does anyone know how the schoolio brand crayons are?

      • Jordanavery

Publix has crayola crayons 3 for $1!

      • Hayleyb323

I think they break pretty easy.  I guess for a penny if your going to buy other stuff already to meet your $5.  But I would keep an eye out for the crayola deals.  They hold up much better.

        • Agiacomelli430

Office Depot has Crayola 24 count for 25 cents.  As a teacher I prefer Crayola b/c they last longer and are not as waxy as the other brands.

        • Kroger also has the 24 packs of Crayola crayons for 25 cents each.  Their limit is 12.

      • Love2Q

Kroger has the 24 ct Crayola for just $0.25!

      • Chazree

like others have said, they break very easy. Crayola is better, but for a penny it is still good to have on hand or donate.

    • sassafras

Teachers: show your ID and they will let you get double the limit any sale item. The $5 minimum purchase does still apply, however.

    • Fcasvu13

What are the MaxPerks? Are they like RRs or UPs?

      • K2sfi

Basically RRs on your Max Perks card like Rite Aid or CVS.  You sign up, get coupon/cards for % off, etc, early notifications on sales/on line sales, etc. It's worth it.

    • Kristi

Does anyone know when it says $5 additional purchase can the additional purchase be made up of other things on sale?  Or does it mean $5 worth of stuff and then you can get the $.25 deals?

    • Beck

I have a question. I know when you turn in ink cartridges, they will not release the reward for them until you spend that amount of money at thier store. I turned in several earlier this year, I think $15 worth, but they have told me that they will not release my reward until I spend $15 at Office Max. Does it work the same way for the other MaxPerks Bonus Rewards. In other words, if I buy that paper at $6.99, are they going to hold the $5.99 reward hostage until I spend another $5.99 at their store, like they did with my ink rewards?

      • Nikki

No if you purchase an item that qualifies for a maxperks reward you will get that reward on the 20th of the next month after your purchase.  The ink cartridge recycling is the only reward with that purchase  stipulation.

        • Beck

          thank you so much, nikki!

    • Bleski

Will they accept the $1 off coupon for the scotch tape disp. if the coupon is for the tape???That scares me a little…I had the RIGHT coupons for Publix in Anderson SC last night and was treated like a criminal….very scary :(

      • Pamela

so was i but at a different publix. publix is horrible. i won't be going back there. bi lo is my store to shop and with them excepting competitors coupons now, i am in heaven.

    • Carolinablueyes84

$5 worth of anything will allow you to then buy the .01-.25+ deals

    • Rebecca

just left Office Max very happy!  There is a tearpad at the store on the Sharpies display for $5 off a purchase of 3 items (extensive list on the coupon of what items.)  The 4 count of highlighters is on sale this week for $1.00 (limit 2.)  I just bought 3 packs ($1 + $1+ $3.39 since there is limit of 2 at sale price.) for a total of $5.39, then used the $5 off coupon.  Got 3 4-packs of highlighters for $.39!  Great for donation.

    • 4stokes

Just got home form Office Max, I got 10 packs notebook paper, 3 packs pens, 3 boxes crayons, 2 packs of erasers(3 in a pack), 3 packs tape, 1 box 12 count Sharpies(rain check from last week) for $5.39. I was pretty happy with my purchases.

    • couponmama

I did get a couple good deals at Office Max today, but wanted to let folks know they wouldn't take the Scotch tape coupon- said it must be for a different product, even though it says “magic tape”, just like the package. Did anyone have success with this coupon? Also they were of course out of the big packs of Sharpies, but I'll check again in a couple days…

    • Volunteer Amy

Remember Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes when you are getting schooll suppliers!  This is a great time to stock up!!!!

There is a $5 tearpad if you buy 3 Sharpie or Expo items.  I got 2 four pack of Sharpie highlighters (on sale for $1), 2 four pack Expo dry erase markers (on sale for 2 for $5) and 2 packs of filler paper (on sale for a penny) for $2.16.

    • MSTW

I got a great deal at my Office Max yesterday. They have a cute reusable shopping bag that is normally $2.99 but w/an in-store coupon it is free with the purchase of 2 scotch brand products. I used (2) $1.00 off coupons for the scotch tape that is on sale for $1. Then they had an in-store coupon for $5 off any 3 sharpie/expo products I got 2 packs of Expo Dry earase markers that are on sale for 2/$5 and a 4 pack of Sharpie highlighters that are on sale for $1. Then I got 2 packs of the notebook paper for $.01. My total for everything $1.08.

    • Savingmoney11

Went ahead and picked up the expo dry erase markers today 6 for $2.50 each minus the $5 off three sharpie tear pads x 2 for about $5 total that even beat SAMs club pricing by about $10 for my daughters school teacher. Should be enough to help stretch out supplies for the school year. I think it was a great deal!
