Does anyone know if I can use my rewards I earned before to buy the new free after rewards products (and still get the reward)?

      • David H Black

According to the terms of membership for the Worklfe Rewards program

Purchases made with Office Depot Reward or Merchandise Cards do not qualify for Rewards.

        • tori729

Wait so you can't roll your rewards over? Doesn't sound free to me then!

          • kcreviews

Yeah, that doesn't make me happy. I have to wait and buy something that is not going to earn me more rewards so I can use my existing rewards.

            • Sarah

Agreed. I think Office Max you CAN roll your rewards.

            • Kiley

This is a new thing they just started within the last 6 months or so. We (PTO)used to do all of our recycling with Office Depot, we would use our money on classroom items and we were always excited to be using FREE money. Then they changed the program and stated that using the recycling money or money on 100% back items did not count. So now, if you recycle $50 worth of cartridges, you have to spend $50 out of pocket to even get access to it. Same goes for 100% reward items. Needless to say, after this change, all of our business now goes to Staples.

      • Robin

        No, you can not!

    • Bonnie

The storage totes look perfect to file coupon inserts.

    • Joyfulcreations2

Does 2 deals per member mean…2 of the same deals per day?

      • Robin

Yes, the ad says “limit 2 of each item per member per day” Last time they had rewards like these I went on several different day and bought 2 of several of the items each time then got them all back in rewards which I used to buy the Brother Laser Printer that Jenny recommended that was on sale and some printer ink.

    • Doug

Does anyone know if you can buy the same item on two different days?

      • Thecouponpops

The small print on the bottom of the webpage says that you can buy a maximum of 2 items/day so you should be able to….someone with more experience please advise if this is incorrect.

      • Snellmom

        Yes, you can.

    • Mkmbirds

These are great deals, but Office Depot, takes way too long to get your rewards back to you, Staples send theirs out in about 6 weeks and OD takes 3-4 months

      • Thecouponpops

Does it really take 3-4 MONTHS???? That's absurd! Office Max is the way to go. Live and learn. Thanks.

        • Thecouponpops

Does Staples have a program like Office Max where you can roll over the rewards on more free items?

        • sandra

          yes…it does..ughhh

    • Nikki

Thanks for the heads up! Can I use a $10 off $50 coupon and still get the worklife rewards?

      • Thecouponpops

Don't know why a coupon would affect the rewards points but not sure. I used a coupon code: 19508359 and got $10 off. Make sure to get an extra item if needed because if the $10 off takes you below $50 you have to pay shipping of around $9.95 which doesn't help you. I picked up an extra file tote and the overall price was cheaper with no shipping costs.

    • JBU

I agree w/ what some other people have posted….if you can't roll the rewards, it's not worth it. Thanks for letting us know about the opportunity anyway. :-)

    • Thecouponpops

That stinks. I'll just be getting items through Office Max from now on. Office Depot is overpriced anyway but I thought it was like Office Max so didn't mind spending more to get the money back to by more free items. Thanks for sharing everyone. Thanks for sharing everyone.

    • Heather

I used my rewards from last quarter this past friday. I got a Kodak HD handheld camcorder, an 8 gb memory chip, and the 2 year protection plan for $20.67 out of pocket! I had 2 $10 off coupons that I was planning to use, but they wouldn't let me. That would have made my out of pocket only $ 0.67! But, i'm still happy with my deal.

      • Michelle

My Office Depot (Two Notch in Columbia) let me use my coupon.

    • Tatyana

I didn't know about this “no rolling rewards” policy. Do you know if I can return the items in the store then? I ordered over $50 online. This is rediculous. I thought I would be able to roll rewards. :( What is Staple's policy? I might have to get my business to Staples form now on.

      Thanks so much for info!

      • tori729

You can roll them at Staples. That's my office store of choice.

      • sandra

I know, I was totally psd. I had spent over $100 b4 getting the rewards and finding out you couldn't because I had READ on various posts that you could, ..but nope. ARGH. I'm personally not risking it with any of the work stores anymore because if it doesn't work, you lose you're money and they can't help you because it IS stated in the policy of each of these rebate stores.

    • Heather

Does anybody know if the hot cocoa k-cups can be used without a machine? Like, can I open the cup and put it in my own hot water?

      • Amy B.

Yes, they are just portioned packs.

    • Kaybender

Shop through mypoints and earn 500 points for your $50 purchase. Or 1000 points when it goes over $100 which was VERY easy to do. 1500 points gets you a $10 gift certificate to a few places.

    • Mimilou55

Does anyone know if the $10.00 off $25.00 coupon is working on the Rewards deal?
