I can’t get the Goodlife dog food coupon to print. It says that there are no prints available for this campaign. Are any others having trouble with this?

    • Anne

You frequently mention Publix when listing Kroger deals. Does Kroger price match with Publix or accept their coupons?

      • Jenny

Kroger does not price match or accept competitor coupons. Tonight I listed one thing that was much cheaper at Publix only because it is another store listed here. The Publix coupons that are linked (the Kraft coupons really) are all really manufacturer coupons. Because Publix releases large amounts of coupon booklets and flyers you will see some listed that have come from there but they are all manufacturer coupons.

    • Heather M-H

I can’t seem to find the $5 on the Moodplus website. WHen I print the Q in the “Try Sam-E” section, it’s only for $3 off Sam-e complete. Am I missing it somewhere?

    • Dianne

There is a buy three get 1.00 off on Clif Bars in the “Go Organic” coupon booklet. It works on the Clif Quench sports drinks that are on sale for 1.00 each. These drinks are a healthier option than Gatorade, if that is something that matters to you.

    • Dony

The Purex coupon is saying i have already printed it even though i have never printed it. Is it working for anybody???

    • Kim

There is a coupon for $1.00 off and 3 Luna or Cliff Bars in the Go Organic coupon book from Publix.

    • Kim

Yep! Same thing happened to me. Campaign over. Maybe there is another Q out there somewhere……..

    • Michelle

      Okay. Thank you, Kim!

    • Heidi

The Kroger at Hickory Flat in Canton,GA is now accepting ALL competitors coupons including Publix coupons. I called the Kroger headquarters and asked if this was something that all Kroger’s were going to do, and they told me that it was up to each individual manager at each store. Hopefully more will do this as well!!
Just thought you would like to know!

    • Sharon

I went yesterday, and it seems that you have to buy in multiples of 10 to get the $3 off 10 deal. I bought 13 items and thought I’d get 3.90 off, but I only got 3.00. Still good deals. I had coupons for everything, and got 3 free bottles of Kraft BBQ sauce : )

    • Pat in Richmond

What has happened with Kroger’s BRINGING HOPE TO THE TABLE e-coupons? I haven’t been able to access them and can’t find a link on Kroger’s site, either.

    • Tanya

Kroger in Cumming, GA allows unlimited rewards. Catalina for 4 fruit snax also worked. Bought the Gushers and Stackers.

    • Tenessa

The renoylds foil is part of the Deal. It’s a great price with that $1 off coupon. It’s 2.29 -.30from deal -1.00 Q = .99 I bought some yesterday.

    • Julie

The foil looks like a good one; I’ll probably go back for that, more Gatorade, and the salmon. I got 3 free bottles of BBQ sauce last week too.

    • gretchen

Did anyone see the Tyson fresh chicken coupon somewhere in the Sunday AJC? Thanks!

    • Kim

Just wondering is the cheese (at 1.03 for 8 oz) considered a “stock up price”? Thanks! Kim

      • Jenny

Cheese for 8 oz, the main stock up price is really anything under $1.50 so $1.03 is great!

    • Jen

Has anyone check the Banana Boat or Hawaiian Tropic prices? It seems like BOGO with the coupons would be a great price.

    • The tyson coupon is in to smartsource

    • Pat in Richmond

IGNORE my previous question about BRINGING HOPE TO THE TABLE
e-coupons….it (finally) dawned on me they expired the 27th….duh!

    • Jenny W

I tried the fruit snacks deal at St Andrews Rd – Columbia, SC. I bought the BC Transformers snacks and it didn’t print a catalina or anything. Was this deal advertised or was it a YMMV?

    • Hailey

I wanted to let you know that I returned from Kroger (Irmo, SC) and huggies did not ring up as part of the buy 10 get $3 off. I asked at customer service and they told me huggies was not part of the deal. The betty crocker fruit snacks also did not print a catalina. Bummed out at Kroger!

    • Clay

Most of the sunscreen I saw was 8.99 or 9.99. 2.49 or 2.99 after discount and coupons. Perfect timing since we are heading to the beach Tuesday.

    • Jen

      Thanks Clay! Enjoy the beach!

    • Alicia

Had an AWESOME day at Kroger!! Got the $3.50 OYNO catalina from the BC fruit snacks and a catalina for $1.50 off 3 cereals (General Mills I think). My pre-coupon/sales total was $109. After sales, coupons and e-coupons, the total was $42!! I did 3 of the Daytona deals, so I bought 30 items and got $9 off. I bought other stuff too, but I did plan ahead to make sure I did the Daytona deals in quantities of 10. GREAT sale week!!

    • Kim

I have a question regarding Kroger’s B1G1F sales items: Does they ring up half price like at Publix or are they true “frees”? I ask because I’d like to work a deal with either the Banana Boat or Hawaiian Tropic. Even if it is a true free, can I still use a coupon on each?

    • Kim

Bad grammar – that’s what I get for typing and talking on the phone at the same time. =)

    • Melissa C.

I went to 2 different Krogers in the same county (Paulding, GA) today.

At the first one, I got my $2.50 catalina, along with some other coupons, for buying 4 boxes fruit snacks. I used it to buy four more, and no catalina, and no other coupons printed.
First the CS person didn’t know about the deal, then said it meant I would get the catalina on my NEXT order, then it was because I had used the catalina from the first order on the 2nd order. Too bad for me.

So I left there and went to another Kroger across town. I asked before I shopped if the CS person knew about the BC Catalina deal, and she did, and I asked if I used the Catalina from one transaction to pay for another, would it not print out another catalina? She said it should, but if it didn’t, to have the cashier to call her and she’d do something to make sure I got my $2.50. Nice!

At any rate, I bought 4 fruit snacks and 6 popcorns, and got the $2.50 catalina. Then I went back and bought the same things again, paying with the Catalina from the first transaction, and received my next $2.50 catalina without any problem.

This evening I went to another Kroger in another county and bought more fruit snacks, paid with the $2.50 Catalina I had, and still got another Catalina.

So they are rollable – like I thought – and I’m off to write my complaint letter about the unknowledgeable and unhelpful folks at the first Kroger.

    • Melissa C.

PS, I didn’t check at the first two Krogers, but at the last one I was in I saw they have single-pack Koolaid on sale for 10/$1.00. And Kroger sugar 4lb. is $1.99 this week. (the 4lb Dominoes sugar is $2.09)

With the $2.00 off Sugar wyb 10 packs Koolaid q from the SS 6/21 you could get sugar and 10 packs of koolaid for .99 cents.

Also, the Dentastix dog chews are $3.59. I used the $2.50 shortcuts coupon with a $1.50 q from the RP 5/31 to get them free with .41 overage.

    • Beth

This list says it is for the Southeast region. Does that include Nashville? My kroger ad is very different from this list; no chicken on sale, no aquafresh, cheese is 2/3 and other differences. I don’t want to plan out all these deals and get to the store and have a big surprise!

    • Stacey

Nashville’s sales ad comes from the Louisville, KY region, I think. I get the ad e-mailed to me each Sunday morning, and it is always different than what is posted here. Sometimes, the difference is cents, but still a difference.

I had a great trip to Kroger tonight! I found $0.69 Dole salad mixes on a manager’s special and bought the remaining bags on the shelf!

    • Kelli in TN

Does anyone know if krogers was doubling coupons? I’ve been on vacation,I wanted to go shopping today.

    • Kelli in TN

I just reread my comment-Is krogers matching Harris Teeters 1.98 dble coupons?

      • Jenny

I haven’t heard of any Kroger’s matching. They did match triples last time in your area though so might not hurt to ask. Today is the last day though.

    • Kelli in TN

Thanks Jenny- I will give Krogers a call :)

    • Julie

FYI, guys; if you waited until today for shopping you’re outta luck on the trash bags (and possibly a couple others). I purged my coupons last night and had a PILE of them exp 6/30. :-(

    • Lisa

The Kroger I shop at in Dallas Ga in New Hope does accept publix coupons not all Kroger are like this it is up to the mgr as to go off the store coupon policy

    • My Krogeer had Pedigree Dog Food @ $10.99 as part of the Daytona promo. and I had a -$1.00 off q (don’t know what insert)

    • lee

I am new to southern savers. I went through and printed pages of coupons from the kroger list. When they printed they said retailers coupons and in the lower right hand side said use at publix. Did I make an error when printing?

      • Jenny

They are really manufacturer coupons and can be used at any store. Kroger will get reimbursed for them without any problems.

    • lee

      thanks jenny

    • Rose

“They are really manufacturer coupons and can be used at any store. Kroger will get reimbursed for them without any problems.”

I’m not too sure that’s correct.

A “Retailer” coupon is a deal between the store and the manufacturer. Kroger would not be reimbursed as they would be on a “Manufacturer” coupon.

Because of this deal between the manufacturer, you can stack those Kraft “Retailer” coupon with every day “Manufacturer” coupons at Publix.

      • Jenny

Publix store coupons do not have bar codes. These coupons not only have bar codes but they manufacturer coupon bar code numbers and reimbursement mailing information on them. They are like coupons found in stores that say Redeemable at. They would like you to use them at Publix because Publix helped in the distribution of them but they can be used anywhere.

In terms of stacking them at Publix they should only be stacked with a store coupon and not a manufacturer coupon. Because they are really manufacturer coupons you would be using two manufacturer coupons on the same item. The computers will not catch this because Publix computers can’t catch anything (seriously) but it should still not be done.

    • I did the BOGO free at Kroger today with the Hawaiian tropic sunscreen and used my printable $2 off coupon. I am new to southern savers and attended Jenny’s workshop in Pooler,Ga this past month. I went to Kroger today and bought $147 worth of food and my out of pocket was $75. Considering a month ago I didn’t even use coupons, I feel that I did pretty good!

    • Rose

      Hi Jenny,

On another site, a poster wrote Kraft about their “Retailer” IP coupons and asked if they could be used at Kroger because they did not have a Publix store near by. Kraft wrote back to extend their apology and explain that this was a promotion for Publix shoppers only. The coupons specifically say “Redeem At Publix”. The coupons do not suggestively say “Redeemable At Publix”. I haven’t tried it but I’ll agree that the coupon would scan at say Kroger. But, Kroger would not be reimbursed by Kraft as indicated by Kraft’s reply.

I was able to stack this “Retailer” coupon with a like “Manufacturer” coupon at Publix. Technically, as the front end manager agreed, it is a store coupon like an “LU” coupon except they will be reimbursed for it. The bar code is there so it can be processed by the clearing house for submission to the manufacturer. “LU” coupons are handled in house so there’s no need for a barcode. (Just like the penny coupons.)

“Publix helped in the distribution of them”. I didn’t know this. How did Publix help and what is Publix getting from the deal? Why would Publix allow a competitor like Kroger to benefit by allowing them to redeem the coupons? Thse answers might help shed light on this new breed of coupons.

“Store” coupon = Store coupon without manufacturer’s reimbursement
“Retailer” coupon = Store coupon with manufacturer’s reimbursement
“Manufacturer” = Manufacturer’s reimbursement no matter what store.

      • Jenny

I understand the concerns Rose. From a clearinghouse perspective the words on the coupon that really matter to Kroger are “Valid in the USA, FPO and APO”. That means that the coupon is even valid overseas (no Publix for thousands of miles). If a commissary submits this coupon it is valid, if Kroger submits this coupon it is valid. Kroger can also use those words to fight any redemption denial if they like.

Publix has advertised these coupons on numerous fliers and in their series of magazines. It is a cross promotion in a sense. Kraft funds the coupon redemption Publix helps advertise it because it benefits them if all these folks feel that they can use the coupons only at their store. Which most do.
