiliate (dillions) in joplin Mo is going to rebuild. I never realized just how much I couponed there until it was gone. Please continue to pray for Joplin and all the lives touched by the tornado last week.

    • Ladyjasper86

Just went to Kroger for the Kool Aid packets in the Aiken SC. Absolutely AWFUL customer service, and rude, ignorant managers. They wouldnt double my perfectly valid coupon, and acted as if I was trying to scam their store because the coupon 'doesnt have numbers under the barcode”.
THIS is why I go to Publix and Bi-Lo. The stores are cleaner and the people nicer, and there isnt nearly as much green meat in their meat department.

      • Gillyp3864

That's peculiar. My IP's clearly have 2 sets of bar codes. The first one on the left has numbers under it.

    • Nan

I was so excited when I saw that Emergen-C was on closeout that a made a special trip just for Emergen-C.  However when I went to my Kroger (Ansley Mall- Atlanta) the 30 ct pack was on sale for $10.49 from $10.99 nowhere close to the $5.29 deal I thought I was going to get.  So sad :(

    • Mrscouponmary

I took my pert coupon to Walmart. Since there is no size limit on the coupon I was able to purchase the trial size and got it for free.

    • Scrappincat

The Singleton Rd Kroger lost a customer on 5/30. They had Reynolds slow cooker bags on close out for $1.19. I had 11 coupons for $1.00 off. ( I was going to buy them at regular price, any way) The cashier said I couldn't use the cpns because the item was already on sale. I asked when that policy went into effect. He called three people over, who all said same. Finaly, the manager came and rolled his eyes, huffed and puffed and said Ok. Every time I have been to that location they have been rude and treated me as an inconvience.

      • ireneY

I've experienced the same at my store, even with their own Kroger Qs. I pointed out that the Q doesn't state that it cannot be used on closeout or sale items. It's dumb register programming since they get reimbursed for manu Qs anyway.

Don't go away quietly. Make some noise with corporate so they can get an attitude adjustment!

        • Mrscouponmary

For both of you I went to the southern saver or coupon divas and printed the coupon policy for kroger, matter of fact for all the stores I go too. I keep them with me and if there is any problem you can be sure they better know their policy better than I do. I always make my stand and if I am right they just have to bear it…

      • Mrscouponmary

If I was you in this situation with Kroger. I would go to the contact area on the kroger website and tell them. They hate to have staff not follow rules and mistreat customers. Let them know of the horrible customer service and the refusal to take your coupons. I bet it will be a different story next time. They also get back to you pretty quick…

      • Eagercouponer

I shop in Tupelo, MS and I sometimes have the same problem. When they have any little problem scanning the coupon, I have been told several times by the young cashiers that the coupon is not allowed on “clearance” items. Pooh! They have gone through before, so I know that is not true!!  I just proceed to ask a supervisor to help and that solves the problem!  Now, if the coupon is more than the sale price, I could understand the difficulty. Otherwise, they had better figure out how to get the coupon through if it matches the product. Scrappincat, don't let them shake you!!

        • Southerndawn84

Had a similar situation in Macon, GA.  Was late at night and I had a cosmectic item on sale for $1.25 and a coupon off that item for $1.00 the computer wouldn't take it so the “wonderful” casheir was like sorry not taking it. So I asked ever so politely could you just try one more time and she looked to make sure the item matched the coupon and it did of course.  So she did something and it took it off. Sometimes they just think your crazy and want you gone so you have to ask and if it still won't call a manager and sometimes it's good to carry their printed coupon policy so that you can at least know what your talking about even if they don't.  For me couponing can be nerve racking but in the end when you bought a tube of make-up for $.25 it tends to be worth the coupon war.

          • Efranks41

I think what she did was an “over-ride”. I've seen that done several times, but they do have to check to make sure the item matches the coupon. I agree with you, Southerndawn, low prices ARE worth the coupon war!!

    • alicia

how am i suppose to get the garden delight coupon that makes it free through facebook? i filled out the information entering the survey and nothing happened.  it didn't send it through an e-mail neither.

      • Ginny

alicia, whenever that happens, or even before, go to the wall page and usually they will post if the coupon is still available. i didn't do that because I printed it monday with no problem, but today it's gone

    • Griffingirl69

I didn't read through all the post, so excuse me if someone has already mentioned. My kroger has the kids cliff bars for .99 and there was a .50 coupon in the last papers inserts (wk before last), so they were free. They also had the luna bars for 1.08 and there was a .50 coupon for them also making them .08

    • Dankc

Just got back from Kroger ad they had a sign at checkout that said they will now only take 6 of the same coupon.

    • Vanessa

I went to my Kroger (Kedron Kroger in Peachtree City, Ga) and used my rain check for Nivea women's body wash for $2.49 with a $3 coupon. He was having trouble with it and called the manager over and the manager insisted that he had to adjust the coupon down to $2.49, that he could “only give it to me free….” I went to Jenny's coupon workshop the other week and I thought they weren't allowed to do that. I mean I know they still get paid the $3 for it so I was really frustrated. Any suggestions would be great on a next time situation. I will definitely print the coupon policy and bring it with me from now on!

      • Mrscouponmary

On the extreme coupon show they say to always place another item with it.That way the overage will be carried onto the next item. They will not give you any money back, this is just not done at kroger, or anywhere that I know of. That way if you want to purchase a pack of gum or a can of pop etc. It would have taken the 51 cents off it. I have seen it done many times on extreme coupon show. They do it a lot. That is how they get the things, that normally you don't get coupons for, and have a zero balance at the end of the shopping trip.

        • Mrscouponmary

I want to tell you that I was only replying to what I saw on the show. I am reviewing the coupons on the internet to see if its legal to do that. I have been wrong in the past. But I wanted to let you know that…

    • Jamie

OK, maybe I'm blind but I can't see the Pepperidge Farm coupon in SS 5/15 or the Lawry's Marinade coupon in RP 5/15. I'm in Dallas area. Help !!

      • I got the pepperidge farm coupon, but I got a lawry's spice coupon, not a lawry's marinade.  Does this matter?  Is it the same?

        • Jamie

Not sure, but I went through my coupon booklet 5 times and those coupons are just not there :(

          • you mean Dallas, TX?  I'm in the Atlanta, GA area.  Must be a regional difference.

            • Efranks41

We have this problem all the time in northeast Mississippi. I don't know why SS, RP, P&G, and GM can't just print all their inserts the same for all regions. It only frustrates people when they look for a coupon that someone else has and can't find it. In this instance, my RP has both a .50/1 Lawry's Spice Blend and .50/1 Lawry's Marinade on page 20. My SS has $1/1 Pepperidge Farm Milano Melts and .50/1 Pepperidge Farm cookies on page 46. The SS seemed extra thick on the 5/15 issue…guess it was just our turn to get a few extra!
I talked to our local newspaper customer service a couple of wks ago because I did not get my RP in my subscription paper. Her answer was “Due to the economy, the insert folks have had to cut back on their prints, and they decide what area gets a particular insert each week.”  She was nice and tried to make up for the shortage by sending extra SS inserts with my next day's paper. Unfortunately, they were out of RP inserts.  :(

            • Yeah some coupons are regional. The good and bad news is that sometimes when a company knows that certain areas get certain coupons, they'll run special sales or coupons in the areas that don't get them. Case in point: In some areas, RP 5/22 had $3 Bengay coupons. In the areas that didn't get them, Rite Aid ran a store coupon in their ad circular for $2 off Bengay the following week. However in the areas that DID get the mfq, there was no RA store coupon. If you hear talk of coupons that you didn't receive in your area, look online for someone in another
area of the country that did receive them. I live in GA, and I got my Bengay coupons from a girl in New Hampshire who had a few extra.

        • Georgiacindi

Yes it matters at my Kroger, gotta be what the coupons says.

    • Onlysleeing979

I have read that some Krogers (Deff. in IL & OH) are having a great Catalina deal on Gerber products…  Like buy $25 of Gerber products and you will get an $8 Catalina back…  Does anyone know if this is going on in Texas Krogers?  THANKS!

      • Onlysleeing979

Well, I called our local Kroger & they don't know if they are doing it today or not… ?   They said it was going on as of yesterday, but as they have not had anyone buy that much of a Gerber product, today, they have no idea if it is still going on…  Here is to hoping, right?

        • Mrscouponmary

You can always call 1-888-8Coupon  if you have problems or questions about a deal in your area.

      • Mrscouponmary

I believe it is at all Krogers. I have it here as well in the eastern part of Tn. If you need to know just call your local store. The manager will be able to tell you. I find them to be very helpful.

      • Onlysleeing979

No luck at our Kroger!!!  I bought $125 worth of nothing but Gerber (which I was going to buy anyway, so it wasn't a loss)  I ended up getting 10 of the “Buy 8 get $1” catalinas but that was it…  Customer service said it was on an “individual store” basis…  Oh well…

    • Puddinpie

Found Bic Soliel razors on sale for $4, used $3 coupon in the 5/01 SS (I think) and got them for $1 a pack.  Also, the yellow pack with 4 razors in it had a peelie coupon in it for $2 off Bella Soliel razors.  Just thought I would share :)

    • Mo

I was unable to get the Mahatma rice for free because the Kroger stores I went to did not carry the 1 lb bags.

    • Georgiacindi

Have been having a lot of problems at Kroger lately, I really don't know why they are wanting to lose customers, Had a chat with the manager, told her that every time I came to Kroger they “changed the coupon policy” and they needed to rethink what they were doing, cause I was real close to never coming to Kroger again.  The “P” store is really looking better everyday.

    • javalover

I am new at this and there were a few unadvertised deals listed above and when I took my coupons into Kroger, these items were still full price. Since they are unadvertised, does that mean the sale price only rings up at the register when you check out? Also, Pert wasn't listed as a closeout deal at my Kroger in Murfreesboro, TN so not sure if these deals are only for specific areas. I guess I have to be careful when putting my shopping list together. Thanks so much for all of this info! I have passed this website onto a lot of my friends who are beginning couponing. In my 1st real effort to coupon, I saved over $140 in 3 different stores…..1st time ever for me so I was so proud!

      • devgwen

Closeout deals vary store to store.  If the tags at your store are full price, the item will ring up full price.  You can just keep an eye on that item as it may get clearanced later.

      • Efranks41

Kroger always has a lot more “on sale” items than those listed in their little weekly ad paper. And those sales differ from store to store…and that's tough to plan from ANYONE'S site. That's why I take my expandable file with me and leave it in the car. If I find a really great deal unexpectedly, at least I have the opportunity to go get the coupon. The register should always ring exactly the same as the advertised shelf price. $140 is a great savings!! Just hang in there…you're doing great!!!!

    • Ccmalloy

I bought two bags of Kroger popcorn kernels for $1 each, much better than all of those chemicals in the microwave popcorn bags.

    • Xxafcutie2004xx

Kroger today had Bic Hybrid Advance Razors onsale today for 3.99…i dont know where i got the coupon but it was for 3.00 off makeing it only .99 cents…it comes with 6 refill razors.

    • KSlate456

Ok, So I had 20 Coupons for the lipton Knorr Rice They were .50 off of 2 So I took them To Krogers I thought well since one coupon per item & were they double up to .50 here at our Krogers I would get 20 packs of Free rice?? Which are priced 10/$10 Well I Only pick up 10 packs & I get to checkout & the cashier points to a sign & says we can only take 3 coupons for any like product. SERIOUSLY? He said well I dont think its all stores just ours ABINGDON, VA is doing this, cause the manager does not want people to clear the shelfs. They had End Caps full of Rice packets & the isle was pretty stocked on Rice Packets also. No way was I clearing the shelf with my 10 packs of Rice….This is Crazy! How would you even use 3 coupons for an Item that is .50 off of 2 ?
I think I will email headquarters. In our Area Kroger is the only grocery store that doubles coupons. :(

    • KSlate456

Anyone who is having issues with this “NEW” Limited coupon per item that kroger has came up with this past week, our Kroger will only accept a ridiculous low number of 3! Go here & Leave Kroger a comment to let them know we are not happy, I mean seriously this is silly & frustrating. Do they not want our business or do they not want us to use coupons?? People are over buying product from the shelves.. SO what? Do your job Mr. Manager & order more product!!
I look for this to get worse before it gets better….

      • julie mars

Is it possible to do several transactions with 3 coupons per transaction?  I know you have to use a kroger plus card but you could have at least 2 cards with a cell number and a home number…..it is a stupid policy, why dont they limit it to ten….that seems like a reasonable number to me.

      • Sarcasticnagel_82

        link is not working.

    • DG

All, I'm new to couponing and have what I'm guessing is a common question – if I have a BOGO coupon, and the grocery store is offering BOGO on the SAME product, does that mean I get it for free?  Also, how do the people on Extreme Couponing save that much $ if they can't use more than 1 coupon on a single product?

Thanks for your time and helping a newbie :-)
