Looks like a great week to me!! YEAH!

    • Amy L

$1 MQ printed from Facebook on Fresh Express salad. Not sure if the print limit has been reached or not. But I printed this one saving it for a sale!! YEAH! HTH!

    • Jen M

Is this the Atlanta ad? I have the one for the Jacksonville area and I’m not seeing the Mrs. T Pierogies on sale?

    • FreedomSpradley1

      Slow week for me.

    • hakeber

are you going to include the green and yellow advantages? thanks so much for all you do! you are amazing!!

    • Brandon

Looks like the same old, same old from Publix. We can get free yogurt, Greek yogurt, Ronzoni pasta, and Country Crock. Seems like these items are free at Publix almost every week.

      • LD

LOL guess I have been missing it either that or in Florida they dont do the garden pasta . I really like this and have been waiting for a while for this to be on sale. I better start paying more attention .

        • Guest

This doesn’t happen in south GA either.  Seems same rules in Fl apply to these stores as well (like no doubling); not just coastal GA ones.   Got my Ronzoni Q’s ready, though!

    • Cmroberts 0304

Will the YoPlait coupons ever be reset ?  I have not been able to print any for a few months :(

      • Anonymous

Yep, and I contacted the company about it and they basically told me they put out enough coupons in enough venues and weren’t giving out more. :(

    • Mollieirene

      Ho hum…….same 'ol

    • Tanya

Publix simple summer pleasures booklet has coupons for 55 cents off nestle toll house refrigerated cookie or brownie dough and for 55 cents off nestle coffee mate-can make a great deal to combine with manufactures coupons!

      • Gidget

The coupons in that booklet are actually manufacturer's coupons, not Publix store coupons, so they can't be combined with the other coupons listed.

      • Lara

It also appears that their are no more prints in the Nestle cookie coupon printables listed by Jenny.  :(

        • JoshuaGriffing

          same here..

    • Renee

Was hoping for Quaker Instant oatmeal B1G1 this week!  Seems like it has been much longer than 6 weeks since the last time…does anyone remember when was the last time?  I really need to stock up on it.  With 3 kids we go through about a box and a half a week.

      • Kristin

We are waiting for oatmeal too!! It has been a long time… :)

      • At least 2 months.  We've been out of it for about 3 weeks, so maybe more than that!

        • Superjen

That and I have been hoping for the packs of Rico rice, remember those that were 3lbs for 99 cents so often last year?  The cheapest I can find rice now is 1.59 for 3 lbs at Aldi.

    • What is the the Zip code for the walmart General Mills printable coupon?

      • Bauercandace

I'd like to know, too!  Can't find it with the usual ones.

    • Vtthomas

Yay!!  My kids are so happy about the fruit snacks being on sale!

      • Bamagrits84

mine too and the crush cups!  fun summer snacks!

      • Wooburne1

I did not see anything for fruit snacks what kind?

    • Audley79

Does anyone know if Publix will be coming to North Carolina?  Specifically the Fayetteville area?  Used to live in Florida and I feel like I am missing out on awesome deals with no Publix here.

      • From what I have heard in the past, there is an understanding between Publix and another store in NC that Publix will never come to NC.

        • Wendy

I wonder if that would be Lowes Foods.  Since moving to SC, I can't find Lowes, but discovered Publix.

          • Judy

I loved Lowes Foods when I lived in NC but their sales just aren't as great as Publix… I'm thankful I'm in SC now but feel bad for the rest of my family!! Sometimes when I visit my family I bring them stuff from my stockpile since they only live near a Lowes and can't get as much for as less.

        • Dinosaurpig

I cannot say who I am but I can tell you that your rumor about some agreement between Publix and a NC grocery chain is not true.  Publix is mostly saturated in Florida and still has lots of room to grow in AL, GA, TN, and SC.  If you look at a map of Pulbix stores in those states you will see lots of room for expansion.  The Atlanta distribution center serves all states but Florida.  If Publix were to go to NC then they would need a new DC.  Why build one when they have so much opportunity in other states?  Believe me, many Publix managers would love to go to NC.  It is a lovely state.

      • meme

We were in Jefferson, NC a couple of weeks ago and I went into a Rose's store. Their food prices were very reasonable. For instance, the large can of Martha Holmes greens was $1. I thought they probably wouldn't take coupons with prices that good, but the clerk said they gladly accept coupons. She said she saves lots of money over the local grocery stores (I saw Lowe's, Food Lion). If there is a Rose's store in your area, you may want to check them out.

    • mommyof1

We do not have a Publix in our town.. so to drive 20 minutes doesnt seem like much of a deal again this week.  40 minutes total of drive time at the price of gas now will probably be equal to what i'd save on free pasta and butter..

      oh well

    • Lyddiejay

can you stack store coupons?  I have one for kroger for $3 off nice and easy and manu for $2 off.  Looks like publix has one for 1$ off.  If I use all 3 I get it free.

      • Judy

You can no longer stack a store coupon with a competitor coupon. I think that's always been their policy but they're cracking down on it now.

      • Gingiraffe

Not anymore.  Some stores used to allow this, but when they came out with a new corporate coupon policy it says only one competitor and one manufacturer coupon per item.

    • Syfert4

anyone have a problem with Driscoll coupons?  Every time I try to print I get the message about “accepting cookies.”  My computer is already set to accept them but I get that message every time and can never print the coupon :(

      • Haley554

I'm usually able to print coupons, and I haven't been able to print the Driscoll either. I get the same “cookie” message you do.

        • Syfert4

I think it has something to do with the operating system – I can't print on Windows 7 but … I can on my old computer which is probably Windows XP??

    • Loreal3780

I live in Georgia and there is another $5 off $30 coupon in todays AJC.  Its a separate ad from the weekly ad.  Its advertising for summer breakfast sale.  Its good from 6/2-6/15, so you might want to buy several papers

      • Dianne L

Today's AJC-as in Tuesday? And it is a stand alone ad, not on a page somewhere in the paper? I am not trying to be smarty, just asking for clarification! Thanks so much for this info! I wasn't going anywhere today, but I'll be heading out in a little while!! :)

        • Loreal3780

Yes its a stand alone ad, its tan with neon writing.  Its similar to the add they ran last month with the wine.  Hope that helps ladies, I live in Bartow county I know sometimes Publix ads come out on different days.

          • Dianne L

Thanks! I did get my paper today at the Publix on Cedarcrest, Dallas, GA and the ad was in mine! so glad to get the heads up!!!

      • JenniferV

I just checked the today's (Tuesday's) AJC and I didn't see any coupon. What section can it be found in. Thanks!

        • Loreal3780

It was in the section with the flyer ads.

    • Fayettevilleinc

yellow advantage flyer? can someone tell me where to find this one at?

      • Abbielou02

This and the Green flyer are at the front of the store by the Carts, at my location anyway!

        • ThriftyFamily

Coupon flyers are kept at the service desk.

    • Tiff715

Cant you stack the Toll House q with the publix Q to make for a better deal??

      • Amy B.

        It's a manufacturer's coupon, so they won't stack.

      • Cellwife

Yes. I will be stacking the publix Q for the Toll house and the Man. Q

    • Gillyp3864

Here's a tasty freebie no one has posted yet. For weeks now there's been blinkies at milk case for $1. off ANY Silk Almond Milk.
Think about that for a minute…
now go over and grab all you want of the 10/10 Chocolate sinlge-serving milks they've got in the canned milk aisle! I've gotten about 30 of these in various stores-both here in GA and in FL.
Here's the kicker……..tastes just like regular chocolate milk!!!!!!!!

      • Ashley

I saw your post and did this last.  Thank you so much for sharing this deal!!!!  My husband was excited as well!!!

    • lisa

anyone have codes for the banquet dinners please

    • Jenmikeabby

      Does Publix allow for overage?

      • Guest

Some do, some don't.  It depends on 'the luck of the draw'.  I have 4 stores I shope at.  2 do, 2 don't. You can always call and ask!

    • guest

Anybody able to print Lysol coupon?Just asks me to sign up…over and over and over.

      • Abbielou02

I did! And they had coupons for Disinfectant Wipes!

      • Carolyn

        same problem.

    • ireneY

Oh boy, Jala yogurt bars again! But no Q matchup this time. If I don't tell DH and just get the Dove, he'd be just as happy. =]

      • Mmwest25

There is a printable Q for the Jala bars.  In fact, it comes up in Adobe format, so you can print as many as you like!  It's for .50/off so should double to $1.

      • Sheila

There is a coupon match up, Jenny has posted. I have just printed 4 coupons.

      • ireneY

Thanks for pointing out the Q! I don't think it was listed earlier.

    • Marie

what zip code will bring up the cheerios coupon? it doesn't show up under mine.

      • Jen

it didn't show up for me either :-(

    • Lindsaynordman

Does anyone know the 8 digit purchase code for the Chef Boyardee Coupon?

      • Mdavis1205

if I remember correectly its 63829897, don't hold me to hta though. I usually remember numbers.. I hope it helps.

        • Mdavis1205

mispelled correctly my fingers move faster than by brain at times..

    • Greenskin97

this might be a dumb question… but can anyone tell me how to go about getting the publix coupons? are they in the tuesday newspaper? or…?

      • Marie

Which coupons are you referring to? Like the carnation coupon came in a magazine that I got from customer service at my store about 3 weeks ago. Others you can get right on their website. Everytime I go into Publix I swing by the customer service because they lay out coupons there all the time.

      • Kathleen

You can normally pick up both the green and the yellow advantage buys fliers at the front of your store.  Occasionally, there will also be additional fliers with q's in them at the front of the store as well.  Some stores, however, have been keeping the fliers at the customer service counter to eliminate the problem of having someone come in and take the entire stack.  So if you don't find them at the front, you can always ask.  There was one time I was asking customer service and they didn't have a copy of it, but found one at a store 30 minutes away and had it mailed directly to my house for me!  It never hurts to just ask, the worse they can say is that it's not available!  :)

        • Greenskin97

Thanks! That helps a lot! I just started couponing and I had no idea…. :D

          • Mimimacmac

If you are a publix fan you should also go to publix.com and sign up for their free quarterly mailers. At the top of the site there is a tab for “Clubs & Programs”.

      • ileana

It depends….most of them will be at the store were they put the weekly sales ad, at customer service or in booklets on displays around the store.  Some times they are in the newspapers if it has a date next to te coupon it's refering to.  Hope this helps!

    • Ruthhayden

Links to yogurt, Frosted Flakes and Snapple are not working for me.

    • keilah

Had a $5 off $30 coupon in my freebie Greer paper that come yesterday!

      • Tiff715

Anyone is SC get one of these coupons?

        • Miss_afb

i would also like to know if its been spotted in sc

        • Tsgilb6

There was one in the Greenville News from last Wed (5/25).

      • Jacketfan24

I got the Greater Greer News freebie with the ads but didn't see the couopn…NVM, I found it!  Thanks!  I wouldn't have even looked at that insert if I hadn't seen your post!

        • Psimmons5565

Hey Jacket Fan!!! What day did you get the Greer News Freebie, Monday? Thanks

    • luiza

If you are like me in a hurry to toss your expired coupons at the end of the month, here is a heads up: the May Procter and Gamble insert has 1 glad trash bag coupon which won't expire until mid June. Usually, the entire insert expires at the end of the month, so I was glad I spotted this one : )

      • Tiff715

Thanks, I was just about to do the good ol' insert toss! You just saved 4 coupons, Im sure they are thanking you! :)

      • Vaughan379

No, no, no!  don’t toss your coupons!  Send them to our military overseas!!  They can still use them!!!   http://www.ocpnet.org/Base%20List/BaseList1.htm

      • Frances

Also the Ivory $1 does not expire until 6/30 + a few more.  Check each one!

      • Ms.Annie23

Thanks for the tip. After thumbing through the pages I found that there are actually 2 pages that have items that will not expire til 6/30 in the middle of the insert. It includes Luvs, Gain detergent, Era, Febreeze Air effects, Ivory bar or body wash, zest bar or body wash and disposable Mach3/Venus razors. Everyone needs to check again before tossing.

    • cherihberry

Thanks, Jenny!  Your work saves me lots of money.

    • cherihberry

Thanks for all your work – it saves me lots of money!

    • Kiss_o

how do you print your selection?  I check the box for the coupons i want and when i create list, i see the selection but not the actual coupons.  Do i have to click on printable?  Also on some of them when i click on printable, nothing comes up but it directs me to traget or walmart site.  I already added the option to print coupons so that's not the problem.  How do i print?

      • ChrissyPunkin

The list is just a list, not coupons.  You have to click on the individual links for the coupons.  If it takes you to Target, then you just have to search for it in their coupons.

        • Kiss_o

does walmart accept these coupons also?  This is my first time at it

          • Jacketfan24

Walmart will accept the coupons as well as match the prices from the Publix ad…the only coupons they won't take are the competitor coupons (the ones for Target and Publix).

            • Xxplumcrazeexx

Our Walmart will not take a coupon for the item if they price match.  Clermont, FL

            • Sharon

Walmart  in Athens, Ga will not take printed coupons.

      • Angel_in_Charleston

Check the boxes for the items you want and click Create List to make your printable shopping list. To print coupons, you will need to click the link of each printable coupon you want. You can print coupons from the main listing or from your personal shopping list. Hope this helps!

        • Kiss_o

          thank u

    • Suzzie1161

I am planning my first shopping trip to Publix.  Thanks for the info.

    • Leevic40

Thanks Jenny, You are a life saver and a money saver. Thanks for all your hard work. Also, just FYI– The Publix by us, Athens, GA has stopped taking target coupons.  This is a drag, but still okay.  I understand it is a corporate policy now.

      • Nadkins

Is this the Publix on the Atlanta hwy?

        • Sharon

yes bummer.  I live on the East side and would go over to the Atl. Hwy store to use the Target q's.  Will just stay at my store now.  Oh well, Pubix is still the best!

      • weezy

I was devastated when I learned they're not taking Target Q :( :( so sad

    • Marglenna

FYI, the Simple Summer Pleasures coupons are “Publix” coupons that can be stacked (at least mine are) – I think Jenny accidentally has them marked “M” instead of “S”…

      • Lisa K.

My Publix says that the coupons in the Simple Summer Pleasures are manufacturer coupons since on the back they list how the retailer needs to redeem them and they don't have a publix lu# code on them. I guess this is another time it is up to the manager.

        • Prsol

When did you get the Simple Summer Pleasures booklet? Is it still available?
I had a hectic month and was forced to take a month off couponing and already missed the Coca Cola booklet… :(

          • Marglenna

Oh these are definitely Publix coupons. I think they might be changing to barcodes because it is too hard to type in the LU each time.

The Simple Summer Pleasures book is available now. They Q's don't expire until 7/10 so you will have some longevity with them. :-) I missed the Coca Cola one as well.

      • liz

If it has a barcode, then it's a manufacturer's coupon. Publix coupons have an LU number not a barcode on them.

      • Mimimacmac

In my book they are manufacturer's coupons. (bar code on the back that begins with a 5) but on the front they say “redeemable at Publix stores only”

    • jsuggs

I have a question. If you buy 2 of something and you use a coupon for so much off of 2 (ex. $0.50/2), can you use another coupon on the second product, or does that count as your coupon for both since it is so much off 2?

      • kim

        counts for both

    • regina

the axe deodarant shou be .65 each

    • regina

    • WynetteC

I am browsing through the household cleaners section and noticed little “get it at Kroger” notations underneath. Very helpful to me! :)

    • Courtney33409

In the yellow publix flyer good until June 17, there is a coupon for a b1g1 free lysol no-touch hand soap. There is also a coupon in the publix sweet summer savings book for 3.00 off the purchase of one system. Does anyone know if you can stack these coupons, or can you only use one or the other? People have posted that the coupons in the summer savings book are actaully manuf. coupons and not publix' coupons, and the yellow flyer is all publix coupons. I just want to make sure both can be used before I try to go and purchase them and I can't use both. If anyone knows please post, Thanks!

      • Marglenna

If it says “redeemable only at Publix” and does not say Manufacturer's Coupon at the top, then you can stack them with a Mfg coupon. Does that help?

        • Courtney

oh great it does say for the b1g1 deal redeem at publix, but then again the $3.00 of in the summer booklet has the work the store logo written on in, but it does not say redeem only at publix like the other one does. So, I guess i'm still not sure. Thanks for trying to help though!

          • jonjusmom

I also wanted to know the answer to that question too. I also want to know if I could use the B1G1 and the 3.00 off both r Publix coupons not MQ's and the both 3.00 MQ's. That would make it 9.00 off…each item would have a SQ and MQ…Please help!!!!

          • Megan

The b1g1 coupon is a Publix coupon, you can buy 2 systems and use that Publix coupon and also (2) of the coupons from the sweet summer booklet. Or (1) sweet summer coupon if you just have one. Also, is the sweet summer booklet the same as the Simple Summer Pleasures booklet? I've never heard of the other one. Hth.

            • Mimimacmac

The “sweet summer savings” book and the “simple summer pleasures” book are different. The “s.s.s.” is small almost the size of a 5 by 7 and has mostly baby friendly store coupons in it. the “s.s.p.” is a full size booklet with a variety of manufacturer's coupons that specify “redeemable at publix stores only” I got one of each when I asked for coupons at the customer service desk.

          • Mimimacmac

I have the “sweet summer savings” booklet and all the Q's in it are Publix store coupons. One easy way to tell the difference is that a Manufacturer's coupon is going to have a bar code on it and the Publix store coupons do not.

      • Megan

Ok I found the booklet you're talking about. Both the coupons you want to use are Publix Q's but yes you should be able to use them both- the buy one get one q attaches to one of the soap systems, and the $3 q attaches to the other one. Hope that helps!

    • Deloraruth

The yo-plus coupons have been taken down off the Yoplait website.  DANG!  Its my fav and I was ALWAYS getting some free.  Hopefully, they'll issue them again soon!

      • Melaniewy

        Could not find it either!

      • Anonymous

Yep, they used to always be in the paper but they took them out. This was the kind I would get for hubby!

    • nutella! yay!

    • Yay Q-pins!

I'm having a lot of trouble with the smart source printable coupons.  I followed all the steps on how to make sure your java is enabled and it still doesn't work!  Does anyone know what else to do???

      • Kristin

Have you had trouble in the past?  It could be a SS problem.  You can try switching browsers.  I'm using Google Chrome and it's working for me.  IE usually works too.

    • Xxplumcrazeexx

the coupon for the mashed potatoes expires today. the sale doesnt start till thursday???

    • Gary

      i have suave b1g1 coupon,can i use 2 55cent  coupons with it?

      • Chastail888

unless the b1g1 is a store q then no.  only one q per item

    • Kristy

I got my ad early (simpsonville,sc) and I did not see the Mrs T's listed Any one else seeing the same thing?

      • Debra

How do you get your ad early?

        • Kristy

          it was delivered early.

      • Do you know how much the John Freida Root Awakening is in the Simpsonville store? I am going to be in that area tomorrow and would like to stop in and get some.

    • GUest

OMG! the clorox blean 96 oz i only paid .99 cents at walmart. it's on sale at kmart for 99 cents and they price matched it. also used the aquafresh $1 off coupon at walmart and it rang up for a larger toothpaste than the travel size, and it was only 97 cents..FREE!!

WalMart’s PRICE MATCHING is great…take all your ads and coupons, Publix store coupons too, and they will match and take ALL coupons! It is great…one stop shopping!!!!!!! No problem in matching…cashiers do it at check out…just have the ads. AND YOU CAN BUY AS MANY AS YOU WANT!!!! No problem. Publix better watch out…

    • Coupondicarolis

What is the zip code for the ritz deal?

      • Kmsparkles14

I used 81110 and that worked for me. Good luck!

    • Mkerryann35

I went to Publix today and had a hard time. You really have to watch the cashier at the register with the coupons and scanning items. Rang up my Oscar Meyer hot dogs four times and only purchased two. Then couldn't get the coupons to scan and told me they were invalid. Seriously? Not. Told her to get the manager and he was able to help with that. Had him take off the items that rung up more than twice and had to get one of my B1G1 free degree deodorant coupon for $4.49 taken off because I didn't see that transaction on my receipt. What a day? and still new to this. Now I see what extreme couponing was saying.

Also purchased (2) bottles of Suave Lotion B1G1 at $2.71ea. Had a $.55 coupon from Publix making each one $1.08. That was cool.

      • Kristin

My cashier tried to tell me my Purex coupons weren't valid because they were for 150, and the Purex I was buying was only 100. Except the coupon was for 150 oz, and that's what the detergent was. The 100 was the number of loads.  Once I pointed that out to her she was ok.  I have a feeling the cashiers have been told to be vigilant but haven't been given enough training in some instances.

        • Rachel S.

I had a young teen male cashier pretend to scan half my coupons and keep them–I didn't realize until I got home. Definitely have to watch carefully! I wrote the manager a letter just to make her aware that so many of us are on a budget, it's important to get what we budget for. She wrote back with a nice apology & a $20 gift card. I was pleasantly surprised!

    • missyajg

Did anyone get the Sweet Summer Savings booklet that would be willing to send me their diaper / formula / other baby products coupons??

    • XM

for Courtney33409…I do not have a Yellow Publix Flyer to review, but I do have a Sweet Summer Savings booklet.  The ” Sweet”  coupons are Publix Coupons.  You can tell because there is no UPC on them, just a Publix Code… in your case, Publix Code LU#1862.  You may “stack” this coupon with any manuf. cpn which has a UPC coding on it.

    • Toni

The Voskos Greek yogurt facebook coupon did not print.  The pages all took tons of time to download,  and then a message said it was “limited to a 2-coupon download” per person.  Trouble is,  I have never printed a Voskos Greek yogurt coupon in my life,  ever.  Never.  So maybe it is already gone.

      • Peggy

I had the same problem – I tried several times days ago and it took several tries to get the registration form to come up and then found out the offer had expired.  They should take it off their facebook page if it's already expired!

      • Kristin

Check your email, or spam folder. The same thing happened to me a couple of days ago.  They send me emails with links in them to print my coupons. The email went to my spam folder.

      • Jacketfan24

It just told me the offer had expired.

    • HLBBALL34

      • Bianca J Burnett

I have used more than one, i did it today actually

      • Lwhetzel624

i was just in a publix and used 2 of the same yellow flyer coupon for 2 like products and they took them both. But I heard they would limit them, but I think each location is different and each cashier is different, good luck

    • Bianca J Burnett

I am wondering if the John Freida will be in the sale ad…I have a ton of coupons, and I know it will be hard to get them all at publix, but if it's in the ad then walmart will match it….does anyone have any idea?

    • Elizabeth

There are some $1/1 Publix Coupons out there for the Carnation Instant Breakfast as well… I can't wait to stock up! =)

      • anniesmom

Where did you find the publix carnation coupon?

        • Jandomcintyre

There is a $1/1 in the Simple Summer Pleasures booklet I picked up in Publix a couple weeks ago!!  It appears to contain all Nestle products coupons! HTH!

    • Wallyc19

if i have that says save $.50 on two, if I buy one will I get $.25 off?

      • guest

If the coupon states “on two” you must buy 2 to use the coupon.

    • Dbaeimers

I havw several $1 off and Dove from a blinkie.  It was there for several weeks and does not expire until 6/14.

    • Otsarah

I can't find the cheerios coupon

      • Cdayo4

Me either!  Anyone have a zip that works?

    • ME

Lebanon TN now limits B1G1 free offers to 5 offers per item (10 total same items). Just FYI. Also, you now have to ask for any coupon booklets such as yellow advantage at the service desk.

      • Amanda

Murfreesboro is doing it too. I think it's great….Since they started this I don't have to get rainchecks anymore.

    • Jana

The iheartpublix site says Digiorno pizzas are on sale 2/$12, anyone know if this is regional…..I need more Pizza & Wingz!

    • Kristy

Bought Morton season all & was only 29 cent!

    • becca

Jenny if you get a second could you please add the printable shopping list option? Thank you for all you do!

    • Lisa

The best deal I found right now is sign up for playtex and get $2 off coupon & match with Publix stock up savings coupon for $1 off & I can buy a sippy cup for $1 instead of $4! (which is perfect timing because my 14 month old just broke a non-Playtex sippy cup yesterday.)

    • Delaina910

there is also a $1/2 Target coupon for the Coffee-mate creamers

    • Selahpraise

My publix now requires you to ask for yellow advantage @ customer service desk. Wonder if all stores are going to this now?

      • Nancy Ellis

My Publix has always kept their coupons and advantage flyers at the customer service desk.  I've been shopping there for almost 10 years, and it has always been that way.  I forget that other stores have them near the doors. :)

      • lee

I think they should.  I was in line paying for my groceries and noticed a lady with her pocketbook open behind me why because it was full of the coupon booklets that were put out in the lobby

      • Whenisnaptime

Not glad that it happened to you, but I am so glad you brought this up because I had no idea where these things were.  I just figured they were always out since there is not any by the door!

    • Minner112

Does anyone know where I can get a Pampers coupon. The $1.50 coupon mentioned doesn't come out until Sunday. The $3 Publix coupon expires June 1. Kinda hard to do the scenario she mentioned :(

      • Melaniewy

        I found mine in a P&G flyer.

    • Cori C.

I found out today why I've been experiencing empty shelves at my neighborhood Publix. I saw a lady whose cart was full with only two products. You can imagine how many of each of those two products it took to fill the cart. The store manager was just chatting and laughing away with her. I guess she must be exempt from the limited quantities? When I approached customer service to get my (now weekly) rainchecks, I asked if they were required to set a limit on quantities. They brushed me off. I told them I had been shopping at that store since they opened and have never had to get so many rainchecks as in the last few months. They laughed and said, “the coupon people are going crazy.” I failed to see the humor in my question. However they didnt seem to care too much about it even though they said I wasn't the only one complaining. The customer service in that store has declined significantly in the last few months anyway. I've gotten used to whatever is in the ad this week, I'll finally get it two weeks later with my rainchecks if I'm lucky. Ughh just venting

      • Fowlerb1988

I feel the same way!!! Its not fair that these people can get as many as they want there should be a limit that they stick to. Other people want the same deal as they do too but they dont have any respect to not clear the freaking shelf. Take two or three and be done with it!

        • last week when the balloons were 10 for $10 i told my 2 year old if he was good at publix he could have a balloon….only to find out ONE PERSON bought EVERY balloon they had!!! i made a comment about that not being nice…

          • Couponsaver

My wife got the mylar helium balloons at the dollar store in April. As of today one of them is still floating in the kitchen. Cant beat that $1 for mylar balloons that last two months

    • Melaniewy

On the Jala Bar coupons you can reprint them. Am I allowed to do that? Won't they have the same bar code?
Also, when you hit the back button when printing other coupons to get two coupons…..will those coupons have the same code as well?  Is that legal too?

      • Wooburne1

When you cut out a bunch of the same coupons from the paper they all have the same code. So, why would it be any different if it was a printable one?

        • Mel Jolley

I always think I am doing something wrong when its a PDF. Wooburne1, thats a great point….I had to laugh at myself for a second!

    • mathgeek

Anyone have any luck getting the Publix $3 off pampers coupon?  All I could find was a $3 off huggies coupon.

      • Krissy

If you go to the Publix website and look under the Weekly Ad section….you will see the Coupons tab, page 2 of the coupons you will see both the Huggies and Pampers coupons.  They expire today….good luck!

      • Minner112

Go to the Publix website and I think I clicked on weekly ads. You'll see the “Sweet Summer Savings” flyer to the right with the Pampers coupon. Just click on it and print it. Now if only I can find another manufacturer Pampers coupon…

Is the DOVE coupon in RP 5/01 that states on it ” any 1 bag of DOVE choclates” work on the ice cream bars??

      • Diana0786

no, there is one for the ice cream!

      • InkyStink

Must be regional…not in my RP

    • Mommyking

Is the Jala coupon legit?  It prints huge and as many as you want.  I went to their website and didn't see a coupon link…

      • Kim

because it is a pdf file – i have successfully used this type of coupon in the past

      • Marina115

Before you print it, change the paper size in your settings. It will print out smaller and save you some paper and ink.

    • Unacutie

Coffe-mate has a .50 Man Q on their facebook page!!!  It's a bricks so you can print 2. 2 MQ (if your store doubles) paired w/ the target Q= 2 FREE BOTTLES! YAY!

i found mine in the kelloggs products that were marked $5 savings on breakfast or something like that. i got most of them from nutrigrain bars. there are three different booklets….i think. that coupon was not included in each of them though.

      • uriko

those coupons were on boxes of cereal about a month ago. I haven't seen them sense. My publix had them for a long time and then they were gone. Hope that helps.

            AJC has it!!!

    • michelle

The Publix store in Athens,GA(Atlanta Hwy. location) no longer accepts Target store coupons. They stopped taking them as of last Monday saying it was a corprate office change.

      • JennM517

My Publix still takes them, as well as Kroger coupons – because of the proximity of those stores.  You can ask at the customer service desk and they will give you a little card with what they do accept.  Each store has its own list.  I now carry the list in my coupon organizer in case I get any static.

      • Suzanne

My husband works for Clorox and Publix is one of his accounts.  He told me yesterday that they are going to stop taking all other stores coupons.

        • Gillyp3864

On May 23rd Publix kicked off their new Corp wide coupon policy.
You can request a printed sheet of their policy at customer service-on the back of it you will find the competitor stores they will take Q's from.
They are not abandoning the practice of honoring comp. Q's.

    • JennM517

Rats, the Mrs. T's coupons are “sold out”. :(

    • Evelynandchris

Penny item is sliced American cheese

      • Rebekahrox

Thank You for the penny item info!

      • Bryarsmom

This is one of those things I draw the line on.
I've seen this stuff stacked at the front of the store-not even refrigerated!
        I'd NEVER buy it.

        • Most cheese does not have to be refrigerated.

Eggs, either. Room temperature is fine for both unless it's hot, but Publix is climate controlled.

    • Rupadesai19

Anyone here in Woodstock ga have extra coupon for john frieda product that I can use?  Please e-mail me at rupadesai19@yahoo.com

    • Katiecouponer

Do any of you have problems with especially rude cashiers at Publix? I had one today tell me (as I got my 22 boxes of free pasta) that I was a hoarder, and accused me of copying the 2 coupons I got from the main website. I had printed the allowed 2 from online, and got all of my other coupons from extra newspapers (My fiance' throws the Sunday paper, and they usually give him 10-15 extras each week).

I understand I got a lot of items, but we give a good bit of it away. She says that the “couponers around here are going to run us out of business.”

      • Mrssjh68

You have to ask to see the manager, and contact publix.com. She is totally out of line, not to mention wrong! The manufacture reimburses  the face value of the coupon + 6 or 8 cents. So every time you save money on one item it allows you to buy another item. Thus, the store is actually making more money than they would if they did not take coupons.

Her actions as comments will drive off business and Publix corporate wants to know!

      • My goodness. Coupons don't cost the store anything, except store coupons. Jenny's got a link on here somewhere. Some people just open their mouths and stupidity pours out. I don't think they can help it. You're doing a good thing. Don't let anyone discourage you. :)

        • FreedomSpradley1

It's my understanding the store also gets reimbursed on many of their store coupons just like they do on manufacturer coupons.  The only thing they are not reimbursed on is when they double a coupon.

      • adrienne

I do think 22 boxes is extreme.  I know you give it away but you are actually taking from the rest of us who are trying to save money.  Just get what you will use until the next sale comes around.  there needs to be a balance.  I hate when I go to a store the second day (I have three kids by the way ) and everything is gone b/c people have bought insane amounts of the item.

        • Katiecouponer

The same thing happens to me when I'm just shopping for myself. I don't typically mass buy unless I know I'm about to send some over to my fiance's parents. They have 4 kids living at home and one income , so it really helps to be able to do this for them sometimes. I wonder if Publix allows people to pre-order like some stores on Extreme Couponing do…

          • VanessaCook

yes they do. ask your store manager…i do it all the time.

            • Chris

Agreed – my store allows me to order as well.  They actually have an Asst Mgr who does all of the ordering so I made friends and he tries to get stuff in ASAP.  If you're trying to get something on sale and they don't think they will get it in before the sale is over (or your Qs expire) be sure to mention all of that to them as well.  They usually give me a raincheck to be sure they can honor the price and they also told me they have a few days leeway with Q expiration so they can work with that too.

        • FreedomSpradley1

I would estimate that the average family of 4 uses two boxes of pasta per meal so 22 boxes is good for roughly 11 meals.  There are 42 days in six weeks (84 lunch/dinners).  Do you think it's wrong for someone to eat pasta 11 times over 84 meals?  It's not that extreme of an amount of pasta when you really think about it.

Do you also think the 10 non-coupon shoppers who came through and bought
2 boxes of pasta each are also “taking from the rest of us”?  It's the same
difference as one person who comes and buys 20 boxes.  The store is
likely to run out of stock either way if 20 boxes clears the shelf.

          • Not to mention, picky kids who ONLY eat pasta, or vegetarian or  vegan families who primarily eat veggies and pasta!

      • Nikki

They get their money back from manufacturer coupons, so the cashier was wrong about that. But unless there is a large display of pasta because the managers were expecting lots to be sold, 22 boxes does seem a bit extreme and leaves little for the rest of us. I'm sorry you got accused of copying though! It's rough when cashiers make wrongful accusations rather than give good customer service. There's 1 Bi-Lo I won't go back to because of a rude cashier.

        • homeschoolingandcouponingfor8

Some of ya'll could be a bit more open minded and not assume that just because someone picks up that much that they are a hoarder. We're a family of EIGHT (and by far not the largest family we know!).  22 boxes of pasta doesn't last long here! We use 2-3 boxes per meal, so thats 7 to 11 meals containing pasta max for us. I don't know what the average family keeps in their pantry, but with hurricane season right around the corner and an uncertain economy we normally have a months worth of staples on hand.

      • Marina115

Next time, call the manager over and ask the cashier to repeat what they just said. People like that aggravate me and if she loses her job, so be it! If one can't be pleasant in a customer service job than one needs to find another profession. Just my opinion. :)

      • Mclement

WalMart's PRICE MATCHING is great…take all your ads and coupons, Publix store coupons too, and they will match and take ALL coupons! It is great…one stop shopping!!!!!!! No problem in matching…cashiers do it at check out…just have the ads.

        • Mom2kids

          Remember though – Wal-Mart doesn't double coupons.

        • squirrelhater

No Sale!!Wal-Mart–365 days a year is as unfriendly to couponers as the one tall bald smart-a__ at the Hillcrest Publix in Sptbg. has been since the “change”.When I see he’s the mgr. “on duty”,I just pick up a couple flyers and leave the store-leaving him to pretend that the coupon reimbursement comes out of his pocket-still,at his unfriendliest,he’s not as bad as the ignorant, rude bunch that works for that false-advertising,over-crowded warehouse for Chinese merchandise that is “your friendly hometown Walmart”.The above comment reminds me of the lie that is the grocery cart parked at the entrance of Walmart claiming a savings of “x-percent” over Publix. If anyone stands to gain on Publix in our area,it’s Bi-Lo.We’ve all been burned by Walmart more than once.Give me a break,McAssociate.

      • Peggy

She shouldn't have been rude but most Publix stores are limiting quantities now.  Mine has a limit of 10 (5 deals) and I'm fine with that as I don't have to get as many rainchecks now and have my coupons expire before the store restocks.

        • Lauravctry

We have a limit at our store to. Ten is the limit and that is fine with me becasue I usually don't have alot of each coupon. But I would buy as many items with the coupons that I had. Ask for raincheck and move on if it isn't there. And as far as crying cause the item isn't there….. um there are other stores who carry it and Walmart price matches. I think that you are extremely overreacting.

      • Southerncouponclipper

Well, first they store gets reimbursed for man. coupons, so the get that money back.  If anything, coupons BRING more business to them.  She should be thanking you.
However, on the flip side, I must admit that it is getting irritating to me when I see someone purchase 30 bottles of shampoo or something.  I try to go on Jenny's advice which is to purchase only what you would need for 6 weeks.  I have never used 30 bottles of shampoo during a 6 week period.  I think that some people are going a bit overboard with the whole “stockpiling” issue and it causes others to suffer.  When I go into Walgreens to buy a razor that is on sale only to find it out of stock, I wonder if that means someone came in and bought 20 of them before me.
I definately think that if you eat 22 boxes of pasta during a 6 week period, then definately get it, but if not, don't you think that it is unnecessary to get them just because they are free?  I know you could give them away, but I think when we buy more than we can use, it is getting a little carried away.

      • TiredofHoarders

Can't say as I blame her.   Hope you don't shop at my Publix.  I hope they really crack down on the shelf clearers and limit deals.

        • It doesn't matter WHAT the cashier thinks. it's not her job to judge the customer and be rude, and its definitely not worth losing her job over.

Whatever she thinks, her job is to keep her smart ass comments to herself and be a cashier.

      • Gillyp3864

Katie, I too grab multiple pastas when this goes on sale. We are fortunate enought to have access to lots of papers-makes for great donation boxes to our church. We have a large ministry here in the Acworth, GA area-concentrating on the many folks living in trailer parks. Some are so poor, it breaks your heart.
And don't forget toiletries too-cause if they can't afford decent food, they sure can't come up with money for things like good shampoo, pads/tampons, toothpaste.

      • Jenny Gluck

Geez. You guys who are giving this person a hard time really need to quit being goofy. Twenty-two boxes really isn't that many. It doesn't clear the shelf! Publix has hundreds of boxes of pasta on the shelf at all times! There's PLENTY for everyone. I've done the exact same thing over the years and have PRAISED THE LORD later when money is tight and I have those boxes of pasta in my pantry.

        • TiredofHoarders

When someone brags about violating store policy, they get what they deserve. (not to mention the newspaper her fiance throws has to account for each and every RP and SS flyer that he steals for her).

          • Masmom

Store policies vary so odds are no policy was broken or the rude cashier would have been more than happy to not allowed her the ability to get the 22 boxes to begin with.  Also, I know someone who handles coupon inserts and they do not have to account for extra inserts.  Whatever inserts are left over gets trashed!

            • They DO have to account for them now. in the past month, the company that makes the inserts have said left overs must be destroyed, and anyone NOT destroying them can face PRISON TIME.

Just google “Important Message From NewsAmerica Marketing”

    • Nicole

Is there a certain order that coupons should be handed over at Publix (e.g. manu. coupons before store coupons or the other way around)?  Or does it even matter?

      • Nikki

From what I've seen, the order doesn't seem to matter.

    • Anyone get a Post & Courier Chas. SC? is there a 5 off 30?

      • Tootslil

I'm in Charleston and didn't get one. There was one a couple of weeks ago I believe.

        • Tootslil

I'm sorry I lied. It fell out of the newspaper when I went to throw it in the recycle bin…lol It's in a booklet with neon colors on it.

      • Landrethelaine

Yes there is!  I used it this morning!

      • Mel

Picked up two papers this morning. Yippie

    • Landrethelaine

Not sure if it is part of the list or not, but the John Frieda Shampoo and Conditioner is $2 off, rings up about $3.49.  If you have any of the $3 off coupons left over it makes it .49 cents!!!!

      • Does this include the Root Awekening?

        • Peggy

yes, I bought 2 this AM

      • Gillyp3864

        HOT DOG!
I've got the Target Q's to match this one!

    • $5 off $30 in the Anderson Independent Mail (SC). Good through the 14th. :)

$5/30 Q (Summer Breakfast Sale flyer) also included in Marietta Daily Journal in Atlanta.  I'm hoping they put another one in on Sunday in the MDJ as well as the AJC since this “ad” is good until 6/8 and the Q is good until 6/15.  WhoooHoo!!

        • Specimen82

What day of the week was that in the MDJ?

          • Chris

It was in today's paper (I have it delivered).  You should be able to go by their office and get some (mdjonline dot com).

      • Diana

Charleston Post & Courier too :)

    • JumpinJax

FYI, the $1 Vaskos facebook coupon is out of prints…  but it doesn't tell you until after you've given them your information.

    • Rainey993

Does anyone shop Food World? Whats their couponing like?

      • Bamagirl43

I pick up a few items from there, usually their meat is a better price than Publix.  In general, I find their sales on brand names aren't that great, so it's hard to make couponing work.  I did notice that candy bars will be free this week. The Butterfinger, Crunch and Baby Ruth are BOGO and there is a .50/2 that will double.

    • College couponer

I've never had a problem with the Valdosta, GA Publix but recently my boss went in to get a few things and the cashier told him that only the Publix stores in the Atlanta area double coupons now. Does anyone know if this is correct?

      • Destiny691966

I called up there because I have a son who lives in the area, I live in jax. and they told me the same thing, that the atlanta stores are the only ones who double now. Really suckked too cuz I was looking forward to shopping there while I was visiting.

      • Southerncouponclipper

I shop in V-town as well and they do not double coupons :(

      • Amber B

I live in GA but not in Valdosta or Atlanta and my Publix doubles coupons. Maybe it's b/c V-town is so close to FL so they adopt some of the crazy FL policies?

    • Lilredhy19

What paper does the Penny Item coupon come in?

      • Bamagirl43

It comes in your local paper.  Mine is in the B'ham news, usually on page 2.

    • Bamagirl43

o.k. kids, does anyone see the Mrs. T's Perogies in their ad?  It is not in mine.  Possibly unadvertised?

      • CCShad

Did not see it in ad, but bought it on sale today.

        • couponing rocks!

Same for me – not in ad, but was B1G1 in store.

      • Southernlady_rtr

I didn't see it in the ad and was totally bummed. I live in Alabaster, AL. Bummer!

        • Bamagirl43

Cool, I live in Alabaster too!  I am heading to Publix in about an hour, so I will check and see if they are on sale and just unadvertised. Several people have said they weren't in their ad but were BOGO at the store.

        • Kristylemons

It wasn't in mine either and Im in south carolina. really hoping my store has it bogo

    • Mandy

Question? On a B1G1 Free item can you use 2 – $1/2 coupons?

      • Bamagirl43

No, you would have to buy 4 products to use 2 -$1/2.  You could use 1 $1/2 for the BOGO.

      • DC

I think that you can.  In fact, I know you can because I have done it before.  Publix items will ring up at half price, so you don't have to B1G1.   So in that case if you decide to buy 2 items then you can use 2 coupons.  Your coupon should say “Per Item”

        • Bamagirl43

I thought she was implying she wanted to use 2 of the coupons for $1 off 2 products when only participating 1 BOGO (2 products).

      • Mel

No you can only use one because it's a 1 off of 2 items.

    • Southernlady_rtr

Del Monte Tomato Sauce not in Alabama ad?

      • Lynneskitchen

It was on sale at my PUblix as well as Contadina, same size and price!

    • Had a great, stress free shopping trip this morning. One of the workers at Publix told me to try self-check out. I was sceptical at first because when I have gone through self check out with coupons at other stores it was SO frustrating. But I love it at my Publix in Chattanooga. I could make sure all prices were correct and I could make sure the coupons went through myself at a slower pace.

      Total OOP: $13.95 plus tax
      Total Saved: $37.12!!!!

      • Gillyp3864

I've used this at our Perimeter store here in the Atlanta area. Only problem I encounter is sometimes the machine doesn't sense the Q-you have to give it a qick shove thru the slot in the machine to get it to recognize and deduct it.

    • Peggy

Dove Ice Cream is not on sale in Lexington, SC.  One pack rang up at $3.99 so we took it back to the freezer dept. – too high for me even w/a $1 coupon.

      • It is the pints (that are next to the Ben & Jerry's ) that are on sale, not the dove bars.  :-)

        • Peggy

Thanks, I didn't realize that.  The clerk and I both looked all through the ad and couldn't find any Dove product on sale.

      • Bamagirl43

Dove was on sale in Alabaster, AL, but it was such a tiny little container, it wasn't worth the 75 cents.

    • Snowski824

I have a $5 off Publix coupon that you could stack with the $5 man. coupon for Gerber Good Start Formula along with a $4.75 “check” that I would be willing to send to someone that could use them. Email me at Snowski824@aol.com

      • Snowski824

        Someone claimed them.

    • Kim

Does anyone know if the $5.00 off coupon is in the Nasville Tennessean?

      • Mel Jolley

It wasnt in mine this morning. Pleasant View, TN

      • Djboughton2

It was in mine ~ Antioch, TN

      • Kat4animals

It was in my Tennessean. I'm in Murfreesboro. Its in its own booklet.

    • Triciam1981

Just an FYI to those shopping in Chattanooga – I went to Publix this morning w/ my perogi coupons in hand only to learn the shelves were empty! They had more in the back, but they are going quickly – most of the boxes they brought out didn't make it to the shelves!

    • Rainey993

ok I know some of you guys give some of the stuff away but think about this. When you clear a self and I go to buy enough to feed my family and it's all gone then we have to do without that week and no one is giving us anything. it's good to donate and I do it all the time but when you take every thing then that leaves alot of us out that still needs to feed our family also. I can't feed ny family that week on a rain check. Just like everybody else we are on a budget and I have to plan a menu and I only have so much money and to get there and it's been bought just becuase 2 or 3 people could get it for pennies on the dollar. Give me a break. I have stood in the store crying because I didnt know what I was going to feed my family for the week. So take it all if it makes you feel good but just know what it's doing to other's

      • Yathink?

Ever noticed that every single shelf clearer you come across claims they donate it?  Weird coincidence.

      • Chris

If you find yourself in that situation why not see if the store manager will substitute another brand/size?  My store does.  But that's partly the store's fault if they allow it to happen – my store makes me order if I want more than a few of something.

      • TheAnnoyingOne

“Shelf Clearers” are what exactly? I mean I buy 10-20 items sometimes up to 40 on B1G1 sales. But if your talking about people like me being shelf clearers you should realise we do one of two things 1) order the amount we want from the manager, 2) buy towards the end of the sale and get rain checks. Almost anybody who buys in bulk has to buy coupons sets off ebay, which means they will not get there coupons until the second day of the sale at the earliest and we generally have 5+ sets coming and wait and do one big shopping trip on Wednesday and hit Kroger and a couple Publix's. I have 14 mouths to feed at my house, and yes I am well stocked, but 40 boxes of cereal will be gone in a month easy.

        • Scmom08

If you're ordering ahead of time, then you're not a shelf-clearer. I consider a shelf-clearer someone who gives no notice and takes every single one of that item from the store. It's frustrating to people like me who only desire 3 or 4, but can't even get 1.

        • Ashley

What if only 2 or 3 of an item are left?  If I take all 2 or 3 does that make me a shelf clearer? What if 10 are left and I take 9?  Whats a good rule of them to go by? I don’t want to be rude towards other buyers, but not sure whats the
          “golden rule”.

      • TheAnnoyingOne

If a store has 200 Units and 50 people buy it without coupons and buy 2, there goes 100 Units. And then 20 people buy 2 with coupons there goes 140 Units, and then 12 people buy 5 with coupons there goes another 60, making all 200 Units gone. Only 82 people bought the item, no one in any bulk, and a Publix probably has 500 people or more a day walk through there store. Just because it's gone does not mean someone cleared the shelf. It usually means that it is a heavily demanded product at a good price and the store did not/could not ordered enough of it.

    • Great Publix trip! I spent $25.06 and saved $79.65… and that was ONLY manufacturers coupons (plus the 5 off 30). :) Thanks Jenny!

    • FreedomSpradley1

It's my understanding the store also gets reimbursed on many of their store coupons just like they do on manufacturer coupons.  The only thing they are not reimbursed on is when they double a coupon.

    • Triciajones

The link for the Jala FroYo bars is a pdf. We avoid those because that's like copying a coupon, right?

      • If it's on their website, its safe. it's not safe when someone is emailing it to you, or saving the PDF on their harddrive to print later.

        • Cayoung_8

okay before anyone jumps on me, I am asking a question to improve my knowledge in case I am making a mistake!!! that being said, what’s wrong with saving a pdf file?  I never make “copies” of coupons, but I have been saving pdf files that companies have released.  What is wrong about doing this if you go by the limits (if any) that the coupon sets forth?

          • Chris

I personally don’t think anything is wrong with that as long as you’re complying with the terms of the Q.  I do it as well – if they issue it as a PDF then they apparently don’t care how many get printed because they have no controls in place to count or limit the number of prints per person/machine (obviously within reason – 100 prints would be insane).

Like the Nexcare Q for bandaids – it’s $1/1 and Walmart has them for $1 this week.  Plan on stocking up since I seem to need bandaids constantly.  That Q is a PDF so I saved it and printed several.  The Q says one Q per purchase so I’ll just go through self-checkout and run multiple transactions so I can use my Qs (unless they let me use more than one – up to them since it’s their store).

        • Cayoung_8

      • Chris

No if that's how it was issued then that's fine – they issued it that way.  I've never had trouble using multiples.  Especially since copies usually have some flaw on them if you look closely.  It's the ones with the veri-fi code on them that are the problem – those should never be copied.

      • Amanda Leach

Can you use 4 of them? I printed 2 but a friend gave me her 2 because she decided not to get them…I don't want to waste the time of picking up 4 and they not taking all 4 and asking them to take 2 off.

    • Drkrj

I am traveling to FL.  Can you get only 1 item in a BOGO?  I know you can in GA.

      • Drkrj

Does anyone know the BOGO policy in FL?  Trying to get my coupons ready for the beach and hoping I can only get one item at half price.

        • Cachmel

You have to get two items in FL. But you can also you use 2 manufacture coupons and store coupons with B1G1 deal. I hope this helps.

          • Drkrj

Thank you!  Will change what I buy

        • Wooburne1

you have to buy the two.

      • aeb1778

No, it is a true BOGO in FL.  The items do not ring up half price.  Hope that helps.

      • Danelle

Nope, if you buy one it will ring up full price.  Have to buy 2!

    • Allthatglitters2009

Does anyone know where the starkist coupons are? TIA!

      • NewMommy2

If you like them on Facebook, Every friday you can print a coupon from them!

    • Kat4animals

It seems like over half of the items listed that say printable by them are not available.  I answer all the questions they ask and give my info to get the message. There are no prints available for this campaign.  For example the nestle toll house cookies. $1.50 off 2.  actually none of the cookies coupons were available.  I don't understand that!!!!!

      • Scmom08

I was able to print the Nestle coupon. It depends on if you've printed it in the last month. You can only print it once per month I believe.

    • Bamagirl43

Great experience at Publix today.  I got almost a full buggy of stuff and paid $9.78, saved $62.95.  I didn't clear a single shelf and bought no more than 5 of anything.  Perogies are going fast!

    • Kat4animals

Another question ppl.  When it states that you can find the coupon in say SS on 5/08 and you go to the smart source for May 8th often times its not in my smart source.  It gets quite frustrating when I dont have coupons for items on sale when its listed to be in a certain flyer and its not.  Whats that about?????

      • Bamagirl43

I know what you mean, but coupons are sometimes regional.  For instance, I never get any John Freida or Garnier or Kellogg's cereal.  I have also missed out on all the bar-b-q sauce lately, because our coupon was for KC Masterpiece.

        • Kat4animals

Thanks Bama girl!!! I was wondering. Oh well, I guess I will have to take what I can get.

      • Where I live we have to “county jump” to get better coupons.  The county I live in has extremely limited or no coupons.  Go one county over and they include tons – usually what is in the lists or some variation.  This is all in the same paper – just different counties. We do what we have to do : )

    • Rainey993

trying to learn everything. When some of you guys talk about ordering stuff from the grocery store how and why do you do this? Do you have to wait after the the sale starts or when you get your coupons? Tell us how to do it.

      • Chris

Go to Customer Service at whatever store you shop at and ask to place a special order.  If you want more than 10 of something then ask to speak to a manager first or ask for the special order or ordering manager.  They will have you fill out a slip that has your info on it as well as the info for the item.  If they think they will get it in before the sale ends then they don't give you an RC but if they think it will take some time before the item comes in then they usually give you an RC for the items.  When your order comes in and is ready for pickup they call you and you just go back to the store to Customer Service and let them know you are picking up your order.

When the Pepsi products were on sale the other week BOGO I went in that weekend and asked for 25 12pks (I bought 4 that night with my shopping trip and 4 another night).  The Pepsi guy comes on Tuesdays to my closest store so they just asked him for extra Diet Mt Dew and then called me that day to let me know it was ready and I went Wednesday evening and picked it up.  Right now I'm waiting on an order for those Bic Soleil razors that were BOGO but free with the manuf Qs and they expect them to be in this week.  The manager there said they can take my Qs (which expire today and tomorrow) up until Saturday when they do their submission.

So I get what I'm looking for, it's no inconvenience to anyone else, and I get it at the right price plus still get to use my Qs.  It's a win-win for me and the store.  Now I will say I frequent this particular store and I also know all of the managers so they may just be being overly nice for me – but this store is usually pretty good about special requests and customer service anyways.

        • jenjim4

Where do you shop? I'm in Smyrna

          • Chris

I tend to go more often to the Cumberland Rd store at Cumberland and Paces Ferry (all of the managers there have been really nice to me).  I also go to the one at S Cobb and EW Connector (the Customer Service Manager there is a really nice lady).

Both stores cashiers tend to be really super nice folks (most of them).  I have a couple that I specifically frequent just because they are always really nice and friendly – even though they are sticklers and make sure your Qs are all correct/match/etc (they go through every one too) they are still great people.  I will state that the afternoon/evening shift is the best at both stores.  I love Publix and hate shopping anywhere else.

            • cg

hi Chris, Do they still take Target coupons

            • Chris

The Cumberland & Paces Ferry store takes Kroger, Whole Foods, and Fresh Market only.  The S Cobb & EW Connector store takes Kroger only.  There’s one in Mableton on Floyd Rd (S of EW Connector) that does take Target (someone on here said they did so I called to confirm and they confirmed that they did take Target as a competitor).

There’s another store at S Cobb north of Windy Hill but I’m not sure what they take.  The store at Roswell Rd & 285 in Sandy Springs should take Target and Kroger since there’s a Target right in the same shopping center and Kroger up the street (haven’t been to that loc since they changed the policy though).

I plan on using the Mableton store if there’s a deal on and I have both manuf and Target Qs to use – it’s worth the somewhat special trip to get a specific deal.  Then I can just stop at Wally World or Target while out that way.

            • Beck

The Mableton store does take Target coupons.  I tend to go to that one since it’s closer to me, but they never have anything in stock!

            • Chris

Everyone probably goes there and uses their Target Qs!  LOL

Anyone know of another store near Smyrna that takes Target Qs?  Mableton was about as far west was I wanted to go and Sandy Springs to the east.  But I would be willing to go far north if necessary – all the way to Acworth (I can stop at other places along the way).  Any info would be appreciated!  I found some Target Qs for bacon and cheese today and Publix has the bacon on sale.

      • Iam2crystal

You can call the day before the sale starts….it takes about 3 days for it to get there so the sale will definitely still be “On”…you usually on pre-order the FREE stuff or the items that will earn you money…like the COMBAT deal that was listed above.  And you usually Pre-Order 5-20 of these items or however many you need…..if you need more than the amount of coupons you have then check ebay(dot)com to order a large amount of coupons.  Then your coupons should be in the same time your Publix order is in.  Hope this helps you understand why we do this.  Happy Saving!

    • Angie8220

There is also a $3 off purex coupon in the same coupon insert.

      • SchoonCR

        Which insert?

Wasn't sure who you were replying to.

    • Lynneskitchen

Marie's dressing also on sale 2/ $4 and maries yogurt dressing is BoGo! Printable Q's out there for $1 off any Maries product and $1 off Maries yogurt dressing make for $.60- $.65 dressing in B'ham stores!

      • Where'd you find that $1 off any Maries product?  The best I could find was $1.50/2 and their Ranch dressing is the only I will buy (ok I will buy Marzetti if I have to).

        Please help.  Thanks! :-)

    • Linda

I am traveling to Tennessee soon — Do they double coupon there?? I live in North Florida and we do not. Thanks.

      • couponing rocks!

        Yes, in Chattanooga they do

      • Kratie00

In Middle TN (near Nashville) they do, not sure about anywhere else…

    • Amanda Leach

I wish they would put the Back To Nature stuff on B1G1 again…I LOVED that granola Chocolate Delight. Of course, i'd need the coupon again. LOL. I have wanted to buy it since but havent' wanted to pay $4 for a bag…Cheapest I can find it is through an Amazon subscribe service for $19, free shipping on 6 packs and they will ship them out at regular intervals..Think i might do that though it puts it at $3.15 a pack…Still cheaper.

      • That stuff is my crack.  I love it stirred into vanilla Stoneyfield yogurt.  *drool*

        • NewMommy2

Its really good in Yoplait strawberry yogurt!!! I stocked up and got 4 bags when they were BOGO! :)

      • Tmuscianese

Unfortunatly Publix is no longer accepting the whole foods coupoons so it will be just a B1G1 deal

        • Jenny

Thats only true for some publix.  Winter Park, FL Publix (next to a whole foods) is taking whole foods coupons.  The ban on whole foods qs only applies to Publix stores that do not have a Whole foods within five miles.  HTH

      • Tmuscianese

Unfortunatly Publix is no longer accepting the whole foods coupoons so it will be just a B1G1 deal

      • Cayoung_8

ohhhh I got some of that on the last BOGO sale in it was my first time getting it so I just got 2 bags… totally in love!  I put it in yogurt (which is free all the time so I should have bought more than 2 bags) but can’t wait for it to go BOGO again in another 2 months!

    • Ugh Jenny!  How dare you post a coupon that isn't in my inserts?  I am just going to die because I can't buy my Morton Season Salt!!!

Just Kidding Miss Jenny!  Thank you and love you for all you do and so appreciative for all of the savings I do have! :-)

p.s.  Let's keep things in perspective people.  If you miss a couple of deals just be grateful for all the ones you DO get!

      • And for heaven's sake don't blame poor Jenny.  It isn't her fault if your ad doesn't have a coupon, the printables run out, someone clears the shelf, etc.  Every week people fuss at Jenny for things that AREN'T HER FAULT and I get tired of reading it.  I can't imagine how she feels!

        • Iam2crystal

If I can't find a coupon I search for it on ebay(dot)com ….if I want to be sure the items I need in the Amounts I need are on the shelf I call my Publix and Pre-Order everything I need….this usually comes in about 3 days and I will get a call to go pick up my order…this way I'm not having to rush out on the morning of the sale hoping the shelf hasn't been cleared.

    • uagirl

I had some trouble getting the Lysol Touch Free soap deal.  Cashier (who was Cust. Service Mgr.) only wanted to let me use one of the $3 off coupons.  After bringing out my copy of their coupon policy, he suddenly changed his tune and scanned my coupon.

    • Kandell83

The Simple Summer Pleasures Q's are Publix Q's and therefore can be stacked with mans. For example, the Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Dough will be .33 for 2 packs which is much better than the .71 for 1! I guess Jenny entered them in as Manufacture Q's instead of Store.

      • Angela

I think the simple summer pleasures ones are manufacturer–they have a barcode on the back of them. I was checking out with the manager of my Publix and mistakenly thought the same as you since it said “redeem at Publix” and she corrected me. She let me use them, but let me know that they are considered manufacturer Qs.

        • Csing76

At the stores in charleston, SC they are considered publix coupons and I was able to use with a competitor or manufacture coupon

        • Sairy

My cashier in Greenville, SC said the same thing–they are manufacturer coupons even though they say “redeem at Publix.”  Is that unusual??

Store coupons have a LU# on them and usually not a barcode.

    • Anne

It would be nice to go to the websites and actually be able to print a coupon and not ge the message “coupon not available”.  Are people buying for themselves or stockpiling?  Very frustrating!

      • Cayoung_8

well don’t you stockpile for yourself?? I mean the point is to buy enough at the lowest price so you don’t have to go to the store and pay the full price… in doing this you have to buy multiples which means having to have multiple coupons, right?  This is how you get your most saving overall… although I miss out on coupons too… you just have to figure sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

    • Jrsygrl87

Does Publix in SC do double coupons? If so up to how much?

I couldn't find that information on thier website.

      • Missyturnerlee

        It does in Spartanburg, SC

        • Jrsygrl87

Whats the amount it will double up to?

      • Luv2save

yes, the Greenville area does, up to 50cent coupons will double.

      • Csing76

they double 50 cents or less

    • Gabriela

does anybody know how to get the free pampers wipes wyb pampers diapers publix coupon?

      Thank you!

      • Casey

it is probably a baby club coupon.

      • Csing76

it's in the sweet summer savings booklet at the service desk

    • jillyb

Anyone know if any of the Alpharetta stores (or surrounding areas) are still accepting Target coupons?  Found out yesterday that the Alpharetta Commons store ONLY accepts Krogers coupons now as a competitor.  Not surprised since I thought it was probably coming, but they went from taking almost any competitor to only one.

      • Krazyjay97

same here in Buford, but i heard at my store, someone sent an email to corporate Publix and they may now accept Target  Q's at my store soon

        • Ashley

omg!  Which publix in Burford?  I’m in Flowery Branch, but may make the drive for certain sale weeks.

      • Hbmurray

My Publix (Spalding Corners in Norcross) still accepts Target coupons as well as Whole Foods, Kroger and Ingles.

      • Megortiz63

the Publix at Johnson's Ferry is taking Target, and the new one on Peachtree in Buckhead – 2 doors down from my work (so excited, we go at lunch!!!) takes Kroger, Target, Fresh Market and Whole Foods. Very happy about the Whole Foods, they have a ton of store coupons on their site all the time!

      • Danelle

Mine (also in Alpharetta) used to take Target, Walgreens, etc. but now only takes Kroger as well.  It was explained to me that each store decides who their competitors are, based on proximity, and that they only consider grocery stores to be a competitor (so I guess Target coupons would count if there were a Super Target nearby).

      • JennM517

Go to your individual store and ask for a copy of their policy.  A couple of weeks ago the one I shop at (in Canton) handed me a policy paper specific to that store.  Mine accepts Kroger and Target coupons – there are both a Kroger and a Target within a short distance of that store.  I guess they'll only take competitors' coupons if that competitor is reasonably close by, so each store may vary.  I put the little paper in my coupon wallet so if I get any static at the register, I can pull it out to show them.

      • Chris

Agreed with everyone else who has replied – go to your store and ask.  One store close to me takes Kroger, Whole Foods, and Fresh Market (no WF or FM close by at all) and the other store close to me only takes Kroger.  I have checked and there is one in Mableton that also takes Target so if they have something on sale that I have Qs for and Target Qs then I may make a special trip (not that far but far enough to be out of the way).

    • WS1122

Is the $5 off $30 for the “before coupon” total?

      • Chris

        Yes – before Qs

      • Brooke Clark

It is! My total after coupons was about $16 before the $5 off and they took it off :-)

      • Cayoung_8

yeah just make sure to hand them that coupon first before your other coupons reduce your total.. remember this for CVS, Rite Aid also

    • Patmoose

Sometimes when I go  to one of the coupon websites, I get a 'stack overload” message and cannot print the coupons.  Does this happen to anyone else and is there a solution?  Thanks

    • C PEDSRN

Couldn't find 5$ off 30$ in AJC for Wed june 1st-in another paper or date?

      • Mrsp31 Ad

There was one in todays”s ABH

      • Michelle

There's a special booklet in the paper…the name of it is Summer Breakfast Sale, the coupon is on the back of it….there are two little girls crossing a wooden bridge. It has bright blue and orange lettering on it. It was just in the middle of my paper, and it's kinda thick paper it's printed on….if your paper has it, you shouldn't miss it.

    • Brooke Clark

Does anyone know where to find the Publix P & G flyer in Greenville, SC? I haven't been able to find it anywhere!

      • Amyo408

All I know is at the Wade Hampton Location and Thornblade location they have had all advantage flyers, coupons etc behind Customer Service. They are no longer with the ads ( I guess people taking too many I dunno) .

I did get the 5 off 30 today in the weekly ads they drop off in your driveways I was shocked it was in there!!

        • Brooke Clark

Thanks! I got one of the 5 off 30's too! Apparently the Greenville Publix's have new coupon policies because so many people have been using the Yellow and Green flyers in bulk. The cashiers want all of the coupons up front so they can make sure you don't have more “coupons than items.” Apparently some people had tried that and the cashiers had put in too many of the store coupons per each transaction. I'll check the cunstomer service desk! Thanks again!

        • Anonymous

The Thornblade one as in the Parkway one? I sure hope not, I go there a lot.

      • Ashley

Are you talking about the June P&G Publix Ad?  I've been looking for them in Gainesville, GA and havnen't seen it eitehr.

    • Cachmel

I went to my publix today to take advantage of the Frosted Flakes B1G1 and they made me aware they didn't have that promotion going on.  Does it start tomorrow? I am also wondering how much everyone saves every week. I just started using southern savers for Publix and I have gone twice and have save $27 each time, which has been about a 35% savings. I feel like I may be doing something wrong because it seems like everyone else saves more than 45% or more.

      • Merobertson

you just have to give it time, you are missing lots of coupons, & you need to get your coupon stash going, you will get there!

      • CCShad

Hang in there.  The key is to only buy items when they are on sale using coupons.  You will build a stock pile and add to it each week.  You don't have to stock pile like the people on reality TV, just enough for your family to get by until the next sale.
The sale starts tomorrow for some areas.

      • Iam2crystal

if my message post twice..appologies…didn't seem to go through last time….Try some scenarios to get money back like the COMBAT listed above…if your going to earn .19 cent for everyone you buy…then buy 5 and earn $1 towards your bill….Vitamins can sometimes earn you a $1 which is listed above as FREE (sundown vitamins) so buy a couple of these.  If you need more of these coupons to make it happen then order them on ebay(dot)com….My Publix will take save a lot coupons as competitor….and if you sign up at savealot(dot)com they will give you a $5 of $25 order to print out…this will go towards your total purchase.  Hope these scenarios will help reduce your grocery bill…I was saving 70 – 85% by my 2nd week…but I seperate my shopping trips…one day for coupon day and another day for grocery day when I have no coupons or sales “but I need it anyway”…Happy Saving

      • Finding_bliss

Me too! I just did my first shop and saved $82 on $275. My kids told me I suck at couponing :( I really need this to work!

Not everything I had a coupon for was on sale, but with no stockpile and an empty pantry, I had to buy some stuff that wasnt already on sale.

        • Diana

Once you have been printing and clipping the coupons or collecting the weekly inserts from your papers for about 2 months, you will start getting most of the deals you want.  I used to get frustrated when making my list in Dec and Jenny would have a coupon from a Sept paper listed.  You will also get good at working scenarios out and train your brain to “deal” mode.  I spent 40.00 today and saved 145.00  If my non math brain can get it down, so can you.  HAPPY SHOPPING!

      • FreedomSpradley1

It takes a while before you really start seeing the savings because initially you are stocking up.  I started couponing last June and it took about 2 months before I started spending less per week than my pre-coupon days.  Although I was spending roughly the same amount to begin with I had way better and more stuff in my pantry.  Now I spend about half what I used to spend per week and we are always stocked with goodies!  It's worth the effort!

        • Cayoung_8

i remember when my sister first couponed and we werfe in aw of what she got for 70!  so we both got into it heavy and now we would be mad at ourselves if we spent over 20 for what she got that day… LOL… you learn more and more and get better at spotting deals on the fly.. and learn prices, etc.

      • Annie

Trying to figure this stuff out, too.  Told my friend that lives a couple hours away that the local Publix doesn’t double or accept Target coupons like hers and she said I should find a new grocery store to call home!  Called Publix to ask why this one is so different and they said south GA stores are in the Florida market.  At least we do get haf price BOGO!

Also, being new, it seems like there is a lag time of a few weeks between gettting Sunday coupons and seeing stores put those items on sale.

    • tink71

are these deals for the ad that starts on 6/1 or 6/2? or last weeks?

    • bhanville

How does the Jala come out to .49 to .99?  Am I missing something?  The coupon is only .50, right?

      • it doubles at most stores

        • sam

oh…no doubles at any stores in my area (central FL)  :(

        • Annie

Not in south or coastal GA…. doubles happen middle GA and northward.

      • Jenblack2003

The Jala is actually bogo 3.99 making it 1.99 b4 coupons or .99 after.

      • Mamaberry

didnt find it either.  Think it's gone already… lmk if you find it!!

    • angela

I had a B1G1 coupon for degree premium deoderant & 2-$1 off coupons (exp 6/3 I think) and got two for $0.25 each.  Regular price $4.49 each. FYI

      • Dittob

Thanks Angela! Were the $1 off coupons manufacturers or store? If they were manufacturer coupons you're not supposed to use both in addition to the B1G1 free coupon. You could use one, though, and that's still a good deal. That would make it $3.49 for 2.

    • Annie Grey

Don't know if someone already posted about this as there are over 350 comments already, but thought I'd let you know that there are more coupons available for Coffee Mate Creamer, which make it a good deal:
      Priced $1.50
      – $1/2  Manufacturer Q (found on dispenser on cooler door)
-$1/2 Target Q (as of this writing, still had prints available)

I think that $.75 for Coffee Mate creamer is a pretty good deal!!!

      • Iam2crystal

I saw the same scenario for the Dean's Dip 12oz …there was a Target Q 1/2 so this made the dip .50cent each if both coupons were used

      • Katie

What is the zip for hte target Q? I can't find it. THanks

    • Niki

Where do you get the tear pad coupons from? Also how do you get the Advantage Flyers for publix?? I am just starting out at this.

      • Amyo408

Some Publix has them near the doors with their weekly ads however I have noticed this week and last they were not there. I had to ask customer service and they had them behind the desk. They handed me tons of coupons!!! More than just the Advantage Flyers.

      • The tear pads are in the store, on the shelf next to/in front of the item the coupon is for. As for the flyers and other coupon books, some stores put them out with the ads, some are behind the service desk. Just ask!

      • Chris

And with tearpads some stores have them and some do not – same with blinkies (coupon dispensers).  I may go to one Publix and they have these tearpads shown on the site here but the other store may not.

    • Jenkins3709

how does the publix sale work if the item is bogo and you have a bogo coupon for the same item? How many can you get and what do you pay? Please tell me!! thanks

      •  It depends. In Florida where you must buy two items for the BOGO, you buy two items and use the BOGO coupon and effectively get both for free. If you are at a store where each item is half price, you buy two items, each is charged half price and the BOGO removes one of the half price things. Therefore you get two items for half the price of one item.

    • sam

how does the child hunger ends here coupon work?  Is there a code I need?

      • Mimimacmac

there is a code on the back of the healthy choice boxes that you use. when you put in the code it makes a donation and you get a coupon.

    • Abbielou02

Not a great experience at Publix today :( Almost out of Everything I needed! Very frustrating considering I got there at 3pm the day the ad started! I thought I would get everything I needed… Oh well. I will just have to be happy with what I did get!
did see Colgate Toothpaste for $1.99 and attached to the box was a .50 off Now Coupon making it .99! I know a lot of you get TP for free, But I don't seem to ever get the TP coups in my paper, So this was good for me!
Thanks for ALL you do Jenny! This site ROCKS!

              Thanks for your help!

    • angela

I don't know how B1G1 free coupons work w/ a B1G1 sale.  The Degree deoderant I bought was not on sale.

      • Cayoung_8

it works best if you’re in FL but if you’re in GA then each item will ring up at half price. so let’s say what you’re buying is normally 4.00.  If you are in GA then they will ring up 2.00 each so your coupon would deduct 2.00 for the ‘free” item leaving you to pay 2.00 for both items or 1.00 each.  If you are in FL then the first one rings up at 4.00 and the second on rings up at 0.  The coupon will attach to the item with the price so then they would both be free…

    • Just wanna say about the Combat.  At the Publixs in my area, I have used the $2 printable or the $1 tear off Q as well as the $3 Q from Publix and received an overage of  either 31 cents or $1.31. (If you purchase the Combat  for $3.69

    • millie

the $5 off $30 was in the Montgomery Advertiser today!

    • Missyturnerlee

Publix has the best ad this week. Kinda dreading going. I used to love it but my Publix isn't friendly to couponers anymore. Right before the change in policy one girl working there was warning me and was critical of me getting 9 boxes of brownie mix, saying, “Do you really need NINE?” That was the most of anything I bought and it was a brand w/o milk in it so my son with a milk allergy can eat it. I don't buy more than 5 or six of most things and not that many on most. I don't pitch fits and my coupons are valid but since then the cashiers have each said something rude to me. Even the managers are snippy when they see I have coupons. And I've never needed the manager to override ANYTHING. Hope my trip this week is kind.

      • tina

you should email corporate because they should be happy that you are shopping there and keep their attitudes about couponers to themselves.  i am sorry to heart that and i completely understand though.  i too do not buy 3 and 4 cases of items every week but i only have one manager at my publix that is rude so i just do not deal with him.  is there another publix you could go to?  i hate that their attitudes take all the fun out of all the money you save.  hang in there!!!

        • Missyturnerlee

The one I go to is 17 minutes for my house. The other is about half and hour and twice the distance. That's just it. I'm driving to the other side of town to grocery shop. I used to never do that. My Publix is on the “Rich” side of town. I don't think couponers are who they market to. The people in there shopping are wearing dresses and heals to grocery shop at 10 in the morning. I used to work at a gourmet grocery story in that area years ago and that crowd doesn't want to stand next to “average” people.

          • Chris

Yeah well – that cashier needed to keep her comments to herself.  If you're within the policy and not asking for anything special then what's it to her how many of something you buy?  I would email or call Corporate – from what I understand they come down HARD on stores where they have customer service issues (since that's Publix whole selling point – pay a little more but at least you'll enjoy shopping with us).

      • Finding_bliss

My store manager is a couponer so she is very helpful! Thats terrible that yours are so rude! I agree you need to complain!

      • Cayoung_8

I hate it when cashiers feel the need to give you their opinion.  its really none of their business… my parents own a steakhouse and it would be like me saying to a customer who orders a steak “do you know how bad red meat is for you?” who cares it's their business… I am there to take their order and give them what they want… I get so sick of *some* cashiers having to say things about couponers.. argh!

    • Landrethelaine

Went “dumpster diving” for the first time today.  LOL!  Spent about 8 minutes there.  Was able to take what I found and went to Publix.  I got $50 worth of stuff for $2.77!!  All stuff that my family will use, and different things, not just a ton of the same item.

      • Ashley

How did you find a dumpster to go to?  The only newspaper dumpster I can find in my area is gated and a guard sits at the gate.  I asked if I could collect old newspaper inserts and he said no.

        Any ideas?

        • Contact your local paper route runner.  Lots of times they have extra paper's at the end of their shift that the company ends up recycling.  A lady in our neighborhood meets our local paper boy and collects his trash at the end of his shift.

        • Sscarborough

That is sad since the point should be to lessen waste….not guard garbage.

          • Chris

You know?  I was thinking the same thing – what a waste of money to pay someone to sit and guard garbage.

          • Chris

You know?  I was thinking the same thing – what a waste of money to pay someone to sit and guard garbage.

      • Hope you don't live in Georgia.  Rummaging through public or private trash is considered “Theft by Taking” and you can be fined or even arrested if caught.  Hate to be a party pooper, but I wanted you to know.  Make sure you research your state laws to ensure your safety!

        • Chris

What county do you live in?  I can't imagine a cop who would enforce that – how ridiculous!  I was thinking about checking the recycling dumpster (newspaper only) at the middle school across the street from me but not if I'm going to be arrested!  Maybe I'll check with Smyrna city police first.

Don't they have something better to do, and REAL crime to prevent, with my tax dollars?

          • Not sure how much they enforce it, but it is a state bylaw.  I’d just hate to be doing it on the day they decide to.

Technically it is considered stealing. Seems like a real crime to me. I’d report someone in a heart beat if I found them digging through my trash.

            • Chris

Through your trash sure!  That’s awful.  But through a public dumpster like the one across the street from me at the middle school how bad is that?  In fact, knowing they have it I may start taking my recycling paper over there instead of our bins at my townhouses.

            • Sscarborough

Wow….that is coupon dedication…to go thru a trash area.  I think I’d offer to give them a meal and tell them I’ll set things to the side for them so they don’t have to dig in my garbage.

          • Debbie Parnell

We live in Spartanburg County South Carolina.  It is enforced here.  The  people who run the recycling centers will absolutely not let you go into the recycling bins.

    • Cori C.

I finally got my $5/30 Publixcoupon today. I went to three different stores for a newspaper and they were all out BUT at the last store the owner gave me his own personal paper otherwise I wouldn't have gotten one. :)  He saves a Sunday paper for me every week, too! because it's gotten to where my area stores are sold out before lunch on Sunday.  Thank you convenience store buddy :) He's great but it's ridiculous that I should have to go to that length just to get a darn newspaper!

      • JennM517

You could subscribe to the paper…most major papers have just a Sunday-only option.

    • Diana

The Freschetta pizzas were 5.00 at my store last week but went up to 6.65 this week. Is that a regional thing or did everyone's increase?  I think they were on sale last week the way the DGiorno's are this week.

    • Wooburne1

I manage a convenience store and yesterday we put up our new sales sign. There was a tear pad for $1 off any 1 hot pockets. Take it to Publix and get your for .67 cents. So, I took a few for myself.

Florida Publix coupon policy has changed yet again. They are only accepting 1 Publix coupon per customer per order. You can have 500 items to purchase but can only use 1 Publix coupon.

      • Tfields1618

where in florida? here in ft myers. they are taking morethan one publix coupon but only one of each kind of publix coupon.

      • Lwhetzel624

we are not having that problem in orlando, sorry to hear that

      • Mrs. B

Here in South Florida (Pembroke Pines) they are accepting more than one Publix coupon also but it cannot be for the same item. So for example, if you wanted to buy  4 of the Freschetta Pizza's you can only use (1) of the $1/2 Publix coupons..not 2. I hope our Publix does not change that.

      • Sharrona

it depends on what the coupon says, some say one per purchase, others say one per customer you have to read them, if it is one per purchase (item) you can use as many as you buy

      • aly

thats really nothing new it clearly states on the publix coupons 1 coupons per customer thay just didnt really enforce it till now

        • No, it states one per purchase.
I've got an email from corporate that states that in the past some stores would let people use one publix coupon on 10 items. Now, if you have 10 items, you need 10 publix coupons.
That's the only thing that changed.

      • aly

thats really nothing new it clearly states on the publix coupons 1 coupons per customer thay just didnt really enforce it till now

Publix in Kingsland does not double.  :(

        • Lindaschulz1

          brunswick GA does.

      • Anne

Valdosta, Thomasville, Leesburg and Albany do not double.  They are in Florida markets for some odd reason.  Columbus, Warner Robins and north are Atlanta market stores and most there do double.  Wouldn't think Brunswick would since it is coastal GA and the rest of south GA doesn't, but Lindaschulz1 says they do.

    • sargent

the purex that is 150 oz couldnt you use the $3 off coupon?

      • Kristin

Yes you can.  I did that.

    • Lsilva23fl

How do I print a coupon from the “Child Hungar Ends Here” site. The Chef Boyardee has an option to print and it leads to the hungar website, but I can't figure out where to print a CP. I have come across this on a few printables.

      • Lwhetzel624

if you have a chef boyardee at home already the have codes on the back of the can. When i put the code in at the hunger site it printed them, you can put the code in several times and it will print more than one

    • guest

I have two questions.  1.  I went into publix about a week ago and there were general mills store coupons for $2 off a box.  Does anyone know if these are still available?
      2.  I have never seen any of the green or yellow flyers.  I noticed under the yellow advantage deals that the Bailey's coffee creamer is $1.66.  There doesnt look like there is a store coupon to go with it.  Do I need to find a flyer to get this price or will it automatically ring up for $1.66?

      • Csienk

You have to ask for them at the customer service desk,

      • Winareed

The general mills store coupons have expired.  You don't need a flyer to get
that price, it will automatically ring up, but if you have any coupons for that
item, you can use them and get a better deal!!

    • Jbm0771

The Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch system for $11.99 isn't a traditional BOGO – You pay $11.99 (not 1/2 for just one). You use a store coupon after paying full price for the first one.Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap System, $11.99

B1G1 Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch, (Publix Coupon), Yellow Advantage Flyer

-$3 off Lysol Healthy Touch Hand Soap System starter, (sign in) printable

(buy (2), use store and (2) $3 off, makes it $2.99 ea.)

      • Dixiegirl2777

        So how does that work?

    • Stacy Erb

Does anyone know how I can get the conagra discover family home mailer?

      • Danyeln

It was a rebate item from January or February.  You had to spend so much on ConAgra products then send iin your receipts to get the booklet mailed to you.  The coupons in the booklet expire 6/30 so a new one should be available soon.

    • Peggy

I printed the Voskos yogurt coupon for zip code 80111 but it says redeem at King Soopers.  It does have a “5” at the front of the code.  Will Publix accept that?

      • Chris

As long as it says “Manufacturer Coupon” on it then Publix will take it.  I used the ICBINB Q from coupons dot com that said VONS on it and they had no issue because it was a manuf Q (it still scanned).

        • Peggy

    • Lmg1922

Not sure if jenny listed this ( i looked over the BOGO and didnt see it there) but just wanted to let you know that my publix in n. fl has Maries yogurt dressings BOGO for $3.39 and there is a $1 off coupon on the bottles so its end up being around 70 cents for each and they are really good!

    • Trw79

Not sure if this will hold true for every store but @ my Publix the Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap System, rang for $8.99 instead of $11.99. Even better, they rang up automatically for the BOGO price, @ $4.49 each. Then the cashier still used the BOGO coupon from the Yellow Flyer & my (2) $3.00 off coupons, so I made $1.50 off of them!! Being the honest couponer that I am, I told the cashier not to use the BOGO coupon since they rang up BOGO but she said if the register takes it, it was OK:) Happy me!!  Walked out the store with (4) Skippy PB's & (2) Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap Systems for $1.48!! A total savings of $32.46!

      • Chris

You know I've been told that before too – if the computer takes it then they are good to go.  But not all cashiers are so “easy” to deal with like that.  Good for you!

      • darbe

lucky you, where are you at? In my store in central FL they were $11.99, darn

    • Yoplait has some new printables on coupons.com now.

And our Publix did not have the Perogies on sale… must be a regional deal.

Also the printable coupon for the fiber one bars is now a .75 off Fiber One brownie bars which our store did not have yet.

    • Grnacrz

Suave Lotion Coupon doesn't seem to be available!

    • Barry

Does anyone know on the Cesar Canine Cuisine 3.5 oz, 70¢ if I have 2 of the BOGO coupons how that would work?  Would I buy one and get 2 free?

      • FreedomSpradley1

You would have to buy 4 and get 2 free.

    • Cnc76

On the 7-UP 6pk at $3 I have the B2G1 Yellow Advantage store coupon and a B2G1 man. coupon from a tearpad.  Using both of them, could I buy 3 for $1 each?

      • Ctkennington

        yes, I did this yesterday

        • Cnc76

      • Frugalbee

        It worked for me :o)

    • germangirl

Has anyone tried to print the Jala Frozen Joghurt coupon? It's gone, where did it go? I just printed it yesterday.

      • ireneY

I think they took it down! If you downloaded it yesterday, you may still have the 9.8MB PDF file to reprint from.

        • germangirl

I do, I just found it. Does that mean they're still good to use?

          • ireneY

The expiration isn't until 6/30/2011, so use 'em if you got 'em! If Jala wanted full control of Q distribution, they would have used a coupons dot com format.

          • Meg

If you wouldn't mind, can someone email me the Jala .pdf? My email is lostinvein@yahoo.com  Thanks!!!

            • Emily

Did someone email it to you?  If so, would you share?

            • Megan M

I’d love the Jala pdf file too:  glueandglitter@yahoo.com

    • Amanda

Where do you go to on Voskos facebook page to find the coupon? Thanks!

      • Peggy

The $1 facebook coupon has expired.  I think you can still get the 0.75 coupon.  See Jenny's link by Voskos in the ad.

    • Stacy8163

Has anyone else had trouble using more than one of the Jala coupons?  My store said I could only use one at a time bc they had the same numbers like they were copied.  (I did not/do not ever copy any coupons.)  I printed two like usual.  They said they would accept them this time.  How embarrassing to have to deal with this and have people give me dirty looks.

      • Chris

The barcode will always be the same – that's how they're readable by the system. It's the Veri-fi code they should be looking at if you printed them online.  Most Qs printed online have a veri-fi code in the top right of the body of the Q that can be checked.  If it doesn't match another Q then it is unique – and if in doubt they can always look online to confirm that the Q is valid.

        • Sscarborough

thanks for the info….I wondered about that since I knew you could use two coupons on a BOGO and didn't know the difference between two prints and a print & a copy….now as to how to print two copies????

          • Chris

For bricks Qs when the first one finishes just click the back button two or three times (depending on your browser version) and it will run back through the process.  For SmartSource Qs you have to go back and pick the Q again and then print.  For Coupons dot com Qs do the same thing – print one or one set and when it finishes go back and select them again.  On Facebook you can unlike someone that you had to like to get the Q then go to another computer and like them again to get the Q (as a lot of them lately have only allowed one print from Facebook).

I have 7 machines (one of which has 11 virtual machines on it) so I have been able to usually get as many as I could possibly need/use.  I went overboard once when that pasta was free at Kroger and gave all of it away.  But if you have access to 2 or 3 computers you should be able to get several Qs at a time.  The code still ends up being unique per print and per machine.

      • ireneY

Obviously, the training they've gotten tells them about coupons dot com and smartsource IPs, but not PDF Qs from the manufacturer. Tell them it was from the Jala website. At the very least, you should be able to use one at a time. Just make more trips?!

        • PJ

Or maybe just “Hold you're head up high” but don't give them a dirty look back.  Being rude to the cashiers will not help anyone.

      • germangirl

I just used 4 of them today without any problems.

      • Cayoung_8

it was a pdf coupon so they will all be the same no matter what… that's one thing they're not taking into account and then they act like you're a criminal or something.. ugh…. I understand that they are trying to cut down on fraudulant use, but most of us are doing it the legit way…and its upsetting when you have a plan and it gets dashed.

      • jennaj81

I used 10 tonight with no problems. Every store (and cashier) is different.

    • Ems5594

Okay so silly me only picked up two snaffles and forgot about it being buy TWO get one free. If I take my receipt in will they give me the free one, or is it a lost cause?

      • Chris

Go in to Customer Service and ask.  What's the worst they say – no?  But most stores I've been to have been really good about stuff like that (like if I forget to use a Q I just go to cust svc and they give me the money back).

        • Sscarborough

I agree and our customer svc used to be great about that too but be ready for the “no” as I was told that they will only take coupons at the time of purchase

      • Mama Jen

They let me get my free one a few weeks ago on soda becasuse I thought it said b1g1.  Since I had my receipt that showed I bought 2 she let me get my free one.

      • lauren

A couple weeks ago I had a huge trip where I also did the sun chips and sierra mist deal and I wasn't paying attention and grabbed my free 7 sierra mists from coupons and forgot they were bogo.. I realized it a few hours later, took my receipt up to customer service and told them my mistake and they let me go get my other 7 free 2 liters :) Publix has awesome customer service, I'm sure they'll let you get them!

    • Heather

Just came back from Publix in FL. They would not accept any doubles of printable coupons if the barcode or numbers? were the same. This totally messed up my totals and took me by surprise since this is the first time I have heard of this. I had a lot of printabe's this time too.

      • reteach

If you print a fresh coupon each time the bar code changes.  Most sites will let you print 2 coupons and each will have a different barcode.

If coupons are photo copied the bar codes will be the same. It is not legal to copy coupons.  If you look at the very small print which becomes the line to cut on, it identifies the IP address of the computer the coupon was printed on and it makes it trackable.  That may have been the problem.

        • Chris

The barcode and veri-fi code are two different things.  The barcode is the same on all of them.  Look at your printed Qs and you'll see the barcode matches (the one in the lower left that they actually scan).  The veri-fi code (top right usually) is what will be different.  The first 4 numbers of that code will be the same for all Qs printed from a particular machine but the next 12 digits are not (4 groups of 4 digits).

          • Heather

well my cashier was looking at the barcode, and i didn't get to use most of them. I print 2 at a time, like most of us. Ive never copied a coupon ever. It was just something that caught me by surprise.

            • Couponpatsy

I had a cashier to refuse to use some of my coupons and then proceeded to wad them up and throw them in the trash because she THOUGHT  I had photocopied them.   I ask for them back,  went home and emailed corp.  I got a phone call from that stores mgr,  he even looked up the incident on the recorded video tape to verify my story.  I got a huge apology and a $25 gift card!!

        • Cayoung_8

not necessarily true… I had a problem with a coupon that I KNOW THAT I PRINTED MYSELF LEGALLY and all the codes were the same.  I printed 2 from my computer and 2 from my mom's computer at a completely different house and all 4 coupons had same pin!

          • cathy

If it is a .pdf file coupon, all the numbers will be the same.  But you should still be able to us as many as you want.

          • Couponpatsy

I have done the same thing………there are coupons that print EXACTLY the same !!

    • reteach

Yes Chris…you are right…I did not mean the barcode, I meant the “dot code” at the top right of most coupons.  That is what thy will look at to see if it is the same on the 2 coupons.  The barcode does identify the item not if the coupon is “legal”.

      • Chris

S'ok!  I would suggest to Heather to educate your cashier and show them which is which so they know next time.  Some people just don't know the difference.  I wonder how that cashier would respond if you tried to use 10 of the same Q from a flyer like SmartSource – would those all be copies too?  LOL

    • lost couponer

I like shopping at Publix. I feel the company helped families during a very difficult period in life (recession).  It's hard getting used to the new changes with coupons but I am willing to work through the changes because they helped so many people.

    • Mi

Can't you use the $3 coupon for that Purex?

      • Mel

Yes you can, the coupon states for 150 ounces.Suprised that coupon was not mentioned.

      • Kayce_marie

yes you can use the $3 off

      • FreedomSpradley1

If you don't need it now wait on laundry detergent.  Often you can get it for around $1 per bottle.  And the $3 coupon is very common and will come out again!

    • Kelvin701

      Question on  Lysol Healthy Touch
It's $11.99 per unit.   I have the following Qs
1 – BOGO Publix Q from Yellow Flyer
1 – $3 off Publix Q from Sweet Summer Savings Booklet
      2 – $3 off one (Mfr Q)

Shouldn't I be able to use all 4 coupons and total of $2.99 plus taxes?  My store said I can only use 2 mfg + one Publix BOGO.  They don't Iet me use $3 off Publix Q from Sweet Summer Savings Booklet.   Are they right?

      • $12 each – bogo coupon  ($6) makes them 6 each.
Subtract $3 mfr makes it $3.
Use one BOGO and one $3 for each – so you need 2 mfr coupons.

You have to use the bogo or the $3 summer savings, you can't use 2 store coupons.

      • Syrivera9

I don't see the problem with this.  I did it today at Publix and had no isseus.  In my mind you are only usuing one publix coupon per item.  I don't understand why this would be a problem.

    • Toni

I tried to get the Dove bars today and they didn't ring up as BOGO? Anyone else have this problem?

      • Wooburne1

It's not the dove bars. It's pints beside the Ben & Jerry's

    • AlisaN.

So angry! I used my (2) $3 off Q's for John Frieda products last week! Boo.

    • Mimimacmac

This may have been addressed already sorry if it is a repeat. I know with the Lysol Hand Soap deal I buy (2) and use (1) B1G1 store coupon and (2) $3 off manu coupon and I understand the math. Is the Axe deal different. Because to get my math to come up to 1.14 each like posted I would need to buy (2) and use (1) B1G1 and (1) $1 off store coupon. Is that correct or can I do the Axe the same as the Lysol and if so wouldn't that make them $0.65?

      • softballmom

The two deals work differently because of the type of coupons you are using.  For the Lysol Hand Soap deal you are using a B1G1 Store coupon so you can still use (2) $3 off manu coupons (1 manu coupon per item).  For the Axe deal, you are can only use (1) $1 off store coupon because Publix only allows (1) like store coupon per transaction i.e. you CAN NOT use (2) of the same store coupons in one transaction.  If you had a $1 off manu coupon on the Axe then that could be used in conjuction with the B1G1 manu coupon so long as the B1G1 coupon does not start with a 14.  HTH!  A little confusing to explain!

    • Asolstice06

I live in North GA. What paper is the $5 off $30 coupon in? Thanks!

      • Chris

In Atlanta it was in both the AJC and MDJ (Marietta Daily Journal) yesterday (Wednesday).  I think the MDJ office would still have papers.

      • Savinlotsamoney

I’m in South GA, Savannah.  I found it in last Wednesday’s Penny Saver.  If you aren’t familiar with that, it’s the free paper you can get at gas stations or conveinence stores.

    • wendy

there is also a  hebrew national coupon in the June All You magazine.  $1 off any TWO beef franks.

    • jennaj81

just a heads up, on the B3G2 12-pks soda deal above the Publix coupon for free chips will not work with it. the coupon is for 2L bottles not 12-pks.
also, the Nature's Own bread on BOGO is Whitewheat only. I was bummed.

    • jennaj81

Crystal Light BOGO includes the Pure variety! I'm so excited since all the recent sales have not included this kind. Great for those of us who do not want artificial sweeteners. I had some of the $1 off coupons that were out for print recently (can't remember where, FB maybe) and got 4 for $0.49 each! BTW Ingles 3/$5 sale also includes the Pure kind, but costs a tiny bit more.

    • brenda

Today while shopping at Publix I encountered a “new” policy, apparently if the coupon states “one coupon per purchase” even on newspaper coupons they must be done in separate transactions. To make a long stoy short, I ended up doing 8 separate transactions for butter! While the manager and cashier were both very accomadating and helpful, I'm still a little baffled by companies trying to limit couponing by misinterpreting “one per purchase” to mean “one per transaction”. Has anyone else had problems with this? The store manager said that it was passed down to them by corporate this week.

      • Val

I think the cashier and manager were just confused. If it happens again I'd contact the DM so they can clarify things to the employees at this store.

      • Laura

Next time explain to cashier and manager that one coupon per purchase is just what it says 1 coupon per item purchased.  One coupon per purchase is not the same as one coupon per order or one coupon per transaction.  Call corporate if they give you further trouble after that.

      • Amy

i don't have a publix but i have had the same issue at Walmart and Save A Lot. I had all of my groceries scanned and she was going to take all the q's off at the end. I had to unpack the cart and let them void the items and check out 8 different times. Very frustrating!!

    • Kb

ok, I dont have time to read if this question has been asked,,,,,,but can you freeze the crystal farm egg whites in a box? 1$ a box seems like a superb price and I woudl like to get several, or should they just stay unopened in the fridge? THANKS!

      • i freeze egg beaters… work fine.

        • Kb

          THANK YOU!!!!

      • margieinKwd

I freeze them all the time, works fine.

    • Makarena24

Publix changed their policy and their attitude!! Now they demand coupond before they scan. THe stagger then accross the register and read one by one and compare it to the item in question.  Check out is a real nightmare.

      • Grnacrz

That happened to me last week at the Publix in Spartanburg, SC.

      • Jbm0771

I work at Publix and this has to be a store by store thing .. they are more diligent on the coupon policy because it has been abused by people who give a stack of coupons at the end of the transaction AFTER everything has been bagged and try to use coupons for items that they did not purchase. Cashiers are being held accountable so thats why we are being more cautious.

Think about what you would do, is it worth losing your job so someone else can save a few extra dollars? If you get a cashier that is unfriendly because you have coupons, report it to customer service or a manager or even call corporate to complain.

        • Chris

Or offer to help them and explain why you would rather wait until the end and help them identify the items from the bags.  Make it easier on them and they'll make it easier on you.  That's what I do – I hold them until the end and explain why (because I've been stiffed too many times so I'd rather watch them be scanned at the end so I can keep track) plus I stand and pull stuff out of the bags so they can see the item and how many.  Most cashiers I check-out with appreciate it and then the next time they are easier to work with on my Qs and it doesn't take so long.

      • Mandy

That happened to me at Publix Five Forks in Greenville. It was really nuts. She had them spread out everywhere with no real order and would pick them up and put them back down all scattered about with no system, mixing together those she had scanned and those she hadn't. Sometimes she would match them to the wrong thing and scan them at the wrong time. I think it all worked out at the end, but I wanted to put it out of my mind, so I didn't look too closely.

The next time I wanted to organize my items on the belt so I could hand the coupons as the items scanned, but a different cashier insisted on unloading my cart and shooed me out of the way. I got trapped between the cart and the next register over while my items were scanned and quickly bagged. I am going to have to get a better system for checking out the next time I go to Publix. Has anyone tried putting the coupon on top of the item?

        • Bkbbmullins

I was told at my Publix here in Bluffton, SC, that coupons MUST be done at the end of the order, they CANNOT be done item by item.  This was told to my cashier by a member of management who happened to be bagging my order.  She explained to her that since the new policy went into place this is how they must be done now.  I'm like you, I like it to be organized and I get flustered when they spread them all over.  But I believe most times it does work out in the end.

      • sarahm

Wow, mine always ask for them at the end… but since the policy changes, I do all my coupon stuff at U-scan… unfortunately, only one of the publix stores I visit has it.

    • Heather

Anyone have the page number on this?  I can't find it in my copy.
-$1 off Mrs. T’s Pierogies, March Martha Stewart Living magazine

      • Brooke

I can't find it in my copy.  There is a little blurb about the pierogies on page 174… but I have gone through the March issue with a fine toothed comb and cannot find the coupon either!

      • Morgan

I found mine in the Everyday Food magazine, not the Living magazine.

    • Bgraff01

can't find the $1 off Silk coupon under 80111.

    • Lisab

my mother was told that the $5 off of $30 was AFTER coupons by the checker. I always use it as a coupon and give it first when my total is over $30…what can she do? Is it store by store or a corporate policy?

      • Grnacrz

That can't be right…did you talk to the manager?  I can't believe that would be their corporate policy.

      • Chris

That is incorrect and she should speak to a manager – I've never seen a store do that.  The $$ off $$ Qs are always before Qs are taken off (but do not include tax, gift cards, alcohol, or tobacco).  I do the same thing – use that Q first and then my reg Qs.

      • Valerie Parris

A cashier told me that it would work so long as the balance reached 30 before coupons, even if other coupons pushed it below 30

        • CouponKath

A customer service manager rang me up yesterday…your total needs to be BEFORE coupons.  Your checker was wrong.

    • Mkerryann35

Just wanted everyone to know on the Carnation Instant Breakfast at publix for $3.99. If you take a publix coupon ($1) and a manufacture printed coupon ($1.25) you get it for $1.74. Not a bad deal.

    • kjmiller

My Publix (in Lagrange ,GA) used to keep the yellow and green advantage fliers in the turnstile (not sure if that's what it's called..) in the entrance lobby. Last few visits, haven't seen them there, so today asked at customer service. I was given one, but asked for just one more (because I wanted two of the organic valley milks). The supervisor said “no, only one per customer!”. Since when? Is this part of the new policy? :(

      • Amyreese2010

I kind of like having them at the counter and only giving out one per customer.  then whenever i go in, i ask for one, and they actually have them!

        • Mandy

          Me, too!

        • kjmiller

I understand, but (from my experience, anyway) there's never been a problem with them running out at this location. There are usually tons even right up until the end of the sale period. *sigh**

Yeah one of the stores in my area does that too with all of their coupons. They even keep tearpads up there! It’s up to the store whether they decide to do that or not and I don’t go out of my way to visit that store!
IMO the Publix fliers really shouldn’t be limited; I’ve NEVER seen them out of them.

        • Chris

I think it may be a good idea in some stores.  I just found someone online (this weekend) SELLING the Publix Green Advantage flyer!  I mean come on!

And I’ve personally had the experience to go in and someone had removed all of the peelies off of a particular product as well as watched someone take several of the tearpad and blinkie Qs and not buy the product.  I mean I’ll grab one or two if the tearpad or blinkie is for something I’d buy and I know it will go on sale sometime but grabbing a handful is just rude.

Kellogg’s is having a Disney Pixar Cars 2 promotion on the back of specially marked cereal boxes….  I bought 4 boxes of frosted flakes and 4 boxes of rice krispis for $1.04 each after B1G1 and $1 coupons off each.  Then I pluggds in the codes from inside the boxes at their website (you can enter up to eight codes a day) http://cars2.kelloggs.com/loyalty_auth_codes?cid=p1core-tbx10.f.1800/b14b0/6b9/df644853.ff37d9872d4e0ce0355b47776c41a263
and ordered 2 FREE $5 gas cards.  Spent: $8.32, got $10 for gas….like getting paid $2 to take all those boxes of food home for free!

    • PublixCashier

everyone that has a question or complaint about the new policy, I work at Publix and have  for over 6 years. The policy is in place thanks to the customers that would come in and clear off the shelves as soon as the doors opened used coupons out of date, that did not match items that we even sold, and used too many coupons when they did not even have the amount of items. When it turned into a game for some people verse the actual use of the product then they had to step in. We also had customers selling the products at flee markets making a profit off of it. If you are an actual couponer and use the product for you and your family or to help others in need cashiers are more willing to work with you but when  you come in a abuse the system and talk down to the cashiers because they are doing their job we have every right to treat you the way you are treating us. We like seeing our customers save money and leave our store happy but we will not risk being suspended or fired so you can save a few bucks. We are human and have families to support as well not just you. I use coupons every week and I do shop my store I strongly dislike getting on here and you bad mouthing our store bc you did not get your way.

      • Richard in Woodstock, GA

I agree with you…..and these shows showing off super-couponers is what ruins it for those of us who just buy what we need and save money…….my personal (not)favorite is the woman who bought 120 bottles of mustard b/c she had a bunch of coupons (and left the shelf bare)….no wonder the grocery stores are revising their policies to combat these clowns…..please people, save money and be smart, but don't overdo it and give the rest of us a bad name

        • Chris

You know I saw that and couldn't believe that she was buying so many and her husband DIDN'T EVEN LIKE MUSTARD!  How can anyone use that much mustard before it even expires??  A complete waste – not surprising that the hoarders show comes on right after either.  Coincidence?  I think not.

      • darbe

I'm sorry did you just say you will treat your customers the way they treat you? You work in customer service with the public everyday and you have that additude, I'm surprised you have lasted 6 years. I work with the public in a hospital every day and I don't get to treat any patient differently just because they are cranky, every patient gets treated with the same level of respect regardless of additude.

        • Hate the Hoarders

Good for you publixcashier. You shouldn't have to be talked down upon by these greedy  hoarders! I work for a bank and if a customer comes into our office and starts making a fuss, we have evry right not to service them and we can even close out their account if they get out of hand.

      • Sscarborough

when i worked in customer service, i had to treat all customers with respect and kindness….even if they didn't treat me nicely
I do agree that cashiers are VIPs…. I always speak to them by name (if they have on a nametag), never talk on the phone as they are waiting on me, I don't give them a hard time for corporate policy, I've given dog food I was getting for “free” to the lady when she said she needed to get some while it was on sale, I've even gone so far as to bring in some books for one young man that I was planning to take to the used book store when he told me of his favorite author…all that to remind you that avid couponers can be very considerate and generous.
I've always thought of Publix as a place that assumes people are generally good natured and didn't try to punish us for the few that are bad or rule breakers….I've even joked about my couponing and said “I'm out to get a deal but I'm not willing to steal.”
I hope you will be able to view the people that are not nice as “needy” ….they need a smile, they need to be taught manners, they need more happiness, they need a deal, they may even be hungry or they may even be financially distraught….
remember kindness breeds kindness, in you and if you are lucky, in someone else

      • Mary

you better hope I don't secret shop your lane…….

    • Kward17

I cannot find the $1/2 coupon for the Ritz! Is it area code specific or something? If anyone else has been able to get this Q with not issue and could help me out that'd be awesome!

    • darbe

Just wondering if anyone else is being given a hard time using the save a lot coupon? One publix by me in central fl takes it and one publix fights me, I don't understand the difference. BTW the two stores are maybe two miles apart in palm bay

      • Sscarborough

ours will not take them…it isn't on the approved list that i was given
sadly the stores on the approved list rarely have coupons

      • sarahm

Do you have the list of approved stores? Mine had the list and policy sitting right at customer service last time I was there, it might be that one takes it and one doesn't.

      • Brandisbags

It's likely to be the distance…If the one store that except them is close to a Sav a Lot then they consider them to be a competitor.  If the one that doesn't accept them has no Sav a Lot around, then they don't consider them to be a competitor.

    • Tracybauld

Anyone know what is up with the Jala Bar link? thanks

      • kjmiller

          :(..i got a box and now i love them..one thing about q's that make experience different things..oh well..thanks !

    • guest

anyone know how much the purex is going for i dont see it on here . thanks

      • Beck

        It is $6.99 before coupons.

    • Guest

Can someone please clarify Publix coupon policy on using X/XX Publix coupon with X/XX competitor coupon in one transaction? Today the manager said that I can use only 1 coupon. I had $3/$30 publix coupon and $5/$30 CVS coupon and my total bill was $36. So the manager said to be able to use both the coupons, my total bill should be $60 or more. Was he right? I ended up using only CVS coupon.

      • Sscarborough

as i understand it, you can only use one because the first one applied to your $30, then the next coupon would apply to another/additional $30….that is great that your publix is willing to accept CVS…ours won't and they are next door to one another

      • Chris

Right – your total before coupons and not including gift cards, taxes, alcohol, or tobacco has to be the total amount from both Qs (so if you had two that both said xx off $30 then your order would have to be $60 or better).  Some stores let you get away if you're really close but others are very strict and adhere to the policy.  Surprised your store still takes CVS for anything other than pharmacy.

      • Tracey

I had that experience a few weeks ago when I gave the cashier a Target coupon and a Publix coupon for the same item.  I didn't realize that was a problem, but the cashier told me I couldn't use them together since the Target coupon was treated like a Publix coupon.  She did let me choose which one I wanted to use.  The Publix coupon was only $1.00 off while the Target coupon was $3.00 off.  I thought that was pretty nice of her.

      • CouponKath

Yes, you would have had to spend $60 precoupons to use both.  Although no publix around here will take CVS..

      • cog94

He was correct.  If you refer to some of the earlier press releases regarding the policy change, you may see that example.

    • do you have to get the yellow advantage flyer from the customer service desk?

      • sarahm

Yes, sometimes, depending on your store. If you can't find it, just ask, they're always helpful! :)

    • Jbvolley01

I tried to get the Dove ice cream bars. From this list, it looked like it was the Dove bars that were BOGO but there was no sign in front of them at the store saying that. I was soo excited to get them for 75 cents, but very disappointed when they werent. Is it just a regional thing?

      • CouponKath

My dove bars were marked 3.99 and didn't ring up bogo either.  I'm in FL.

      • Jan

The list just says Dove Ice Cream (those little sizes of premium ice cream).   That is what my flyer showed also.  The coupon is good for the ice cream or the bars.

      • CCShad

The small pint size Dove ice cream is what is on sale and the coupon works for those.

    • Melissa

If your Publix accepts Whole Foods as a competitor, there is also a .50/1 store coupon for the Organic Valley half and half.

      • where do we get this whole foods coupon(and whole foods coupons in general) only at the store? or online?

    • Dbwiseman

-$1.50/2 Folgers Products RP 5/22/2011 ???   I don't even see this coupon listed.  Am I looking at something wrong?

    • kristen

this has probably been mentioned, but there is a $3/1 150 oz purex in rp 5/01… makes it $4… goodbye $15 tide!!!

    • Shine_kels

Does anyone live in the Charleston/Mount Pleasant, SC area?

Publix used to accept Target, Walgreens, etc. coupons and expired coupons up to a month.  They no longer do at the Publix at Park West or the one off Anna Knapp.  Does anyone know of a Publix in this area that still will?  Thanks!

      • CCShad

I shop the Park West store.  They just changed their coupon policy per corporate, so as you said, they no longer take Target, or drug store coupons.  They said the changes affected all area stores.  They still take that $10 off $40 Harris Teeter coupon, though!

    • Wooburne1

I used a $35 ink in less then a month. I'm thinking of not doing the printable coupons anymore. I got the refill thing from Ebay and it didn't work. I can not keep using $35 of ink so quickly. What's the point if I'm using my savings in ink?

      • Jdoe

        Yep, gotta be careful!

      • Sb

Maybe it's time for a new printer. With the right printer it really does “pay” to print coupons!

        • Laurie

Can you suggest a reasonable printer with low priced ink?

          • Val

A black and white laser jet is the way to go. This is a great article about costs of printing coupons:

          • Chris

Depends on the technology you want to go with.  If you want an all-in-one then I would suggest the Lexmark 901 – it offers all-in-one technology, inkjet, full color, and black ink only costs $5 a cartridge.  It also offers both wired and wireless networking.  If you're looking for a lower cost just-print unit then Kodak and Epson make decent ones with low-cost ink.

If you want to go laser, which I recommend because the printers (and internal parts) last a lot longer, then anything Lexmark or Samsung would be good.  HP makes a good printer but they're only worth it if you can catch a really good deal.  Brother and OkiData printers are notorious for compatibility issues – we don't even recommend them for use by my company's clients with our software.  Laser is obviously more expensive but you get better quality and longer printer life.  I have had my Lexmark Optra T620 for 10 YEARS.  It has a paper sensor issue that needs to be fixed but otherwise has survived quite a few moves in that time and even sat in storage for almost 3 years of that time.  Toner for laser can be expensive because you pay for more pages up-front.  But the cost factored out is about a penny or two per page (when you include paper it goes up to 3 or 4 cents per page depending on how you purchase paper).  Mine has more than one paper tray, a duplexer (prints both sides of the page automatically), and is networked (wired).

Three tips:  Shop online first and find the model you're interested in then gather your info together, including best internet price, and take that with you if you're shopping locally (or just buy online).  Local stores like Staples don't advertise it but they still price-match to internet prices (with a few caveats – check their policy for the fine print).

Buy ink and toner online.  It's cheaper and just as good quality usually.  Be careful with no-name inkjet cartridges though – they can muck up your printer and then you spend what you saved having the printer fixed or even replaced.  Laser toner tends to be more even in quality between named and no-name versions.

Buy paper in case quantity.  Office Depot and Staples usually have really good sales on paper every few months.  Never buy a half case or single reams unless the total cost will be lower than a case (10 reams) – they try to make it look like a deal but it really isn't.  The last case I bought I got at Office Depot for $19 on sale – works out to ~$0.008 per page.  So the price should be around a penny per piece of paper for it to be a good deal.

            • Chris

Oh side note – this is entirely my opinion as an IT professional who currently works for a software company as a Systems Engineer.  I have, professionally, been in IT for 18 years.  So the above is my 2 cents based on my experience.

            • meme

Thank you for all that expertise. We are not pleased with the Brother we bought just for couponing. I think I am still going through too much toner. I don't print every coupon and use draft setting, but I have had to replace the toner too often in my opinion. We seem to miss the good sales too. Another bummer.

I am going to copy and paste your recommendations to a word document and as soon as my toner arrives by UPS (LOL) I will print it out for future reference.

              Thanks again.

            • Chris

NP!  Yeah shop around for ink – toner for mine costs at least $100 a pop but I get at least 15k-30k pages per cartridge so I pay a penny or less per print.  Factor in paper and it only costs me about a penny and a half for a single page and about 2 cents if I print both sides of the page.  Completely worth the investment in laser long-term.  HTH.  Good Luck!

            • Why not Samsung? I purchased a Samsung ml2525 for about $40, and can refill the toner myself. I've not had any issues with it so far.

            • Chris

No I said Samsung was fine – they're not bad at all.  Just avoid Brother and OkiData.

            • Epic reading fail on my part :D

      • softballmom

I have an HP Deskjet F4180.  I go usually use a new ink cartridge every 2-3 months.  These you can get in bundles at Wal-Mart for 24.88 for both.  Be careful on what you print.  I never print a coupon until it is time to use it.  Another tip.  You can cancel a print as soon as the coupon is done to save ink because you are not printing all the extra unnecessary “ad” type stuff that sometimes print under the coupons!

      • Claytonscoupons

i had same problem . bought a prevail pro705, cheap ink . now its a lot more reasonable. have ma my money back

      • kristen

i know, i agree… I am careful not to print EVERYTHING, just print what you know you will buy. don't print a bunch of coupons for no reason. once you get a good stockpile built up, you won't need to print so many coupons, and can stick more to the  newspaper coupons. i go thru paper quickly too

      • ChrissyPunkin

Try a laser printer the next time there is a good sale.  Jenny posts about a Brother one that she likes when it's a good price.

      • Susanizanurse

I have a Brother b&w laser that I’ve replaced the toner once in the past year & I print coupons like crazy. I bought it after Jenny posted a deal on it here … like $49 from Staples or something similar. I ordered replacement cartridges from 123inkjet.com or some site like this. It’s so worth the price!

    • Jdoe

There was no .50 off coupon for Country Crock in the RP 5/22. Only a .40 off coupon. Makes the product .24 cents.

      • Unabellavitag

        Mine was .50

      • Some coupons will vary depending on where you live. Mine was .40 too.

    • jessica

there was a coupon in the tuscaloosa news wed ad for food world buy 4 dannon multi pack yogurt get 1 gallon milk free its a manu or could be considered a store but coupon says manu and has address for publix……..

    • NuuTooQ

I thought Publix wasn't accepting Target Qs anymore?

      • Joanna

Check with the Customer Service Desk at your Publix. The three near me still accept Target and Kroger.

      • couponing rocks!

Mine also accepts them – actually one of the 4 stores they printed on the front of their new official coupon policy that they take (along with Bi-lo, Food Lion, & fresh Market).

        • Jenn

Where do you get Fresh Market coupons?

          • couponing rocks!

I've never seen a Fresh Market coupon, but it is on the list of ones they accept.  Maybe they put it on the list since there aren't any?

            • Sometimes recyclebank.com has a $5/$25  purchase. I ordered one for my mother in law a few weeks ago since she shops there. Next time I will use it at publix.

            • The stores on the list are stores they consider a competitor for your area. We only have 2 stores here that they consider a competitor so it will vary on where you live.

      • Lpkraus

Depends on your local Publix.  My Publix used to NOT accept Target, but now does.  There should be a list posted at your Publix about which stores they consider competitors.

    • agraham

Maybe it is a typo but I don't understand how the  Ronzoni Healthy Harvest or Garden Delights Pasta, 12-13.25 oz, at $1.89 (94¢) is free with a $1/2 coupon??

      • Angelique

It's free if you have the $1/1 coupon :)

I have a few of the $1/ Q's if you want them. Send me your address and I'll drop them in the mail tomorrow morning. I'm in Atlanta and depending on where you are, you could get them in a couple of days.

anyone having trouble bringing up the jala yogurt coupon please help me

    • Coppertopp

After 2 visits to Publix  in Lexington, SC this week, I found out they only accept coupons from the following competitors: BI-LO, Food Lion, Kroger, Piggly Wiggly. They have a card they at the register they will give you with the entire coupon policy printed on it.

    • Dannon Danimals are 3/6.00 6/05 SS 1.00 off Any 1  Makes it 1.00 each.

    • Chris

So in my usual Publix yesterday to pickup my special order and they told me that they are going to now only accept one Publix Q (Advantage Qs that have that “Limit One blah blah” on them) per transaction per item or coupon (for example if you had 4 of something and needed to use two like Qs you would have to split them up).  So they told me if you want to use more than one you have to have multiple transactions.  I don't mind but it makes me wonder if more stores will be doing it.  They tried to tell me it was in the new policy and when I whipped my copy out and told them that it wasn't they told me that it was just going to be that way.  :-/

      • I would contact corporate and ask them to educate the store because they're incorrect.

        • Chris

See I wondered that but wasn't sure since I've heard a lot of people saying they had the same experience.  I'll be sure to make note of that and tell the manager next time I'm in – fortunately I know all of the managers at the location so maybe a little friendliness will go a long way.  I don't want to complain to Corporate because I don't want them to come down on the store.  Thanks Kay.

          • kristen

I don't understand how it benefits them to do separate transactions when you're still buying all of the items and using all of your coupons anyway… especially since it is not in their corporate policy. Since they're taking all the coupons in the end, seems like they'd just want to make it easier on the cashier, you, and the people in line behind you! I'm in woodstock, ga and luckily haven't experienced that yet, just used 2 identical advantage q's today

            • Justinallers

Walmart has been ok with me using 4 & 5 of the same coupons in the same transaction. They just ask that they see the coupons up front so they can scan them as they scan the item.
Maybe that will help Chris. Good luck

    • Coupondad

I had 2 of the $1 off diet coke 16oz or 20 oz. coupons and my Publix allowed me to combine it with the buy 2 16 oz 6 packs get one free since I technically was buying the 16 oz size!  I spent $25 for $105 worth of groceries today. Publix is awesome and I don't see any change in the new policy that has effected me. I usually save around 75% on my Publix trips and I have never ever used a competitors coupon so I am trying to figure out why everyone always complains about the new policy! It's business as usual for me!

    • jenredhead38

I have worked in customer service and retail management for over 15 yrs, treating staff with a servant attitude is not only selfish, but uncivilized. We are all human and have a job to do. Considering there are people out there fleecing the system, I think we need to respect those who are working, whether its Mc Donalds, Publix, or Walmart. Granted there are employees that do have a poor work ehtic and they need an attitude adjustment or find a new job. But for those that are only following policy, the extreme couponers need to get over themselves and have respect for their fellow couponer and the employees that are there helping. I only save about 50.00/month,Those couponers who not only wipe out the shelves but do so with an attitude have ruined it for the rest of us who are just trying to save few bucks

      • Coupondad

        I couldn't agree more!

      • Tracyann3369

Plus they are not using all the product that they buy! They are hoarders! I'm totally for someone getting all they can providing that they also use all they take…but really…who is gonna use a 6 yr supply of cereal before it gets stale?  With so many people hungry in this world..why not share the stash with local churches and send that stash of deoderant and toothpaste to our troops. Nobody needs 2 yrs supply of cleaning products etc.

    • newbie

New to couponing.  Went to Publix for the Dove bars but they were not advertised as BOGO.  Was this an “unadvertised” item?

      • Coupondad

It's not the bars on sale, it is the ice cream (15 oz.) I bought two of the chocolate today for .74 each.

        • My store had bars on sale, too. I specifically bought fudge bars,

    • Tiffiny

once again i go to print coupons and it says there are no more available prints for this produce, what is going on??? im only trying to print one?? are people cheating and using 6 different computers? im barely getting by and really do not appriciate people that take advantage! share people.

      • Justinallers

On one of the extreme couponing shows it showed a women that said she uses 8 computers in her house to print all that she can.

    • Jo R

This has never happened to me before- or anyone for that matter- I bought a two pack of Mr. Clean magic sponges. I had a coupon that I found inside a previous purchase of a four pack of sponges. It was a coupon printed inside the box. After I left I noticed that I was charged for a four pack $4.79 at the end of my receipt- listed between all of my scanned coupons. I was also charged for a two pack- which I Intended to (and did) buy. Well, I figured out that the cashier scanned the coupon on the wrong side- scanning the product barcode instead of the coupon barcode!!! So, instead of taking $1 off my bill it added $4.79! I am going back tomorrow to see if I can fix this. I have an identical coupon still in my possession- maybe that will help! Ugh huh- I've never had a coupon COST me money!

      • sh

Take wide black marker and cross out the product barcode on the back of the coupon.

        • Jo R

Good idea- I never thought that would happen. I went back today with my receipt, the product I did buy, and another coupon I cut out of a box (exactly like the one I used). They gave me money back- $5.05! That is why I love Publix- I explained what happened and they were so nice!

      • Nikki

I had the same thing happen at CVS with the bag tags. Rather than give me credit for using a bag, the cashier accidentally charged me for an extra tag. I try to add up what my total should be before I check out so I know if something gets messed up at the register.

      • millie

are you sticking to your list and not buying a lot of implulse items?? matching sales and coupons for more savings? are you using publix coupons and comp coupons when you can?  if you could tell us about what you do when you go we vould offer some more specific solutions….:)

        • Tina

Millie, I wrote u and Chris back above. However I have a few other ? What is the recyclebank and is that only in certain area. and some time I see buy products coupons are in like a Kraft book/mag etc several have mentioned how do u get these. or again only in certain area. I live in a fairly small rural area so we do not get some of the same benefits as others in the city ex: mailer coupons on Wed. that sometimes have other specials. But I am getting people at work involved and they are going to try and get me them sometimes to help out and we swap out with each other. thanks

          • millie

recycle bank has universal coupons (godd everywhere unless a store is regionally specific) recycle bank is great and it is so easy just go to recylebank (dot com) and register, you watch videos or take quizes for points and then you use those points to “buy” coupons.  the kraft food and family is a subscription magazine and is a little expensive and only comes out 4 times a year. the all you magazine is only sold at walmart but it is only 2.47??? (right in that area) but they have a ton of good coupons that are usable at any store.  i use coupon clipping site, ebay or order whole inserts from online sources (our coupons are not the greatest here either) and yes it is so worth it.  i know you must be thinking BUY coupons?  yes and it is beneficial if it is a rare sell item or it is something that you use a lot of.  coupon swap is a great idea you could set up a box at your work or find someone who is eager as you to help each other find coupons and figure out the best sales.  where are you at (if i may ask)? i am in central alabama. ;)

            • Tracyann3369

The ALL YOU mag is $1.88 where I live in Tennssee … and go to Kraft website to sign up for the Food and Fam mag…I've gotten it for free 3 yrs in a row and LOVE LOVE the mag!

      • Chris

As millie suggests some more details could help others give better advice.

Maybe it would help for you to do a spreadsheet ahead of time so you can see the items you're buying, cost per item quantity, coupons, and amount per line item after coupons.  Add it all up and factor in taxes (if any) and you can get really close.  This is what I usually do for larger trips so I can see what my totals should be before and after coupons and I know what I'm saving – plus it helps me stick to the list and not make too many impulse buys.

        • Tina

To Chris and Millie, I try my best to stick with the BOGO and I try to make sure I have coupons for everything sometimes i don not. Or I try to get the sales in the yellow flier sometimes. But there are times I have to get something I do not have a coupon for, but only if I really need it.  I have been asking ? and have found that I will see more savings when I can start printing coupons as well. And learn when and how to get the competitors  coupons.  Do eith of you shop at CVS if so can you tell me the best way to buy and use the money back rewards.

          • millie

love cvs.  have you looked at jennys getting started guide for cvs?  make it a priority and if you can go to on e of her workshops soon.  the best way with cvs is just take her suggestions on the weekly cvs ad that she posts.  she always has a getting started scenario and a larger for when you get more skilled and comfortable with the way to do it.  i took my daughter on sunday for her first time and she is so excited about the experience.  i started her small and we did three transactions.  if you can find a good one and get to know the people that work there they will help you learn as you go.  but on the community pages (look for the link to the right) and read the getting stared guides and watch jennys tutiorial and you will be on a roll very soon.  but with publix just do as chris said get your list from the weeekly posting like above and make sure you have coupons, check which competitors your store considers and keep  up with all the publix coupons out there that will goes with those manf coupons.  good luck and keep asking those questions!

          • Chris

I agree with millie – keep at it, watch the tutorials, and ask questions (most people are happy to help).

I personally avoid CVS, Rite-Aid, and WAGS – I had a bad experience and found that what I had bought I ended up taking back because Publix or Target or, forbid, Walmart had better deals.  So I just stick with Publix, Kroger, Target, and other retailers and skip the drugstores for now.

But start small, set a goal, and you'll get there where you'll be saving plenty to justify the time, effort, and minimal expense (compared to what you'll be saving).  I was lucky that I learned about couponing growing up so have used them my entire life to some extent.  You'll get there too.

    • went to publix last night got 95.01 worth of things and out of pocket after savings spent 13.59! GO ME!

      • Tina

        ok I am so jealous.

    • Traceybrent

for some reason my printable shopping list will not come up????  It will on my laptop, but I can't print it from the laptop.  Any suggestions!!!!!

    • tori729

So sad that the Jala coupon is gone… I guess too many people abused it? Was it from the manufactur's website?

    • alikat516

I went to Publix yesterday and got 2 John Frieda's using the $5 off Full Repair coupons in this weekend's paper, which I had 2 of, and the $3 of 2 Full Repair Target coupon and since John Frieda is on sale for $3.47 I ended up having an extra $6 in coupons just to spend on other groceries, but I didn't get too much else and used a few other coupons so they paid me .64.

      • Aztecblondie

That actually wasn't right.  The John Frieda Full Repair is not for the shampoo, it is for the hair treatment which, at my Publix, was on sale for $5.99.  Please guys, read the coupons closely.  It has an effect on all of us when people take advantage of these deals.  This is exactly why couponers are getting a bad rep.

        • Dianne L

Thanks for giving the price of the Full Repair! Doing  the deal with the Target coupon for Full Repair $3/2 and the $5/1 X 2 is a great deal!  I love the foam volumizer product! I almost missed this deal!

    • South Carolina Smile

Does any Publix in the Cola area have the Garden Rozzoni Pasta?  I've checked the one at Forest/Trenholm and the one at Rosewood and neither carry them.  Any help from the coupon angels out there?

      Peace, Love and Blessings!

      • Deecheers4rv

The one on two notch did on Wednesday

      • Carolyn

        Harbison Publix has it

    • Dwashburn9

The price shown here for the Shedd's Spread Country Crock is $2.09 ($1.04/ea).  But when I bought some yesterday it was more like $1.17/ea shown on the receipt.  So why the big difference?  How do I know from now on if Southern Savers prices are accurate?

      • Danielle

Prices can vary slightly from region to region at any of the stores.

        • Dwashburn9

Gee!  So no longer can I just print up the shopping list.  Guess it's back to having to have a look at the physical ad..and I'm far away from the store.  Bummed.

      • Couponcharissa

Yes, prices do vary. Often I will find the prices are slightly lower where I am at.

    • Danielle

Went to Publix yesterday for the Freshetta pizza deal.  They took the coupons listed above but the pizzas were not on sale the rang up at $6.99 each.  Is there a sale price somewhere that I am missing?

      • Dixie

At my publix last week, they were out of the kind I like, so I asked about the $5 price and if it would carry over, and they said no, so I got a raincheck.  Maybe it was just for last week and it did not get changed on here since it was under advantage deals.  On the plus side, I think they may have reset the print limit on some of the printables for freschetta!

        • Danielle

Thanks I bought them anyways.  They are decent pizzas and so much cheaper than ordering out.

    • Jenlee311

Does anyone have an extra code that I could have for the coupons on the Child Hunger Ends Here website?  I would really appreciate it!  Thanks!

    • AlisaN

      Do “.50/2” coups double?

      • Chris

      • Mamaberry

depends on where you are… in FL, no….

    • AlisaN

Does anyone know how Publix handles overages?

      • Chris

Most stores take the Q off the transaction total so the overage from the Q is applied to the transaction as a whole.

Depends on the store when it comes to transaction overages (money left over).  Some, like my closest store, give it back to you (I was paid $6 the other night to take my stuff home) – the asst store manager explicitly corrected the cashier and told her that overage was allowed to be paid out.  Other stores may not (I've been in a couple) and in those situations I add a Publix giftcard towards the end of the transaction when I see that I'm going to go over (like if I'll go over by more than a dollar I'll add a $5 gc to my trans before giving the cashier my last Qs so the Qs then eat into the gc).  Then my order only costs a couple of bucks and I got free money on top of free groceries.
Ask your store what they do so you know for sure.

        • AlisaN

          Thank you!

    • My local Publix stores have the Lysol starter kit for 14.99.  They were all sold out, so I went to Walmart and they had them in stock for 7.99 each.  I used my manufacturer coupons there and got a stainless steel one instead.

    • Heatherdille

Did anybody save the JALA BARS pdf coupon? Now the web page isnt working and I need more coupons to use with my rain check as they were out of chocolate ones at our publix.  If you have it can you email it to me?? heatherdille@yahoo.com I would really really appreciate it!! Thanks!

    • monika

hi, could somebody please help and explain to me, i am fairly new to this, but for instance this deal didn't work for me as it is suggested:

Ronzoni Healthy Harvest or Garden Delights Pasta, 12-13.25 oz, at $1.89 (94¢) -$1/2 Ronzoni Healthy Harvest pasta printable -$1/2 Ronzoni Healthy Harvest printable , printable or printable -$1 off Ronzoni Garden Delight pasta, SS 5/15 -$1 off Ronzoni Garden Delight printable -$1/2 Ronzoni Garden Delight printable(makes it FREE)

i purchased the pasta at $1.89, received my other box free, used one $1 off coupon so i still ended up paying .89c.  are 2 ($1 off) coupons supposed to be used in a B1G1 scenario??  i don't see why publix (or other stores) would allow using a coupon for the second item as well that is not being purchased, since technically it is being given as the “free” item….somebody please help explain this to me, would be so grateful!

      • in some areas, BOGo really means half price, and you only have to purchase one. if you purchase 2, you pay for 2, but half price and can use 2 coupons.

This is a benefit, sometimes because we can use 2 coupons, but sometimes it's not because in states where BOGO is REALLY 0.00 on the second, those people can use a BOGo coupon and get both items free.
