I love this lotion. I already got 2 free this week with a coupon I printed last week but 2 more free is great news.

    • Michele

i just got bsck from walgreens and they did not let me use my RR towards my purchase. i bought some items that would generage RR for me. then, for another transaction, i bought some items that i had coupons for as well and then wanted to use my RR to pay for them. the manager said that the RR are considered manufacturer coupons and could not be used with another manufacturer coupon. i am new to this level of couponing and thought i would post to see what others thought of this. did i do something incorrectly?? basically, i had to pay for the second transaction and left the store with $5.50 in RR.

I’m pretty sure there is nothing at all true about this? I’m not the couponing expert but have been doing ECB’s and RR’s for the past month and have never run into this problem? Have you printed off the Walgreens Coupon Policy? The only think I can think of is that you cannot use more coupons than what you have in your buggie. Read over this and see, they do call it a manufacturing coupon, however, so maybe that’s where they get you. I’ve never had that problem though.

That manager was wrong! I have 1 walgreens in my county and 2 in a county about 20 miles from me and they all will let you use a manufacture coupon plus your RR. You can go to Walgreen's website and print out a copy of their coupon policy and take it with you to show them. I just looked at my copy and it's under the topic “Multiple Coupons” and it says ” When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer” However, if you are purchasing 1 item and are going to use a manufacturer coupon plus an RR you can't use 2 for just 1 item so you'd need to just purchase something real cheap like gum. That way you are getting 2 items and also using 2 coupons. Hope this helps but I have printed out a copy of the coupon policies from each website for the stores I shop at then that way if it's someone new or whatever you can pull that policy out. Good luck

RR don't work like +UPs or ECBs. They are essentially a coupon. This is why I don't like Walgreens nearly as much as CVS or Rite Aid. Basically, you can't have more manu. coupons than you have items. So if you buy two items and you have a coupon for each, then you have to get a third “filler” item (like a candy bar, for example, that you don't have a coupon for) if you want to use RR. HTH

      • couponmama

Walgreens has somewhat complicated couponing rules. You are allowed up to one manufacturers' coupon & one store coupon per item. Register rewards are considered a manufacturers' coupon as well, so if you had a man. coupon for each item, then tried to use your RRs, it would exceed the number of allowed coupons. One way around it is to throw in a “filler item” (a cheap item from the ad, candy bar, etc.) then you have the same number of items as man. coupons, and your RRs should go through. Always just count the coupons you are using for your transaction, including RRs, then be sure you have the same number items or more. One other note: if you're using RRs on something else that's generating RRs, make sure they're not from the same manufacturer (Procter&Gamble, Kimberly-Clark,etc.), or your second RR may not print out. Hope that helps!

Also keep in mind Michele some of these managers make up the rules as they go along…poor business practice but sadly true.

I've yet to find 2 WGS with identical policies regarding Q's.

      • Mandi

It is confusing but so worth it when you get it down. Jenny posted some cheap filler items on the Walgreen's weekly add this week just for that reason. :-) RR are considered manu q's so you would need a filler item (like less than $.25) and you could have used both just fine. You will catch on and LOVE it!

This is a great money maker. When I got to my Walgreens this item had a $2 off now coupon on it.

    • Jacksonct07

Good morning I have a quick question, I wanted to know if you are able to buy two lotions in seperate transactions not using any RR and get the 5RR back on both?

      • Mandi

        • Jacksonct07

          Thank you!

I just used the coupon -it says “or any” so it scanned with no problems!

        • guest

the coupon I printed states, On any (1) Vaseline 6-8 oz Clinical Therapy Lotion.

    • Angie

This coupon for Vaseline lotion is only for the Clincial Therapy lotion. Only the Infusion lotion is on the reward program at Walgreens.

      • Jmoss1820

Same problem here Angie on the Q. However, last night I had the coupon pulled up from the site and it did not say it was for only the clinical therapy, but was waiting to print it this AM on the printer in my bedroom and someone in the family closed out my open window on the laptop :-( I may try to use it though….anyone else have this problem in printing this Vaseline Q??

      • Phyllis

The coupon is still there, but you need to search a bit for in. Once you log into the site, click on “special Offers” tab on the top menu bar. That wil bring you to another screen, where you will see numerous links for coupons. To get the coupons mentioned above, look over to the far right for a box that says “save with online coupons” and has a picture of a woman holding a piggy bank. Click on THAT to be taken to a page hosted by coupons.com……

There you will find all the coupons referenced above.

        • Phyllis

OR, if you are already a registered user, click on the link Jenny supplied, above, log in from there and you will be taken directly to the coupons dot com hosted site. My 1st respons, above, will work if you need to register for the site 1st. Just checked and all coupons were still there.

        • Kaki

What am I doing wrong? When I get to the page hosted by coupons dot com, there are no coupons there? Are they gone already?

    • Supermombeaufort

I was at Wags yesterday afternoon and decided to get a flu shot while I was there. A catalina printed for $3 off a $15 purchase that was good only for the day. Unfortunatley I did not see it until after I got home. It was tucked in the flu shot paperwork. Sure hope someone else can get one and use it!

    • Sparklecat2009

I love this lotion! Bought 2 yetserday and had to go back today and get one today b/c it's FREEEEE!! (Work right around the corner from Wags)

    • Caroliangirl1988

is anyone else having trouble signing up on unilever? it wont go past the name page.

    • Dewdropfairy

I just took advantage of this great offer today. Thanks for the tip!

    • Lauren

The coupon must be gone. The only one that I can find is on the Clinical Therapy lotion. No coupons come up on the actual coupons page.

    • Nccouponmom

I am assuming that this was a deal for last week. Or is it for this week too?
