Kroger Weekly Ad 2/21-2/27

on 2.20.2010 at 9:56pm

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our disclosure here.

Here are all the deals in the Kroger Weekly Ad starting 2/21. It’s just a normal week, no big mega event, but there are still some great deals.   I’ve updated this list with everything that I could find in the store that was also a great price.  There are lots of closeout deals at the bottom, these tend to be chain wide but are a first come first serve type of deal.shoppinglist1

If you see any other deals please share!

Load the current Cellfire eCoupons before Monday night! They will load new ones then, but you will still be able to use these for two more weeks.  (This way you will have more coupons!!)

  1. Load your Shortcuts and Cellfire Coupons before going out. (E coupons information)
  2. You can use a paper coupon with all the above e coupons WHY
  3. You do not have to buy 2 of B1G1 items to get the sale price
  4. Most Kroger stores double coupons that are .50¢ or less

If you are new read up on what all this means and how to effectively use this list to save the most.

The Ocean Spray printable Q is for grapefruit juice/juice drink only. I don't know about Kroger, but Publix wouldn't honor it for cranberry juice.

      • jhoran

kroger had q around the bottles for 1.00 plus a free bonus pk for the crystals that you add to an 8oz bottle of water. I looked today and there was none. I'm glad I bought 10 btls when I saw those.

    • Cara

My Publix honored the OS Q for Light Cranberry Juice.

    • kelli

my ad has 1 gallon of milk free wyb 4 participating items, not 2 gallons free.

    • countrygirl

Don't forget the Kroger digital ecoupons to combine with the paper coupons for laundry detergent. Digital coupons: All $1 off, Wisk $1 off and Surf $0.50 off. These were just added to Kroger website.

      • Thanks! I added those to the list!!

        • yolie718

Hi, can you please tell me how the kroger ecoupons work? Meaning, if were to try to buy say 2 All laundry detergent would the ecoupon work on both or can you only buy one then you have to reload the ecoupon? I hope that makes sense. Thanks!!

          • jhoran

No. The kroger e-coupon will only do it once and you cannot reload.

          • countrygirl

You can only use ecoupons once. Kroger has a limited number of ecoupons. Cellfire and Shortcuts seem to offer the same ecoupons more than once, so after you use one you would have to wait until it is offered again. HTH

        • triciaj

When I bought the Wisk the other day, the ecoupon didn't work. I asked at CS and the lady said it wouldn't work with a manufacture coupon. It would only allow one coupon. I said, “Oh, I though those were Kroger store coupons.” and she replied that they might be, but because it says somewhere in the fine print on the manu. coupon that it can't be combined with other offers, that means it can't be combined with a store coupon. She said, “We're trying to change the system because other wise it's, like, fraud.” Don't know if anyone else will run into this or if this is my store getting picky.

      • bunchofpants

Also, my last Kroger coupon mailer had a coupon for $1.50 off any laundry detergent purchase of $5.00 or more. I bought 1 All and 1 Wisk, and used the $1.50 off from the mailer plus the ecoupons and paper coupons.

There was also a 50 cents off cheese from the dairy (NOT deli) dept., so I used that with the sale on 16 oz. brick cheese to buy one @ $2.00.

BUT–my last mailer did not include the baby carrots coupon … is everyone's mailer different. or am I not getting a Kroger mailer, I wonder?

        • Kim

mine came in the packet of coupons they send that are supposedly linked to your most common purchases, not in the “My magazine” booklet.

      • My Kroger would not allow use of the paper coupon along with the e-coupon.

    • amandastrickland

Thanks country girl! I have a $2 off ALL coupon to add to that Ecoupon. Good savings!

    • Meme

I missed the last two weeks of newspaper inserts. I have seen mentioned a site where I can order or “purchase” the inserts from someone for a service fee. Could someone please post the link to this site?

      Thank you so much. Meme

      • Aly B

I have used mycouponhunters.com and have had great luck and service. HTH

        • rechols777

Couldn't get this website to come up…is there a typo by chance?

      • jj

      • Stephanie

This site also sells whole coupon inserts

      • Stephanie

The link did not post in my last comment, so here is the site. couponsthingsbydede . com

    • atlmichelle

Are coupons that print when you check out at Kroger manufacturer coupons or Kroger coupons? I had one for Activa yogurt and tried to stack it with a manufacturer's coupon from the paper and the Kroger computer system wouldn't take it. The clerk said they were both manufacturer's coupons and I could only use one. But the coupon had a kroger symbol on it?? So what is considered a “store coupon” that can be stacked with manufacturer's ones in the paper?

      • Rose

If it is a manufactures coupon it will say “manufacturer coupon” usually on the top left corner. The store coupons will say “store coupon” Even if it has the Kroger symbol it may still say manufacturer coupon. I made the same mistake. lol. The good news is they let you stack a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon. However store coupons don't double.

        • Rose

And usually the catalinas are manufacturer coupons. If you get the Kroger home mailer there are store coupons in that.

      • Jess

Jenny has a “couponing 101” post about deciphering barcodes. If it starts with a 5 or a 9 then it's a manu q…everything else is a store q.

    • Tiffany

I also have seen that there is supposed a catalina right now for certain kellogg's cereal… I think buy 2 get 1.00 and buy 4 get 3.00 I am going to try it today and see if it works. If I can get free milk, and a 3.00 catalina then it won't be a bad deal at all… I tried to use a internet printable for buy one gallon of milk get a half gallon of choc milk free and they said that they can't except a BOGO internet printable… what a load!

Just got back from Kroger… the 4/10 Kelloggs Cereal not a good deal in it's self but I found $1/2 blinkies while I was there which was better than the coupon I had in hand. I bought 2 boxes of the Apple Jacks and 2 Boxes of Foot Loops which qualified me for the free milk… then I received a CAT for 3.00 for buying 4 boxes of kelloggs Cereal that where 10 oz or larger. Apple Jacks, Foot Loops, Frosted Flakes are included and I think a few others I just can't remember the others. I am going to roll this one more time pay 5 bucks for 4 more boxes of cereal and milk and get another Cat. We go through milk and cereal like crazy in my house so not a bad deal for us. ( Still wish my store would let me use my choc milk coupon because that would make it that much sweeter!)

        • Kimberly

Do you know how long the Kellogg's catalina will be going on?

          • kelli

I did a search and from what I could find, it looks like it's good until 3/10. I wish that it was a better deal. I'd love to get some frosted flakes but I don't think I can justify it with all of the cereal that's in our pantry right now.

      • Heather N

The deal for Kellogg's and milk here in Atlanta(Decatur Area) is get 2 gallons of milk when you buy 4 Kellogg's products. Yes, you read that right 2 free gallons of milk when you buy 4 Kellogg's cereals for $10. However, there is NO Catalina coupon printing. Bummer…I thought I was going to get a spankin' deal, but not this time.

        So Scenario:
        4 – Kellogg's cereals, $2.50 each
        2 – 1 gallon milks, $2.28 each
        – $1/2 Kellogg's (2)
$1.50 per item (plus some of the boxes still have the “Save $5 on Breakfast” coupons inside).

Crispix is in the sale, so you can use the $1/2 Crispix that was in the SnackPicks flyer that was in the store around the Super Bowl.

        • Heather N

Looks like the catalina is only on the sugar cereals:
Participating products: (ALL are 10oz+, any flavor)
          Kellogg's Frosted Flakes
          Kellogg's Apple Jacks
          Kellogg's Froot Loops
          Kellogg's Corn Pops
          Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies
          Kellogg's Honey Smacks

    • shawn

The Sarah Lee printables are all gone

    • georgiagirl

Does anyone know where to sign up for the Kroger home mailer? They use to offer a book in the store do they not do that anymore?

      • Kim

You should receive it if you use a Kroger plus card; however, I had to call the customer service # on the back of the plus card and ask for it several times before I started getting one regularly. They would tell me every time I called that I should be getting one, and then finally I did. It's called “My Magazine.” Funny, a lot of times the person I spoke to didn't even know what I was talking about.

    • Kim

The Purex catalina deal at Krogers has been pulled due to coupon fraud. I went this morning to roll several transactions using the $4 ONYO wyb 2 Purex – only to get no catalina. Fortunately, I was able to call a 800-number and they are being mailed to me. But they won't honor it if you try to do another transaction later. Thankfully I went ahead and did all six transactions BEFORE I called.

      • Tiffany

Does any one have the number to call about the Cats?

        • Stephanie

The easiest way is the email. Use this address: coupon @ catalinamarketing . com
Include the following in your email. I got my coupon about a week later.
          Send your mailing info
          Store name and address
          Date and time shopped
          Offer expecting to receive

Kroger in the Atlanta region has Right Guard deoderant for $1.00. There is a coupons.com for $2/2 on ANY Right Guard product. FREE!

      • roseluns

My Kroger on Freedom pkwy only had Arrid on the 10 for $10 deal. I was so bummed.

      Colgate Wisps $1
      – 50¢ off on ANY Colgate Wisp 4-ct (SS 2/7)
      = FREE!

      • Heather

It is the 2ct that is on sale, not the 4ct. Dang, I got excited! I was waiting to try these. Oh well.

      • Marina115

must be a regional thing because my store (woodstock, ga) didn't have them on sale.

      • Melody

the wisp at my Krogers were 2.39 ,even with doubling it would be 1.39. Southeast Texas. wish they had have been free I had 5 cp.

    • Hesperides

I got a cat. last week for $1 off Special K Bars. Woot!

    • Daisy25

Unfortunately, my Kroger here in Aiken puts a very strict limit on printables. They allow only two printable coupons per CUSTOMER! So I can't do the Milk scenario…

They won't let me divide the orders in order to do two printables per transaction either. So unless I have a lot of coupons from the papers, Kroger sales are usually a bust.

Anyone else run intot his at their store?

      • Jenny

My Kroger in Athens, GA won't take more than 2 printables either. Although every time I go they tell me a different coupon policy. So frustrating.

        • eerporter

Which Kroger do you go to in Athens? The one on Epps Bridge does not have a limit. Try that one!

        • Judi

Okay, Jenny, you bring up a very valid point. Where IS the Kroger coupon policy written? They(Hamilton Mill/Buford) never let me use a q if it is even 1 penny over. They also will not let you use a q for a discounted/clearance item. How handy they say it is policy when the customer can't find out what that is.

        • Michelle

I've never had a problem at the Kroger on Gaines School Road either. Which one are you using?

        • sandnsable

I use both Epps Bridge and East side and have never had any problems with printables unless they are over $1 off

      • River

The Kroger in Irmo on Lake Murray Blvd/St. Andrews will only do 2 printable coupons too.

      • Frances

Go to North Augusta or Augusta. I know it is a pain but usually the sales are worth it. I spent 30 minutes one day with the manager and customer service on the phone. They would not change their policy although the other area stores do not limit their coupons.

      • Leigh Anne

Today was the first time I have had this happen, although I have not going to Kroger for very long. I had 8 coupons for Fiber One bars (7 printables) and they told me that they would only take 2 pritables PER SAME ITEM per customer. They said this was a new policy as of last week. I had a few other things but was so mad that I couldn't think, I asked for my coupons back and left!

    • augustagirl

Be careful with the Right Guard. The 10/$10 is only for the small 1.8 oz size and it is not a standard size that Kroger sales. I went to 2 different Krogers in Augusta and none had them. They said they had ordered the smaller ones but Right Guard wouldn't ship them. They'll give a rain check though so you can get the sale price when they come in.

      • laura

In Marietta I went through the same ordeal, however when the manager came he showed me the ad and it said 1.8 AND 2.8 right guard sport. it wasnt scanning on his scan gun thing so he just told the cashier to override it. I got (8) 2.8 deodorants free after the coupon.

        • augustagirl

Yeah, the manager at 3 different stores in Augusta, GA all told me the same thing. They said if I wanted to get 1, they would let me have it for $1, but not anymore than that. And they were NOT nice about. I didn't even mention I had coupons to make them free. You got lucky!

    • SB

Does anyone have a copy of Kroger's coupon policy. I ran into the same problem that other have run into with the BOGO coupons. I wrote the company, but they have not responded, yet. I read somewhere that they won't accept FREE internet coupons with no purchase, but they would accept BOGO coupons because they have a purchase requirement. I just wanted to see if this was true. Thanks.

      • kelli

my Kroger accepts bogo coupons, not sure about others.

      • Judi

Ha! Good luck with that! I've just mailed Jenny with this exact question. Let's see if she can get us some clarification.

        • kelli

I've actually called corporate a few times to clarify the coupon policy and I've always been told that it's up the the store manager.

Kroger Home > Coupon Acceptance Policy
        Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy
Effective November 2007, all Kroger divisions accept industry-standard, secure print-at-home coupons. We recently partnered with Coupons Inc., the industry leader in print-at-home coupons, to offer print-at-home coupons on Kroger.com and all of our store banner websites. You may also find coupons on brand websites and legitimate coupon websites like Coupons.com. Help us make your shopping experience a pleasant one by keeping in mind these simple rules for using Print-At-Home coupons.

We can only accept print-at-home coupons if they scan properly at checkout. Legitimate printable coupons are delivered using special software designed to print a properly rendered barcode on the coupon and limit the number of coupons printed.

We will generally not accept “FREE product” (no purchase required) print-at-home coupons. It is currently an industry practice not to produce print-at-home manufacturer’s coupons for free product. Buy-one-get-one-free coupons and other values that have a purchase requirement are acceptable.

We will usually not accept coupons for more than about 75% of a product’s value. For example, a $2 off coupon will be acceptable for a product that normally sells for $5 or more, but a $2 off printable coupon for a product that sells for $2.25 is unlikely to be legitimate. If there are exceptions, we are usually provided advance notice by the manufacturer.

Coupons will be rejected if they appear distorted or blurry, altered in any way, or are obvious duplicates. You should always print the coupon yourself directly from the website or email that is offering it. Only then can you ensure you are printing a legitimate coupon. The coupon will never appear on your computer screen. A legitimate coupon is never sent as a graphic or PDF or sent in a Word document.

Print-at-home coupons should never be copied, sold, or traded. They should not be photocopied or scanned and distributed to others. They have unique serial numbers printed on them and follow an industry-standard format. Coupons are never sold and you should not pay for someone’s “time to clip” or other service fee.

For more information about using print-at-home coupons and to check coupons for validity please visit the Coupon Resource Center online at http://www.printcoupons.com.

Does anyone have a zip code for Green Giant Frozen Veg Boxes? I tried several and they didn't work.

      • rechols777

        try 30028

      • Melody

you can try 77566. I have several with this area code which is in Texas

      • Didn't work for me either. I did come across this: http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?bt=vg&tqnm=… Sorry I don't know how to post that as a link. = / Although it prints with a “Steamers” icon, print reads that it's good on ANY GG Frozen Veggies!

    • Barb

I am quite pleased by the cereal/milk deal. With my 2 q's for $1.50 off 2, I ended up paying $1.40 for each of five items. I have no problem paying $1.40 a box for name brand cereal and certainly no problem obtaining the best brand milk on the market (which was retail $4.29 gal) for $1.40.

I may do it again as I have more cereal coupons and it is cereal we prefer as well as the added bonus that the milk is not restricted to in-house brand. The milk I was able to get truly is superior. I have visited their plant and they have some of the best dairy I have ever tasted. The problem is that I usually can't justify the price as often as we drink milk. My kids will be pleased to see that jug in the fridge.

    • wendylaine

none of the printables for green giant vegtables have it anymore anyone had any luck

      • rechols777

        try 30028…hope it works! :)

Contact Kroger for their coupon policy at:
The more people that email them the more likely they will respond.

StarKist Tuna Pouch is 1.00 – free with q
Revlon short emery boards are I think .84 – free with 1q

The Wisk manufacturer coupon I have from RP is for $1off…..Jenny has $2 off…Am I overlooking something????

      • You aren't, different areas get different values. So half of the south got $1 off and the other half got $2 off.

        • ritareese

Some of us didn't get either one and I wanted that one. Huntsville Alabama area.

      • itismedia

        Not very often

Does anyone know if the Keebler fudge shoppe cheesecake middles are part of the free milk promo? I have the $1 off printables for those. Thanks!

    • Julie

Is there a specific zip for the Arm and Hammer litter $1/2? I'm not seeing it out of the 11 coupons there.

    • itismedia

Look throgh your Kroger cats. Awhile back (sorry can't remember when, it has to be within the last month) I got a 1.50 off when you spend 5.00 or more on any store brand ground beef. It goes great with the 1.59/lb. flavorseal 5lb packs that are on sale this week. 1.29/lb for ground beef! Woo Hoo!

      • melody

I have that one I think it showed up o endcaps during Mega deal weeks and the coupon was for l.50 off per pound with purchase of two rotels and a 1 or 2 pds. velveeta/ forgot about it until later but was using my qp for velveeta and rotel at the time and it slipped my mind.I guess it wouldnt be as good a deal now since no qp for other two items.

        • itismedia

Make sure that it is that one. The one that I have is a cat. and there is nothing to buy to get the deal. It is just 1.50 off 5 lbs of Kroger brand ground beef

    • christina

How do you get the “Thank You Mom” home mailer I keep seeing?

    • jessica

Anyone know if the Special K cereals are part of the cereal/milk deal?

      • SavLucEvMommy

No they are not- at least, at my Kroger they were not. :)

    • Stephanie G.

Is the free milk kroger milk or any milk? If it is any milk is there a $ limit?

      • maryc4

I was allowed to get 2 gallons of Kroger milk or 1 gallon of Mayfield. I live in Atlanta.

      • Marie

I just did the Kelloggs buy 4 and get (2) two gallons of milk free, which was MAYFIELD milk and not Kroger milk. The sign has a picture of Kroget milk, but the advertisement states ANY (2) gallons free (excluding chocolate and 1/2 gallons).

        • Marie

Sorry, forgot to mention, I live in NW Atlanta.

    • Terri

Did you happen to see which Kellogg's cereal was part of the deal?

    • Kim

      Where can I get the 1.50/2 off Kellogg's cereal. I can only find a q for 1.00/3?

    • ToddDu

Fiber One bars Catalina from 2/22-3/21
      Buy 3 = $1.50
      4 = $2.50
      5 = $3.50

Printables ($0.40 off) can be found by searching Fiber One (recent Harris Teeter ad has links).

    • Michelle

I can’t find the $1.50/2 Kellogg’s cereal coupon on coupons.com. Does anyone have a zip code for that, or is it gone? I got the one on redplum, but that one doesn’t work with the catalina deal.

      • christina

there is one at kelloggs.com along with the one on the coupons.com

    • Eve

My Kroger is now not allowing coupons on closeouts. Anyone else run into this problem? I really don't see the difference in doing that and pairing a coupon with an item of sale?

      • Kim

that is so strange! I've never heard of that before. I've used coupons with c/o items.

      • elidaaa

I know at my Kroger I can use coupons on closeout items. What I am NOT allowed to use coupons on are the items that have the yellow sticker on them with a lower price. The sticker usually says 'Managers Special' on it. Those scan the sticker's UPC and not the items UPC. Closeout items that are still on the shelf still scan normally, and I have never had a problem using coupons with those items. : )

    • Mrssmith

There's also a coupon for the Annie Chun's in the winter Mambo Sprouts coupon booklet .50/1

    • ajkraft

FYI: the Softsoap that's on sale 10/$10 is 7.5oz, the coupons from SS 1/31 are for 8.5oz size

      • wende

I posted that on this site 2 weeks ago when she first listed it, but no one has noted it beside the coupon or removed that listing. I am wondering if different areas do not have the 8.5oz on the coupon but ours does. It will work, but it's fraud to do it knowingly.

    • Can anyone tell me what participating items are included in the milk deal? My flyer has Frosted Flakes but does it include any/all Kellog's cereal? Thanks for your help!

      • betsey

I know that the frosted mini wheats are included, but not sure what else. You can use the $1.50/2 printable and it makes it a great deal!

      • narrowgate

It's only select Kellogg's cereal. I bought Raisin Bran. Sorry can't remember the rest.

    • jenniferinsenoia

What's with the Chapstick deal? I didn't think we could use the Publix GAF flyers at Kroger. Is this a typo or am I wrong? thanks.

    • Janie

After having a horrible experience at Carrollton Publix last week, decided to go to Kroger today. On the 10 for $10.00 items you can only use (3) coupons. This is posted
at the front of the store entrance. It seems to be getting harder and harder to buy multiples and use coupons on each item. For those of you that are not having problems
at your stores, Consider yourself forunate. My other options are Ingles and Food Lion.

      • Jenny

At my Kroger, you don't have to buy all 10 items to get the sale price. So you could do a few transactions to use all your coupons. Check with you store.

        • Janie

What I am trying to say is there is a limit of (3) coupons that are the same. I hope I am saying this right. In other words, if I wanted (4) cans of tomatoes, I could only use (3) coupons. I personally think it sucks wet tea bags.

    • Betsey

      Random bread deal:
Healthy Life bread was marked down to $1.75 from the usual $2.75 and after I got home I realized that there is a .35/1 coupon in the 2/7 SS. Could have got my flaxseed bread for $1.40! This was in Roswell, GA

    • SavLucEvMommy

Suave Naturals deoderant is also on sale for $1- I found a bunch in the same bin as the $1 Right Guard. I ALSO found that the Suave Naturals lavender-scented deoderant is closeout priced at 77 cents… there was a 50-cent coupon in the 1/31 RP that makes Suave deoderant free-to-a-23-cent moneymaker. :) (and yes, they applied the overage for mine!)

    • Melody

Just got home from Krogers 2/23 and had 2 BOYO for Purex that I used . Although I didnt have 10 items and knew they would be 2.50 vs 2.19, but all 4 cost me right at 1.70 (less than .50 cents each. I will say the cashier had filled in 3.99 in the blank part of both coupons. Anywy I was thinking the 4 should have been around 5.00 .. But now I wish I had bought more papers…Wow I loved the deal though …

    • waymire

i see a kroger mailer mentioned both in the list and comments. is this something you signed up for? or just it just come in the mail? i would love to get one but it may be a regional thing, since im in la.
