Here are all the deals in the Kroger Weekly Ad starting 4/3. It’s a pretty normal ad. There is a tiny “mega event” type deal that probably has a lot of other participating products but we’ll have to wait and see.

Tune back in Sunday night for the list of unadvertised and closeout deals.

Can the Kroger e-coupons for the ConAgra items be used with paper coupons $offX since they are get something free when you buy X? I know they have a new policy of not using an e-coupon and a paper Q for the same item, but aren't those Q's are for free items not money off the ones you buy. Right?

      • Bee

Yes, I want to know the answer to this as well, especially on the Banquet Chicken get a free ketchup. Surely we can use a paper coupon on the chicken?

      • Technically you should be able to use coupons on the items you are still buying. We'll see what happens though…

      • Kati

No. I tried this at Kroger a few weeks ago with the Free Biore cleanser wyb pore strips coupon. Tried to use a $1 off any Biore product coupon on the pore strips that I was paying full price for and I was told (rather rudely) that I can't do that.

It makes no sense but then again it seems like Kroger has been making it a point lately to tick off anyone that wants to use a coupon.

I've never been a Publix shopper (been a Kroger shopper for 15+ years) but that's about to change. Publix has impressed me so much the few times I've made the trip recently.

    • Michelle

Wow. I didn't see a single acorn on the entire list!

      • Bee

For me, the Hunt's ketchup would be one, since after coupon it's .30 for 24 ounces.

        • That's what I thought, then wondered if I'm missing something…

          • AEE

or if its worth going to kroger for a bottle of ketchup. 2 kids in and out of the carseats… Im thinking NO.

            • AshATL

The ketchup was on sale at Publix BOGO, and it comes out cheaper than $1 before coupon. The only problem is that the peelie was nowhere to be seen.

This ad is pretty boring, but the cabinets and freezer are full, so it won't hurt to take a week off….

      • shops2much

        what is an acorn?

        • Laura

She puts a little acorn symbol next to listed items that have a GREAT sale price to remind us to stock up on that item.

    • Jill Ramsey78

I keep seeing the e-coupons listed for several “get this WYB this”…but where on the Kroger site are those located? When I just look under the coupons, I do not see them.

      • They will be available in the morning. The are mentioned in the ad so we know they are coming, just try again later and hopefully they will be there :)

    • Lisa

I can't get too excited about their sales right now! They have become so unfriendly to coupon users that I don't want to go in their store!

    • Rachell

I moved from Florida to Michigan several months ago,and have been struggling to coupon up here. Not only did I lose publix but I lost my Super Targets:( My only choices are Meijer and Krogers, neither is coupon friendly it's really sad up here. Everything is more expensive in both places. I go to the regular Target and get what I can,and of course I hit CVS,Walgreens and Riteaid. Nothing and I mean nothing compares to Publix. I say we can't let Krogers go all digital,it's a bad sign.

      • KY_saver

Make sure you sign up for mPerks with Meijer on their website. You can load digital coupons linked with a phone number and then just enter the phone number when you check out. The coupons are not as good as Kroger but there are $$$ off your total purchase from time to time. I'm in KY and the Meijer here lets me stack digital and paper coupons. Meijer also offers meal ox coupons on their website.

        • I prefer Meijer for coupon deals, which are usually decent, especially if you use store coupons in combination. Aldi is also a great resource if you have one nearby. Kroger's pricing in MI has been getting worse week by week…

      • Jennifer

        there's Aldi's too!

      • Mlaurie406

Meijer's isn't too bad (it's no Publix, but ykwim). You can print their Meijer meal box coupons and combine them with the manf. coupons for some pretty good deals!

        • Rachell

Yes but it's hard to get a deal when it's 1.00 off when you buy 10. And right now there's only 8 coupons available. Meijer's also reduces my coupon's everytime I go. It's almost the same thing Target had problem with awhile ago. But meijer says the computer is right. I think I want to go back to Florida my grocery bill has doubled since I've been here and am working harder for the deals.

      • Stephanie

I'm with you! I just recently moved to OH from FL and am sorely missing Publix!! I am STRUGGLING to find good deals up here, and my budget seems to be going back up while my stockpile is going down. It stinks.

      • Lori

I've had the same problem moving to KY. I don't think I will ever recover from losing my Super Target & Publix.

    • Jnn_horan

The 16 double ct charmin used to be about 6.00 on a mega sale..the 9 mega ct is 8.98!!!!! What's wrong with this picture????

      • Jenifer1999

I'm pretty sure the mega rolls are bigger than the double rolls…. still expensive, but perhaps some of the higher price is because you're getting a bit more?

        • Khjbcoupons

has anyone ever figured out what a good price is for toilet paper and paper towels. by the foot, by the yard etc.. this business of mega rolls and double rolls is a bunch of crap.

          • Chelle

            You made a funny! :)

            • Khjbcoupons

lol.. that was not intentional… which makes it even funnier..

      • Bee

I believe that was a actually a 12 roll (equal to 24 regular). I always buy the mega event paper products and have never gotten a 16 roll for that price.

Each package tells how many feet are included.

    • Jnn_horan

Forgot to mention that I received a letter today from Kroger telling me about the new policy to stop doubling and tripling coupons … they gave me 3 coupons, 2 for 5.00 off a 50.00 purchase before coupons and discounts and 1 for 100 gas points. Hmm, I wonder why??

      • AshATL

I'm surprised they weren't a bunch of 50 cent off coupons!!!

      • Bvs4600

I got the same letter how disapointing… Why could it be that they are placing this new policy?

    • Shortchikk

FYI I'm not sure the best place to post this, so I will just add it right here. This is a copy of an e-mail I just received from Kroger.

      Dear Lisa ,

Kroger wants you to know that the data base with our customers' names and email addresses has been breached by someone outside of the company. This data base contains the names and email addresses of customers who voluntarily provided their names and email addresses to Kroger. We want to assure you that the only information that was obtained was your name and email address. As a result, it is possible you may receive some spam email messages. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Kroger wants to remind you not to open emails from senders you do not know. Also, Kroger would never ask you to email personal information such as credit card numbers or social security numbers. If you receive such a request, it did not come from Kroger and should be deleted.

I received the same message, as well as one from New York & Co. Some hacker has been busy.

If anyone hasn't already done so, I recommend creating a “junk” email address for all subscriptions and couponing. Hopefully that will keep the effect of these breaches to a minimum…..

        • Jbuttimer

Excellent idea. I have an email account through my provider and most come with the myname@provider.com email address plus 4 more that you can make. I have one that I only use to register for things and order things.

BTW, I have TiVo and I received the same email from them. Kroger & Tivo's are legit.

Please remember, anytime you get an email like this, ALWAYS assume it's a spam or someone trying to break into your account. NEVER click on a link in an email. In the case of the Kroger & TiVo emails, I didn't click on the link, I just went to the website & the message was there.

      • ponygirl19

I got this same email from both Kroger and HSN. I wonder what is going on… I see someone else got it from another company.

        • TJ

I got that same email from my credit card companies as well.

    • Jbuttimer

Just wanted to remind everyone that Kroger has a free iPhone app that shows all of the available coupons & your selected coupons. It also lets you select coupons to put on your card and remove ones that are on. Handy now if you have a better paper coupon you can take off the ecoupon. Coupons.com and Cellfire.com has apps as well. If you have your iPhone 4 on your network you can print the printable coupons directly from your phone. No help in the store, but handy at home. :)

      • Qponing

which app do you use to print from your iphone?

      • Aklholl

Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Just looked @ my GA circular online….there's a ton of 'deals' with e-coupons. I hope that this is not the same way Kroger is going with Houston! If they do that here is GA, they'd have a customer revolt and everybody would go to Publix, or atleast I know I would!!!

    • Karichie3

The Rotel/ground beef eCoupon did not work when I went to Kroger this morning. The customer service folks tried to help me but did not even see it on my card. I DID wait 2+ hours after adding the coupon. This is very frustrating.

    • Redamyer1

kennesaw ga jiles and baker rd. store does not let me do e-coupons and store coupons together on same item. does anyone know of one close to me that does??? thanks

      • Ctcjsbag5

Read Jenny's Coupon policy changes for Kroger. They no longer accept ecoupons with paper coupons!

    • Prsol

I was wondering if this Marie Callender's deal would work:

Buy 6 Al Dente frozen dinner at $2.20ea
Use (3) $1.00off / 2 frozen meals (BTW I used code: 63829897 to access coupons)
AND (1) eCoupon Buy 5 Get 1 Free

      Total price: $1.33 each

With Kroger enforcing their crazy policy of not combining eCoupons with paper ones, my concern is that they will not accept my printed coupons once the B5G1 eCoupon kicks in. (Actually, I am thinking I should let them apply Q's BEFORE they scan my Kroger card)

If worse comes to worse, what about if I use only 2 printed coupons and claim that I am applying them toward the first 4 items? Technically I could use my eCoupon on the last 2 items without stacking them with a paper one. It would raise the cost to $1.50ea but it's better than not being able to use printed coupons at all… :-(

      • sarahcas

I think you would only be able to use two of the paper coupons because one of the frozen meals on the third coupon would be a free one.

      • me

use the self checkout i always fo

      • Kristi

I tried a similar scenario yesterday. As long as you're not trying to use paper q's on the items made free with the eq's, you won't have any problems! Scan your plus card first to make sure you get credited for the eq's and then hand over your paper q's.

    • Nathanielnholly2

Is there a limit on the baby product deal can i buy 4 formulas and get 15.00 off?

    • Brenda

I went to kroger today and my cashier was one of leads covering a break. He looked over my duplicate internet printable pretty thorougly and then thanked me for not using copies. He said it was getting to be a big problem in their store and they all now have to check. Thinks it could potentially change their coupon policies! BOO Coupon fraud people!!

    • Brubakers

      Will Kroger accept Publix coupons?

      • Jimandrachael10

no, nor any other store coupons. :(

      • Musicmom26

No, I don't think so. Kroger doesn't except competitor coupons.

    • Khjbcoupons

another cigarette ad appeared in krogers sunday insert today. i asked a unit manager at my store why they were advertising cigs again. He said that the laws had been loosen on advertising cigs and liquor. he was surprised that the ad was on the front page. can someone help me to find out if this is true or not. khjbcoupons@gmail.com

      • Amanda

I noticed that too–even pointed it out to my husband. SMH.

    • Julie

The Naked Juice coupon from Recycle Bank is only 30 points today. Woohoo!!

    • adrienne

i haven't gone to kroger in weeks. since they changed their policies….why would i?

      • Musicmom26

what policies have they changed? I haven't heard about that.

        • adrienne

they stopped accepting ecoupons and paper coupons together. also the ecoupons automatically come off so if u have a .50 paper q that was supposed to double and also an ecoupon for the same item it would take off the ecoupon and deny the paper one. and if every kroger starts to no longer double paper q's that would be more than enough reason for me to only go in there if i had too. on a brighter note….. ILOVEPUBLIX!!! :)

    • Megster77

The similac Q must be regional. I was looking forward to that and didn't get it. Bummer!

      • Halie

You can buy those coupons on ebay fairly cheap!

    • Baby Shark

On Saturday, my Kroger customer service desk explained that the store no longer accepts any printed or internet coupons over $1.00. So, I thought I would warn others to watch out for this, when my cashier scanned coupons & they didn't work, he just kept going, placing them in the pile as if they had worked. When I asked about them, he checked what I bought & said he didn't know why they didn't work and suggested I go to customer service.

How do I need to do to get the Kroger home mailer?

      • mjw3i

I just registered my Kroger Plus card online, and updated my address. I got my first home mailer about two weeks later! HTH

    • mjw3i

So I read the post Jenny made about Krogers new policy, but I am still a little confused. I keep hearing different things on the news, and internet. I was hoping someone could clarify….
Will Kroger still double coupons 50 cents or below?

      • JC

It's my understanding that the coupon changes affect the ecoupons (that are on your Kroger plus card). The only change to doubling of coupons (that I've heard) is that they will no longer double coupons in some Texas stores.

        • lina

yes they will stop doible from apr13 in texas, but i spoke with manager here in texas and he whisppered that this new policy will go nation wide, so just be prepared ppl. I am still not happy with Kroger

          • Kyl112

How disapponting…..oh well Publix and Ingles should do very well in my area. I wonder how long it will take Kroger to realize their mistake.

            • Bee

When they get their first quarterly report that shows their profits are down.

They are being very stupid. They receive about 50% profit from food and 50% from their fuel sales–which is why we now see a pump at many grocery store chains. However, people use their fuel points where they shop. If people buy fewer groceries at Kroger, they will be buying less fuel as well. Double whammy for Kroger.

In my opinion, they are being very greedy. Their last quarter profits were quite healthy and beat expectations.

    • Paulnbecky

can't find the scrubbing bubbles e coupon

    • KellieTX

You really have WAY too much time on your hands….. If you do not like what they sell and advertise, please shop somewhere else!

    • Bonnemae

Why is if that a lot of the coupons are not in my coupon inserts!!!! For example, the mandarin oranges…says there is a $1.50 coupon in SS 4/03. Nope, there's not! This happens all the time! Why?!?!?!?!?!

      • Missy

I think the coupons are different in certain areas..so it could be that the coupon was in another insert in a different area…I have had the same issue myself.

      • EB

Coupon availability and value vary greatly by area. In my town, I can get a local paper, one from the state capital, and the Washington Post. All 3 of these can have vastly different coupons and even coupon values for the same items on the same Sunday. I have discovered that if my paper has a coupon for something I buy frequently, it is a good idea to check out some of the coupon clipping sites that week to see if some of them are carrying higher value coupons than the one I got in my paper. Same thing goes if you look through Jenny's preview and it shows a coupon you would love to have, but did not get. – But is is only cost effective to purchase coupons if you are pretty sure you will use them.

    • couponstrategy

No coupons on the ketchup at my store :( I luckily had some from a banquet meal box a couple months ago so that made for some cheap ketchup yay!

    • recentlytransplanted

I just moved from Georgia to Michigan. Does anyone know if there are any coupon sites like this for Northern stores?

      • brenda

I'm from Ohio and use this site for Kroger. It varies a bit but not much. it would depend on the stores you have it Michigan. Different regions have different stores. Where to you now shop?

        • recently transplanted

Thank you Brenda. I was hoping to find a site for Meijers, VG's ( I've never heard of this chain ). I will use SS for Kroger and Target etc. and see how they work :)
          Thanx again for the response.

My Kroger (Smyrna) had a buggy with various “manager markdowns” in it. I found two boxes of 18 count Playtex Sport Tampons that were marked down to $1.29 each. I used my Q for $2.50 off any 2 PST and made the total $0.08+tax. I left with a smile.

    • Very disappointed in my Kroger (St Andrews Rd, Columbia, SC) tonight. I tried to do the KoolAid deal and get free koolaid and they would not double my 50 cent coupons. The girl that was “in charge” (NOT the manager) said that because the coupon said “save 50 cents” and not “50 cents off” that's the reason they didn't double. What???? I pointed to the sign right by the register that said “manufacturer coupons 50 cents or below will automatically double.” Do you know that instead of just giving me my dollar, she tried to argue with me about it, so I just made her dig through the big bag of coupons and give me all my coupons back and I just returned my koolaid. Probably, I shouldn't have spent 30 minutes arguing over a dollar, but I think that they should have just given me the dollar instead of arguing with me about it.

      • mspence

Feel your pain. Kroger in Irmo would not take $1.50 and B1G1 Free coupons on Air Wick refills. My husband went in with both coupons and the cash register would not accept the $1.50 and only took the B1G1 Free. He said she tried to get it to accept it but it would not take it. He did not ask for assistance. I was going to returned them. I was suppose to get them for 99 cents instead I paid double that.

A little sad that when I would click on the coupons they were not available for my store :(
