Last year I was introduced to a product with one of the funniest names I’ve ever heard: Toe Juice.
The original formula I received last year came at the perfect time – right when mosquitoes came out for the summer. Toe Juice proved to be awesome for bug bites. The whole line started when a high school science teacher in Idaho wanted to find a solution for his newborn son’s dry, cracked feet. He had tried lotions and creams, but they were all ineffective. This is a formula that worked for his son, prevented the problem from recurring, and his friends and family began wanting to try it.
The original formula (green bottle) is intended for your hands and feet. Toe Juice For The Body (blue bottle) is for more sensitive skin. Some of the things Toe Juice has helped for other people include: acne, eczema, after shave, bug bites, athlete’s foot, ringworm and more.
We don’t have a ton of skincare issues in our house, but it’s nice to have something on hand when someone comes to me complaining about a bug bite, and it’s a fun conversation starter if anyone see’s “Toe Juice” sitting on the counter. The formula as a strong alcohol smell at first, but when it dries (it dries quickly) it smells pretty nice.
