Kroger this week, 4/19-4/25, is having a big 10 for $10 sale. This is all an advertising gimmick, you do not have to buy 10 of anything!! There are some good deals with this sale but remember that not everything is really a sale price.  Sorry for this being late we finally got home at 8pm from traveling all week.

If you see anything I missed let me know and I’ll add it to the list.

Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta is still on sale for $1.59/box; use the $1.00 coupon, makes it 0.59. My Kroger also still has the Greent Giant, Quaker snacks, & Scott towels on sale. I wonder which areas did get the Angel Soft coupon; it wasn’t Knoxville. :-(

    • Shon

I will be traveling through TN later this week (from FL) and wanted to stop at the Franklin Rd store for free TP (YAY!!). Is there a limit on how many items you may purchase? Also does anyone know whether that store accepts IP and competitor’s Q? Thanks for all the help.

    • Angela W

Wow! I just had a sweet trip to Kroger!I spent $21, $33 savings. Couldn’t find the angelsoft or pillsbury brownie mix q’s, but got the Carolina Pride, tyson chicken, Capri sun, goldfish, free suave deoderant, free green giant vegs, and silk soy milk. The reason I had to stop on the way home was the soy milk for my son’s bfast.oh, and I am learning that the Q doesn’t have to be for the exact item, if the bar code matches up. I got 2 French’s brown spicy mustard, on sale for $1.79 each, with a $1 off next order coupon. Used my 50 cents off FreNch’s (yellow) mustard Q’s, they doubled, making them 79 cents each. AND- as soon as I scanned the second mustard, the $1 off register q came out and I used it on the order! Also, I used a pepperidge farms $1 off wheat crackers q on the goldfish. The 6 digit barcode # matched, so I tried it, like the French’s mustard Q.
Anyone else notice that about the barcodes? Or, is this old news and I’m just now catching on?
I’ve had great shopping success already today, and I haven’t even been to publix (my fave!) Yet!

    • Rebecca

I tried using that coupon for Huggies wipes, but it would not work for me at Kroger. Has anyone else gotten it to work? Their computer would not accept it when I tried to use it last week.

    • paige

I heave been waiting for you to put the kroger deals up I dont think anybody puts thiers out till you do! I have been watching ebay like crazy for that angle soft coupon With no luck I wll buy any If some ones got extra. just comment.

    • meg

      re: huggies

I have used the 50 cent off coupon even though it says it is only good on 64+ count packages. I printed out 4 between our two computers and used them successfully on 2 different visits at my local store!

    • Angela

I have some Angel Soft coupons, but haven’t been able to print the Pace Salsa coupons – anyone interested in a trade?

      :))

    • Allison

Angela, where are the Pace coupons you want? I could print some for you. I am on my last pack of Cottonelle and in need of some Angel Soft!

    • shopped for deals at Kroger today for 1st time ( i have always thought that they were more expensive than Publix…) 6 or my 8 10 for 10 items were already wiped out! i went to customer service to ask if they could write rainchecks for the items and TRACY was very apologetic for the inconvienence and literally took me up and down the aisles and substitued product for me for what was missing and used all of my coupons for the other items that were on sale. i was pleasantly surprised at how over helpful she was. I had told her that this was my first time truly shopping for a lot of groceries at one time at Kroger (maybe she wanted my first impression to be better than it had started off!)
Long story to say, customer service is there to please you and if they are out of any of the items, they can substitute or give rainchecks to you. I spent $80 and saved around $88.

    • Shannon

Is anyone else having trouble using Cellfire coupons at Kroger? I had some on my card that I tried to use tonight and they did not work. This was the first time I had used Cellfire so I am not sure if I did something wrong or not. Any ideas??

      • Jenny

        Shannon,
Contact them through their site and they will credit your account with coupons to cover what should have come off. They are very easy to work with if.

    • Rebecca I went yesterday to the Kroger in my area (two notch rd in Columbia) and my coupon worked.

Has anyone tried the $3.00 off coupon for the Kroger diapers???

    • Jenny

how do you get the home mailer have never gotten one?

      • Jenny

To get Kroger Home mailers, go to http://www.kroger.com and register for a My Kroger account. Give them your correct address and link it to your Kroger shoppers card and the mailers should start to come in a few weeks.

    • Loving the Savings

    • Loving the Savings

Opps, I also got 2 – McCormick Grill Mate Spices!

    • Lori

Mesquite Texas got the angel soft coupon!

    • Does Kroger accept competitor’s coupons? I didn’t know that, I didn’t think they did.

      • Jenny

        Amanda,

Most Krogers do NOT accept competitor coupons. Some that are very close to big stores will accept that one other stores coupons but no other stores. You can ask the store manager but be ready for a general no, and be pleasantly surprised with a yes.

    • Other deals at my local Kroger:

      Simply Juice Singles $1
      Planters trail mix $1
      corn 29 cents each ear

    • Tara

      Shon,
I live in TN and shop the Franklin Rd store some. Depending upon which cashier you get will depend if they limit you. I had one cashier tell me that they would not accept more than 5 coupons for the same product. They do not accept competitors q’s.
Good luck! Enjoy your time in TN!

    • Lori

I live in Nashville, TN and Kroger takes competitors coupons but not advertised specials from comp it has to be a coupon.

      Tara,
Go to a diff Kroger! The both Bellevue Krogers take competitors q’s!

    • Ronda

I had a coupon for $2/3 of Suave products and a .50 one and got deodorant free and 3 shampoo for .22 each. Also free Angel Soft. My cellfire coupon haven’t ever worked when I use another coupon. I’m in Cartersville, GA

    • Karlie

      Jenny,
Hello, I am fairly new to your site and love it:) I am from Mesa, AZ and have a Fry’s store near me that I shop at. Even though it’s “Kroger” I am guessing that the ads you list for Kroger are not for this area…is that right? My ads always go from Wed. to Wed. not Sun. to Sun. Is there a site you know of that would tell me deals for my Frys? Thanks so much!
      Karlie

    • Had a good trip at Kroger today. My Kroger (Cool Springs in the Franklin area) would not take the Huggies wipe coupon. However, they did take the $3 off comforts diaper and then instead of a CAT the system took off an additional $3 off when I purchases $15 in comforts products. Cheap diapers!

    • Folole

I just got back from Krogers. I used the $3 comfort coupon but could only use 1. I was going to buy 2 packs of diapers and then throw in some wipes. The cashier said that it would only allow 1 coupon per transaction. The coupon says Limit One per customer with coupon. Also the huggies bath and body beeped but my cashier did an over ride. Actually, the first one scanned that I printed online, but my manf. q’s were the ones that beeped that we got in this weeks inserts.

      HTH Folole

    • I just want to say thank you so much for this web site and all the info you have posted. It has been very helpful to a newbie coupon clipper. Thanks!!! This is definitely my new favorite deal site.

    • Kim

I couldn’t use the Huggies Q’s for wipes, it beeped and she said they were only for bath products. I also didn’t notice that she only gave me one of my q’s back until later.

I was able to use two Q’s on the Comforts. I thought for sure they weren’t going to accept both, but she double checked with the manager and was able to put it through. I got two diapers, one powder, and a small pack of cotton swabs. 16.57 before q’s and 7.57 after.

I had a great deal day between Kroger and Kmart double q’s! I wore out my 20 month old. We came home and he slept for four hours. LOL!

    • A couple of those 10 for 10’s are really great. Thanks for the list as always.

    • Karyn

Just sat down to make first shopping list from you deals. I’ve been saving inserts since Jan. 09, marking them w/date of paper.

Kroger deals–you said LaWry’s Marinade -.50/1 RP 4/5 NOT IN MY INSERT
Quaker Rice cakes -$1 any Quaker Rice RP 3/29 NOT IN MY INSERT

Already defeated!! What’s up with this…each item I’m looking for is not in either RP or SS from the date you give?

      • Jenny

        Karyn,
Inserts vary by region so each area gets some different coupons entirely and then for some coupons we get different values. For the coupons that you do not have it gives you an idea of what you paper and area is not getting so you might want to try to get a larger metro area’s paper if possible or if there are coupons that you really want then purchase those from an online place.

    • Kerri

I just got back from Kroger… I will not go back. I normally go to Publix but decided there were a few good deals I could not miss out on. So many of my coupons the girl gave back to me because “the machiene was picky” although I got the things. The Huggies wipes, green giant boxed veggies, Parkay butter just to name a few that she gave back. I had a very tired 2 yr old so when I told her to take off the items(that were already bagged in in my buggy)she was not very helpful. I only took off 1 item before we both got frustrated. I know I got the right products for the coupons so I am going back when it is not past my daughters bedtime to talk to the manager about taking those items off.

    • Kerri

Oh, also the Barilla Pasta was NOT on sale at my Kroger.

    • I hate when trips run amuck! I got 10 packs angel soft, 7 suave deo’s,3 comfort wipes 1.00each, 1 pack kroger brand pull-ups and a large ct box of size 3’s. My 3.00 did not come off the large box 3’s. It was over the 15.00 price so I am not sure why. I gotta head back and see why and get my 3.00..

Good note: I found some comfort peelies finally. I got some awhile back but haven’t found any since so I was happy!

    • Ashley

I can’t see the coupon for the Huggies wipes anymore. Can anyone else? I was going to get my mother in law to print me one since I have already printed one from my computer, but I can’t find the printable anymore to email her the link. I can see all of the other coupons on SmartSource but the Huggies wipes is missing. Does anyone know why? Also, how are some of you having multiple coupons? Are you just printing from different computers? Thanks!

    • Sylvie

      Jenny,

The Barilla Picollini (sp?) pasta is also on sale with the whole grain pasta and there was a $1 off coupon for it in the same 3/29 SS. I wasn’t sure if it would go through or not since it was an overage… but it did.

Thank you for all your hard work!!! I left Kroger today having spent $13 on $79 worth of groceries!!

    • April

I have experienced the Smartsource coupons allowing only two prints per coupon per computer. I had a friend print a couple for me so that I could get the extra savings.

    • Mina

Heather, about that Comforts $3 off deal – Kroger has regional divisions. We’re in the Southeastern division where I am. Headquarters are in Atlanta, and it covers all of the Southeastern states. The $3 off your order is not currently running in this region. I verified that by purchasing my own batch of items over $15. Then I wound up returning the second pack of diapers and some wipes, since you are only allowed to use one of the Kroger $3/1 pack of Comforts at a time. The Q makes a single pack $3.49, which isn’t a bad deal, but can only be used on one package per visit. So, it made more sense to buy the second pack separately, instead of paying $6.49 for it AND not getting the $3 off the total order.

The semi-good news is that even though each Kroger region has different deals, what runs in one often runs in other regions on a different cycle. So, watch your fliers and shelf tags. That deal may start here at a later date.

I don’t even have any young enough to wear diapers, except my grandkids, and they only use cloth. LOL I was just buying them as donations.

    • Diane

      Jenny,

Thank you for all of your hard work. I just left Kroger and spent $18.77 on $93 worth of groceries!!!!

    • For some reason my last response got lost or something???

the 3.00 off 15.00 worth of Kroger comforts diapers is in my region. It was in the ad! I got my money back from the AM yesterday. So I am not sure what you are talking about Mina.

I posted Kroger 3 day deals but alas I am not sure where that post went either

      Kroger Bacon-.99
      Kroger water-2.98

      Red Globe grapes .99lb

    • Mina

Hey, Heather, you’re right. I saw that Comforts offer on the inside of the ‘extra’ sheet wrapped over the ad. Mine didn’t come off either, even though my Comforts items totaled over $15. I’ve since returned all of the extra diapers and wipes, except for the one pack that I’ll keep here for emergency use if we run out of cloth diapers the next time the little one winds up being here longer than expected. It’s not worth my time to go back and try to straighten it out for things that I’d just be taking straight to the local emergency help bank, anyway. Much of the fun of finding good deals comes from being able to give more. Last week I was able to make 5 good sized “Pamper Yourself” bags for some moms of young children that I knew could really use some extra. They were filled with stuff for pampering the moms and some goodies for the kids. That’s not tax deductible, but it leaves me with the feeling that the effort of shopping is worth it.

    • Jennifer C.

My Kroger had the Ronzoni Smart Taste elbow macaroni on clearance for $1.25 so I ended up getting them for 25¢ a box.

    • Tabasco is $10/10 and there was a peelie on the eggland’s best XL eggs for $1 off tabasco. Also a blinkie for $1 off tabasco WYB any frozen pizza.

    • Mina

I just looked through for the ad for the new week and don’t see anything very exciting. They’re following the $10/10 sale with an 88 cent sale. It’s a sort of satisfying feeling to read the front page, which is mostly Kroger brand products, and realize that I don’t need any of it because I just stocked up on so many of those same items – only the stock is name brand and the price paid was less. It’s a good feeling to see that and know that even if I don’t go there, I won’t be missing out on much.

The one thing that did interest me is the Coke products $12/3 12 packs and two free bags of chips w/purchase of three packs. I just got some peelies for $1 off any multi-pack of cans. I’ll be able to use those to get 36 drinks and 2 packs of chips for the college bunch. They’ll go through those in just over 24 hours.

    • mina that is super nice of you to do for the moms! Kuddos for you to being so helpful and awesome!
