I'm new. How does a Mega Event work?

      • patty

You need to buy at least 10 of the products in the mega event. A $5 credit will show on your receipt before coupon deductions. You usually can do as many deals as you like as long as you have them in multiples of 10 items. You can mix and match what you get. Some people I have seen like to use the reusable bags to keep each 10 items separated. You then don't have to keep recounting what you have in your cart. If you get less than 10 items there is not a 50 cent credit for these items.

      • karen_michelle

Jenny has a GREAT video about shopping Kroger…including Kroger Mega events. On the right side of the screen there is a list of all the postings (right now it is Red Plum new printable coupons, then Kroger Weekly Ad, then Ingles Weekly Ad…). Above the list of the postings (and below the blue boxes Sunday Ad Inserts and Best Deals this Week) are 3 tabs (latest articles, categories, videos). Click on the Video tab. The video is the 2nd from the top called “Come Krogering With Me”. The $5 comes of each 10 items you purchase. For example, you will not get another 50 cents to come off if you buy 11 items.

    • Couponcrystal

I'm kind of new too. It will be my first Mega event. But I'm confused. How do you already have the $5 savings on each product. Did you just subtract 50 cents from cost of said product? I need the paper to figure this out

      • Marina115

The .50 is already subtracted from the item. She's assuming that you'll be purchasing in increments of 10.

Jenny has the prices listed out AFTER the .50 has been removed (She is working on the assumption that you will be buying in lots of ten on all the items). When I am making my list from hers I generally add the .50 back in before I write it down. Then I figure coupons and how many of each I can buy. I then look and see if the price without a coupon is worth it, if I don't HAVE to have it or its not a good price I mark it out. I then add all my Mega items and see if I need to round them up or down. I then subtract 5.00 from each lot of 10. HTH

        • natalie

Thank you! That was very helpful! New to Kroger/couponing. Just what I needed to understand all this!

    • Clean1on138583

Hey there I have a question, When I click on some of the printable coupons it sends me to the target website….. Can I use those coupons at Kroger? Thank you Jenny for all that you do to help our family!!! You are truly a Blessing and we will pray the Lord will Bless you and your family!

      • Jackie

You can use them at Kroger because they are manufacturers coupons that print out and not Target store coupons. Usually these coupons don't print “Do not Double or Triple” on them too – so you can use them at stores that will double coupons and not have a problem. They can be used at every store. Good luck with your shopping!

        • Tigress1321

even if they have do not double on them, most krogers and publix will still double it is a curtsy of the store, they just don't get reimbursed the extra.

        • cb

Mine won't accept them if it has the Target logo on it even if it says manufacturers coupon.

      • Clark7371

My Kroger won't take them if they have Target written on them. I told the mgr. that it said manufacturer coupon and he still refused.

      • itismedia

Like Clark7371, my Kroger will not take ANY coupon that has another stores logo on it, even if it says Manufacture and list the redemption information that doesn't say “Redeemable only at…) I don't even try anymore.

    • Nelmarie

I didn't see the Kroger ecoupons for the Kraft mayo, Oreo cookies or the mac & cheese listed but they should be available on Krogerdotcom. I have them loaded on my card.

      • Deb

        Also Kelloggs cereals…

    • leslie

How do you get the Kroger home mailer coupon book?

      • Dixiesc

I was about to ask the same thing.

        • Mnccaleb

You should start getting the Kroger home mailers after you start regularly shopping there if you are using your Kroger card. It took me about 9 mos to start getting the personalized coupons and about 1yr to get the monthly mailers. You can't request them, so just keep shopping!

      • Ariel

Register your kroger card on the kroger website. It took about 3 months for me to get the first cpn book in the mail after I signed up, but now I get them frequently. Hope this helps!

    • Marina115

Pretty disappointed with this ad. I was hoping for some good deals on household and personal care items. Oh well…

    • Tigress1321

been waiting on a mega event and this one just doesn't do much for me. Probably take advantage of the cheap coke and some poptarts.

      • Mandsaparkle

I agree, I was hoping for some better items, I don't see a whole lot of stuff I'll be purchasing on this mega event, oh well

    • Couponcrystal

Not all of the mega event items are listed in my local ad. (For example the Nesquick and Kingsford Charcoal). Do they list everything in the local ad? Or do you just have to go to the store to find some of the deals? This is my first Mega event, and I'm so excited that I think I'm going today!!!!! Not a ton of stuff that I use, but definitely stocking up on BBQ sauce, cokes, and salad dressing.

      • itismedia

Some that Jenny list may not be available in your store, but for the most part what she list is correct. They do not list everything the ad would be huge! Not that I wouldn't love it. Give Jenny until tomorrow. She walks her Kroger on Sunday afternoon/evenings and list things that are not in the ads so the Mega Event will be even better. =+)

        • Couponcrystal

Thanks. I went today and got a ton of stuff. The Nesquick wasn't on at my store but the charcoal was included. I guess every store varies just a little bit! I was excited to walk out with $68 of stuff for $24.

          • itismedia

            Great job!

    • Linsey

So excited to coupon at my first mega event ! Thank you Jenny for all the hard work that you do for my family!

    • SMcNeil

Just went to Kroger and my store is NOT doing the Mega Events (atleast not today). Our circular runs Wednesday-Wednesday so maybe they will start the Mega Event on Wednesday? Really disappointed when I went in and I had to put some stuff back because it wasn't on sale!!

      • Brooke

Our stores run from Wednesday to Wednesday as well. Usually her prices and deals are the same as my stores and sometimes they are even better at my stores. This is a sneak peek to our ad I guess you could say.

      • Amy

Our flyer starts on Thursday here, so I have a few extra days to get ready too. Sometimes it stinks having to wait for the sale, but I think it's better to have a few days to get my list and coupons ready!

    • Gabriela

      I couldn't find the jello 1,00 off from ss 09/19. I just found a 0,35c one….

Did anybody have the same problem?

      • Brooke

My store triples 39 cents and under q's so for me that would be better than $1 q.

    • momof3

Forgive me…I'm in a Harris Teeter area and I'm moving to a “Kroger” area….Is “Jay-C” the same as Kroger, anyone????? Do they run the same deals? The home we're attempting to purchase only has a Jay C nearby, but it's nice, and it's new…

      • itismedia

Yes, they are. Now if they have the same ad I do not know! HTH

        • Chrkya_ler

No they more than likely would not have the same ad. In fact. Most likely the TN stores don't often match these lists completely because all the TN stores are in a different region for Kroger corp. The southeast region is (NC, SC, GA, AL, and FL). As a former employee of Kroger I can say this. The ads don't always match from city to city. You have to be very careful to notice. Sometimes it's just one item that doesn't match, sometimes it's a whole page.

          • Stacey

I live in TN and shop Kroger by Jenny's list all the time. Usually the major differences are in produce and meat. I just go by the sales flier for these items.

      • momof3

Thanks everyone…I'll be doing my own research for shopping, then, I suppose…:(

      • Jen

I shop in KS (was in SC) and for the “in the aisle” grocery sales do tend to match up almost always, with slight price differences on some items. I always use this site for match ups and haven’t had any major problems

    • kathy

My kroger wouldn't take my kraft $5/5 coupon. They told me they wouldn't use it on kraft items that were already on sale. Then I was stuck because removing the cream cheese that would've been free would have messed up my 10 mega event items. I will ask first next time.

      • ireneY

That's not a valid reason for not accepting the Q. Nowhere does it say “regular priced.” I am planning to buy 5 bricks of cream cheese as well. If they won't accept it, I will return at the CS desk so it won't mess up a carefully-planned 10 item purchase.

      • itismedia

WHAT??? Where did they come up with that one? It doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon. Kroger gets nuttier and nuttier!

      • Banyail

My Kroger in Athens, GA told me that don't take internet coupons for over $1 or $2 off (between 3 cashiers and one manager they couldn't agree on which). But, this was after they searched through 2 different notebooks of fraudulent coupons to see if the Kraft $5/5 q was in there (all the while knowing they weren't going to take it even if legit.) Then, they discussed whether they could give me the coupon back and decided that since they couldn't prove it was fraudulent they would give it back. I told them yes they had to give it back b/c I would be going to Publix where I know they'll honor it and not treat me like a criminal.

        • Brandi92279

In my kroger there are several kraft packages with peelies advertising the $5 off coupon with instructions to go online and print it out! The way they treated you is ridiculous!

          • Renny

Absolutely right!! It is advertised right on the cheese packages, how can Kroger NOT accept it??? Very good point!

        • Eerporter

Which Kroger do you shop at in Athens?

          • Banyail

Usually Alps but this happened at Epps Bridge.

            • Nadkins

I can't stand the Krogers on Epps Bridge. I rarely have any problems at the one on College Station Rd. I used my $5/5 coupon at the one near Jefferson a few weeks ago and did not have a problem there. I just happened to stop for gas at that one to use my feul rewards at their gas pumps and ran in to get some things I needed.

            • Counselingintern2002

That Epps Bridge Kroger is the PITS for coupon shopping. Almost gleeful in refusing legit coupons. I won't go there anymore after my last bad experience.

            • Chrkya_ler

I used to work for Kroger in Jefferson and know the front-end manager at Epps (he used to run the front-end in Jefferson). He's a fair man but he's terribly strict. If he thinks there is any chance it's fake he's not going to take it. He's usually better about keeping his front-end in line about the rules though. I'm sure he would be shocked to hear that a customer was made to feel that way. He's the sort that would have taken the coupon off anyway and given you a gift card for your trouble to keep your business. I'm betting whatever manager was on duty wasn't him. I wish more of their managers were that fair but alas, most of them aren't to customers or employees.

            • Banyail

I definitely won't be returning to Epps Bridge Kroger, either. “Gleeful” is the right word – it's as if they get a bonus or something for refusing coupons and extra points for confiscating fraudulent ones.

            • Eerporter

Really? It is so weird how people can have different experiences. I have had the experience you both mentioned at the Alps Road Kroger.

            • Ren

I usually shop at the Kroger on Abercorn or Mall Blvd in Savannah, and they are GREAT about coupons, but I have heard horror stories from relatives in Athens. They are frustrated by varying policies (per store/cashier/manager/time of day), so they drive to Barrow or Gwinnett to shop. The company is supposedly “customer first,” but I guess coupon clippers are not considered customer anymore.

            • CAROL

I LOVE the Jefferson Kroger. They are so much friendlier than the Athens stores.

            • Eerporter

I only shop at the Epps Bridge one and I have never had any problems. I have used the $5 off 5 several times! I wonder why they gave you such a hard time.

      • Kim

I used mine at Food Lion this week. They have Kraft cheese BIG1 @ $2.79 each. I bought 10 blocks of cheese for $3.95. ($27.90/2 minus $5/5 X2). I think that was a great deal. Equals .40 each!!!

        • Gail Woodward

my food lion would only take off 2.79 each for the $5/5 coupons. Said the computer wouldn't take it.

          • Renny

The computer does scan it. I have had a couple of my 5.00/5's not want to scan, but if they cover the longer part of the upc & just scan the shorter part, it's fine. Also, a manager can enter it by hand, one of my great managers did this for me just yesterday. Kraft cheese is always cheaper at Food Lion. Love it. …don't get me wrong, I love a Kroger mega-sale, too, it just seems to me they are sometimes not as easy w/legitimate coupons, all depends on the cashier!!

            • susie qs

My Food Lion would not take it and treated me like a criminal! I was humiliated! I told the cashier to void the cheeses and she only voided 4. I paid for cheese I didn't even get :( It was the first day of the sales week and they did not have a lot of the items in stock. I called the customer service and she said that the store would get back to me and they never contacted me. This was the Lawrenceville location.

          • Beth

I used a $5/5 at Food Lion this week with no problem. It scanned just fine. I even used one 2 weeks ago at Walmart and was shocked that they took it with no problem. They usually refuse to take printable coupons.

      • Guest

I would personally complain. That sounds totally arbitrary. I understand their policy is to leave it to the discretion of the manager but not to accept because an item is on sale doesn't seem reasonable. I understand your position of going through with the sale but I would have left all of my items. I don't know about now but my Kroger had the singles that had the note to go to kraft to get the 5 off coupon. Sorry about them not taking your coupon. Over the past few months I have shopped less and less at Kroger. I have totally stopped going to Walgreen's.

      • Karen

I would have to question that due to using coupons on all the other items too, does not make sense.

    • mommieof3lilchiks

I got a coupon at nestlefamily.com for $1.25 off any 1 nesquick powder. The Nesquick 56 oz is part of the mega event.

    • Hsmith

When doing the 10 item purchase are you allowed to mix and match. Like buy like 9 Kraft slices and 1 cream cheese or do I have to buy 10 slice cheeses?

      • Brandi92279

yes, kathy you can mix and match however you choose as long as you buy increments of 10!

    • Rachellittle0131

What exactly is the mega event. I am new to Kroger. I usually shop at Food Lion

      • itismedia

The MEGA event is something that Kroger does several times a year. It is basically a sale on select items and on top of thesale if you buy ten items listed in the sale (they don't have to be 10 of the same item, just 10 of the items that are part of the sale) you get an extra 5.00 off your order. Jenny has already reduced the sale prices so you wont get 5.00 off Jenny's prices, it already reflects the reduction (Buy 10 get 5.00 off = .50 off each item). You HAVE to get 10 items to get the 5.00 off and there is not a limit so if you get 50 Mega event items you will get 25.00 off your order, but if you mess up and only buy 49 mega sale items you only get 20.00 off even though your only one off. Jenny has a great video that offers suggestions on how to keep up with how many sets of tens you have bought. It is in the tutorial section. I hope that helps a bit. Its really not complicated, buy ten mega sale items, get the sale price and 5.00 off. If you have any other questions, please ask.

        • gabriela

          where is the tutorial section?

          • itismedia

Look at the very top of the Southern Savers page and you will see “Learn To Coupon”. It is up in the teal area along with the tabs “Printables” and “About Me”. Click on it and there is all kinds of info. The best place for you to start though is about half way down on the right. Jenny has posted videos and one is “Tips for Shopping at Kroger”. I hope this helps, but if you still have questions, post them. We all started at one point and should (I do) remember how frustrating it can be to learn all the rules at each of the stores. =+)

        • Ashley

Say I buy 10 BBQ sauces and when I get the $5 back can I buy 10 more BBQ sauces will it still print $5 more

          • itismedia

It doesn't print out a coupon like the catalinas do, it reduces your bill by 5.00 for every 10 items. For example, today I shopped and one of the items I bought was Vitamin Water. It was 1.00 a bottle, I bought 20 bottles for a total of 20.00. Because they were mega items for every 10 I bought I had 5.00 taken off my total. This made 20 bottles 10.00 or .50 each. In my case I also had 10 coupons for 1.00 off 2 bottles and my 20 bottles ended up being free!!!! SSOO basically, every ten Mega items you buy your total is reduced by 5.00. Does that help?

            • Ashley

Thanks I was doing my shopping list I was thinking that something was going to print out at the end just like a Walgreen you get the RR because I was tryin to do different transactions so I could roll the $5 over to the next 10 items

            • Karen

thanks for posting about the vitamin water I have 9 coupons. I did not even see that.

      • jennicolerob

When you shop the Mega Event be careful. I went to Kroger to day with this wonderful mathicmatic plan that did not work the way I wanted it to because I didn't fully understand how it worked. For example: I had 8 coupons for $5 off when you purchased 5 Kraft cheese products. Cream Cheese is on the Mega Event for .99 so I assumed that I would get all my cream cheese for free since .99 X 5= 4.95 and I have $5 coupon. Which is true, but I assumed that the $5 was additional. So if I got 40 cream cheeses I would get them all for free plus $20 overages. That is not how it works. The $5 for the Mega is what makes it .99. So I was still free, but it did not add an additional $20 in overages. I found that out 40 cream cheeses too late. But I am new to this and I just took it as a learning experience and bought bagels. LOL! My point is to just be careful and pay attention to what you are actually buying and how the sales actually work.

    • Mrsjlb3

There is a $2 pg ecoupon and $2 RP 9/12 coupon for Cheer! That makes the 100 oz. $5.88! :)

    • GAmommyof3

Is anyone else having a problem getting the Q links to work above?

    • donnar100

I noticed the 'printable' coupon you list for the Oscar Mayer Beef Franks is from the Target website and prints with Target's logo (even though the coupon code begins with a 5). Will Kroger accept this coupon?

      • cb

My Kroger won't, but your's might.

      • Katkoupon

My Rite Aid won't take a MQ with another store logo on it, said they won't get reimbursed for them. So I normally disregard any links listed for the Target Coupons, thinking I'd have trouble at other stores. BUT, I really wanted the $1/4 Progresso Soups, was going to try to use at Kroger anyway, and there was no logo on it, just looked like a straight up MQ, scanned at Kroger with no beeps (yay). hth

        • Karen

alot of rite aid's are closing 75 % offf in nashville

      • Clark7371

My Kroger will not take a coupon with another store's logo on it.

    • Maria

Went to Kroger today with 1/2 velveta or kraft mac and cheese, got 20 cups of velveta mac and cheese for free, I have 2 krogers near me, one is horrible and one is Wonderful, they other day my total after tax came to -.34 c and i told her i would get a candy bar to make up the diff and she said i didnt have to, that she would be happy to give me the change!! I went ahead and got the candy bar, afraid it would flag at corp but they are so wonderful, they love it when i go in there and use cpns and drop my total to almost nothing

      • Starr

Can you share with us how you did that? Did you have q's for the mac and cheese? Thanks!

    • Barb P.

Does anyone know if cream cheese freezes ok?

      • Keyrahollmer

I have frozen it and after it thaws it doesnt have the same creamy consistancy, it has more solids in it. It would be OK to use it something like mashed potatoes or pound cake, but not in cheesecake. Hope this helps.

      • JL

You can also use it to make dips and sauces but it is not ideal for a spread but hey its free.

      • Monique

I freeze it all the time..only thing when it defrosts it is not the same smooth texture prior to freezing. But we still use it just the same. It taste just the same.

      • Renny

If you have room in your fridge AT ALL…cream cheese lasts a looonnng time! I bought some recently that exp in March 2011, so, unless you are really planning on stocking up…:)

      • Tdm13

        yes it freezes okay

    • itismedia

Question for anyone that has already shopped the Mega sale…Have ou noticed if the Lean Cuisine Market Creations are part of the sale? I am trying to get my groups of 10 together and I am not sure if I should plan on them or not.

      THANKS in advance!!!!

      • Katkoupon

LC Market Creations were not included in the Mega Sale at my store, just the regular entrees. hth

        • itismedia

Thank you! That saves me from having to redo a set of ten at the store. =+)

They were not included at my store, but they are included in the Publix sale of 4 Lean Cuisine for $10 that ends tomorrow in some places.

        • itismedia

Thanks, that is where I ended up using them at. Regular price 3.79, sale price 2.50. I bought 2 and used a BOGO and a 1.00/1. 1.50 for both!

    • Damahurin

Went to Kroger today and a strange thing happened…our store doubles coupons up to .55 but for some reason some of them only double up to .49 and .29. It was on items that I would have made a profit on, the coupon only doubled up to the amount the item was on sale for. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not sure if this is something new, but it's the first time this has happened to me.

      • Renny

Yes, this happened to me when Speed Stick was .88 & I had a .50/1 (my stores doubles up to .50…), so just .88 came off, still free, but not what I had planned on!1

      • Laura

Yes, it happened to me too. Their register system has apparently been redesigned not to give overage. Oh well.

      • jennicolerob

Yes! This is true. I have a relative that works for Kroger and they will only give you the item for free. They will not give you overages.

    • Kpkayle

I was reading your list and found my way to the cellfire and shortcut sites. Needless to say I soon thought about stacking ecoupons and manufacturers. I did some research at the sites and at some coupon blogger forums.

I still don't understand wether this is possible. One groups says it is possible with Shortcut, some say otherwise. Is is legally possible? Or would it just be a hassle next time I vist the store?

I would love your feedback on this. Thanks.

      • Klonghall

You can always stack ecoupons and paper coupons at Kroger.

        • Jessyca

Oh NO you cant! That isnt true for me where I live. I had a cashier actually print out my receipt and scan everything looked for my ecoupons, then handed me back my paper coupons. It was so embarrassing, she made me feel like a criminal.

    • Clark7371

Has anyone ever won on that ridiculous Kraft mac and cheese spin the noodle game? I play over and over and never win anything. I don't even get points! Am I just dumb or something?

      • Heidi

That game drives me crazy! As soon as I get close to having enough points I lose then all! Ugh! I stopped playing it! In my opinion it is bad marketing for Kraft…they need to make it a little less frustrating!

        • Chazree

Yes, I won my coupons for it a long time ago when it first came out. They still haven't reset it. If you have kids let them play for you if it frustrates you. Mine like to play it even though we can't print anymore coupons. I think it was a limit of 3 coupons any combination. I wish I had known that before printing them.

      • Nichole

I won a coupon for the regular mac and cheese on it…

      • jennicolerob

I got a coupon for b2g1free off of the easy mac and for some reason the cashier made it a free coupon worth $2 off. So I got all three free and they were on the Mega Sale.

    • Teresa

Do you happen to know the price of the tidy cats and which kind it is thats on sale?

      • Andrea

At my store, it was just the 10lb bag that was on sale, and it was $1.49 after savings.

      • itismedia

Mine too. 1.49 (After the .50 reduction) It was the Multi-cat and Odor. I have the big tub and bought it last time it was included in a Mega event and then refilled the tub.

    • rg2327

ok new to all of this, do you get the sale price if you buy 10 plus you get $5 off?

      • Whitney

No, she has already included the $.50 off per item ($5.00 / 10 items) in the price listed.

      • itismedia

Jenny has already reduced the price of each item by .50 (5.00 off 10 items = -.50 per item) so if you go by Jenny's list she is assuming you are purchasing combinations of 10 (mix and match) and has reduced the price accordingly.

    • Nichole Barton

When I logged onto Kroger's website and looked at their ecoupon faq page, it says you cannot use a digital coupon and a paper coupon on the same item…”Can I use paper coupons as well as digital coupons on the same item?

Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item. ”

Has anyone else had problems with this? I'm afraid to load them onto my card for fear that it won't let me use paper coupons after they use the digital coupons…

      • itismedia

My store lets me, but I have heard of a lot of people on here that they will not let them. This stinks, because the paper coupon is almost always better than the e-coupon, if doubled. If I were you I would try a small order and see what happens. People say it doesn't matter, but several others and myself have the cashier scan our card BEFORE ringing up anything and then having them hit total before handing over the paper coupons. Like I said, I have never had a problem when I do it this way.

        • Tr Clark

I have never had a problem, but I always go through the “you scan” checkout and always scan the card first.

      • Tamara

In Nashville TN, at almost every Krogers, I've used both. Ie the card is rang up, items done, total hit, (that is when ecoupons come off, mega deals, etc) /then/ coupons are done. It's worked fine. I did noticed once twice, that ecoupons didn't come off at all and I had to go to the manger, but I didn't even use mf. coupons on those items, so don't think that was the issue.

    • ireneY

Jenny, thank you so much for finding the prices on all the unadvertised mega items!!

    • Tnorman49332

Hello out there. I have a question and need some help. During the Mega Event at Kroger are you allowed to use 2 coupons for an item even if you've only purchased one?

      • Freedomspradley1

You can only use two coupons on one item if one is a store coupon and the other is a manufacturer coupon. Each Kroger seems to be a little different on allowing ecoupons to be used with paper coupons (both are manufacturer). So far, the Kroger in Columbia, SC still allow both ecoupons and paper coupons to be used on items.

      • Becca

No. If you buy one item, you can only use one coupon. Some stores let you use the e-coupons and manufacturer coupons together……but those are few and far between. If you buy 2 of the same item (ie 2 bottles of juice) you can use 2 coupons.

    • Sheli Potter

I went to Mega sale yesterday. My Kroger has decided to stop doubling mfgs. Which blows! I had heard there was some changes in the works w/ the plus card eCoupons & the mfg's being put together. It seems after my trip, at my store, you can only use either the eCoupons w/ the Plus Card & get the sale prices & eCoupons & mega bucks, but if you use mfg's at all, you don't get the sale price, they aren't doubling 50cent or less, AND no mega $5 deals. I believe Kroger just lost my business!

      • Jilljova77

        Which Kroger is this?

    • Jessctr

Where do I find the current Catalina deals?

    • Gabriela

did anybody have a problem printing the rice cookie coupon? I go to the webpage, click on printing coupon and then comes a message from red plum and the coupon doesn't print.

    • rebecca

      does kroger accepts target coupons?

      • itismedia

Mine will NOT. They will not even accept manufacture coupons with other stores logos on them. Check with your CS. Your Kroger could be different than mine.

    • Jeff

$1 off Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Meat, 7-9 oz printable

I can't find this one. The page is blank. Anyone else have the same problem?

      • Ashleyadevine

Yes, I am. I want the coupon too! Help!

    • Dlwdye

I'm new at this and I wanted to print the Easy Mac coupon. It took me to that game and would not let me print the coupon. Also, I tried to print the coupon for the Engerizer batteries and it took me to Betty Crocker but no battery coupon. Help please!

      • Mandi

You have to play the game and earn enough points for the small cup. Very frustrating but worth it. Don't print your coupons until you get at least a 1000 points. HTH! (and then don't forget to print it twice)

    • Jenn

The 10 items that have to be purchased for the mega event, can they be mixed or do I have to get 10 of the same item to get the $5 off??

      • itismedia

Mixed and matched. As long as they are Mega items they count towards your ten.

        • Jenn

          Thanks for your help!

      • Ashleyadevine

can be any of the items listed in their ad, doesn't have to be the same 10

    • Sweetlilsteph23

I know there were some people saying their Kroger wouldn't let them use the Kraft -$5/5 coupon. I asked a worker before I even started my shopping to make sure and they had no problem with using it!

    • AngelaT

One the Edy's Fruit Bars I have coupons for $1 off. I got them a while back and forgot about them. They are good until 12/31/10. I think I found them in Publix or Kroger a few months ago. So maybe someone else has them and just forgot you had them.

    • Julie

Ok…I have searched high and low for the Acqua Panna and the
San Pellegrino. anyone else been able to find these???

    • Karen

QUESTION: so I am doing my list if I buy 5 cream cheeses, 5.00 off coupon, 1 fuze(free from the game) 4 vit water 1.00 each ( 2 coupons 1.00 off 2 ) everything will be free. or does items free from the game not count?

      • Sindyt63

actually your vita waters which are 4×1.00 = 4.00 – 2.00 (your coupon says 1.00 off two which makes it .50 each or 2.00 off 4) You would owe $2.00

        • itismedia

They are 1.00 before the mega savings. For every 10 you buy you get 5.00 off your order. This would reduce 10 from 10.00 to 5.00 and then if you use 1.00/2 coupons (.50 off each one) it would be free. I had been saving up coupons hoping for a sale like this for months. I finally was able to get 20 free. My store has an entire aisle of Vitamin water in the health food section and it is always so well stocked. There were 15 different flavors to choose from!

      • itismedia

        Cream cheese is 1.49 x 5 = 7.45

        Fuze is .99 x 1 = .99

        Vitamin Water is 1.00 x 4 = 4.00

        = 12.44

        – 5.00 Mega savings for buying 10

        – 5.00 off 5 Kraft Coupon

        – .49 Fuze e-coupon (could be .99 off. I am not sure how this one will work)

        – 2.00 Vit. Water (2x 1.00/2)

They should owe you either .05 or .55. You might want to throw something in your cart to cover the overage in case your store wont give money back (mine wont)

        • Karen

I paid under .25 cents. and actually went back later in day GREAT DEAL vitamin water 1.00 coupons are 1.00 off 2 mega events take .50 off thery are priced at 1.00 so they are FREEEEEEE got 72 of them. Coupons are at BP on the front of the drink doors. were at 3 bp's yesterday, also found butterfinger tear pad for 1.00 of 2 they are on sale too. Freeeeeeee halloween candy. wooooo hooooo great day.

        • Karen

my fuze was free from playing the game and also got a free cup of oreo's.

    • Karen

How many transactions of 10 can you get?

      • itismedia

As many as you want! =+)

    • Jennifer

I just checked my ecoupons and my account says I have 33 points that are redeemable until 10/31/10. Can someone please tell me what this is for? Thanks!

      • moneysavr1

Gas points…….when you get 100 you can save 10 cents per gallon on 1 fillup. Points do not carry over and do not combine month to month. Look at the bottom of your Kroger's receipt, it should explain.

So you need to accumulate 100 points before Oct 31st in order to redeem and get the savings.

    • Tutibugs2

Just loaded ecoupons from Kroger.com .75 off 1 A1, $1/2 Bagelfuls, $1/1 Kraft Mac & cheese or Velveeta Mac and cheese, .75/1 Miracle Whip or Kraft mayo 22 oz. or larger, $1/2 Oreo cookies 16.5 or larger$1/2 Planters Big nut bars or South Beach Bars.
I just didn’t see these posted under the products on the sale list. sorry if this has already been posted

    • Twingirl2204

I tried using the Kraft 5/$5.00 for Philly and the store said that it is counterfiet. Have there been any other problems with this coupon?

      • Mjclark1977

I haven't had any problems using it at Publix, but have yet to try it at Kroger.

      • Tr Clark

I've used two of them (not at the same time) at the Kroger here and have had no problem.

      • Amy

There are peelie tags on some of the Kraft cheese at my store giving the website where you can get this coupon. You should check out the shredded cheese at your store and see if you can find one. If they're advertising it in the store, they can hardly call it counterfeit.

      • Gabriela

I used 2 coupons in the same transaction and got 10 cream cheeses for free with no problems…. actually the cashier has some trouble to scan the coupon but she call the manager and the problem was solved…..

    • Question! We just moved to Jackson, MS from Auburn, AL and I have noticed that the Krogers in the Jackson, MS area don’t follow the same sales as other Krogers in the SouthEast… I have noticed things not on sale when they are in other areas, or they are not marked down as much… Anyone know why???

    • Southpawtracy

Today in my Kroger they had a cardboard standup that had a cookbook..Spread a little Joy right beside the special display of Philly Cream Cheese..It states its free with the purchase of 5 philly Cream Cheese products….Since its in an out of the way place of sorts it was not easily noticed….Eitherway..I got five tubs of Cream Cheese and then this really nice cookbook for free with my 5 for 5 coupon….

    • savysaver

Is there a limit on the buy 10 participating items get $5 off order? I don't see one in the ad. I think I have enough for 3 and didn't know if I needed 3 seperate transactions.

      • Lori V

No, there's no limit.. you can do it all in one transaction :)

      • LLH

You can purchase everything in one transaction there is no limit.

      • Gabriela

I went to kroger today and got 30 participating items in the same transaction. But I'm not sure about the limit though….

      • Courtneyslp1

I got 5 in one transaction, so I don't think there is a limit.

      • Karen

        They told me 3

    • melisa

I am going to Kroger for the first time this week, do they accept computer generated coupons?

      • Gabriela

Yes, they do. Make sure you have your kraft coupon 5/5. You will get cream cheese for free!

    • mommydub

I went to the Kroger at Lakeland Plaza in Cumming today and found Kroger brand baby formula marked down from $16 to $3 and some change. It was in a huge cardboard bin with the left over summer clearance items.

    • Sarah

Does anyone know the price on the Kraft Parmesan?

      • Guest

Had a bad experience tonight at the Carolina Forest Myrtle Beach, SC kroger. Jan Grainger “front end manager” was on duty and wanted to refuse my 100% legit valid kraft 5 off 5 coupon. Even after providing the “peelie” from the kraft cheese she still kept the attitude and gave me a “one time exception”. All the while embarassing a customer with a backed up line and one register out of six open. It's one thing for kroger to crack down on coupon fraud, but when you have a legit promo from the kraft website promoted on your products and still want to refuse the coupon … kroger staff has a major problem.

    • Panda

We also had an issue with kroger here in stockbridge ga. The flat out refused to take the kraft coupon for 5 off 5. urg so hate them.

    • Jenifer

The quaker rice snacks coupon is no longer available. :( Oh well…. waited too long to try to print it.

    • Jenissa

when I went to Kroger (southwestern Virginia), I had 3 $5/5 Kraft. I was busy w/my toddler when the cashier scanned them, so I didn't see if they rang for the full amount. After checking out, my total seemed a bit high, so I said, “Did the cheese coupons come off?” And she said, “Yes, they all came off.” But when I looked at my receipt, they had only come off for $1.49!! I got back in line and said, “Um, this didn't ring up right. They each should have been for $5.” Instead of talking to me, she got on the phone with a manager, completely turned her whole body away from me (I guess she didn't want me to hear what she was saying), but I heard her say, “First of all, these coupons rang up as 'illegal', secondly, it asked me to enter an amount instead of ringing up as $5.” I wanted her to have the manager come over so I could speak with with him/her, but she just got in a huff, and ended up giving me $10.50 in cash to “make up for the difference”. It seems like it's not so much Kroger that is messed up (although their computers are ringing it up as 'illegal', but that Kraft has the coupon coded in a way that triggers red flags… I hate it when things like that happen.

    • Krista

Frustrating trip to Kroger today! Although I ended up getting everything on sale the way I planned on it being, I basically had to negotiate with them to use my coupons! I did the 10/10 twice and got the $5 off twice. They said my two b1g1 kraft mac n cheese coupons (printed off kraft website) were counterfeit and they couldn't use them. I told the lady I printed them straight off the Kraft website and she still said they were counterfeit. I finally asked her to go ask her manager and she came back and said I could use them. Geez. Then, they “forgot” to scan two of my coupons, and if I hadn't been paying attention, I wouldn't even have known. One of them was the $5/5 I used for the cream cheese. All in all, I got $62.80 worth of groceries for $31.16. Great deal, but such a hassle! And my poor 20 month old daughter was going crazy from sitting in the cart for so long while I haggled with the cashier!

    • Judy

Question….with this mega deal do you have to buy 10 of the same item or any of the items just 10 that are listed

      • itismedia

As long as it is a mega item it counts so mix and match to your hearts content! =+)

    • Garciagm

Just got back from my Kroger (S. Church St. in Murfreesboro, TN)…I was afraid they would hassle me about using two of the $5/5 Kraft coupons on the cream cheese, but instead what they objected to was the monthly Nabisco coupon for a free Nabisco product with the purchase of a gallon of milk. They told me the coupon has to have the dot-scan barcode under the expiration date or else the coupon is not considered legitimate. I let them know that Nabisco puts this coupon out monthly on its Facebook page and they decided to take it, but this is a heads up on using any other internet coupons there.

      • Lynds876

I have been told the same thing and if there is no marking in th expiration date box, then they will not accept any coupon. They did not take mine.

    • LAB17

There is a stick-on coupon on the boxes of the Kashi cereal that is one sale for $3 off of fresh fruit when you buy 3 Kashi products. And since they seldom put this particular type of Kashi cereal — Cinnamon Harvest and Autumn Wheat — on sale, it's a good time to stock up, anyway.

Having difficulty finding $1 Q on Maxwell House coffee. It links to website. Does anyone know where the Q can be found? Thank you.

      • Jpanzenhagen

It didn't work for me either. I have tried multiple times over the last few days.

      • Connie Powell

Check the coffee cans at your store for the coupon. I found a coupon book peelie on my cans of coffee and it has the $1 off you are looking for. In addition, it also has a coupon for a free International Cafe coffee if you buy 2 coffees!

    • Kaysmom

I had an awesome experience at my Kroger today, felt like I wanted to share since it seems so many of you have trouble. I live in McDonough, Ga. the Kroger at Price Quarters Rd. is great, I never have any trouble with my coupons, be it printables, newspapers, ecoupons, etc. Today I got $205 worth of groceries for $95, when I got home I discovered I only got rewarded for 4 mega events and I was sure I had 5. In looking closer at my receipt I had bought 49 qualifying products, I later went back to Kroger ( I had to go back to the area for other reasons), went to customer service and no questions asked she let me get 1 item and I got my $ 5 reward!

      • Couponcapers

I too shop here. They are so very nice!

    • Teach

I just noticed where some folks are talking about getting the gasoline discount for having 100 pts. You can also get a 10 cent discount by putting $50 on a Kroger gift card and paying for your gas with that. Our high school band has a fund raiser where we get 5% of everything that is put on our gift card, so we put money on the card and then pay for gas & groceries with it. If you check around, you might be able to help out a group at no cost to you!

Can anyone give me the instructions for getting the Boca Meatless coupon off of the Kraft website the click sent me to? I got a run around and around from that website and never saw a Q anywhere. Thank you

    • Carol

Check the fun size plain M&M's. Kroger in Buford has them 2/$4 and each has a peelie for .50. Makes it $1 for each bag. Pretty good for Halloween.

    • Lydaugherty

If you buy 20 items, do you get $10 off then? For the deal?

      • sarahcas

        • Lydaugherty

And if we buy 50 participating items, that's $25 off? Is there ANY limit?

          • sarahcas

Some stores have a limit of how many times you can do it. I've done it up to 4 times before at my store but it varies from store to store. Sometimes it will say in your ad, but the best thing to do is to ask a manager. You can always split it into two transactions and do an order of 40 and an order of 10 or 30 and 20.

    • Lynds876

Can anyone tell me where to find Kroger's new coupon policy? I've search their website and can't find anything and it appears that the link to the coupon policy from this website may be from 2007. I went to my Kroger's last night (Indianapolis) and they refused my Kraft $5/5 coupon with the reason that they no longer accept internet coupons over $1. I want to take this to the manager this morning to see if he'll let me do it as it threw my bundle of 10 off, but I can't find it.

    • guest

Well, the Kroger on Hillsborough Road in Durham, NC just got to void and put away my $106 worth of groceries after they refused to accept more than 2 internet coupons. If that is their policy, fine, but there should be a way to find that out before checking out and bagging all of your groceries. I suppose I could have sat there and picked out things that would have worked, but my purchases were pretty complicated, since I was trying to get my bundles of 10 items in and also buying several Kraft items. Anyway, back to Harris Teeter, I guess . . .

      • sars

man, i'm glad i left durham. that used to be my kroger! just brought back some memories to see it mentioned. :-)

I am having some difficulty finding the $1 off Gain detergent in the RP 9/12. My variation list shows that it is there but I have checked all the Red Plum books from September and late August and still cannot find it. Does anyone know if there is a printable for the detergent, not the fabric softener or dryer sheets? Or where I might be able to find it in the AJC RP 9/12?

Bought 2 DiGiorno pizzas with coupons and got an additonal Catalina for $1 off my next purchase.

    • susansaver

I just printed the South Beach Diet Bars coupon (first link) and it printed a $2/1 coupon instead of a $1/1! They must have reloaded the coupon but I've printed these before and had reached my limit. Combine this with the $1/2 ecoupon on Kroger's website and you get $1 overage!!!!

    • JessicaJ

There was also a $.50/1 Luna bar coupon in the Mambo Sprouts home mailer “Messenger” a few weeks ago. Makes for another free Luna bar.
