Thanks for getting all the deals for us! I wonder if all Krogers are going to increase the price on cottonelle…the days of free toliet paper might be coming to an end.

    • Savannah

Jenny….do you know why the dial coupons are not doubling? Thanks.

    • Cheryl

Hi, Thanks for the awesome job you do every week. I just wanted to let you know that yesterday when I went shopping the cashier manually made my .35/1 Dial soap double. However, as she would do her magic and make it souble, it would double on its own again. So, if I had 10 soaps she manually put 5 coupons through to equal out what it was doing and reflect like I had 10 coupons. Also, I bought 4 Betty Crocker Fruit Roll-ups and did get 2.50 off next purchase and also it states that if I buy 5 or more on the next purchase I would get 3.50 off my fruit roll-ups. I was able to get my fruit roll-ups for .50 each because I got a .50/1 fruit roll-up coupon in my ss this week-end. I live in southeastern Ky. So, with my coupons and the extra off I think I will be able to get 5 free boxes plus $1 overage. Once again, thanks for your hard work everyweek.

    • laura

Why won’t the dial coupons double- they don’t say ‘do not double’ as far as I can see. I already ran into this a few weeks ago- so I know they won’t but what makes them different? Is it a system error that the manager could overide- if you are using a bunch of them?

    • Jenny

The Dial coupon barcode starts with a “9…” any coupon that starts with a 9 will never double at a store with the cashier manually entering it.

    • Lynn

Does anyone know how many trash bags(Heft) come in the box? I like to know the unit size on some items to see if its cheaper for me to get it somewhere else. Thanks!

    • paige

just F.Y.I hefty trash bags are bogo at my foodlion!!

    • Sienna

There is a cellfire coupon for the Kroger salad dressing, making this an even better deal! I had totally missed the Cheerios deal, so thanks!!!!

    • Lynn

Paige~ Thank you for letting me know that. I don’t see it in the ad but will try to stop by and see if they are on sale at mine. Thanks again!

    • Amy

I am new at this, but what does the e coupon mean?

    • Jenny

E coupons are coupons that you load right onto your Kroger Shoppers Card. I have linked to the three companies above and to a detailed page of e coupon information at the top of the Kroger Deals. If you have any questions though email me and I will try to help.

    • Melissa

Just wanted to share a deal with you. My Kroger in Spring, TX has a closeout buy on Axe body soap (my teen uses it like water) for $2.44. I had some coupons for $1.50 (I found them smart source) making each one 94 cents. Also, Dr. Pepper,7 Up, and Big Red is on sale 5/$12. There were coupons in the paper for $1 off 12-pk of Big Red. I had 3 of them making this deal 5/$9 making them $1.80 each! Thank you for all your hard work. It has helped my family tremendously!

    • Sienna

The reg. Huggies do work for the promo, but not the Pullups – I tried today and had to add a chef boyardee to get to 10 items! The .75 celfire for Kroger dressing did work though!

    • Jenny

Sienna – The Pull Ups are pictured on the front page of my Kroger ad (South East Region) so you should be able to make them take the discount off!

    • Donna

I love your website for the Walgreens and Rite Aid updates and have your link on my blog. Your hard work makes my life easier. Thanks so much. Do you know of anyone in the northwest that has a good site for stores in my area. We do not have Publix and some of the other stores on your site?

I try to post some of the really good deals that I see mostly for my family, but I have found nothing that compares to your site for stores in my area. Any help would be great. Thanks again!!!

    • Lynn

Jenny~ Do they have a limit on how many of these deals you can get in 1 transaction?

    • MelRae

Hey Jenny, the Purex printable is telling me it has reached it’s print limit. Too bad, because laundry detergent is the one thing I am actually low on! And I really like Purex Natural Elements. I think it is the *only* laundry detergent that has no dye, yet has a nice smell. So, I may have to get a bottle without a coupon (horrors)! lol!

    • Sarah

Kroger is putting the smackdown on the Cottonelle Free TP. They are refusing to double the coupon and will not double coupon

    • leigh

my kroger is telling me that they will not accept printable coupons from smart source and others that only have one bar code on them. the colgate max fresh from the colgate website only has one bar code. the only ones i am having luck with are the ones from coupons.com and bricks because they have two seperate bar codes. is this right or should they be taking all of them?

    • Jenny

It is Kroger’s policy to accept any printable coupons that are legitimate. The stores around my area are also trying to create new strange rules. Call corporate and complain and they will generally get onto the store and things will get better. Kroger doesn’t even use the second bar code so it shouldn’t even matter to them! I assume they are only saying that because it looks more authentic. There are other security features in Smartsource coupons that you can point out like individual security numbers etc.

    • Amy McGuire

OK. I’m so excited. I went to Kroger with a list I made from your list and my bill was $54.93, I handed her my Kroger card and coupons and had to deal with Regan for a minute when I turned around my bill was $35.11 ( I saved $19.83)!!! Tomorrow I’m headed to Publix.

    • tysa

I have had a problem with my krogers just monday they refused my coupons that I got off of coupon.com because they wouldnt scan.I have never had this problem before .I had the right product and they were not expired but 3 out of 7 wouldnt scan .Has anybody else had this problem, I wonder why they wouldnt scan?

    • Sara

I have had nothing but hassles out of Kroger this week!

1-I had b1g1 coupons for Viva Paper Towels. They said that the register recognized them as being Fraudulant! (that night I was shorted 5 rolls of paper towels)

2-Did a RX transfer so I could get the $20 in free groceries. What a pain in the BUTT! It is a credit on your Kroger card, not a gift card.
So as soon as you scan your K card the first $20 on your bill comes off.
If you have coupons for those items you have a problem!
One transaction came up that they owed me 5.60, which the guy refused to give me. (this was for what I expected to be about $1.50 transaction)
Then when I rang up the rest of my groceries I suposedly only had $13 left of that $20 credit. (NO MATTER HOW I FIGURE IT THE NUMBERS DO NOT ADD UP, I KNOW MATH AND THIS DOESN’T figure right)

3-I got a pain in the rear Cashier the other night. Instead of inputting b1g1 prices he just threw all my coupons in the drawer and refused to manually input the prices. (I had about 20 b1g1 coupons!!!!)

4-My total came up to be $65 and change. I went to CS and complained about him not putting in my coupons right. They refunded the whole transaction and pulled my roughly 100 coupons out of his drawer.
My actual total came to $35 when it was rang up right.
(somehow by charging my card, refunding and charging again, I got overdrafted!)

5-Tonight none of my coupons doubled. I had a $5 off $25 coupon that never got scanned. So I was over charged yet again. (about $11 tonight)

    • Beth

I had issues at Krogers today too. I thought I’d bought 10 items in the $3 off 10 deal. It turns on one item wasn’t in the deal. Someone had stocked the wrong yogurt with the sign. I asked if I could buy another ravioli for the 10th item. Customer service told me that Krogers policy had changed and they no longer did that. She said there was nothing she could do because I hadn’t purchased everything in one transaction. I ended up calling the 1-800 Krogers#. The customer service person I talked with said no policies had changed, and I should have been told they would refund all the items I’d bought on the deal. Then they should have wrung them up again – all 10. I went back and waited 20 minutes for the customer service worker to refund and rering my order. I got my $3.00 back but it was a lot of extra time and work!

    • Amy

I am new at coupon cutting and your website is a huge help! This week at Kroger bought 2 Betty Crocker fruit snacks and an offer printed with my receipt – “save $3.50 when you buy 5 fruit snacks” but I am unclear how this works. Will $3.50 be reduced on my next trip if I buy 5 or will I get a coupon for a future trip if I buy 5? If a coupon, is it only good for fruit snacks? Also, am I able to use multiple/identical (multiple cottonelle’s) coupons on the same transaction? Please educate me!

    • Jenny

If you buy 5 you will get a coupon for your next purchase, so it won’t come off on that purchase but you can use it any time you like, whether it’s the next one or some other one later. They do expire eventually though. You can Buy 5, get a coupon, use it and buy 5 more, get another coupon etc.

The coupon is good of anything you buy, you do not have to use it to buy more fruit snacks.

You are able to use as many coupons as you have products for. So if you have 4 cottonelle coupons and buy 4 cottonelle then yes you can use them. Some stores are limiting printable coupons to 2 coupons that are identical per transaction. Just split your buggy into more than one transaction to beat that (who cares if it takes them longer and annoys them, they created the silly rule).

    • gail

I had a problem at Kroger today…the cashier would not take the internet coupon for my honey nut cherrios because the coupon did not state a size to buy..has anyone else had this problem?
