Well, they just released even more coupons.  I’m giddy to see Juicy Juice and another Huggies coupon!

Pairing a $2 Huggies eCoupon with a $2 off Huggies printable coupon means you save $4 on one pack of diapers!!!

New Coupons

3.  Load all the coupons to your cards — you might as well load them all there is no limit and then they are ready if you buy something.
4.  Go shopping as usual with all your paper coupons.

Watch your account and request a gift card when you hit $5 saved.

    • Momto310

Am I understanding this right? The coupons don't reduce your total amount at the register, you just earn rewards on the website for coupons!

      • Momto310

I meant for gift cards instead of “coupons”!

        • Crafty_cat_86

That's the way I understand it.

    • Scrappinmyboys

      Yeah, I'm confused too

      • Kristy

from what I can tell and understand this is how it works.. ie: You load the Juicy Juice on to your CVS card – you buy Juicy Juice at CVS. $1 will be added to your SavingStar account- once you get $5 in your account you can transfer the money to either your bank account or paypal. Does that help?

    • Seeallmycoupons

Questions??? Do these get doubled if you use them at a store that doubles MC's?

      • Kristy

No..using these do not affect your bill. Think of it as a rebate for buying certain items that goes into your savingstar account.

        • Seeallmycoupons

so you can still use a manufacturer and store coupon along with what is loaded onto your card?

    • Belle

      This seems pretty awsome!

    • Smaples23173

      Yay This should be interesting!

Ok. I don't like the options for payout. But I would deal they are trying to get more options. Question. Are there any other sites that do this. The ecoupons that are listed under kroger, aren't they just for kroger and u can't use it together with paper coupons at kroger.

      • Other sites like Cellfire that run eCoupons are different from these and come off at the register. These are really like getting cash back on your purchase like you were shopping through Ebates.

No I do not like this idea, I would rather save the money at the register than wait for it to hit 5 bucks and then transfer my bank acct or a paypal acct. Good idea, but not for me….

      • Remember though you still get regular coupons at the register so this is just extra unexpected cash back!

      • Hi – I also wanted to mention that SavingStar eCoupons are exclusive to our service. There is a chance you will see a similar offer somewhere else, but often our offers can only be found on SavingStar, so its an extra way for you to save on many products. – Josh

    • Crafty_cat_86

Fun!! I use rebates for play moeny so this should be worth my while!

    • kab50coupon

I think this is great! I use paypal to pay for my ebay purchases so now I have a way to get money to buy things without using money from my own bank. Wonderful!!! I only wish all stores have cards to load to. But, I'll take it anyway. Thanks!!!!!.

    • staceyf

I loaded mine earlier this week and already have $2 in my account for the little bit of shopping I did. Awesome

      • Anyone NOT had money show up in their account? I bought an item that had a match up 3 days ago and it hasn't shown up.

        • Kim

I loaded coupons last Sunday and used one on Monday, but it still hasn't shown up in my account. Anyone else?

          • Hi – Savings take 7-30 days to post depending upon where you shopped. Once we receive the data from the stores, we post it to your account. Thanks, Josh

    • It's weird, but I'll give it a shot! I can use it at Winn Dixie and CVS, and I have paypal, so don't have to worry about adding my bank info! Thanks!

    • Mel

I thought in the comments after the initial post, Josh from Savingstar said that these were NOT meant to be used in combination with paper coupons. And yet you keep saying that they can be. I want to save money, but I want to be ethical about it, too.

      • Hey there! I just skimmed all the comments on the old post just to double check and didn't see anything from Josh saying that.

I've spoken with them a number of times and every time verified that they can be used with paper coupons and the answer is always yes. This is also the case with Upromise coupons. So you are good.

        • Mel

This is copied and pasted from Josh: “
In terms of how it works, SavingStar's stance is that manufacturer coupons — paper or paperless — are not intended to be combined for a single product purchase and manufacturer coupon policies typically reflect this. Store loyalty or club card discounts, however, may usually be combined with coupons of any kind in accordance with retailer policy. Thanks!”

What does this mean, then? (Sorry–don't want to keep pressing this issue, but I had read this and it stuck in my head–can't proceed until I have it put to rest.)

          • I know that saying I've spoken with them and asked this numerous times and always been told yes is basically heresay but I have been reassured that this is okay. Also I don't have it from the savingstar site, but copied from the Upromise site (the coupons are the same and run by SavingStar):

Can I use paper coupons with my eCoupons?

Yes, you can use paper coupons in conjunction with eCoupons. You can even use paper coupons and eCoupons for the same product.

            • Christine the new couponer

I have had problems at Kroger using the e-coupons with paper. To prevent this from happening and insuring that I get my double coupon value, I scan my card after they enter the regular coupons. This usually allows me to get the biggest discounts available.

            • lc

That is how I do my coupons at Winn Dixie too so that I can use my coupons on the “free” product

            • Hi everyone.
To clarify, SavingStar eCoupons will always work
whether or not you use a coupon from a different service. We do not inhibit other coupons. Manufacturers typically state that is against
their policies for shoppers to use more than one coupon for the same purchase, but if you choose to do so, SavingStar eCoupons will work. Thanks, Josh

    • Brittany

Is there any way to use these at Publix? On a upromise card or anything?

      • For right now Publix has chosen to not participate :( I am encouraging everyone to email or call them and let them know you want to be able to use these there!

    • Drdd8

will kroger still allow you to use a paper coupon since their rules regarding coupons have changed?

      • Yes, these do not come in the store and are not ever part of Kroger's system.

    • Danielle

I loaded the inital coupons last week and a couple of them are now saying “sold out”- looks like only a limited number of people get to actually USE these coupons!

      • As long as you loaded it before it said sold out, you still have that coupon on your cards and can use it. It just means that no one else can load it. There are limits to all the offers.

    • Raynesmw

Very excited about this b/c I use PayPal to “buy” my extra coupons!!

    • Kb

Im fixing to try this with my cvs card after a vacation I am completly out of huggies pull ups for my son! This will help with the cost, thank you!!!! excited to try it!

    • Caitlin

Is anyone having issues entering their Lowes Food card number? It keeps giving me an invalid # when I enter it?!?!

      • staceyf

I can't load my Lowes Food card either!

        • We apologize for the Lowes cards not registering. There seems to be a strange issue with some of them. We are going to reach out to Lowes on Monday to see if we can straighten everything out. Please email us at support@savingstar.com so we can help you get these registered. Thanks! Josh

    • JuaJua

Q- do you have to register your card for several zip codes, bilo in GA, bilo in SC? or Just the one card can be used any bilo? Help

      • your one card and coupons can be used at any Bi-Lo.

    • Cwsnsvrp1

how do I get the cards to load the ecoupons on

      • You can use your local retailer's regular store loyalty card. For some stores that do not have loyalty cards, they have Upromise keytags which can also be registered. You should be able to get these cards at the customer service desk of your local retailer. – Josh

    • Anna

Slowest website ever to load coupons!!! But worth it:)

    • Couponfever

Are the links working for anyone else?

    • Mamaof2Ctgrls

The only problem I see with this program is there is no way to redeem this item at Publix correct? That is where I do the vast majority of my shopping…kind of a bummer…

      • Melissa

I would encourage everyone that wants Publix to participate in this program to send them a comment/email on their website under Contact us.

I sent them one this morning. :)

        • Thanks Melissa! We'd love to have Publix participate, and we encourage everyone to reach out to Publix so they can hear directly from their customers as well. -Josh

    • Diannascoupon

I believe, by all that I have read on Saving Stars FB page, that you canNOT use both paper and the ecoupon they offer. I think what it will do, is kick out your paper coupon and not give you credit. Please verify. I've tried to get Savings Star to give a straight answer.

      • Sonyapell

Reading the site tells me that these don't come off of your total like a paper coupon. The amount you “save” goes into a Saving Star account, and you can trade those dollars in on Amazon gc's, bank deposits, paypal…

    • Melissa

I used one of my coupons today from SavingStar, or at least I thought I did, when I came home it was still there. Does it take some time for it to come off??

      • Kate

Same thing for me. I bought Sunny D at Kroger and my Savingstar account doesn't reflect that I used it or received credit for purchasing it.

        • Hi all – SavingStar posts your savings within 7-30 days depending on the store that you shopped. As soon as we receive the data from the store, we post it to your account. Thanks, Josh

      • Vanessa

same at Harris Teeter … I loaded the Lean Cuisine coupon, then bought them and it's still showing up in my account as activated but not used.

    • rose

Can I play dumb…what card do you use? Your CVS card or do I need to buy a CVS store card and load money on that??? Sorry, new to this.

      • Hi Rose – You can register you regular CVS card. Thanks, Josh

      • rose

        It's the store coupon…dahhh!! Thanks

        • rose

          I mean card!!!

    • It says on their site that savings take 7-30 days to post to your account :)

    • rose

Jenny, does this mean you may be able to match this with the say, Winn Dixie ads?? Awesome if you did!

    • rose

Never mind :) I see you already did it!!!!! Thanks for all you do Jenny!!!

    • sarahinNC

I have a question for the $1/2 Juicy Juice.  Do I have to buy the 2 Juices in the same transaction, or can I buy them in separate transactions?

      • Hi Sarah, Currently you would need to buy the 2 juices in the same transaction. Thanks, Josh

    • Mrsbrooks5

I called my Kroger to see if they would allow this.  They said no, because they have that new (1 month old or so) policy that won't allow them to use more than one coupon.  And I'm personally wondering, if the money goes into your account from the manufacturer, and they gave you the money off from the paper coupon, isn't that causing them to pay twice (like two coupons on the same product), and is that fair to them?  It seems that Kroger might be right to protect their manufacturers.  I would love to take advantage of this if it is in fact legit, but I'm having trouble deciding that it is.  Not to mention the fact that I would have to convince my Kroger manager that it is legit to use both.  Any thoughts?

      • SavingStar

Hi Mrs Brooks. To clarify, SavingStar does not inhibit coupons from other services. If you use our eCoupons, the savings will be deposited into your SavingStar account. Manufacturers typically provide coupons with the intention that they will be used once which is why their coupon policies usually limit multiple redemptions. Comparing the coupons on SavingStar to the coupons on Kroger at the moment, I don't see any overlap between our coupons and their coupons. -Josh
