Love pizza but free pizza is even better! Thanks for the posting this!

      • i think its even better if you buy a gift card for papa john pizza, and still get this for free.

    • Agardner

Thanks!  we have dance and open house tonight so this is perfect timing for dinner:-)

      • Rudydoescakes

        We do too!

    • Rghgzg

Actually it says with a pizza purchased at regular price. Cant use it with the $10 pizzas.

      • Amym850

So you can't use it with the saveology $10 gift card??  :(

        • Katieevelynlewis

Yes, you should be able to use it with the saveology deal, which is really just a gift card, not a discounted pizza deal on the papa john's side!

          • Amym850

            Awesome! Thanks!

    • Grocerys4us

I couldn't find a place to print anything out. Will I be notified by email or text with the free pizza offer? Thanks for your help and we really look forward to some “real” pizza instead of frozen.

      • amber

I signed up and received an email with the free pizza coupon code. Mine says it doesn't expire until December 2011!

    • Katrina_stewart68

I did this and didn't get a coupon or an email.

    • Amyhockinson

Usually these deals are for online purchase only. As a papa john's employee and a couponer, let me just say…PLEASE be nice to the employees and TIP YOUR driver! If you call the store and they tell you they can't do this deal because it's an online only deal, don't take it out on them. We literally can't do anything associated with the online ordering process. When these come out, the website will sometimes go down or run slow because of all the traffic and people call the store and yell at our employees like it's our fault. Also, most people don't realize that once a driver leaves our store, their hourly wage drops to $4 an hour. And because they spend most of their time on the road, and gas prices are so high, they survive off of tips. If you can't afford to tip your driver, or waitress for that matter, pick up your food and don't opt for delivery. As a couponer I am always looking for the best deal, but I would never withhold a tip as a means of saving.

      • Katkoupon

For the longest time, I didn't even know I was supposed to tip drivers. It wasn't until I went to college, since I  grew up in the country and was out of the delivery area, I had just never experienced delivery. Later on, I lived with 3 drivers who all depended on tips to make ends meet. Yes, drivers do depend on tips! And Amyhockinson is right about never withholding a tip to save money…if you can't afford the tip, go pick it up yourself or order a smaller pizza. Or do like we do, make your pizzas at home for the most part, then save up for night off!

        • Bkb1288

So who gets the delivery charge?I was told it was the drivers.

          • Amyhockinson

No. drivers do NOT get the delivery charge. That goes to Papa Johns. Drivers make minimum wage in the store and $4 an hour once they log out a delivery. Depending on the store a driver may get a flat dollar amount per delivery they take to help with their fuel costs. This amount is usually determined by the current national average price of gas. For example our store currently pays $1.16 per delivery. When you are driving 20 miles round trip for one delivery this doesn't over gas most times. Regardless, this should not be a factor when tipping your  delivery person. You should always tip.

            • Can this be used with the $10 & $11 pizzas that are on the website? We are about to begin our vacation and tradition is pizza on our night of arrival. This would be a great deal, even though my favorite Papa John's product is cheese sticks.

    • Katkoupon

How much is a regular price pizza, like $15? I thought the $10 pizzas are a “sale” price.

      • Katkoupon

Looking online, Medium Pepperoni is like $10.50, and this says “any pizza”, so think I will do this deal! Thanks, Jenny!

    • Brandyblurbs

This is not working. I am ordering a Works pizza for $14 and it keeps adding 2 medium pizzas or charging me. Their online ordering is NOT user friendly!

      • Smbatchelor

i am having the same problem!!

      • Amyhockinson

It is not! Please write to corporate with any suggestions you may have to improve it. The more user friendly it is, the more business we get. So please don't hesitate to make comments/suggestions! :) I hate that our store loses business because customers can't get through the online system!

      • Cjc11jan98

This is happening for me, too. I placed the order thinking the $$ would deduct, but it never did (even w/ promo code). In fact, my med pizza shows as “free” on the order form, but the charge did not come off! I'm going to have to contact papa john's–i ordered a large pizza, too, so I'm following the rules I think?!?

    • Justice_duck16

This was very very difficult and confusing for me!! I had to start over like four times because I was very confused! The online ordering system is far from user friendly! I thought I was doing good by getting a med then getting the free med too. Which would be plenty for my family and it was still sixteen dollars when it said that the med was like 9 something.  I mean two pizzas for 16 isnt too bad but I dont think I am going to be ordering from them online again. Too much work and if I hadnt already promised my husband pizza I prob would have just given up

    • Lamize

Thanks, again, Jenny.  I have received my email that includes the free pizza code.  I haven't used it yet, it doesn't expire until December 31st of this year.  I will save it for a night when we don't have time to cook…

    • Marykmcleod

Just want to help those who are having trouble with using the code:)  It took me 20 minutes to figure out,but I used it last night:)  It works the opposite of most codes.  You need to enter the code in 1st, then it will walk you through ordering the 2 pizzas.  1 is the regular price and then the free medium cheese.  I had tried ordering 1st and then entering the code, but it does not work that way.  Hope that helps:)
