Hey does Tallahassee fl get coupons in the paper and if so where can I get the best paper? Because I live in Valdosta and they put NO coupons in our Valdosta Daily Time!!! Please help!!!

        • Jenny

They do get coupons in the Tallahassee Democrat. You can also look for the GA Time Union they get even better coupons.

        • Sarah R.

The Democrat gets coupons only on Sundays. I think the cheapest place in town is Walmart, but I hear that certain Walgreens have Sunday papers on Monday for $1. But just a warning…Tallahassee is also a small grocery market and we do not get as much as larger cities.

I’m in Tallahassee and shop at the Vinyards Publix. Will have to check out those deals as the Rondele Veggi blend is really good!

    • Beth

The vinegar coupon says the offer is no longer valid … pretty sure I’ve never printed this one.

      • It’s saying that the limit is reached, although I have not printed it. But I would like to have a coupon for it.

      • carla

Not on sale at the Publix in Birmingham in Vestavia on Hwy 31 – bum! I got the coupon to print, but I’ll save it for later…

Welcome to our town! There are often unadvertised deals in my local Lake Ella Publix.

      • Michelle

I lived right across the street from Lake Ella when I went to FSU (a looong time ago!)

        • Jenny

I was right in that area during my FSU days too!

          • Mandy Gabers

I miss Tally and Lake Ella! Go Noles! Miss you Bobby!

            • Shannon

Love the Lake Ella Publix!! They still take competitor’s coupons!!

    • Catherine

When I went to the Prattville AL Publix this morning they had the large tubes (8.2 oz I think) of Crest toothpaste on sale for $1.99 and the P&G insert ran a .50/1 coupon today. There is a limit of 4.

Regarding Publix–North Charleston, SC at Ashley Phospate/Dorchester Road–I don’t know if the kind lady that my husband and I bumped into will read this, but I am hoping that she will. She mentioned Jenny and Southern Savers, so I know she views this site. :-) Anyway, we were making a quick grocery run, so we didn’t bring our whole coupon book with us. I have been out of foil, but knowing I had a 75 cents off Reynold’s coupon, I was trying to hold out for a sale. When we went to Publix, the foil was surprisingly on sale. My husband went up to a lady with a coupon book and asked if she had that coupon that was expiring 12/31, and if she was planning to use it. She was so sweet and gave it to us. I said, “only in the South can you go up to a complete stranger and ask for a coupon!” LOL. So if you are that lady and you are reading this, we sincerly say “THANK YOU!!!” :-)

While at my Publix one day, I had my binder open on the seat part of the cart and an older woman had stopped me politely and was inquiring about the set up. I told her about ur site and a couple others (this one is the easiest to remember for most people, then they can navigate the rest through here). Meanwhile, one of the store high-ups was walking past right as I was telling her how amazing the store was at stacking coupons and taking competitors and the customer service etc. The employee turned back around, reached in his back pocket and handed both of us a coupon for a free gallon of Publix ice cream. LOVE THEM! And it was full price that week too! LOL Keep up the great work Jenny!

how cool & nice of them:)

    • Chrissy

I’ve only been shopping at Publix about a month now. Never did before because I thought it was too expensive and went to WalMart. But, now that I have found this site and have learned better :) I love shopping at Publix.
The first time I went with my Q’s and my shopping list printed from this site, I saw this woman going through her coupon binder and stopped to ask her if my IP Q’s were going to work and other first time couponing Q’s. She was so nice and mentioned Southern Savers. I told her that’s why I was in Publix. Thanks to this site!
This was in SW GA (Albany).

    • Jonette

Is there a Southern Savers similar site for the northeast/PA area? My children want to get on board!

      • I haven’t heard of anything. You might want to try afullcup.com because they have other grocery stores. However, the forums were not up to date. I would use this for at least CVS, Walgreens, or Rite Aid. My mom is near PA in NY and I wish there was something for her!

    • Meredith Gaynor

You were in Tallahassee? You totally need to do a workshop here!

      • Leslie

        I second that!!

    • Ms. T

Wow @ all the Tallahassee people! Btw, I don’t think that the GA Times Union is available in Valdosta anymore! :-( I know that we can’t get it in Tallahassee; I rely on friends, who commute from Jville for the Sunday Times Union–that paper offers some great coupons on Sundays!

    • Brittany

thanks for reminding me to get in gear and do that last-minute small stock-up trip i was putting off! went to publix and spent $43, saved $40 with close-to-expiring coupons!

    • Thanks for creating a really informative site. It’s more than most people do! The More Publix Deals 12/26 :: Southern Savers was very helpful indeed. Jeremy.
